"Hey. Look" Skye said, as they approached the large house that the package was brought to.

"Coulson was right. Cybertek led us to Quinn" Skye exclaimed, as they watched Quinn get out of his car.

"Activate the tracker. Let them know we're here" Skye told Fitz, who immediately did so.

"You want to go in?" Fitz asked, seeing the way Skye was looking at the building.

"We can't let Quinn get away again. If Coulson were here, he wouldn't let that happen. He wouldn't want us to let that happen" Skye explained.

"You're right" Fitz replied.

"I don't know guys, is it really worth the risk?" Kayla questioned.

"Yes" Skye told her.

"Let's do it" Fitz said, looking through his bag.

"Can you disable their cars?" Skye inquired.

"With my bare hands" Fitz stated, making Skye smirk.

"Take this" Fitz exclaimed, handing her a night-night gun.

"You'll need it too" Skye retorted.

"Just take it. Be careful, okay?" Fitz asked.

"You, too" Skye replied.

"Okay, let's go" Kayla said, about to stand up.

"Wait, what do you mean 'lets'? You're staying out here with Fitz" Skye insisted.

"You think there's any way I would let you go into that building on your own?" Kayla questioned.

"It was worth a try" Skye shrugged, as they got up and started to approach the house.

They came across their first guard, who Skye shot at, getting him in the head on her second go.

"Nice shot" Kayla said, high fiving her.

"Thanks" Skye replied, proudly.

Once they got into the house they overheard a woman and man talking to each other.

"Find Mr. Quinn, tell him his purchase is downstairs" The woman told the man.

"Split up" Skye and Kayla said at the same time.

Kayla looked around the floor they were on, and soon heard a muffled talking from a nearby room and opened the door. She stepped inside and looked around, when she felt a sharp pain in her back and realised she had been shot. She turned around to come face to face with Quinn.

"Rude, much?" Kayla said, as she walked towards him.

Before she could get far, he started firing numerous shots at her, pushing her further and further back until she hit the wall. She slid to the ground, and looked at her injuries. There was blood pouring out of her chest at an alarming rate.

"The Clairvoyant told me you'd be here. He also said that you'd be hard to take in" Quinn stated.

"Yeah, well he wasn't kidding" Kayla said, as she could feel herself healing from the bullet wounds, getting ready to fight.

"However, I wonder what happens if I shoot you here…" Quinn trailed off, placing the gun to her forehead.

"It's never happened before, has it? Do you think you'd heal from it completely? Maybe you'd get some brain damage?" Quinn suggested, as Kayla gulped.

"I have a feeling we're going to find out" Kayla said, trying to sound brave.

"This is nothing personal" Quinn told her, before shooting her in the head.

Her body instantly flopped to the ground, as Quinn checked for her pulse.

"Amazing…" He trailed off, as he felt the flutter of her heart beat.

"Take her, quickly. Before the others get here" Quinn ordered some of his men.

Quinn had then gone downstairs and confronted Skye, shooting her on the orders he had. He then went back upstairs to wait for the rest of the team, who soon arrived.

"Where are they?" Coulson questioned, holding a gun to Quinn's head.

"You know it's dangerous to keep sending her in like that, all alone. When she means so much to you" Quinn smirked, as Coulson slapped him.

"Search the house, find her" Coulson ordered them.

"What about Kayla?" Ward asked.

"She can't be killed, Skye can" Coulson told him.

They soon found Skye who was bleeding out on the floor and put her in a hyperbaric chamber, which helped to bring her core temperature down. It was then that they heard a loud revving engine from outside and rushed to see what it was. They watched as a car drove away, close to where it had been parked was a puddle of blood.

"Kayla…" Ward trailed off.

"Her core temperature's hovering around 44 degrees Fahrenheit. If we don't bring her back up to temp in the next few hours, she could sustain permanent brain damage. We need to get her to a medical facility and fast. Until then, I'll do everything I can to keep her alive. Excuse me" Simmons explained when they were back on the bus, leaving the room with Fitz quickly following.

Ward then walked out of the room, with May following. She quickly closed the doors, as Ward punched one of the cars, clearly angry.

"It's not your fault" May told him, as she moved her hand over his, but he quickly pulled it away.

"They never should have gone in alone" Ward announced.

"Blaming yourself won't help them" May insisted.

"I'm not blaming myself" Ward retorted, as May realised what he meant.

While they were waiting to get Skye to a hospital, Coulson, Ward and May decided to interrogate Quinn on Kayla's whereabouts.

"Where is she?" Coulson insisted, for what felt like the hundredth time that night.

"I told you, I don't know. Centipede wanted her, and I gave her to them" Quinn explained.

"How did you take her down?" May questioned.

"I fired about 15 bullets into her but she still wouldn't go down. When I shot her in the head though, she seemed to calm down" Quinn told them.

"You son of a bitch!" Ward shouted, as he ran towards him, punching him squarely in the face.

"Agent Ward, stop right now!" Coulson ordered him.

Grudgingly, Ward did so, his hands in fists.

"He really doesn't seem to know where she is…so for now our priority should be Skye" Coulson explained.

"Are you sure about that? Because if centipede figures out how to use her healing powers for themselves, you guys are really going to be in trouble" Quinn taunted them.

Meanwhile, far away from the rest of the team, Kayla slowly started to wake up. She tried to open her eyes but when she did all she saw was darkness. For a moment she started to panic, thinking maybe she had gone blind but her sight soon returned revealing her to be in a small dark room. She looked down to see that she was handcuffed to a chair, blood all over her, with a tube in her arm.

"This isn't good, they said she wouldn't wake up yet" She heard someone say behind her.

"What's going on?" She mumbled, noticing that there was a small lag on her words.

"Should I sedate her?" Another person asked.

"Sedate her? She got shot like 20 times and only just went down! What are you going to sedate her with?" The first person spoke.

"…Or you idiots could just totally ignore me" Kayla sighed, letting her dead drop.

Suddenly there was a bright light, and Kayla realised the door in front of her had opened and then was quickly shut. A man appeared wearing a black uniform, and looked angrily at the people behind her.

"Why is she awake?" He questioned.

"I…I don't know. We figured that she wouldn't wake up-" He was cut off quickly.

"You didn't sedate her? Nothing!" The man shouted.

"I'm sorry Sir…we'll try to find something…" The other one trailed off as they both came into view.

They were wearing white lab coats, making Kayla realise that they were scientists. They quickly ran out of the room, and closed the door.

"What's this?" Kayla inquired, indicating to the tube in her wrist.

"They were trying to separate whatever it is that makes you able to heal so fast" The man replied.

"And the handcuffs?" She questioned.

"We took a blood sample from one of our previous fights with you and were able to create handcuffs that stop you from being able to use your telekinesis power" He explained.

"Brilliant…so what's your job? Torture information out of me?" Kayla asked.

"We don't need any information, we have the clairvoyant" He stated.

"Am I going to get to meet this guy?" Kayla questioned.

"He thinks it's best for the moment if you don't know his identity" The man told her.

"Oh, so he's a coward. Surprise, surprise" Kayla exclaimed, as the man raised his hand and slapped her.

"…I'd say that hurt, but I've been getting slapped since I was four. So you're going to have to try a little better than that if we're going for the whole torture thing" Kayla explained.

"This isn't going to be torture…more like testing" The man said, stepping behind her and coming back into view with a hammer.

"You're not going to hit me in the head with that, are you? Because that's really not cool" Kayla stated.

"Not quite" The man replied, as he brought two stools over to her, one for him to sit on and another which he placed her arm on.

"This may hurt a little" He told her, as he brought the hammer down onto her elbow.

"Ow! What the hell are you doing?!" Kayla shouted, as the pain radiated through her arm.

"Testing" He exclaimed, as he hit her arm a little lower with the hammer again.

After what felt like hours but was in fact probably only a few minutes, her arm was dropped to her side, pain shooting through it. She tried to move her arm, but let out a gasp when all it achieved was a flinch. Looking down she could see her arm was a mixture of purples and blues, and had to hold bile down when she saw bones coming through her skin.

"Now we'll just wait and see how long that takes to heal…if it does" The man explained, with a small smirk.

"Screw you" Kayla spat out, as her vision started to go dark from the pain again.
