Taking a deep breath, she kicked the vent door out and jumped down. Quickly two agents responded by shooting at her numerous times, but she stopped them before they could hit her.
"Stop!" She shouted, extending her hands at opposite sides, as everyone in the corridor stopped moving.
Making her hands into fists, she then pushed them all into the nearest surface, hard. She then started to rush down the corridor, now littered with bodies. Once she turned the corner she found herself facing another onslaught, this time with agents who had heavier weaponry. She held her hands up, as she used her telekinesis to send all their blood rushing to their heads. They all dropped their weapons instantly, as their hands went to their heads, blood dripping from their ears and noses. Soon she could see the door to the aircraft carrier in sight, and knew it was her way out. She barged past the last few agents and tried to open the door, but it said it had been shut down.
"Dammit!" She growled.
"There's nowhere to go, Kayla. You're trapped" Coulson's voice boomed from behind her.
She turned to see her former group, minus Fitz, with their weapons trained on her.
"You know what you lot are? Fucking hypocritical little shits. I could have helped you lot save people, but no, you decide to look me up in a cage, whereas Skye…she gets to carry on as normal!" Kayla shouted at them.
"Skye hasn't killed people" Coulson retorted.
"Does Donnie Gill not ring any bells? No? Oh yeah, I forgot how selective your memories are" Kayla chuckled to herself.
"Just give yourself in, Kayla. Don't make this more difficult than it has to be" Skye insisted.
"I have been waiting to say this for five whole months…Fuck You" Kayla replied, as she then turned around and used her telekinesis to grab hold of the large metal door.
She then ripped it sideways with her powers, getting shot numerous times from behind as she jumped through the small gap she had opened. She then turned around and with a smirk, twisted her hand and closed the door on her former friends. She ran over to the nearest plane that she could see was operational and rushed towards the cockpit, where she could see a pilot was already sitting, shouting into his comms about what was happening.
"Hello, mate" Kayla smiled, as she sat down in the chair opposite to him, seeing the fear in his eyes.
"I think I need a lift" She smirked.
She stumbled up the stairs of the building, ignoring the strange looks from the people around her. She was bleeding all over the floor and she knew someone had probably already called the police, meaning that S.H.I.E.L.D would be on their way. She stopped outside the nearest door and looked at her phone, indicating that the source that she was looking for was on the other side. She had tracked down a phone that she remembered Ward had, and was praying that he hadn't just chucked it away.
"Ward?! Are you in there?" She questioned, banging on the door.
A moment later, the very man opened the door, his eyes widening in surprise.
"Kayla? How are you here?" He questioned, as she pushed past him.
"We don't have time. I need your help" She exclaimed, as she walked over to the window and saw S.H.I.E.L.D cars already lining up outside.
"Who is it? S.H.I.E.L.D?" Ward suggested, when he saw them too, as she nodded.
"God, I thought you were dead" She sighed.
"Lucky for you, I'm not" He shrugged.
"Where's the nearest exit?" Kayla queried.
"There's a fire exit outside the window. We can get out that way" He advised, as someone suddenly started pounding on the door.
"We know you're in there, Kayla!" She heard Coulson shout.
Kayla quickly opened the window and was about to step out of it, when she saw Ward still hadn't moved.
"Come on! We need to go!" Kayla cried, as suddenly Ward started to laugh.
"Wow, I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed. I thought you would have figured it out by now" Ward said, raising an eyebrow.
Before Kayla could reply, the doors burst open and the team ran through, heavily armed.
"Looks like we got two for the price of one" Skye stated.
"Not quite" Ward replied, as he turned to look at Kayla.
"Sorry about this" He exclaimed, as he raised a gun that he had been keeping in his waistband.
Kayla let out a shocked gasp, as instead of shooting towards the others, he aimed the gun at her and took the shot. The impact hit her hard as she fell against the wall. She looked down at her stomach, as the pain started to rip through her.
"Ahhhh!" She screamed, clutching her head.
"What the hell did you do?" Coulson asked Ward, confused.
"God, you lot are slow on the update, aren't you?" He shook his head, as his appearance suddenly merged into a completely different person.
Kayla's screams quickly increased, until her eyes shot open, showing her pupils to be black. All of a sudden her arms ripped back and a black wave shot out from her, the shock wave pushing everyone back. Kayla fell to the floor, unconscious, as the rest of the team slowly picked themselves up.
"What was that?" Simmons inquired.
"Oh don't worry, it's all part of the grand plan" The man smirked, before he ran towards the window and jumped out of it.
The others quickly rushed over to see where he had gone, but found nothing on the streets below.
"Do you lot hear that?" Hunter asked, hearing a soft banging noise.
He walked over to the nearby closet and opened the doors as Ward and Kara fell out of it.
"Is anyone else feeling very confused right now?" He questioned.

Guest: I hope you enjoyed the escape. Hopefully, Skye and Kayla will eventually make up, but I think it will take a lot of work from both sides.
