She could see he was starting to get close to where she was, so she quickly ran towards the closet door, putting the coin back in place so he wouldn't suspect anything. She kept running until she came to a dead end. She was completely isolated and alone. She opened the nearest door to her and locked it.

"No, no, no" She breathed shakily as she backed away from the door.

"No, no" She repeated, putting her hands to her face.

He couldn't be. He just…couldn't be. How could he have lied to her, the team for all this time? How could he have hurt them this much? She thought back to when she had seen him with Garrett and it was all starting to make sense. He had been in on it since beginning.

"He's Hydra" She exclaimed, trying to come to terms with it.

All this time, he had been the mole in their group, giving all the information to Hydra. She thought back to when she had been kidnapped and Skye had been shot. Had he been in on that? He must have been, she thought to herself. Becoming angry, she started to grip onto the basin, trying to calm her breathing, but it was no good. In anger, she balled her hand into a fist and punched the nearby mirror, watching it shatter and put her hands to her head.

"Kayla?" She heard a voice call out, making her gasp.

He was going to kill her. There was nowhere for her to run, no help coming for her. By the time the others came back she'd be dead like Koenig. They probably wouldn't even realised it was Ward who had done it.

"No, no…" She trailed off, falling to the ground.

She didn't want to die, not here, not now. She pulled her legs up towards her, letting her head fall forward as she tried to calm herself.

"Kayla?" Ward shouted again.

She could hear he was getting closer this time, and started to feel her breathing get worse. Before she knew it she was hyperventilating and couldn't get her thoughts together.

"He's going to kill me" She cried, her hands clasped to her head.

She heard a clang of metal and looked up, worried that he might already be at the door, but instead saw something else. All the objects in the bathroom had started to move into the air. Letting out a loud gasp, she stumbled towards the door and opened it to see the same thing was happening outside as well.

"Oh God…no, no" She said, locking the door again.

Meanwhile Ward had stopped when he saw the objects that weren't tied down in the corridor were now floating in the air, and knew it had to be Kayla. She must be freaking out about something he realised. Did she know?

"Okay, come on Kayla. Come on" She stated, as she started to get her breathing under control.

Soon the objects that were flying in the room clattered to the ground. She needed to get up, or she definitely was going to die here. There must be a reason why he hadn't killed her, he must need her for something, she thought to herself. Maybe she could just pretend that she didn't know. She knew the others could pull it off, but could she? Taking a large breath, she pulled herself up. She needed to find a way to tell the team without Ward knowing. She saw a small screwdriver on the ground and picked it up.

"Kayla?!" Another shout came.

She quickly wrote out the words 'Ward is Hydra' onto the nearby picture that was supposed to look like a window. She then pulled the picture down and stuck the screwdriver into the corner, so the other picture would stay up until somebody removed it and hoped that someone would find it. She soon found Ward by the closet where Koenig's body was in and hid behind the nearby wall, getting her story straight. Taking a deep breath and wiping her eyes, she moved into view and saw him check the door. The coin fell into his hand, making him think that she hadn't seen anything.

"Hey…think I'd be hiding in a closet?" She questioned, putting on a small smile.

"I was wondering where you went. I went back to the room, you weren't there. Why'd you leave? And what was up with the whole flying objects?" Ward inquired.

"My arm started hurting, I guess it's not as healed as I thought it was. Went to the bathroom to see if it was swelling up and…hit my elbow on the door. Which really freaking hurt by the way. I guess my telekinesis must have gone into overdrive because of it" Kayla explained.

"Are you okay now?" He asked, worry on his face.

"Yeah, it's fine" She replied.

"Are you sure? Because I can have a look at it" He insisted.

"Nah, I'm all good" She told him, backing away.

"…Look I'm sorry if I came on to heavy, if I-" Ward started, but she quickly cut him off.

"No, you didn't. Thank you, for opening up to me…there's nothing else you want to tell me?" Kayla exclaimed.

She practically felt like slapping herself. Why the hell had she asked that? She supposed there was still a part of her that hoped that he would tell her about what she had just seen, tell her that there was more to the story, but deep down she knew there wasn't.

"…Uh, I…no, don't worry about it" He said, as if changing his mind.

He knew that she would hate him if she found out, and he was too much of a coward to face that, he thought to himself.

"Wait, wasn't there something that you wanted to talk about?" Ward questioned.

"Uh, can't really remember now" She stated.

"Are you sure?" Ward inquired, not really convinced.

"Yeah" She smiled at him, as she moved closer to him

She then pressed her lips against his, and moved her hand into his hair. He pulled her closer to him by her hips, kissing her deeper. She gripped onto his hair harder in return, earning a low moan from him in response and bit on his bottom lip as she pulled away, her hand trailing down his chest. She looked down as she tried to get her head together. She had kissed him to stop him from looking into her flimsy excuse, but now she found herself losing her train of thought. She then looked back up to him, and felt a familiar flutter of her heart. He was looking at her with half lidded eyes and was still holding onto her hips like he never wanted to let her go. That's when she realised that he really did want her, and she figured maybe she could use that.

"I want this" She told him, as she saw his whole face light up.

"What do you want?" She inquired.

"What I want is to stay here with you and pretend the world outside doesn't exist…" He trailed off, sounding genuine.

"…But the world outside does exist. I just got word from Fitz, they need our help. Bus is fueled up, ready to go" He announced.

"Shouldn't we tell Koenig?" She asked.

"I just did. He's headed outside to open the hanger door, we're in a hurry" Ward explained.

"I just need to grab a couple of things-" She was cut off by Ward grabbing onto her arm.

He quickly let go when he saw the fear in her eyes at his action. Since when had she looked at him like that, he thought to himself.

"We need to go right now" He insisted, knowing that the longer they stayed here, the more likely it was that she would find out about Koenig.

"Of course, you're right" She said, forcing a smile onto her face.

He then nodded, as they both started to walk down the corridor. He looked down at her and slowly intertwined their fingers together, wanting to savor the time he had with her. She gave him another quick smile before looking away, trying to calm her instincts which were screaming at her to run away.
