As everyone gathered back into the main room, Elijah guided Elena over to where Emily was."So how was my mother?"Elijah asked, surprising Emily, who looked at them sharply.

"Intense."Emily said truthfully, turning slightly to face them.

"And for what reason did she need to speak with you in private?"Elijah asked and Elena raised an eyebrow at her twin, who shot her a heated glare.

Before Elena could ask Emily what she did now, Esther appeared on the staircase and a waiter walked by the trio, but stopped when Elijah grabbed two glasses of champagne, giving them to Elena and Emily and then grabbed one for himself. Elena pursed her lips when she saw the way Emily looked at Esther, who smiled at the Doppelganger.

"Odd."Elena muttered under her breath.

"Emily."Elijah said sharply, drawing Emily's and Elena's attention back to him."Should I be concerned about my Mother's intentions?"

"She just wanted to apologise for trying to have me killed."As soon as Emily said that, Elena knew her twin was lying. Emily was a bad liar.

"So it's true, then?"Elijah asked to be sure."She's forgiven Klaus?"He added.

Elena wondered why he was pestering Emily, only to realise that he knew that Emily was lying right to his face and was trying to see if she'd either slip up or give in and tell them the truth.

"It's true."Emily flat out lied to Elijah's face, again, just before Esther started her speech by getting everyone's attention through clinking her glass.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen."Esther said, getting everyone's attention."Waiters are coming round with champagne."Esther stated."I invite you all to join me in raising a glass."Esther added and everyone started grabbing said glasses of champagne."It provides me with no greater joy than to see my Family back together as one."She said once she saw everyone grab a glass, including her children."I'd like to thank you all for being part of this spectacular evening."She raised her glass."Cheers."

"Cheers."Everyone echoed and started drinking except for Elena, Emily, and Elijah.

"Cheers."Elijah said, turning back to Emily, along with Elena, to both girls and they clinked their glasses together. Both Elijah and Elena raised their glasses to their lips, but didn't drink the champagne.

They both eyed Emily, giving the Doppelganger one last chance to stop whatever it was that Esther was truly planning by seeing if she'd drink the champagne. When Emily actually did drink the champagne, they did as well, only instead of drinking all of it, the couple took a small sip, but that was all that needed for Esther's plan to work. The moment the champagne hit Elena's tongue, she wanted nothing more then to spit it out, but not to be rude in front of everyone, she swallowed the taste grimly and shivered slightly.

"I don't believe I like pink champagne."Elena mumbled to Elijah, who glanced down at her curiously, before holding his hand out for the glass, which she gave to him."If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go talk with Rebekah and Liah."Elena said louder so that Emily heard her and moved away from the duo and went to find Liah and Rebekah as everyone went back to their conversations or went back to dancing.

"Liah."Elena said softly as she came to stand next to Liah."Where's Rebekah?"Elena mumbled softly."I have to talk to the both of you."Elena said in a serious voice.

Seeing how anxious Elena look, Liah politely excused herself from the conversation she was having and left with the other brunette to find Rebekah. It didn't take them long to find Rebekah, because they found her having a heated conversation with Kol.

"Rebekah."Both brunette's said in unison time as Rebekah started walking away and the blonde looked at them with a raised eyebrow before heading in their direction.

"Elena has something to tell us."Liah said softly and as they started walking towards somewhere more private, the girls heard Kol say;"As you wish, Sister."

"What was that about?"Elena asked, trying to act casual as they avoid the guests and the Mikaelson Brothers altogether.

"Nothing."Rebekah said quickly as they entered the ground level study and shut the doors before turning to Elena questionably.

"Did the champagne taste off to either of you?"Elena asked softly, wanting to keep her voice low in case someone heard their concerns.

"No."Rebekah said before glancing at Liah, who was nodding.

"It did to me, but I thought nothing of it."Liah stated, frowning as she and Rebekah looked back at Elena."Why are you asking? What's wrong, Little Sister?"Liah asked, eyebrows furrowed.

"Because-"Elena was cut off by them all hearing a loud thump, like someone had just fallen off of the balcony.

Looking at each other in concern, the trio of girls quickly left the study and headed for the front doors, where they saw Stefan, who was in front of them, darting towards the doors and got outside before they could. Elijah, Finn, Emily, and Klaus, having seen the group rushing towards the front doors without trying to be noticed, followed after them.

Coming to a stop at the entrance, the group saw Stefan standing a bit away from Damon, who was standing over Kol's prone form."Are you crazy?"They heard Stefan breathe out.

"Kol!"Liah exclaimed, realising that Damon had snapped Kol's neck, and would have gone to her Brother's side if it wasn't for Klaus quickly grabbing her by the arm."Nik-We don't need to make a bigger scene, Aaliyah."Klaus cut Liah off sharply.

"Maybe a little."Damon said, looking past Stefan, at Emily, who had taken longer to get there because she had been further away from the front doors."Far be it from me to cause a problem."Seeing the wild look in Damon's eyes, Elena realised that he was lashing out, and the only person who could make him lash out was Emily whenever she hurt his feelings.

Looking from the retreating back of the Older Salvatore Brother to her distressed twin, Elena gritted her teeth. Elena stormed over to her twin while Finn, Klaus, and Elijah went to pick Kol's prone form up together, to make it more believable that they were Humans and Liah and Rebekah followed their Older Brothers back inside.

"What did you do?"Elena demanded, crossing her arms and glared at Emily.

"I don't know what you're-Don't finish that sentence, Emily."Elena cut Emily off sharply, the warning clear in her voice.

"You know what you did. You always know what you do to Damon and yet you still do it, and then someone gets hurt, or worse, killed, like Jeremy did."Elena snarled, glaring darkly at Emily, who flinched before glaring back at Elena.

"Yeah, just like you killed someone so that you could Trigger the Werewolf Curse we have?"Emily retorted and Elena froze, eyes widening."Yeah, I know that we're Werewolves, and that you're Immortal because you let me die!"Emily sneered at a flabbergasted Elena."I can't believe you're so greedy that you were willing to let me die so that you could become an Immortal, so you could what? Live a long life with Elijah?"

Elena snapped out of her flabbergasted state and narrowed her eyes at Emily."You have no idea what you're talking about, Emily, so I suggest you shut your mouth before I do something I won't regret."Elena warned her.

"I have no idea what I'm talking about? Then why don't you tell me why?"Emily said in a snarky voice."Why didn't you tell me I was a Werewolf? I could have become one and then Klaus-Then Klaus would have to wait another five hundred years for another Doppelganger to appear?"Elena cut in.

"And what do you think he would have done while he was waiting for that to happen?"Elena asked, raising an eyebrow at Emily.

"Go back to wherever he was hiding away from the rest of the Supernatural Community? I don't think so."Elena shook her head.

"I think he would have done the same thing he did to Katherine's Family. He would have killed everyone you loved, and would have killed you too."Elena snarled and Emily paled, having not thought of that."And as for me becoming an Immortal out of greed? Please, I never wanted to be an Immortal, and if I had died in your place in the Ritual, you would have gained all of the Petrova Magic."Elena exclaimed."Magic, Emily. I was taught from a young age on how to control my Magic. You on the other hand, have no Magic, and don't get me started on Bonnie having not been taught from a young age, because it's different."Elena said sternly."The Petrova Magic, our Bloodline is said to be older then Bonnie's, and it's a hell of a lot stronger. Do you think you could possibly handle becoming an Immortal and having control of that much power?"Elena questioned Emily, who remained silent during Elena's rant. Elena sighed, taking a deep breathe and closed her eyes, counting backwards from ten, before opening her eyes again."Go home, Emily."Elena stated coldly before heading back inside the Mansion.

"Is he awake yet?"Elena asked Liah. Elena had helped Elijah see to it that everyone had left before heading upstairs was now standing in the hallway, in front of Kol's room with Liah, who shook her head in a negative response.

"Not yet."Liah said, sounding tense."I need to do something, anything. Nobody snaps my twin's neck but me. I want revenge."Liah gritted out and Elena eyes narrowed.

"Do you still got the stands of Damon's hair that I gave you?"Elena suddenly asked and Liah suddenly gave he a wicked and cruel smirk."I'll take that as a yes."Liah grabbed Elena by the wrist and dragged Elena into her room, shutting and locking the door.

As Liah locked the doors of her room after she and Elena were inside she also lit another Sage so they wouldn't be overheard. Elena looked at Liah with a wide smirk on her face as a malicious and vindictive thought occurred to her.

"I have an idea, Liah."Liah looked at her curiously."We should cast an Illusion Spell on Damon so when he sleeps, in his dreams he will be tormented by his worst fears and all those innocents he killed will plague his pathetic mind."

Liah grinned widely, feeling proud of her Little Sister."I agree, let's do that."

"I can't actually do the Spell, Liah."Elena suddenly and Liah groaned.

"Right, your promise to Elijah."Liah huffed angrily.

"But that doesn't mean I can't allow you to Siphon some of Magic to make the Spell last longer."Liah beamed at Elena, happy that her younger Sister was still able to help her in some way.

Walking over to the table, Liah gathered the ingredients she need to do the Spell while Elena stood on the opposite side of her. Once Liah had mixed all of the ingredients into a bowl, she dropped the strands of Damon's hair into said bowl before holding her hands out for Elena to take.

Putting her hands in Liah's hands gently, Elena watched as Liah closed her eyes and started chanting while her hands and the necklace around her neck started to glow. A few moments later, Liah released her hold on Elena's hands and opened her eyes, smirking at Elena.

"It's done."Liah said in an eerie voice.

"Sweet dreams, Damon."Elena said wickedly.

Elena was, not sneaking per-say down the hallway to her's and Elijah's room when Esther and Elijah rounded the corner and caught sight of her at the same time she caught sight of them.

"Elena."Esther called out sharply to the brunette, who winced at the tone, knowing that it was the; I'm extremely upset and disappointed tone, in Esther's voice."Come."Grimacing, Elena walked over Elijah's side and he reacted by wrapping his arm around her waist as they followed the blonde into her room."No violence."Esther said, walking into the room."That was all I asked."She turned around to face them as they stood in the doorway."Rebekah and Kol disgraced our Family tonight."She thundered."And then you get into an argument with your Sister. Anyone could have heard or seen it."

Elena looked down at her feet, not wanting to meet Esther's cold gaze."It won't happen again, Mother."Elijah spoke up for them."I'll deal with them, and I'm sure Elena has realised her own errors tonight."

"I'm sorry, Esther."Elena said softly, looking back up at the older Witch.

Esther sighed gently as she looked at her Second Born Son and her features softened as she stepped towards them, and reached out to caress Elijah's cheek before doing the same to Elena, surprising her.

"You are forgiven, Elena."Esther said to Elena before looking back at her Son."And thank you, Elijah. I wish the others were more like you."Elijah looked at Esther for a moment, his eyes narrowed slightly before he pulled himself and Elena away from the blonde.

Without saying a word, they left the room, almost bumping into Finn on the way out."Sorry, Finn."Elena said, even though they didn't actually bump into the Oldest Original, and she couldn't help but glance from Finn to Esther before allowing Elijah to guide her back to their room."Does something seem off to you?"Elena asked in a soft voice.

"Yes."Elijah said, surprising Elena, as he glanced back the now shut doors that lead to his Mother's room."However, we should speak more about this in our room."Elijah added, glancing around, as if thinking his Siblings would pop up out of nowhere."But first, I must go and reprimand my Siblings. You go and wait in our room."Elena nodded and as she was told while Elijah went to find Kol and Rebekah.
