"You did that?"Emily asked softly, her voice soft, telling them how hurt she was, but her eyes were filled with so much anger.
"I did."Elena said truthfully as Elijah came to her side, taking off his jacket and put it around her to keep her warm.
"Elena..."Elijah trailed off at the look he got from not only Elena, but from Liah too, and sighed.
"Emily and her boy toys were plotting to kill Klaus, and then they stole the coffins after Daggering Rebekah."Elena stated furiously."She deserved what happened here tonight and she deserves worse."Elena spat, glaring at Emily, who stared back at her, horrified.
"Liah, take Elena back to our house, not the Mansion."Pursing her lips, the Witchpire glanced from Elijah to Emily, shooting her a dark glare, before taking Elena's hand in hers."We will talk about this at home."He added sternly.
"Whatever."Liah said dismissively and Vamp-Sped her and Elena back to their house, leaving Elijah alone with Emily.
"Well..."Elijah trailed off, glancing back at Emily."I believe we have a little catching up to do."He stated and Emily's eyes narrowed.
When Elijah came back, he found Elena stretched out on the couch, reading the Grimoire Liah had gifted to her, and Liah was sitting on the floor, watching a random movie on the TV, which Elena and Liah had brought. Picking up the remote that was sitting on the arm of the chair, which just so happened to be close to where Elijah was standing, Elijah switched off the TV before quickly taking the Grimoire out of Elena's hands.
"Hey!"Both girls whined and glared.
You attacked Emily, why?"Elijah growled out as Elena sat up.
"I told you why."Elena said."Now give me back my Grimoire."
"And give me back the remote!"Liah added, holding her hand out for the remote."I'm missing the movie!"She whined.
"Elena, Liah."Elijah gritted out, not giving them back the items."You two do know that I can tell when you're lying right?"
Both girls glanced at each other."Fine!"Liah said, breaking under the pressure of her Big Brother's intense stare that was normally reserved for Klaus and Kol."Rebekah wanted revenge for Emily Daggering her."Liah admitted and Elena glared at her, causing her to give Elena a look that said; I'm sorry but he was giving me that stare and I broke under pressure."All we did was scare Emily, Rebekah was the only one who actually attacked her."She also defended herself.
"Yes, well, no thanks to the stunt you two pulled tonight, Emily told me that she has disowned Elena and has forbidden her from talking to Jeremy on the phone or going to see him."Liah looked stunned while Elena was outraged.
"She can't do that! She's not even Jeremy's Legal Guardian!"Elena exclaimed, jumping off the couch."I'm not only his Legal Guardian, but also her's, and Alaric is their Acting Guardian until I hand over all rights to him being their real Guardian."Elena explained angrily.
"Are you?"Liah asked softly.
"I already sent in the papers to Sheriff Forbes."Elena admitted as she glanced at Liah."But I can still talk to Jeremy and see him until Alaric tells me otherwise."Elena smirked slightly."Now, can I please have my Grimoire back?"
"And can I have the remote back?"Liah asked.
"Only if you promise me not to go after Emily, the Salvatore Brothers, or their friends again."Liah and Elena opened their mouths to protest but Elijah quickly continued speaking."Unless I say you can."Elena and Liah shared a look before sighing.
"Fine."Elijah handed Liah back the remote. Liah turned back to the TV and turned said TV back on.
Elijah turned back to Elena, who was pouting at him and handed her the Grimoire, but kept a firm grip on the Grimoire when Elena grabbed it, causing her to look at him in annoyance but also with questionably dark hazel brown eyes.
"No casting Dark Spells, only reading them, please."Elijah stated, Elena to purse her lips into a tight line."If you think for a second I didn't know where you or who you got this Grimoire from, you can think again."
"Fine, no casting Dark Spells."Elijah's eyes narrowed."I promise."Elena vowed and peaked Elijah on the lips before taking the Grimoire from him when he released his grip.
It was the same dream again. The same Full Moon. The same forest. The same pentagram. The same seven torches. Elena did the same thing as she did the last few times before she heard something snapped and whirled around, only this time, she didn't wake up.
Standing behind her was none other then Bonnie and a woman who looked like she was related to Bonnie and Sheila. Elena's eyes narrowed as she looked between them before she realised who the woman was. It was Abby Bennett, Sheila's Daughter. Before Elena could question either woman, a blur came racing towards her and before she could do or say anything, her world suddenly went black.
Elena gasped as she woke up and sat up, panting for breath."Elena?"Elijah mumbled softly as he sat up, looking at Elena tired, yet concerned eyes."Is everything alright?"
"Nightmare."Elena mumbled and Elijah looked at her, waiting for her to talk about it but she shook her head."Don't worry, I'm alright, I promise."Elena said softly and lied back down, turning away from him in the process.
Eyeing the younger Immortal, Elijah pursed his lips but decided not to pry and lied down behind her, wrapping his arm around her waist and he pulled her against his chest before nuzzling his face into the crook of Elena's neck and left small butterfly kisses there, causing Elena to giggle softly before they both drifted off to sleep.
The trio of brunette's were at the Mansion the next morning and while the men were getting fitted for their tuxes, the trio of girls were getting their nails done. Kol was standing in front of the mirror, and Finn, who's hair was cut to suit the modern world, were getting their pant sizes done while Elijah was looking at a pair of shoes with a drink in one hand while his other hand held up the shoes.
"Rebekah, tell me how handsome I am."Kol demanded, rather then asked, as he continued to look at himself in the mirror.
Liah chuckled softly as Rebekah looked over at Kol."Oh, Kol, you know I can't be compelled."Finn smirked and Elena sipped on her drink to hide her amused smile."Ask Liah, I'm sure she'll give you the answer you're looking for."
"Liah will always tell me that I'm handsome no matter what state I'm in because I'm her twin."Kol retorted and Liah nodded in agreement."Elena, Little Sister."He sang, looking at Elena through the mirror.
"I am not answering that question, Kol, because then I have to tell Elijah"Elena pointed over at Elijah."that he looks better then you or I'll have to deal with a jealous lover all night."Elijah smirked while Kol huffed.
"No one loves me."He muttered and Liah rolled her eyes before everyone turned their attention to the door when it opened and slammed shut behind a furious Mikaelson Hybrid.
"You went after Emily?"Klaus asked the trio of girls, who he stormed over to."What is wrong with you three?"
"Here we go."Rebekah said, smiling sweetly up at Klaus while Liah smirked and Elena pretended to look innocent.
"Do you two want another Dagger in your hearts?"Klaus questioned his two Sisters."And don't think I won't put one in Elijah if you misbehave, Elena."He added turning to Elena."I don't know how to put you down yet, but until I do,I can always threaten to Dagger Elijah to keep you in check."
"Again with the Dagger threats?"Kol jumped in, turning to face Klaus."Don't you have any other tricks?"Kol questioned him.
"Oh, go back to staring at yourself."Klaus said drily, glancing over his shoulder at Kol.
"And who are you, my Father?"Kol retorted causing Klaus to look back at him sharply.
"No, Kol. But you're in my House."Klaus hissed out, taking a couple of steps towards Kol.
"Then perhaps we should go outside."Kol said, getting in Klaus' face.
"Enough."Esther said, stepping into the room and everyone looked at her."Niklaus."Klaus glanced from Kol to Esther."Come."Esther turned on her heels and started walking away with Klaus following after her while Kol smirked as he watched his Older Half-Brother follow their Mother.
"Well, you lot have your tuxes ready, we however don't have dresses so we'll be going out to buy some and we also need dates."Rebekah said, saying the last bit to Elena and Liah."Elena's obviously going with Elijah, but there is no way that you're going with Kol."She added quickly when Liah opened her mouth to say something.
"Why not? Kol is always my escort at such events."Liah whined as Rebekah got up, pulling the two brunette's up with her and walked towards the front door.
"What do you think?"Rebekah asked, stepping out of the dressing room of the shop they were in. She was wearing a skin tight dark emerald green mermaid dress with only one off shoulder short sleeve attached to it.
"It looks great."Liah said, eyeing the dress and Rebekah raised an eyebrow at her."It brings out your eyes."Elena nodded in agreement."I say wear it to the Ball."
"I totally agree, it does bring out your eyes and it goes well with your skin complex."Elena said honestly when Rebekah turned to her questionably, and the blonde rewarded Elena with a breathtaking smile.
"Alright, then, I'll get this one."Rebekah said happily."Now, go try on the ones that I picked out for you, oh and Elena, don't worry about the price, Elijah's paying."Rebekah added, having noticed the way the Werewitch eyed the prices on the dresses that they walked passed.
"How?"Elena asked, looking over her shoulder at the blonde, who showed her Elijah's credit card."Ah."Elena walking into the second dressing room while Liah went into the third one and Rebekah went back into the dressing room she had been in so that she could change back into her normal clothes.
Five minutes later, after Rebekah came out in her regular clothes and was holding onto her dress that she was going to be wearing tonight, Elena came out wearing a simple red satin, strapless off shoulder lace up, floor length dress and Liah came out wearing came out wearing a sky blue sweetheart, lace chiffon dress.
"You both look amazing!"Rebekah squealed, delighted that her choice of dresses fitted her Sisters perfectly."Elijah will be knocked off his feet at the sight of you, Elena."Elena's face reddened slightly.
"She'll be knocking every man off their feet and Elijah will have to fend them off."Liah retorted, smirking as Elena's blush darkened.
"Liah! Bekah!"Elena whined."Stop it."The Mikaelson Sisters ignored her pleas and continued to playfully embarrass her.
After buying their dresses, Elena, Rebekah, and Liah went to the Grill because Rebekah wanted to ask Matt to attend the Ball with her. Walking inside, the trio caught sight of Caroline and Emily chatting about the Ball and the Salvatore Brothers.
"Careful, Caroline."Rebekah said as she, Elena, and Liah stopped in front of them."It's all well and good till she stabs you in the back."She warned the Baby Vampire
"What are you doing here?"Emily exclaimed, eyeing Elena warily rather then the Mikaelson Sisters."I know your Mom's rules. No hurting the locals."
"Get over yourself, Emily."Rebekah said softly, gritting out the words."It's not all about you."She said before walking off to find Matt.
"She's right. It isn't."Liah said, smirking darkly at Elena."If you ever try to Dagger Rebekah again, I'll do more then just give you a fright, regardless of my Mother's rules or my Brother's wrath."Liah warned Emily, who knew that she would follow through with the threat, and paled but glared back at Liah and Elena.
"I'm not afraid of you."Emily said strongly and Liah chuckled.
"Oh, you should be."Liah said coldly."You see, I'm not like Elijah, who is called the Noble Original. I'm known as the Wild Original and I have a very dark and twisted mind when it comes to the art of torture."Caroline grimaced and Emily flinched.
"Oh Little Sister..."Elena trailed off and pursed her lips as Emily and Caroline looked at her warily."Oh, wait, you're not my Sister anymore. You disowned me."Caroline gasped and looked at Emily in shock."You can disown me as your Sister and as a Gilbert, which to be honest, I'm glad you did, but you cannot make me stay away from Jeremy."Emily glared and went to protest."You're not his Legal Guardian."Elena stated firmly and Emily shut her mouth."I was, and now Alaric is, and until he tells me to stay away from Jeremy, and it's actually him telling me, and not him being influenced by you or the Salvatore Brothers, I will talk or go visit Jeremy if I so please."Elena explained calmly to her enraged twin."Oh, and while we're on the topic of Siblings, I see the Mikaelsons as my Siblings, so let me make this very clear to you."Elena said, stepping forward a bit."If you ever try to Dagger one of them, or try to kill them, I will burn you alive."Elena's eyes flashed pure amber, like fire, so fast that the two horrified girls thought that they were hallucinating.
Knowing that they got their threats across, both Immortals walked over to Rebekah, feeling Caroline's and Emily's gazes follow them, and heard Caroline gasped when she saw that Rebekah was talking to Matt.
"Oh, my god."They heard Caroline exclaim softly at seeing Rebekah hand Matt the invite."She's inviting him to the Ball. Why is she inviting him?"She asked Emily.
"Probably to get this reaction from us."Emily said, trying to sound calm, as if Elena and Liah threatening her never happened.
"What time is this stupid dance?"Caroline asked.
"Elena."Esther said the moment the girls walked through the front door and were greeted by the older blonde haired woman waiting for them."We haven't had the time to properly introduce ourselves to each other."
"Oh."Elena said softly.
"Come, sit with me."Esther requested.
"Ok."Elena said, feeling wary of the older Witch, but followed her to the living room.
Liah looked as if she was going to follow the duo to the living room, but Rebekah, seeing the look on her Older Sister's face, grabbed her by the arm and dragged her upstairs to go do her make up. Liah protested at hearing the word makeup, and told Rebekah that she only wanted a little bit of makeup applied to her face, and that it had to be close to natural or nothing at all.
"I'm sure you've heard a lot about me from my children."Esther stated as soon as she and Elena had sat down and the Immortal in question nodded politely."Well, I'd like to say welcome to the Family, Elena, and that I'm happy that Elijah has finally found you."Esther smiled sweetly at Elena, who returned it politely."Out of all my children, I have to say that Elijah is the one who deserves to be happy the most."Elena looked at her, slightly surprised."I'm not one to judge you based on the fact that you look like Tatia."Esther said, noticing the look on Elena's face that she had tried to mask."You make him happy and I can see that he makes you happy. I accept your relationship, not only because you two are a Balanced Pair, but because I know that he truly loves you and you truly love him."
"I'm grateful, for such kind words, Esther. Thank you."Elena said, still smiling politely at the blonde Witch."I should go join Rebekah and Liah, they want to do my makeup and hair."Elena said, standing up."So if you'll excuse me..."Elena trailed off and went to head to the stairs.
"Oh, Elena, dear."Esther quickly called out to her, causing her to stop and look back at Esther."I want you on the staircase tonight, with my children and I, and I want Elijah to introduce you as his Fiancée."Elena looked at Esther, eyes wide, before she slowly nodded.
"Ok."Elena mumbled, unable to say no to the woman, who smiled brightly at her, before she made her way upstairs.
