Code Geass: Lelouch of Divine Providence
Ch9: The Reunion of two childhood friends
Off the coast of Area 11 was a large ship. It looks like a ship that carries goods like foods, spices and merchandise from another country.
But on this particular ship was someone smuggling herself back into the country never thought to set foots on again.
Looking out at the ocean at her home country of Japan, she had left so many years ago standing behind the railing near the bow of the ship. She was a young woman who appeared to be in her late teens around ages of sixteen and seventeen. She had short black hair with russet-brown eyes with pale skin complexion. She wore a pair of black short-shorts with a pink leather belt around her waist, but tied to the back of the loose belt was a Wakizashi. The rest of her attire consisted of a pair of white belted boots, a while-sleeveless shirt with a hooded over her head outlined with fur and a zip-up collar and a white jacket with gray lining on it.
Ayano Kosaka was seeing her homeland for the first time in seven years after fleeing the country before Britannia invaded it with her grandfather who feared that Japan didn't have the man power or advance weaponry to stand against Britannia. However, the times in E.U. wasn't quite pleasing for her and many Japanese flee along with the decline health of her grandfather. But she meet two friends who become close thing to her as they set out to find a nation for themselves.
Ayano have a nostalgic feeling in her stomach while she looks at the once proud home country of hers. There were many memories occur along with memory of a certain raven hair boy.
"Lelouch…" Ayano muttered.
Ayano can't help wonder about what happens to the raven hair boy who helps her getting away from the thugs who try to steal her Wakizashi. Did he and his sister make out alright when Britannia invaded Japan? Or… they would kill along with so many people in the invasion.
"Ayano, get out of here!"
"We will hold them off!"
"Ryo! Yukiya! But I-"
"You have your grandfather to worry about!"
Ayano shook her head from the bad memory of that day. If she only just stay with her friends, then they won't have lost their lives like her grandfather.
Without her friends or her grandfather, Ayano couldn't see any more reasons of staying in the E.U. Using some money she made selling some stolen goods, the young woman bought her way back to China was now about to return to her birth country after seven years away.
"We're finally home, grandfather." Ayano said with a calm and composed expression on her face. Her next step would be to give her grandfather's ashes a proper burial or least scatter them in a place he would wanted them scattered.
And I hope that I can find the Black Knights… Ayano thought.
Like many people in the E.U., she is amazed by the mystery group lead by the white armored samurai known as Kamen Rider Zangetsu. But Ayano can't help feeling something about Zangetsu even since she saw him on new from the television.
Like I knew you from before… Ayano thought.
(Cue X.U by Sawano Hiroyuki)
(Instrumental) The screen opens up to show Lelouch and Zangetsu back-to-back as light covered the screen before changing to show Kallen, Suzaku, Orpheus, Rai, Euphemia and Nunnally before the screen was covered with vines and purple fruits.
(I don't want nobody to get killed) Lelouch was sitting on his Lancelot Club with his hands supporting his chin as rain heavily cascaded around him
(I'll come and get, I am always ready to fight) The screen changed to show Zangetsu sinking into a lake while another screen shows Ayano with a hand over her chest.
(Instrumental) Lockseeds appeared before they were seen scattering across the world.
(So don't take all of the blame) The scene showed the Black Knights in their headquarters.
(We're all as bad) The Britannian Military came into focus.
(Ah wait, don't take all of it away) Now different factions from across Earth flashed by.
(You always do) Armored figures showed up in the darkness, the only lights being their visors.
(We'll always be something you cannot control) In the shadows, a flame-shaped head was flanked by two Riders with unique bows.
(We will overcome – Your salvation has begun) Deep in the forest of Helheim, a white creature wielding a Zanbato was leading an army of Inves.
(No suns, no lights) Lelouch was looking to the side before changing to Ayano doing the same thing.
(Such a mess all over) The screen changed to show Lelouch and Ayano holding their hands out to each other.
(Don't kill your hopes) Now CC was standing on an embedded Musou Saber as wind blew through her hair and clothes.
(You make me realize who I need) The screen changes to show Lelouch looking up with a determined glare before he is encased in his Zangetsu armor.
(I'll be there, hold on) Zangetsu charged forward slashing the Shika Inves with his sword
(But it changes somehow) Ryugen fired at Inves and Britannian soldiers alike.
(So where are you now) Zangetsu and Ryugen jumped into the air and performed their Rider Kicks.
(I'll reach you, my darling) Baron pierced an Inves with the Banaspear before cutting two more in half.
(The shadows of the earth) Gaim slashed an Inves with his dual blades before combining both in a wide, area-clearing sweep.
(Illusions so bright) Baron and Gaim charged into a mixed army of Britannia soldiers and Inves.
(They're falling just to run – let them know-) Now the Riders watched as both the Black Knights and Britannia launched all-out Knightmare Frame attacks
(When it's the pain that makes us so human after all) Leila was watching the battle as the rest of her force joins in the battle.
(Toward city, a border patrol) Lelouch kept walking alone in the city, strange plants growing behind his trail.
(1000 precious words, just to start with a spark) The camera turned to Zangetsu and others helping each other fighting the Inves before Zangetsu charged forward and clashed with the white figure swords-first, sparks blinding the screen for a bit.
(To the core) Soon Zangetsu, Baron, Ryugen, and Gaim appeared as the title page appeared.
(In Shinjuku)
Civilians were running away from the sights of incoming Elementary Inves as the bestial creatures were in pursing of them…
"Henshin!"
"COME ON! BANANA ARMS! KNIGHT OF SPEAR!"
"KURUMI ARMS! MISTER KNUCKLEMAN!"
Jumping down from buildings were Baron and Knuckle as they intercept the Inves in their path from the civilian.
"Let's do this." Baron said. Knuckle nodded.
Baron charge forward as she slashes the Inves with her Banaspear, cause the Inves to flung backward. When an Inves about to attack her from behind, Baron grabbed another Inves and used it to take the blast for her.
"Take this!" Baron said before using her Cutting Blade once.
"COME ON! BANANA SQUASH!"
With her Banaspear glowing, Baron stabbed the Inves before swing her Banaspear to take out more Inves coming after her.
Knuckle deal fast blows at Elementary Inves with his Kurumi Bombers as he deliver one into the air before performing a sky uppercut causing the Inves to blow before going after the next Elementary Inves.
It wasn't until a Seiryu Inves appear and attacks Baron with its fists. Baron try to attack the Inves with her Banaspear, but the Inves blocking her attacks with its hard armor.
"This armor…" Baron remarked before she got send rolling across the ground.
"Kallen!" Knuckle shout before going after the Seiryu Inves and striking the Seiryu Inves with his Kurumi Bombers.
Even the Kurumi Bombers doesn't affect the Seiryu Inves before the Inves send him flying backward. Baron return to the battle with the Seiryu Inves before getting kicked back.
"Gotta!" Knuckle said before trying to catch the Inves from behind. The Inves response with pouncing on the head and causes Knuckle to rolling to Baron's side.
But Knuckle got himself back up easily before looking at the Seiryu Inves, "…I am not done yet!" he exclaimed before he and Baron charged at the Inves again.
Knuckle pushing down his hand on the Cutting Blade.
"KURUMI SPARKING!"
"COME ON! BANANA SPARKING!"
Knuckle rotated his arms and then shot both his giant gauntlets like missiles, hitting the Inves before Baron joins with yellow energy spikes to hit the Inves making it staggering backward. When his Kurumi Bombers return to him, Knuckle charge forward again and strikes the Inves in the chest to send it flying backward.
"Let's finished this." Baron said.
Knuckle soon uses his Cutting Blade again and pushed it down twice.
"KURUMI AU LAIT!"
Baron charges forward and her Banaspear glow as she stabbed the Inves in the chest. Knuckle cover in a walnut like aura before jumps in and punch the Inves with all his might.
"SEE-YAH!" Knuckle shout before the Inves blown up into bits.
The two Riders look around for anymore Inves before sighting with relief.
"How do you feel for your first time?" Baron asked.
"I'm still adjusting to it." Knuckle answered.
The two Riders soon goes to an alley before undoing their transformation as they revert back to their civilian forms. Kallen looks at the person who stood in Knuckle's place- Ohgi Kaname.
How did Ohgi become the next Knuckle, you asks? Kallen have a meeting with both Zangetsu and Ryugen about who fitting for Knuckle after dispose of previous one. She believes Ohgi is worthy of becoming a new Rider to expand their force against Britannia and Inves.
Hopefully, Lelouch would trust him with his identity soon… Kallen thought to herself. Ohgi trust her brother Naoto and her regardless of their half Britannia heritage.
"I still find it hard to believe you easily convinced him…" Ohgi said, nervous.
"What was that?" Kallen asked with a dark look. This cause Ohgi to shuddered.
"N-Nothing. It's nothing." Ohgi protested.
"Also be sure to practice with your power since there is an upcoming trial for you." Kallen said.
Ohgi looks a little nervous. "You mean going into that forest you vent through?" Kallen nodded.
"Don't be a chicken, Ohgi. Or you really want to disappoint Nii-san in the afterlife if he see you like this." Kallen warned.
A raven hair boy is looking around the house belong to one of his closet friend.
"Ayano! Where are you!?" 10 year old Lelouch shout, looking frankly around the place.
But no matter where he search, he couldn't find her anywhere. It wasn't until he meet up with Suzaku and Nunnally at another hallway.
"Did you find her?" Lelouch asked.
"Lelouch… I look around and I don't see her or her family anywhere on the street." 10 year old Suzaku said with sorrow tone.
"Sorry brother…" Nunnally apologized quiet.
Lelouch have a down look on his face as he clenched his fist tightly. 'I-It can't be… did Britannia take away another important person to me?' Lelouch thought to himself.
"Where do we go now, brother?" Nunnally asked.
"We… We can't stay here for too long. We have to move eventually." Lelouch said with calm tone. He wasn't ready to show his angry at Britannia for what they take from him again.
(Reality)
Lelouch wakes up from his bed with cold sweat runs down his neck before looking down at the palm of his hand.
"Why…?" Lelouch asked to himself quiet. "Why did I have that dream again?" he asked.
He soon got himself up from his bed and went to the bathroom as he starts changing his clothes to his school uniform. He soon walks out to the hallway and saw C.C. eating pizza by herself. CC looked at Lelouch with a weird expression.
"What? You never saw a girl eat before?"
"Too much, I think. Remind me, why am I letting you use my credit card for this?" Lelouch asked. He still finds it annoyed that C.C. won't tell him about what she know despite understanding her a little.
"What? I need some type of reward for helping you."
"Yeah, but I don't see why you're using my credit card." Lelouch retorted.
"Ok, I'll go out in the open then to get it. I think there's a Pizza Hut near a police station." C.C. said before got up. But Lelouch pushed her back down to her seat.
"Alright! Alright, I see but can you at least cut back, I'm not swimming in wealth. Hell, this whole setup took years to get ready." Lelouch said.
"I make no promises." C.C. said. "Though I am surprised you let Banana girl entrust that Driver to another person in the group, is that wise?"
"I have no saying in that matter. But if it get some work done, then I would considered it." Lelouch said. He and Kallen seem to get along a bit better, but he finds it somewhat scared when it comes to Kallen use her power in ways he or Orpheus never considered.
After the downfall of Armored Brothers, Orpheus left the Black Knights for a while due to information he and Lelouch got from them through Geass.
"Ok, anyway, shouldn't you go to class now, Melon Boy?" C.C. asked.
Lelouch complied before leaving for the door before he got out a black crow and insert a Donguri Lockseed into its slot while C.C. wasn't looking. The black mechanical familiar soon went to a safe place.
What are you hiding? Lelouch thought to himself. He and Orpheus are a bit concern about what she is hiding due to what Sayoko told them in secret.
(In Ashford Academy)
Rai is currently sitting in his seat at his desk. It's been a few days since the eradication on the Refrain, he getting along with Kallen and other Black Knights especially knowing Kallen a bit more.
Will I become stronger like Kallen and others? The silver hair teen thought to himself. Rai doesn't want to hold Kallen back after seeing her real strength as a Rider.
"Morning Rai," Rai turns around to see Kallen.
"Hey Kallen," Rai greeted. "How are you?"
"I am good, though I ran a bit due to meeting with a friend of ours." Kallen answered.
"I see…" Rai muttered before notices Lelouch coming into class. "Hey Lelouch."
"Morning Rai," Lelouch said before walking passed them. But Rai could swear something bother Lelouch with how he greeted people.
"Is something up with Lelouch?" Rai asked to Kallen.
"I don't know." Kallen said with similar confusing tone.
It wasn't until the teacher came to the class room before starting lecture as everyone focused their attention toward the front board.
Ayano places a brown cloak on herself to cover her face to prevent any discrimination from Britannia after sneaking off the trading ship and explore around the city of her birth country. She only see many Britannian walking happily across the streets as this made Ayano look sick of them.
"Disgusted Britannians…" Ayano muttered.
Her attention soon focused on a Britannian man threating an elderly Japanese woman with a gun, "Hand over all your money!" The man exclaimed.
Ayano scowl at the scene as this reminded her of what life is like back in E.U. and approach the man from behind.
"What do you think you are doing!?" Ayano demands.
"None of your business, bit-" Before the man could finished, a very pissed and angry Ayano kicks him in the place where sun never shines.
This cause the man to groan in pain before Ayano takes the gun from the man before beating him up easily. The Britannian man gritting his teeths and got out a knife next before launching at her.
This made Ayano smirk before dodging the swing and caught the man's arm as she twisted it behind the man's back.
"Are you going to leave this woman quiet or you want more…?" Ayano said in a threating tone.
"You won't forget this!" The Britannia man said before running away from them.
Ayano turns and looks at the elderly woman before she helps her back up.
"Are you alright?" She asked kindly.
"Thank you… but you should ran since he might come back." the elderly woman said. This causes Ayano to scoff.
"Like I am not scare of him even if he has friends," Ayano said.
"The only people been standing up for us are the Black Knights." The elder woman said before leaving.
"Yeah… I know. I wished there more people like them." Ayano said in agreement.
(Mall)
Lelouch and Rivalz were hanging out in the mall after they came out from a challenge from Britannian noble who Rivalz hear from his work.
Rivalz returns with two drink as he give one to Lelouch and himself. The two friends were calmly drinking on the bench before Rivalz spoke up.
"So Lelouch… what is bothering you?" Rivalz asked.
"I'm okay… Rivalz." Lelouch said. "Just have some trouble sleeping. That is all."
"Oh… but you know you can tell me what troubling you." Rivalz said. Lelouch been the one who always listened to his problems.
"Thanks…" Lelouch said with a small smile. "Anything interesting happened lately?" he asked.
Rivalz tell him about what occurs at work as the two boys chuckled before they heard screams nearby as the two boys spotted Inves were running rampage across the mall.
"Oh boy…" Rivalz muttered. "Not again."
"Rivalz, I need you to help make sure people get out of harm. I will meet up with you later." Lelouch said. Rivalz nodded as Lelouch soon left immediately.
Lelouch ran passed the crowd of people were running away before he accident bumped into a hooded figure and unknown cause the figure to lose her hooded to revealed her face. "Watch, where you-" Lelouch's violet eyes wide in shocked to see the face of someone who thought to be gone. The face of a person who he thought die. "It can't be…" he muttered.
Ayano have a similar reaction when she saw familiar violet eyes of certain boy she knew in the place. "Le-Le-Lelouch? But how?" Ayano asked.
"Ayano…" Lelouch and Ayano stare at each other for moment before Lelouch saw an Inves about to attack her. Lelouch grabbed Ayano's hand which cause the black hair girl to blush and the two make a run for a nearby alley.
"You will be safe here… Ayano." Lelouch said before loose his grip on her hand. "I will be right back." he said.
"What!? Are you crazy!? Those monsters are still out there." Ayano protested. But most of all, she just reunited with her childhood friend.
"We will catch up later." Lelouch said before running out of the alley.
"Wait, Lelouch!" Ayano shout before watching her childhood friend ran out.
Ayano just clenched her fist. She wasn't going to be helpless and just watch a friend's death. Not again. She ran out of cover before hearing...
"Henshin!"
"MELON!"
Suddenly she saw a metallic melon and noticed it above Lelouch's head.
"SOIYA!"
The melon lands on Lelouch's shoulders before morphed him into his white suit as the Melon Arms becomes armor as Zangetsu.
"MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"
The sphere unfolded into armor and Zangetsu received his shield.
"L-Lelouch!?"
Zangetsu turned to see a flabbergasted Ayano.
"I will explain later. Get yourself to safety." Zangetsu said before charging at the Inves as he slashing them down.
Ayano can't help feeling shock as she watches Zangetsu's fighting style.
Ayano nodded before hiding while watching Zangetsu's fighting style. "Lelouch...what happened to you?" she asked.
Zangetsu then throws his Melon Defender as he destroyed several Inves in his path.
"Time to change Arms…" Zangetsu muttered before getting out a Lockseed with a pineapple on it.
"PINE!"
Suddenly a zipper portal opens above Zangetsu and a metallic pineapple appears above him.
"A pineapple?" Ayano asked.
Zangetsu then attached the Pineapple Lockseed to his Driver and locked it in.
"LOCK ON!"
He then used the sword shaped lever and sliced the lock. The inside top half looked like the inside of a pineapple while the bottom half held a morning star shaped looked like pineapple.
"SOIYA!"
The Pine Arms then dropped on his head and configured itself to form his new armor.
"PINE ARMS! FUNSAI DESTROY!"
The pineapple lowered down and covered Zangetsu's head before snapping apart. The front folded together to form a chest plate with black sides and square metal studs which were pointed and thick. The sides folded over his shoulder, become long and thick armor which covered his arms down to his wrists. The back section likewise folded down into thick protective studded steel. Zangetsu's helmet even changed, the helmet section being samurai-style with thick yellow square studs with green decoration near the crown. The visor had also changed color, turning yellow and looking like a pineapple slice. Gripped in his hand was a black handle which was connected to a morning star-like head which was shaped like a pineapple, made from heavy and spiked steel. This was Kamen Rider Zangetsu Pine Arms.
When the Inves about to attack Zangetsu, he swings the Pine Iron and smash the Inves in their heads to send them stumbling back. He then swing again to destroy three Elementary Inves in the process.
Zangetsu then attached the Pine Iron to his Musou Saber and swing at the Inves that charges at him. When there were only few Inves left, Zangetsu twirled the Pine Iron before throwing it. It flew to the remaining numbers of Inves, restraining them.
"Time to finish this." Zangetsu said then sliced his Lockseed.
"SOIYA! PINE AU LAIT!"
Zangetsu charged forward with his Musou Saber and slashed the Inves multiply time as he did, energy pineapple slices were being emitted. Soon the Inves fell down and exploded.
The white armor Rider resheathed his Musou Saber back to his side and sighed.
"Lelouch, what the hell!?" Ayano questioned, coming toward him.
"Umm… Hey Ayano," Zangetsu greeted nervously as he able to turn and leave. But Ayano stood in his way with an upset and angry expression. "You aren't going anywhere!" she stated.
Even with his armor, Zangetsu can't help feeling extremely threaten and nervous despite all the battles he gone through. I shouldn't feel like this… Zangetsu thought to himself.
"So you are the one who started the Rebellion?" Zangetsu nodded before reverting back to Lelouch.
"Ayano, it's not safe here. But let talk at your old house." This made Ayano's eyes wide.
"Wait... my house still around?" Lelouch nodded.
"It hasn't been destroyed." He answered.
(Kosaka resident)
Ayano couldn't believe her own eyes to see the place she grown up still standing.
"It's fortunately that they didn't destroyed it." Lelouch said.
Ayano walked in before taking out an urn.
"Hey Grandpa...we're home..." Ayano said before crying.
Lelouch noticed and hugged her. "I am sorry about your loss... Ayano." Lelouch said.
"I-It's alright." Ayano said before pulling out the wakizashi. "Remember this?"
Lelouch smiled. "How can I not? It belongs to your family." he answered with a smile.
"And you helped me get away from those bandits." Ayano recalled.
"Good times, but where were you?" Lelouch asked as they looked at each other.
"That's...complicated."
"You can tell me."
"When the invasion happened, I and my grandfather flee to the E.U. with others..." Ayano said as this made Lelouch looks surprised.
"I see..." Lelouch said. "I thought you were killed when the invasion happened when I went looking for you." he revealed with hint of sadness.
This made Ayano looks shock and sad, "I am sorry... I didn't-" Lelouch shook his head.
"No, I shouldn't have made such assumptions." Lelouch then chuckled.
"What?"
"I should've known you were too stubborn to die. How were things in the EU?"
"It wasn't nice to those who aren't non-citizens especially the place made grandfather sick." Ayano said.
This made Lelouch's eyes narrow. "I don't know who is worse." he said. He hears from Akito about the treatments Japanese receive in E.U.
"Then I meet Ryo and Yukiya as we become a gang to make a place for ourselves..." Ayano said before having a sad look.
"I take it something bad happened?" Lelouch asked.
"My friends... they were killed."
"What happened?"
"..." Ayano looked down.
"You don't have to say anything if you don't want to."
"No, you earned it."
"We were going on a raid mission on a wealth mafia in hope of making our reputation better when that flame head armor guy shows up." Ayano said.
"Flame head...?"
"Yes, he was something I never seen before and we couldn't beat him..." Ayano said.
(Flashback)
Ryo, Ayano, and Yukiya groan in pain as they were struggle to get up and the place around them start burning.
"Why don't you just die?" Jam asked.
"Like I will listen to your shits..." Ryo said, wiped the blood from his mouth as he getting up.
Yukiya nodded as he do the same.
"Ayano, get out of here. We will hold him off..." Ryo said as this made Ayano looks surprised.
"What!? Are you two crazy!?" Ayano exclaimed.
"You have your grandfather to worry about." Ryo said.
Jam then held Ryo by the throat.
"Am I supposed to be impressed?" Jam asked.
"Coming from a guy who sounds like a kid, I would think you have low standards." Ryo joked.
"I bet you never drink a lot of milk." Yukiya agreed.
Jam looked at Ayano before Ryo and Yukiya dog piled him.
Ayano hesitated before running.
When she turns back, her eyes wide in horror to see the mansion burned down.
"Yukiya... Ryo... I am so sorry." Ayano said with guilty expression.
(Present)
"I'm so sorry..." Lelouch said. From what Ayano described the one who harms her friends could be another Rider he isn't aware of.
"We used to say to each other that we would die together but now...Tell me how is Nunnally?" Ayano asked, desperately wanting to change the subject.
"Well...promise to keep this to yourself?" Ayano nodded.
"We are alright. But she doesn't know about my Rebellion against Britannia as Zangetsu, it's for her and everyone's sake. There is something I should told you, my name is actually Lelouch vi Britannia." Lelouch said as this made Ayano looks surprised.
"Lelouch... why didn't you told me?" Ayano asked.
"Because you're the few people even seen me as a normal not as royal spoiled brat." Lelouch explains.
"Yeah, I would've thought that." Ayano said. "How is Suzaku?"
"He's in the Britannia military."
"Wh-What!? But why would he!?" Ayano exclaimed.
"It a long story..." Lelouch said.
(One story later)
"That goddamn fucking numbskull…" Ayano cursed. "He will make things worse." She promised herself that she is going to kick him hard in the balls.
"Can't say better than myself." Lelouch agreed. "But I am not giving up until I find out what causes Suzaku turned into a defeatist since it have something to do with his father's death."
"I see…" Ayano muttered.
"Also...you want to come over for dinner?" Lelouch asked. Ayano nodded.
(At Ashford)
Lelouch came in and saw Nunnally.
"Big brother, is that you?"
"Yeah...and a special someone." Ayano came in before placing her hand on Nunnally's.
Nunnally have a special expression on her face. "It... can't be, Ayano-chan?" Nunnally asked.
"It been a long time, Nunnally." Ayano said.
"Ayano-chan!" Nunnally smiled before hugging her.
Ayano hugged her back. "Hey there, doing good?" Ayano asked.
Nunnally nodded. "Me and brother are doing good here." She said.
"What about you? Are you here to stay?" Nunnally asked.
"You can say that." Ayano replied.
"How did you run into my brother?" Nunnally asked.
"We meet in the mall." Lelouch said.
"Ayano-chan, where were you during the war?"
"The EU."
"How is it there? Big brother said he had a friend there." Nunnally said.
Ayano looks surprised. "It quite a nice place, but it a little depressing."
"Is it because of the war with Britannia?" Nunnally asked.
"Yes," Ayano said.
"How is your family?" Nunnally asked.
"They...didn't come with me. Not enough room on the boat." Ayano lied. Lelouch had a sad look.
"Also her grandfather just passed away..." Lelouch said.
"I am sorry about your loss, Ayano-chan." Nunnally said with a sad expression.
"It's alright, Nunnally. I am happy to see you and Lelouch." Ayano said.
"It's great to see you too! Will you be staying for supper?" Ayano nodded before noticing CC nearby.
"Who is that?" Ayano asked to Lelouch.
"C.C."
"My Lelouch, I didn't think another girl would come." CC remarked.
"Charming as ever."
Ayano stares at them, "Are you two in a relationship?" she asked.
"We're just in a business type relationship." Lelouch said.
"He made a promise about our future." CC said.
Ayano looked at Lelouch. "What?"
"A promise about our future... sound odd to me." Ayano remarked.
"What? Did I step on someone's nerve?" CC asked
"What kind of promise?" Ayano asked.
"That he would fulfill my wish."
"And that wish?"
"You don't need to know." C.C. said.
"I don't know what you got Lelouch involved, but I won't forgive you if you hurt him." Ayano said.
"What's the worst you can do?" CC asked mockingly.
"Shouldn't have said that." Lelouch answered.
"Why?"
"She is someone you never mess with." Lelouch said. Ayano grabbed CC by the collar before going to the bedroom.
"Be right back." Ayano said before locking the door.
Sayoko then approach Lelouch. "Lelouch-sama, you seem pleased with Ayano's presence here." Sayoko said.
"Of course, she's an old friend."
"That's it? Nothing more?" Sayoko asked.
"If I recall, weren't you the one who took her to that festival dance when we were kids?" Nunnally recalled.
Lelouch blinks when Nunnally brought it up an old memory.
(Flashback)
The young Lelouch, Suzaku, and Nunnally were at the Kosaka residence to pick up Ayano for the summer festival. They knocked before Mrs. Kosaka appeared and looked at them.
"Ayano, your friends are here!"
"Hang on, Kaa-san!" Ayano's voice said.
Ayano soon came out in a red yukata with sakura flowers painted on it and a sakura flower in her hair.
Lelouch blushed at her appearance.
"Hi!" Ayano greeted.
"H-Hey Ayano..." Lelouch stuttered before hearing a chuckle from Suzaku.
Suzaku whispered something to Nunnally and she giggled as a response.
"What?" Both Lelouch and Ayano asked, noticing.
"Nothing~!" The other two waved off.
"Shall we get going?" Ayano asked.
Lelouch nodded.
"Take care, kids." Mrs. Kosaka said as the kids went off to the festival.
The four were on their way to the festival while Lelouch looked at Ayano. "Y-You look good, Ayano."
"Thanks!"
"Kaa-san picked it out for me." Ayano added.
"I-I see..." Lelouch answered while Ayano examined him.
"Is something wrong? Do you have a fever?" Ayano asked innocently.
"N-No..." Lelouch protest but Ayano places her hand on Lelouch's forehead and caused Lelouch turns crimson.
This causes Suzaku to laugh. "Oh my god...!"
Nunnally giggled as well before they reached the actual festival.
"Wow..." Lelouch remarked as he looked around.
"Neat, right?" Ayano asked. Lelouch nodded.
"Come on, there's great food here!" Suzaku said and the others followed.
They soon try out the food stands. As they were eating, Ayano offered to feed Lelouch a part of her sushi.
"You gotta try this!" Ayano said. Lelouch just blushed as a response.
"Umm..."
"Come on, Lelouch. Try it." Ayano said.
Lelouch looked at Suzaku and Nunnally. Suzaku gave a thumb's up while Nunnally smiled for her brother.
"Okay..." Lelouch ate it.
"What do you think?" Ayano asked.
"It's... good." Lelouch answered with a smile.
Lelouch then fed Ayano back, making her blush a little as well.
"Thanks..." Ayano said. They soon noticed a dancing nearby.
"How about you two join them?" Suzaku asked Lelouch and Ayano.
"Umm..."
"I'm sure you two will have fun." Nunnally said with an encourage smile.
Suzaku lightly pushed Ayano and Lelouch into the dancing crowds. The two found themselves trapped within said crowds before looking at each other. Lelouch turns around to see Suzaku and Nunnally waved at them.
"Umm... Lelouch, what do we do?" Ayano asked, nervous.
"I guess we have danced our way out of this." Lelouch said.
"I don't know how to dance..." Ayano admit.
"Umm... I can show you." Lelouch offered.
Lelouch delicately grabbed one of Ayano's hands before placing his other hand on her waist, making her blush.
"It's alright, trust me." Lelouch assured.
"Follow my lead." Ayano nodded, nervously.
The two soon start dancing slowly. As they were dancing, Ayano looked at Lelouch and she found looking a bit attractive.
"Something wrong?" Lelouch asked
"Umm..."
Soon fireworks were going off as the two looks at each other. "Well?" Lelouch asked.
"J-Just shut up and dance." Ayano response.
"Ok." Lelouch said.
(Present)
Lelouch blushed as he recalling the memories and Sayoko noticed it. "So you still have feeling for Ayano." Sayoko remarked.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about, Sayoko!" Lelouch said. "A lot of thing could change." Lelouch added.
"Then at least tell her to get it out of the way."
"I-It's not that simple!" Lelouch said.
"So Lelouch, the man with the plan, finally met his match?" Sayoko asked with a grin. This caught Lelouch to become quiet.
"Umm..." Lelouch's face turns red.
"Is everything alright?" Ayano asked, coming out of the room.
"Uh..."
CC soon came out with a black eye as this made Lelouch looks confused at her.
"What happened to you?" Lelouch asked CC.
"You don't want to know." C.C. said.
"You did blow her wraith that is what you get." Lelouch said.
"So Lelouch, what are you talking about?" Ayano asked.
"Just recalling some stuff." Lelouch answered.
"Like what?"
"The...summer festival when we were kids."
"Oh..." Ayano blushed.
"Remember when we danced?" he asked.
Ayano nervously nodded. She still didn't forget the way Lelouch and her danced. "How can I forget?" Ayano nervously asked.
CC then had a mischievous smile. "Then how about dance right now?" CC asked.
Both Lelouch and Ayano blushed. "W-What!?" They exclaimed.
"Oh come on... is it because we're watching you love birds right now." CC teased.
"W-We aren't like that!" They protested.
"I disagree." Nunnally giggled. She could imagine them hold hands and smiling.
"Nunnally..." Lelouch stammered. It also a good thing that Orpheus is here or he won't hear the end of his teasing now.
(Unknown location)
"Achoo!" Orpheus sneezed in his helmet.
"Are you alright?" a man asked.
"I am fine, Ze Dien." Orpheus said to assured the Indian man.
He and two members of Peace Mark were hiding to an unknown location where the former Knuckle and Kurokage stored their wealth.
"Are you sure the information about the Armored Brothers' whereabouts loot is accurate?" Orpheus nodded.
"I got it from them before they were dispose." Orpheus said. "Beside like many mercenaries, I am curious about the values of these loots before competition gone out."
Unknown to them, there were two shadow figures watching Orpheus and the two men. Orpheus turns around and saw no one.
"What is wrong?" a Peace Mark member asked.
"I could swear…" Before Orpheus finished, he and others hear bestial growl as they saw three Elementary Inves.
"Inves…" Ze Dien said.
Orpheus got out his Kiwi Arms ready and revealed his Sengoku Driver under his jacket.
"KIWI!"
"Henshin!" Orpheus shout.
"HAI~! KIWI ARMS! GEKI, RIN, SEIYA-HA!"
Orpheus transformed into his Ryugen armor with Kiwi GekiRin ready in his hands before starting to battle against them while the cloak figures were observing Ryugen's fighting style quietly.
When night time comes, Ayano came out of Nunnally's room after talking about the old times and saw Lelouch in his costume talking with Sayoko.
"I see… So how long are you going to be out, Lelouch-sama?" Sayoko asked.
"Not for long, I hope." Lelouch said. This got Ayano confused before making her presence known to both of them.
"Are you going to another raid with your pals?" Ayano asked.
Lelouch shook his head. "I am giving a trial test for those become Riders." He said. This made Ayano blinks in confusion.
"Why do you need to give a test…?" Ayano asked.
"In order to determine if they want to continue fighting or ran away. Being a Rider, there are responsibilities." Lelouch answered. Sayoko nodded.
"But it also a dangerous task." Sayoko added.
"I see…" Ayano said. "Is it alright if I can come along and watch this trial?"
"Where I am giving this task is kinda of dangerous place for humans, Ayano." Lelouch retorted. Especially the thought of Ayano accident eaten a Helheim fruit scared him.
"But I don't want to lose you after being reunited again…" Ayano said. This made Lelouch looks a bit surprised.
"Ayano…"
"Lelouch-sama, if you like I can keep Ayano safe and we stay hidden while you giving the trial." Sayoko suggested. "This will also determine if she want to stay or not."
Lelouch looks at Sayoko before Ayano and made his decision. Sayoko proved herself capable in using her abilities as a Rider and be able to keep Ayano safe from the fruits. "You have a point. Ayano, I want you to stay by Sayoko's side and made sure no one see you." he said.
Ayano nodded.
(A factory)
Kallen and Ohgi were waiting in the abandoned factory for a few minute before they hear a rumbling of engine and spotted the familiar cloak leader on his Sakura Hurricane.
"Zangetsu…" Ohgi said.
"Kallen, how is Kaname handle as a Rider?" Zangetsu asked.
Kallen nodded. "He is well adjusting to the power and I believe he is ready for the forest." She said.
"I see…" The cloaked leader then looks at Ohgi who seem a little nervous, "Are you afraid?" he asked.
"Kallen told me about the forest, I am still a little scared but I can't be scared if I let Kallen or you bear this alone." Ohgi said.
"I see…" Zangetsu said. "There is one more thing that I need to take care of before we went through Helheim forest."
"What is it?" Kallen asked.
Zangetsu looks at Kallen before Ohgi. "Kaname Ohgi, I show you something that you must not be spoke to anyone else until the time is right. Can you promise me that?"
Ohgi was surprised and then had a determine expression, "Of course. You have my word." He said.
Kallen's eyes wide in realization, "Wait a minute Zangetsu, are you going to…?" she asked.
"Yes, you are the first one figure out my identity." Zangetsu said before removing his hood from his head.
Ohgi saw Lelouch's face and was entirely surprised, "So… this is what you look like? You look to be Kallen's age." He said.
"My name is Lelouch Lamperouge, a student at Ashford Academy." Lelouch introduced himself.
"So you're from the same school as Kallen and Rai…" Ohgi muttered. "I can see why you didn't want to reveal your face when we first meet."
Lelouch nodded. "That's right, I am sure you're still shocked but my desire to defeat Britannia and I'm willing to risk my life to do so." He said.
Ohgi was amazed in found himself impressed in what he was witnessing and looks at Kallen. "I am surprised you never mention this to me and others." He said.
"Lelouch is similar to me, Ohgi. Both of us have double lives." Kallen said.
"Now… we be head for Helheim forest, you two better be ready." Lelouch said before getting out his Melon Lockseed.
Kallen and Ohgi nodded as they got out their respective Lockseeds.

Suddenly their respective Arms came out of their Crack before descending from them.
"Henshin!"

Soon the metallic fruits land on their heads before morphing their bodies into their bodysuits.
"MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"
"BANANA ARMS! KNIGHT OF SPEAR!"
"KURUMI ARMS! MISTER KNUCKLEMAN!"
They transformed into their Rider forms before Zangetsu got out a Donguri Lockseed and summoned an Elementary Inves from a Crack.
Baron soon snuck from behind and stabbed the Inves to cause it to explode before looking at Knuckle. "Once we inside, be prepared for the Inves." Baron warned to Knuckle.
"I will be alright." Knuckle said with affirm tone.
The three Riders goes through the Crack as Knuckle looks shocked at the forest and the purple fruits growing on the trees.
"You're right, Baron… This place is unnatural." Knuckle comment.
"Also those fruits are what our Lockseeds originated." Baron added.
Knuckle saw purple fruits before walking toward them and studied them carefully. He soon picked up one of them and it turns into a Lockseed with an Almond picture on it.
"I wonder what this one does…" Knuckle muttered before putting the Lockseed away and going for another Lockseed.
He soon got a Lockseed with a watermelon as his eyes wide in surprised. "Isn't this one…?"
"Yes, the Suika Lockseed, an extreme power Lockseed. I am surprised you were even lucky to get one on your second try." Zangetsu said with impressed tone.
"Hmph, true." Baron said after getting her hand on a Suika Lockseed.
Suddenly they hear bestial growls in the forest as the three Riders soon focused their attention on Inves appearing before them.
Knuckle gulped. "That is a lot of them…"
"Don't compared to numbers I encountered when I first come here." Baron said with a deadpanned expression.
"Be ready…" Zangetsu said. But he still concerned about how Ayano and Sayoko were doing right now.
Ayano accompanied Shadow into Helheim forest after she opened a Crack with a Lockseed. Ayano start looking at the unnatural forest with wide eyes.
"This is…" Ayano said in no small amount of shock.
"Indeed, this is the Helheim forest." Shadow said calm tone.
"Just being in this place make my skin crawl." Ayano said as she repressed a shudder.
"This is what he and others have to deal beside rebellion against Britannia." Shadow explains.
"But why…?" Ayano then noticed fruits growing on a vine wrapped on a nearby tree's bark. There was something about fruits that told her to pick one of them and eat it.
She was about to walk toward the fruits before Shadow whacked her in the head.
"Oww…" Ayano rubbing her head before getting out of her daze. "What just happened to me?" she asked.
"Those fruits can tempt people to eat them, but those who are Riders are immunity to the affect." Shadow explains before spotted a rat enter the crack.
Shadow slice off the vine with a Helheim fruit and tossed it to the rat. The rat sniffed at the fruit before take a bite of it and suddenly green vines wrapped around it as it become an Inves. The miniature Inves turn and soon made a run for the forest.
"This is what happened if you eat them." Shadow said. This causes Ayano to gulp.
"No way… and I almost eaten one…" Ayano said with a disbelief tone. Most of all, she couldn't look at the salad she eaten early.
"I would be forced to end you if that happens since there is no cure for those who turns into Inves. We should get going if you want to see Zangetsu." Shadow said as the two continued walking down the path.
"Sayoko-san… How long did you know Lelouch is Zangetsu?" Ayano asked. She knows Sayoko have taken care of Lelouch and Nunnally when they got to Ashford academy.
"It was a mistake at first. When I thought he was an intruder on Ashford Academy ground." Shadow explains as she recalls the day.
(Flashback)
Sayoko continued pursuing the white armor individual after witness him taking down the monster before finding him in the end of hallway.
"There is nowhere to run." Sayoko said, pointed her kunai at him. "Who are you and what is your purpose here?" she questioned.
The white armor individual looks back at Sayoko and breathe heavily. "I didn't know you are this good… Sayoko." He said in a familiar voice.
This causes Sayoko's caution look turns into a shocking expression when she recognized the voice from anywhere.
"Le-Lelouch-sama, is that you?" Sayoko asked with a surprised tone.
Zangetsu soon closed his Lockseed and revert back to a younger Lelouch. "I guess you caught me off guard." He chuckle, nervous. "I never know you were a Shinobi."
This made Sayoko look surprised since she never revealed her Shinobi stats to anymore. "Lelouch-sama… I apologized for mistaken you for an intruder." She said.
"I-It's alright, Sayoko." Lelouch said, scratching the back of his hair nervous. "Just promised not to tell anyone about this."
Sayoko complied but she want something in return. "I see… but in return, I want to know what is going on." Sayoko said.
"Alright…"
(Present)
"Whoa…" Ayano uttered in shock. "So that why you helps him against the Inves?" Shadow nodded with affirm.
"Sayoko-san… is Lelouch seeing any girls?" Ayano asked.
"Are you thinking about dating Lelouch-sama?" Shadow asked with a sly grin. This made Ayano blush immediately.
"I-It's not like that…" Ayano protest in embarrassment. "I am just curious…" she said quiet.
The ninja theme Rider could tell that Ayano still felt something for Lelouch even if she doesn't admit. "To be honest, there are many girls seem to be infatuated with Lelouch-sama, but they only see the mask he place to covered his real personalities." Shadow said as the two continued down the path.
This made Ayano looks surprised. "You got to be kidding me…" she uttered.
Shadow nodded before they heard explosion noises nearby and went behind the bushes as they were watch Zangetsu, Knuckle, and Baron fight side by side against the Inves.
"They're good…" Ayano said, can't help feeling impressed and awe by the fighting styles of other Riders. Though she can't help feeling a little envy that she wasn't out there fighting beside Lelouch.
Soon they heard Zangetsu told Baron and Knuckle to move into another area in order to see the ruin as the three Riders ready to move. They were about to follow them when Shadow suddenly turns around and throws her Pluriken at an incoming Elementary Inves from behind and cause it to explode. It wasn't long until more of them coming their way, Shadow decide to switched tactic now by getting out a Lockseed with picture of strawberry.
"ICHIGO!"
Suddenly a large metallic strawberry appears above Shadow and she switched the Lockseed with her Plum Lockseed then locked it in.
"LOCK ON!"
Shadow then using her Cutting Blade to slice the Lockseed.
"SOIYA! ICHIGO ARMS! SHUSHUTTO SPARK!"
After her Plum Arms vanished, the bottom of the metallic strawberry opened before it landed on her, allowing the tip to become a right shoulder pad. The rest of the Ichigo Arms disassembled. The top folded down the left side underneath before becoming another should pad. The front and a hidden portion inside of the Arms folded together to become a red triangular chest plate. The remaining pieces folded into her back with a red/pink splash of energy. Shadow's new helmet was red studded with a green top and her visor resembled a slice of a strawberry. Appearing in her hands, a pair of large throwing knives decorated with strawberries on the hilts, Ichigo Kunai.
Shadow start throwing the kunai as they exploded onto the Inves in the faces before summoned more from her behind as she throwing more kunai at the Inves. This made Ayano sweatdropped immediately.
"Where did she get those kunai from?" Ayano wondered out loud. "It like she have an unlimited supplies of them…" she said with disbelief.
Shadow turns around and tossed an Ichigo Kunai direct at the Shika Inves that try to sneak up on Ayano from behind.

Zangetsu currently leaded Knuckle and Baron to the site of ruin as Knuckle suddenly fall to his knees when he spotted the ruin.
"No way… so it true." Knuckle said in disbelief. "This is what will happened to our world if Helheim invade."
Baron didn't hesitated to give him and others about the horror of Helheim forest especially Knuckle here is to confront the claim.
"This is why Britannia need to be crushed." Zangetsu answered with stoic and bitter tone. "Ohgi, if you want to go back, now this is your chance." He said as he and Baron look at Knuckle.
Knuckle clenched his fist tightly and looks at Zangetsu. "Do you think that I will go back after what I just seen? The possible future of our world if we let Britannia do as their pleased? Hell no… I won't back down especially a debt need to repaid." he said.
"Welcome aboard, Ohgi." Baron said before helping Knuckle back up.
"It a surprised to see you here, Lelouch." Zangetsu and others turn to see a blue hair Japanese in military uniform with a Sengoku Driver around his waist.
"It's been a while, Akito." Zangetsu greeted.
"So these two are your fellow Black Knights." Akito said, looking at both Baron and Knuckle.
"Guys, this is Akito Hyuuga, he is from the E.U." Zangetsu said.
"You're Japanese…" Baron muttered with hint of surprised.
"So it true that most of our countrymen flee to the E.U…" Knuckle said. "Akito-san, is true that our kinsmen there living a harsh life?" he questioned.
Akito nodded. "I am afraid so, people being stuck in camp and military uses Japanese on suicide missions to fend off against Britannia. Those who entered the military to make sure their family gain citizenship in E.U." he said.
Zangetsu nodded. "I have been to the E.U. once and I can confirmed what Akito claimed is true." He said.
"Then why don't you join us if the E.U. mistreating our people? Don't you feel disgusted?" Baron asked with angry.
"Because I want to die as Akito, live as Kamuro." Akito said.
"Is that so, then I want to see how strong you are." Baron roared as she charged at Akito, only for the Japanese teen to dodge her initial blow by jump to the side and kicked her back to cause her to stumble a little.
"Charging blind with angry is the first mistake you never should make." Akito said.
"Kallen, what are you doing?" Knuckle asked.
"Stay out of it." Baron said before getting up and looks at Akito. "Now transform!"
"Very well…" Akito said before getting out his Silver Lockseed.
"SILVER!"
A silver metallic apple appears above Akito's head.
"LOCK ON!"
He places his Silver Lockseed in his driver and using the knife like lever.
"Henshin…" Akito declared before pushing down the Cutting Blade of his Driver.
"SOIYA!"
The silver apple sphere dropped and landed on his shoulder, engulfing his head. The energy came out of the sphere and on his body, coating him in the armor. He has a white and cyan bodysuit. His arms and legs had cyan bracers for extra protection.
The silver apple soon sparked and began to disassemble into armor pieces. The sides folded together to form shoulder plates, but remained slightly separate to give the image of cyan apple slices. The front folded together onto his chest, but then two panels of the apple's 'skin' split apart, revealing his silver chest plate. The back pieces landed on the back, finishing the armor. He has a silver helmet with a silver mouth guard. It wasn't until a silver spear tip resembling an apple seed/core like crown was there before an apple slice into place, creating the yellow visor, cyan back helmet. In his hand was a spear like weapon with a similar point like his helmet.
This is Kamen Rider Kamuro Silver Arms.
"SILVER ARMS! HAKUGIN NEW STAGE!"
"What kinda of Lockseed is that?" Knuckle asked.
"Even if that make you pretty, I am not going down!" Baron shout as she try to attack him again.
Kamuro blocks her attacks with his staff before shoved Baron backward. The silver samurai Rider then slash Baron violently across the chest. The force of the strike caused a massive burst of sparks to explode from Baron's chest as she was sent reeling, crying out in pain.
"Guh…!" Baron grunted as she stood up once more and charged at Kamuro. "I'm just getting started!"
While Baron continued attacking Kamuro who dodging her attacks, Knuckle is talking with Zangetsu as the two were watching the fight.
"Zangetsu, is he always this good?" Knuckle asked.
"Akito been taught by his mentor who happened to be Kamuro before him until he disappear and that is how he knows about Helheim forest." Zangetsu said.
"Have you ever fight him?" Knuckle asked.
"Yes, a couple of time. But he is stronger than me and Orpheus." Zangetsu admit. This made Knuckle look surprised.
"Y-You can't beat him…?" Knuckle never imagined the white samurai would lost even though he can handle other Riders especially cutting down Knightframe.
"COME ON! BANANA SQUASH!"
"Hyah!" Baron thrust her energized Banaspear to impaled Kamuro who countered swiftly with his own finisher.
"SOIYA! SILVER SQUASH!"
Kamuro shattered Baron's finisher with his staff before his staff glowing with energy light then launched his attack at her which sending her skyward with an upward thrust.
Then Baron fall faceplate to the ground. "Gah…" Baron try to gets her head from the ground.
"Do you still want to continue or give up?" Kamuro questioned.
"Damn right… but I won't lose here yet! Until I free Japan and this world from Britannia itself!" Baron answered.
"Why do you want to free Japan even though we lose in the invasion?" Kamuro asked, can't help feel slight curious about her reason of fighting.
Baron got up and glares at Kamuro. "You probably don't know since you weren't there. Because of Britannia, my Onii-chan was murdered and my Kaa-san fall to the drug Refrain. That is why I need to become stronger in order to free those shackle to Britannia's rules so Kaa-san can live a peaceful live again. I would do anything for that!" Baron replied defiantly.
"Kaa-san…" Kamuro muttered. Kamuro's mind flashed back to the person who saved him from dying, his own mother. Because of his mother, he was about to survived from the massacred that created by his own brother before she passed away.
Kamuro looks at Baron. "Can you really break Britannia's hold on Japan like those who couldn't in the past?" he continued.
"I know I can!" Baron answered.
"I see… Lelouch picks interesting people in his Black Knights. Then show me your resolve in face of overwhelming odds." Kamuro said.
Baron grabbed her Mango Lockseed. "I will…" She said.
"MANGO!"
"LOCK ON!"
"COME ON! MANGO ARMS! FIGHT OF HAMMER!"
Brandishing the Mango Punisher, Baron rushed toward Kamuro with a defiant roar and brought her weapon down for a crushing blow. Kamuro blocks the swing with his staff before Baron pushed Kamuro with surprising strength and send him back.
Kamuro stagger a few feet back. "Not bad… It's been awhile since I have a challenge like this." Kamuro said. Within Kamuro's helmet, Akito's eyes started glowing red. From that, Kamuro's visor turned from yellow to bright red and let out a growl.
"Oh no…" Zangetsu muttered. He recognized the glowing of the eyes almost anywhere.
Kamuro soon spin his staff around as he summoned silver energy like apple orbs before sending them at her. Baron growled before she quickly rolled to the side, dodging the attack before she deflected the next attacks with her war hammer.
Kamuro soon accelerated toward Baron before punched and head butted her to send her stagger backward.
"When did he becoming this good?" Baron asked, dumbfounded.
Knuckle looks at Zangetsu. "What is wrong with him?" Knuckle asked.
"He is going berserk…" Zangetsu said. "Baron, I need you to knocked him off his track! Akito, snapped out of it!" he shout.
But Kamuro wasn't listening as he charges at her again, the European knight theme Rider is ready when she pressed down her Cutting Blade three times.
"COME ON! MANGO SPARKING!"
"Apologized after you regain your sense…!" Baron exclaimed as she swung her weapon, firing an energy projectile in the shape of Mango Punisher's head.
Kamuro looks up to see the Mango Punisher before it collided with his head and cause a big explosion to send him backward and rolling on the ground.
Zangetsu approached to the silver Rider before he regained his senses.
"Akito, are you there?" Zangetsu asked.
"Sorry, Lelouch. I lost myself again." Kamuro said.
"What was that about?" Baron asked as she and Knuckle approached them.
"A curse I have been inflicted when I was young," Kamuro explain, getting himself back up.
"A curse…? Seriously?" Knuckle looks bewildered.
"By someone Akito despise," Zangetsu said.
Kamuro nodded. "And I intend on make him paid for it." He confirm before looking at Baron, "Do you still want to continue?"
Baron stares at the Silver Rider before response. "No, I don't think so. But if you find a way to remove your curse, you owe me a rematch," Baron said seriously.
"I accept." Kamuro said before undo his transformation. "It's best that I will be going back now." He said before leaving.
"See you around, Lelouch." Akito said. The white Rider nodded.
Zangetsu looks at Akito as the blue hair Japanese walking alone back into the forest. He is thinking back to what happened when Akito lost control and his visor turns red. 'Could it be my imagination or Akito's curse is similar to…' Zangetsu thought to himself. He might need to confront Akito of this when they meet next time.
Baron and Knuckle soon transforms back to their civilian forms.
"I think we should head back to our world now." Kallen said. "I am sore from fighting him."
"Same here." Ohgi said.
"Alright, but I am going to stay here for a little bit longer." Zangetsu said.
"Well… Lelouch, I will see you later." Ohgi said with a smile.
Kallen and Ohgi got out their Lockvehicles as they left the ruin while Zangetsu stay behind. The white Rider hear quiet footsteps before turns to see Ayano who approaching him.
"So this place is what going happened to our world…" Ayano said quiet.
Zangetsu nodded before he revert back to his original self. "That is why Britannia need to be crushed before Helheim start reaching our world or our world be the same as the civilization befall here." He said.
"How long do you think we have?" Ayano asked.
"I don't know… but if I don't do something, then the gentle world I envision for Nunnally and those I cared will be for nothing." Lelouch said with hint of sadness.
Suddenly Lelouch felt pair of arms wrapped around his waist and seeing Ayano pulling him into a hugged.
"It must be hard to bear all this burden on your own, Lelouch." Ayano said sadly. "I won't let you do this alone anymore."
"Ayano… are you sure? You can still-" Lelouch try to counter before Ayano interrupted him.
"I am not run away again, I let my friends die because of that! I'm not lost you or Nunnally-chan!" Ayano snapped as this made Lelouch quiet.
This cause guilty shows on his face, Lelouch soon wrapped his arms around Ayano and hugging her tightly, "I am sorry, Ayano…" he apologized. "I shouldn't say-"
"It's alright…baka." Ayano said, resting her head on his chest.
I don't know if I truly deserved this… but I won't let you suffered again, Ayano. But I promise that I will keep you safe… Lelouch vowed to himself.
AN: That is the end of the chapter. Here is the reunited of Lelouch and Ayano along with Ohgi seeing the ruin and Baron versus Kamuro. If you want to know when Lelouch is going to become Zangetsu-Shin, I am debating between the event of Mao or the SAZ event. But you can give me suggestions between the two.
