"Hey, hey! It's okay, I'm not here to hurt you. Raina is gone. You've…you've completed your orders to the best of your ability" Kayla explained, as Agent 33 started to panic.
"No…I, I need…It's not good enough" She said, standing up suddenly.
"It's fine, just calm down, yeah?" Kayla stated.
"I failed…again" The woman mumbled.
"You were up against me, kind of an unfair disadvantage…sorry about your head" Kayla went on.
"That was you?" The woman realised.
"Yep…what's your name?" Kayla questioned.
"Agent 33" She replied.
"No, you're real name" Kayla clarified.
"I…I don't…" The woman stuttered.
"No name comes to mind? Nothing?" Kayla asked.
"I…Kara…yeah, Kara" She told her, trying the sound of the word.
"Okay Kara, I need you to listen to me. We need to get out of here right now. You've been brainwashed, that's why you can't remember anything" Kayla informed her.
"No…I…that's not right" Kara insisted.
"Please, I know none of this makes sense but I need you to believe me" Kayla pleaded.
"No, you're lying…you're S.H.I.E.L.D, the enemy!" Kara glared at her.
"No, I'm-" Kayla was quickly cut off when Kara pulled out her gun and hit her around the head with it, making Kayla momentarily black out.
Kara raised her gun to the girls head, but found that she couldn't shoot her. There was something telling her that she didn't deserve it, so she left.
When Kayla came to a few moments later Kara was long gone, and she knew Hydra would be just around the corner, so reluctantly had to give up.
"Skye? What's going on?" Kayla questioned, when Skye came running into the control room.
"If the team go down into the temple…something bad is going to happen to them" Skye started, as she tried to get in contact with Coulson.
"Something bad as in…?" Kayla trailed off.
"Death" Skye answered for her.
"You can't believe what Raina said" May told her, as she joined them.
"The temple has the same symbols as the Diviner…she's telling the truth" Skye explained.
"Dammit, why isn't this working?!" Skye cried, as the call was dropped.
"We're getting some kind of interference" May replied.
"S.H.I.E.L.D. 6-1-6...do not engage your defenses, or you will be shot out of the sky" A voice announced suddenly.
"Whitehall" May spat out.
"There's HYDRA quinjets outside the windows on both sides" Trip informed them.
"Then let's step on it, shall we?" Hunter suggested.
"You really think we can outrun them?" Kayla retorted.
"You have some people on board that I want...Raina and Kayla. I'm going to send over a representative to get them. Any attempt to evade or retaliate will be met with hostile fire. Uncloak and prepare to be boarded" Whitehall explained, as all eyes locked onto Kayla.
"Destiny calls" Raina smirked.
"Wait, why does he want you?" Trip queried.
"Probably the whole telekinesis, healing thing. Two for the price of one" Kayla sighed.
"I'm not going to give up the lives of everyone on this plane for Raina. She's not worth it" May went on, as they walked over to the stairs, their weapons raised.
"HYDRA already has the Obelisk. If they have Raina, too…" Skye trailed off.
"We still have the edge. Coulson's already on site. HYDRA's not" May assured her.
"Um guys? What about me?" Kayla questioned.
"There's no way they're having you. Don't worry, we'll work something out" Trip insisted.
"How the hell did they find us? We were cloaked" Hunter added.
"Raina's tracker. Old frequency S.H.I.E.L.D. used during the cold war. What can I say? I'm a history buff" Ward smirked, as he walked down the stairs.
"Lower your weapons. Anyone shoots, the plane goes down. We all die" Ward continued, his eyes locked with Kayla's.
"Maybe it's worth it" May suggested.
"Let's not get carried away just yet" Hunter argued.
"First, you gave us Bakshi. Now you're back with HYDRA? Pick a side, Ward" Skye exclaimed.
"Oh, I have. Don't worry. Let's go" Ward told Raina.
"With pleasure" Raina smirked, sauntering up the stairs.
"You too, Skye. It's time to meet your father" Ward smirked.
"No" Skye replied.
"Kayla?" Ward asked.
"I wanted you to find Skye's father, not hand me over to Hydra on a silver platter!" Kayla told him, angrily.
"Skye's father is working with Hydra, I can't help that…if you both don't come with me, we're all going to die" Ward insisted.
"…Fine" Kayla spat out, not happy with the situation.
"No, Kayla! We can find another way" Trip suggested.
"There isn't one Trip" Kayla mumbled.
"She's right" Skye grumbled.
"Guns" Ward stated, as Skye handed hers over.
"Is this really necessary? I mean I could kill everyone on that plane pretty easily without this" Kayla explained, still handing over the gun.
"It makes them feel better" Ward shrugged, as Kayla snorted.
"Don't worry, if this all goes south, I've got your back" He whispered to her.
"You better. Please don't make me regret this" Kayla told him.
"I won't" He nodded.
"Skye, you don't have to…" May trailed off.
"Don't worry, I'll look out for her" Kayla told them.
"I'm 5 years older than you, you know" Skye said, raising an eyebrow.
"God, everyone wants to remind me of my age today don't they" Kayla exclaimed, as they slowly climbed up the stairs.
