Unable to shake the feeling that his beloved wimp is nearby, Wolfram walks to the door and opens it. He peers into the empty corridor and frowns. There isn't a trace of the handsome young man he once called 'his,' but in his heart, he knows the other was there.

Wolfram squeezes his eyes tight shut and balls his hands into fists at his side and cries, unable to stop himself. /Yuuri. I.. I might not know what's going on but, I know that you're still here... with us, with me. I.. I don't know how, but I swear, I'll find a way to bring you back! Even if it costs me my life!/

Concerned about her other father, the young girl known as Greta slowly slides down off the bed and walks over to where he's standing in the doorway. She reaches up and takes one of his hands in hers and holds it tight in her own smaller ones and looks up at him, concerned. "Wolfram?"

She wants to ask if he's alright, but she already knows what his answer will be.

"Oh! Greta! Hai, I'm alright. It's just, I thought..." Wolfram opens his emerald green eyes, moist from the tears he was just crying, and looks down at the little girl he co-adopted alongside Yuuri. /I can't tell her I thought I felt Yuuri's presence just now. It'll just get her hopes up that Yuuri is coming back and if I can't find a way... /

He sighs heavily and places his free hand over the ones holding his and gives them a gentle squeeze. "It doesn't matter. I was just..."

"... missing Yuuri?"

"..."

"I miss him too." Greta admits sadly, her amber colored eyes closing as she looks down.

Wolfram pulls his hands away from hers and places them gently on his daughter's shoulders. "Listen, Greta. I don't want you to worry about anything, alright? I was engaged to Yuuri for a long time, so I know for a fact that he wouldn't want to see you, sitting around, crying and mourning his death. Instead, he would want you to go outside and play and to have fun."

"Th-That sounds like Yuuri alright, but..."

"No buts. As your other father, I'm telling you, go play and don't worry. I'll take care of everything."

"But... Yuuri... won't he be angry with me if I...?"

"Yuuri could never be angry with you. You're his perfect little girl."

Greta looks up at her other father with tears in her amber colored eyes before looking back down, mulling over his words. "You're right. He would want me to do what makes me happy. Wouldn't he?"

"Hai. Now, go play while I take care of everything."

Greta throws her small arms around Wolfram's mid-section and hugs him tight, crying. Not just because she misses her father, but because she's come to love her other father even more for reassuring her that, despite her father's absence, everything will be alright. "Arigato!"

Wolfram gasps in mild-shock when his daughter hugs him, but doesn't make any moves to stop her, having needed a hug himself. Of course, he would never admit it. He looks down at her, smiling a little. "Sure. Anything for my little princess."

Smiling, Greta nuzzles her other father's side affectionately, inadvertently drying the tears that had been welling in her eyes up until that point on his uniform. She let's go and runs off down the corridor to the nearest exit to go play.

Wolfram smiles when his daughter nuzzles him affectionately, then runs off to play. /If only Yuuri could see her now. He'd be so happy to see her smiling. Even if she is only putting on a brave face./

He sighs and stares off space, thinking. /Yuuri. When I said I would give my life to bring you back, I meant it. So... if you really are here, even if it's just in spirit, you'd better show up in time to stop me. Or when I join you on the other side, I'll torment you forever./
