A/N:
@michiko-chan27: Hahaha! The sacrificers won't be able to talk to Tsuna if he splits into three. And Kawahira is the overseer of everything, another reason why he's immortal. But I just want to insert Kyouya. Since he's the little brother and he wants to cuddle Tsuna without the brunet teasing him about it. Ahahaha! Nope. Read this chapter and you'll know why the Arcobaleno became babies. HAHAHA! It's certainly not because of sealing the sins millennia ago. And yup. He needs the small demon blood in him to make the sacrifice he needs to do in the future. And no probs. Although if you put animated or something beside the 'demon' on the search bar. But that's just me. Hahaha..
@LavaLilly: I hope so.
@acertainpasserby: Thanks God you like their interactions. I thought they were cringe or something. Nah. Ira won't come. He's busy, but I want you to know how the sins will act, like get to know Greed better or have a sneak peak of him. And we can't torture Belial. Really. HAHAHA. Even if we want to, we can't because he's pretty much powerful than anyone combined. We don't want anyone to die, do we? And Tsuna will wake up. Don't worry.
@Guest: It's gone. The contracts and the symbols were all gone. But they don't need to make a new one. All they need is for Tsuna to wake up then their back. That simple.
Thank You for all the reviews! HAHAHA! I hope you like this chapter. Please don't mind the typos and grammar errors. Sorry for being late, here's the first update of the week.
Anyway, go on. Don't mind me.
Chapter Fifty-Four
Eight heads perked up at the sudden intrusion in the territory. Three of them in the Sky's room, three in the Arcobaleno house and two more on their mission. The only one who didn't give a reaction was their sleeping human.
Bermuda flexed his shoulders, feeling the dead tale sign of familiarity of the auras on those four intruders. They felt dangerous and too... Dark. Much like Pride and Wrath. But Wrath's aura has a light sky aura in it, probably because of Tsuna's influence.
Verde's eyes went electric green in disgust while his whole face went stoic, clean and expressionless. He closed the book in his hands, put it on the side table and stood up. He collected the things he needed and was about to go when he remembered the pacifier. He snatched it from the place he kept it from before going out of his haven.
Lal stashed two handguns on their holsters by her thighs before going out. Mist and rain auras slowly and strongly making their desires to lash out. What the leader did will bite the subordinates' asses.
Skull let out a groan as he ran a hand down to his face. Glancing at Viper, who nodded with the same grieve air as him, he stepped in to his own portal. Hell's gonna pay for sending four fucking Sins on their territory.
Viper mentally connected the Arcobaleno's minds, including himself, as he followed Skull's example. It's either they came to have fun or for Tsuna.
"I'll inform Kyouya." Fon said as he rose from his seat.
"Think that's a good idea? The kid hates you." Reborn teased while fixing his ruffled dress shirt. He smirked at the grimace on the Storm's face. "Thought so."
"Don't rub in salt on my wounds, Reborn." Fon admonished.
"I'll tell him, kora." Colonnello volunteered before calculating eyes gazed outside the window. "But search for Enma, Hana and Kensuke. Probably Nezu-sensei too. They're on top of the 'to keep safe' list, kora."
"I will. I am the fastest after all." Fon grinned before he disappeared with a whisp of smoke.
Reborn snorted while putting his coat on. "Dramatic."
Colonnello only snickered and opened his portal just inside Kyouya's office.
"Ah." The hitman blurted causing the blond to look at him. "Tell Hibari to save as much students as possible. There will be a possibility that Gluttony is on starvation."
"Shit."
"And tell him that he, too, is not a hero." Reborn glanced at the sleeping brunet beside him. "Save as much as he can for death is unavoidable. And I don't think he'll back down a fight, so tell him to pick the right opponent. Tsuna won't like it if his little brother disappears."
Colonnello went in the portal with a nod. "Roger."
Reborn straightened his tie as two guns materialized on the bed. Leaning back to the headrest, he caressed Tsuna's hair who leaned on his hand.
"Do your worst, Seven Sins." He challenged as onyx orbs flashed yellow. "I wish you good luck."
He felt so... Light. So free and warm.
Tsuna opened his eyes as he wakes up. Wait. Did he even fall asleep a while ago? He doesn't remember closing his eyes. But then again, if he was that tired, he would have. However... Tired? What happened that made him tired? Did he hunt down bullies again? Or play with Kyouya? Read all day long? Perhaps become bored enough to get tired?
While musing himself with his thoughts, he inspected his surrounding. It's a SOP to do so. It's not bad to do it if you see yourself getting attacked by a mob of bullies as you wake up. His eyes roamed around, taking on the lack of things and only see vastness of color blotches that contains all shades of the rainbow. He tried to sit up, only to yelp in surprise when he suddenly felt himself falling. He cringed and closed his eyes at the possible (if there is any floor out there) impact.
Thanks God someone took his arm that stopped him from falling.
"Your thoughts are all over the place, kid." Tsuna snapped open his eyes to see who saved him. The lady smiled insanely. "All over the place yet still quiet and somewhat organized."
"Uh... Thanks?" Tsuna expressed in an unsure manner. How did she even know what he's thinking? A psychic?
The lady laughed and helped him stand up. "You're good. But no. I'm not a psychic. I saw your pokerface fell for a second so I know you're thinking things. Good job calming down."
"Nah. I don't really try to impress." The brunet waved off humbly as he looked around. "I can sit right? We're just floating and something?"
The lady made an 'o' with her mouth. "Never thought of that. I don't really know even, since it's my first time here too. I just got a hang of the floating flying thing."
Tsuna grinned. "Hold me."
The lady held his arm as he folded a leg slowly before folding the other to make a pretzel with them. They made excited sounds when he didn't fall after the lady let him go, then started to laugh at their silliness. While at it, Tsuna discretely assessed the lady in front of him.
The lady has a neck-length chopped hair with shoulder long bangs. Tan skin and peanut brown eyes. She has a lot of piercings and different on each ear. He counted five different piercings on the right and four on the left. It was honestly unique. She's wearing a white tunic shirt with long sleeve on the left and elbow length sleeve on the right, brown pants (thank God it doesn't have different cuts too) and no shoes. But she has cute toenails.
Tsuna approved. She has an unique fashion sense.
"I see, you're getting to know each other already." A male orotund voice remarked, causing the two of them to look behind him. "It is nice to finally meet you, Tsunayoshi." A blond with gravity defying hair and blue eyes in pinstripe suit complete with the oh-so-familiar cape he used on the party three days ago.
Tsuna blinked his eyes. "Wait. Am I dead?"
"Oh no." The lady with the blond negated. The short dark green hair with long tail, midnight blue eyes, white dress with orange belt and the mushroom like white hat. Yup. This is Luce Giglio Nero. "You're not dead, Tsunayoshi."
"Then please explain to me why the heck am I seeing the three of you?" Tsuna sighed before putting his attention to the lady he was talking to awhile ago. "I bet all my books that you're Tizia Fiore."
"I am the Tizia Fiore, late queen of Mios. A pleasure to be your acquaintance." Tizia confirmed with a small giggle.
"Tsunayoshi Sawada." The brunet offered his hand with a small smile. "Your knowledge about the world is extraordinary. Too bad you weren't born in my time to write such discoveries. I could've been your greatest fan."
"Such a shame indeed." Tizia agreed as she took the offered hand and shook it. "You're well verse too. Very, that you didn't question such dimension we are in."
"Mah. When you get to fight bullies here and there, humans and demons alike, ambush like this doesn't surprise me anymore." And they withdrew their hands.
Peanut brown eyes twinkled in delight. "You're a gift. We'll get along."
The two giggled again with devious edges that could've sent shiver to those who can see them.
"No please." The blond whined, stopping the two scheming mega-minds. "I like Tizia. I don't want to deal with Byakuran. He's too playful."
Tsuna snorted. "Tell me about it. He attacked my convoy on the way to the academy just because he felt like it. We almost died. But revenge is pretty sweet."
"I like this kid." Tizia commented, earning a good wink from the brunet.
"Now," The youngest among them said with finality as he looked at the three straight in the eyes. "tell me what do you need me for. I cannot stay long because I bet there is something out there that I have to return to."
"They'll be fine." A new male voice said. A figure materialized between Giotto and Luce. A man with grey hair and purple eyes under round specs said. "They are your elements, after all."
Tsuna grimaced as he remembered what happened before he reached his state which abled him to meet the four sacrificers. God. "Please tell me I incinerated at least half of Belial's body? And alerted them? I don't want to break my promise to Viper."
"Rest assured, Tsunayoshi." Luce smiled, almost with a tinge of sadness. "You did all of those."
"We are here to tell you the final plan. The necessary steps to finally seal the Sins." The blond stirred to the original topic. "I am Giotto de Vongola. It is-"
Bam!
Tsuna punched him square on the face. Other than he's so pleased with the fact that he could touch a 'living' ghost in this weird dimension they're in, he felt so good to hear the familiar 'crack' of bone that only a direct hit would make. Quickly, he used the space to deliver a vicious kick on the blond's stomach, not giving any time for his 'ancestor' to breathe, before taking his collar and made him face him. He stared at those startled blue eyes with so much anger. He's furious, livid, royally infuriated.
How dare he say he's pleased to meet him when he cursed his bloodline? When he gave so much compassion to his descendants and put the biggest one on him?
"Thank you for saving me awhile ago. But frankly, you deserve that." And he let him go.
"I'm sorry." Giotto apologized as he wiped the blood from his chin after stumbling down from the rude push.
"Your apology will never cut through all the sacrifice your descendants had to do however sincere it is." Tsuna spat as he glared at his left side, not wanting to appear disrespectful to the greatest sorcerer. "Why can't you be fucking selfish? We don't deserve such deaths."
"I'm afraid a Vongola is never selfish, Tsunayoshi." His ancestor replied with a sad expression. "I'm sorry about Ietsuna."
Tsuna 'tsk'-ed. He blinked his eyes and thought of Reborn trying to calm him down. His right hand twitched at the ghost warm hand enveloping his. Slowly, his irritation simmered to low level.
"Now now." The new comer, he knew as Kawahira from the Arcobaleno's memories, mollified as he helped Giotto up. "Your grandfather will be proud of you for punching Giotto. You do deserve that."
The blond groaned and slapped the upside of Kawahira who only laughed. Tizia helped Tsuna return to his original sitting position while Luce only giggled from the side. Taking a deep breathe, Tsuna focused on the issue they're about to tackle.
The sealing of the Sins.
"What do I need to do?" Tsuna questioned calmly, garnering their attentions. "What do I need to do to seal the Sins?"
'He's already okay? What a control.' The late Mios queen mused, eyes perking up at the change of atmosphere on the child.
The four looked at each other and nodded.
"I discovered that you can seal them with the help of your elements." Kawahira informed. The air around the five of them rose with seriousness and tension. "Each of your elements must touch the sin before you deliver the final blow on the forehead."
"Why so?" Luce asked, a little skeptic about the plan. "We could've done the same if it was that simple."
"Because Tsunayoshi is harmonized with them." Their informer simply stated. Tsuna gawked in surprised. "They could've sealed Pride if he and Verde touched him. Remember how Pride suddenly went weak after your summons continuously attacked him?"
"I thought it was because we caught him offguard." Tsuna murmured, theories start to form in his head, mind opening memories and terms and likes to give him ideas. "But he did get weak. Especially when Reborn appeared and started to attack him with my aura as a booster. Is it possible to overload them with all the auras to make them weak beyond probability?"
"Imaginable." The late Giglio Nero Sky uttered. "We could've able to achieve such theory if we didn't follow..."
Tsuna looked away. Tizia and Kawahira were able to discern what that gesture meant.
"But if we didn't follow it, Kawahira wouldn't realize the solution now." Giotto countered, hand motioning to his descendant's way. "Because of Tsunayoshi, we are able to come up with a solution."
"It is an interesting discovery." Tizia approved while staring at the floor in thoughts. "Since the elements of the sky are known to be pure, as long as the sky holds such absolute resolve, you will be able to purify a sin's aura to remove the corruption in their systems."
"It's like an exorcism." Kawahira shortened, looking at Tsuna straight in his brown eyes. "But all you need to do is put your own sky mark on their foreheads and it's done."
"So I'm the only one who has a specific spot to put a mark?" Tsuna questioned. The immortal nodded. "Like Verde can touch Lust in the arm and electrify her right? But is it possible to use weapons instead of direct contact? Or like do a beam like how Xanxus or Byakuran does?"
"Good idea." The great sorcerer praised before gazing at Kawahira who went thinking. "For example are Envy and Gluttony. Come too close, you'll be in their own parts of hell."
"I haven't thought of such idea." Kawahira input. "But I suppose it can be since some of the Arcobaleno used their weapons and was able to bring Pride to his knees."
Tsuna's eyes sparkled. "Oho. I can experiment on that. Verde will gradually and voluntarily help me."
"Very well."
Luce rolled her eyes. "Please. Pride might be older than Lust but that boy isn't as strong as the youngest."
"Pardon?" The brunet raised his brows, a little insulted. "You just insulted my summons' credibility."
"N-No. I didn't mean to say it like that." She denied immediately, a little taken back.
Tsuna smiled pleasantly, making the late sky Arcobaleno pale. "Kidding. My summons are the strongest. Even Ira acknowledged them."
Giotto blinked at how scary the brunet was.
The late Mios queen chuckled. "Burn."
"But," Tsuna eyed Kawahira with his grin turning slyly. "I would like you to return the powers you took from them if you want our help in this."
"It's not like you have a choice here, Tsunayoshi." Giotto winced.
"Oh. Giotto. It's not me who doesn't have a choice in here. It's Kawahira-ji-san." The brunet braced his chin with a hand, a finger tapping his cheek. "I may know what to do, but I assure you I won't do it. Like who cares if the world cracks and get destroyed? Definitely not me." Tsuna maintained his sly grin. "I am the leader of the Arcobaleno. They do what they think is right. If I give enough reason, they won't hesitate agreeing with me. And even if they do know what they had to do and search for a sky, such as Aria, Yuni or Byakuran to do the deed, it won't be successful because they aren't powerful enough to overload the Sins with sky flames. They aren't even harmonized which is the most fundamental thing that is needed for this sealing."
The four stared at him, a little perplexed and scared at what he was saying. More like how true they were.
"I am the greatest sky after all. My aura can even flood Fiant and Mundane if I want to, bring down my fellow skies to their knees, and be feared by demons and humans with sheer combat ability. So it's either Kawahira-ji-san gives us the pacifiers or keep them and the world will be destroyed."
"You'll be killed also." Tizia pointed out.
Tsuna shrugged. "At least I died peacefully. May heaven accept me."
"Wait. What power? What is these pacifiers?" Luce queried in horror. "What did you do Kawahira?"
"The Arcobaleno almost destroyed Fiant in a power play so I took three-fourth of their auras for safe keeping and punishment." Kawahira explained patiently. "It was also for a good cause. To make them stronger. They were able to make that remaining one-fourth to become a hundred percent and utilize the power."
"Wait." Tsuna halted him with an awed expression. "That means the power I felt from all of them when I established our contracts were genuinely like the old percentage of their aura?"
The immortal smiled. "Yes. And you're the only one who was able to survive all of them."
"Then if you add their power from the pacifier..." Giotto trailed off, eyes widening.
"Shit. Whole knew level of Arcobaleno!" The late Mios queen cheered. "I can't believe it! You're Godsent, Kawahira!"
"It was necessary." Kawahira waved off before nodding at Tsuna's direction. "I'm honestly threatened of the loophole you saw in the plan. I didn't see it coming. Regardless, I will give them to you. The pacifiers."
"Thank you Kawahira-ji-san!" Tsuna teased, earning laughs.
The immortal rolled his eyes. "You're the only one who can go with that without me reprimanding you."
"Well, I am the only human you know in this era." The brunet shrugged. "And all of those are bluffs. If Hana-chan and Kyouya heard me, even Mochida-sempai, they will never let me live that down. And Kaasan and Tousan are still out there. I don't want them died after I lost Jii-jii."
The brunet cachinnated when the four's jaws dropped.
Dismissing their reactions, Tsuna thought of giving the pacifiers to their owners. He wonders if he would see the Arcobaleno in their demon forms. Especially Reborn's. His heart pumped in excitement and adoration. God. Good thing the others aren't there. They'll definitely tease him after reading his mind (Lal will throw him knowing looks while Colonnello will wiggle his brows. Skull will surely say things to make him blush as a comeback for calling him an old man, and Verde. The biggest troll will really give him scientific facts about something that will make Reborn smirk at him.) to no end.
"Tsunayoshi." Giotto called, almost hesitant.
He looked at his ancestor with query.
"May I come near you?" A question for a permission.
Tsuna sighed. "It really pains me why I have to gain such a big heart when I've been done wronged so many times."
"I'm sorry." Giotto apologized as he hugged his descendant. Tears streamed down to the blond's cheeks as he realized how much his line suffered for the sake of others. "I've put so much burden in you. To all of you. I was selfish. I didn't think of the future nor your lives. Our line must've perished because of my selfishness."
"Nah." Tsuna unfolded his legs to stand and hugged his ancestor back. "It's fine. Even if I wasn't born as a Sawada, fate would still hate me and will dump me all the sky aura in the world. I'll still meet the Arcobaleno, fall in love with one amazing Reborn, meet Ira, be attacked by the Sins and Belial and then be here. Talking to you." He snuggled closer, burying his face on the older man's shoulder. It was warm and home and safe. So safe that he wants to bask himself to it as it lasts long. "It's always the heart, Giotto. The bigger the heart, the more we give forgiveness."
"I know."
"So stop apologizing. I've forgiven you the moment I punched you." He pulled away and looked at the man's tear stained face. "You're one cry baby."
"You should've seen him when we agreed to his plans." Tizia informed with a good grin as he wiped Giotto's tears. "I wonder who would be the oldest between you if we exist in your time."
Tsuna halted from his movements, musing himself on the thought. His hands twitched subtly when an idea entered his mind. Giotto worriedly gazed at him that he dismissed with a brow raised before continuing what he was doing to his ancestor. "I would be."
"Oh. I could tell." Tizia clapped in glee. "You'll be all cuddly and protective of him if you could."
"I'll even change the world for him." Tsuna smiled as Giotto gasped at his announcement. "Didn't you know, Giotto? I'm planning to have a world where demons will live with humans and humans will accept. This era I live in is the exact opposite of your era. And I'm sick and tired of seeing them suffer as much as you were whenever you see humans suffer in the hands of demons."
"That will be impossible, Tsunayoshi." Luce remarked uncomfortably. "You cannot dictate such price. It is what we had to stop five millennia ago. The population of human race will extinct if demons will live with you again. War between demons will happen if such situation will be done. The Earth will be destroyed."
Tsuna shrugged, making the four them stare at him like he's a madman. But his lackluster attitude got negated by his eyes that blazed with determination, causing them to turn orange with such will. "It's either I change it or I destroy it. If I can't do of those two, I'll make a new choice."
"Such determination." Tizia muttered before she eyed Kawahira. "You need to help him, Kawahira."
"I will do my best." The immortal promised earnestly.
Tizia opened her mouth and closed it again as she looked upward. With a wince, she turned to Tsuna. "You need to go back. You're under attack."
"Ha? But I haven't talked to you yet!" The brunet protested as he let go of Giotto who was smiling. "I haven't asked you about the world, what you discovered and what you know. With your knowledge, we can think a lot of plans of how I can change it. How I can make it a better place for my family, my friends and my elements."
"I can pass it on Byakuran." Tizia offered. "Like how Giotto helped you and how Luce will gift her granddaughter."
"Fine." He sighed before he gave a feral grin. "I haven't forgiven Byakuran though. He almost killed Reborn. He needs to apologize."
Kawahira chuckled. "I assure you that he will, Tsunayoshi."
Tsuna stretched his arms and body before nodding at them. "So do I need to go to a specific place to meditate a little so I can go back or just close my eyes right here and open it when I feel like waking up?"
"There's a specific place." Giotto replied with a chuckle, amazed at how good his descendant is. "It was nice to meet you, Tsunayoshi. If you ever change the world, or destroy it. Even have another option, I want to meet you again. I want to be a family of yours."
"Hmm.. That's odd." Tsuna laughed softly, warmth blossoming in his heart at such wish. "I suddenly want to make you my little brother." He sighed before offering his best smile. "It was nice to meet you, Giotto, Tizia."
Tizia grinned widely. "Yeah. Talk to you later, Sir Awesome."
"Likewise." Tsuna nodded before eyeing Kawahira. "I'll see you in the other side."
"I will."
"I'll show you to the door." Luce offered.
Tsuna noticed the three's reluctance but he waved at the them as he and Luce started to walked somewhere. Giotto waved back shyly, getting jested by Kawahira, causing them to run around with the greatest sorcerer wanting to bop the immortal. Tizia though gave big waves with both hands. The brunet doesn't know if he wants to grimace or laugh at the late Mios queen's antics. He really wants to talk to her though. Like understand how her mind works. Good thing she promised to talk with him through Byakuran.
He glanced sideward. To Luce who has been quiet as they go further away from the three. He wonders what she wants to talk about. Aria? The Arcobaleno? Or Reborn? Hopefully not Reborn, because seriously, entertaining the thought that she's in his era just puts a good twinge in his heart.
His mouth went 'o' as they near a lighted area. He looked up to see where the 'light' comes from but the sky in the dimension is endless. He resorted to going around it and inspecting it. It's not like he sees something like that every now and then. He estimated the circumference the light makes and figured that it can hold nine adults. He almost laughed while imagining how crumpled it will be if he and the Arcobaleno go inside it.
"You're one curious human, Tsunayoshi." Luce commented.
Tsuna smiled as he stopped flying and put a hand inside the light. "Maybe."
"Is..." Brown eyes looked at her direction. She bit her lower lip in hesitance. "Are they okay?"
"Maybe." Tsuna shrugged. "Mammon would've checked my mindscape to see any signs of waking up. Verde must've been reading books in my room to keep me company. Skull is probably reading my essays with Colonnello. Lal will be ranting about her missions. Bermuda will be anywhere and Fon is probably meditating. And Reborn..." He looked skyward and smiled. "He's probably waiting for me to wake up. But with the attack Tizia mentioned awhile ago, he must be on the front line. They will be. After all, my territory is their territory."
"You're changing them."
"For better or for worse." The brunet noted. "I can't let Verde be in his safe zone for too long. Or keep Mammon's thoughts unfiltered. Skull... He needs respect. You made them bully him for so many years without knowing his life. Lal and Colonnello could've been fixed years ago. And the things Fon had in his shoulders must have been lifted if it was solved, if someone understood him and balanced him as he balanced himself. Reborn could've moved on earlier if you gave a clear answer."
"I'm sorry."
The human closed his eyes as he pictured the Arcobaleno and his love. "No. It's fine." He opened his eyes and looked at her. "I realized that if you didn't come first, I won't see the problem in their group."
Tears dropped from Luce's eyes. "I miss them. I wish I did better. I wish I saw what you saw in them. I wish I was human at that time to understand them more and at least love them like a sky should have."
"Nah. It won't give any difference." Tsuna answered indifferently, causing the late Giglio Nero Sky stare at him in shock. "Whether you're human or demon, you will still follow what you saw, will follow what you think fate wants and will never change anything for the sake of the future. I don't even know if you did change things. But in the end, they'll still come to me." He laughed a little at how absurd he sounded. "Man. I sound so conceited. Being with Skull, Colonnello, Verde and Reborn is not good. They make me selfish and possessive. But that's what a sky should be. A home. A protective home with a good arrogance that can be backed by not only his power but with the strength of others.
"I used to envy you, you know. I used to compare myself to you. Being able to live such a long life. To meet the Arcobaleno and live with them for a millennium. To feel loved by the man who thought love doesn't exist." Tsuna slowly clenched his hands into fists. "I wanted to be a sky like you. But after taking with my Tousan, I realized that I want to be someone who can be proud of himself. I'm a human with a title of a summoner, climbing the ranks to achieve a good title of a hunter after training, and now thinking about a crash course in exorcism.
"I don't want to be like you, Luce. I don't want to follow the lines blindly and see a bright future without fixing the present. I don't want to leave my summons with painful memories of abandonment, loneliness and betrayal." He opened his palm. "If I'm gonna sacrifice myself for the better turn of the world, I want them to remember how witty I am, how weird I think, how strong I am that I can fight with them without being proven useless. I want them to remember that I'm the sky who made them eat in a one table again after a long time and closely put them back together not just as a group but as a family. And that as long as they remember me, they could not break their bonds. Because pain may linger but warmth and happiness will always stay."
Luce only stared at him.
Tsuna gave her a smile as he entered the light and dropped his hand to his side. "Thank you for following what you saw, Luce. If it wasn't for you, I won't have fun. I won't be this in love. And I won't be this determined to do such impossibility."
The late Giglio Nero Sky watched as those shining brown eyes get covered by their eyelids. The human slowly glowed until he disappeared. She slowly collapsed to the 'floor' she's standing at and cried her heart out in sorrow and happiness.
Maybe he was right. That if she didn't follow what she saw so faithfully, things won't be like this. It will be more chaotic and complicated. Reborn would still be hurting. Viper will still be isolated. Skull is not respected and still wears that mask. Verde will never step out of his room. Colonnello and Lal won't understand each other. And Fon will still be driven by the guilt of letting the clan he has to protect get killed.
Tsunayoshi Sawada was the factor that made everything clearer. He is someone who cleared all their mistakes. The sunshine after all the storms. The only one who could change the world to a better place after the mass destruction. The future she saw is so beautiful that she can't help regretting all the things she did to the Arcobaleno. She was never their leader in the first place. She was just the caller, maybe even the meddler. Cause even if she didn't do anything, they'll assemble themselves for him. They'll come to him even without her help. He was their leader in the very first place. He was the one they needed.
And he was the one Reborn would've loved in the first place.
"I'm sorry." She could only whisper in the silence of the space.
