Girls Day Out
"You need to focus your mind more, you are barely making use of the power contained within"
"I am trying to..."
"Try harder then... Focus more, Although you thought of her attacks the first night as nothing they were just warning shots made to be detected. She could easily have beaten you as you are now. If you are to master our powers and protect her you need to be stronger!"
"I know that! But it's pretty hard to focus when you keep talking to me and I know I need to be stronger you don't need to tell me that. When she wakes up I'll make sure nothing happens to her again you understand me!"
Marshall and Fionna watched in on their son from a distance as he sat in the woods meditating and talking to himself. After what is being called "The awakening" of Wizard City Hunter had been talking to himself constantly and then had run off to a spot in the woods and buried something. Marshall had followed him extremely worried that Hunter had lost his mind after seeing someone he cared for so much die. He called Fionna once Hunter had settled into the woodland and the two had been watching ever since.
"Fi... like whats he doing?" Marshall asked confused. He had happily taken the idea of being a parent to heart but now was worried he was in over his head.
"I don't know... the only time I've seen anyone like that was Simone when she had particularly bad days... but he doesn't have any crown or magical what not?" She replied baffled.
"...Wait... i think he picked up something from that tree... It was about the size of an apple with an arrow on it"
"Could that be Huntress' magic source? If it was it could mean that he now has the crazy part of it... Should we call up the lightbulb?"
"Nahh we can't... Lumen still hasn't woken up and Hope's busy healing him... Plus do you really wanna ask Marcy for the lightbulb at the moment... you should have heard her once she heard he'd done something dumb again..." Both Marshall and Fionna shuddered remembering the look in her eye as she had turned back into a batform and flew off towards the Shade Kingdom after Hope and Lumen.
"Wait.. Fi.. You go get Marcy, Bonnie and grab Phoebes too and then head to Wizard City. Try talking to those who are still around after the awakening and see if they know anything about Huntress' Magic Powers. While your at it try to get Aunty Faith to contact me see as soon as possible"
"What are you planning Marshy? and Aunty?"
"Yeah she... she likes me to call her that and its nice... Like I know Marcy has her parents, her adopted parents and both her little siblings now but I still feel like a spare part really but Faith insisted that I am family and if I didn't wanna be like a son to her what about being like a nephew... Its complicated but I don't mind..." Fionna lent over and gave Marshall a hug and a kiss on the forehead. She knew that matters like that must have been hard for him. It had been hard for them all. Unlike Phoenix who got a new chance with his own past turned away Marshall had still lost his real parents, Simone was back but it wasn't because of him and this left him with a lot of guilt and feelings of being weak.
"Anyway... I want you and the girls to investigate her powers as it may be that they could be useful and she seemed more sane than most wizards so it could be that theres not much risk. I want you to take Phoebes as she has experience with these sort of evil presences, Marcy because I think she could use some answers and will give Lumen a chance to recover and Bonnie-"
"-Because she's mad smart right?"
"Right Fi."
"What do you need Faith for then?"
"I need her to open a portal to talk to Simone, I want her to try to track down Hunter Wizard. I want to know if he died too like was predicted for Huntress or if he's still alive if he can be useful."
"Wow Marshy... I'm surprised... Inside that big head of yours there really is a brain that thinks stuff up... and what you gonna be doing?"
"So mean my little bunny, I'm also mad smart just... I use it for cool things unlike the Gumwad trio and I'm going to be watching Hunter and trying to talk to him." The pair looked back at their son and then Fionna headed off towards the Fire Kingdom since it was closest.
Marshall went over to where his son was sitting and hovered beside him. He was too into the meditating to notice.
"To let you know your father is beside us with a mind full of worry and doubt"
"...Did you do this for Huntress too? Like updates and stuff?"
"No... But when we are rejoined we would like for it to be different. Before we constantly tempted her with our power hoping she would give in and lose herself to it. We hoped that with that our existence would be a certainty but after watching her grow from start to end and what your existence did when it crossed hers... We.. I think it would be best if things were different."
"That's good... Change is good... you said 'I' there instead of 'we'?"
"We are a collection of powers gained and lost by previous hosts of our power, it's like we take the good and leave to find a better host with more to gain... As the last host I am the voice of our power and I'd like for it to be different to her. Rather than a parasite of the mind I would like for us to be a companion and strength she can rely on. That... would be nice. Now please put your fathers mind at rest as I'm sure if you do not they are sure to call one of the Shade Royals to exorcise me from you."
"Okay okay... but we need to give you a name".
Candy Kingdom - Bonnie, Marcy, Phoebe and Fionna
Bonnie stared at the others in silence processing everything she had just heard.
"So... Lumen put on his crown which drove him to be a giant dark entity sucking monster that ravaged Wizard City causing chaos, destruction and death to what appears to be a weird cult. Huntress who happened to be there turned into a giant tree that sealed him till Hope healed him which is now being called the Awakening by all the now sane Wizards... and now you want us to go to Wizard City and track down information on Huntress Wizard because your son from the future is now in the woods meditating talking to himself which Marshall believes to be the power that belonged to her while we wait for either Hope or Lumen to be free to heal him since Bella is still AWOL... that about it?" The three others stared back after hearing a load of craziness and unbelievable stuff summed up like it was an everyday thing for them... then it dawned on them all... this was everyday for them.
"Basically yes, Marshy wants us to check it out while he sees how Hunters doing. He seems to have this weird idea that maybe this isn't a dark entity and it can be useful."
"Wait Marshall thinks that? How? After everything with Simone he should be the first one wanting that from his son, I know I would if it was Hope. I'm still not impressed that just being a dark/light elemental comes with voices itself so I can't see how Hunter having them could be a good thing." Marceline questioned.
"I don't know... I had an entity inside me for most of my life and that was only sealed and healed thanks to our shady time travelling pervert. I can't see how this could be a good thing but mine wasn't one that could be of any use to me." Phoebe added.
"Listen girls I don't really know but it's Marshall's idea and I trust him more than my own heart. I have a feeling that the reason he rounded you gals up wasn't really for investigating but for me to have the most OP awesome team of femrulers as bodyguards since he's worried over me being pregnant. I know he wouldn't do anything that would put Hunter in harms way so please trust me." Bonnie, Marceline and Phoebe looked at each other after hearing Fionna's plea and nodded.
"Well I was hoping to look into magic more now that the wizards are sane, might finally be able to prove it's scientific origin."
"Yeah BonBons got a point, I might be able to find out more about power control which could help Si and Bett's with my baby bro."
"And... we've never had a girls day out before..." Phoebe added quietly. The others all smiled at the comment and instantly lost sight of their original objective. Taking into the account one of them was a gender-bender from a different world, two hadn't been on talking terms since Bonnie was obsessed with never leaving her behind and the other had been kept away from all of them and led to believe her imprisonment was caused by one of the others... they had never had an occasion to just go all girl out... now they did.
Shade Kingdom - Lumen, Hope, ? and ?
Lumen sat up in his bed and looked around the room. He was sure that Marceline would be waiting to scold him. He looked under the bed and inside the cabinet. Behind the mirror Leaden had given him and behind the curtains. He was still looking for her when Hope walked in to see her father looking into a collection of vases he had on a shelf.
"She's not here Dad, she went with Aunty Fi to go run an errand for Uncle Marshy. So you can stop looking and she did tell me to let you know you're in big big trouble" She floated over to his lap as he took a seat on the bed. Lumen let out a big sigh, which was a mix of relief and regret.
"What happened while I was under the crowns influence?" He asked Hope. She explained about his giant form and everything that happened from the Awakening to the death of Huntress Wizard.
"Oh my glob... I've really dorked this up bad... I can't believe shes dead because of me..."
"Well I wouldn't say because of you and I wouldn't say dead. She's just been put in a state of healing for a period of time and although it is basically ALL your fault the boy did come here asking for your help so it's not exactly all of your fault... even though it is." Lumen put his hand to his head fully understanding that the voice he just heard was the voice of the crown. He was fully ready to break down when Hope spoke.
"Daddy... what was that voice just now?..."
"You can hear it too?"
"Of course she can hear me, She is a powerful and promising child of royal blood for this kingdom. It's to be expected that anyone with significant powers similar to your own should also be able to hear me. Like your sister, a few of those 'future children', the Royals of most lands and maybe your scary wife."
"My scary wife?"
"Yes the wicked demon who dare strike the ruler of the Shade Kingdom, total lacking in respect for a Queen and someone who should remember the price of playing around with Shade powers!"
"Daddy... seriously who is this voice and why is he being a jerk about Mummy?"
"Hope dear this is the voice of the crown, it's who I was talking to when I was that beast. He knows a lot about the darkness, which reminds me I have a lot of catching people up to do, and now it seems he can talk out of thin air... also how do you know Marcy?"
"I'm not talking out of thin air my Prince, You said that you wouldn't wear me because we were weird, creepy and lame. So look at your wrist, I'm now a fashionable accessory that you should be okay with wearing and our voice comes from there and this 'Marcy' once broke into this Kingdom with her friends and stole this crown as a joke, she returned it a few days later but did not even seem to notice what she had done or where she was. I think the wizard she was with at the time seemed to have used some form of memory magic to remove the bad parts of their past together" Lumen and Hope looked at each other both instantly believing the crowns words and agreeing that they made a lot of sense. Although Lumen had both a twinge of anger and guilt. Angry because of Marcy's seemingly jerk ex and guilty because he had also removed her memory twice before.
"So since your going to be staying around... do you have a name?"
"A name... well that's new... I've never been asked that one before... I don't know if I do have one?"
"What about ghost? Since you can only be heard and not seen and you know about a lot of old stuff?" Hope suggested innocently.
"If that is the Princess' suggestion I will take heed and I must say I do like the sound of it... Ghost..."
"So Ghost Dusk... Royal Crown/Bracelet guardian"
"My lord please do not use the royal name with my own I am nothing more than a tool from the past to protect the future!"
"Dude chill, your going to be with me all the time and you've been with this kingdom from the start so you deserve it as much as anyone plus you can't just have a first name... and do you really want to tell her that it's not good enough?" Lumen looked down at Hope who was cheering about getting a new Uncle. She suddenly stopped and looked at the Bracelet.
"Uncle Ghost... Does your voice have anything to do with the voices I hear?.." Silence fell upon the room as everyone considered the possibility. The first to speak was Ghost.
"As Royal Guardian of the Shade Kingdom I command you to speak to the Royals whose lives have been troubled by your actions." Silence once again fell as they waited and then out of no where a similar bracelet appeared on Hope arm and a voice appeared.
"Finally... A medium to speak with I thought I'd never be heard other than by Hope and she seems to think I'm scary..."
"Who are you and why are you like Ghost and attached to Hope?"
"Whoa... so in this timeline you chose to actually wear that old crown... damn bet that sucked. I'm like 'Ghost' as you called him but different. When you didn't wear the crown and it was apparent that something was going to occur which would put the Princess Royal in harms way our old Ghosty over there split the power of the royal crown thus creating me. He send the power to Hope. You believing that the voices is a shade thing was actually wrong. The previous shade royals heard the voices as they wore the crown, you heard them as you were the owner and it was the crown reaching out for you and she heard them as the crown was trying to reach out to her to make her stronger... so I'm like the son of Ghost who exists not to serve the Shade Kingdom or you Shade King but to serve the Princess Royal herself."
"...If you were trying to help me then why were you always so mean and scary..." Hope asked confused. She had to go through a lot of pain because of this voice and wasn't happy now it was being talkative.
"Well that was cause I was trying to reach out to you, I tried to use your demonic side to talk to you but your more Shade than Demon so unlike Hunter you don't have great control over that demon side other than Physical abilities. So what you heard was demonic whispers... which my bad I did cause but only because I was trying to talk to you. When I saw old Ghost over their becoming a bracelet and speaking through it like a medium I figured... Hey I can do that too so here we are"
"Though the fool is rude he appears to be telling the truth, we can trust his words for now My Lord."
"Thanks Ghost, Now if that's true why did the voices stop for her once she came and spoke to me in the future?"
"Dude if you found out you were causing a little girl to cry, have night terrors and lead to the sort of relationship crisis that it did do you think you'd perk up especially when you're meant to be her aid and support. I shut up till I knew I could be heard.. which is now... so hey... sup"
"Is that all you can say! After what you-"
"Daddy its okay... I understand now please don't worry he was only trying to be helpful but couldn't be heard... and I got stronger because of that fear and the stuff with Light is sorted now. So Mr... Ghoul.. I can hear you now what is it you wanted to say...?" Lumen watched his daughter with pride. Privately inside his mind he could hear Ghost moaning about being called old by his so called son and he began to wonder what Hope meant by the Light stuff.
"Ghoul... nice I get the theme going on there. Ghoul Dusk at your service Princess. I just wanted to say Hi like do you know how boring it is to be never heard or spoken to... Like mega boring I'll tell ya'. Other than that I'm here to help you control your powers better, Amplify them and help you grow into the strongest lil' monster that this land has ever seen. Like so tot's gonna be the most Badass chick that ever was."
"...You speak really weird Ghoul... but Hello to you too" Hope replied smiling. "I hope that we can go and make me exactly like that too". Lumen sat watching as his daughter spoke to Ghoul and the pair grew to know each other better. He found the situation odd but it was nothing new for him. He may have stayed like that if it weren't for a reminder from Ghost.
"...Weren't you meant to be 'catching people up' as you put it?" Cursing Lumen said he's goodbyes to Hope and asked her to inform the Guard and Roselinen (Who is currently running the Shade Kingdom with Jay and Bon's help) of his absence. He started to head towards the fire kingdom hoping to find Finn and the Flame Royal.
Wizard City - Marcy, Phoebe, Fionna and Bonnie.
The four lady's were surprised when they arrived at Wizard City as all the destruction seemed to be but a dream. The whole city was looking normal and all the damage had been repaired. The only difference being was that they weren't attacked by crazy wizards and the giant tree growing over the city centre. They had explored the new sane city and were surprised by how well it seemed to be going. They paid a visit to various new stores that had been opened instead of vacant buildings.
The Cake store run by Dessert Wizard; Before he would turn anything he saw into a cake or dessert but now with his mind back had decided to open a store that sold the desserts he made. He showed the girls that he had gone round various plains gathering rubbish and waste and using his magic changed them into cakes and treats. This might have put the girls off eating but the cakes were extremely good. Marceline had a Blood Cherry Tart, Phoebe a Lava Orange Cream, Bonnie a Bubblegum Cheesecake and Fionna a plain Strawberry Gateau slice. They made sure to tip well and ask for details on Huntress but were unsuccessful.
The next place they visited was the Dress Room, It was being run by Dress Wizard, She use to be a massive pain for people as she'd wait in their wardrobes and cupboards and when they came to get dressed she'd use her magic to force all their clothes and then some on them till they couldn't move or call for help. Now she seemed to be enjoying making any clothes requested for by customers. When they spoke to her they found out that she was the one who had made Huntress' mask and told them they should speak to the Weapon Wizard as he was the one who helped Huntress to complete her weapons occasionally. While they were there they all got new clothes but decided to mix it up. Fionna got a little red riding hood like outfit but complete with Bunny ears. Phoebe got a new black flame proof dress covered with red skulls. Bonnie got a blue hoodie and jeans and Marcy got a pink and black dress with matching pink boots. They all thought the others looked great in their colours and they carried on their adventure. (Before they left Fionna put in an order for clothes for Hunter since he still was borrowing Marshall's)
At the third store they met up with Weapon Wizard. The three royal girls, Bonnie, Marcy and Phoebe all watched amazed as Fionna rushed in and started playing with all the weapons. Enchanted Swords and Armors, Blades of fire, Ice and even sugar. Bow and arrows, Maces, Spears, Katana's, Num-chucks and more. She tried them all out and immediately brought some and put them in her bag. They all watched as even the spear disappeared into her bag which clearly should not fit.
"...Ermm Fi.. What's up with your bag?"
"Oh... Yeah... Marshall kind of got it specially made by a Dimension demon in the Nightosphere... it has its own dimension which connects to a storage room we have at home... so anything I put in here can go straight to our room in Aaa... As long as its no longer alive it's fine to go through but I can summon anything I put into the room out..." The other three looked at it amazed... Marshall clearly had a different level of gift giving than the other guys they knew. Bonnie looked like she was ready to steal the bag though after being restraint so far with investigating all of the magic. Marcy knew the look and decided to change the subject and quizzed the Weapon Wizard on Huntress. He hadn't know a lot but it seemed he had asked the Huntress what the source of her power was and she had replied that it was from the power of nature who was seeking the host who could guarantee it's survival. It wished to grant her a power unknown to all and use her to protect their existence. The girls stood mouths open at how easy it had been to gain this knowledge and was surprised the insane wizard had thought to ask but he went on to say he had asked as he had wanted to steal all of the wizards powers and turn them into weapons to sell back to them... but he didn't know how to steal powers so he couldn't. He gave them a map to where the Huntress had roughly said was the greatest source of her powers and the girls set off again.
"So... that went well girls!" Marceline cheered gleefully.
"Yeah... like I really wasn't expecting this to be as easy as that but I guess when they were crazy these Wizards asked each other anything and for us thats been a great help.."
"Yeah but about what he said about the power... If it really is a natural power it may not be evil..." Phoebe suggested.
"Yeah but if this power truly wishes to ensure it's existence without having a decent reason not to it would surely try to gain control of Hunter so we should do what we can to remove it till we can be sure. As a scientist I feel its best not to dabble in the unknown where the children are concerned." Everyone looked at Bonnie surprised, in the past she would do whatever in the name of science but being mother had changed her for the better. They smiled and continued to follow the map none of them noticing the location they were heading.
Continuing from before - Marshall-Lee, Hunter and ?
Marshall waved Fionna goodbye and then floated over beside Hunter. He looked down at his son who was now silent. He seemed deep in thought as if he was carrying on his conversation with his mind. Marshall didn't know what to do as he sat down in front of his son he summoned his Axe guitar and started to strum a few notes. He started to hum to himself and then decided to sing.

Marshall stopped singing and looked at his son who was now looking back at him.
"Hey"
"Hey Dad"
"You doing okay?"
"...Is there a right answer to that?"
"One day there may be or you could be left asking yourself that till you get as old as me... I've said goodbye to my fair share of people in the past too. The survivors of the Mushroom war... My parents and friends from being a kid and many more... over time the pain kind of numbs but the weights you carry on your heart never fade."
"That song..."
"Yeah... one of my older ones... I sang it once at an event we held to cheer Fionna up but i never really finished it that time. It was meant to be heard by Bubba... I wish I knew that he was avoiding me all that while just to look for a way to stay by me. Best friend for life and death I guess but the pain from when he left and how he acted is still there. I'm gonna be honest Hunter... I'm pretty beat." Marshall sighed and laid down on the grass facing the sky above. He heard Hunter move to lay beside him.
"I've never seen you like this Dad... Where I come from you all have both memories, you know the time where I never existed and the one where I do. Where events are still happening in the second one its blurry for everyone but you're always so strong and act like the world couldn't bother you even if it tried." Marshall smiled, trust him to be that kind of guy.
"Well I'm going to apologise cause right now your Dad's pretty bothered by the world and now I'm worried about you. My son whose yet to be born but pretty much proves that this much handsomeness is something your born with, the right gene's and the right jeans if you get me" Both laughed at the bad joke.
"You don't have to worry, I'm not losing my mind Dad. Huntress' powers have an independent mind to her, they were like a gathering of powers from the last few hosts. I'm basically just a baby sitting pseudo host till she's back to normal which for you guys is 20 years but for me about 4."
"What do you mean baby sitting? and... Hunter... Huntress died in Wizard City she can't come back just because time passes?"
"Given how many times all of you guys have died and come back I really shouldn't need to explain, the powers value Huntress and wanted her to live so they used the last of their strength to shield her from the effect of her spell which stopped Lumen, however because of that she's in a state where she won't be able to come back for 20 years. The thing I picked up wasn't just a seed, it's Huntress. When that seed matures and blooms what steps out isn't some fruit but Huntress. Without a suitable host the powers would have ceased to exit and as a demon who can suck in souls and gain their powers its kind of obvious I'd make a good host however I can't use all the powers and according to the powers I'm not making the best use of my own powers anyway."
"Whoa... that's math that she can come back but 20 years dude your gonna be like 36..."
"20 years from now... I'm from 16 years into the future so when I go back it'll be four years and what's the age difference between Mum and you?"
"Oh that's true so these powers are a good thing? and lets not... there's no need to name numbers point proven"
"Well... they can be a bit annoying as they keep talking to me and trying to get me to focus but other than that they aren't too bad"
"That's good then, you had me and your Mum worried"
"Sorry dude..."
"It's cool" The two carried on laying on the grass staring up in the sky in silence, occasionally a bird or something else would fly over or a funny shaped cloud would pass them by. Other than that it was almost as if time had stopped for the two.
"You know... I heard that about me being annoying"
"Aha I know you were meant to and you've started using only 1st person?"
"Yes I figured it would be easier to understand and we agreed it would be best if I was the one who dealt with the speaking since you are familiar with me and just so you know I did have a name"
"That helps a lot thank you and oh really? What is it?"
"It was Jade"
"Was? no it is Jade, that doesn't change. You never told Huntress this did you?"
"No I didn't as I said we were never anything to her but a curse"
"Well Jade... it's never too late to change and we have 4 years to work on it"
"That's true, Oh and just to let you know I believe a portal will open here soon I believe it is your father trying to contact the Ice Wizard from his world and also I hear whispers from the forest four women including a fire elemental, a human, a vampire and another are coming this way be prepared."
"Thanks Jade, I'll speak later"
"...Anytime I guess be safe and remember what I've taught you" Jade's voice went quiet in his mind, Hunter could tell her voice was becoming warmer even slightly and knew that Huntress' situation had affected the powers severely.
"Hey Dad, just to let you know Simone will be contacting you shortly and Mum, Bonnie, Aunty Marcy and Phoebe will be here soon too."
"How do you know that?"
"Jade let me know?"
"Jade?"
"It was the last hosts name before death, seems easier to call her Jade than to keep calling her the powers."
"So you went from sleeping in the woods, to living with a girl to having one living inside your head... you're a smooth operator my son."
"I told you before that me and Huntress are just friends!" Inside his head he heard Jade laughing at the comment clearly not believing him. He was about to come out with a retort to them both when a black flame appeared to the side and spread into a circle in the air and then through the circle stood Simone.
"Hey Marshy" She said with a massive smile.
"Hey Simone hows it hanging?"
"It's pretty math as Fionna likes to say" The two chuckled a little.
"So... Do you want to update me Marshall, Faith said you wanted to talk to me and I think there's a mini you beside you..."
"Oh my glob I tot's forgot to tell you I was so distracted with everything going on here but this is mine and Fionna's son from the future, this is Hunter." Simone face lit up with a massive smile as she looked at Hunter and then back to Marshall.
"Oh my, it's a pleasure to meet you Hunter my name is Simone and I'm sort of like an adopted mother to Marshall in a way"
"Hey Nana don't worry I know who you are, we vacation back in Aaa to spend time with you and visit you all the time. I grew up hearing stories about you from my Dad and Mum too. You may not know it yet but me and you spend a lot of time together, nothing beats Nana Simone's Ice cream not even Simon's" Hunter smiled back at Simone who had tears in her eyes almost unable to believe it.
"Nana Simone hey?" Marshall asked teasing Simone.
"Shh Marshy... well I look forward to all those times Hunter and it looks like I've got to practice my Ice cream making if I'm going to keep hold of the best Ice cream of two worlds title but for now, Do you want to fill me in Marshall?" Simone listened as Marshall explained about Huntress, Wizard City and everything else that had happened.
"Well Marshall... It seems a lot had happened while I've been away but your thoughts aren't wrong. Wizard City was recently destroyed in a massive explosion, it was brought on by a small cult of Wizards that used the natural powers that Hunter Wizard possessed to release a giant wave of destruction. However due to the way Wizard City was built to hide it's location the wave was contained leading to it being only Wizard City that suffered. There are a quite a few survivors still but it's still quite bad. I only know this as we stopped by there to gather supplies, I imagine the reason Bonnie wouldn't know is because she never goes to Wizard City. I think the group who were crushed by Lumen were the same group planning to use Huntress so in fact it saved a lot of lives."
"Wow... so Nana if it hadn't happened Huntress really would have died...?"

"Oh Glob it's fortunate that we could avoid that..." Marshall and Simone watched as Hunter's focus faded, the two assumed he was discussing the information with Jade.
"So Marshall is that everything?"
"Not quite Simone, You know the location of the Shade Kingdom from your time in Ooo right?"
"I'm afraid I don't but I think Benny does as he was going to go find Lumen after Leaden's death once he knew I could be cured but was asked to wait."
"Perfect, could the two of you head over to your Shade Kingdom, search the ruins of the castle and see if you can find the Royal Crown. There should be some level of protection meaning no thieves could have stolen it but i think you two would be strong enough to break whatever protection there is."
"Sure thing Marshall but why do you want it? Lumen's already got his crown hasn't he?"
"Well yes but like you have an Ice Tiara instead of the Ice Crown I'm willing to bet that it's a Shade Tiara and although Lumen does have his Bella doesn't have one. Since she's kind of like a gender-bender equivalent to him as his twin she should be able to wear it and use its powers and if in the end of all of this things work out... there's a chance our world may be able to re-establish the Shade Kingdom."
"...Unbelievable Marshy, You've thought that far ahead I never would have even considered it, also with the extra power and control she may gain she would be a good asset against the darkness I can't believe no one else thought of this... yes we'll start searching straight away. I'll also search for any survivors from the Shade War."
"Thanks Simone that'll be a great help but keep this quiet for me okay, some of the others are still a bit afraid of her and probably wouldn't be too happy with her getting stronger."
"I understand Marshall... oh and while I'm thinking about it, there was a giant explosion in the air we could see from the Ice Kingdom. There seems to be some form of a barrier around Aaa but I don't know how to measure what it is yet as my equipment is all in tatters and will take a while to get back to a good condition." Marshall fell silent... He knew what had happened to Martin, Finn's Dad, who had sacrificed himself to save their world so he knew what had happened in Aaa. He said his goodbyes to Simone and went back over to Hunter in silence.
"Dad... that explosion she mentioned... could it be...?"
"Yeah... I think it was?"
"...Mum doesn't know yet..."
"I'll have to tell her when she gets here Hunter... I think she's going to need us there for her... Martina did the same thing as Martin... which means she felt the same as him... even without Lumen there she found a way to slow down the darkness to protect Fionna for a little longer she did good. But unlike Finn... she won't get to say goodbye or hear her say I Love You..."
"Then we'll have to say it for her Dad..."
"You're a good kid Hunter"
"Well credits half to you there Dad..."
The two laid back on the grass and looked up at the sky. By now the sun had begun to set and the sky was darkening. The two could see in the dark as good as they could in the day so it didn't bother them at all. They watched as the stars appeared in the sky and heard the wild nocturnal animals arise from their slumber and begun their nightly prowl. Hunter talked with Jade in his mind, she was teaching him his weaknesses and how to overcome them and Marshall lay wondering how he was to tell his wife that her Mum had died for her.
The two heard a noise nearby and sat up, they saw a light approaching them and knew that it was the girls. They looked at each other and sighed it wasn't going to be a nice conversation.
Sorry again for such a long time between chapter hoping to get more down now and get back on track with the story but thanks for anyone whose been reading or reviewed :)

Simon, Simone, Betty, Benny, Cloud (Baby), Ice Finn, Ivy, Flare, Faith, Phoenix and any other characters not mentioned in the location section above will probably not have any significant parts for a while and will be like minor characters
Additional Information:
- Ghost and Ghoul - Fractions of the Power left behind by the original Princess of Light (will be explained further later next time) can be heard by anyone with significant magical power or possessing a power gem (royal crowns) so the ones who won't be able to hear their voices are Finn, Fionna and BMO2. There will be a third Fraction for Bella but that's for another time too.
- Jade (collective name) - Huntress Wizards "Power", along the lines of a source of power for Wizards like the Ice King it's the source of her Wizardly powers. She can be heard by Hunter alone and I hope will develop as things go by however at the moment she seems to be like a mobile with notifications.
