Chapter 3 The crew
After untying Lucy, Luffy helped her onto her feet.
"Thanks." Lucy mumbled as she dusted off some invisible dirt.
"Well, time for introductions! I'm Monkey D. Luffy." he said with a wide grin.
"Nice to meet you, my name is Nico Robin." the black haired girl said.
"My name's Nami." the orange haired girl said.
"What up?! The name's Franky." said the so called cyborg.
"Zorro." the swordsman plainly said.
"My name is Sanji. The pleasure is mine." the blonde guy said.
"M-my name is...Usopp." long nose said, his legs still shaking.
"My name is Tony Tony Chopper." the reindeer said.
"Yo ho ho ho ho! And of course, my name is Brook." the skeleton said while lifting his top hat.
"Hehe. It's nice to meet you all." Lucy said nervously.
"Yay! It's time celebrate our new crew mate!" shouted Luffy.
Most of them cheered while the rest let out a few laughs. Brook began laying violin, Luffy and Usopp had mugs in their hands while dancing like idiot, Zorro and Sanji were just arguing with each other, and Chopper and Franky were dancing more stupidly than Luffy and Usopp. Nami and Robin stayed with Lucy.
"Wow. You guys are nothing like I expected." Lucy said while watching the group.
"Let me guess, you thought we were notorious ruthless pirates that would kill you if you got caught on board." said Nami.
"Well, kinda." said Lucy.
"Haha. Don't worry, after you get to know everyone, you'll learn that they can be the most reliable people on the planet." chuckled Robin. Lucy began to calm down and actually smiled at the two girls. Luffy then came running up to Lucy.
"Lucy, come on! Let's have some fun!" Luffy said while grabbing Lucy's wrist and pulling her down to the lower deck with the rest of them.
After first Lucy was surprised and wasn't planning on celebrating with the rest of the crew, but after looking at Luffy's and the others' smiling faces and how they were all having fun, she soon began to slowly start laughing and smiling herself. The two of them, Lucy and Luffy, danced and laughed together as the whole crew celebrated together. Lucy completely forgot that she just came here on a mission.
*Magnolia*
Back in Fiore, after finding out Lucy went on a S-class mission on her own, Team Natsu raced back to the guild to inform everyone of what happened.
"Master!" the whole team exclaimed after barging into the guild hall. Everyone in the guild put their attention on the frantic looking team.
"My children, what's wrong?" Master said as he sat on the bar counter. The whole team came running up to him.
"It's Lucy! She's gone!" said Wendy. That caught everyone's attention.
"What!? What do you mean she's gone?" asked Master.
"We found this note at that explains everything." Erza said while giving Master the note. Master read the note silently and after he finished reading it, his hands began trembling and he started clenching the paper tightly.
"What were you brats thinking!?" Master yelled at all of Team Natsu, who all shrunk in fear from his rage.
"Fairy Tail never leaves their family behind or alone because of their strength! If anything, we pull them along to help them grow! You should all be ashamed of yourselves." said Master. All of Team Natsu looked down in shame.
"Mira, go see which S-class job is missing." said Master.
"Yes sir." Mira said before heading up stairs. It was just a few moments later until everyone in the guild heard Mira scream in shock and slight horror. She came running back down the steps.
"Mira, what's wrong?!" Master asked.
"The mission she took...it was the one to capture Strawhat Luffy!" Mira exclaimed.
"WHAT!?" the whole guild shouted.
*With Lucy*
"Island dead ahead!" Zorro call out to everyone on the ship. Everyone, including Lucy, rushed to the front of the ship to see the island.
"Wow, I've never seen an island like that before." Lucy said.
"Really? You're saying you've never traveled on a ship?" asked Nami.
"Hehe. Well, I've been to one, but there was a small...incident, there." said Lucy referring to Galuna island and Deliora.
"I wonder what kind of food they have!" Luffy said excitedly.
"Is he always like this?" Lucy asked out loud while sweat dropping.
"Yes." everyone answered. After a while, they came ashore on the island where there was a small docking bay that appeared to be only able to hold four big ships at a time. The ship was quickly docked.
"Alright! Hey Lucy, let's go exploring together! I can tell you about all of the awesome stuff my crew and I have done!" Luffy said while grabbing Lucy's wrist before jumping off the ship, pulling Lucy behind him.
"Hey! Wait a minute! Luffy!" Lucy complained, but she was already being pulled behind Luffy as he ran off the ship into the jungle on the island.
"We probably should've warned her about him." said Usopp.
"Yep." everyone agreed. They all soon got off the ship and began to walk the way Luffy ran off with Luffy. In the jungle, Luffy was still pulling Lucy behind him, but she was now able to at least have her feet under her.
"Luffy, just where are we going?" asked Lucy.
"I have no idea. We're just exploring this place." Luffy answered, still running.
"So we're just running aimlessly around this island?!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Haha! Yep!" said Luffy.
"Oh boy." sighed Lucy.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Lucy thought.
