Ch8: Baron's Mango Strike Back!
Kallen is walking home back to her home before she spotted someone trying to clear up a broken vase after walking through the front door.
"Kallen- I mean Mistress," The maid said. "This is an accident…" she said, nervous.
"Again?" Kallen asked, looking at the broken vase.
"Just get it clear up and be quick about it." Kallen said.
"Mistress, you seem to be going to school a lot lately, have you made any friends?" This cause Kallen to become angry and walked passed her.
"I don't see it any of your business…" Kallen said before heading to her room and shuts the door.
"Go away…" Kallen muttered with a hurtful expression.
Why the hell you become like this… Kallen thought angrily.
(Cue X.U by Sawano Hiroyuki)
(Instrumental) The screen opens up to show Lelouch and Zangetsu back-to-back as light covered the screen before changing to show Kallen, Suzaku, Orpheus, Rai, Euphemia and Nunnally before the screen was covered with vines and purple fruits.
(I don't want nobody to get killed) Lelouch was sitting on his Lancelot Club with his hands supporting his chin as rain heavily cascaded around him
(I'll come and get, I am always ready to fight) The screen changed to show Zangetsu sinking into a lake while another screen shows Ayano with a hand over her chest.
(Instrumental) Lockseeds appeared before they were seen scattering across the world.
(So don't take all of the blame) The scene showed the Black Knights in their headquarters.
(We're all as bad) The Britannian Military came into focus.
(Ah wait, don't take all of it away) Now different factions from across Earth flashed by.
(You always do) Armored figures showed up in the darkness, the only lights being their visors.
(We'll always be something you cannot control) In the shadows, a flame-shaped head was flanked by two Riders with unique bows.
(We will overcome – Your salvation has begun) Deep in the forest of Helheim, a white creature wielding a Zanbato was leading an army of Inves.
(No suns, no lights) Lelouch was looking to the side before changing to Ayano doing the same thing.
(Such a mess all over) The screen changed to show Lelouch and Ayano holding their hands out to each other.
(Don't kill your hopes) Now CC was standing on an embedded Musou Saber as wind blew through her hair and clothes.
(You make me realize who I need) The screen changes to show Lelouch looking up with a determined glare before he is encased in his Zangetsu armor.
(I'll be there, hold on) Zangetsu charged forward slashing the Shika Inves with his sword.
(But it changes somehow) Ryugen fired at Inves and Britannian soldiers alike.
(So where are you now) Zangetsu and Ryugen jumped into the air and performed their Rider Kicks.
(I'll reach you, my darling) Baron pierced an Inves with the Banaspear before cutting two more in half.
(The shadows of the earth) Gaim slashed an Inves with his dual blades before combining both in a wide, area-clearing sweep.
(Illusions so bright) Baron and Gaim charged into a mixed army of Britannia soldiers and Inves.
(They're falling just to run – let them know-) Now the Riders watched as both the Black Knights and Britannia launched all-out Knightmare Frame attacks.
(When it's the pain that makes us so human after all) Leila was watching the battle as the rest of her force joins in the battle.
(Toward city, a border patrol) Lelouch kept walking alone in the city, strange plants growing behind his trail.
(1000 precious words, just to start with a spark) The camera turned to Zangetsu and others helping each other fighting the Inves before Zangetsu charged forward and clashed with the white figure swords-first, sparks blinding the screen for a bit.
(To the core) Soon Zangetsu, Baron, Ryugen, and Gaim appeared as the title page appeared.
"Everyone, we have a new student here so please treat him like you would yourselves." The teacher said as Rai stepped in the room.
"Hello, my name is Rai. I'm looking forward to learning with you." Rai said.
"Same to you, Rai. Now please take the seat next to Kallen." The teacher instructed.
Rai soon approach the seat next to Kallen and sat down as the class starting. Throughout the day, Rai was tried from school but he heard all this talking about the Black Knights and the Kamen Riders. It wasn't long until he went into the Student Council meet room, Rai find only Lelouch reading a magazine.
"Oh hey, Rai. What up? Any luck on your memories?" Lelouch asked, puts down the magazine.
Rai shook his head. "Nothing new. Anyways, I was kind of hoping you can answer a question of mine." He said. Lelouch nodded.
"Do you know anything about the Black Knights or the Kamen Riders?" Rai asked.
"You haven't heard of them?" Rai shook his head.
"Only from what other students mention. I thought you might know something." Rai answered.
Lelouch ponder. "I see, where to begin? Alright, let's start off with this; what do you know about Britannia and Japan?" he asked.
"Not much, only that Area 11used to be Japan when Britannia, the leading power, invaded it." Rai answered.
"Correct. Now why?" Lelouch asked.
"Japan has something important to them, right?"
"Correct, a natural resource called Sakuradite. It's used as an energy source. Britannia took over Japan because Japan has over seventy percent of the world's supply of Sakuradite. Britannian invaded Japan to access it and of course, their traditional oppression came after Japan's defeat." Lelouch explains.
"Oppression?"
"Britannia is the kind of country in which only the strongest can live. They hold this principle to heart and because of it, they stripped Japan and its people of their traditional name using 'Eleven' instead. They also show no remorse toward these Elevens and occasionally abuse them, using the excuse, 'putting them in their place'."
"I see…" Rai pondered. "But where do the Black Knights and the Kamen Riders fall into this?" Rai continued with another question.
"Over the past seven years, Eleven terrorist groups have been trying to push Britannia out of their country but had no luck. Even the biggest one, the Japanese Liberation Front, had no luck. But only recently there was progress. An armored individual known as Kamen Rider Zangetsu managed to fight back against the Britannians, even being able to take down Britannian Knightframes all by himself. Zangetsu soon killed the former viceroy, Clovis la Britannia, and rescued the accused Eleven. Zangetsu was also spotted taking down creatures as well and managed to defeat Princess Cornelia. When the JLF took Britannian hostages, Zangetsu formed his own resistance group along with recruit a new Kamen Rider Baron to rescue them. They becomes the Black Knights."
Rai blinks. "Why? I thought the Riders stood only for Elevens." Rai said confused.
"That's what people think but tell me so far, what message do you think the Riders were sending?" Lelouch asked. Rai pondered about it for a few minutes.
"I think the message was that Black Knights didn't just stand for Elevens. Zangetsu and Baron were trying to emphasize the point that they would defend the weak against the strong. They wouldn't even ally themselves with anyone that uses innocent civilians for their own gain. In turn, this makes them popular on both sides. And they present a chance to push Britannia out of Area 11." Lelouch smiled at his response.
"Couldn't have said it better myself." He said.
Soon enough, Kallen then went in to the room.
"There you are, Rai!" Kallen said.
"Yeah, what's up?" Rai asked.
"Only that the Madam President wanted to announce something but since you're here…" Suddenly Lelouch's phone started to rang and he answered.
"Hello?"
"Lelouch, it seem I got a lead about sight of more Sengoku Driver users." Orpheus said as this made Lelouch's eyes wide.
"Kallen, can you take care of Rai since I got an urgent matter to take care of." Lelouch explains. This made Kallen confused before she nodded.
"Ok, Lelouch." Kallen said.
Lelouch looks at Rai, "I am sure the meeting is about your living arrangement, Rai. Don't mention what we were talking about." He said.
"Sure, no problem." Rai said.
"Thanks." With that Lelouch left, leaving Kallen and Rai alone.
"What were you two talking about?" Kallen asked curious.
"I can't say specifics but mainly about the Kamen Riders and the Black Knights." Rai answered.
Could Lelouch thinking about making him a Black Knight? Kallen pondered. "I see… What is your opinion about them?" Kallen asked.
"I don't really know but so far the Riders sound interesting. Being able to take down Knightframes down by themselves? It's impressive and they do have a noble goal." Rai answered.
"I see." Kallen stated. "So any luck on your memories?"
"None." Kallen soon placed her hand on Rai's shoulder.
"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll remember something." Rai smiled.
"Thanks."
Lelouch went to the rooftop where no one around before answering Orpheus's call.
"What can you tell me about them?" Lelouch asked.
"According to my connection, there seem to be two and they're hired guards for the trading of Refrain." Orpheus said as this made Lelouch's eyes narrow.
"So Refrains huh…?" Lelouch never really like that drug passing in Japan and this is the first thing must go down immediately. "I can't believe Sagara randomly handing them free belts…" he muttered. "What are their powers?" he asked.
"One is heavy fighter and another is a speed fighter. It looks like they're meeting with their clients near Shinjuku after school." Orpheus said.
"I will see you there." Lelouch said before ending the call.
"Then, it's settled then!" Milly exclaimed as Lelouch just came into the room.
"What did I miss?" Lelouch asked, got on his chair.
"Where were you? Nevermind, we decide that Kallen will be Rai's caretaker. Also since Rai doesn't really know the Area that well, Kallen will be showing him around as well." Milly explains.
"I see." Lelouch said. It looks like he can't ask Kallen for any assistances without exposed her identity as Baron and member of Black Knights.
"So Lelouch, what happened?" Rai asked.
"Just another call I have to take care of." Lelouch said. But his mind is busy with working on a plan for the upcoming raid of Sengoku Drivers again.
C.C. was eating pizza in Lelouch's room while playing with her Lime Lockseed. Soon the green hair woman start talking to herself.
"I know what I say but he has unexpected ally in former co-worker of mine. But I didn't told them of the plan if it makes you feel better."
"…."
"Huh? He is ignored him lately. Why?" C.C. asked.
"Hello there!" A familiar voice said as C.C. turns around to see Sagara sitting on Lelouch's chair right now.
"How long have you been there?" C.C. questioned with a serious look.
"Not long enough." Sagara chuckle. "I see you're talking to her. Your previous Contractor, isn't that right?" he asked.
This causes C.C. to freeze. "How do you know…?" she asked.
"I know about your plan with them regard to the Ragnarok Connection, your wish, and even your real name… Cera." Sagara said with teasing tone.
C.C. clenched on her Lime Lockseed as she stare with drill like looks at Sagara, "Damn you. If you tell Lelouch-"
"Don't worry, I will keep my mouth shut for now. But how long could you keep the act without spill any beans about what really happened to his mother, Cera? Lelouch isn't really a child who needs someone to look after him like yourself." Sagara said, shaking his hands. "Also earth to Marianne in your head, I can't wait to see you receive the worse mother of the year award." Sagara chuckled before vanished into thin air.
"How does he know much about the plan?" C.C. pondered to herself. "I am not like a child…" she added.
Unaware to C.C., Sayoko passed by Lelouch's room to overheard what C.C. just say before she left to care for Nunnally. Even she could tell there is more to C.C. and plans to discuss this with Lelouch later.
(With Lelouch)
After school is finish, Lelouch got into his hooded uniform and drove off to meet up with Orpheus in the meeting location.
It wasn't long until he finds Orpheus watching for anything strange before he turns around and saw him.
"Did I miss anything yet?" Lelouch asked.
Orpheus shook his head. "I only see a couple of arm guards, a Knightframe and a big truck lot of Refrains. But no Riders spotted." He said.
Lelouch looks over where Orpheus saw and there couple of armed guards along with a truck full with the disgusted Refrain.
"Lelouch, I detected two more Sengoku Drivers signature coming close to this area." Club's voice said from the Club Lockseed.
They soon saw a white truck as two mercenary men coming out to greet the arm guards. Something about them made Orpheus's eyes wide.
"Oh boy… I should expected it them." Orpheus said with a frown.
"You know them?" Lelouch asked.
"The Armored Brothers, they're some of best mercenary even though I cross path with them once." Orpheus explains. "I never expected them to be Riders." He continued.
"This could be a challenge." Lelouch remarked.
"So you two are the Armored Brothers?" the leader of armed guards asked.
The mercenary men nodded. "We're here to offered assistance in protection." The first one explain.
"It is a pleasure to finally meet the Armored Brothers." The mafia boss said, coming out from the large truck.
"Shall we get down to business?" The second mercenary asked.
Lelouch and Orpheus looks at each other as they jumped out of their hiding spot with their pistols ready.
"That is far enough…" Lelouch said with a serious expression.
"Well… well, if it isn't the OZ?" The first Mercenary asked with a smirk. "Never thought you dropped by."
"Though it nice to see you and your brother again, but you have something we want." Orpheus added with sarcasm.
"And we're here to shut down your Refrain traded." Lelouch said.
"You're in no position of making demands." The Mafia Boss said before signal his henchmen to attack them. "Kill those fools!" he ordered.
But Lelouch already got out his Club Lockseed and summoned the Lancelot Club from the large Crack as the sentinel Knightframe appears in front of them as it created energy shield to protect them.
"Let's go," Orpheus said as he and Lelouch places their Drivers on their waists. They then got out their Lockseeds.
"MELON!"
"BUDOU!"
Soon two Cracks appeared above them as the two did their poses before locked their Lockseeds into their Drivers.
"LOCK ON!"
"Henshin!" They shout as they pushed down their Cutting Blades.
"SOIYA! MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"
"HAI~! BUDOU ARMS! RYU, HOU, HA-HA-HA!"
The two transformed into their Rider forms as Zangetsu and Ryugen before charging forward at the armed guards while Club facing against the Knightframe.
"Interesting… brother, let's show them not to mess with our clients." The second brother said to his brother as they nodded.
They takes out their Sengoku Drivers and place them on their waists as yellow and silver belts appeared around their waist.
"KURUMI!
MATSUBBOKURI!"
Soon two more Cracks appeared above their heads as metallic pinecone and walnut appeared above them.
"Henshin…!"
The metal Kurumi Arms fell on top of the first brother's head as a ripple of energy made his bodysuit form. It was pure black with silver bracers and graves, lightweight but still able to protect him. Inside the Kurumi Arms, the head is cover by a black ornate helmet styled not unlike an eastern infantryman with a silver mouthplate with slits in it for breathing. The eyepieces were large and round, easy to see through. When the helmet was formed, an attachment connected to the back, looking like the jagged form of the Kurumi Arms, and turned the eyepieces bright yellow. The Arms then disassembled, the front portion flipping over to become a square chestplate with thick orange panels while the rest lowered over his shoulders, with the back pieces landing on his back, completing the suit. A flash covered his hands, becoming almost comically large metal fists covered in studded orange steel with rubies embedded on the back.
"KURUMI ARMS! MISTER KNUCKLEMAN!"
The metal pinecone dropped on top of second brother's head as a black bodysuit replaced his clothes. Inside the metal pinecone, his head is replaced with a helmet resembling that of a common soldier with a silver headband, wide visor, and a silver chin strap. It wasn't long until a triangular attachment landed with the surface and fills his visor with glowing yellow light. The Matsubokkuri Arms opened up and then folded onto his body to form armor with the front folding over his chest, the same on his back, and then the top and sides coming over his shoulders. Last to appear was a spear with a pinecone just under the spearhead which held in his right hand.
"SOYIA! MATSUBOKKURI ARMS! ICHIGEKI IN THE SHADOW!"
They become Kamen Rider Knuckle and Kamen Rider Kurokage. Knuckle jumps in Zangetsu's way as he blocks his Musou Saber with his Kurumi Bomber.
"Interesting… I supposed that I can't persuade you to join my Black Knights huh?" Zangetsu asked.
"Nope. But I heard there is a big bounty on your head." Knuckle response before pounced Zangetsu back with his other Kurumi Bomber.
"Also I am here for a rematch, OZ." Kurokage said before went for a jab at Ryugen with his Kagematsu.
But Ryugen dodges his spear attacks. "I can't believe someone actually using a weaker Lockseed to battle." Ryugen chuckled.
"What is that!?" Kurokage barked as he trying to hit the gunslinger Rider with his spear.
(With Kallen and Rai)
Kallen is currently showing Rai around the city to help him recovered his memories. Throughout their exploration, Rai has been curious about the ghettos where the Elevens lived. When they got there, it was obvious to Rai's shock.
"This is terrible…" Rai managed to squeeze out.
"Yeah, this is Britannia's true face." Kallen said with a sad expression.
"To the victor goes the spoils, huh? In this case, they steal them, trample on them and move on with normal lives as if nothing happened."
"You're right. This is Britannia's lifestyle, how they view it." Kallen stated.
Rai walks around the settlement until he noticed something odd. "Rai, what is wrong?" Kallen asked.
"It's just that… I feel like I've been in someplace like this." Rai answered.
"Really?"
"Yeah like Déjà vu or something like it." Rai answered.
"It could be possible that you once lived in a place like this I think." Kallen suggested.
This made Rai blinks. "If so then does that mean I'm an Eleven, no Japanese?" he asked.
"It's possible." Rai looks over and to his surprise that Kallen is smiling. "Why are you smiling?" he asked.
Kallen notices and tries to regain her composure.
"Oh…well…" Kallen stuttered while trying to hold back the blush.
"Are you smiling because of the possibility that I'm Japanese?" Rai inquired.
"I'm smiling because you remember something. After all, I'm here trying to help you in that case." Kallen defending herself.
"In that case… T-Thank you, Kallen." Rai said.
"Y-You're welcome." Kallen said.
They soon continued exploring around the Shinjuku Ghetto in hope of finding clues to Rai's own memory. It wasn't long until they heard clash of metals and sounds of guns nearby.
"What was that?" Rai asked.
"I don't know…" Kallen said.
(Back in the battleground)
Zangetsu currently still clashing with Knuckle as the white Rider spotted the Refrain Truck is escaping down the street.
"Damn you, don't you know what Refrain does to people?" Zangetsu growl at Knuckle.
"Who would thought Zangetsu is actually a Britannia sympathizer to those numbers…?" Knuckle mocked before pushing down his Cutting Blade.
"KURUMI SQUASH!"
Knuckle charge forward as he unleashed energy like punches with his Kurumi Bombers at Zangetsu who countered swiftly with his own finisher.
"SOIYA! MELON SQUASH!"
Before Knuckle pulled another punch, Zangetsu soon accelerated toward Knuckle and deliver furious slashes on the Rider's armor chest.
Meanwhile, Ryugen was trying to fire at Kurokage who blocked his hosts before striking him with the Kagematsu.
This causes Ryugen to tumbling back and lands on the ground, Kurokage about to come close to him with his spear ready.
But Ryugen turns around and firing rapid shots with his Budou Ryuhou. This causes Kurokage to scream in pain as sparks flying in the air and stumbled back.
"Damn you…" Kurokage gritting his teeths.
"Well, a mercenary always be sneaky," Ryugen response.
Before Ryugen could reach for the Cutting Blade of his Driver, he and other Riders suddenly spotted incoming bullets at them and they dodged.
"The police force…" Zangetsu said with a frowned.
They spotted Sutherlands were firing their guns at them as this cause smoke appears everywhere. Knuckle spotted Kurokage and the two looks at each other.
"Let's get out of here, brother. Our clients managed to get away." Kurokage said.
Knuckle nodded as the two Nut Riders soon made a run from the scene while Zangetsu and Ryugen are busy with dealing the Sutherlands.
Ryugen noticed the two Nut Riders escaping. "They take the chance to flee." He said before pushed down the Cutting Blade once.
"HAI~! BUDOU SQUASH!"
Ryugen aimed at the head of a Sutherland before firing purple spheres struck the head along with a purple dragon made of energy smashed into him. The explosion on the Sutherland cause the mecha to fall upon another one which hit the building nearby and land on the ground.
"But I got a feeling we will see them again," Zangetsu suggested before sending his Melon Defender to crippled more Sutherlands in the process.
When two Sutherlands were about to attack with their blades, Club charges forward and slashing them with the energy blade as they exploded.
"Let's go." Zangetsu said to Ryugen.
The two Riders soon jumps into the cockpits of Club as both Riders take their seats. Ryugen looks surprised at the interiors of the Club.
"Interesting…" Ryugen said.
"Yeah, it time we head out of here." Zangetsu said.
Soon Club materialized both Melon Defender and Budou Ryuhou as the Knightframe firing several purple shoots at the Sutherlands were after them. The Knightframes were struck by the shots but there are some of them dodging their attacks and were about to attack them.
But their arms got struck in by an unexpected firing from the left. Club turns around and seeing a slight damaged Sutherland shooting at them.
"Who is that?" Zangetsu asked confused.
"Lelouch, I detect the presence of Baron's Driver in that Knightframe." Club said, looking with his scanner.
This made Zangetsu and Ryugen looks surprised.
"Did you says that Rookie is in there?" Ryugen asked, slight surprised.
Zangetsu ponder why Kallen is here when he never told her about the job and got a feeling she has a different reason. "Hmm… if Kallen offer to help, then we better make a good use of it." Zangetsu said with a serious tone.
Club is right that Kallen is within the Sutherland, but she isn't the one who is driving the Knightframe at all. It was none other than Rai.
"How did you do that?" Kallen wonder with surprised expression.
"It… just instinct." Rai response. He is even surprised that he knows how to control a Knightframe like a Sutherland.
He didn't know how he does it since he was watching one of the Sutherland collapsed on the ground. But he and Kallen were surprised to see the infamous Zangetsu along with three new Riders he never seen before. He is amazed to see the battle between the Riders since it was incredible before the Police Force came with their Sutherlands.
Rai control the Sutherland to grab another Knightframe's arm and he torn off before punch the head as the Sutherland exploded.
"Get back." Club response to Rai's Sutherland.
Rai turns around to see Club's Melon Defender start glowing before Club throws the shield to sever more Sutherland Knightframes in the process.
"Amazing…" Kallen said in awe. She have to admit this is the first time she even seen Lelouch's Knightframe up close other than seeing the news about it.
"I have to agree…" Rai having a similar expression as Kallen did.
It wasn't long until they taken down the rest of Sutherland Knightframes before Rai noticed the Club is looking at him.
"I recommendation we retreated now before they send possible reinforcement after us." Club said into his radio.
Rai is in conflicted about what to do when Kallen whispered into his ear.
"We might as well because we are now dragged into this and if anyone has a chance at standing against Britannia, it's the Riders." Kallen said.
Rai nodded and soon got on Club's frequency.
"Copy that." Rai response to the Club.
The two Knightframes start getting away before the reinforcement arrived.
After the close encounter with Knuckle and Kurokage at the Refrain traffic, Lelouch and Orpheus went to meet with Kallen in an abandon train station about what she was doing there.
"So let me get this straight… you were helping him to find out about his past, because we were clashing with the Armored Brothers… we interrupted your date with the new boy, Rookie." Orpheus said with a teasing grin.
This made Kallen's face turn red as her hair before punch him in the shoulder. "R-Rai isn't my boyfriend! A-And we weren't on a date either! Got that, Orpheus!" She exclaimed with furious rage.
"Oww… You don't have to be so defensive about it, Rookie." Orpheus groan in pain while rubbing his shoulder.
"Don't call me Rookie! It's Kallen, remember that!" Kallen barked.
They suddenly hear laughing and saw Lelouch laughing at them.
"This isn't funny, Lelouch!" Kallen protested.
"Sorry… Kallen." Lelouch apologized, still holding his laugh. He wasn't sure why but Kallen reminded him of Ayano for some reason. "Anyway, you mention that Rai felt a connection to Shinjuku, right?" he asked.
Kallen nodded. "There is a chance he might… be Japanese." she response.
"The fact your pal is a skilled Knightframe pilot means he might be part of resistance or a former military member." Orpheus said.
"Hmm… that is a possibility we should consider." Lelouch said.
Kallen decides to change the topic. "What are we going to do about those two Riders we saw?" Kallen asked with serious expression. "They seem to be quite tough challenge." She added.
"Indeed, they are. But we should keep an eye out for them when Black Knights started their first mission… crushing the Refrain distribution." Lelouch said.
Like Lelouch, Kallen have a totally dislike for the Refrains. "There will be no doubt they will have no choice but to come out and fight us." Kallen said.
"I planned on taking their Drivers and what they know about the forest…" Lelouch said, looking out at the sunset.
Kallen looks at her watch and got up, "I see… I need to go home, Lelouch." The redhair rebel said.
"Good luck with your boyfriend, Kallen." Orpheus said with a teasing tone.
Kallen turns around and glares at Orpheus. "HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND, YOU FUCKING DUMBASS!" Kallen exclaimed with a scarlet face. She doesn't know how Lelouch befriend someone like him.
Lelouch looks at his old friend with dismay. "You really do enjoying teasing her, don't you?" he asked to his old friend.
"Well… it more fun than doing it to Hyuuga. He always try to kill me for making fun of him." Orpheus said with a chuckle.
"Oh, I wonder why…" Lelouch remarked.
(In the E.U.)
In a military base, a certain blue hair teen sneezed.
"AAACCCHOOO!" Akito sneezed out for no reason.
Leila turns to looks at Akito. "Lt. Hyuuga, are you alright?" Leila asked.
Akito wiped his noses and looks at Leila, "It's nothing… Commander." he response calm.
But I have this strange urge to kill a certain fool… Akito thought to himself.
(The next day)
Kallen find Rai looking out on the rooftop by himself. Rai seem to be in deep thought about what occurs yesterday than pay any attention to Kallen approaching him from behind.
"Rai, are you alright?" Kallen asked curious.
"I am fine…Kallen. I didn't know what wrong with me. I was just following my instincts and I really can't explains but it like I knew how to from the moments I got in the cockpit." Rai explains. "What do you think this means?"
Kallen thinks back to Orpheus's idea. "Well, someone who has military training. It seem you might be either a member of resistance cell or part of military member." She answered.
"If so then I should leave, it's too dangerous to get you or others involved." Rai said.
"Hey, it just a hypothesis, alright?" Kallen said.
"Okay."
"But we got more clues than before." Kallen said.
"Yeah, but I am surprised you know that much about Knightframes…" Rai pointed out. He never thought someone like Kallen knows much about them.
"It's one of my strange hobbies… just don't tell anyone about them." Kallen said. Rai nodded.
When lunch starts, people were stares at them as they were eating lunch together. While eating his lunch, Rai is thinking about what they know so far about him. He possessed military train skills, knowing how to pilot a Knightframe, and this strange power within him.
"Rai, is there something wrong?" Kallen asked with worried expression. Rai shook his head.
"Oh, nothing. Don't worry about it." Rai said with assurance.
"Ok. So are you familiar with chop sticks?" Kallen asked.
This made Rai blinks at the redhead and tilted his head. "Chop sticks…? What are those?" he asked.
"When this land used to be Japan, chop sticks were used as a way of eating here." Kallen explains.
"I see… but I haven't heard anything about that." Rai response.
"Maybe if we use them on Japanese food then that can help." Kallen said.
"I see…" Rai said.
(With Lelouch)
"So you want Rai to be part of the Black Knights…?" Lelouch asked. He is currently talking on his cellphone with Kallen in Helheim forest.
"Yes, I do. I think he would help us." Kallen response.
"True… but did you talk with Kaname and others about this yet? I know he did helps us back then, but are you sure that others will accept him?" Lelouch asked. He is able to join them because he helped them back in Shinjuku and avenging their previous leader.
"I will talk them about letting Rai joining us. But if you don't, I promised that I will make your life extremely miserable…" Kallen said with dark tone. For some reason, Lelouch can't help feeling a little chill down his spine.
"I see… I will thinking about my decision. I'm currently in a meeting with someone now." Lelouch said.
"Understood." Kallen said before the call ended.
Lelouch turns around as he spots Bujin Gaim emerged from the forest. The two often came here in the forest to have meet about what occurs on the Britannia government or mainly Suzaku. "Is it true that Suzaku being secretly seeing with Euphie lately?" he asked.
Bujin Gaim nodded. "Yes, my lord. They spotted me when I was fighting against the Inves." He explains. "I have to admit… your friend is quite naïve and it could possibility get him kill someday." He added.
"That sound a lot like Suzaku alright," Lelouch said with hint of angry.
"He claimed that he is aiming to become the Knight of One to get back Japan." Bujin Gaim added. This causes Lelouch's eyes to open wide.
"That idiot… he will make things only worse." Lelouch said. He especially doubt the Emperor will allow him to get Japan for free…
"I mention the same thing. I don't mean to be rude but won't revealed your identity made him join your cause?" Bujin Gaim asked.
Lelouch shook his head. "Showing my face would not have achieved the results I want. But most of all… it take something of considerable magnitude to change his opinions on anything." Lelouch said.
"I see…" Bujin Gaim said. He was thinking about the truth of Helheim forest, but he figure it might make things even worse. "So what are you going to do?" he asked.
Lelouch has been ponder about this even since he discovers Suzaku is the pilot for Lancelot. "As his friend, I will do what is best for Suzaku and keeping him away from the battlefield as much as possible." Lelouch answered with a determine look. "Bujin Gaim, I want you to keep an eye on both Suzaku and Euphie while Cornelia is away on her mission. Though Suzaku may be my childhood friend, I don't want him to put Euphie at risk of Helheim…" he said.
Bujin Gaim nodded. "I understand, sir." he said.
(Next day)
Rai can't help feeling more confused about who he was after having a weird dream that could be a memory to him. It seem he have a little sister name Stella who wasn't far from his age.
Right now, Rai is currently continued chess matches with his friend Lelouch. It seem the two are tied again and they been playing for forty five minutes. Rai suddenly got up from his chair.
"Hey, I'm going to take a break, you don't mind?" Rai asked.
"Not at all. I am going to the bathroom." Lelouch replied before getting up from the table and left.
When Rai was walking in the hallway, he spotted Kallen approach him and placed a note in his hand.
"Go to the address there after school today. Make sure you aren't followed." Kallen whispered it in Rai's ear.
This made Rai pondered as Kallen left him sometime to make his own decision.
Kallen soon spotted Lelouch and the two passed each other.
"I give it to him." Kallen said.
"Good, I and Ryugen will be there." Lelouch said. This cause Kallen to twitching when mention the Chinese theme Rider.
"Is there any way to shut his mouth, Lelouch?" Kallen asked. Lelouch shrugged.
"You still haven't give him a reason to not call you Rookie." Lelouch said.
(Shinjuku)
Rai looks the address which was a small warehouse in Shinjuku and he looks around before seeing Kallen who have her hairband, energetic appearance, and different clothes.
"Kallen…" Rai said.
"What do you think? Compared to how I look at school, I mean. Does it surprise you?" Kallen asked.
"Maybe a little." Rai response.
"Follow me." Kallen said before they went inside the warehouse.
Kallen brought out her flashlight. She knelt at the floor, pulling a hatch revealing underground stairs. She went in and Rai followed her from behind. The place appeared to be an abandoned shopping center.
Kallen soon faced Rai. "Rai, I want to ask a favor from you." She said.
"What is it?" the white hair teen asked.
"Will you fight against Britannia with us?" Rai looks surprised and speechless.
"I…"
"Please, you understand that what Britannia's doing is wrong, right?" Kallen asked. "They abused their power on those who couldn't fight back."
"…."
"The way you felt at Shinjuku and you defended that man-"
"Y-You saw that?" Rai asked. Kallen nodded.
"After seeing that, I know you're closer to being Japanese than Britannian. Please fight alongside us." Kallen said.
"Us…? Wait, the terrorists from the other day, the Black Knights… you're one of them?" Rai asked.
"We're not terrorists. We're knights of justice fighting for the sake of Japan. Our leader, me, and another can accomplish this."
"Leader? Who is he?"
"We will meet him and his associated. So Rai, fight with us… for a better future." Kallen said before leading Rai further into the area. They reached the end of an underground tunnel. The two entered an area with bright light and several Black Knight members along with two armored figures that made Rai looks shocked. They were Kamen Rider Zangetsu and Kamen Rider Ryugen.
"No way… The Kamen Riders." Rai said in awe before stop when he saw Kallen got out her Sengoku Driver and Banana Lockseed.
"BANANA!"
Suddenly a Crack appears above her and the Banana Arms descend down on Kallen.
"Henshin…" Kallen said before locked her Lockseed in the Driver and using the Cutting Blade.
"COME ON! BANANA ARMS! KNIGHT OF SPEAR!"
Soon Kallen transformed into Kamen Rider Baron.
"Kallen… you're Kamen Rider Baron and a member of Black Knight?" Baron nodded.
"My real name is Kallen Kozuki and I'm Japanese. 'Kallen Stadfeld' is just a cover that I use." Baron started before looking at Zangetsu and Ryugen. "They're Kamen Rider Zangetsu and Kamen Rider Ryugen, veteran Kamen Riders before me. Zangetsu is the leader of the Black Knights and Kamen Riders." She explains.
Zangetsu walked up to Rai and examined him.
"Kallen told me much about you. We are grateful for the help the other day. I had Kallen observe you, you're quite impressive." Zangetsu said.
"Zangetsu, remembered what we discuss last time. I requested that Rai should join the Black Knights." Baron said. Zangetsu nodded.
"Yes, I and Ryugen were discussing that. You have our consent but the decision falls onto Rai's shoulder." Rai was thinking. "If you refuse, we'll respect your decision. But I only ask that you keep Kallen's cover a secret." Zangetsu said.
Baron turns to looks at Rai who seem to be pondering.
"I've been curious about your group for a while now, Zangetsu. I'll join the Black Knights." The answer seems to please Baron.
"Then welcome to the Black Knights, Rai." Baron said.
A few hours later at the Black Knights' hideout, Rai was trying to get to know everyone including Kallen's friends: Ohgi, Yoshida, Minami, Inoue, Kento, and Tamaki.
"Kallen told us about you and I wanted to meet you in person. We all do our part, I hope you can do yours." Ohgi said.
"I know Kallen says that she trusts you but that doesn't mean I do." Tamaki stated.
"Tamaki!"
"What? We don't know where this guy comes from and he doesn't know considering his amnesia. He could be a Britannia spy trained to kill us." Tamaki stated.
"No, he is Japanese! I'm sure of it." Kallen protest.
Rai sighed. "Look, I don't agree with how Britannia does things around here nor would I ever harm any civilian in my way. I agreed to fight you guys for some of those reasons. If there's anything I can do to earn your trust then let me know." Rai said.
Tamaki gestured Rai to follow him as they goes to a shooting gallery. Tamaki passed Rai a gun.
"I want to see how you do. Shoot those cans that I set up." Rai nodded and aimed his gun. Rai soon shot all eight cans in less than two minutes.
"Holy shit. How did you do that?" Tamaki exclaimed in shock.
"I honestly have no idea. I hope I earned a little of your trust." Rai said as he gave back the gun to Tamaki. This made Tamaki left and grumbled.
"What is up with him?" Rai asked to Kallen.
"Beats me." Kallen said.
"Nice shooting." Ryugen said as he approached the two.
"You're Ryugen…" Rai said.
"Rai, is it? How close are you with our Rookie here?" Ryugen asked.
"Kallen have been helping me out with my memories, I grateful toward her." Rai said. This made Kallen's face glow.
"Is that so?" Ryugen asked with a teasing grin.
Kallen glared at the green armor warrior. "Ryugen… you-" Kallen growl before she and others hear Zangetsu approaching them.
"It nearly time for our mission, Kallen." Zangetsu said.
"You mean the one after Refrain?" Kallen asked. This made Rai blinks curious.
"What is Refrain?" Rai asked.
"Refrain is a psychotic drug that twists your senses into believing you've gone to the past." Zangetsu said.
"It heavily used among Elevens here and we're hunting Riders who helping them." Ryugen said.
"Other Riders…? You mean those two you were fighting before?" Rai asked. Zangetsu and Ryugen nodded.
"Yes, we also planned on destroying the Refrain dealership. We only have one Knightmare with us. We had a few others, but they're in repairs. So right now, we will have to rely on our skills here." The white Rider explains.
"I understand. I won't let anyone down." Rai said.
(Nighttime)
There were five men with guns watching for anything suspicious before a pair of hands grabbed one's shoulder and kicked him as this made them see Ryugen and Rai who wears a black knight visor and black knight uniform.
"It's-" But Rai went on ahead and grabbed another armed man's gun before shooting at other's feet. He then start hitting another in the head with the gun and doing the same with others.
Another try to flee before getting hit in the ball by Ryugen's leg and knocked him unconscious. Ryugen looks at Rai.
"That some skills." Ryugen said.
Rai nodded. "It was just instinct."
Ryugen then activated his communicator device in his helmet. "Zangetsu, we taken down the guards on our end." He said.
"Alright. We start breaking in." Zangetsu said.
(Next day)
During class, Lelouch, Kallen, and Rai were trying to resist falling asleep during class. It wasn't long until Kallen just got up.
"The Black Knights!" She screamed and everyone just laughed at her.
After the classes ended, Kallen was talking to others.
"You really shouldn't doze off like that." Shirley warned.
"Well… I…" Kallen sputtered.
"You could learn from Lelouch, he is a expert when it comes to sleeping in class." Rivalz said as he pointed out Lelouch who was sitting at his desk.
This causes Kallen to sweatdropped at the supposed leader of Black Knight. "He's sleeping now?" she asked.
"Don't know, I am not even sure what he does at night but whatever it is, it making him sleep through half of his schedule." Rivalz said. But he is the only one knows about Lelouch going out to fight as Zangetsu.
Rai soon walked up to Lelouch to see if he was sleeping or not.
"Hey Rai." Lelouch greeted. This made Rai stepped back from surprised. "Just to be clear, I don't fall asleep all the time."
"Yeah, I-I was just checking on you." Rai said.
"I see. So Rai, you and Kallen seemed just as out of it as I am." Lelouch observed.
"Well, we did have plans." Rai answered.
"I see… So what do you think of Area 11 so far?" Lelouch asked.
"I really don't know what to say. For Britannians, it's practically an everyday home but to Ele-Japanese, it's a slave pen. Personally, I don't agree with the current status of the Japanese and hope that one day they can regain their former status." Rai said.
"I see… Thanks, I really need an opinion on this." Lelouch said.
Before he could do anything else, Kallen approached them.
"Hey Lelouch, can I talk with Rai for a bit?" Kallen asked.
"No problem, he is all yours." Kallen nodded and led Rai to the roof.
Kallen lead Rai to the roof top and close the door.
"So what's up, Kallen?" Rai asked.
"I just got word of the next operation. Tomorrow night, we'll meet at the mobile base." Rai nodded and noticed Kallen holding a box.
"What is that?"
"Remember our talk from last time? I want to see if you can eat this with chopsticks." Kallen explained as she gave the box to Rai.
"Ok." Rai said.
Unknown to them, Lelouch overhearing the conversation from behind the door and left quiet. "It seem that Rai could be half Japanese." Club said.
"Yeah… I don't have anything to worried about it bite back at me." Lelouch said in agreement.
Suddenly he came across Rivalz who looks out of breath.
"Lelouch, I find you." Rivalz said.
"What is wrong, Rivalz?" Lelouch asked curious.
"Just follow me." Rivalz said as he leaded Lelouch outside of the school building and they came across a large garbage can.
This made Lelouch looks really confused. "Rivalz-" But Rivalz showed a sign telling him to remain very quiet as they got close to the garbage can.
Rivalz suddenly opens the can slowly, revealing a sleeping Komori Inves.
Lelouch's eyes wide in shocked before Rivalz closed it quiet.
"How long has it been in there?" Lelouch whisper.
"I have no clue… I was going to throw some junks away." Rivalz whispered back. "Any ideas?" he asked to his friend.
"Rivalz, keep an eye out for anyone coming." Lelouch said.
Rivalz nodded as he and Lelouch walk away from the garbage can before Lelouch places his Sengoku Driver on and getting out his Melon Lockseed.
"MELON!"
"SOIYA! MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"
Lelouch transformed into Zangetsu as he and Rivalz approached the big garbage can. "Ready?" He whispered. Rivalz nodded nervously as Zangetsu got out his Musou Saber. "On the count of three you open it, I jump in with you closing the lid and kill it." The white rider instructed.
Rivalz gulped as he reach for the lid and wait for the count down.
"1…2…3!" Rivalz quickly opened it as Zangetsu jumped in with Rivalz close the lid and got on top, making sure the Inves won't escaped.
Rivalz just whistled as he felt the rumbling in the garbage can and continued looking around for anyone suspicious. He hears some banging here and there and the bestial cry of the Inves until the thrashing stopped and the sound went silent.
Rivalz hears the tap. "Is everything okay, buddy?" Rivalz asked.
He soon got off as Zangetsu got out as he removed a trash bag off of his chest. "How was it?" Rivalz asked.
"The Inves know how to fight dirty in a garbage can." Zangetsu said in a mocking tone as he removed his Lockseed reverting to civilian form. Lelouch looks around making sure no one else is around. "It looks like the coast is clear." He said.
"Now let's head back inside." Rivalz said as the two walked inside the school.
(A warehouse)
Zangetsu, Ryugen, and Baron were leading their fellow Black Knights into the warehouse which supposed to be storage for Refrains.
But Rai noticed Baron seem to be quiet lately and asks, "Kallen, is there something wrong?" he asked.
"I'm fine, Rai." Baron said. But Rai knew something was wrong, however, he refused to pry.
They soon arrives at the garage door, Zangetsu nodded and everyone started firing at the garage door. Baron charges in and started striking down the drug dealers. Tamaki stood in the center of the opening firing from the hip.
"The Black Knights have arrived!" He announced before the fights began.
"HAI~! BUDOU AU LAIT!"
Ryugen pulled the hammer of his Budou Ryuhou and took aim as the gems on its body released grape energy projections and two golden dragons coiled on its barrel. The grapes and the dragons projections pooled into a large purple sphere on the size of a basketball at the end of the gun's barrel. Ryugen pulled the trigger and the energy sphere separated into two purple energy dragons. The armed men watched the dragons fearfully as they went right after them and wiped them out. Ohgi and others look shocked at the terrified display of power.
'He is a professional with training. I can't believe he and Zangetsu are old pals…' Ohgi thought.
"I won't be surprised to see him taken out a Knightframe." Kento said.
Baron continued ran through the closing door. She soon stop and see dozens of Japanese in hallucinations. She gripped her Banaspear sadly. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was happening. This was the result of the drug they were eradicating tonight.
"Kallen, don't run across the road!"
Her breath caught in her throat as she spotted a familiar figure. Walking past her was her mother.
Why is she doing here? Baron thought.
"KURUMI SQUASH!"
Zangetsu turns and pushed Ohgi out of the way as he blocks an incoming attack from Knuckle's Kurumi Bomber with his Melon Defender.
"Knuckle, so you and your brother decide to get in the way of eradication the Refrains…" Zangetsu growl cold.
Knuckle soon jumps back from a slash from Zangetsu and glare at him and the Black Knights.
"You won't get away this time, Zangetsu." Knuckle said before taking out a Suika Lockseed.
"SUIKA!"
"Oh shit…" Tamaki muttered.
Suddenly a large Crack appears above Knuckle and a Suika Arms descend down on Knuckle before his Kurumi Arms disappear as Knuckle locked the Lockseed and uses his Cutting Blade.
"SUIKA ARMS! ODAMA BIG BANG!"
Knuckle soon jumps into the Suika Arms before morph into a mecha suit. His Suika Arms soon materialized two watermelon energy like gloves before he try to punch Zangetsu who dodged the incoming punch which destroyed the wall.
"I won't let you get away!" Knuckle growl before unleashing another energy like punch at Zangetsu and cause an explosion occurs in the warehouse.
"Zangetsu!" Ohgi and other Black Knight members looked shocked at their leader being killed before they heard a sound.
"SOIYA! SUIKA ARMS! ODAMA BIG BANG!"
Emerging from the dust is Zangetsu in his own Suika Arms before he charges directly at Knuckle as the two Riders clashed with each other while the rest of Black Knights watching the two titans clashed.
Ryugen is about to help his fellow Rider when he got struck in the chest by a Suika like spear before get sent flying backward. He looks up to see Kurokage in his Suika Arms as he gritting his teeths.
"I should expected something like this happened." Ryugen said.
"This is where you're about to end." Kurokage said, moving his Suika Arms ready.
Ryugen suddenly turns and start running down the hallway while Kurokage continued with his onward attacks with his Suika Spear.
It wasn't until one of the attacks cause Ryugen to stumble onward to the ground and rolled across the ground. Before Kurokage could have a chance to finish him, he got stuck by large shurikens from out of thin air.
"Who did that!?" Kurokage exclaimed.
"Those weapons…" Ryugen said.
"It looks like you need a hand, Ryugen." A familiar voice said as Shadow appears beside Ryugen.
"Another one!" Kurokage exclaimed with surprised.
"Sayoko… what are you doing here?" Ryugen asked.
"I am just passing through," Shadow said before looking at Kurokage. "Can you still fight?" Ryugen nodded.
"I need you to keep him busy, I got something that could take out that guy." Ryugen said before getting out a new Lockseed with blackberry symbol on it.
"KUROI!"
Suddenly a large crack opens above Ryugen and reveal a large blackberry. Unlocking his Budou Lockseed, he placed the new Lockseed in it's places and locked it in.
"LOCK ON!"
Ryugen then hit the Cutting Blade and slice the Lockseed open. The Kuroi Lockseed opened to reveal a black inside with the bottom half depicting a large sniper rifle.
"HAI~! KUROI ARMS! MARKS NO AKUMA!"
The Kuroi Arms come down on Ryugen with a splash of energy before disassembling itself. The top and side parts split into and lowered themselves to be Ryugen's new shoulder armor with rough texture similar to that of a blackberry's. The front parts folded in half and became his chest piece with blue glowing marks appears on his armor while the back parts folded and gray out. His helmet attachment now had the same colors along with black horn on both side. His visor lit up in dark blue color as a large sniper rifle with blueberry-like barrel appears in his hands- the Arms weapon of this form, the Kurovolvers.
Ryugen goes to his knee before looking through the scope of Kurovolvers and focused intense on Kurokage who is busy with Shadow.
"Like I will let you!" Kurokage shout before charging at them.
But Shadow soon charges forward in incredible speed as Kurokage trying to knock her away with his spear, she dodged his attacks as result craters form on the ground.
"Got you." Ryugen said before pulling the trigger. A powerful black blast shot from the barrel and hit the Suika Arms to caused explosive occur, making Kurokage looks alarm before he got send back.
"What the hell is that Arms!?" Kurokage exclaimed.
"It a favorite Arms of mine for hunting large targets." Ryugen response before firing another blast directly at Kurokage's Suika Arms again. "Like yourself." He added.
Kurokage brought out his weapon to block the next incoming strike until Ryugen pushed down the Cutting Blade of his Driver.
"HAI~! KUROI AU LAIT!"
A holographic target appeared on Kurokage and Ryugen's eyed glowed. The front of his rifle glowed as it charged up.
"Eat this!" Ryugen barked as he unleashed the shot. Dark energy gather at the end of the Kurovolvers before shoot a powerful blast, shooting an energy sphere that resembled a giant blackberry at the Suika mecha. The recoil causes Ryugen to skidding across the ground. The attack struck Kurokage and causing the Suika Arms to cracking up before blowing up immediately.
This cause Kurokage stumbled on the ground before falling into unconscious.
(With Zangetsu)
Zangetsu and Knuckle were continuing grapple with each other, trying to force a submission from their opponent.
"I can't tell who is who!" Tamaki exclaimed.
Both Zangetsu and Knuckle were separated. Knuckle with his energy boxing gloves and Zangetsu with his Suika Sojinto as the two clashed violently. The heavily armored warriors seemed evenly match. Knuckle punched Zangetsu in the chest but received a slash across his own chest. Sparks flew as they struck each other.
"Which one is Zangetsu?" Inoue asked.
"It's that one!" Ohgi pointed out. "He is using a sword!"
"Are you sure?"
Knuckle managed to shove Zangetsu back before prepared to knock him out of his armor when all of a sudden a Suika Defender appeared in Zangetsu's free hand to block the blow. Zangetsu then bashed the shield into Knuckle, sending him staggering.
"Ugh…" Knuckle groan before Zangetsu deliver multiple slashes on his Suika Arms as the boxing theme Rider was doing his best to block them. "Just who do you think you are!?"
"Kamen Rider Zangetsu, authorized by the Divine Providence." Zangetsu said.
Knuckle saw Zangetsu about to strike him down and he decide to switch tactics.
"GYRO MODE!"
Zangetsu missed the strike when Knuckle's Suika Arms turns into Gyro Mode and shot upwards to avoid the strike. He then fired on the Black Knights who try to get away, but Zangetsu jump in front of them and raised up his Suika Defender. But the barrage was relentless and before long he managed to riddle the shield with enough holes in it to make it useless. Zangetsu raised his arms to shield himself before he too switched modes.
"ODAMA MODE!"
He rolled his Suika Arms and then made it bounce to smash into Knuckle, forcefully returned it to Odama Mode. Both machines rolled around each other while trying to avoid each other's projectiles as well. They spun, rolled before Knuckle crashed right into Zangetsu before the two Suika Arms collided with each other.
The Black Knights coughed as the smoke coming up. The smoke cloud cleared, revealing Zangetsu in Melon Arms and Knuckle in Kurumi Arms once again before showing Knuckle is getting tired.
"Time to finish this…" Zangetsu said before reaching his hand to his Cutting Blade and pushed it down three times.
"SOIYA! MELON SPARKING!"
"I am not done yet!" Knuckle roared as he doing the same.
"KURUMI SPARKING!"
Zangetsu glowing in green aura while Knuckle glowing in brown aura as the two Rider charge at each other before going forward with a Rider Kick. Their kicks collided and the Black Knights took a deep breath before an explosion occurs.
It nearly blew them away. The smoke then slowly began to clear up, revealing Zangetsu standing with his one of his horns have a crack and his armor have crack while the unarmored mercenary on the ground. The white Rider walk toward him as he spotted the Sengoku Driver on his waist. He takes Knuckle's Driver off of him and the Kurumi Lockseed. Despite the user of Knuckle still alive, Zangetsu noticed something odd about Knuckle's Driver and hope to get some research on it before entrusted to someone. "It's already over for you and your brother." He said.
He slowly looked at him before became unconscious as Ohgi approach him. "Are you alright?" he asked.
"I'm fine. He is quite a difficult opponent." Zangetsu admit.
"What do we do about him?" Ohgi asked.
"We need some information from him."
(With Baron)
Baron caught her mother in her hand when she tripped. Her mother stayed oblivious in front of Baron.
"Naoto, please try to pay more attention to your sister. She's the only sibling you have."
Behind her helmet, Baron shook her head in disbelief.
"You're so weak, first Britannia, then on men, and now on drugs! My brother isn't here anymore! Why are you even…"
Baron never finished as the sound of gunshots got her attention. Glancing to her right as she instinct take her mother to shielded her from the attack. Baron winced in pain from the attack despite her armor protected her and her mother.
"The Night Police? Here?!" Baron charges forward with her Banaspear in her right hand. Soon Rai and the rest of Black Knights rushed to the broken warehouse door at the sound of gunfire.
"The police? Were they bought out by Michaels?"
Zangetsu and Ryugen cursed their lucks.
"Tamaki, did you?" Ohgi demand.
"What are you talking about? I don't know a thing! I didn't see anything like this when I investigated this place." Tamaki countered.
We need a better reliable scout… Zangetsu and Ryugen thought in unions.
"Kallen…" Rai can't help feeling worry for his friend out there before noticed something, "Kallen is protecting someone…" he said.
Baron is currently using her Banaspear to blocking the incoming bullets before realizing her mother is still behind her and growl under her breath.
Why am I protecting her? Baron thought angrily.
"So why?" She turns down a different section of the warehouse, she screamed. "I don't want her!"
Soon bullets struck her and sending her flying across the warehouse. Baron instinct braced for impact, narrowly missing landing on her mother. She keep hear her mumble her brother's name and hers. Growling in frustration, Baron cringed when the bullets continued attack her.
Without thinking, Rai ran forward and picked up the woman in bridal fashion. He and the Black Knights knew she was only reliving the past and looking at memories.
"I'm here for you. I will always be here for you Kallen. Always." Rai stood silently, looked slight surprised at the woman in his arms and to Baron.
T-This woman, could she be Kallen's mother? Rai thought.
Baron looked on shocked. Memories of her mother working around the manor and looking at her fondly, not teasing or annoyed like she had thought ran through her mind. Beginning to realize just what her mother had truly been doing, she slowly got up and pushed down the Cutting Blade.
"COME ON! BANANA SQUASH!"
Baron got her Banaspear as it glowing with energy as she swings her weapon at the Police Knightframe to send it flying backward. She turns to see Rai holding her mother carefully, Rai looks at her and nodded once. It was only message she needed as he turned to run out of the danger area.

"I will… be stronger." Baron said before taking out her Mango Lockseed.
"MANGO!"
The Crack opened and the Mango Arms descended above her.
"A Mango?" Rai asked in surprised.
Quickly switching Lockseed, Baron pushed down the Cutting Blade to perform her Arms Change.
"LOCK ON! COME ON! MANGO ARMS! FIGHT OF HAMMER!"
The Mango Arms split open, the outside skin folding onto the back and looking like a cape or cloak of some sort. The rest of the Arms came down onto Baron's head. The shoulder pieces folded down, proving to be flat and crimson with yellow cube productions split into the squares mangos were usually cut into for serving. The chest plate also folded being red and imitating a male pectorals with a yellow cubed abdomen. Her helmet was revealed, the new attachment being red with yellow horns that curved downward, cubed like served mango. Her visor had turned a deeper shade of yellow, but appeared to be cubed like served mango. A flash and in her hand appeared a mace with a top styled after cubed mango assembled in the head of the hammer with jagged edges, otherwise known as the Mango Punisher.
She approached the Knightframe while dragging her Mango Punisher.
"Wow…" Inoue said.
"Kallen has abs now…" Tamaki said before Ohgi whacked him in the head.
"Shut up!" Ohgi exclaimed.
The Police Knightframe try to fire at Baron, but Baron brought up her Mango Punisher to shield herself from the incoming bullets while charging at the Knightframe. She soon smashed it against the leg of Knightframe to make it stumbled backward and striking it down again.
"It ends here." Baron said before pushing the knife on her Driver twice.
"COME ON! MANGO AU LAIT!"
Baron started twirling her mace as the energy mango dices surrounded the Mango Punisher's spiked end, charging it up with energy mango. As she swung the mace rapidly, it left a trail in the form of mango dices. As she kept swing the mace, her speed increases and is still increasing making it looks like a mango themed twister.
Baron then throws the energy mango from her mace at the Knightframe, entrapping it's cockpit in mango and cause the entire Knightframe to exploded.

The Black Knights rush to her, Baron looked to the side to see Rai setting her mother down against a shipping crate next to Zangetsu. She could see Zangetsu slightly turns toward the woman. Baron then noticed a very worried Ohgi first approached her.
"Kallen! Kallen, are you okay?" Ohgi asked.
"Yes, I'm alright."
Baron didn't answer anyone else as she sprinted forward after undoing her transformation. Ryugen and Rai made way for her. Crouching in front of her, Kallen hugged her mom on the verge of tears.
"I'm sorry, Kaa-san…" Kallen apologized quiet.
Both Ryugen and Zangetsu were have their own conversation while others pay attention toward Kallen and her mother.
"So, this is her mother…" Zangetsu muttered.
"I believe so. Too bad I never get to meet mine." Ryugen said sadly. He never know his mother since she was killed by his supposed Uncle.
Zangetsu nodded. "Kallen is lucky. Her mother still alive."
(Three days later)
"Miss Stadfeld, I'm afraid your mother might not speak too well. It's an after effect of the refrain. She'll regain her ability to speak, but it may take a while." The nurse said.
Kallen nodded as the nurse left her alone with her mother.
"Kaa-san, the judge has made his decision. They say it'll be twenty years." Kallen began to lose her composure. "Just wait Kaa-san, I'll be sure to change the world, save it and get you out. I promise." The girl started when a gentle hand clasped hers.
"Do your best. Do your best Kallen… my daughter." Tears came to her eyes and fell as she gripped her mother's hand in hers.
"I will do my best. Just you wait… I swear I will." Kallen said.
With my power, me and my comrades will destroy Britannia for good… Baron user thought.
