A/N:

@michiko-chan27: Do you know how much I'm holding back right now to just not post an omake of that certain thought that what if the sacrificers did exorcise the Sins and the Arcobaleno met Tsuna after five millennia? Like what will happen? I wanted you to see what I envisioned of happening when that time comes. But anyway, I'm glad you liked it. I had some doubts on this one. Hahaha.

@Heyli13: Your grammar and spelling are okay. No worries. And I'm honored that you're reading this. I hope you don't mind my grammar and spelling mistakes.

@YozoraLupa: Thanks!

@acertainpasserby: I have the same thought. Why can't they be real? Why can't Tsuna be real? Hahaha. It's nice you liked the two chapters. The kiss was not intentional. HAHAHA. I had to think outside the box. Something that will surprise Reborn. I hope it worked (Hahaha!). Please don't mind the chapter count down. Let's just enjoy the remaining chapters.

Thank you for all the reviews. Really. You guys are awesome.

So I have been thinking of a crossover between KHR and Shokugeki no Soma... What do you guys think? Do you think it will be hard to write? I have a concept already too (and been writing it since a week ago). Just some thoughts. Hahaha.

Anyway, don't mind this. Go on with the chapter.

Chapter Fifty-Seven

"This is Sawada residence, who's calling?" A light cheery voice from other line greeted.

"Kaasan."

"Tsu-kun! How are you?"

"I'm fine, Kaasan. How about you? Tousan? And Lambo? Is Ryohei there?"

"We're fine, Tsu-kun. Lambo-kun is a darling. Tousan and him are having fun. It's like we're having a second Tsu-kun. Ryohei-kun sometimes joins their games."

A chuckle. "That's good."

Silence.

"Tsu-kun? Why did you call? Is there a problem?"

"No. No. I just want to check up on you."

Silence.

"Kaasan."

"Hmm?"

"If..." A shuddering sigh. "If I say I want to change the world, what will you think?"

"That will be wonderful."

"Really?"

"Yes. And I'll support you to it."

"Even if the method I came up with will destroy the world?"

A hum. "But will you do it if it destroys the world?"

Silence.

"Tsu-kun, always remember that you're not alone and you have all the knowledge you can get to find the solution you want to have."

"I'm just not sure, Kaasan. I know I could find the answer. But there are people that will fight with me and billions more to perish if I do it wrong. It's not just me or our family."

"Then just think of the reason why you're doing it. Think of the very reason why you want to change the world in the first place. Sometimes we forget the reason why we do things. Like imagine me going out of the house to do some grocery shopping, but ended up buying clothes and accessories. What is your reason of changing the world?"

A hanged silence. "I wanted acceptance. I want demons and humans live in harmony. I want humans to stop seeing demons as foe and slaves. I want demons to stop seeing humans as food and low lives. I want to make the world recognize the possibility that demons have feelings too. That humans can be perspective if they wanted to be. I want to tell them that humans can love demons, be a friend, a family and a lover. Impossible, but I want it to work. I want it to work so no more sacrifices are done."

A pleasant sigh. "Tsu-kun."

"Yes?"

"Have I told you how proud and grateful I am that you're my son?"

A silence.

"Even though Jii-jii was the one who nurtured you as you are, I'm still proud that you took up a lot from me. From Iemitsu. You've always been so brave and determined. So kind when needed. So I know that you'll accomplish your goal, Tsu-kun. That beautiful dream of yours will come true as long as you believe."

A choked sob and a rustle of clothes. "Thank you, Kaasan."

"We're here for you, Tuna-fish." A male voice said from the other line. "Do what you think is right and what you think you could do. Remember, elements without a sky are-"

"-Undirected weathers. A sky without elements is a grey sky. Without each other, they cannot function properly. They become unbalance." They said in unison.

"Thank you Tousan."

"Always, Son." A pained laugh. "Always."

"Tell Lambo and Ryohei I said hi."

"We will."

"Bye bye."

"Stay safe, Tsu-kun."

Click.

Tsuna rested his head on the wall with eyes closed. "I'll try."

Tsuna stretched his arms before he walked in the diner with Reborn in tow. He grinned when the hitman opened the door for him with a mock bow. Tapping the demon's shoulder, he kissed the forehead under the brim of the hat when the other looked up to him. He didn't really relished the reaction since he too was flushing red, so he walked in. He laughed when Reborn bumped his shoulder.

When they got to the counter, a new employee was there. Tsuna glanced around to see the lady who flirted with Reborn the other year but she wasn't present. He wonders why though.

"Welcome. How can I help you?" The guy greeted with a polite smile.

"So, the same order last year?" The brunet asked to his companion.

"Hmm. Nah. I want to eat Japanese food. Like the one you always order."

Tsuna rose a brow. "Do you even know how to use chopsticks?"

Reborn went quiet for a sec before shrugging. "Dunno. I forgot how. But you can always teach me."

"Okay then." The brunet nodded before putting his attention on the server. "Tell Sumimura-san that two Japanese meals."

"Roger. Please take your seats."

Tsuna ushered the both of them in the usual booth. While humming a wordless song, he eyeballed the diner. He took note of the seats, the lighting, the color of the walls and the things he usually muses himself with that one time he's not reading the book he brought. He realized that the diner never changed in the past years he has been there. It was one of the things that was constant in his life.

It was like home.

And maybe the only home he made when he was away.

"What's with the look?" He heard his demon asking.

Tsuna smiled. "It's nothing."

"That's no nothing." The hitman pushed. "What is it? Tell me."

The brunet's eyes crinkled a little as he laughed. "It's just that this place never changes. The only thing that kept on changing is the waiter."

"Really?"

"Yup. The paint is still red. The seats are still plush. The feeling of belonging is still there." Tsuna narrated as he looked around. "The lights are the same. The counter is the same. Even the decoration on the walls are the same. Don't get me started with the cups and drinking glasses."

"You're too observant."

"I needed some break with my books okay? Besides," Tsuna looked around. "I want to remember everything before I do some drastic things."

Reborn didn't say anything.

"Don't be sad, Reborn." He assured. "I'll find the right solution."

"We'll find it." The hitman corrected that the young man nodded in agreement.

Frecka and Gerald came in as their food was placed. Tsuna beckoned the two to join them as the waiter came again with different style of breakfast meals. Frecka took the invitation while Gerald dilly-dallied, as if he can't believe he was being invited to eat with them. If Tsuna didn't give him an ultimatum, he would still be standing by the side of the table, pointing at himself.

The chatter was easy and light. They told stories, some reminiscing, a lot of own anecdotes, and few painful jokes (usually on Gerald and Tsuna). The brunet observed, carving every memory in his brain to look back when time comes. He'll want to remember his bodyguards' antics and usual expression. Frecka being professional and casual. Gerald as the obnoxious flirty one.

By the time they had to leave, Tsuna requested Sumimura's audience without the presence of others. The man, like any other day they meet, swept Tsuna off his feet and twirled around like he really missed the brunet. Tsuna laughed, almost sobbing in pain. When he was set back on his feet, Tsuna ushered the man to the opposite chair and gave a smile.

"Is there something wrong, Tsunayoshi?" Gen Sumimura asked, worried.

Tsuna cleared his throat. "I want to say thank you." Brown eyes met the other's eyes with so much sincerity, gratitude and appreciation. "My first day out of the Academy was probably the most bearable because of your diner. If you didn't join me, I could've been in more bad mood that day."

"Tsunayoshi."

"I don't know. I feel like I have to tell you this because there are so many possibilities that we won't see each other again. I want you to know that I like this diner. I like how it gives this comforting silence and how delicious the food is. I want to say how grateful I am to you. For being part of my life and for sharing your life with me. For being a friend of mine even for a limited time."

"Tell me a story." Sumimura urged, eyes solemn and sad yet appreciative. Fond too. "Come on. You're a reader. It means you can tell a story."

Tsuna chuckled, knowing the man is discreetly urging him to tell him what was happening. "Well, there's this boy who was blessed with power in one cruel world. He lives an ordinary life where he meets people he can be friends with or fight against." His eyes looked to the right, eyes glazed with emotions and memories. "One day, he met a demon. They became friends, meeting each other every fourteenth day. Of course they fight when they misunderstand each other, but they also make up when they realize what was wrong and what they should do to make things right.

"By the time they dived deeper in each others' lives, the boy met the demon's friends. They became his friends too. They help him do things, understand and accept things. Then one day, an entity made an appearance." He looked directly to Sumimura's eyes. "The entity told the boy that he was bound to do great things. He was destined to have his power and befriend his friends. He accepted it."

"Why?"

"Because he knew he has to." Tsuna looked down to his hands. "Because he knew there won't be any possible escape. No possible reason to decline such job. That he was chosen for a purpose. But he vowed though." He took a deep breathe. "Since he has the power, he knew he will use it to either protect or to destroy. Of what, he thought of the world. The cruel world that needs a change. So he vowed to change the fate he has to take. To create more possibilities that will help him."

"Then what happened?"

Tsuna shrugged, grinning as he leaned on his seat and gazed up to his companion. "He's still thinking how can he do it. But he wants to be ready for the probability that he may destroy his world. So he has been saying goodbye and sorry to the people he knows."

Sumimura stared at him before smiling gently. "Can you add how a friend will support him? That the diner they love to eat in will always be open for him? That whatever happens, he will support the boy?"

The young man hummed. "Okay. Does his friend want to say more?"

"Well, he says if they meet in another life, he would like to still be his friend." Sumimura winked. "Like soulmates."

Tsuna laughed. "Okay."

"But be careful, okay? And thank you."

Tsuna nodded, gave a smile before sliding off the booth. He gave a small bow to the chef before he went out of the diner. Frecka quietly opened the door for him. Reborn was already inside with Gerald on the driver seat. He looked back to see his friend smiling at him. He gave a small wave that was answered back by the chef's own. When he got inside, he couldn't stop himself from sobbing in pain as tears made their way out of his eyes.

Reborn silently and gently hugged him and guided him to the hitman's shoulder to rest himself. Frecka did throw a worried gaze but focused on the road with Gerald as they leave the place.

Tsuna slept all the way to the hotel due to exhaustion from crying.

"Private audience?" Timoteo repeated with confusion. "Why?"

The Lightning shifted his weight to his other leg, a sign that he's nervous and agitated. "It about the..."

"Talk clearly, Ganauche." Coyote admonished when the lightning mumbled the rest of his answer.

Ganauche sighed. "It's about the Seven Sins, Timoteo. He wants to discuss to you the things he knew about them and some plans about them."

"That is ridiculous. Even though a lot have speculated that a Sin, Pride to be specific, attacked Namimori, it doesn't mean it's true." Schnitten argued from his position.

"It was Tsuna who said it was Pride." Ganauche replied, crossing his arms. "It was verified by three of his summons, the sun arcobaleno, Reborn, the storm arcobaleno, Fon and the mist arcobaleno, Viper. Last week, Headmaster Angelo of Saint Academy has reported to me that the Sins Greed, Gluttony, Sloth and Envy appeared in the campus, searching for Tsuna who was bedridden for two months after an encounter with the demon Belial."

The six guardians of the World Society stared at the Lightning guardian who only shrugged.

"I don't know the rest, but that's what I heard from Angelo. He was pretty shaken since eight of his students were eaten by a skinny Gluttony. Good thing Fon was there and Colonnello, the rain arcobaleno, accompanied them to the gymnasium of the school. They were also praised by the same Arcobaleno for teaching their students about the Sins. If the students were ignorant about Gluttony's appearance, mortality could've been greater. It was just unfortunate that eight students were electrocuted that's why they got eaten."

Timoteo toyed the corner of his lip before nodding. He can't risk such events bypassing his security. If the attacks were these frequent and the only target is Tsunayoshi, then it's serious. To even acquire Demon Belial's attention. "Tell Tsunayoshi I grant his request. Does he want to share his knowledge to the other skies?"

"Verde told me that those who recommended the skies should do the honors of explaining these information to them." Ganauche explained with a wince. "Tsuna deemed it that they won't listen to him since he was known to be a recommendation and he's delinquent personality is something to be frowned by his colleagues. Ah. Except for Xanxus and Dino."

"So he also needs our presence there." Croquant mused.

"The kid will need all the help he could get." The lightning guardian breathed out. "He is, after all, a recommendation."

The seven guardians basked themselves into a minute of silence before Coyote excused himself to prepare the usual meeting room. Ganauche informed them that Tsunayoshi's group is composed of nine people, including the young sky, before going out. After fifteen minutes, Timoteo went out of his office in the hotel and proceeded to the rendezvous point with the rest of his guardians.

Visconti opened the door for them. They were first in the meeting room, other than Coyote. They settled themselves in their usual places while Visconti sat by the sill of the window. Ganauche came in after a few minutes, behind him was a lone Tsunayoshi.

"Good afternoon, Timoteo." Tsunayoshi greeted with a small bow before looking at the other guardians. "Schnitten, Croquant, Nie, Coyote, and Visconti."

"Good afternoon, Tsunayoshi." He greeted back. "Your elements?"

"Ah." The brunet nodded as eight different colored portals appeared behind him. "They're here."

"Chaos." Reborn greeted as he stepped out his portal and stood beside Tsunayoshi. The others did the same and lined neatly. "We are the Arcobaleno. A pleasure to make your acquaintances."

Timoteo sucked on his breathe as eight different auras flooded the room, pressing down theirs. It felt icy on his being, being overpowered and know he's helpless when a fight broke out. Other than powerless, he's also too old to fight. He can see his fellow guardians tensing, except for Ganauche who looked relax.

Then suddenly, a wave of powerful sky aura slammed into their core, flushing the tension and anxiety out of their systems. Timoteo can't help himself from sighing in calmness. He looked up to see orange eyes looking exasperated. No wonder Tsunayoshi is being hunted by Belial and the Seven Sins. He has the sky aura that can kill them in a single snap.

"Shall we get down to the discussion?" Tsunayoshi asked as he sat on the chair opposite to Timoteo. The Arcobaleno followed the brunet's lead and parted by four to each side.

"Please." The sky guardian replied.

Tsunayoshi nodded. "Assuming Ganauche had oriented you of the recent events and the involvement of our enemies, I might as well tell you that war between six Sins and I will commence earlier than expected."

"How would you know?" Coyote questioned, skeptical and unbelieving.

"Yuni Giglio Nero, the accurate clairvoyant of this time, had informed us before Tsuna went here." The mist arcobaleno replied before murmuring about luck and payment that the little Sawada smiled upon. "In her vision, she took note of the full moon in the dark sky. What she didn't specify was the event. If the vision she saw was the start of the war, the middle or the end of it."

Timoteo had his brows almost knitting at this. How come Tsunayoshi had able to contact one of the rulers of Fiant so casually? The three rulers of Fiant have never spoken to him in person regardless of how he requests audience. Not even the immortal Kawahira had faced him. But when it comes to Tsunayoshi, they show up.

"Is there more to the vision?" Croquant asked, rather intrigued to the future they're talking about.

"Yes." The storm arcobaleno replied with a serene look. "She had told us that the place she was standing at was covered with blood and licked by living fire. Amidst the chaos, humans and demons stood around a group of people, talking and cheering."

"It must be the end of the war." Nie speculated.

"We can't be sure." The lightning arcobaleno negated as he tapped a pen on the notebook he placed on the table. "Based on both races' natures, it is possible that we are talking and cheering after an encouraging speech was given, a defeat of sin was known or the announcement of the end of the war was heard. There are many possibilities."

"But the lick of fire and bath of blood were specified." Schnitten pointed out.

"Let's just say the Sins were ordered to spread out." The only female in the group spoke. Timoteo watched Croquant and Coyote sat straighter at the sight of the woman. She was a five star general back in the days she was known to be a 'human', and a lot of army, including his two guardians, were her fan. "Since there are only four Sins that are capable of doing harmless or no-proof eradication, we can narrow down the vision to Wrath, Pride or Gluttony. Those three bring blood and fire almost everywhere."

"Wrath did destroy half of South America last month." Coyote murmured.

"He must be angry then." A soft voice offhandedly commented. Tsunayoshi craned his head to the side, eyes straying to right. "I wonder if he's alright."

"He'll be fine." Assured by the cloud arcobaleno. "You won't know, he might be seeking you out tomorrow again."

Timoteo cleared his throat. "So what do you plan, Tsunayoshi?"

A silence.

"I was entrusted by Kawahira-oji-san to do something that will stop the Sins. It can only be done by me and my guardians."

"Wait, Tsuna. You mean you're going to engage the Sins in a fight?" Ganauche tried to clarify, baffled and anxious. Tsunayoshi nodded. "You cannot be serious about this, Tsunayoshi. It's dangerous! You'll die even if you have your summons! I know you're capable of defending yourself from demons, but these are the Sins. They're vicious and they can snap you like a twig! Don't even start me up with Gluttony!"

"And this is officially a World Society business, kid. You cannot work alone." Coyote chastised.

"Well, isn't this meeting enough answer that yes, it is your business too?" The cloud arcobaleno questioned, purple eyes roaming at their faces. Timoteo suddenly felt like a kid under those sage eyes. "We are telling you this to make you part of the plan and help us defend the world against the Sins. Your organization is known to protect the humans, and we would like you to do so as we do our part of the job too."

"And what is that?" Nie questioned.

"Sealing the Sins." Tsunayoshi answered. Brown eyes slowly went orange as the atmosphere of the room turned stuffy. "As I said, I was tasked to do this with my guardians. The Giglio Nero, Gesso and Kawahira-oji are welling to join forces to protect both races."

Coyote sat straighter. "Are you sure they will cooperate?"

"Shouldn't we be asking you that?" Viper retaliated back, red eyes suddenly becoming visible under the shadow of his hood. "Humans aren't very cooperative with demons while we cooperate for your needs."

"Mammon." Tsunayoshi sighed before turning to them. "They will. They don't want to repeat what happened five millennia ago." Expectations crossed those orange eyes. "I will assume the human race will also cooperate with this."

Timoteo mused in his mind why Tsunayoshi addressed the human race like he's not part of it.

"But what about the sealing?" Croquant asked.

"Tsunayoshi is the only perfect sky to do it." Visconti said, startling his companion with his sudden input. "It has something to do with the infinite reserve of his aura and his elements. In a sense, we need to follow his yet to be laid plan and trust him to finish the job."

"Thank you, Visconti." Tsunayoshi expressed with a smile directed to the man who nodded at him. "The sealing is ours to problem. As for your cooperation, I would like to ask two things."

"And that is?" Timoteo continued.

"One, use the power of World Society to notify the humans about the incoming war." Fon answered, hiding his hands to his long sleeves. "The power of your organization is greater than the power of one Tsunayoshi Sawada. This will greatly alert them and keep them vigilant about the Sins."

"Alright." Schnitten nodded. "Fair point. The second?"

"Since we all know that you will insist on fighting alongside us, we want you to subdue Sloth and Greed." Colonnello offered. "Lust can be defeated by Viper like the old time. Gluttony is tricky, especially when he's hungry, so it will be Fon and Bermuda."

"Greetings." The demon with a top hat pleasantly said.

"He's the night arcobaleno, by the way." Colonnello informed again with a smile this time. "So Pride is for Reborn, to settle old scores."

The sun arcobaleno smirked at the human sky who jokingly rolled his eyes.

"Envy is for Lal and Verde." The two mentioned Arcobaleno smirked. "The rest of us will be with Tsuna. All you need is contact us when you subdued the two and we'll do the rest."

"Wait." Timoteo blurted as he counted the mentioned Sins. "What about Wrath? Why is there no one attacking him?"

"He's mine." A cold voice said. They all looked at Tsunayoshi who glared at them with blazing eyes. He looked furious and possessive. "Ira is mine. No one will touch him. If he destroys something, you come to me. If he kills someone, you come to me. No one will confront him except for me."

Reborn whistled lowly, amazement written all over his face. "I wonder if you'll be that possessive of me."

The brunet slapped the sun arcobaleno's arm as his expression went calm. "You know you're the only one, Reborn."

"I know." The other smirks.

"Bastard." The rest of the Arcobaleno muttered under their breaths.

"We understand." Visconti answered for all the guardians. He noticed how bewildered the others of Tsunayoshi's declaration. "Thank you for telling us this."

"It is dire." The brunet said with a small smile. "We need to save as many as we can."

"Just tell us if you need anything, Tsunayoshi." Timoteo offered. "We'll gladly provide."

"Thank you."
