"The Trojan horse worked. It gave us access to the system we wanted. Our secret weapon...we now have eyes on their operation right in the palm of my hand" Skye grinned.

They had picked Kayla up for this mission, because they knew they might need someone with her abilities to get through it.

"We'll need more than eyes to defeat Garrett" Tripp retorted.

"Whatever it takes, we're going to take that bastard down" Kayla stated.

"What is it?" May asked, when Coulson walked out of the cockpit.

"FitzSimmons' tracker crossed the ocean. It's in New Mexico" Coulson announced.

"They managed to tag the plane?" Skye inquired.

"It appears so, but they're not answering" Coulson explained.

"No..." Skye trailed off.

Kayla let her head fall into her hands, she couldn't lose anyone else.

"You're not going anywhere. You think you can steal the gravitonium?" Ward exclaimed, as he grabbed onto Raina's arm.

"It was given to us" Raina retorted.

"What the hell did you say to Garrett?" Ward asked.

"I listened" She replied.

"He's psychotic! Did you notice that?! I just had to lock up six government officials because he butchered the seventh one. He completely lost it in there" Ward explained.

"You're wrong. Garrett's not lost. Far from it...he's connected now" Raina told him.

"Don't tell me you're following him into this madness. His talk of evolution..." Ward trailed off.

"I agree with him. You're the one who follows him. But in this case, you should. For the first time, you both need the same thing, and so do I" Raina announced.

"What are you talking about? I need him to get his head on straight" Ward insisted

"Kayla…she's part of this evolution, in fact, I believe she may turn out to be one of the main players. So if you want her, go get her Grant Ward" Raina informed him.

"Get her for what?" Ward inquired.

"The world is going to change, what she really is will be revealed. I know I'd certainly want to have her on my side" Raina stated.

"You really think Kayla will just willingly come with me? She hates me" Ward sighed.

"We both know that is not true. Are you really the monster that Garrett has trained you to be?" Raina questioned.

"I don't know" Ward whispered.

"There is a darkness inside of Kayla, an evil that is yet to come out. I believe in a world where this will reveal itself and when that day comes...maybe you two could be monsters together" Raina explained, as she sauntered off, leaving Ward to his thoughts.

Kayla, a monster? She was nothing like that, nothing like him. She was good. While he was bad. He knew this, had known for a long time. She deserved better than him, he thought to himself.

Skye, May and Kayla had managed to get into Cybertek and soon got to the room they wanted. May entered first, shooting a few people with her icer, Skye and Kayla following behind.

"Coulson, we've found the dealer" Skye spoke into the walkie talkie.

"This is a bomb. You know what those do. And you've seen Agent May here through the eyes of your super soldiers, so you know what she does. And my friend Kayla here has telekinesis. You don't want to mess with us, is my point" Skye announced, holding up her bag.

"You're not gonna be able to hijack our soldiers. We've thought through every emergency scenario, including this one" A man at a computer told them.

"Don't tell me you just switched the soldiers to default directive" Skye suggested.

"Yeah, I did…And how did you know about that?" The man questioned, realising his mistake.

"The compound's been hit. Raina and Quinn took off. We need to take action now. What are my orders?" Ward inquired.

"That's up to you, son" Garrett replied.

"Wake up! Come back to reality, John. What do you need me to do?" Ward questioned.

"You've already done it" Garrett grinned at him, as he phone rang.

"Oh. It's your handler, probably to tell me what the soldiers are seeing. Yeah?" He asked, picking up the phone.

"Hi, John. Just calling to catch up" Skye spoke from the other end.

"Skye. You sound different on the phone...huskier" Garrett announced, watching Ward's reaction, as he wondered if Kayla was with her.

"You curious why I'm calling from your soldier control center?" Skye inquired.

"No, I'm not too concerned. You see, if anyone but the assigned handler gives a directive to one of my men, well, kaboom" Garrett explained.

"Ah, darn it. Coulson didn't think of that. You outsmarted us again" Skye said sarcastically.

"Phil's around? Great. We actually have a lot to talk about. I bet your little friend with her telekinesis is there too. Oh, and I wanted you to know...your scientist friends...they were brave until their last breath" Garrett told her with a smirk, making Ward grimace.

"Raina told me how special Kayla is. I know you've seen that from the start. You want orders? Get her. She'll be a big help to our cause" Garrett stated.

"Thank you" Ward replied, walking out of the room, knowing what he had to do now.

"Looks like the back entrance to the factory floor is on the South side" Kayla spoke into the walkie talkie after May and Skye had cleared everyone but the handler out.

"Roger that" Coulson replied.

"I have to hit "snooze"on this every minute to keep that from blowing" Kayla stated, pointing to the bag she had taped to his chest.

"Look, I will die before talking, but there's nothing to tell. There's no way of controlling the soldiers unless there's an actual handler at the machine" The man exclaimed.

"I'm not interested in that. How'd you end up in all of this anyway? You don't really strike me as a believer" Kayla stated, raising an eyebrow.

Before she could say anything else, the man tackled her, making her fall backwards, as he started to run away. She quickly picked herself back up and used her telekinesis to push him to the ground, anger in her eyes.

"P-please don't kill me" He stuttered, as Kayla held him to the ground with her invisible grasp.

"She's not gonna kill you. She had a chance to kill me before and couldn't do it. And she hates me…a lot" A voice announced.

Kayla looked up to see the man she never expected to see again, sauntering into the room, gun in hand.

"Ward" She gulped.
