Bulla started living with Trunks at his house their father still hadn't come home and they couldn't contact him in any way the only communication device they had was at Capsule Corp and it was destroyed. Trunks told her it wasn't a fire, he could still sense the energy, someone murdered her. Bulla couldn't even drag herself out of bed spending a good part of the her conscious day crying. Someone knocked on the door, wiping the tears from her eyes, "c-come in."
Trunks peeked his head in the door, "hey little sis... doin okay?"
Bulla looked at the carpet, "I'm just still trying to accept everything and take it in slowly."
"Hey, well get whoever did this okay, when dad gets back we'll tell him and I'll get Goten and Goku to help us find the dragon balls and we'll bring her back then we'll hunt down the bastard that did this."
Bulla nodded and Trunks nodded back at her and left closing the door behind him so Bulla could throw herself into her soft pillows letting the tears flow again.
Beerus' planet.
Vegeta huffed how was super saiyan blue not enough for to destroy Cell, they had been fighting for almost two hours now and it seemed like Cell was holding back.
"Is this the extent of your power Vegeta, still as weak as before just like that boy of yours, don't tell me that your whole family is this weak, it would be very disappointing if that were the truth."
"Shut up shut up SHUT UUUUUP!" Broken bones felt like mere bruises, sore and aching muscles felt like nothing his limits felt like suggestions. "I'll be the one to kill you Cell." Vegetas blue aura was absorbed by his body before shooting out in a darker blue and his hair also became a darker blue and his muscles expanded.
"Ahhh!" Vegeta sent hundreds of ki blasts at Cell at light speed, then he charged up a huge blue sphere above his head and vanished above Cell hitting him with it and propelling them down to the blue grass. They hit the ground and Vegeta charged up a vicious final flash and hit the ball with it crushing Cell with the insane destructive power shaking the planet with the earth shattering force. The ball exploded and Vegeta finished his energy beam, narrowing his eyes at the crater he just created.
"Come out Cell I'm not finished with you."
Cell rose from the smoke, smirk plastered on his face. "And here I was trying to give you false security Vegeta, but you know with all your strength you haven't managed to scratch me." It was true Cell didn't look hurt at all, I guess you could say he looked like he was in, perfect, condition (see what I did there).
"Just because I feel so bad with how weak you and Goku are I'll give the both of you, hmmm... four days, that should be enough to completely crush your hopes and we will met back where the original Cell games took place for the sequel. I call it, 'Cell games: Cells perfect revenge. I think it's got a nice ring to it, anyway make sure Goku and that boy Gohan are there, nobody else matters but if they aren't there I will destroy everything Vegeta."
"I don't think so Cell we're finishing this here and now."
Cell waved at Vegeta and placed his fingers to his head, Vegeta dashed towards him but he vanished before he could be reached. Vegeta clenched his fists and he could feel his fingers cracking from the pressure he was putting them under but his anger and sadness dulled his pain because the pain in his heart was far greater. Right now surpassing Kakarot didn't matter anymore his beloved mate was killed and he would kill Cell for even daring to hurt her.
Vegeta slowly dropped down to the planets surface and his hair regained its natural dark color, he whipped around and walked over to Goku, "come on Kakarot let's..." Gokus eyes were open but his energy could be felt so he was only asleep. Sighing Vegeta bent down and grabbed Gokus boot dragging him all the way to the spaceship.
It wasn't instant like Whis said it was. Vegeta was sitting down in a chair with his head in his hands thinking of the things he would do to Cell.
13 minutes later.
Still holding Goku by his boot he flew to Capsule Corp and gritted his teeth flying past the carnage he flew to trunks' house just a few miles away. Knocking on the door, dropping Gokus limb and wiping his hand on his armor.
"So Cell Huh, isn't that the guy that the 'me' from the future told you about then Gohan defeated him and now he's back?"
Vegeta nodded, Trunks nodded his head in Gokus direction who was laying on the couch, "what happened to Goku though."
"I have no idea, he was fighting and then he just, dropped." Trunks looked at Gokus sleeping for a bit longer and him and Vegeta discussed what they would do.
"Trunks who was at the doo-" Bullas eyes widened as she looked at her father who looked a little worse for wear, she ran over to him without a second thought and wrapped her arms around him embracing him tightly fighting back the tears so she could look strong in front of him. He hugged her back and rubbed the back of her head, glad that Cell didn't take his precious daughter from him.
A few hours later.
Gohan and his younger brother Goten were in front of Trunks' house, and Goten knocked on the door loudly, "Hey Trunks its me and Gohan." The door opened a few seconds later and trunks let them in, "hey how many times do I have to tell you to take off your shoes you animal?"
Goten gave Trunks a glare that said he wasn't in the mood to play this game, "alright alright sheesh, I'll just have to vacuum when you leave." Goten and Gohan went over to their fathers side, Gohan looked at Vegeta before speaking, "you said Cell did this? How is he even alive, what did he do to my father?"
Trunks spoke up behind him, "we don't know all we know is that he's alive again and he's even stronger that super saiyan blue now."
Gohan shook his head and sat down on a chair next to Goku and took off his glasses rubbing his eyes. He looked up at Vegeta, "where is he?"
"Did you not just hear what you were told, you haven't trained for years and you think you can fight him, he while the floor with your ass boy."
Gohan jumped out of his chair raising his voice, "well someone has to do something!"
Vegeta got irritated at Gohans outburst raising his own voice. "You think i didn't, he killed Bulma and taunted me, I tried to kill him Gohan and it wasn't enough, I loathe to admit it but right now he's stronger than all of us."
Gohan sat back down, "then... what are we supposed to do?"
"We train, we only have four days so we'll have to train as hard as we can and then we might be able to beat him, even without Kakarot."
Gohan looked at his father, "what about my father."
Trunks sat down on the chair opposite of Gohan, "we leave Goku here with Bulla while we fight, then when we win we gather the dragon balls and wish to undo everything Cell did since he was resurrected. Bullas still has to go to school to keep up appearances, we wanted her to try and have a normal life so no one knows that she's the heiress to a multi billion zenny corporation. But it's Friday so she won't have to go to school for a few days."
Goten looked around, "I'm guessing we're going to the hyperbolic time chamber? Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Goten rushed out the house and taking to the air as soon as he could. Trunks sighed telling the two fighters to go ahead of him.
He walked up to Bullas room and took a deep breath, knocking but he didn't wait for her to open it, "I'm guessing you heard everything we were talking about but I'm going to go over it for you, we're going to train for Cell, so you're going to have to take care of Goku, that means you're going to have to feed him and wash him and take care of him in case something happens to him again, I've already put him in my room and he's probably going to want answers, just... try not to kill my friends dad with your horrible cooking, I'm leaving you some zenny to order take out. Don't worry Bulla, we'll make Cell pay."
This was bullshit she was going to have to take care of Goku, why because she was a woman and couldn't, well it's was true that she couldn't fight but couldn't anyone else take care of Goku? It was stupid. And it's that she didn't want to take care of him because she was slightly attracted to him and was scared of what would happen if they were alone for days on end, nope not that at all.
She left her room and peeked in her brothers room spotting Goku lying on the bed with the covers pulled up over his body, why was he dumped on to her why couldn't his wife take care of him?

Chi chi didn't even get to say good bye to Goten before he took off, he told her about Goku and Cell coming back and that they were going to trim before taking of into the sky just like how he got there. He told her to lay low and to stay safe and that they were gonna deal with this in four days. A little more than shocked at the megaton of news that had just been dropped on her she didn't even get a word in before Goten was already far away. She huffed and crossed her arms, muttering something about saiyans before entering her house.
She picked up the basket of dirty clothes bringing to the wash room, she never made it there, she stopped in her steps looking at the tall green man in her house, that she knew to be Cell, "Good day Chi Chi, you'll be coming with me for the time being." Then he hit the back of her neck knocking her out cold.
Now he could get to work on the Cell games: 'Cells revenge'... well it was a work in progress title, 'Cell reborn', no that was stupid... maybe 'Wrath of Cell' no it just wasn't perfect enough.
Resurrection of Cell, Battle of Cell, Cell Evolution... 'I can't force it, it'll come to me eventually. Can't rush genius after all.' He thought and with that he flew off to create his new arena.
