Chapter 7 Findings
(A/N: Hello peoples! As you can see, for you more previous readers, this story is getting a small rewrite. And for this, I want you guys to give me ideas for Devil Fruit ideas for Lucy! Just follow the only rule, no godly overpowered stuff! Comment any ideas! So for now, goodbye peoples!))
*Grand Line- Lucy*
After finding the snow island, it wasn't too long before the crew docked their ship near the best hidden and safe shoreline on the island. Everyone on the ship took some time to put on proper clothes to stay warm in the cold, more or less excluding Franky, as he never wears pants of any kind.
"Alright! Let's go check this place out!" Luffy shouted. But before he could run off, he felt a hand grab onto his shoulder. He looked over his shoulder and saw it was Lucy.
"Hold on Luffy. Before you run off again, I want to check something." Lucy said. Pulling Luffy back to stand with the rest of the crew on the side of the ship furthest to the shore, Lucy took a key off of her belt.
"OPEN GATE OF THE MAIDEN: VIRGO!" Lucy chanted.
A large gold magic circle appeared in front of the key, disappearing into a puff of smoke in a matter of seconds, revealing a pink haired girl in a maids outfit that had shackles around her wrists. By watching the simple spell done by Lucy, the entire crew looked at the new maid on the ship with looks of disbelief.
"You called Princess?" said Virgo, doing her typical bow. Instantly after Virgo spoke, the majority of the crew gathered around Lucy and her newly summoned spirit.
"NO WAY! That girl came out of nowhere!" Lucy exclaimed, his eyes glittering with amazement.
"Wh-what kind of power is that!?" said Nami, staying close behind Robin, who is as calm as usual.
"I knew it! She's a witch!" Usopp cried, Chopper holding onto his leg and shaking like a leaf.
"What? I said I could use magic, didn't I?...Oh, right. I haven't showed you guys until now." Lucy said, sheepishly scratching the back of her head.
"Princess, may I ask who these people are?" Virgo asked.
"Oh yeah. I never told you guys either. Well, these are the Strawhat pirates, Luffy, Zorro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook." answered Lucy, gesturing to each person as they were introduced.
"And why are you with them Princess?" asked Virgo.
"Well, I'll explain it to you and the others later. First, can you go see where the closest town is on the island?" Lucy said.
"As you wish." Virgo said. Jumping off the ship, Virgo took off at high speeds.
"Dang. I've never really seen her run before." Lucy said, watching Virgo run off into the distance.
"Lucy, why does she call you princess?" Robin asked, walking up behind Lucy.
"Oh, it's just something she does. She's just...formal that way." answered Lucy. Quickly losing track of time talking to the crew, Virgo soon came back to Lucy.
"Princess, there seems to be a village not too far to the east of the island." said Virgo, pointing in the direction.
"Thanks Virgo and tell the other spirits about my new crew mates for me." said Lucy before closing Virgo's gate.
"Well, that means we know where to head." Nami said.
The whole crew was finally able to leave the ship to head to the town. While walking, something managed to catch Lucy's eye. She quietly slipped away from her friends, heading towards the base of a nearby tree. There, she saw a very weird looking fruit. It was an ice blue color, had a diamond pattern on the outside, being the shape and size of a peach.
"Never seen this fruit before." Lucy mumbled. Out of curiosity, she picks it up. Just by holding it, Lucy could practically feel something strange emitting from the fruit, almost feeling drawn into biting it.
"Lucy!? Where'd you go!?" Luffy called out from the distance. Lucy snaps out of her quick trance and chooses to hold onto the fruit by shoving it into her coat.
"Sorry! I'm coming!" Lucy called back. Little did she know, that fruit was obviously no ordinary one...
Fairy Tail*
"You guys!" Warren shouted, barging into the guild.
"What is it Warren?" Erza asked.
"A key! I found one!" Warren said holding up a key. The entire guild almost seemed to roar back to life, surrounding him and Levy snatched the key to quickly look over it.
"He's right! This is one of the keys!" exclaimed Levy.
"Yes! Now we're even closer to finding Lucy." said Natsu.
"Good job Warren. Must've taken a lot of work." said Gray. Warren just smiled smugly as the other members of the guild practically praised him.
"Now, we all must work twice as hard to find this last key. When we do, we can finally bring Lucy home!" said Erza. The entire guild cheered.
*Grand Line- Lucy*
Lucy and the others finally reached the town after having to find Zorro and Luffy who managed to get lost at least several times.
"Finally food!" Luffy shouted. Lucy grabbed his collar before he could run off, yanking him to the ground.
"Hold on! Before anything, we have to find somewhere to meet up later." Lucy said. She walked over to a nearby villager and tapped their shoulder to get their attention, but before she could say anything, the villager just screamed and ran off.
"What was that about?" Nami said.
Suddenly, all of the wind around Lucy and the others started picking up, being strong enough to toss even the bigger rocks on the ground. Finally hearing was could only be described wings flapping, all of the crew members turned around to see a what could only be a wyvern with razor sharp teeth claws swooping down towards the town.
"Ahh! Monster!" Usopp cried, running in a panic alongside Chopper.
"Whoa! It's a dragon!" Luffy exclaimed.
The wyvern swoops down low before completely pulling up, creating a strong gust of wind, actually able to blow Lucy over and down to the ground. At the same time as Lucy fell, it made the mysterious fruit roll out to lay in front of her. Pushing herself to sit upright, Lucy slowly reaches out and picks up the fruit. Feeling another gust of wind, she looks over her shoulder to see all of her friends attempting to fight off the wyvern.
Looking back down at the fruit, she sees her hands covered in cuts and dirt. As the feeling of helplessness and weakness from the day she left Fairy Tail returned, Lucy looked at the fruit with a new fierce look in her eye, almost being able to tell that it would help her gain the strength she's wanted.
"This is so strange, but...Something about this fruit seems special...Pleas let that be true." Lucy thinks, taking in a deep breath before finally...
