Chapter 7:

"I am not sure what I just missed between you and the girl's. But just to let you know I will try to do everything in my power to fix and heal your broken heart. It was not fair or even right what he has done and put you threw. I can see how much your friends care and love you. And how much they mean to you as well. And I hope and pray that one day in the future, you can trust me as much as you do with them and more. Like I said the other day. We will take this as slow as you want or need. I am not going anywhere anytime soon. I am not saying this to scare you, Serena. But I am saying this to be honest with you. And that you also know how I feel and where I stand. I will wait as long as it takes to earn and have a relationship with you. I am always here if you ever need me too." He told her in a low tone almost a whisper.

"Thank you, Darien. That mean's a;ot to me to hear you say that. Yes, the girl's do mean a lot to me. They are like my sister's I never got to have. I feel like if they hadn't been there to help me threw alot of thing I have been threw since I have met each and everyone of them. I honestly don't know or can say where my life would be these days without them. And I know withtime we will be as close. And once again, thank you for respecting my wish's and feeling's too. And maybe the girl's are right. That it is time to start dating again. Cause for the first time in almost two years. I feel like my heart is in good hands. On top of that I feel protected and safe. And for the first time in a long time I feel alive when I am with you." She told him.

"Your welcome. That makes me happy to hear you say that. Cause I do know how it feels to deal with a broken heart. If it had not been for all of the guys. I don't know where my life would have been myself." He told her as he hugged her from behind her. "But thanks to the guy's and the girl's they have helped me see light in my life. They gave me you. And maybe it's time for both of us to start dating again. And if you are and when you are ready to take that step. I hope we can take that step together."

"To be honest since you and I have met. I personaly was not sure if I was even ready to start dating again. But there is something about you that is special. That makes me want to open my heart and let you in. You, the guy's and the girl's have helped and showed me I still can and I can honestly say I feel like you would never hurt me. I am not sure at this moment how I know this. But I can say I feel it here." As she placed on hand over her heart and the other hand over his.

Darien placed one of his hands on top of her's and the other one gentlely pull her's to his lips. "I would break my own heart before I would or could ever hurt you." He told her before kissing her fingers.

As he was doing this it felt like to Serena. He was sealing his promise with a kiss. That no matter what he will do everything he can in his power to never break her heart or hurt her in anyway posible. And that he will alwaysbe there by her side as long as she want's him there. Just in that one act she could feel her heart filling with hope, joy, and love. Which was something she had not felt almost two years. As she slowly pulled her hand away. She started to lean into his brace to replace her hand with her own lips. making a silent promise to protect his heart as well. From that day foward they would never be lonley. They would alawys have each other.

As the rest of the group watch what was happening between their best friend's. They all could feel the different's in the air about the two. And also their ora's are slowly becoming as one. Mina has had a special gift to where she can see people's soulmate's. But it was not tell that very moment. She had seen that Darien and Serena are soulmate's. She could always see the gold chain that connected souldmate' together. At that every moment she could see their's. Just like she had with all the other girl's. She now understands why she couldn't see Serena's. Cause she had not met him yet. Tell that day. "She has finally found her other half of her, her soulmate." Mina said softly to the rest of the group. They all looked at her then to the couple infront of them.

"Are you for sure?" Asked Ryi looking at Serena and Darien which seemed to be off in their own little world.

"Yes. With all of my heart. I am. Remember the gold chain I told you I see between Jedite's and your with the rest of you girl's. I can now see Darien's and her's." Mina answerred Ryi.

"Yes. I do remember that day. But what I don't understand. Is why can you see it now. And not before?" Asked Ryi.

"I feel it was there from the start. But I couldn't see or feel it. Iam not sure why thou. The only thing I can think of is. They made a promise to each other with their heart's. Which is why now I can see the gold chain that connects their heart's and soul's together." Answered Mina.

"So if I am understanding you right. Serena and Dairen have found their soulmates. Which is each other. But how is it that you couldn't see it tell now. That's what I don't understand." Asked Lita.

"The easiest way for me to explain this. Is Serena has opened her heart and soul upto someone else. Besides us girl's. So she can finish the healing she needs. For her to finish moving on and starting a new chapter in her life." Answered Mina.

"Oh." Answered all of the girl's now understanding what just happened with their friend's.

"It's just that I am not sure if I should say something or wait tell a later time?" Mina asked them.

"I personally would wait. Cause we are not sure if they are a couple or if they are just testing the water's with each other at this moment. I would wait tell we all know for sure where they both stand with each other and their feelings are too." Answered Zoisite.

"I think your right. I don't want to scare them." Answered Mina.

Both Darien and Serena kinda listening to what their friend's was talking about. Serena looked upto Darien's face with a new look in her eyes. That Darien was mirroring himself. They both looked back at their friend's. Both of them aalready knowing where they stand and how they feel about each other. they are ready to inform their friend's about them and their feelings. "Mina, what do you mean you don't want to scare them?" asked Serena.

"It's nothing to worry about." She answeerd.

"Come on, Mina. Spit it out." Serena told her.

"I'm sure we can handle it." Darien told her.

"Ok. Serena, you know how I have a special gift?" Asked Mina.

"Yes. Where you can see a person's soulmate. And they are connected by a gold chain..." She paused as she realize what Mina was going to say next. She looked at Darien. Then back to Mina. As Mina was nodding her head to comfurm what Mina was trying to tell her. As she lead into Darien's arms to let it sink in for a moment.

"Are you ok, Beautiful?" Darien wgispered into Serena's ear.

"Yes. It has always been my dreams to find the one person I was ment for. And now I have found you. I am and will not let you go. I hope I am not scaring you with this cofession. There has been one thing I have not conpletly honest with for the both of us. More myslef then with you. But it's time for me to be completly honest with myself. You and everyone else." She said as she answered him looking at the girl's.

"And that would be, Sweetheart?" He asked her with a confused look on his face.

"To start, yes. I am ready to take this to the next step with you. And the night you saved me from gettting hit by that car. I have been deniying it to myself. As of this moment I cannot let myself hide it anymore. I felt it that night. But was scared cause I didn't want to get hurt again. And I know now that you couldn't hurt me." She told him.

"It doesn't scare me one bit at all. Because you where not the only one feeling this way too. As I have promised you. I would break my own heart, before I would or could ever hurt you. And I ment every word that I said with all of my heart and soul. Cause from that night and evey moment since that night I have been falling more in love with you. And the reason why I have been trying to find the right words to tell you this. Without scaring you." He told her and their friend's as he kissed her right temple.

"Well that was easier then I thought it was going to be." Mina said with a giggle. And they all started to leagh with her.

"MINA!" All three girl's said at the same time.

"Come on, girl's. Let her be." Serena said to them.

"So..." Asked the group of friend's.

"We are a couple." Serena to their friend's. As Darien and her laced their fingers together as he brought his arms around her waist.

The group didn't notice someone was ssitting in the shade of the zibo listening to everything they have been talking about. 'We'll see about that.' Diamond thought to himself. Hating the fact that Darien has his arms around his Serena. "I will make you mine one way or another." He said to himself as he imagend that it was his arms around her. Not Him. As he pulled out his phone and started to text his sister, Beryal about the news he just found out about her sweet beloved Darien is now dating.

'You will not believe who your sweet beloved Darien just started dating...' Then he closed his phone and waited for her to reply back to him.

Thankfully he didn't have to wait long for her to answer him back. 'WHAT? Who is the little BICTH? WHERRE ARE THEY AT?' Rolling his eyes and answered her back: 'They are at the park across the from the Mall. And she IS NOT A LITTLE BITCH. I DON'T WANT TO EVER HEAR YOU CALL ER THAT AGAIN. Cause that asshole you are so far in love with stole My Sweet Serena from me.' he answered her.

'I don't understand why you are so much in love with that little twitt. When you can do so much better.' She replayed.

"I don't want to hear it from you., Beryla. I could say the same thing to you. I don't care about what you think or feel about her. How do you suppost we go about breaking them up?' He asked her.

'I have an idea. Meet me at the mall doors next to the park. I'm all most there.' Reading her text and started heading to where she told him to meet her. As he was putting his phone in his pocket. And started to walk to the doors. He leand up against the wall waitting for her to show up. he had waited about 10 mintues at the most as he seen her pulll into a parking spot with her 2016 Dodge Viper. He then watched her climb out of her car. And start to walk over to him.

"So... What is your plan?" Diamond aaasked her as she was walking upto him.

"You'll see. Now where are they at?" She asked him.

"This way." He told her pushing himself off of the wall he was leaning on. And started to walk over to where he last had seen them at.

Back at the zibo the group of friend's had been talking about waht they all had planed for the rest of the day. Ryi and Jedite noticed two people walking upto the zibo. Both looking at each other then to everyone else. Hoping someone else noticed them too. "This is not going to be good. why does he have to show up now. And Who is that women with him?" Asked Ryi.

"That Devil women with him is Beryla. She is one of Darien's ex-girlfriend'sBut she has it in her head that they are going to get back togther or are still together. Not real sure. She is the reason why he has a hard time dating. Cause the moment she finds out he is seeing someone else then her, she runs them off. The last one she ran off was lamost 6 months ago. Who is he?" Asked Jedite, remeber what Beryla had done to Darien. But also noticed how Diamond was looking at Serena. And not liking the look in his eyes.

" His name is Diamond. He is obsested with Serena. Is she the one you told me about. The one Ddarien found sleeping with everyone?" Asked Ryi.

"Yes. She ripped out his heart..." Jedite told her.

"Darien darling. There you are. I have been trying to get hold of you." Beryla said as she walked upto the step of the zibo. And not noticing how everyone was looking at her.

"I have told you before Beryla to stop calling me that. And that we have been over for a while now. What do you want?" Darien asked her.

"To see you and if you whould like to spend some time togther and maybe do something with adult?" She asked him.

"How many times do AI have to tell you no. To aso stop contacting me. That we will never get back together. You burnt that bridge a long time ago. When I found you in our bed with not just our landlord, but also the neibor at the same time. Sorry I don't want to feel my heart being ripped out again. Once is enough for me. Thank you very much." He told Beryla.

Serena noticed Diamond was standing just alittle behind Beryla. She tucked herself futher into Darien's side to help keep herslef calm.

Beryla noticed how close Serena was to Darien'sside. Not liking that serena was so close to her man. "Well this is a suprice. Look here Diamond, look who is also here too?" Beryla said to Diamond.

Diamond stepped around Beryla enough to see Serena standing in Darien's arms. "Well hello, My Sweet Serena. How are you doing?" Diamond asked noticing how close they where standing next to each other.

"I have told you to many time to stop calling me that. I never will be that. Was doing wonderful. Tell you and who ever she is showed up." Serena said to Diamond.

"Don't be like that, Lover. This is my Sister Beryla." He told her.

"Diamond you need help if you think I would ever let you touch me. Or that I be in a relationship with you. Now if you and your sister are done. I would like to get back to enjoying my day with my friends and my boyfriend." She told Diamond.

"And who are you dating?" He asked her with a look of hurt on his face.

"That is not any of your businessof who I am seeing, Diamond."She told him with a snip in her vioce.

"Yes it is when you are mine." He told her threw his teeth.

"I think that's enough. She asked you both to leave." Darien said to Diamond and Beryla.

"And who is asking you anyway?" Asked Diamond said.

"Nobody did. But I willn't sit here and keep letting you talk to my girlfriend like you own her. Now I am asking one more time nicely for the both of you to leave. He said.

"This is an open park. We are not leaving." Diamond told hi, in a flat tone with a hint of angrer.

"Can we leave, Babe? I don't want to be here anymore. We can go somewhere else." Serena asked Darien softly enough for only him to hear her.

"Yes, we can love. Guys we will call you later." Darien said feeling how upset Serena was getting. They staarted to walk down the couple of steps that lead to the path to where Darien had parked his car. As Serena was walking by Beryla, "We'll see how long you stay around."

"Don't let her get to you, Love." Darien told Serena when they where away from the group and unwanted guest's.

"Ok. Thank you for standing upto Diamond for me. I have lost count how many times I have turned him down. And he still keeps trying. I don't know what it will take for him to get that. He has been trying since we where in High School." She told him as they walk to his car.

"I see. I am sorry he doesn't set that you are not intrested in him. I wish I could get Beryla to understand that we are never getting back together. And that she would leave me alone and move on with her own life. Like I have." Darien told Serena.

"If you don't want to talk about what happened between you and Beryla I will understand. What did happen between you and Beryla? If you don't mind me asking." Serena asked as they walked up next to Darien's 1963 Candy Red Corvette.

As Darien pulled out his keys to unlock his car. Opened the door for her like a gentleman does for his lady. He walked around the front of his car and climb in the driver side. Started the car. Pulled into the traffic. "It's fine, love. I have nothing to hide for you. We dated about two years ago. It was our 6 month aniversay. I came home early to suprice her and take her out for dinner. Not knowing what I was walking into. I opened our appartment door. Before I could even let her know I was home. I heard some nosie coming from our bedroom. I walked to her and mine bedroom to see what was going on. That's when I found her with not just one guy. But two. One was the guy that lived across the hall from us. And the other one was our landlords son in our bed. She didn't expet me to come home early that day. It always makes me wonder how long had it all been going on before that day. I threw her out that same day." He told her as they came to a red light.

"I am truely sorry you found out like that, Love. " She told him as the light turned green again.

"So. Where would you like to go, Beautiful?" He asked her as they started moving again.

"Anywhere. As long as it's away from the park and I am with you." She answered him.

"Do you like Flower's?" He asked her.

"Yes?" She answered him questionly.

"Then I know of the perfect place. If you would like to go, Love?" He asked her with a smile.

"And can I ask where that is?" She asked him.

"It's a special place to me. It's also a suprice. I have a strong feeling that you will love it." He told her. As they started to heading to the place where Darien has always felt the most peaceful place for him. On their way there. Darien turned on his radio to help calm both of them down on their way to where Darien planned to take them. He noticed one of his favorite songs was playing softly in the background of his car. So he turned up the radio. But not to loud so they could contuine talking if they wanted too. Serena was sitting in the passager seat. Thinking about what Darien told her. When she noticed the song playing on the radio is one of many favorite songs from Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, and Kieth Urban. They both started to sing along with the song. Not caring what the other drivers thought when they would pass them as they are both sing the song together. They are enjoying the time they are spending togther. As Darien listening to the song and to Serena sing along. And couldn't help but noticed how beautiful she was and how beautiful her voice is. And that he has gotten to hear it for the second time today. The more he started to hear her voice he was falling more in love with her. Just as the song was coming to an end. They had pulled up to the suprice he had for her.
