The royal progress was halted, the servants had put up tents to join with the people who found home within the forest. They cheered and praised their Queen and Princess, despite starting on a wrong foot, they managed to forged bond between the monarch and her subjects.
The servants made small campfires to keep themselves warm for the the night as per the Queen's orders
In one of the tents sat the Duke of Weselton and the Count of Isles. They were currently having tea.
"King Frederic's prodigy is living up to her bloodline. She not only diffused the tension but also managed to have those people on her side." Count of Isles chuckled.
Duke of Weselton was proud of the child he was tasked to protect. "Yes, She's loved by the people. She's reaping what her ancestors sowed. Now she's sowing what her descendants will reap in the future." he finished his tea.
"With the help of Lady Anna." the Count added. "By the way. Any news from the Valley? I am sure King Arkyn long returned from his voyage, it would only take about five days or a week at latest, to travel back."
"No. Nothing. I haven't received any report." the Duke shook his head.
Both of men sighed.
Somewhere in Arendelle
A group of men rented out a room in a tavern for them to gather.
"The castle is almost empty." said one man.
"We can take this as an opportunity to infiltrate it and slay her family there. Just like how she did to our own." they could still remember how their fathers and brothers were beheaded by the Queen after the war.
"We have to plan it carefully and smooth things over before we attack." one of the men stated calmly. The others agreed.
The men continued to plot against the Queen.
Forest Village
Anna was being prepared by Wendy inside the large tent before the feast. She got her hair braided in twin plaits, she was still wearing her green dress but stripped jewelries off her.
She gave a good look around the tent, it was in deep purple with rosemaling patterns. The large carpet underneath her has the Vinter snowflake at its center. The sconces around the room helped to illuminate inside the tent.
"This is my tent? Quite large for one person." Anna stated as she look at the the large cot on the left side of the tent, separated by a sheer purple drape from the rest of the area.
"Oh this is also Her Majesty's tent. I heard from Lieutenant General Olaf, the Lords thought having you both in one tent would make it easier to defend from possible attacks." Wendy explained.
Anna's heart skipped a beat at the thought of sharing the cot. Even if they shared a room, they never shared a bed. Not that everyone knew that piece of information of course.
"Where is she?"
Wendy didn't answer instead she swiped open the flap of the tent and saw Elsa, with her military uniform only draped on her shoulders, conversing with the Harolds, Phillip and Mr. Olsen while drinking a tankard of ale or wine, but most likely ale. She observed how carefree Elsa with them while sitting on a log by the fire.
"I've heard the four of them grew up together, Sir Eric was the eldest of them, about two years older than Her Majesty. Her Majesty was the next eldest then Lieutenant General Olaf then General Marshall."
"I see." Anna watched Elsa drained her tankard and was being refilled by Olaf, she could see the Queen protested and gave the tankard to him and made him drink it. "This is must've been their lives before coming here. Out in the woods to patrol and share stories while sitting by the fire."
Wendy didn't comment on the matter, instead she said "M'Lady, before I forget." she produced a foot long sheathed dagger. "Here. Her Majesty tasked me to give you this." the pommel of the dagger has a sapphire embedded on it.
"Who's dagger is this?" Anna knew the answer but she wanted to make sure.
"It's Her Majesty's."
"I-Thank you." Anna accepted the dagger.
"I'll just get Her Majesty's things from the carriage. Please excuse me." Wendy curtsied.
"Alright." Anna responded she then placed the dagger under the pillow and sat on the cot. She felt light after what happened at the lake, also it was surprising how Elsa bared herself and admitted things to her. She heard things she never expected.
Anna somehow felt how Elsa was not an entirely bad person. There were many things she observed but outright ignored them because she was so adamant on escaping and hating the latter. The castle staffs were not mean to her despite her current position, whether or not it was Elsa's order. Those castle staffs were also hired by Elsa, they were the people her grandfather expelled from the city to the poorest part of the kingdom. If Elsa was a tyrant and cold blooded murderer, she wouldn't have the love of the people. Another proof of Elsa cared about the people was not using violence against them even if she had the right to do so since they attacked the royal guards without provocation.
"How could I not see it before?" she just realized how Elsa protected her many times, no matter how twisted the process was. She could start on how she was deceived just to keep her purity but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt when she learned the truth. Then those guards who were assigned to protect her at the night of the coronation, she wasn't aware until some unknown people infiltrated the castle. Last but definitely not least was covering up her treason.
Anna knew back then that was her end but Elsa decided to spare her. The person who hated her in every fiber of her being and saved her from certain death.
"Just who are you really Elsa of House Vinter?"
Mister Olsen and his grandson, Phillip excused themselves to check for the food being prepared for feast.
"Come now Your Majesty, just one more tankard of ale wouldn't hurt, besides you'll be sleeping after this anyway." Olaf poured ale to the brim in her tankard.
"I already had about four of it!" Elsa complained. "Olaf no!" she protested but the man still did it. "Don't expect me to drink it! Here it's all yours." she passed the tankard to Olaf.
Laughter filled the air as the two other Harolds laughed. Elsa could only chuckle at Olaf's sad puppy like face. She missed this, she rarely had the time to have the people she considered family together like this. Since her ascension to the throne, all she did was shoulder the pretender King's problems; poor living conditions of the people, empty treasury, corrupt nobles, bountiful of enemies, seemingly endless state papers and last but not least. . . Anna. The royal progress became breather for her, since she was drowning with all those responsibilities she has to do.
Ever since she became Queen, she laid down groundworks of uprooting those who would try to remove her from power, so she could see who were the possible threats to her reign and she would gradually take them down until she would have full control of the kingdom. She could never thank these three men enough for the things they had done for her. If it weren't for them and their help, she wasn't sure if she could make it this far.
Eric was like an older brother to her, though he could never replace Kristian but it was still nice that she has him by her side since she gained consciousness back in Corona. He was quiet, aloof, wise and protective of her.
Meanwhile Olaf was exactly the opposite of Eric in terms of behavior. He was awfully loud and sociable to the other people.
Then there's Marshall. A bear like man in terms of his physical attributes, he was the person she treated like a younger sibling. She doted on Marshall more and would trust her life without question to him. He was quiet and always suspicious to the people surrounding her. One of the greatest trait he possessed was his unyielding loyalty. She could never find anyone more loyal than him.
"Eric, I think I never ask how you felt when I assigned you as Anna's personal guard. Do you find it to your liking?" Elsa asked.
Eric gave her a handsome smile, that showed his dimples that would make other women swoon. "Thank you for asking, Your Majesty. Yes I do, Lady Anna is a pleasant company and thoughtful to those who serve under her. Wendy and I like her, though I haven't done my duty as Captain of the Queen's guards recently."
"Oh about that, I've been thinking of giving your duties to someone for the time being since he was next after you to supervise and train my elite guards. And this someone had done a great job recently and I have yet to say my gratitude." she eyed Olaf.
"Oh golly, you meant me? Thank you for the praises Your Majesty." Olaf acted as if he was touched and didn't expect it. He stood up and flourished a bow, making them all chuckle then sat down. "I'm still on a mission of uprooting those people from that line of the family. Gods, I still couldn't believe we are related to them."
"Distantly. Distantly related to them." Marshall pressed on. "It didn't matter though, they were perceived as threat to the Vinter bloodline, and I won't stop at nothing to wipe them out."
"Even the lady in Her Majety's tent?" Eric said.
Elsa looked into the fire and waited for Marshall's answer.
"Yes. Even her. You can't imagine how much restraint I mustered when I caught her escaping from Vinter Castle. I couldn't help but to feel my blood boil whenever I see her." Marshall admitted.
She could related to that. Restraining herself at their every encounter was hard, but now she couldn't even do anything, she even saved her. Perhaps it was because she saw potential in her that could be useful against her enemies, maybe.
"You have to be steps ahead of them."
Rapunzel's words echoed in her mind.
She sighed.
Killing Anna would bring nothing but headache and plotters inside the council, the Eldr supporters and her own wouldn't sit still if that happened, though she was prepared to face them head on. If she turn her over to the law for committing treason, there would be a long debate whether they would punish her or not, when there were far more important concerns must be addressed than an unending argument for Anna's punishment.
And if she did kill Anna, it would be like setting her own kingdom on fire. The whole twenty years of hardwork would be wasted. Either way she had to deal with Anna alive or not.
"Hmm." she hummed. "I think it would be better to escort her myself to the feast." she rose and excused herself.
The three Harolds rose and bowed to their Queen, for formality sakes since there were others who were with them.
Elsa proceeded to their shared tent and just in time to hear Anna's words.
"Just who are you really Elsa of House Vinter?"
"Who?" she asked, startling the woman behind the sheer drape.
The latter swiped the sheer drape aside and met her cross the room. "It's nothing."
Elsa stared at Anna for a moment.
"Thank you for the dagger." Anna started.
"Don't mention it." Elsa replied while she went to grab another dagger and placed it on her back under her coat. "I am here to escort you to feast." she said and offered her arm to the lady.
"Yes of course." Anna said.
Anna was seated next to Elsa by the middle of a long wooden table, which was filled with variety of delicious looking food such as grilled meat, smoked fish and the desserts they were bringing, like chocolates and some fruit cakes.
The feast was held in a large clearing area away from the trees and had put up a large bonfire, with the villagers circling it while joyfully dancing with the accompaniment of music. She observed the men, women and children laughing and singing. She felt quite happy because despite what happened to them, no thanks to her grandfather, they still found reason to laugh and smile.
These people were thrown out by their own monarch to live in the middle of nowhere and yet they were happy. She wondered if she was born a common woman, would she be happy and free to do whatever she like? Marry whoever she love? A possibility.
Anna turned her gaze from the crowd to the person next to her, who has a faint smile on her lips while watching her people celebrate. If she was born a common woman she won't be feel the guilt and the weight of her family name, also she won't be forced to marry the Queen. She stared at the Queen's profile as the fire illuminated her features . . . though not for long.
"Is there something on my face?" Elsa asked without looking.
Anna immediately turned her gaze away and blushed for getting caught staring.
"N-No, I was just- sorry." she answered.
"Hmm." Elsa only hummed in response.
Anna looked down on her lap while chastising herself for doing such thing.
There was an awkward silence between and Anna preferred it compare to their shouting matches they do behind close doors. She was aware for every single time they were alone they would only argue, would they be like that for the rest of their lives if she chose to stay married? She was considering taking Olaf's offer and end this political marriage she didn't want but where would that leave her?
Everyone knew how she and the Queen shared bedchamber, only a fool would think nothing intimate was happening when they were alone, and also they hadn't had a formal wedding, making her reputation plummet even more. It was scandalous but no one dared to say a word about it since her supporters wanted an heir so does the Queen's retainers. Maybe also to ensure that the child would be the Queen's not someone else's.
"Have you done this before?" she heard Elsa asked and looked at the latter.
"What? No. Of course not." she hurriedly replied "I was never allowed."
"That's understandable." Elsa stated. Anna gave her a quizzical look before continuing. "Obviously because you were the only legitimate heiress of Runeard of course. He would certainly make sure you're well protected and this kind of thing is surely a risk to your safety." Elsa further explained.
"What about you?" Anna asked. "Do you do this often?"
For a moment sadness flashed through those glacial eyes of hers.
"Yes. Back home." Elsa answered.
"Back home? You mean Corona?"
"No." Elsa's face softened slightly before returning to stoic. "Every winter, my family. . . my mother would arrange these kind of celebrations in our courtyard. Massive bonfire at the center, the northerners feasting, singing and dancing to their hearts content."
"How wonderful." Anna responded with a smile.
"It was." Elsa shortly replied.
There was a gnawing feeling in her heart as she thought of how much damaged her grandfather had caused harm not only to one family but to many households in the kingdom just to have the crown, he ruined the citizens' lives. Thanks to all those atrocities she became like this. Hated by the nobles and commoners alike, her mud stained clothes she wore before could attest to that.
"Elsa. There's something I would like to tell you." Anna started.
"I'm listening." Elsa stated as she drank from her tankard of ale
"Thank you."
The Queen then stiffened at her words. "Whatever for?"
"Uhm. I think I haven't thank you for defending me when the people threw dirt at me and protected me, so thank you." Anna gave Elsa sincere smile.
Elsa looked at her.
"I only did what I have to do-"
"Your Highness!"
Both of them were started by the little girl, about the age of five, who went to Anna's side and tugged her sleeve.
"Oh hello there, what can I do for you?" Anna smiled at little girl.
"Dance! Please!" the girl eagerly stated.
Anna looked around, most of the commoners were looking at them waiting. She then turned her attention to Elsa who was in deep thought while staring at the fire.
"Very well. Please excuse me Your Majesty."
Elsa only nodded in acknowledgement.
She and the little girl joined the dance, it wasn't the formal dance she was accustomed too, this one was all but formal. It was full of clapping and holding of hands while their feet move around the bonfire. It was liberating.
Soon Anna found herself laughing and smiling to the people, some of the Arendelle officials joined, including General Mattias and of course Olaf. Olaf took her hand and spun her around with the joyous rhythm of the music played by the villagers.
"You're having fun M'lady." Olaf stated before casting his eyes towards the direction of the table.
"Yes I am. Surprisingly." she admitted but her gaze followed Olaf's line of sight and saw Elsa talking to the little girl who pulled her sleeve. She watched the little girl pouted at Elsa's words. The Queen's stoic face faltered and she sighed then stood up.
Olaf danced around with her until they reached a certain spot.
"I guess that's my cue." Olaf joined the others for another round of dance while General Mattias took her hand for another dance. This time it was something slow and slightly close to waltz.
"An honor to have M'lady as my partner." General Mattias stated.
"Likewise, General." Anna smiled.
She knew despite being the Queen's General, Mattias was a kind man outside the battle field, he never showed rude behavior towards her nor say awful words about her lineage.
Both of them danced in silence and gracefully move to the sound of violin and flute. Anna was spun by the General to exchange partners to pair near them. She gasped when she came face to face with the Queen.
She felt her leaned into personal space, Anna leaned away in return but the hand on her waist pulled her closer.
"Your dear Count of Isles is watching us." Elsa whispered to her ear.
Anna wanted to look behind her but the Queen pressed her forehead against hers.
"No don't look. They'll know we are aware of them if you did."
Heat rose to Anna's cheeks at the Queen's proximity. Before she wouldn't hesitate to push the other woman away but now. . . she's hesitating. Maybe it was because of the nobles watching them, she thought.
"How long are we going to continue this charade?"
"For as long as we could." the Queen leaned away from her, leaving her blushing while heart skipping beats. No she shouldn't feel like this. She mustn't feel like this, not with Elsa.
Without warning, she took the Queen's arm and led her to their shared tent. She had get away from the people's prying eyes in order to distance herself from Elsa. She couldn't just leave Elsa alone there, the nobles would surely notice since both of them were their entertainment.
She instructed Eric not to let anyone near their tent. Once inside, she let go of Elsa's arm and stood few feet away from her.
"What is that about?" Elsa asked with a smirk on her face. "Can't wait to bed me?"
"Don't be absurd!" Anna hissed. "Can you please stop being perverted for a moment?"
"Ah your defiant attitude came back." Elsa chuckled. "So what did you want that compelled you to drag me in here as if you're in heat?"
"I told you stop it!" a healthy shade of blush currently gracing her face.
"Alright, alright." if she didn't know Elsa, she might think the latter was amused. "I'll ask again, what do you want?"
"I-Uhm." Anna didn't know what to say. She looked at Elsa then cast her eyes down to the carpeted floor.
The silence between them was deafening until . . .
"I'm sorry."
Anna almost had a whiplash because of Elsa's words. "W-What?"
"I am sorry. . . for the things I did to you, other than the Great Matter that brought me here in this kingdom."
She gaped while watching the latter take off her military coat and drape it on the back of a chair, revealing her dark blue waistcoat and a black shirt underneath it.
"I disrespected you." she paused. "A lot. And I am sorry for all those times. I have a lot things to apologize for." the Queen looked away and clenched her jaw. She took a deep breath. "I think I should start on the first time I attacked you in your bedchamber, I was aggressive and rough, same with in the castle gallery. I-" Elsa bravely looked at her. "I didn't want to do it as I told you but still I apologize for doing that without your consent. I never felt so much disgust because of myself. I couldn't believe that I had considered doing it for real." Elsa slicked her hair back and did her best to look into her eyes. "I did consider doing it for a moment. I was in a desperate situation but the gods helped me to find a solution, no matter how temporary it was, and prevented me from doing what I considered most awful thing in this world."
"Elsa you didn't do it. That's enough for me." Anna assured her but she still suffered emotionally after that.
"No. What I've done was terrible. I can never forgive myself for . . . doing that. Seeing you flinching whenever I am around you made me feel the guilt a hundred fold. I'm so sorry Anna. That time all I cared about how I should make you suffer, I was cruel and beyond horrible, evil even. I won't deny how aware I was of the things I did. That's why when you slapped me one night, deserved it. I was angry yes but I knew I deserved it and much more." Anna could see the shame etched on Elsa's face. "I'm so sorry Anna. This has been gnawing my heart since that night. I do not expect you to forgive me but please let me apologize for the horrible things I did." she sighed. "I admit that I felt more guilt of doing those things to you than ending the life of your grandfather."
Anna's eyes were filled with tears. "Elsa, I-" she sobbed, she didn't expected this. "You don't know how much those words meant to me. I never thought I'd be able to hear those words from you." she moved forward and hugged the platinum blonde.
Queen stiffened at the gesture, since she wasn't sure what to do since the only people who hugged her were mostly Olaf and Rapunzel. She hesitated to return the gesture so instead she caressed Anna's strawberry blonde locks. "I'm sorry."
"I'll be fine. We'll be fine." Anna responded hoarsely. She pulled away after couple more seconds. "I'm sorry for ruining your shirt." she sniffed.
"It's fine." the latter's hand wipe her tears but she soon retracted her hand as if she was burned. She cleared her throat and pulled away. "I am sorry for the things I've done to you but I won't apologize for ending your grandfather."
"Understandable." Anna wiped her tears away but her thoughts were in the most affectionate gesture Elsa made since she'd known her. The hand that wiped her tears away.
They were silent for a while.
"Anna, I am hoping this would give us a fresh start. I will do everything in the best of my ability to get along with you. I know we have yet to address other matters but we'll get there."
"Yes. You are right." Anna smiled.
Elsa let out a small smile. "Why don't you sleep? It's late, we have a long journey tomorrow."
As if on cue Anna yawned. "You're right." she glanced at the cot on the other side of the tent. "Uhm what about you?"
"I need to write letters to the castle for the things Mr. Olsen requested," Elsa settled on the chair and start her work.
"Okay." Anna went to the other side of the changing screen to change into her night dress.
"Good night." Elsa responded.
For the first time since their first meeting, both bid each other goodnight and Anna went to sleep with her heart free from the guilt her family had caused, but she shouldn't feel this way since she committed treason herself.
Just tonight, tonight I should free myself from these burdens.
Anna kept on waking up in the course of the night, so she just laid there and pondered how much Elsa's apology mattered to her. What Elsa did was unexpected, even if she doesn't really know her she could tell the latter was a proud woman, like she would do anything by herself. She's aware how politics had influenced Elsa's decisions, some of the decisions of the nobles were being defied by her if she completely disagreed with them, one of them was their marriage, however some things were really just inevitable. Another surprising thing was being protected by Queen from the things being thrown at her. She expected Elsa to just stand still and take pleasure of what was happening but she was wrong.
She observed how Elsa talked to the people, she treated them as someone needed to be heard unlike the other entitled nobles who looked down on them. She genuinely cared for them and didn't even harm them even if they were disrespectful towards her. Her teal eyes were on the sleeping platinum blonde on the high backed chair with her head lolled on the side. Anna rose from her cot and walked towards her.
"Elsa." she fixed the latter's stray hair then gently tapped her shoulder.
However her hand was seized. She gasped in surprise
Once the latter recognized the person in front of her she released her hand. "Apologies"
"It's fine. I forgot about your reflexes." Anna smiled as Elsa sat properly on the chair.
"What it is?" Elsa asked.
"I'm sorry for waking you up, it's just sleeping on the chair must've been difficult. Why don't you move into the cot for comfort." Anna explained.
"I slept while standing before, so sitting on a chair is actually luxury for me." Elsa explained as she stood up to check outside the tent "It's still dark, you should sleep more." she went to washed her face on the water from the basin near the writing desk. She wore her military uniform and turned to Anna. "If you don't want to go back to bed then you should fix your lion's mane."
Anna blushed in embarrassment as she felt her horrible bed hair. "I-I should fix it."
Elsa nodded and got out of the tent
Surprisingly, just few moments Elsa went out Wendy came in and helped her dress and tame her horrible bed hair.
"Wendy, can you tell Elsa that I'm looking for her?"
"Of course, M'lady."
She was wearing the green dress she wore yesterday and her hair was up in a bun. She brushed the non-existent lint from her skirt before stepping out of their tent.
"I heard you were looking for me." Elsa stated, then moment she emerged.
"Oh uhm yes." Anna looked at Elsa and uncharacteristically blushed in embarrassment, maybe because of her horrible bed hair earlier. "Are you busy?"
"Not at the moment. Why?"
"Nothing." Anna smiled before looking away.
"Oh okay. I'll have Eric accompany you if you want to walk around before we move." Elsa turned to the guard nearby. "Kindly fetch Eric for me please." the guard nodded and went to check on his commanding officer.
Anna looked down and spoke, almost whispering. "I- uhm I was hoping you'll accompany me instead . . .but Eric is fine as well." she quickly added the later part.
"It will be my pleasure to accompany you."
Anna looked up to Elsa. "Really?" delight filled her eyes. It seems getting along with the latter was not that bad at all.
Elsa nodded. "Really."
"Thank you."
Both of them were accompanied by their own personal guards into the forest. Elsa had her sword with her while Anna hid Elsa's dagger on her back under her jacket. Eric was walking in front of them to ensure there wasn't any potential danger while Marshall was behind them.
The sky was slowly illuminated by the sun and the birds chirped atop of the trees.
"I've heard from Olaf that you like books." Anna broke the ice between them. It seemed despite what they talked about the night before, they were still awkward to each other.
"I do."
"That's great! I do too!"
"We have something in common then." Elsa smiled a bit.
"What kinds of books?" Anna excitedly asked.
"Hmm. history, warfare, politics, anything that has relevance on ruling a kingdom."
"Me too. I mean my tutors had me read those things. All I ever know about politics were from books. I haven't had a personal experience on it since I wasn't allowed to." Anna explained.
The Queen gave her a quick glance. "No wonder why you were so naïve on how you deal with the things that surrounds you." she signaled the two Harolds to stay back and give them some privacy. "You were so easy to read that's why people would think you are easy to manipulate."
"What's that suppose to mean?" Anna frowned at Elsa's words.
"You are emotional and it always affects your judgment." Elsa pointed out. "Sending treasonous letters was one of them, you didn't even made sure if you could trust this person." Elsa gauged the her reaction and continued. "I understand it was a desperate move but still your emotion was evident on the words you wrote. You were touched and overwhelmed to have someone who still supports you after everything. But did it occur to you if this person could be trusted?"
Anna pondered then whispered. "I don't now."
The latter shook her head then sighed "See? You weren't sure." Both of them reached the edge for the forest only to realized they were on a cliff side. In the horizon was the beautiful sunrise. She momentarily forgot they were in a middle of conversation because of the view.
The Queen stared at the horizon stoically. "Anna, from now on you should be careful with your words, because once uttered you can never take them back. This happened when you told them about your supposed pregnancy. It only made matters worse for both of us."
"I couldn't help myself. No one ever told me to conceal how I feel."
Since she was a child, she was like an open book to everyone around her. It felt like she couldn't keep a secret because they would know, just like how she took chocolates in the royal kitchen late at night only to be discovered because of her ramblings.
"I was like that too and it didn't help me at all." Elsa admitted.
Anna stared at Elsa at that. "But now you are different. I couldn't figure you out, more often than not you confuse me. You can turn from hot to cold in split second. There were also times I felt that you cared about me only to crush that feeling with your harsh words, so I just don't know how to deal with you."
"No one ever truly know how to deal with me. They could only reach the surface but no further. And to those who was able to reach the surface were the ones who are close to me." Elsa said.
"Would you allow me to go even further?"
Anna's words made Elsa turned to her and looked her in the eyes.
"I think it's still early for you to ask that from me." Elsa dismissed Anna's question.
There was silence then. . .
"The General betrayed you."
"What?" Anna's gut sank at those words.
Elsa turned to her and said. "Someone had asked the General to send you a letter to orchestrate your escape then use you as a symbol for their cause to take me down. Marshall discovered couple of blood stained letters from the remains of the that low born General. There's another claimant to Aren's throne. They were planning to free you, if they succeeded then either this person would marry you or kill you after using you." the latter could see the shock on her face.
"W-Who is it?" Anna managed to asked.
"We have yet to know his identity. I never wanted to say anything but you have the right to know since you are involve in it. I didn't say this to scare you but prepare you for what's coming. This man, whoever he is, won't stop at nothing to get the throne from us."
Anna couldn't believed it, she was betrayed once more by the person she trusted. She blindly trusted the man after few words of loyalty to her house. She just realized how close she came to danger. "I'm such a fool." she mumbled.
"You were." she heard Elsa stated. "And if you intend to stay as fool then there's no hope for you."
Anna felt her heart sank for being tricked. She had put her faith to a person who wished to harm her, she knew this mustn't go on for much longer or else it would kill her. She has to be clever henceforth.
"Do not fret. This person has to go through me first."
Thank you for reading!
