I got up this morning and asked for something to do. Master Mannimarco said I can do whatever I felt like, so I went for a walk. While walking, I heard someone scream and a roar. Out of instinct, I ran as fast as I could to where the cries were coming from. A huntress was being pursued by a troll. She tripped and was mauled violently. I rushed in before the beast was able to make its kill. I tackled it and started to violently pound its body wherever I could. I channeled fire into my fists, punching harder and harder. Its face, now burn, a new wave of energy came to me. I was somehow absorbing is fatigue and strength. I threw my punches faster and faster with even more force. Then a snapping noise was heard. Apparently, I had been hitting the troll's face so hard that I must have broken its neck. Standing up with no fatigue whatsoever, I turned to see the huntress. She was a wood elf. In return for saving her, she gave me her ebony bow and went off to…who knows where. I now have some interest in archery. I should practice it whenever I get the chance.

Master Mannimarco has noticed how often I'm carrying the bow around. I think he doesn't like it because it doesn't relate to what we do. I told him how I got it and he seemed displeased. I hope I haven't angered him that much. Who knows what might happen if he gets too mad.

I've made adept! Although I feel as if my personality has started to change. I've become more ruthless. Killing has become...enthralling, but I don't want to become a killer. Mannimarco captured an Imperial during midday and told me to kill him. I asked him how and he said,"Lantrius, I suspect you're not taking necromancy seriously. If you want to be one you have to kill living beings, capture their souls, and reanimate. Now, I haven't seen you kill anybody in person and you only did so in self-defense. By my standards, that doesn't count. Do this and you're one step closer to your precious title of master, and I'll believe that you're still with the art of necromancy." So, I killed him and that satisfying feeling popped up. I can't keep feelings like that with me. It feels...wrong.

Master Mannimarco has some "friends" over at the lair right now and I can't be in there while they discuss things. I found this nice little open area to practice my archery skills. The bow string is harder to pull back than I thought it. Gods that lady is strong! I do however seem to be getting the hang of it.

It's been a year since Master Mannimarco took me in as an apprentice. I think that I have more power than his so called "friends" and I'm not a master yet. He's stalling my progress and I know it. "Do this and you're one step closer." he says. To hell with that! I don't know what he's so afraid of. Whatever it is it's starting to really annoy me! I need to have patience. If I wear the robes he gave me, maybe he declare me master? It's worth a shot even though I already know the outcome.

Today I met one of Master Mannimarco's friend's apprentice. She was here because her master was as well. She isn't as strong and young as I am, but I think that's why she gives me this nasty look. She was an altmer like Mannimarco and about, I would guess, twenty nine years of age. We chatted for a little bit out of boredom and asked her if she likes anything outside of necromancy. She said, "I like animals and swordplay. But I don't tell my master that. He'll probably toss me aside like a rag. How about you?"
"Archery, swords, animals, and elves I suppose.
" Elves?"
"Yeah, I like archery and elves because...I saved this Bosmer huntress from a troll attack and she gave me her ebony bow. She was...beautiful. It really gave me a different view on people other than humans."
She tried to hide her smile. "That's adorable. How would you like some sword lessons?" She offered and I said yes. It appeared as if I had a natural talent for it. I should look for one of the silver swords if Master hasn't disposed of them already.

Turns out he got rid of all, but missed one. I found it behind one of the rocks in the cave. I must hide it just in case. Mannimarco says that we'll start moving to Skyrim in three days. I hear it's pretty cold up there.

We have finally arrived in Skyrim and it doesn't seem as cold as I thought I would be, although still pretty chilly. We are currently staying at, "Dead Man's Drink" in Falkreath. For some reason, Mannimarco didn't use his real name. I am starting to become very suspicious of him. Besides, it's actually pretty cozy here than I expected. I saw this pretty Nord lady named Alva Maiden-Loom. She was sweet to me and offered me free food. I said no thanks and she took it well.

After finishing breakfast Alva asked if we needed anything else. Mannimarco refused anymore service but I said, "Something for the road please". She replied with the sweetest tone I've ever heard except from mother, "Anything for you sweetie. Here's some spare bread." And she gave me a kiss on the cheek.
