Ch12: Message from Kyoto!
(Unknown location)
"So the Britannian Viceroy's gone this far already…" a figure noted, several key members of the group sitting Seiza-style around a fireplace as they discussed the latest chain events, "It would seem she's not at all the simpleton her brother was."
"With the Japan Liberation Front smashed, the last embers of Japan have died away." Another voice sighed, his tone laced with angry resignation, even as his fists tightened in his lap in his ire.
"NO!" a third voice countered, even as a water chime sounded in the garden outside, the speaker thumping his knee with conviction as he spoke, "He may be on the run, but Todoh is still strong! Still fighting!"
"Even if that's so," a fourth voice sighed in resignation, this one sitting with his arms crossed before him, his head lowered against his chin in thought, "I heard he lost his custom Burai, so there's no hope."
"There IS hope." A fifth voice corrected, this one decidedly younger than those of the others, who turned to face the speaker, a young girl with bright emerald eyes, as she sat behind the screen, smiling out at them.
"The Black Knights?" the further voice muttered, sound both skeptical and disbelieving as he started at the speaker, "You've been infatuated with Zangetsu since he rescued Kururugi Suzaku, and we even sent him the Guren MKII."
"Does this Zangetsu character truly merit such interest from you, Kaguya-dono?" one of the other speakers asked, his tone decidedly more respectful, "I mean, we don't even know if he is Japanese!"
"A matter I intend to rectify soon enough." A sixth, aged voice pointed out, the group turning as one to eye the eldest member of the meeting, who held his cane tightly as he climbed to his feet, "I shall measure this Zangetsu's worth."
Kaguya sighed, shaking her head as the old men rambled on about this and that. Why couldn't they just accept that her women's intuition had been right?
Zangetsu is a blessed from the heaven itself… Kaguya thought to herself, after witnessing her estranged cousin's rescue. But his destiny shall be my husband and father of my future children…
But first, she must prepared herself to be the best bride she could be.
Lelouch is currently working on repairing C.C.'s Sengoku Driver before he felt a sudden shiver down his spine right now. He didn't know why, but had the indescribable feeling that something very bad was going to happen.
Please don't tell me that I have another fangirl… Lelouch thought with sweatdropped.
(Cue X.U by Sawano Hiroyuki)
(Instrumental) The screen opens up to show Lelouch and Zangetsu back-to-back as light covered the screen before changing to show Kallen, Suzaku, Orpheus, Rai, Euphemia and Nunnally before the screen was covered with vines and purple fruits.
(I don't want nobody to get killed) Lelouch was sitting on his Lancelot Club with his hands supporting his chin as rain heavily cascaded around him
(I'll come and get, I am always ready to fight) The screen changed to show Zangetsu sinking into a lake while another screen shows Ayano with a hand over her chest.
(Instrumental) Lockseeds appeared before they were seen scattering across the world.
(So don't take all of the blame) The scene showed the Black Knights in their headquarters.
(We're all as bad) The Britannian Military came into focus.
(Ah wait, don't take all of it away) Now different factions from across Earth flashed by.
(You always do) Armored figures showed up in the darkness, the only lights being their visors.
(We'll always be something you cannot control) In the shadows, a flame-shaped head was flanked by two Riders with unique bows.
(We will overcome – Your salvation has begun) Deep in the forest of Helheim, a white creature wielding a Zanbato was leading an army of Inves.
(No suns, no lights) Lelouch was looking to the side before changing to Ayano doing the same thing.
(Such a mess all over) The screen changed to show Lelouch and Ayano holding their hands out to each other.
(Don't kill your hopes) Now CC was standing on an embedded Musou Saber as wind blew through her hair and clothes.
(You make me realize who I need) The screen changes to show Lelouch looking up with a determined glare before he is encased in his Zangetsu armor.
(I'll be there, hold on) Zangetsu charged forward slashing the Shika Inves with his sword
(But it changes somehow) Ryugen fired at Inves and Britannian soldiers alike.
(So where are you now) Zangetsu and Ryugen jumped into the air and performed their Rider Kicks.
(I'll reach you, my darling) Baron pierced an Inves with the Banaspear before cutting two more in half.
(The shadows of the earth) Gaim slashed an Inves with his dual blades before combining both in a wide, area-clearing sweep.
(Illusions so bright) Baron and Gaim charged into a mixed army of Britannia soldiers and Inves.
(They're falling just to run – let them know-) Now the Riders watched as both the Black Knights and Britannia launched all-out Knightmare Frame attacks
(When it's the pain that makes us so human after all) Leila was watching the battle as the rest of her force joins in the battle.
(Toward city, a border patrol) Lelouch kept walking alone in the city, strange plants growing behind his trail.
(1000 precious words, just to start with a spark) The camera turned to Zangetsu and others helping each other fighting the Inves before Zangetsu charged forward and clashed with the white figure swords-first, sparks blinding the screen for a bit.
(To the core) Soon Zangetsu, Baron, Ryugen, and Gaim appeared as the title page appeared.
(Lancelot's trailer)
Lloyd had a face filled with shock as he looked at his damaged Lancelot but his expression changed when he looks at Lancelot's cameras at Zangetsu's Knightframe.
"How could it be possible…?" Lloyd muttered in disbelief.
"Lloyd?" Cecile called out, the bluenette technician peeking into her boss' private office, or the Pudding lair as many of the tech's called it, where he'd sequester himself for the past day. "Are you in here?"
"Ah, Cecile." The Earl of Pudding greeted, his fingers blurring away as he stared at the computer screen, several empty packets of pudding littering the floor around his desk, his wastepaper basket overflowing, "Did you need something?"
"I merely brought you some coffee." The technician reported cheerfully, carrying in a tray with the aforementioned caffeine drink and a stack of papers, "Also, the repair report for the Lancelot."
Lloyd twitched but said nothing, a clear sign that he was slowly getting over having his masterpiece trashed by the Black Knights.
"I was actually going over the specs myself especially Lancelot's new attacker. You might be in for a shocked." Lloyd said, accepting the coffee and nodded at the screen. Cecile take the look at the screen and her eyes wide immediately in shocked. "How could it be possible? I thought the Lancelot Club was discard since no one could pilot it." She said.
"Until Zangetsu shows up." Lloyd said.
(With Rai)
Rai got off of his Sakura Hurricane as he looks around the warehouse. This place is where Orpheus seem to be staying. Rai know about Orpheus's past and that he would kill his uncle for what he did.
After the battle of Narita, he noticed Orpheus seem to be distant than usually and Lelouch doesn't seem to be bother by it. But Orpheus is also his comrade and he just wanted to check on him.
He looks around the place carefully before he being tackle to the ground. He looks up to see his attacker, which was Orpheus himself.
"Orpheus, calm down."
Orpheus looks surprised to see the white hair teen. "Rai? What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I am asking you the same thing. You've been very secretive these past few days." Rai explained.
"I am here to confirm something since Kallen told me that you guys encounter a Rider with a childish voice, right?" Orpheus asked.
Rai nodded.
"I have an idea who he could be… But I want to see who exactly he is under the helmet first." Orpheus said. If it the same individual who helped play the part of destruction of his village and puts Euria in a coma.
"Should we tell Lelouch and others about th-"
But Orpheus give him a dangerous look. "No, if we get too many involved with this mission. There is no doubt that he will move elsewhere and I will missed my chance at making him paid for put me and Euria in the hellhole." Orpheus said, angry.
Rai knows that Orpheus and Lelouch are close friends, but he never seen him this bitter.
"In that case… let me help you." Rai suggested. Orpheus thought about this.
"Why?"
"You're obviously going to need help without attracting too much attention, even as a Rider. With my help, I think you could pull off the mission." Rai said. Orpheus isn't the only one want to get answer from the mystery black-pink Rider, he might be his clue to his past.
"Sound fair. But if you get in my way…" Orpheus brought out the Budou Lockseed and pointed at him.
"…I will kill you." Orpheus said as he placed the Lockseed away.
"Okay." Rai response. "So, any idea where the mystery Rider can be?"
Orpheus takes out what looks like a map and draw a circle. "Before you came, I already have Draco scout through the forest and spotted a research tent nearby. The place isn't far from the ruins. From the looks of the place, it seem to be heavily guarded. I just need to make the necessary preparations before we can begins." Orpheus said.
"That is enough to give me enough time to attend the meeting between the Black Knights and Kyoto. Are you coming?" Rai asked.
"Maybe, also picked up some useful goods if Kyoto have anything good to offer." Orpheus said.
"Let's go. Meeting in a couple of hours and I feel like getting some lunch."
"Are you going to have Kallen make lunch for you again?" Orpheus asked with a slight grin. This made Rai blushed slight.
"W-What are you talking about!?"
"Oh nothing." Orpheus said. "I hope to get something to eat."
"Orpheus, I been wonder… but how did you meet Lelouch anyway?" Rai asked, can't help feeling quite curious about his relationship with Lelouch.
"Do you really want to know?" Orpheus asked. Rai nodded.
"It was a few years ago… when-" Orpheus recalled.
(Flashback)
Ryugen looks around the forest with nervous expression behind his helmet.
"W-What in the world is this place?" Ryugen asked, nervously.
He was chasing an Inves and followed it into the portal before finding out that he stuck here when the portal is nowhere to be found.
'I hope Euria wasn't too worry…' Ryugen thought, concerned about his girlfriend back at their village.
Suddenly he hears sounds moving behind him and ready to pull the trigger on another incoming Inves before shooting…
A white armor individual who dodged the shot before the two stared at each other in shock.
"What the hell!?" They exclaimed at the same time. "No way…" They uttered at the same time.
"There is a person… in this forest?" Ryugen asked, looking dumbfounded.
"I-I thought I was the only one with this power… but why the hell did you trying to shot me in the first place?!" The white armored individual demanded angrily.
"W-Wait, I didn't mean to! I-I thought you were an Inves!" Ryugen protested before the white armor teen stop his attack.
"I see… Then I assumed this is your first time in the forest." The white armor teen said before undo his transformation and revert back to his original form as a raven hair with violet eyes.
Ryugen looks surprised at him and noticed he is almost the same age as him.
"I take it that you know where we are." Ryugen said before undo his transformation and revert back to Orpheus.
This cause the raven hair teen to look surprised as if he knew someone like him.
"Is there something wrong?" Orpheus asked.
"What is your name?" The raven hair teen questioned.
"Orpheus. What's yours?" Orpheus asked.
"Lelouch." The raven hair teen known as Lelouch said. "Tell me, how did you end up in this place?"
(Present)
"We also meet Hyuga who happened to find both of us." Orpheus said. "Anyway, we should head for the meeting now."
(Black Knights' transport)
Lelouch in his cloak disguised sitting in the transport along with Ayano and others before Orpheus and Rai finally came in to join them.
"Apparently, Kyoto praised us for using the Guren MK-II so well back at Narita." Ohgi said with a smiled to everyone. "I thought that was pretty encouraging."
"But I can't believe the Lancelot have to show up and ruined it." Kallen said, as she read over the manual that had come with her new Knightframe.
"But I will assured you that we won't let him do what he please again," Zangetsu said. This made the others nodded.
Suddenly Ohgi remembered something and head Zangetsu, who had been quiet throughout the conversation, a small white envelope.
"Oh? What's this?"
"A love letter."
"I'm terribly sorry, Ohgi, but I'm afraid I don't quite swing that way." Zangetsu said under his cloak.
This cause roaring laughing in the trailer, Tamaki holding his stomach before fall on the floor, holding his sides from laughing so hard. Ohgi looked appalled and embarrassed by that before clearing his throat, his cheeks tinged red.
"T-that wasn't what I meant! What I mean to say is, it's a letter from Kyoto. They're requesting a meeting from us by tomorrow." Ohgi explain as this cause other Black Knights to calm down.
"Seriously? Hot damn!"
"So, they're finally recognizing us!"
"I don't mean to sound the killjoy, but is this really necessary?" Zangetsu asked.
"But it's Kyoto!" Kallen exclaimed.
Ohgi looked confused a moment before answering.
"Well, considering that this is Kyoto we're talking about, yeah, I'd say this is necessary. Not only would we get more financial and military aid, but also some relief and intelligence too."
At the mention of finances, Zangetsu looked up from the letter. Rai could tell from underneath the cloak that he seemed to be very confused and disturbed.
"What do you mean by, 'get more financial aid'?"
Ohgi cringed.
"If you followed the budget plan I laid out for you, then there shouldn't be a problem." Zangetsu said.
"Well…" Ohgi began.
Kallen looked over at Tamaki, giving him the stink eye. He saw it almost immediately and scowled.
"The hell are you looking at me for?!" he started. "We're turning into a big organization now! That means more expenses, you know!"
"I think the reason we're low on money is because of Mr. Big Spender here." Kallen said with a smug look.
Tamaki flinched. "W-wait, you know about that!?"
Zangetsu sighed, shaking his head. What is he thinking of putting Tamaki in charge of Treasury?
"Ohgi, please maintain our current budge from now on."
"Wait, what?! That's supposed to be my job!" Tamaki argued.
"Oh, really?"
"Maybe we can let Tamaki try to prove himself, Zangetsu. What do you think?" Rai suggested to the cloaked leader.
This made Zangetsu ponder at Rai's suggestion and got a new idea. "I see… if that the case, then do please prove you're capable of managing our finances by taking out the Black Knights to dinner with your own money. And when I say the Black Knights, I mean all of them, including the new recruits." Zangetsu said with a dark aura. This is definitely a fitting punishment for someone like Tamaki.
Tamaki's face was one of pure horror while everyone even Kallen started laughing.
"H-hey, come on! No need to go that far!" Tamaki said.
Rai can't help grinning and decided to join in.
"I heard about a new sushi restaurant, maybe we can all go there after meeting with Kyoto?" Rai asked.
This cause Tamaki look shocked. "Like hell we are kid! Do you have any idea how expensive that place is!?" he exclaimed.
"I did always want to go there." Ayano said.
"What a fine idea, Rai." Zangetsu said with devious grin.
"WHAT!?" Tamaki then noticed other Black Knights looking at him with a smirk. "Not you guys too!"
"I am in as long as Tamaki is buying for all of us." Kallen agreed.
"Me too."
"Ohgi!" Ohgi shrugged.
"Sorry, Tamaki. But I am going to be really sorry for your wallet." Ohgi said.
Needless to say, the meeting adjourned rather quickly that evening with laughing.
A clash of steels could be hear as Habakiri and Shadow can been seeing sparring with each other before Shadow jump away from her swing.
"I heard that Shinozaki clan is good, but I can see why…" Habakiri said, taking some breath.
"But you will need ten more years of experience to be able to touch me with your blade, Ayano." Shadow said calmly before vanished again.
Habakiri looks frankly around until she spotted the ninja theme Rider came to the side with a kick and barely have enough time to block the attack as Shadow kicked her across the field.
Habakiri rolled on the ground and groan as she look up to see Shadow's weapon against her face. "I conceded…" she admit before Shadow pulled her weapon away.
"I believed you're improved quite better than Lelouch-sama when he trains under me." Shadow said before she revert back to her original form.
Habakiri closed her Lockseed and revert back to her original form. "But I need to get strength… in order to face up with what happened in the past." She said. She never forget Jam for what he did to her friends.
"But don't let your personal grudge cloud your mind, Ayano." Sayoko warned.
"Hai, Sayoko-sensei…" Ayano said before deciding to check on Lelouch.
Meanwhile Lelouch closed the door quiet after making sure Nunnally finally went to sleep and turn around to find C.C. in front of him.
"What is this time?" Lelouch asked.
"I have been wonder about this… but why don't you asks Ayano on a date?" C.C. asked. This causes Lelouch to fluster immediately.
"W-what? Did you say d-date?" Lelouch asked.
"I didn't stutter, Melon boy." C.C. remarked with a smirk.
Lelouch turns away from C.C. and walk down to his room. "I don't have time to ask her that. Both of us are in war—" he protested.
"But going on a date can helped you determine if your feeling is real or not." C.C. pointed out. This made Lelouch looks surprised at C.C.
"What did you just say?"
"It looks like I am right about you, Melon boy. You're suck at romance." C.C. said with a teasing tone. This is one aspect, C.C. find amusing to tease around the infamous White Devil.
"H-How…?"
"I have been with many contractors with similar issue in the past." C.C. continued. "But I want to make sure she doesn't cause any problems to our contract." She said.
Lelouch soon regained his composition. "Like you should concerned with my life." Lelouch scoffed. But the witch does came up with a point about his personal feeling and wish to know if it real.
"I can't wait to see who will make the move first, Melon boy…" C.C. said with a smirk.
Unknown to them, Ayano is listening outside of Lelouch's room and have a light blush on her face. Though she originally want to talk with Lelouch, but she can't help overheard their conversation. What the lime hair witch say brought a lot of questions in her mind…
Though Ayano never would go out on date with any guys… except, maybe an exiled former Prince who vowed to blaze his former country to hell.
But still I want to find out if I mean anything to Lelouch…Ayano thought to herself. But she don't know anything about dates.
"Maybe I should ask Sayoko-sensei for some advices…" Ayano muttered to herself. She decide to see her fellow kinsmen for some answers.
(Helheim forest)
"I'm telling you I saw an intruder right here." An armed soldier said as he and his fellow comrade checked where he thinks that he saw an intruder.
"I don't see anything. This is just a waste of—" Before the second soldier could finished, the armed soldier grabbed his head and twisted it, breaking his neck. Soon that soldier morphed back into Orpheus.
Orpheus turned off his Geass.
"Rai, the coast is clear." Orpheus said as Rai who wearing hazamat suit stepped out from the shadows.
"Did you think there is a Crack around here?" Orpheus nodded.
"Indeed. There should be." Orpheus explained. "Draco is waiting on far from the camp."
"Then let's go." Rai said as the two progressed into the camp tent.
They placed their Sengoku Drivers on their waists in case of this going haywire. They tried their best to avoid any guard they see and were either knocking them out or discreetly killing them.
They soon came across a tent and noticed some scientists in there.
"I can't believe we have to move the operation here after what happened to Prince Clovis and that girl went missing, George." One scientist said.
"True, but our new boss assured it will be safest especially we have Pluton to help us in the Scalar project." A man said as this causes Orpheus's eyes went wide immediately.
Orpheus heard about Code R from Lelouch, but he is more shocked to find out his own uncle's organization is involved with it, he soon made his move now by taking out his silenced pistol and fired at the scientist along with other two guards.
The remaining people in the tent turned to look at Orpheus with surprise.
"Who are you!?"
"Someone you don't need to know." Orpheus said.
"So much for the element of surprise." Rai muttered.
"Take care of them…!" George said as he and another scientist take what looks like disks before fleeing together.
Orpheus soon made a chase after them while the guards try to shoot Rai down.
"I guess there is no choice." Rai said before getting the Black Orange Lockseed out.
"BLACK ORANGE!"
"Henshin!" Rai shout.
Rai quickly locked the Lockseed into his Driver and move the Cutting Blade.
"SOIYA! BLACK ORANGE ARMS! KURO MICHI ON STAGE!"
The Black Orange Arms land on his head and shoulders before he transformed into Kamen Rider Yami Gaim and started fighting the guards with his Daidaimaru.
"This is my stage now!" Yami Gaim declared.
"Is that the Black Knights' Kamen Rider!?" A guard let out.
"Does that mean the Black Knights are here!?" Another guard said before Yami Gaim knocked them into unconsciousness.
Suddenly he spotted a Sutherland trying to shoot him and Yami Gaim duck immediately.
"I hope Orpheus is alright on his end…" Yami Gaim muttered before he stares hard at the Knightframe that try to kill him.
Orpheus is currently in pursued of both of the men while shooting the troops that were in his way. It wasn't until he noticed the two men are heading for a large crack nearby.
I can't let them get through that portal! Orpheus thought serious before heard a familiar sound…
"MATSUBOKKURI SQUASH!"
He dodged out of the way from the three impacts and saw… three Kurokages standing in front of him.
Orpheus rubbing his eyes and he still see three Kurokages in front of him. "Am I seeing this right?" Orpheus asked.
"Eliminated the intruders." The middle Kurokage said as they try to impale Orpheus with their spears.
Orpheus immediately dodged their attacks before he grabbed one of their spear and kicked one of the Kurokage in the nuts and try to defend himself against their attacks.
I can't transformed if they keep attacking me like this! Orpheus thought with serious expression.
Suddenly Yami Gaim jumps and slash them with both his Daidaimaru and Musou Saber as the Kurokage Troopers were forced back.
"Get suit up, Orpheus." Yami Gaim said. "These guys won't be easy."
Orpheus nodded before getting out his Budou Lockseed.
"BUDOU!"
"Henshin!" Orpheus said before placing the Lockseed into his Driver.
"HAI~! BUDOU ARMS! RYO HOU, HA-HA!"
After Budou Arms came down on him, he soon transformed into Ryugen with both his main weapon and Kagematsu.
Ryugen joins Yami Gaim as he spins his spear and slashed the Kurokage Troopers then shoot them with his Budou Ryuhou. This cause sparks flying off of the Kurokage Troopers before they fall to the ground.
Ryugen pushed down his Cutting Blade once.
"HAI~! BUDOU SQUASH!"
Soon purple orbs gather in Ryugen's Budou Ryuhou before he unleashed rapid shoots. Yami Gaim combined both his Daidaimaru and Musou Saber together before pushing down his Cutting Blade.
"SOIYA! BLACK ORANGE SQUASH!"
Yami Gaim soon spin his weapon to create a black wave and send the attack at the Kurokage Troopers. The two attacks caused the Kurokage Troopers to explode as unconscious guards fall to the ground.
George and a scientist try to flee before Ryugen shot him in the leg to cause him to collapse on the ground as the scientist made through the portal alone.
"W-What do you want from me?" George asked, fearfully.
But Ryugen knocked his head and caused him to fall into unconscious immediately. "Well, I supposed this trip isn't bad." Ryugen said.
"We should get out of here since I don't know how many guards they have." Yami Gaim said.
"Good idea." Ryugen said before carrying George over his shoulder. "I will call Draco to help with our escape."
Yami Gaim sighed in relief before he noticed a case on the ground and surprising it full with Lockseeds that he never seen as he take them.
(Back at the Black Knights' hideout)
The members of the Kozuki resistance were reminiscing from back during the days of being freedom fighters before ending up becoming knights of justice.
"Man, to think that we'd turn into celebrities… I'm telling ya, if Naoto was here, he'd be shitting bricks."
"No kidding, Sometimes I can't help but wonder where we'd be if we didn't join up with Zangetsu."
"We'd probably six feet under back at Shinjuku. He saved all of our asses, but I wish we knew who he really was." Inoue said.
Ohgi didn't say much since he was thinking about Lelouch who swore he going to crushed Britannia and look in his eyes are real. But like others, he knows that without Lelouch, they won't be here today or become fighter for humanity.
True… but Lelouch have a reason he didn't want to show his face to others… Ohgi thought to himself. But like Kallen, he can't help feeling there is something Lelouch want to keep people out.
After fighting beside Lelouch long enough to know that he didn't see them as pawns, but as allies. If he hadn't, there would have been no way that he would inform them of Helheim, and his plans. He even save him from being crushed by the previous Knuckle. What occurred back at Narita was absolute proof of his conviction. And then, of course, there was what he said, and what he had done.
"If you think you can lead the Black Knights better than I can, then shoot me! Someone! Anyone!"
"Sugiyama does have a point, Inoue."
"I know that, Minami, but even still…"
Suddenly Ohgi's thought is interrupted when Inoue come toward him. "Hey Ohgi, what type of person do you think Zangetsu is?" Inoue asked. They know Ohgi is also close to Zangetsu like Kallen because he choose him as a Rider.
"I-I assured that he could be trusted, Naomi." Ohgi said.
"But did you even see him behind the suit?" Minami asked.
"D-do we need to know who he is? He helped us against Cornelia's forces." Ohgi insisted, doesn't want to break Lelouch's trust.
"Since when are you this defensive, Ohgi? We've been at things like this for a while now." Inoue said, narrowing her eyes a bit of the strangeness of Ohgi's current behavior.
"Ohgi, it unlike you to keep secret from us after everything we been through." Sugiyama said, crossing his arms. They been working together since Naoto brought them together.
"I…" Ohgi knows that Sugiyama have a point since he hate to keep secrets from them. "I can't tell you unless Zangetsu himself is here... but whether he is Britannian or Japanese, I trust him." He said.
Minami stares hard at Ohgi before he nodded. "Alright, we will wait until Zangetsu answered himself." He said.
Lelouch, I hope you can trust them too like you did for me and Kallen… Ohgi thought to himself.
(Next day)
Lelouch is currently on the phone with Orpheus in his private quarter.
"Huh? So you aren't going to be at the meeting?" Lelouch asked.
"Sorry… but I find something important to take care of. I hope you can understand." Orpheus apologized. This made Lelouch rolls his eyes in annoyance of his friend. "Fine. But I expected a full explanation the next time you shows up, Orpheus." He said. He figure Orpheus might find something either about the Pluton or the Geass Order and want to know as well.
"Yes… But did you figure out who the members of Kyoto?" Orpheus asked.
"Well… I managed to draw down to few individuals that I believed to be the members but I have to confirm it myself." Lelouch said, looking at his laptop.
Lelouch was waiting for the limousine to arrive and when it came, the driver's window opened up.
"I was told to wait for you and your comrades by my master, where are they?" The driver questioned.
"They're patrolling the area so that we won't get ambushed. Before I call them, I want you to answer a few questions for me." Lelouch said before revealing his Geass.
Zangetsu is currently sitting between Ayano and Kallen while Ohgi, Tamaki, and Rai sitting on the opposite seats. Sugiyama, Yoshida, Minami, and Inoue stayed back at the base in case something happened.
"Man, how long is this gonna take?" Tamaki grumbled, being in his grumpy mood as usual while Ohgi and Kallen remained silent.
"Tamaki, do you really think that we're going to meet them soon? Some may think they're lazy, but they're quite caution about their location." Zangetsu said.
"It sound like you know them." Ohgi said.
"I do."
This earned surprised looks from Kallen, Tamaki, Rai, and Ohgi though Ayano faked hers. She know about Kyoto group since she remembered them when she was young.
"Wait, for real?!"
"Is that true, Zangetsu?!"
"Correct, and if my suspicions are correct, we're dealing with that very same man." Zangetsu said.
The Black Knight members look shocked before the car jolted. This surprised them a great deal, feeling as if the car was being moved upward rather than forward, thus confusing them. It was after it stopped and the driver opened the door that they all removed themselves from the vehicle.
The sight before them took away their breaths. Tamaki, eyes wide in shock and awe, ran over and looked out the window, seeing the Britannian settlement far off in the distance.
"You gotta be shittin' me! This is Mount. Fuji!"
"It can't be…" Ayano said with disbelief. "How could they do this?"
"Unbelievable… we're this far out?"
"It has to be. Those are the Fuji mines, right?"
"This is the same thing that started this damn war! You know what they do to trespassers here? They execute them!"
"To think that the Kyoto group's influence extended this far… It's amazing!" Ohgi said.
"It's disgusting." Zangetsu said as this made Kallen, Ohgi, Tamaki, and Minami looks surprised and shocked at their leader.
"It used to be a sacred place of divinity. Now look at it, stripped of its purity and twisted to becoming a pawn of the Empire. It's nothing more than an abomination." Zangetsu said.
The window became black, and the room was dimly lit. Everyone whirled around to see two men in suits and sunglasses with pistols in their hand standing on either side of elder man, his face hidden away by a bamboo curtain.
There is no doubt about it... Zangetsu thought.
"You are correct in stating that Fuji had been robbed of its divine right and power, Zangetsu. Forgive me for not showing my face to you, but I am sure you understand. But I cannot trust someone who will not show us their face. Unfortunately, I cannot allow this. To trust you, I must know who you are. Therefore, you will show me your face!" The old man said.
Soon four Burai appeared and aimed their guns at them. Lelouch take out his Melon Lockseed and placed his Sengoku Driver on. He pressed on it.
"MELON!"
Lelouch throws the Melon Lockseed into the air and caught it, "Henshin."
"SOIYA! MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"
Soon Ayano, Kallen, Rai and Ohgi got out their Lockseeds.
"BLUEBERRY!"
"BANANA!"
"BLACK ORANGE!"
"KURUMI!"
"Henshin!"
"SOIYA! BLUEBERRY ARMS! AMENO GOMEN!"
"COME ON! BANANA ARMS! KNIGHT OF SPEAR!"
"SOIYA! BLACK ORANGE ARMS! KURO MICHI ON STAGE!"
"KURUMI ARMS! MISTER KNUCKLEMAN!"
They transformed into Habakiri, Baron, Yami Gaim and Knuckle as they stood ready with Zangetsu.
"So these are the Kamen Riders that I've been hearing about?" the man said. Baron went in front of Zangetsu.
"Don't make us do this, please." Baron said. "Zangetsu has given us power and victory! That should-!"
"Silence! Now, which one of you is Ohgi?"
"T-that's me…" Knuckle answered.
"Mister Kaname, please remove Zangetsu's helmet."
Knuckle shifted, but just as he turn around to see Zangetsu wasn't there anymore.
"Huh? Where did he go!?" Tamaki exclaimed.
Suddenly they heard the cracking sounds as four Burai were disarmed and the two guards were knocked on the floor.
"I'm seriously want to know how he could do that…" Tamaki said, looking dumbfounded.
"I already know who you are…" Zangetsu said before reemerged behind the old man. "Taizo Kirihara, clan chief of Kyoto." He said. "Taizo Kirihara, founder of Kirihara Industry which has monopoly on Sakuradite mine, formerly a key backer of the Kururugi regime. However, when Japan fell, you dodged the tribune as by collaborating with the colonial rulers. Commonly known as Kirihara the Traitor. In reality, you are one of the leaders of the Six Houses of Kyoto, who support resistance group throughout Japan, a double agent… how cliché." He summarized.
The men in suits aimed their guns at him. "Anyone who recognize him must not be allowed to live! Not even you!"
"Enough, both of you!" Kirihara demanded. The guards begrudgingly nodded, and slightly lowered their guns.
"Zangetsu… how do you know my name?"
Zangetsu smiled slightly beneath his helmet, his hand moving across his helmet as the helmet retracted.
"It would be hard not to recognize you… Also, I have yet to repay my debt to you, Kirihara-dono… for looking after me and my sister." Lelouch said with a smile.
Once the mask was removed, everyone was able to see Lelouch's face clearly. Tamaki's jaw hit the ground while Knuckle, Habakiri, Yami Gaim and Baron seemed surprised that he would willingly to reveal himself.
The guards immediately raised their guns once again upon seeing that Zangetsu was a Britannian, however…
Everyone looked at Kirihara, who had begun to chuckle before it became a full-blown laugh. "I see now! So the flower from eight years ago has bloomed at last?" Kirihara crackled as he remembered Lelouch and Nunnally staying with the Kururugi family years ago.
"Indeed, it has, Kirihara-dono." Lelouch answered. "Now, once again I come before you, asking for your help again… to fight against Britannia and save the world."
The guards, upon seeing that Lelouch and Kirihara had a history, lowered their weapons and stood back. Tamaki looks straight at Knuckle with serious expression.
"So you know he was a Britannian the whole time!?" Tamaki exclaimed, pointed accursing at him. Knuckle nodded nervously.
"Y-Yeah… I did say that whether he is Britannian or Japanese, we can trust him." Knuckle reminded them.
"He wasn't the only one," Baron admit.
"We all did." Habakiri said. Yami Gaim nodded.
"What!?" Tamaki give a comically look at the Riders in shock.
"Ohgi!"
"Y-yes sir!" Knuckle said.
"This man is a true enemy of Britannian. He hid his face from you all, and for good reasons! Should they know his face, they will target not only him, but also those closest to him, the Black Knights included! That is why his face must be hidden! I urge you to follow Zangetsu. If you do, we shall supply you with medical aid, financial support, weaponry, and intelligence." Kirihara said.
Everyone's eyes widened when they heard this. Knuckle smiled gratefully, bowing his head in respect.
"T-Thank you!" Knuckle said.
"Are you embarking on path of blood?" Kirihara asked.
"Indeed. Since it my duty as the One Authorized by the Divine Providence." Lelouch said before placing his helmet back on.
(In the E.U.)
Akito is quietly waiting outside of the hallway due to Leila being in another meeting with the Senate right now. He soon heard an explosion from outside along with a bestial roar as he spotted a massive and dangerous looking Inves with features of a deer.
"Something to pass the time." Akito said before he turns and starts running down the hallway.
Leila opened the door after the meeting was done and sighed, "I hope you didn't wait-" Leila noticed Akito wasn't around and saw him ran through the hallway. "Lt. Hyuga?" Leila looks confused.
Akito got out the building and noticed the Berserker Shika Inves taken out couple of soldiers by firing flame at them and many people flee from the sight.
Soon the Shika Inves noticed him before trying to crush him with its fist, but Akito jumps out of the way before observed the area as he look back at the Inves.
It seem that the security cameras are destroyed, works for me… Akito thought before taking out his Sengoku Driver and placed on his waist. He then picked up one of the fallen soldiers' firing gun and start shooting at the Inves.
Though it won't affect the Inves, but Akito doesn't want to fight it in a place where his commander would get in cross-fire and start running from the place immediately.
Meanwhile Leila got out of the building, seeing Akito leading the Inves from the building with shocked expression. "What is Lt. Hyuga doing?"
The Berserker Inves followed Akito out of the place and try to throws a car at Akito. But Akito jumps out of the way before getting his Silver Lockseed out.
"SILVER!"
Suddenly a Crack form above Akito as his Silver Arms descend down from it before Akito placed the Lockseed into the Driver.
"LOCK ON!"
Leila who finally catch up to the scene before she stop and her eyes widen in shock, "W-what is that above his head?" Leila asked, confused.
"Henshin…" Akito said before pushing down the Cutting Blade.
"SOIYA! SILVER ARMS! HAKUGIN NEW STAGE!"
The Silver Arms land on his head and shoulders before he transformed into Kamuro and held the Souginjou in his hand.
Leila gasped in shock. He… He is a Kamen Rider!?
Kamuro says nothing as he quickly charged before the Berserker Inves try to punch him and Kamuro jumps on its arm as he making his way toward the face. He then slashing the head multiple times. This cause the Berserker Inves let out a cried in the air before Kamuro jumps backward and land perfect on the ground.
The Shika Inves breathe flame at him, but Kamuro ran and dodge the flame before flipping a few times. While in mid-air from flip, Kamuro kicked the Inves in the face before stabbed its eye as well.
Soon Kamuro pushed down his Cutting Blade twice.
"SOIYA! SILVER AU LAIT!"
Kamuro soon leap into the air as his leg glowing with bright energy as he came down with a Rider Kick. After his leg came in contact with the Souginjou, the Shika Inves scream as silver cracks forming within its body before not only breaking up but exploded as well.
Kamuro lands on the ground with his Souginjou in his hand as he looking at the moon.
Leila, who saw the whole fight, was, for the first time, speechless. She know Akito was hiding something, but THIS isn't what she have in mind. She had no idea Akito can do that or what power he possesses. She had no idea of what to make of him until…
"How did you enjoy the show, Commander Malkal?" Kamuro asked, knowing Leila hiding.
'When did he-?' Leila mentally questioned.
Kamuro soon closed his Lockseed before taking it out revert Akito back to his original form. "I knew you were there since the start of fight." He answered as if he was reading her mind.
"You may be my commander but you are also predictable. Now, come out here. I'm not mad or anything." Akito said before gesturing her to come out.
Leila just sighed before came out from hiding spot and approaching Akito. She looked at him, more specifically at his Driver. She never seen something advance like that.
"If you knew that I was here earlier then why didn't you say so earlier?" Leila asked.
"I had much more pressing issues to deal with." Akito said, pointing at the spot where Shika Inves exploded.
"What was that… thing?" Leila asked. She know Akito is a Kamen Rider, but the creature he was fighting is something she never seen before.
"An Inves, an infested demon not of this world." Akito answered.
Leila sighed before adopt a serious look on her face. "Lt. Hyuga, as your superior, I demand a full explanation for this." Leila ordered.
"But let's head back to the base and I will tell you. However, one you hear what I have to revealed, there's no backing out. You'll be involved in this as much as I am." Akito warned.
Leila thought about it, sure Akito's warning did sound scary but she wanted answers plus she was worried for Akito's wellbeing after find out he is a Kamen Rider.
"I accept. But I expect you to hold the end of your bargain." Leila said as she and Akito left the scene immediately.
Unknown to both of them, two hooded figures watching them from afar after Kamuro destroyed the Berserker Inves.
"So that Rider is the one Lord Jam want to eliminate." The taller hooded figure said. "Shouldn't we just take him out now?"
"I am not sure… but Lord Jam mention that there is something different about him, we need to move carefully." The smart hooded figure said before playing around with a Lockseed with acorn picture on it.
The two hooded figures nodded before they left the scene immediately.

"W-What in the world is this place…?" Leila asked in completely shock and disbelief at the ruins.
"Rivalz?" Lelouch asked through the phone before he heard laughing. "Who are you and what the hell have you done with Rivalz!?" he demanded.
"Ooh, I like it! The scary face!" Mao started.
"SODA~! CHERRY ENERGY ARMS!"
"You can call me… Genesis Rider Sigurd." The new Rider introduced himself.
"What the hell is that Driver and Lockseed!?" Ryugen exclaimed in shock.
