Rin leaped onto her bed with a sigh. Today has been really tiring.
Miku wouldn't stop telling her how dangerous Len was and how he could probably use her as some sacrifice and...the rest she didn't hear since Miku began to ramble on and on about something involving charms and voodoo dolls? She wasn't quite sure.
She rolled onto her back and sighed heavily. Today has been rather exhausting, especially with Miku bombarding her with questions she couldn't answer or didn't want to answer. She was lucky enough to be able to get away with not saying a word about this...complicated deal to Miku. Though it was obvious that from now on Miku was going to be suspicious about her interactions with Len.
"Ahhh! Geez! Why is this so frustrating?" Rin groaned as she began banging her head onto her pillow. She then dropped her head on top of the pillow with a sigh. Darn it, if only she didn't open her mouth about her inexperience-ness during that day, maybe she could've saved herself the trouble.
She sighed heavily once more then she picked up her pillow and buried her head underneath it. She really needs some sleep. Suddenly her phone began to ring loudly and vibrate violently on her bedside table.
Rin paused for a moment before she peeked at the table from underneath her pillow. Who was messaging her this late? Rin slowly reached for her phone and checked to see how it was.
Rin blinked to see it was a message from Len. She opened the message and read it before she froze entirely. She immediately sat up and reread the message. She tilted her phone from left to right as if to see if she had misread the message or perhaps the words would change if she tilted her phone in different angels.
Rin slowly turned bright red as she stared at the screen of her phone. Was he serious? He can't be, right?
Sure, she realizes that they were in a (fake) relationship but she didn't think he would ask her..this so suddenly.
Rin fiddled with her phone nervously, wondering how to respond. She had never received a message like this before so she wasn't sure how to respond to it. Obviously, she would have to say yes but in the same time she wasn't ready for this!
She stared at her phone, her fingers fidgeting lightly on the back of her phone. How was she going to answer this? Should she answer it casually? Maybe she should think about it again... Was she supposed to be formal on this?
Rin groaned as she rolled around on her bed, tugging on her ribbon in frustration. How in the world was she going to respond to this?
That was when a knock can from her door.
Knock Knock
"Oi! Rin!" Lenka called out before opening the door. "Dinner is ready."
Lenka blinked when she saw her little sister rolling around her bed while gripping on her ridiculously large ribbon. "What on earth are you doing?" Lenka deadpanned.
Rin froze and turned over to her older sister. "Um...thinking?" She awkwardly said. Lenka raised a brow at her, obviously not convinced. "Uhuh..." She muttered. "Anyways Mom said its time for dinner so come on before the food gets cold."
Rin nodded as Lenka turned and left the room. Rin sighed as she fell back onto her bed and rolled to her side. She looked into her phone and stared at the message. How was she going to respond? She can't keep staring at her phone forever so what was she going to say?
Out of nowhere, a hand grabbed her phone and took it out of her hands. Rin gasped and frantically sat up to see her sister holding her phone and looking into the screen. Rin's jaw dropped in shock and she flew into a panic.
"N-N-N-Nee-chan!" Rin yelled as she tried to grab her phone back but Lenka merely brought the phone away from her reach. "Give my phone back! Give it back!"
Lenka looked to Rin and snorted. "Did you honestly think I'd believe my sister after she said she was rolling around on her bed with an odd expression on her face was because of nothing?" Lenka said as she looked back to the phone. "Now what's this on your phone?"
"Don't look!" Rin exclaimed as she tried grabbing her phone with a panicked expression on her face. Lenka read the message and blinked. "A date? Is this a joke?" Lenka bluntly said before Rin finally snatched her phone back. "Its none of your business." Rin huffed.
"Omg, did someone really asked my awkward little sister on a date?" Lenka gasped in shock. "I...I don't know what to say. Is this the beginning of the end or something? I don't know whether to celebrate or falling into despair-"
"Nee-chan, shut up." Rin grunted. It can't be that surprising. Sometimes her sister can be so dramatic.
"So who's the guy crazy enough to ask you out?" Lenka asked curiously. "Is it a guy from school? Someone I know?" She then let out a gasp in realization. "Could it be that kid that walked you home last time?"
"Nee-chan, this is none of your business!" Rin exclaimed, having enough of her sister's exaggeration but it was more than enough to confirm Lenka's suspicions.
"It is him, isn't it?" Lenka exclaimed. "Wow, I'm kinda speechless honestly. He's a really cute guy and looked to be the type a girl would swoon for. I can't believe he'd actually ask you, the most awkward girl in the planet for a date."
Rin halfheartedly glared at Lenka which she ignored as she continued. "So how are you going to respond?" She questioned. Rin paused at that. "I...I don't know."
Lenka blinked and tilted her head. "You don't know?" She repeated and Rin scratched the back of her head with a sigh. "Well...this is the first time someone has ever...asked me out like this so...I'm not sure how to respond." She said honestly.
Lenka snorted. "Isn't it obvious? Just say yes and send."
Rin frowned."Its not that easy, nee-chan." She huffed. "I need to think of how to message him. Should I be formal? Should I just send a casual message? Should I- Hey!" Rin exclaimed as she tried to grab her phone back which Lenka had snatched from her hand again.
Lenka just took the phone out of Rin's reach as she tapped on the little buttons of the phone. Lenka then tossed the phone back to Rin afterwards. Rin fiddled with her phone from the sudden action for a moment before she stared at her phone in shock.
"W-What did you do?" Rin chocked. "I answered for you." Lenka snorted. "I just wrote 'Sure, let's meet around 8. I can't wait for Saturday' and that's it."
"You can't just take my phone and answer my messages for me!" Rin exclaimed. "Why not? You had no idea how to answer his message right? So you should be thankful that I answered for you."
"Still! I should be the one to answer him, not you!" Rin said and Lenka rolled her eyes. "Well, its not like you were going answer anytime soon." She said. "If you take too long to answer, the guy is going to think that you're not interested." Lenka explained. "Besides you going to say yes to the date right? Its not like you were going to reject it so what's the problem?"
Rin frowned and stayed silent. Well, Lenka had a point at this but... "Even so! You should've let me answer it! I mean this is the first time someone has every asked me out on a date!" She exclaimed.
Lenka scoffed loudly. "Whatever. Anyways just come down soon before dinner gets cold." She said before she walked out of the room. Rin huffed before she looked down at her phone.
She didn't know why she was worked up on this, especially since it was with that demon prince but then again...this was the first time someone honestly messaged her for a date. Even though, she knew this was all just an experiment by that blackmailing demon, it was still a first for her.
Rin sighed loudly as she closed her phone and tossed it at the side of her bed then fell back against the bed. Well, despite the irritation she was feeling, how she was going to answer Len's message was solved. Now her next problem was...what is she going to do?
Rin sat up and leaped off her bed before searching for every magazine she could find inside her room. She was going to have to do a lot of research on this, if she wants to get the experience she needs. She piled up the magazines onto her desk and grab one to start reading. She'll start researching-
"Rin Kagami! You come down right now! The food is already getting cold!" Her mother yelled from down the stairs.
Right after she finish dinner.
A/N: Hey guys! Its been awhile since I last updated this story. The chapter is short but I hope you enjoyed it. I;ve been pretty busy for awhile due to the usual things. School and stuff but hey, tomorrow is a really, really special day for me.
Tomorrow, October 30 is my Birthday! Hooray! *que confetti rain everywhere*
To think I managed to survive a year and now I get to party tomorrow! I still remember my birthday years ago. At the time, I realized having the day before halloween as your birthday isn't always an awesome thing. To play a prank on me, my big bro decided to wear a creepy clown mask and got close to my face about an inch away while I was sleeping.
Long story short, I freaked out when I woke up with a freakin' clown face an inch from my face and ended up falling from my bed with my brother laughing his ass off.
I never saw clowns the same way ever again after that.
Anyways I hope you like this chapter and please review when you have the time okay?
Well, thats it for now so until then, bye!
