22. An Author's Note

Hi, guys. I'm sorry for the chapter fake-out. I've just gotten some new reviews and messages lately, and I wanted to say YES, I will finish this story. If I don't, I'll never write anything else, because I can't leave this one undone. There is too much of people I love folded into it, and I owe it to them (and to you!) to finish.

I can talk vaguely about life getting in the way, but maybe "I'm adjusting to being a single mother of four" will say it best. I've been juggling four kids (in four different schools, so fun), and it's been challenging, to say the least. But the school year is running down, and this story is tap-tap-tapping at my window again.

If you've quit on this story, I don't blame you, and I'm sorry about it. If you're still with me, thank you. Thank you so much. It's more patience than any writer could ask for.

I can't claim to know what tomorrow holds, but I have faith in this story, and I will finish it. I hope you'll still be reading when I do.
