ENJOY!

Elsa was pacing for long time that she might've caused burn marks on the carpeted floor of her study. It was morning and she woke up from the chaise across her desk, someone would suspect that she was having late night paper work that deterred her from sleeping with her wife in the same room, which was the half-truth. The other half was she was losing it whenever she was in the same vicinity as Anna.

She was aware of her recent behavior towards the latter could be used against her, emotionally wise. Having an emotional breakdown once was enough, that was after their private wedding. Doing it twice was foolish, that was when she trashed the other guest room. The third was totally alarming and it happened in Vinter Castle after Anna's admission of finding out the truth, but being unmasked for the fourth time was an utter idiocy. She couldn't have her emotion in check whenever Anna was there, she felt bare just like last night, she tried to be cold and indifferent but what she did was completely opposite since her emotions were spilling all over the place

Elsa felt dread creeping up in her chest as she couldn't explain what was happening to her. She supposed to hate Anna not comfort her, but she did it while in the carriage on their way back.

She could feel them slipping away from her grasp, the rage, the disgust, the hate. Since the death of the General, she didn't trust herself to be alone with the lady since she might end her on the spot. Elsa was prepared to do it long before she took back her crown, but when she had the opportunity of condemning the latter and have her executed for high treason, she outright dismissed it, for Anna's political importance. . . or was it? She couldn't understand herself anymore.

She ran her hand through her hair while pacing.

Things got worse for her since Anna had finally acknowledged her grandfather's evil deeds. She couldn't help but to feel frustrated since the latter had lost her fire, her reason to fight, and Elsa wouldn't want to fight a reluctant enemy. She wanted an even playing field so she did her best to rekindle the hate in Anna's eyes and this would give Elsa a reason to fight with the same intensity and justify her hate laced actions. However last night the fire in Anna's eyes was there but it was not the same, she was angry for a completely different reason. Elsa even tried to scare her by pinning her against the door but the latter barely struggled.

It was not enough for Elsa.

Anna had started to distance herself from her grandfather's actions and had stopped defending him, and Elsa could only conclude it was because of the General's confession.

Elsa doesn't know what to do with that.

She halted and sighed.

She pounded her fists on her desk out of frustration. "Am I doing the right thing?" she asked herself. She was even teaching Anna how to manipulate her enemy to her advantage for goodness sake.

She sighed once again. She needed to relax.

She got out of her study for fresh air.

Elsa walked through the halls with one intention in mind, she would go for a long stroll in the Arendelle forest to clear her mind, to free herself from these unpleasant thoughts.

Going for a ride through the forest became her coping mechanism whenever she was having a hard day or whenever her emotions suffocated her. This time a morning ride in the Arendelle forest would certainly give her the adrenaline she needed.

Elsa was about to climb down the stairs as her eyes caught the sight of the hallway leading to her cousin's room. An idea of inviting her cousin came and thought it has been a while since they bonded with just the two of them, so she proceeded to the princess' room instead. She knocked couple of times but no one answered, which was odd since it was already passed eight in the morning and her usually early riser cousin was still in bed.

"Is she sick?" Elsa mumbled. She checked if the door was locked and it wasn't so she invited herself in.

"Punz?" Elsa softly called out as she closed the door and walked across the room. She smiled softly at her cousin's peaceful sleeping face.

Elsa fixed the princess' blanket but as she lifted it, something dropped on the carpeted floor with a faint thud. She looked down and saw something like container, a glass vial. Her brows furrowed and brought the vial under her nose to get a whiff of what was its previous contents.

Her furrowed eyebrows turned into a scowl as she recognized the scent of the particular tonic previously housed in the vial.

"Sleeping tonic." she mumbled. She knew her cousin sometimes would have trouble sleeping and it started the night after she was almost touched.

"Is she having nightmares again?" she couldn't help but to feel angry at the thought of the man. "Look what he had done to you." she carefully caressed her cousin's face but the moment her hand touched the latter's cheek she flinched.

"No. . ." Rapunzel mumbled in her sleep.

Elsa retracted her hand quickly and had watched her cousin being consumed by her nightmare.

"No please." Rapunzel mumbled again.

"No! Stop! I said stop!" she screamed.

Elsa took action and tapped her cousin's shoulder. "Rapunzel. Rapunzel wake up!"

"No! Help! Please help! DON'T!" Rapunzel started sobbing as her body tried to fight of whoever was touching her.

Elsa sat by Rapunzel's side and lifted the writhing body of her cousin and shook her. "Rapunzel wake up! It's me Elsa!"

"NO! FLYNN STOP IT!" Rapunzel screamed.

Elsa's eyes darkened. "RAPUNZEL!" she screamed at the top of her lungs while shaking her furiously.

Rapunzel woke up and met with a worried looking Elsa. Elsa was immediately engulfed with a tight hug , few seconds later Vladimir had opened the door forcefully.

"Your Majesty." Vladimir bowed. "I heard you and Her Highness screaming."

"It's fine. You may go." Elsa dismissed Rapunzel's personal guard while comforting her. "Hey, I'm here." she stroke Rapunzel's golden locks. "Shh. . . I'm here." her voice was soft but her face was hard and dangerous.

Rapunzel sobbed on Elsa's clothes.

"Shh. . . just let it out. I'm here okay? I'll always protect you." she kissed the side of her head. "I'm here."

Elsa let her cousin cry her heart out. "It's okay. You're okay." she gave Rapunzel soft pats on her back to reassure her that she was there, she even hummed their favorite lullaby, the one her own mother sang to her and her twin.

They were like that for couple more minutes before Rapunzel had calmed down.

The moment Elsa sensed Rapunzel had calmed down she pulled away and wiped her tears away and smiled. "See? You're safe."

"I'm sorry for soaking your clothes." Rapunzel started.

"It's nothing." Elsa's eyes were filled with worry. "How do you feel?" she stared at Rapunzel's dull eyes.

"I don't know." Rapunzel responded, almost inaudible.

"Did something happen?"

Rapunzel didn't answer. She refused to answer.

"Alright. I won't ask anymore." Elsa fixed Rapunzel's hair. "Why don't you get dress while I'll have breakfast serve."

Elsa had asked for one of the servants who was passing by the room to serve breakfast for the princess, she waited for Rapunzel to finish dressing up behind the changing screen.

Once the breakfast arrived, she silently watched the princess eat, however she was not able to finish it. Elsa's anger flared because she had an inkling who might be responsible for the nightmare her cousin just had.

"Would you like to join me for a ride?" Elsa asked.

"Huh? What?" the latter distractedly asked.

"I was about to go for a stroll in Arendelle forest, would you like to join me?" the invitation enticed the princess since Arendelle forest lacked people.

"Oh, yes please."

The duo silently made their way to the stables. The moment the stables were in sight Elsa's companion visibly tensed and was glued on her spot.

"I-I'll wait for you here."

Elsa nodded in understanding while her knuckles turned white as she asked the stable master to fetch two horses for them. She turned her attention to her cousin who was leaning on a pillar while looking down the pavement, the she caught sight of Flynn who was staring at her cousin. Elsa waited for the man to approach her and he did. She watched the man bowed and his voice caught the princess' attention, her cousin visibly flinched but did her best not to bolt from her spot. Elsa had enough and approached them.

"Sir Rider."

"Queen Elsa." Flynn bowed.

"That's Your Majesty for you." she sternly stated. "Whoever your allegiance lie I am still the Queen and I expect to be addressed properly."

The air between was charged with hostility, mainly from Elsa.

"My utmost apology." Flynn said through his teeth. "Your Majesty."

Elsa expected Rapunzel to intervene but she didn't, instead she saw her hands clenched into fists to prevent them from shaking.

"What have you done to her?" she stepped closer and glared at Flynn.

"What?" Flynn asked.

Rapunzel whipped her head towards Elsa with her eyes wide.

"Elsa he didn't do anything!"

"Then be my guest and touch his hand." Elsa dared.

"Your Highness what is she talking about?" Flynn was confused.

Rapunzel lifted her hand but soon retracted it and held Elsa's instead. "Elsa let's go. Please."

"Did you force yourself on her?" Elsa growled.

Flynn took a step back at the animosity he received. "Your Majesty what are implying?" he looked around and was thankful that no one was near them.

"I asked you a question and I expect you to answer not question me back." she could feel her hand being pulled.

"Elsa, just let it go please." Rapunzel begged.

"My question is only answerable by yes or no. It wasn't that hard."

Flynn tried to meet Rapunzel's eyes but the latter wasn't even looking at him.

"Rapunzel what happened to you?" Flynn asked. He tried to reached for her hand but the latter hid behind Elsa.

"Nothing. Just go Flynn, please."

This only confirmed Elsa's suspicions. "How dare you. . ." Elsa's voice was low and dangerous as her gaze was on the man. "I warned you before Flynn Rider, one wrong move and I'll end you." she reached for her sword.

"Elsa no!" Rapunzel she became frantic and tried to yank Elsa away from Flynn. "Elsa! Stop it!" she got in between them. "Please stop." she begged. "He didn't do anything!"

"Then why were you shouting his name in your sleep?" Elsa growled.

Rapunzel visibly paled.

"He did something to you, didn't he?"

"We did something what lovers do, what of it?" Flynn defiantly answered and was rather arrogant about it. Elsa had always known how he hated the way she treated him since the beginning.

"Ah so it's true you did something. Lovers? You can't even decide between your loyalty to Anna and your love for my cousin." she scoffed.

"Elsa stop it." Rapunzel growled.

"Okay I'll stop. . . after removing his head." Elsa drew her sword.

"Elsa I said stop it!" Rapunzel bodily protected Flynn. "Please I beg you stop."

"Move aside Rapunzel." her cousin didn't move, while Flynn was about to draw his sword when a voice interrupted them.

"What's going on here?" it was Anna.

"None of your concern, run along and don't stick your nose into someone else's business." Elsa responded without looking at her. "I said move aside Rapunzel!" she shouted.

"Elsa what are you doing?!" Anna got in between Rapunzel and her. "Put the sword down. You're scaring your cousin! She just had-" she cut herself off just in time but Elsa's eyes squinted at them.

"I see now. You are all cahoots in this." she sheathed back her sword. "I may not be able physically harm you Flynn Rider, but I am sure my Uncle will be please with your. . . relationship." she sarcastically stated and turned her gaze to Rapunzel. "I tried to be patient for you regarding. . . whatever you have with him but I am at my limit. I'm sorry I cannot put up with him around you anymore." she then turned her attention to Anna but said nothing before turning away towards the stable and mounted on the black stallion.

"Elsa! Elsa!" Rapunzel ran up to her. "Don't tell my father please."

Elsa ignored her cousin's plea, instead she shifted her attention to Eric. "Tell Marshall to follow me, he'll know where. Hyah!" she kicked the sides of her horse and rode out.

"Elsa! Elsa!" Rapunzel mounted on the horse prepared for her and chased after her. "Stop! Elsa!"

Anna was passing by with her personal guard and maid, when she heard the commotion and saw Elsa's drawn sword. Out of instinct she got in between the Elsa and Rapunzel. She almost spilled Rapunzel's secret but Elsa immediately understood what was she was about to say and was accused of being in Rapunzel's side. Now both cousins rode off.

"Wendy I would like to speak with Sir Rider in private. Please." Anna waited for Wendy move in a good distance. "What happened Sir Rider?" she asked.

"I'm not entirely sure myself. The Queen got all protective of her cousin all of a sudden."

Anna bit her lip. "I think it's probably the best to distance yourself from the Princess. And based on what Elsa said, you and her cousin are in a relationship, which I assume King Frederic doesn't know."

"But I didn't do anything!" Flynn raised his voice but soon regretted his tone. "I'm sorry M'lady."

Anna ignored his apology and probed. "Did you get intimate with her?" she almost blush at her own words.

"I-I uh." he stuttered and looked away. "Almost, until she bolted out for some reason and asked me not to touch her."

Anna sighed. So that it was. That's the reason why Rapunzel broke down yesterday. "Sir Rider, you shouldn't approach the Princess for now. That's an order."

Flynn knew he couldn't protest against his Queen. "As M'lady wishes."

Anna dismissed Flynn and sighed. She got entangled with Rapunzel's problem by knowing what happened and now she was sure Elsa would loathed her more, not that she cared of course.

Both Anna and Wendy went back to the castle and played chess in the castle library, and also to distract themselves from the thing that happened. However they were interrupted by a knock.

Behind the door was Olaf, who was carrying a small box wrapped in a brown paper secured by a white string.

"Good morning M'lady and Miss Wendy." Olaf greeted them with a smile.

Anna did her best not to glare at him, "Wendy, kindly prepare some tea for us please." she gave emphasis on the word tea. "Have a seat, Olaf." she gestured the seat previously occupied by Wendy.

Olaf was a little put off the way Anna spoke. "It's been a while since the last time we talked. How are you?"

Anna waited for Wendy to close the door before speaking. "Yes, it's been a while since you had educated me regarding the royal family tree. I'm peachy, just like all you wanted me to be." she smiled but her tone was different.

She could see how Olaf was taken aback at her hostility.

"Oh yeah, you knew."

"Why did you do it?" Anna glared at him.

"Elsa needed my help and I couldn't say no." he shrugged. "It was rather a brilliant plan since she doesn't want to touch you so the situation didn't leave her any choice."

Anna scoffed. "You are all horrible."

"Maybe, but comparing your situation to ours. Yours is just a piece of cake. You didn't need to be shipped away from your home to survive." Olaf stated. "You didn't have to witness different horrors of how life must've been outside the royal court, outside the comforts of royal life."

Anna merely raised her brow. "Piece of cake? I've been living with the person who wanted me dead, I am even sleeping in the same damn room as hers. And her Uncle is King of Corona, I am sure she was treated as a princess."

"She had the privilege's of a royal sure, but that doesn't meant it was easy for her. She worked her way up on her own, had to sacrifice things dear to her so she could survive. She survived things what others failed to do." Olaf cryptically said as he took the pawn chess piece. "She was pawn, a valuable pawn that anyone would wish to possess . . ." Olaf trailed off. ". . or eradicate."

"To the Coronans we were still foreigners who just happened to have connection with the royal family. It took long period of time before they started to see us as their equal."

"I do not care what she was before, whatever happened to her doesn't give her a right to treat me like this, for all of you to treat me like this!" Anna's anger flared each second completely dismissing Olaf's words. Anna looked into his cold glacial eyes.

"If it were her choice she wouldn't include you in all these plans they made."

Anna had a feeling who were he was talking about, the people who orchestrated all this. She was aware Elsa was only a tool for them to use, and she herself was roped into it.

"Does it matter? We are already married." she snapped at him.

"And marriage can be dissolve if not consummated. I am sure you know that." Olaf tilted his head.

Anna didn't think of that. She didn't think she actually had a way out, but the others thought she was already intimate with the Queen.

"However, you supposedly had a miscarriage so they would think you two got intimate but I can always bear witness that nothing happened and it was all my doing, that I deceived you and Her Majesty. I will deny her involvement on it."

She gasped. "You'll take the responsibility for it? Why?"

"I owed Elsa a debt that I could never repay even if I would serve her forever."

"What?"

"When that unforgettable day of our lives happened. I lost consciousness while fighting your grandfather's men, I was eight. My brother told me how Elsa shoved him out of away from an enemy sword and sacrificed herself instead, he saw how Elsa's back bled so much after being hit before he lost his consciousness."

Anna remembered the large scar on Elsa's back.

"Elsa would do whatever means necessary to protect the people she cared about, and most of the times even if wasn't convenient for her. If it's for the greater good- or rather what she thought was the greater good, she would do it." Olaf cryptically stated. "What I am trying to say is stop giving her a hard time, stop for a moment to understand her."

"She was the one who's giving me a hard time. She was rude to me all the time." Anna snapped.

"She's a difficult person to read. Oh before I forget." he offered the wrapped box shape thing. "I thought of giving this to you. I know you like to read so here."

She stared at him for a moment before accepting. "May I open it?"

"Of course."

Anna opened the package and saw a book titled; A Royal History: Kings and Queens of Corona.

"That came from Corona itself, the information there are much reliable." Olaf chuckled but then his face turned serious. "Lady Anna, I would love to wait for the tea but I have to go, also I meant what I said, I'll be willing to be imprisoned anytime. If you want an out, just tell me." he got up and bowed to her. Just in time he opened the door, Wendy was behind it carrying the tray. "Oh enjoy the tea instead." he chuckled.

Wendy carried the tray over and place it on the small table. "Such a shame Sir Olaf wasn't able to have tea."

"Yeah." Anna answered as she thought a lot of questions. Her conversation with Olaf puzzled her. She needed answers from Elsa and she if she had to tie Elsa on a chair to get them she would do it.

Rapunzel chased her cousin through the Arendelle forest, she long gave up on calling her name, instead she would do her best to outride her to block her way and do her best to stop the latter from revealing her relationship with the Eldr soldier to her father.

At the moment she was meters away from Elsa, and the Queen wouldn't stop any time soon. Behind her was Marshall who also brought Vladimir with him for some reason. She chased her cousin for about half an hour more before she saw her stop in the forest clearing. She watched Elsa turned her horse around then glared at her.

Once Rapunzel was in hearing distance she heard Elsa speak.

"Why are you following me?"

"Elsa please, let's talk about it?" she pleaded.

"What is there to talk about? You didn't even tell me it was him who triggered your nightmares! For goodness sake Rapunzel he was not worth your everything! There are others out there!"

"I didn't tell you because you'll act like this!"

Elsa scoffed at her answer. "I am not allowed to know and yet Anna knew! Since when did you two got close?" her voice was laced with pain.

"I bumped into her quite literally. She saw me broke down, that's how she knew and I asked her not say anything to you so don't take it out on her."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Elsa asked softly this time.

"I was afraid you'll do something drastic and I was right, you were out to kill him Elsa."

"He deserve it and if you don't want him killed, then separation is the only way. I'll ask Uncle to sail you back to Corona."

Rapunzel started to get angry. "You have no right! This is my life and I will do whatever I want with it! Why don't you just fix your own problems first before getting into my case?! You'd received a threat from the Valley, and the some nobles are unhappy with your rule! Not to mention your relationship with your wife is non-existent!"

Elsa was silenced.

"Anna is not half as bad as Runeard if you look at her as herself, not the granddaughter of that bastard. I am still your ally but please fix your relationship with her since it is the easy one out of the three. It will lessen the burden you feel."

"I don't like how she makes me feel." Elsa gripped the reins of the horse tightly.

Rapunzel frowned. "What is it?"

"I don't know."

She watched Elsa turned her horse towards the clearing before dismounting. There was a waterfall in front of them, she followed them and gestured to their respective personal guards to stay in a distance before dismounting and stood on next to her cousin.

"How does she makes you feel?" she asked.

"I don't know. I don't care."

Rapunzel looked at her cousin's profile. "She comforted me and even thanked me for making you promise not to touch her, which was completely unexpected for her to do. She finally acknowledged her grandfather's crimes and still learning to accept her fate. I was angry at her for being associated to the person who ruined our family but she wasn't like him at all."

"You can't be sure about that." Elsa snapped before sighing. "I couldn't help but to hurt her feelings. I don't know what to do around her. She always managed to coaxed me to spill my emotion all over without even trying, all she needed to do was few verbal jabs and I always gave in and showed her how scarred I was, for gods' sakes."

"Even I, told her about what happened a year ago, so she could understand why I was like that yesterday. I even let her hug me for goodness sake, Anna of all people."

Elsa sat on the grass near the pool of water from the waterfall. Rapunzel followed suit.

"I am angry because he was the one who triggered your nightmares, I just don't want you to feel what you felt before, it was awful enough for me to watch over you every night screaming and clawing in your sleep what more experiencing it. I couldn't do anything but to endure it and wake you up to reassure you're safe." Elsa sighed. "I don't like him for you, it felt like he was not worthy of you. He was just so. . . wrong."

"I really appreciate your support and everything you've done for me but this is who I am, person who loves him despite everything. He makes me feel something wonderful even if his attention is divided between me and Anna, the person he'd sworn to protect."

Rapunzel leaned her head on Elsa's shoulder.

"I wouldn't know how you feel since I have no one."

"What about the Wolken siblings? They are rather fond of you and you are particularly close to the eldest daughter."

"You have the wrong idea about them. You don't know how much restraint I exerted to keep myself from flinging them off the cliffs. They were utterly obnoxious, let's not get into how the eldest daughter practically throwing herself at me whenever she had a chance. I almost kicked her from the top of the stairs when she felt my chest, I was so angry that I ruined more then twenty straw dummy at the training grounds that day." Rapunzel gasped at the revelation. "The younger brother was subtle but that doesn't make it any better. You see there's no love there, they are forcing themselves to me and I hate it."

"What about Anna, does she force herself on you?"

Elsa scowled at the question but answered it regardless.

"Obviously not."

"Do you want her to?" she felt her cousin shifted to look at her.

"What?" the latter gave her an incredulous look.

"Answer the question."

"Where are you going with this?"

"Just answer me."

"No! Obviously! What's gotten into you?"

"How does she makes you feel?"

"I already told you I don't know, I couldn't explain." Elsa was telling the truth, she couldn't explain how Anna make her feel but there was one word that would sum up her feelings. Dread.

"You don't like her, I know that, but now she accepted the truth and she mellowed down unlike the first meeting. It looks like the fire in her was extinguished, well almost."

That's what Elsa thought too, but she won't say a word about it to her cousin. "She can never be trusted. That's all I can say."

"Okay." her cousin replied.

"She was unbearable to be with, she talks back and it felt like she was not scared of me anymore, she became defiant." Elsa said in distaste. "Her supporters wanted to enthrone her so they could use her against me, those bastards."

"Elsa, don't you think it's the time for you to be nice to her before they could gain her trust? Do you get what I mean?"

"I have to be steps ahead of them. I know." she sighed. "I tried doing that. Remember the dinner we had before?"

"No wonder you were all affectionate with each other." Rapunzel pointed out. "I thought you accidentally ate something bad and started to act nicely."

Elsa looked down at on the patch of grass in front of her and chuckled humorlessly. "I wish I was, but no. I did those just to keep her from those bastards. . . preventing them to try to persuade her to their side that night." Elsa pursed her lips.

Her cousin placed her hand on her knee. "It's hard, I know, we judged her for who her family was but we could try on seeing her as Anna, as her own." Elsa looked at her cousin. "Gaining her trust would do you lots of favor, she might even help you to place those men where they belong. The two of you will be a formidable pair."

Elsa was still having reservations about getting close to the strawberry blonde, especially knowing her treacherous nature. "I don't have any choice, have I?"

"Just try it please,"

"I'll try again." Elsa sighed. "Anyway, why are we talking about me and Anna? We're suppose to talk about that filth-"

"Elsa! That's not nice!"

"Fine, that. . .creature." Elsa growled. "Please know that I will no longer support your relationship but I will not say a thing to Uncle."

"Do you really mean that?" the latter was sad since Elsa wouldn't support her any further but if she won't say a thing to her father then she could live with that.

"Yes. If you got caught, I won't lift a finger to help you. This is my limit when it comes to that man."

"I'm sorry that I pushed you to this extent. But please let me deal with this on my own.

"If you say so." Elsa reluctantly agreed.

Both cousins returned before luncheon in much calmer manner than before they rode out. They spoke to each other while they made their way to the foyer. Both had gone to their separate ways to deal with their own problems and as for Elsa the problem came walking towards her.

Elsa tried to ignore her but the problem in question stood in front of her, refusing to move out of the way.

"We need to talk." Anna said.

"I believe we have nothing to talk about, excuse me." Elsa got passed Anna but she was halted by a hand on her arm.

"I had lunch prepared in our room, please join me."

Please try. . .

"Fine, can you please let me go?" glacial eyes were on the hand gripping her arm.

Anna took her hand away but she had this small smile on her face.

The reluctant couple made their way to room, where their lunch was waiting for them. It was latter's idea to have Elsa for herself in order to have her questions answered. They settled themselves on their seats before they start eating.

"What do you want?" Elsa asked without looking at her wife.

"I have questions." Anna trailed off. "About things."

"Get on with it then." Elsa still kept her gaze on her food.

"The last dinner before. I know we were just pretending but why did you stay by my side the entire night?"

"To show them that I couldn't bear to be part from you obviously." Elsa shrugged. Lying about her intention was easy.

Anna scowled at that. "Okay. Why did you let me out of this room earlier than what you've said before?."

"If you don't want it then you're once again will stay in this room until further notice." Elsa lifted her head to stare at Anna.

"You-" Anna took a deep breath. "I am asking why, I didn't say I don't want it."

"I have no particular reason. Next question?" Elsa pushed away her plate since she was already finished. Her eating habits helped her to escape much early.

Anna looked at Elsa's empty plate. "Will you stay here for much longer?"

"State papers aren't going to sign themselves. I have to go." Elsa rose from her seat, so did Anna. She was blocked by the latter on her way to the door.

Anna leaned her back on middle of the double door to keep Elsa from getting out.

"What you think you're doing?" Elsa tried to pry Anna off the door but she wouldn't budge.

"I have more questions." Anna stood her ground.

"I'm sure they can wait for some other time." Elsa tried to pry Anna again but the latter was stubborn. "Let me pass." she glared at the strawberry blonde.

"No."

Elsa's ire was evident as she pinned Anna's wrists on the door above her head. "So be it." she leaned on Anna's left and whispered. "Why are you provoking me?"

"Why you are not consummating our marriage?" Anna did her best to steady her voice.

"Me? Consummating this marriage requires both consent, unless you want me to. . . do it forcefully." Elsa brush the tip of her nose against Anna's pulse point.

"You can always do it with or without my consent if you really wanted it." the latter defiantly retorted and did her best not to squeak.

"My my, if I didn't know better I would think you are lusting over me." Elsa let out a low chuckled near Anna's ear. "Are you?"

"Definitely not."

"Then why aren't you struggling?" Elsa waited for Anna's answer.

"I won't give you the satisfaction of seeing me like that." she heard Anna say.

"Shame."

"There's another reason why you didn't want it other than your promise to Rapunzel. Isn't it?"

Elsa shifted to look into Anna's eyes. "What do you think?"

"You want this marriage to be dissolved." Anna gave her answer.

Elsa pulled away and gave her a blank look.

"You intend to dissolve our marriage to what end?" Anna's tone was filled with curiosity.

"That was before." Elsa sat on the bed and looked up to the canopy above. "But then I realized you are not that bad at all. You have influence, though you don't know how to use it. The council favored you and fighting them against it was a lost cause. I am not consummating it because I wouldn't want my own flesh and blood be use against me. You've done it once and I am sure you'll do it again." her eyes shifted and coldly gazed at Anna. "You are Runeard's granddaughter after all. The bad Eldr blood in your veins always shines through." she saw how flushed the latter had become.
