A/N:

@michiko-chan27: Hoo. Good that it's a good chills. Ahahaha! I can't make Tsuna slap her. Hahaha. That's ungentlemanly. But I can make him slap her with the truth. You'll get enough of the Giglio Nero skies until the last of this. Just you wait. Hahaha! And let's see about Skull and Tsuna. Who knows. Skull might move or not.

@acertainpasserby: Ahahaha! Have you seen fan arts of Tsuna in short hair? He looks so dashing in there! The cape is Giotto's which was in the relics room since it was owned by the greatest sorcerer and stuff. Kyouya and Hana made one of the DC steal it from the relics room (hope Madam Cara doesn't notice it). I have to add the badboy thing cause if Skull isn't wimpy in the canon, he'll be super badass with the studs and make-ups. Aria has her own truth. Hahaha! Oh. Damn. Some spelled it like Simoun so I kinda followed it cause it sounds and looks cool. But I'll change it later on. Thanks for the heads up on it. Oh, and sorry about Haya and Take. I think they'll be present next week, promise!

@ShadowEmperor2031: I like your username. It gives me the Solo leveling vibes. Anyway, I'm happy she pissed you off. Hahaha. And thank you!

Thanks for the reviews! Hoo. I feel a little flustered since I channeled my inner bitch-y (opsies Hahaha) attitude on Aria when I was writing this and the last chapter, and it feels nice that you got pissed at her. Hahaha!

So Imma drop this third and last update of the week. Hope ya'll enjoy it.

(HAPPY CHAPTER FIFTY EVERYONE!)

Anyway, onwards!

Chapter Fifty

Tsuna sighed as he looked up to the sky of Fiant. It was beautiful. River of stars ran from east to west, illuminating the sky even though the moon isn't present. He slowly traced some constellations he knew while thinking of the the sudden urge to do some camping outside. He can already picture himself sitting in front of a camp fire with a mug of hot chocolate in hands. Probably share heat with Reborn-

He immediately shook his head at the thought. However, heat still flooded to his head, attacking his neck, cheeks and ears. His eyes peered inside the ballroom to see the hitman talking to another high demon with a goblet of wine in his hand. He looked back to the scenery in front of him, as he rested his arms on the railing to have a small leisure.

The Arcobaleno were having fun. After a minute of entering the room, they dispersed. The only one who stayed beside him the longest were Skull and Reborn. He shooed them away to at least make themselves enjoy the party. He did plan to slip away to the open balcony and stay there after the dispersion but he got caught up to the demons he had 'saved' from the clutch of their human summoners. They talked to him, told him the effect of his spells and how painful his attacks were. He mostly listened since he's not a talker himself (he should've asked his Tousan and Kaasan about this kind of situation) before excusing himself from the company.

Of what he heard, Verde was invited by some scientist of the Giglio Nero. Lal and Colonnello were pulled in a good conversation about security and military. Viper was asked to do some readings. Bermuda was pulled somewhere. Fon was caught up with some other demons with different cultures. He lost track of Skull, and Reborn got himself on a talk with someone he knew. As for him, he wanted to breath because parties are really uncomfortable for him. Especially socializing because he's really socially awkward.

Good thing he didn't see Aria yet. He suggested that they pay her a greeting for inviting them like any other traditions, but the others were really excited that only Reborn and Skull answered him. He doesn't know what to think, really. He doesn't even know what's so great about this party. But maybe the others have their own agenda, and he's the only one who doesn't have one.

Reading the time with the use of the sky, he estimated that it's two hours before midnight.

"You have been here for a while." A feminine voice said, catching his attention. "Is the party boring you?"

He glanced at his right side to see a high demon in human form. He remembers her as Aria from Reborn's memory. "No. I'm rather not fond of such festivities."

"Yet you heed my invitation."

Tsuna looked at the sky again as he straightened his posture, hands dropping to his sides. "My summons want to come, and I want to grant such wish to see the child of their late sky."

"Hm..."

'Tsuna?' Skull's voice resounded. 'Where are you? Aria went gone. I'm worried.'

"Byakuran and I were speaking terms." Aria stated, gazing at the view he sees himself. "He told me about your last encounter.

'I'm at the balcony, Skull.' He answered as he nodded. "I assume he talked with Kawahira too?"

"You know Kawahira?" The woman gasped, a little taken back from what he had said.

Tsuna nodded, keeping his face void of any emotions. "I happen to know what he had done for the sake of overseeing the balance of the worlds. Since you and Byakuran are the rulers of Noerim and Mios, he must have created a connection with the two of you."

"Unfortunately, Vixos is reigned over by humans." Aria disappointedly sighed. "A shame really. Kawahira was willing to have connection if it was a demon who controls that part of Fiant."

Tsuna mulled on this fact and eventually agreed. "True. Demons can talk to demons alike since they know how tricky each other are. Humans and demons don't really see eye to eye, so misunderstanding can lead to big things. Sometimes, the former is too high to reach. Other times, it's the latter who becomes to mighty. Or vice versa. They don't know the capacity of each other to deceive, so quite understandable for Kawahira's part."

"You're one hypocrite." The Giglio Nero said in disbelief before she covered her mouth as if she didn't mean to say that.

"I've been called worse." He gave a small smirk as he nodded. If they think he's a hypocrite and his views are like ones, so be it.

"H-How can you say such a thing about your race? Don't you feel intimidated by us? You were almost killed by Pride if it wasn't for the Arcobaleno! You're revolving your world with all demons and doesn't even socialize with other humans!"

"Is it wrong to see the world in an equal standing? Saying bad things about both races that are considered factual by any rational minds? Just because you're a demon, it doesn't mean you can't see the faults of your fellow kin. I do not discriminate because discrimination doesn't change anything. Hypocrite? I don't mind being called one. I am after all a human." Tsuna gave the demon a side glance. "They say those who does not acknowledge their mistakes and faults can never accept change."

"Demons aren't made for changes." Aria glared. "You cannot force us to do something we do not like."

"But the era has changed as your perspective five millennia ago. Why say such thing now?"

"That change caused me to lose a mother." The Giglio Nero snapped. "That change your ancestor, Giotto de Vongola, has insisted caused us a lot of kin to be killed just to stop the Sins from advancing further! My mother, who did not want to sacrifice her life for me and her elements, did it under the deceit you humans spun! Have you ever wondered why no human had died except for the ignorant sorcerer? Because he planned to destroy us demons with the use of the Sins!"

Silence.

"Well, aren't you twisted." Tsuna sighed as he combed a hand on his hair. "You didn't really know why Luce Giglio Nero did her sacrifice, did you?"

Aria did not talk, reigning over her anger.

Brown eyes gazed at livid midnight blue ones. "You didn't dig deeper to understand the importance of her life. Your mother's life was a necessary sacrifice because with your passed down ability of clairvoyance, she had entered millions of lives and experienced life and death at the same time. She knew the relief and pain. Isn't that the reason why she collected the Arcobaleno?"

"Quiet."

"To complete a task she knew was inevitable to stop? A future that needs to be changed after she accepted the faults of your kind? The future she wants you to experience after sacrificing her life-"

"I said quiet you measly low life!" Aria growled, her own sky aura flailing around them and threatening him. "You do not know what I've been through for all the years my mother wasn't with me! You do not know how much I reached out for the Arcobaleno to come to me! How much I hate you for acquiring all of them without any effort!"

Tsuna stared at her before turning his back.

"You don't know how much we sacrificed-"

"Don't say we when you're only thinking of yourself."

Aria gave a pained gasp as wave of intense sky aura rolled of from the brunet. She had to grip the railing beside her to keep herself from bucking on her spot and kneeling. The aura felt so... Angry and unforgiving. It hurts and suffocates and devastating. Not even her aura can fight such power. Even if Yuni joined her, they won't stand a chance. As much as theirs are pure, the human's is encompassing, just like the sky above them.

"Tizia Fiore sacrificed her sanity because she knew too much of this world. She knew things and learned impossible ones that should not be touched. It drived her to the borderline of stability and craziness. Her sacrifice was needed to shut off the minds of the Seven Sins. Luce Giglio Nero gave her life for the sake of all demons who will be regenerated, and for her daughter who thinks she's so high that she can stare down at measly-" Orange eyes intensified as they glared at her. "-lowlives and claim things she didn't 'take effort' of having. Her life cut off the life source of the Sins to keep them weak from fighting off the seal and enough if ever they wake up.

"Kawahira sacrificed his mortality because he loves both races. He clings to them too dearly for some reason he cannot disclose. But you know what's funny? He's also human. He was like Giotto de Vongola. He was like me. Because the loss of mortality only applies to mortals. His sacrifice was needed as a signal for the breaking of the seal. Once the Sins awaken, he will feel it and he will commence with the final plan to stop them."

Aria gasped as another wave crushed into her, causing her to keel. As if mocking her, Tsuna slowly crouched down in front of her, eyes still in their molten color. He was expressing how angry he is.

"Giotto de Vongola, the greatest sorcerer of all time, sacrificed his blood. For what purpose? For his descendants to be sacrifices for anything that will benefit the world. You said he's my ancestor? Guess what, my predecessors have sacrificed their lives for all your sakes. For every demons' sakes. Some were killed for protecting your kin. A lot have died after getting deceived. But do you know what was so great about my family? We never think bad about you. You kept ranting on and on about humans' status. Of how low our lives were revolting. And here we are, praising you like saints because we know you deserve it even though your race have enslaved us for millennia.

"With all honesty, you're not as great as your mother. You grew up with her for half of a millennium, enough time for you to do decisions you don't need her advices for, yet you shouted as if you lost her at a young age. You lost the essence of your life after believing your own truth. You can't use the pronoun 'we' because you never considered such a thing. It was always I in the end for you. You did not sacrifice anything. You did not do anything. Nor did you give your all. You did things for your benefit. Not for your daughter, but for your own gain.

"I knew you invited me here to slap the fact in my face that you are the perfect sky my summons need. You have what they want. You have the aura that will benefit them. You thought, that since they were led by your mother, you deserve them as your elements too. That after you, your daughter will be followed by them. And with all honesty, I don't care."

"Wha-"

"Because at the end of the day, they'll come back home. They'll seek home. They'll crave the warmth of home. And I might not be a perfect sky like you, but I know to myself that they don't need a selfish sky who will only need them for her own family's convenience, for her own twisted truth. The use of my contract incantation was a mock on me because you anticipated it that they'll leave me for you without fulfilling their promises."

Aria's eyes widened, confirming his suspicions.

"You can try and take everything from me, I dare you. I'll even encourage you. But remember one thing," Orange bleed to brown, sky aura suddenly vanished without any trace. "what's mine is mine and they'll never be yours."

Aria watched as the brunet stood up just as a small body collides to hers. She looked at Yuni who stood her ground firmly and stared at Tsuna with a hardened expression. It's as if her daughter is trying to intimidate Tsuna to leave her alone. The older Giglio Nero can't help herself from being struck shocked.

Why?

"Yuni, right?" Tsuna questioned. The little girl nodded solemnly. Brown eyes flickered to Aria's direction before smiling at the little girl who blinked her eyes as if she's seeing something surprising. "Don't take up on your mother. Grow up like a fine lady with a factual life. You have the gift, use it for your convenience. Change them to do what is right, and find your own set of elements because you cannot force an aura to like you just because you're purer than a crystal water."

And with that, Tsuna walked away.

Just why can't they listen to him? But no. Reborn has to be a jerk and convinced Tsuna to come even though it's unneeded then convinced him to come too for their summoner's sake.

Wait. Isn't this his fault for not quickly searching for him? Or even look out for him? Damn. He should've stayed. Tsuna was probably alone all this time while he kept other demons company. What the hell? What kind of contractor is he?

Skull looked everywhere to find a certain brunet when a sky aura bursted in anger. It wasn't Tsuna, but something near to Luce. It was Aria's. It's pretty powerful since some demons couldn't handle the force so they kinda succumbed to it. Few even keeled, leaning to the table for balance.

Well, yeah. The aura is pure. It encompasses all and can make everyone submit. But it's not something he'll like. He's more to Tsuna's thing. That kind of nonchalant acceptance and willingness to let go. It may look like Tsuna doesn't care, but he's pretty possessive about them. Cause even if he let them go, they'll always come back for him. No one can resist the gravitational pull toward the brunet.

The cloud arcobaleno recoiled when a familiar wave of sky aura pressed down Aria's. He had to roll back his shoulders to remove the tension before running toward the source. The aura is unhappy. Angry and almost felt like Tsuna wants to rip something apart. It feels... Unusual since he never saw the brunet get mad. Well, Pride was an exception since Tsuna only gave a threat.

"Luce Giglio Nero gave her life-"

Skull stopped on his tracks before he can even enter the balcony after he heard Luce's name getting mentioned by his sky. He felt like he needed to hear this. To know what Tsuna's information about the history of the war. The brunet didn't elaborate that much when he mentioned it to Byakuran who attacked him and Reborn months ago.

"-for the sake of all demons who will be regenerated and for her daughter who thinks she's so high that she can stare down at measly lowlives and claim things she didn't take effort of having."

Skull bit the inside of his cheek. Aria called him a low life? Humans are more than that. They're the greatest creation that can either create or destroy the world. Why do demons think like that? Why perceive humans like that?

"Her life cut off the life source of the Sins to keep them weak from fighting off the seal and enough if ever they wake up."

Skull stilled and looked at Tsuna who gave every information he knew about Kawahira and Giotto, and talked how stupid Aria is. He almost stepped back when he heard that their Sky's bloodline were offered as sacrifices. Is it because Giotto sacrificed his life for the sake of the seal? What will happen to Tsuna then? With the Seven Sins awake and kickin'? Was Byakuran's and Aria's daring moves were signs that they need Tsuna to stop the Sins?

He can feel his aura churning at the idea. He started to go back to his memories. Back to when Vongola royalties reigned. His heart clenched as he remembered how much the royal family sacrificed when they ascended the throne. Even when they became sorcerers. He remembered the news about Giotto's father sacrificing himself to free humans and demons alike from unbreakable curses, about his mother who kept her lips tightly closed when humans and demons hunted her son and lover and decided to question her, only resorted to being killed.

Then there's Ietsuna Sawada who got caught up to Pride's scheme and killed him in front of his grandson. A sacrifice to show power, only to get killed by the grandson's summons. Knowing Tsuna, he'll do the noble thing and will sacrifice himself for the sake of his family and friends.

Why can't the Vongola be selfish for once?

"How long were you've been here? Skull? Reborn?"

The stuntman snapped out of his stupor and shook his head. "Just got here."

"I already called the others the moment I couldn't reach you." Reborn said, invading the question. "We should go now."

The brunet nodded, face smoothed down to emotionlessness. "We should. I'm tired."

"And famished." Skull chirped in as they started to walk. "Why didn't you eat?"

"I slipped away. I couldn't stand the crowd." Tsuna shrugged.

"Tsuna." The Cloud called, voice unlikely to sound worried. "About your... Line. Is it true?"

All three of them stopped walking. Reborn kept his back to them, but Skull knew he was listening.

A small chuckle before nodding. "Yup. It was what Jii-jii said to me when I was young. The other information were from this diary I found in the school library. It was written in Hebrew and Latin that's why no one bothered to read it. I've done my research about them. All of them. Connected the dots and understood what they needed to do. What they had to do. I don't know if I'll give such significance or my children in the future will. But all I know is that the blood in my veins is meant to be an offering."

"We'll talk about this at home." Reborn stated.

"No." Tsuna sighed. "All you heard back there, don't tell it to the other Arcobaleno. You can tell them about Luce. But not Tizia, Kawahira and Giotto. No one knows what will happen if these information will scatter. I only told them to Aria because she's..." The brunet sighed again, face almost scowling and trying to control it. "She thinks Luce's death wasn't warranted. And she's just too selfish for my liking. I just need to put her into a place."

'What's wrong?' Lal queried.

'Nothing.' Tsuna replied before any of his nearby demons do. He started to walk towards the door. 'Continue on, everyone. I'm just tired. I'm going home first.'

Reborn and Skull stared at the human who left them.

'How about your ride?' Bermuda questioned in worry.

'I think I can open a portal like you do. Just a try.' Tsuna answered before stepping out of the ballroom.

'But you're going alone, Tsuna. You need someone with you if you're going home. At least see you off.' Fon suggested.

'I'll accompany him.' Skull said, making the brunet look behind him to see him and Reborn following him close.

'I'm coming.' The three of them looked at each other at what Colonnello said. 'Wait for me by the entrance.'

'O-Okay. Watch out for Verde for me?' Tsuna bid to the remaining others.

'Sure.' A chorus of answer.

Colonnello arrived after two minutes. What they didn't expect was the grim expression on the Rain's face and the immediate hug he gave to Tsuna when he reached them. Tsuna sagged when rain aura flooded his system and made his agitation and anger on what happened in the balcony flush out of him. Reborn quietly reached out for Tsuna's hand and they suddenly found themselves in the brunet's room.

Colonnello asked the brunet of what he feels and if he is okay. Skull took the initiatives and removed the cape off the kid and stashed it away carefully. After that, Skull and Colonnello opened their own portals and left the two. Tsuna and Reborn.

Reborn just stood by the side as Tsuna removed his coat with the vest, and tried to pull the tie off only to give up when it won't come off and sigh in defeat before sitting on the bed with hands gripping his hair. The hitman can hear the mantra of 'happy thoughts' being mumbled over and over, accompanied with deep breathes. With this happening, the brunet won't get out of his suit before going to bed, so he decided to take it on himself.

"You pull it, not try ripping it apart." Reborn advised as he crouched down in front of the surprised young man. "Release your shirt from being tucked in and removed the belt for more room to breath." And he tugged the tie off before flinging it to the chair nearby.

"You're not saying that I seduce you here, right?" Tsuna kidded, as he did what was told.

"If you open your fly and unzip the zipper, sure. That can pass on as an invitation." He joined along, smiling a little at how playful his human is. "Feeling better?"

"Yeah." The brunet hummed before smiling at him. "Thank you Reborn."

"Always." The hitman promised. "I'll always be by your side, Tsuna."

Their smiles dropped as they stared at each other.

"I'm scared." Tsuna whispered, eyes dulling a little with negative emotions. "She's really planning to take all of you. It's like all of you were meant to be hers in the first place. That after her mother died, you were expected to gravitate towards her and become her elements. It feels... So weird. So weird being called an usurper when I don't even know she needed you. She's surrounded by a lot of elements, yet why does she wants the seven of you? What if the others do go to her? What if she does succeed? I don't know what to think, Reborn."

"You're possessive, Tsuna." The hitman chuckled.

Tsuna huffed. "You are my demons. You're mine."

"Then you must remember that I didn't accept her. She tried once and failed. She can try again, I tell you she'll fail again. Others can go to her just like what you said, but I will never ever leave you again. You're my sky. I like you. And I love you. And it will be a death sentence for me to leave you again because of my stupidity."

Tsuna didn't know what happened to him. One moment he was staring at those onyx eyes, the next thing he knew, he closed his eyes as his lips touched Reborn's. It was... Sweet. A gentle touch that it felt like it never happened when he pulled away and looked at the baffled hitman in the eyes.

God. He didn't really eat nor drink a lot in the party. But he felt so high up. His heart is racing yet he felt so calm. He should be embarrassed of what he did. He should be blushing and spluttering, stammering excuses that he didn't mean it.

Hell. He means it to the bottom of his heart. Why not? That confession was worth it of the kiss. He loves Reborn. And he will flood hell if he has to if one wants him to prove it.

"I love you too."

If Reborn went back to the Arcobaleno house with the biggest grin on his lips and a small blush on his pale cheeks that Skull and Colonnello have first time seeing, they didn't say anything and shrugged it off until much later.
