Chapter 4:
"We are all happy for the both if you. You both deserve to be happy." Zoisite told him.
"I know. And I thank you. And trust me I will do anything in this world to make her the moat happiest women in the world." He told his friend's.
As he was sitting there watching her move her body to the beat of the music. Thinking to himself, 'How did I ever get so lucky to find a beautiful women. That feels like she is broken on the inside. When she is far from it.' He got up from where their table and started to walking up behind Serena and wrapped his arms around her waist. Feeling her tense up. She slowly looked behind her. Realizing it was Darien behind her. And then she relaxed and started moving to the music as one.
Darien leaned down and whispered in her ear, "I am sorry, Love. I didn't mean to startle you. I couldn't see you dancing by yourself with the girl's. We came to have fun." Seeing her blush alittle with a smile on her lips.
The song came to an end. They heard the DJ come across the microphone, " Alright folks we are going to slow it down. This next one goes out to all of you couple's out there." The DJ started playing, Secrets by OneRepublic. Then the great of the guys joined everyone else out on the dance floor. As Darien was holding Serena close. Thinking to himself, 'How did I get so lucky to have a beautiful women in my arms. Why was it tell that day we met I have never felt like I never really needed or wanted someone. But from that moment I have wanted her close, and never let her go. When I am with her. I feel my world is complete. For the first time in my life I want her to know everything about me and all of my secrets. I don't want to hide anything from her.
Serena noticed Darien was deep in thought. Kinda wondering what he was thinking about. Lightly touching the side of his face. Which she could tell brought him out of his thoughts. "This song is exactly how I feel right at this moment." She told him.
"Oh? And what is the name of this song?" He answered with a puzzled look.
"Yeah. Secrets by OneRepublic. I want to give all my secrets away. But only to you." She told him.
"I see. I was just thinking the same thing myself." Looking in her eyes. "I don't want to hide anything from you. When I am with you my world feels complete for the first time. I don't feel like I am lost anymore." He told her while seeing her blush a second time tonight.
"Would it scare you?" She paused looking up at him. " that the feelings are the same for myself.
"Not at all." He told her as the song came to an end.
Both hearing the DJ, "Alright folks we are going to speed back up. But there will be more song's to come for ball of you couple's out there."
They stayed out on the dance floor. While Lita, Ami, Nephrite, and Zoisite walked back to the table. Sitting at the table watching their friends on the dance floor. Talking about how happy they are seeing two of their closest friends are together. Just at that moment they seen a man walking over to Serena and Darien. He was just about the same highth as Darien. But he has snow white hair and blue eyes.
He taped on Serena's shoulder looking at Darien, "May I cut in?" He asked them both.
"That's up to this beautiful women?" Darien answered looking from Serena and him. Feeling her tense up UN his arms again.
"I am sorry, Diamond. No. I am here with him." She answered as she pulled Darien's arm's closer around herself.
"It's only one dance?" Diamond said.
"Look Diamond. How many time am I going to have to tell you no. For you to understand that I don't want to. And that I am and never will be interested in dating or even being with you. Nowvifvyou will excuse us. Darien would you like to get something to drink?" She asked him.
"Yes, I would Beautiful." Darien answered her leading her off the dance floor over to where some of their friends are sitting.
"Thank you." She told him when they got back to the table.
"Your welcome." He said sitting down next to her.
"Was that Diamond?" Asked Lita.
"Yes. I really wish he would get the clue that I am not interested in him. There is someone I am interested in." She said looking at Lita pulling Darien closer to herself.
"I know. Let's hope him seeing you happy with someone will get it threw his head. But I have a feeling it's only going to make him fight even more harder for what he cannot have." Lita told her.
"And I can tell you. He is fighting a losing battle." They all heard Darien say.
Sitting at another table Diamond was able to keep an eye on Serena. And their every move. Getting even more pissed when he noticed her pull him closer to her. Thinking to himself, 'One way or another Serena. My dear you will be mine. I will make you fall in love with me.'
"That he maybe. But he has been trying to getwen to date him since we were in hight school. I have lost count how many times I have said no to him. I always get a weird feeling when he is around me." Serena told Darien.
"What kinda weird feeling is it? If you don't mind me asking." He asked her.
"Its kinda hard to explain. But you know how you would feel in a situation of being scared, fear, unsafe all at once. That's kinda how it feels." She told him.
"I see. May I ask how do you feel when I am around you?" He asked her.
"Safe, happy, protected, like my heart was never broken to start with. I feel like nothing can or hurt me. That no matter what is happening. That I will never feel lonely again." She told him.
"Well. I can tell you this. I will do whatever I can to always keep you safe. And whatever I have to make it where you will never feel your heart break again." He told her.
"Are we still on for tomorrow, Serena?" Asked Ami.
"Yes." Serena answered her.
"Where are we all meeting up at for movies and hanging out? Asked Ami.
"I believe at my place." She said.
"Ok." Ami answered back.
"Go head an let yourself 's in the morning. Since you girl's have an extra keys." She told Ami.
"Are you sure? We don't want to feel like we are invading you privisey." Asked Ami.
"I am sure. You know I am not a big morning person on the weekend's." She told her.
"True." Aim said.
"Well I am ready to go home." Serena told the girl's.
"Are you sure?" Asked Ryi.
"Yeah. I kinda am not feeling my at the moment. We all know I don't drink much. And I know I have reached my limit." She answered Ryi.
"Ok. We will see you in the morning, girl. Text to let us know you are home." Said Lita.
"I will." She told Lita. "Darien, Do you mind taking me home?" She asked.
"Not at all. Whenever your ready." He told her.
"I am ready." She told him.
They said goodnight to everyone before leaving. Once they got to Darien's car. He opened the door for her. Then walked around to the driver side. Then he climb in and started the car and pulled out of the parking lit heading to Serena's place.
"Did you have fun tonight?" He asked her.
"Yes, I did. Thank you for coming with us. Did you have fun yourself too?" She asked.
"Your welcome. And yeah I did." He answered her as they pulled up to her place.
He turned the car off. Got out cane around to let her out and walked her to the door. "Do you want to come in for alittle bit?" She asked him.
"Sure. But I don't want to keep you up to late." He told her.
"Ok." She said. "Can I get you anything to drink?"
"Sure. What do you have?" He asked as he closed her door behind them.
"I have soda, water, and sweet tea." She told him.
"I'll take a glass of sweet tea." He answered.
"Ok. I'll meet you in the living room." She told him as she walked into her kitchen.
As Serena walked into the kitchen to get them something to drink. She text Lita to let her know she was home safe. Then she walked back into the living room with two glass of sweet tea. Sitting them both down on the coffee table in front of her couch.
"Would you like to watch a movies or something?" She asked as she Sat down next to Darien.
"Sure." He answered.
Turning on her tv. "If there is something you want to watch just let me know." She said while pulling up her tv guide.
"Ok. That's a good movie. Have you seen Ella Enchanded?" He asked her.
"Sure." He said.
"Ok." She said as she pushed the ok button. Then put the remotes on the table in front of them. Then sat back.
She didn't notice Darien put his arm on the back of the coutch. Tell she had sat back. Then he pulled her close to watch the movie together. About 45 minutes into the movie Darien noticed Serena had fallen asleep. On his chest. Moving just brought to get the remote to turn off the tv. Picked her up in the bridal position and taking her to her room. He gently placed her on her queen size bed. She pulled him onto the bed with her.
In her sleep, "Please stay?" He played down next to her. He had planned on staying tell she was totally asleep. Before he known he had fallen asleep next to her.
The next morning. As the girl's where walking up to Serena's place. They noticed Darien's Red 1969 Mustang was still in her drive way. All the girl's looked at each other.
"I still have my key to her place. Let's step in as quit as we can to not wake them." Roy was the first to say anything.
"Ryi's right. And I'll make breakfast for ball of us." Lita said as they walked up to the front door.
As they opened the front door they seen Luna coming out of Serena's room. Shevwalked into the kitchen with the girl's and Artumis be fire she said anything.
"Who is he?" Luna asked. "Its not like her to being a man home with her after going out fortune night. She and I have not talked much. With her school and everything right now."
"His name is Darien. He is a good person. He is bestfriend's with Andrew, Jedeite, Nephrite, Kunzite, and Zoisite." Mona answered Luna.
"I see." Luna answered.
Darien had been watching Serena sleep for about 20 minutes now. Thinking to himself, 'i could wake up like this every morning. And not think twice about it. What man in his right mind would not want to wake up next to this beautiful women.' Lost in his thoughts Serena started to stir. Bring Darien out of his thoughts.
"Good morning, my princess." He said before kissing her forehead.
"Mmm... Good Morning, my Prince." She said with a big grine on her face. Moving her arm across his chest to rest her chaining. "How did you sleep?"
"Wonderful. Best sleep I have had in a long time. And how did you sleep?" He asked her.
"Like a baby." She said with a giggle. Hearing alittle bit of movement in her kitchen. "Are you hungry?" She asked.
"Yes. And yourself?" He asked.
"Yes, I am. I wonder what Lita has made. I hope she doesn't mind and extra person." She told him.
"Well good morning Sleeping Beauty and Prince Charming." Said Lita. "Breakfast is almost done. Have a sit. And there is coffee made if you want any."
"That's great." Darien said. "Would anyone else like a cup or a refill?"
"I'll take a cup with cream and usher." Serena said.
"Nah. We are good." The other girls said.
"Ok." He said as he was pouring himself and Serena's cups.
"Breakfast is ready." Lita said as she was putting everything on the table. "We have Frenshtoast, Choloclate Chip Pancakes, eggs, hashbrown's, ham. and suged. Everyone's enjoy."
Everyone passed food around placing some on each of their plates. Sitting went Serena at the head of the table, with Darien to her left, and Lita to her right. Next to Darien was Ami, and Ryi, across from Serena, and Mina in between Ryi and Lita.
Taking couple of bits alittle of everything. "Wow, Lita. I am not sure whee you learned to cook. But it's good." Darien said.
"Well thank you. Its nothing. I always seem to make brought to feed an army." She said with a giggle.
"There is nothing wrong with that." He told her.
"True." She said.
"So what are you girl's plans for the day?" Darien asked the group of girls.
"Movies, shopping, maybe a picnic at the park with how beautiful it has been." Answered Mina looking over at Serena. "Unless you plan on either joining us or stealing our little Miss Serena from us?"
"Who knows I may just do both?" He answered with a devilish grin while looking at Serena.
"Now guys don't I have a say in all of this." Asked Serena.
"Maybe!" Answered the four girls together.
"If I may say it is all up to Serena. What a he wants to do. I am not forcing her to do anything she doesn't want to do." He told the group.
"Thank you, Darien. Yes, I want to spend time with all of you." Serena told the group.
"I have an idea?" Darien said.
"Ok?" Asked Serena.
"How about I meet up with you and the girl's for lunch at the park. You can text or call me to let me know where I can meet you all. Are the other guys going to be there?" Said Darien.
"Yes." Answered Lita.
"Ok." He answered.
"Sounds food to me." Serena said to Darien as they where walking to the front door.
She started to open the door. Stepped out on hee front porch. "I'll see later today then." Serena said as she went up on her up toes to give him a kiss.
"That's you will." He said as he lean down to give her a kiss.
After saying their goodbye's to each other a he walked back inside to get ready for the day. Walking back into the kitchen.
"So... Spill what happened last night after you you two left the club?" Asked Ryi. As the rest of the girl's nodded their heads.
"You are all my bestfriend's and also like sister's to me. But you know a girl never kiss and tells." She told them walking out of her kitchen to go an shower and get ready for the day.
A/N: I am sorry it had taken so long to get this chapter posted. I have not had my laptop for the last couple of months. But I just figure out that I can use my cell phone to post. I am still working on chapter 5. I hope to have it post soon. Please review and let me know what all of you think so far. I am always up for ideas to help this story along.
