Toa Solaric: I don't own either Code Geass or Kamen Rider Zangetsu! How is it going, everyone? It's been a while since I've updated this story in a while. Though this chapter will be quite different from the previous since it will focused on Rai and what's going on back in Japan.

Ch17: Rai's new resolve! From Black to Orange!
It was another night after what happens that day, Rai slept to wait for the next day to happen. It was raining today, but something about this was something he didn't want.
"Don't go… Mom… Dad… Stella…" Rai muttered in his sleep. Rai is currently turned and tossed in his bed until the loud sound of thunder boom causing him to wake up from his sleep.
"NOOO!" Rai sat up from his bed very quickly, cold sweat running down his face and shirt and he was breathing heavily. The silver hair teen began to wipe off the sweat, trying to stop it.
"Again…" Rai muttered. "Why are these visions haunting me…?"
Then he saw the flash of thunder, making him look out the window. "The storm… it like the one in my dream." He muttered as he looked at it. He laid back down trying to get some sleep as he slowly closed his eyes trying not to think about the nightmare. "No more… please…" he muttered.
Unknown to Rai, there was a shimmer appear in his room as the blonde hair woman that Lelouch and Orpheus encounter before appears in his room.
She then looks at Rai who seem to try to get some sleep despite being bother by the storm. The blonde hair woman approached his side and caress his cheek gentle as it somehow calm him down.
"You can still get out of this before it too late." The blonde hair woman said softly.
"Please don't leave me…" Rai pleaded in his sleep.
Soon the blonde hair woman sighed before she turned away and vanished completely into thin air.

(Instrument) The song begins with a full view of ruin building in Japan before the scene started with a ruined building with Zangetsu standing watching over the Tokyo settlement when the sun is set before the entire scene was replaced with the title.
Kodoku ni yureteru Emotion
The scene began with Lelouch yawning as he lying on the school yard as he thought about his past before Ayano appeared behind him which caused a scene of him being chased by Ayano around.
Itsu demo jidai no hadō ni nomikomarete
Unknown to them, Orpheus was chuckled at the scene with amusing before he and Akito spotted each other. The two stares at each other before they went on their separated paths with their Lockseeds in their hands.
Samayotteta setsunai kokoro
In his room, Rai holds tightly on the black Orange Lockseed tightly as a memories of young girl flash in his mind. Soon the screen turns toward Yami Gaim and he holds tightly on his Daidaimaru while looking at the viewers.
Just One Nation kizanderu I.D.
The scene changes to Helheim forest and shows Jam with dark aura.
Doko e mo ikenai jibun ga
Suddenly the scene changes to Japan starts being covered by Helheim forest and Inves began their invasion. This cause many civilian began to start run for their life, though Britannian soldiers try to fight against Inves, but they soon got overwhelm by the number of the creatures of in the forest.
Modokashikute kuyashikatta
Soon the scene changes to the Black Knight headquarter as the operative members monitor event going on.
Sore demo yume ni miteta
As the Inves got closed to them, Lelouch and his fellow Riders got out their Drivers. They soon locked their Lockseeds into their Drivers before they transformed and charge into battle.
Haruka tōku taiyō no shizumu oto ga suru
The Lancelot Club is seen race across the field while taking out large Inves and Britannia Knightframes at the same. Soon the scene focused on Zangetsu running at incredible speed slashing through Britannian soldiers and Inves alike while explosions occur around him.
Ano basho e yukō Sekai no hate made
Suddenly he becomes Zangetsu-Shin before getting out his Sonic Arrow and deliver a powerful slash to destroy an unknown Knightframe.
Dare yori tsuyoku naritai Jibun rashiku aru tame Dare ni mo yuzurenai Passion Ashita wo ikiru tame
Habakiri did a spin slash with her dual katanas; Ryugen firing several shots with his gun; Baron spins her Banaspear and thrust it forward; Kurokage spins his weapon; Knuckle pounced his Kurumi Bombers together.
GET MY FUTURE shinjitai michi wo Hitasura hashireba ii Mirai wo kirihiraku Action Tatakau yūki wo Kono mune ni daite
Soon an Britannia airship dropped bombs on the city and caused the Riders to struggle in pain until Zangetsu-Shin shows up and destroyed it with his Finisher. The scene changes when Zangetsu-Shin and Jam spotted each other before they clashed with each other as sparks flying everywhere.
To Be Free
The scene change to Lelouch and Ayano were walking together, then they turned around facing the screen, then it zooms out revealing Rai, Kallen, Nunnally, Orpheus and Akito along with several members of Black Knights.
On the next day in Ashford Academy, Rai is seen walking into the classroom before seeing Kallen sitting by her desk in lonesome.
The two haven't talk to each other after what happened on that day when Tyrant attacked them. Rai knows what happened on that day was his fault after he thought about it. He then slowly approach Kallen without saying anything yet.
"H-Hey there Kallen-"
"Go away." Those two words causes some heart broke in the silver hair teen as the redhair girl looking away from him.
"But Kallen, I…" Rai tries before Kallen choose to ignore him and this causes further sadness to the silver hair teen.
Am I really that bad as a friend…? Rai thought with sad expression.
"Whoa, I never seen her like that." A familiar voice caused Rai turns to see Rivalz with surprised expression, coming into the classroom. "Did something happened between you two?"
"It was hard to explain, Rivalz." Rai said, looking away from the blue hair teen. He hope that Rivalz won't ask furthers about it.
Rivalz wasn't sure what happened, but he can tell something must happened between Rai and Kallen as it affect them more than usual…
He then remember what he want to talk with the two members of the Student Council right now.
"Anyway, Madam Presid call forth a meeting about something she discover and want you two come later." Rivalz said.
Rai nodded before the two boys soon sat down in their seats before the teacher come into class and class is in session.
Rough around the same time, classes starting in Ashford Academy… a meeting is currently being taken place held by Todoh and his Four Holy Sword.
"Looks like the Black Knights made quite a name for themselves." Urabe comment, reading the newspaper.
"Who the hell is he?" Asahina practically hissed, "Someone like him can't have just appeared from nowhere!"
"Asahina made a point." Senba said. "For all we know, he could be an agent of the Chinese Federation or the Euro Universe."
"At the moment, there is no evidences of him connected to either Chinese Federation or E.U. since he doesn't followed any of their characterized from his previous raids." Chiba reluctantly admit.
"Chiba have a point. He can't be from either of them." Todoh said.
"Though I wonder how they got their armors… Even though the fruit theme is a bit strange, you know." Urabe said.
"Not to mention these strange creatures known as Inves." Todoh added. There is still a lot of mystery surrounding the Black Knights.
"I have to agree with you that they look strange, but they have power unlike anything we heard of." Chiba said.
"I bet they dance over their victory because of them…" Asahina grumble.
Todoh looks at his fellow Sword member. "What is it about Zangetsu and his orders that bothers you so much?" Todoh asked curiously, "No prevaricating or avoiding my question if you please."
Asahina sighed. "We've been fighting the Britannians for seven years. We've fought and bled for our country, losing comrades in the struggle… and this poser in a melon suit wanders in and starts acting like he's such a big shot!"
'Jealously, pure and simple.' Todoh concluded with another sigh.
Even if the clues points to him, I still refused to believe that Lelouch could be the infamous Zangetsu… It doesn't making any sense! Todoh thought to himself. He remember how often he offered the young boy some self-defense, but the young arrogant brat declined them before going to dotting his sister. It take him and a granddaughter of old friend to drag him to training. But he still refused to believe the white samurai could be him. There is no way someone unfitted and unskilled like Lelouch could be Zangetsu!
Meanwhile in E.U., a certain raven hair revolutionist have a dark aura and killing intent radiation from him despite the people around him being clueless. For some reason, Lelouch felt like someone is mocking him about something in the past.
"There is no way… it can't be him." Todoh muttered. But unknown to the Miracle worker, he will get a surprising visited in from of his old student in the future.
(Back in Ashford Academy)
After class, Rai and others head to the meeting room where Milly seems to be excited about something.
"What is going on?" Rivalz asked as he took his seat next to others.
"Take a look at what I discovery!" Milly said as she playing a video.
On the screen shows an armor warrior in a blue Ride Wear suit that sported silver armor on his forearms, shins and thighs. His armor looks similar to the Kiwi Arms, but it yellow and resembled lemon. His helmet looks like knight with triangular grille over a yellow visor. The attached headpiece was yellow with a spike protruding from the top. In his right hand was a rapier with a yellow guard.
From the looks of the footage, this came from a camera and a bystander saw all of this. It looked like the mystery Rider fighting against three Inves with his rapier alone.
The mystery Rider soon thrust the rapier forward before impaled the Inves easily. It wasn't long until the mystery Rider turns into yellow blur and vanished into thin air.
"T-There is another Rider?" Rai asked, looking surprised and shocked.
Suzaku was surprised by the scene as well. "Where was this taking?" Suzaku asked. "Judging by the film, it looks like somewhere not far from here."
Kallen have a similar expression on her face identical to Rai despite being in her sickly mode in school. "No way…"
"That is what we're going to do! Finding out who exactly he is!" Milly said happily.
"And how can we will be sure if he is friendly?" Rivalz asked, nervous as he looking at the video in front of them.
"I'm kinda of agree with Rivalz here." Suzaku said.
"But this make the search a bit more interesting!" Milly said with ethnically.
At the same time, the screen in front of them turning gray and haywire immediately.
"Huh? What in the world is going on?" Suzaku asked, confused before he going to check the television.
"EEEEEKKKKK!" A feminine scream can be hears and everyone turns around to see Milly reacting very weirding.
"Milly, what is going on?!" Shirley questioned.
"T-There is something in my panties!" Milly exclaimed, causing people jaw dropped before she let out another scream again.
"Say what…?" Rivalz asked, confused.
"H-How is that possible…?" Suzaku asked.
Shirley then looks at the males in the room. "Guys, I want you to leave immediately! Us girls are going to help Madam Presid"
Rivalz, Suzaku and Rai understand what Shirley means by her serious look. But Rai turns around and see a cat hiding out of the door.
Was that Arthur just now…? Rai thought curious.
(Black Knights' headquarter)
"A new Rider appeared already?" Ohgi asked, trying to writing his reports in absence of the Black Knights' leader.
"Alright! We do what we can on our side!"
After the meeting, Kallen is finishing telling Ohgi and others about the situation as they agreed on helping her located this Rider wherever he was hiding.
"Kallen, wait!" a familiar voice caused Kallen turns around and seeing Rai coming toward her.
"What do you want?" Kallen asked with stoic expression.
"Kallen, I want you to know… that I am so sorry about what happened before and I regret about what happened. I promised that I won't be reckless like that again." Rai apologized.
Kallen's expression is still stoic as she stares at him, anger evident in her blue eyes.
"Just let me helping you with the search. Please… just trust me." Rai pleaded. "Please trust me, Kallen. I missed being friends with you…"
"Tell me, Rai? What are you going to do after you regain your memories?" Kallen asked, still holding her stoic expression. "Are you going to deserted Japan and search for your family? The Black Knights fought back to gain a place where Japanese won't be look down upon by Britannia, what about you? Why did you want to fight for?"
This left Rai have a clueless expression on his face.
"… I don't know."
"If you want to apology, then tell me why you should continue fighting." Kallen pointed out before leaving the area.
Orpheus is currently review over the clip about the mystery Rider that he stole disc as a cat from Ashford Academy. As for why Orpheus was in Ashford? He was checking on Nunnally while Lelouch and Ayano are away on business in the E.U. and he ends up overheard the conversation as a cat.
Orpheus watching how the Lemon theme Rider fought with a sword alone and studied his fighting style against the Inves.
"Still a novice…" Orpheus comment.
Then he focused his thought about Rai and Kallen. Their relationship haven't improved after their rough encountered against Tyrant from few days ago. If this continued, the Black Knights might end up being ruined in a few days.
Orpheus then takes up the ID card with Tyrant symbol on it and looks at it.
What could this card means? Orpheus thought to himself. Judging by how Tyrant behavior, he can't believe how careless of her dropping her own card.
Orpheus then thought about that place back in Helheim forest. Though the idea might be consider insanity and suicide.
"There is no way to know if it work unless we try." Orpheus said to himself. But he should take some precaution just in case.
Rai soon start walking himself to the park and thinking over what Kallen says.
"Why did I want to fight?" Rai muttered to himself.
He soon snapped out of thought when he hears the sound of screams not far from where he was, Rai turns around and see couple Elementary Inves emerging in the park.
"Inves!" Rai said before taking out his Black Orange Lockseed.
Suddenly the memories of encounter with Tyrant causes the white hair teen to shiver. "Why…? Why I am still scared of that?" he muttered.
"Rai, look out!" a familiar voice shout, causing Rai to see Rivalz pushed him down to the ground when the Elementary Inves about to attack him.
"Rai, are you alright?" Rivalz asked to his friend.
"I am fine… but you need to get out of here…" Rai pleaded.
Rivalz then look up to stares at the Inves with a serious expression.
"Sorry, but not this time…." Rivalz respond before he pulled something unexpected out of his pocket— Sengoku Driver!
"No way…" Rai muttered with disbelief and shock. "Rivalz, but how!?"
"We will talk later." Rivalz said before delivering a flip kick to force the Inves back and getting out a Lemon Lockseed.
"LEMON!"
Soon a Crack opened above them and a large metallic lemon appeared from above.
Rivalz then did a small movement before saying with a smirk across his face, "Let's… Henshin!"
He pushing down the Cutting Blade of his Driver.
"COME ON!"
Soon the Lemon Arms descend down upon Rivalz's shoulders before morphing his blue bodysuit and the Lemon Arms changed into armors.
"LEMON ARMS! INCREDIBLE RYOMA!"
"You are…" Rai muttered in disbelief and amazing at the same time.
"Remember this…" the new Rider declared, doing a stance. "I am Kamen Rider Vis~count!"
The lemon theme Rider takes out his sword, the Lemon Rapier before charging forward and start slashing against the Elementary Inves. He land furious hits on the Elementary Inves as they rolling across the ground when he went passed by.
Unknown to them, a shadow is watching the fight on the close rooftop.
Suddenly a Shikai Inves got him from behind by grabbing him from behind. Instead of panicking, this only made Viscount angry.
"Get the fuck off me!" Viscount shout.
He soon running backward and slammed the Inves hard behind the tree. Viscount soon saw the Elementary Inves coming toward him from afar before he pushed down his Cutting Blade.
"COME ON! LEMON SQUASH!"
His Lemon Rapier starting glowing with lemon color like energy and goes into a stance similar to Baron did. Viscount waited until the Inves get closer before he unleashed a wave of lemon slices at the Inves and they exploded in the process.
"Look out!" Rai shout.
Viscount turns around in time to dodge the Shikai Inves before thrusting the blade through the Inves's chest as the creature exploded in process.
"Rivalz…" Viscount turns around and looks at Rai who seem to bewilder and looking disbelief at what his friend just done.
Viscount closed the Lockseed of his Driver and return to his original form before offering a hand to his friend as he helped him up.
"Rivalz, how did you—" Rai was about to finished, but Rivalz puts a hand to halt his question.
"This isn't a good place to explains," Rivalz said with a serious expression. "I know a place we can talk privately."
Rai followed Rivalz into the house and he looks a bit disbelief.
"Y-You originally live here…?" Rai asked, looking surprised.
"Yeah before I came to Ashford Academy, I live here with my gramp." Rivalz said before calling out to the hallway. "Hey gramp, I am showing my friend around the place."
"Just don't broke anything like last time, Rivalz!" an elder male voice shout back from the hallway.
"Come on." Rivalz gestured Rai to followed him up the stairs case and then gone to what looks like his room.
After Rai looks around the room before seeing Rivalz looks back at him and he spoke up again. "Rivalz, why did you become a Rider? Don't you know how dangerous is picking one after being kidnapped by one?" Rai asked, thinking back to the previous encounter against Sigurd.
"I know… It was something I don't even want to remember since that guy want to use me against Lelouch." Rivalz said. "But I don't want to be in the same situation ever again… especially I don't want my friends get hurt again…"
"But where did you get the belt and Lockseed?" Rai inquired.
"That is the weird part…" Rivalz said, looking uncomfortable. "It happened a few days ago and I received a strange package and it was sent by my father."
"Your father…?" Rai asked, raised an eyebrow.
"You see… my father passed away a few years ago in Britannia army as a scientist." Rivalz explained. "I thought it was strange… but that is how I discovery the belt and Lemon Lockseed."
"But it doesn't mean you should wear the belt. You don't know much about the real mess going on…" Rai retorted.
"Like there is a fight between you and Kallen?" Rivalz asked. This made Rai become quiet immediately.
"I was right, that something did happens between you two. What did happened…?" Rivalz asked.
"I made a mistake in fight… and Kallen have been angry at me for days." Rai answered sadly.
"Well, have you try to make up with her?" Rivalz asked.
"I try… but Kallen think that I would hold everyone back." Rai continued. "Is she right? Am I not even worthy being consider a Kamen Rider?"
"You know… I always thought that I know Lelouch… my best friend, but I can't help but fooled myself because I didn't know the pain he have to endure. Some best friend that I turned out to be when I can't even help him." Rivalz said with hint of bitter.
"Is that why you want to become a Rider? To stand beside Lelouch?" Rai asked.
"I want to protect everyone at Ashford Academy." Rivalz said, surprising Rai. "If I know Lelouch like I do, he won't want his friends at Ashford Academy being in the Black Knights… That is why I want to protected the place where everyone belongs and made memories."
"…" Rai looks completely surprised at Rivalz and his reason of being a Rider.
"Isn't that same as what Black Knights want?" Rivalz asked to Rai. "A place to belong?"
That is the same as Kallen and Lelouch would say. But am I even worthy of fighting for the same goal like them? Rai thought to himself.
Kallen looking around the scene where people mention that there were Inves earlier and see a bit of struggle here.
But who is this mystery Lemon theme Rider…? Kallen thought as she explored around the area.
Kallen takes out her cellphone and opens it.
"Naomi, did you find something?" Kallen asked quiet.
"After accessing the camera, I believed that I find the lead about your mystery new Rider…" Naomi answered before explains to the red head.
This made Kallen's eyes wide in shock. Of all of the people it would have to be Rider, it would have to be someone like him.
"I see… I will handle this myself and retrieved the Driver myself." Kallen said with serious expression.
"But what about Rai?" Naomi asked.
The thought about the silver hair teen made Kallen's expression turns cold. "We don't need him. Rai won't be much of help to us." Kallen stated cold.
Within what looks like a lab, Lloyd is currently watching the clips of the fighting between the Kamen Riders. Though the white hair scientist is depressed about the testing of his beloved Lancelot, he is still fascination by the technology that the Rider used even since he saw Zangetsu.
"What would I give to know your secrets…?" Lloyd muttered, wishful thought.
"Do you really want to know their secret?" a voice causing Lloyd to turns around and seeing Sagara sitting on a chair next to his table.
"And who am I speaking with?" Lloyd asked.
"Just someone who passing through," Sagara answered. "I heard you are interesting in secrets behind their power, correct?"
"Yes, I do." Lloyd said. "Then I assumed you know something about them, correct?"
"Indeed. I do and that is why I want you have this." Sagara offered something to the scientist right now.
Lloyd opened the parchment which revealed to be a blueprint and an Energy Lockseed with Lemon theme on it. "This is interesting…" Lloyd said in awe.
"You like it?" Sagara asked. "The Genesis Driver have the input that could surpassed normal Sengoku Driver."
"So what is the catch, sir?" Lloyd asked. He knows the man won't offered something as valuable as a blueprint for no reason.
This made Sagara chuckled.
"You see… I want you do something for me."
(With Rai)
Rai sit by himself at a nearby building and thinking about Rivalz and his resolve as a Rider. He can't help feeling a bit envy of Rivalz because he have something to achieve when it comes to be a Rider.
The silver hair teen then looking up into the sky before taking out his Driver and Black Orange Lockseed.
"Maybe I never have any resolves like Lelouch and others in being a Rider…" Rai looking at them with sad expression. "I don't have what it takes to be a real one like them."
"You really being hard on yourself after what happened with your friend, Rai." Rai turns around and see Sagara walking toward him.
"W-Who are you…?" Rai asked.
"You can call me Sagara." Sagara introduced himself before sitting down next to him. "I have one question to ask you. Why do you want the power of Sengoku Driver in the first place?"
"At first I am not sure… but I was drawn to this Driver as if I am familiar with it." Rai said, looking at his Driver.
"When I keep using it… I start to gain visions of what my past might be… but the same time I have to endure much pain to obtain these memories." He continued but in a weak voice.
"So what made you decide to stop using it?" Sagara asked.
"Because the visions starting become terrible… I am scared. If I keep wearing that Driver, I will ends up having more nightmare." Rai answered. "I did nothing significant while everyone is fighting for something important to them... That is why Kallen won't be my friend again."
"Are you really certainly about that?" Sagara asked. "Because it seems to me that she cared about your welling-being than putting you into the struggle of Black Knight... after all, you did saved her mother who she thought to abandoned, remember?"
The silver hair teen remembers how the redhead went up to her mom who under the influence of Refrain and trying to apologized her countless times.
"How can you be sure…?" Rai asked, looking uncertainly at Sagara. This made Sagara laughed.
"There is no risk of asking her yourself. You can't go through life without risk." Sagara said before taking out something from his pocket and dropped them onto Rai's side.
Rai looks at the two items next to him which made his eyes wide in surprised. The first one looks like an Energy Lockseed but with a lemon symbol on it and the second object is a Genesis Core.
"What are-?"
"If you wants to find Kallen, then I suggested you seeking out your friend Rivalz." Sagara said.
Suddenly Rai immediately realized what Sagara meant before taking the items into his pocket and getting up from the ground. He looks back at Sagara, but he didn't find the person anywhere.
"Hang on… Rivalz." Rai said.
"Kallen, what did you need to talk with me about?" Rivalz asked, noticing that they are quite far away from any civilians in sight.
Kallen turns around and looks at him with cold expression.
"Cut the catch, Rivalz… no Viscount." Kallen said before taking out her Sengoku Driver. "Hand over your Driver and Lockseed, you can forget all about this."
"Sorry, but I will have to refused. I have to protect those I cared about." Rivalz answered.
"There is one thing I don't like is Britannian having this power…" Kallen said.
"But why Kallen? You are Britannian as well." Rivalz said. "Do we really have to do this? Aren't we fellow classmates?"
"You're wrong! I am Japanese. I won't forgive Britannia for invaded our home." Kallen angrily retorted before placing her Driver around her waist.
"Henshin!"
"BANANA!"
The Crack appeared above her with the metallic banana coming out. Kallen took the time to pose before placing the Lockseed in her Driver and closed it.
"LOCK ON!"
Kallen then immediately pushed down her Cutting Blade to slice her Lockseed.
"COME ON!"
The metallic banana fell on her head before her suit formed.
"BANANA ARMS! KNIGHT OF SPEAR!"
The armor unfolded and her Banaspear appeared in her hand. "I give you one chance of hand it over… Rivalz."
Rivalz sighed before making a decision and placing his Driver around his waist.
"LEMON!"
His Crack appeared and opened before dropping his giant lemon. Rivalz goes locked his Lockseed into his Driver.
"LOCK ON!"
Rivalz then goes into his pose before pushing down his Cutting Blade and saying, "Let's… Henshin!"
"COME ON!"
The Lemon Arms descend down on his head, donning him in his suit as Viscount.
"LEMON ARMS! INCREDIBLE RYOMA!"
The armor unfolded and his rapier appeared in his hand. The two Riders stare intently at each other as they waited for others to make the move.
Soon the two Riders charging at each other immediately as their weapons collided with each other and sparks flying in the air. When Viscount about to thrust the Lemon Rapier at Baron, but Baron spins her Banaspear into a shield to block the attack before Baron delivered a shoulder tackle against Viscount and send him flying to the wall.
"Oww… that hurt…" Viscount groan before trying to get up. "Do you really don't cared about the time we spend in Ashford and Student Council?" He asked.
Baron then charges at him, but Viscount brought up his Lemon Rapier to protect himself from Baron's Banaspear.
"I won't deny that I might find you less annoying." Baron said. "But you don't know the risk of accepting the power…!"
Viscount dodged most of Baron's attacks before being slashed on the side. Baron then jabbed him in the stomach and made him flying across the ground.
"Just give up the belt… or this will be less painful!" Baron shout before kicking the life out of Viscount as he was down on the ground. Suddenly Rai arrive on the scene.
"Kallen! Rivalz!" Rai shout, running toward the scene. "Please stop…!"
Baron grabbed Viscount and tossed him aside then she turned around and notices him.
"Never expected you to show up." Baron said. "But I have nothing to say to someone who is useless like you…!"
"D-Don't call my friend useless…!" Viscount shout before charging at her with his Lemon Rapier.
But Baron dodged the attack and kicked him from behind as Viscount tumbling across the floor.
"Kallen! Please stop this!" Rai pleaded.
Baron was going to finished Viscount before she got struck by an arrow from behind as Tyrant descend down from above.
"You…" Baron growl angrily.
"No way…" Viscount uttered, noticing the Genesis Driver on her waist.
"It looks like there is more to eliminate." Tyrant respond coldly, wielding her Sonic Arrow before charging forward at them.
But Baron got up and charge forward to blocking the incoming attack from Tyrant until she got send backward with a downward slash from Tyrant. Before Tyrant can finished her off, but Viscount attack her from the side and slashed her on the shoulder but the attack didn't do much damage to a Genesis Rider like Tyrant.
"You guys, get out of there! You can't win against them!" Rai shout.
Viscount struggling to get himself up before Tyrant step hard on his back. "I can't give up… I made a promise that I have to keep…" Viscount said.
"Get away from him!" Baron shout, charging at her with her Banaspear. But it wasn't long until Tyrant knocked her aside and sending her pummeling to the wall.
"COME ON! LEMON SQUASH!"
Suddenly lemon slicers struck Tyrant from the side and made her looks at the struggling Viscount.
"I admit that you still have the strength to keep going, but this will end for you." Tyrant said.
Why does Rivalz keeping pushing himself…? He will be down if this continued… Rai thought.
(Flashback)
"Is that why you want to become a Rider? To stand beside Lelouch?" Rai asked.
"Not only that. I want to protect everyone at Ashford Academy." Rivalz said, surprising Rai. "If I know Lelouch like I do, he won't want his friends at Ashford Academy being in the Black Knights… That is why I want to protected the place where everyone belongs and made memories."
(Present)
Rai gritting his teeth in angry before he looks at the scene and clenched his fist really hard.
"I can't watch this anymore…!" Rai said before he got out his Sengoku Driver, much to everyone's surprised.
"You fool! Get out of here!" Baron shout.
"Shut up! I am tired of being a coward! This time I fighting for something selfish! That is protecting my friends!" Rai argued angrily. This reaction caused Baron to become quiet now.
Rai looks at the Driver in his hands before he felt the memories of his past trying to hurt him again. If he is going to fight again, he is going to fight not only for others but for himself. Regardless of how much he have to endure.
"Rai… you…" Viscount whispered.
"Hang on, buddy…." Rai said with a smirk before placing his Driver on his waist. Then he takes out his Lockseed.
"BLACK ORANGE!"
His Crack appeared with his metallic orange as he did his pose. Rai then placed his Lockseed in before locking it inside.
"LOCK ON!"
The standby music was playing from his Driver as Tyrant ready to finished Viscount.
"Henshin!" Rai shout before pushing down his Cutting Blade.
"SOIYA!"
Soon Rai charge forward while his Black Orange Arms descend down and forms his armor as Yami Gaim. He brought up his Musou Saber and collided with Tyrant's Sonic Arrow before the two struggles until bright orange light happening between them.
"W-what is this light?" Tyrant questioned, feeling the heat from the orange light become more intense than before.
The intense orange light transfer into Yami Gaim before he let out a roar into the air and knocking the Sonic Arrow away. He then slashing Tyrant who seems to be blind by the orange light and sending her stagger away.
"Rai…" Baron whispered.
Suddenly the unexpected thing happened to Yami Gaim as his black armor and black bodysuit starting shatter. His bodysuit starting turning dark blue bodysuit. On his arms and legs were golden bracers and leg covering which added extra protection. Orange energy gathering into his Daidaimaru before the blade become pure orange itself. His Black Orange Arms turns into the colors of orange itself. His helmet become dark blue as well and the sword decoration on his forehead is gold. Samurai-like helmet decoration turns orange.
"Everyone…" the new colored rider said before his visor turns orange, like the orange slices.
"SOIYA ORANGE ARMS! HANAMICHI ON STAGE!"
Both Viscount and Baron was surprised and awed, especially Baron in awe of his suddenly changes.
"Who… in the world are you?!" Tyrant questioned angrily.
"I am…. Kamen Rider Gaim! This… is my Stage now!" Waves of orange aura coming from his body as he stated and dash towards the female Genesis Rider without hesitant.
Unknown to him, Sagara is watching him on the rooftop.
"It won't be long until pieces come together… for the battle of ultimate prize." Sagara chuckled.
Tyrant got herself up in time to stop Gaim's Daidaimaru but Gaim brought up his Musou Saber and fired several shots at Tyrant in the chest, sending her flying backward.
Viscount got himself back up from the ground while Gaim reached out his hand for Baron who stares at him quietly.
"Are you alright?" Gaim asked.
"We're in this together!" Viscount said.
"There is no way for someone with a Sengoku Driver can even compete against a Genesis Rider!" Tyrant argued as she regained her Sonic Arrow. "Get them!" Suddenly emerging out of the shadow of alley are Kurokage Troopers along with Inves.
Gaim, Baron, and Viscount start fighting against the mob of Kurokage Troopers and Inves. Tyrant was about to places her Dragonfruit Energy Lockseed into her Sonic Arrow before she spotted a large shadow coming from above.
"CHERRY ENERGY SQUASH!"
Tyrant jump out of the side as Sigurd descend to the ground and make an impact that knocked other Kurokage Troopers and Inves aside.
"That is-" Baron uttered before she saw Sigurd starting fighting against the other Genesis Rider right now.
"Don't worry, he is on our side!" Viscount said before focusing slashing on the Kurokage Troopers.
"Who the hell are you!?" Tyrant questioned, struggling against the other Genesis Rider.
"Someone you shouldn't concerns!" Sigurd countered before slashing with his Sonic Arrow as he using the weapon like a sword.
Soon the two Genesis Riders fought each other before they head into what looks like an abandoned factory. Tyrant fired rapid arrows at Sigurd after jumping backward. But Sigurd dodged them just in time before firing his own Sonic Arrow. Tyrant try to dodge them, but arrows followed her and attacked from behind. She brought up her Sonic Arrow and intercepted Sigurd.
"Hmm… not bad, you are strong." Tyrant comment.
"Don't flatter!" Sigurd retorted as he pushed her away and slashed her chest twice. Then taking out his Lockseed, he locked it in place in his Sonic Arrow.
"LOCK ON~!"
Tyrant did the same as well.
"LOCK ON~!"
Sigurd and Tyrant pulled the shaft of their Sonic Arrows as it was charged with energy. Red and green for Sigurd and dark red resembled a dragon for Tyrant. They released their arrows at the same time, spiraling sphere of red-green energy rushed at the demonic dragon arrow.
"CHERRY/DRAGONFRUIT ENERGY!"
The two attack met with explosive force sending Sigurd and Tyrant to the ground.
"Just give it up! You are outnumber!" Kurokage Trooper said before moving his Kagematsu forward. "Just lied down like foolish dog!"
"Shut up! I will not give up! Tell your leader that I will come for him after what he did to my family!" Gaim shout before brought up his Daidaimaru and slash the Kurokage Trooper in the chest and knocked him backward. "Strength come from those who inspired you to keep moving forward!"
Soon more Kurokage Troopers and Inves coming in their place as Gaim pushed down his Cutting Blade twice.
"SOIYA! ORANGE AU LAIT!"
Gaim got out his Daidaimaru which glow with orange energy and unleashed a powerful slash in the process, causing them to explode in the process.
Soon Gaim saw Viscount having trouble with his enemies before offering assistance to his fellow Rider.
"Are you alright, Viscount?" Gaim asked.
"Y-Yeah…" Viscount said before his tone becoming loud, "Look out!"
Gaim turns around and saw Bull like Inves trying to charge at them before it was impaled by banana like spikes and exploded.
The two Riders look up to see Baron with her Banaspear impaled into the floor.
"Thanks-" Gaim started but Baron interrupted him.
"Don't lost focused!" Baron charges forward and taking down more Inves.
"Let's help her with handle these brawls!" Viscount suggested. Gaim nodded.
The two Riders soon charge forward against the mixed of Kurokage Troopers and Inves at the same time.
Viscount slashing against the Kurokage Troopers and Inves alike with his Lemon Rapier. When he some of them are getting close to him, Viscount pushed down his Cutting Blade.
"COME ON! LEMON SQUASH!"
His Lemon Rapier glowed brightly before he spun around while a hologram of a lemon encased him before the enemies were sent flying.
"There is more coming!" Viscount said before pushed down his Cutting Blade again.
"COME ON! LEMON AU LAIT!"
Soon the Lemon Rapier glowing more brightly and Viscount sent a powerful energy slash which scatter into lemon slices and they struck the enemies in the process.
"Who is next?" Viscount questioned.
"SOIYA! ORANGE SQUASH!"
Gaim unleashed more energy slashes at the Kurokage Troopers and sending them tumbling across the floor as their transformation were undo.
"Damn you!" Gaim turn around and see Baron been dog pilled by both Kurokage Troopers and Inves.
"Hang on, Baron!" Gaim shout before combined his Daidaimaru and Musou Saber to formed the Naginata mode.
"SOIYA! ORANGE AU LAIT!"
Gaim charges forward and jumps into the air before unleashed a double slashes on the Inves and Kurokage Troopers alike, causing them to tumbling out of the way.
Gaim approached Baron before offering his hand to her.
"Are you alright?" Gaim asked.
"What is your resolve of being a Rider?" Baron asked.
"Because I find my resolve of continued fighting." Gaim said. "I want to continue protecting people that I cared about… and protecting the dream of freedom."
"Don't ever do something that dumb again." Baron respond before walking passed him.
"I know…" Gaim muttered. That might not be much, but it will be start of rekindle their friendship once again.
Baron getting out her Mango Lockseed and unlocked it.
"MANGO!"
She then replaced her Banana Lockseed with the Mango Lockseed in the Driver before pushing down the Cutting Blade.
"COME ON! MANGO ARMS! FIGHT OF HAMMER!"
With the Mango Punisher, Baron slams down her weapon at the enemies and sending them flying backward in the process. She swung her hammer around, knocking several enemies down and jammed the butt of her weapon to a downed Kurokage Trooper before smashing the other one who tried to get her from behind.
"Who is next?!" Baron barked before seeing incoming Kurokage Troopers running toward her and pushed down her Cutting Blade.
"COME ON! MANGO SQUASH!"
The Mango Punisher glowed with yellow energy before Baron swung it at them, launching an energy projectile in the shape of Mango Punisher's head. The energy projectile bulldozed through the rank of Kurokage Trooper with ease, sending them flying.
Suddenly two large Berserker Inves crashed into the party and let out a loud roar into the air. Gaim saw that his friends are busy and decided to take care of them by himself.
"I got this…!" Gaim said before taking out his Suika Lockseed.
"SUIKA!"
Suddenly the Suika Arms appeared above his head as Gaim inserted the Lockseed into the Driver and pushed down his Cutting Blade.
"SOIYA! SUIKA ARMS! ODAMA BIG BANG!"
The Suika Arms land on him and convert into mecha mode before Gaim charges forward. The Suika Mecha start slashing them in the process. When one of the Berserker Inves try to swipe its claw at him, but Gaim blocked it with the Suika Sojinto and retaliated by slashing it chest twice with the blade. Then Gaim kicked it away as the other massive Inves trying to attack him. Gaim then throws a punch at the Berserker Inves's face and then processing kicking the Inves to cause it land on its own ally.
"SOIYA! SUIKA AU LAIT!"
Gaim soon spins his Suika Sojinto and entrapped the two Berserker Inves in a familiar green orb like Zangetsu does it. He then spins his weapon as green flames channeling through the weapon before unleashed a slash onto the watermelon like orb and it exploded in the process.
Suddenly Gaim turns around and seeing what looks like a Britannian Knightframe trying to attack him from behind. Gaim moved the mecha out of the way before the Knightframe trying to shoot him in the process and caused an explosion occurs.
Just when the pilot of Knightframe about to laughed, Gaim emerged out of the smoke in his Orange Arms in the air with his Orange Lockseed locked within his Naginata.
"1-0-0-0-0!"
"Haaaahhh…!" Gaim twirled his combined weapon above his head before he slashed it at the Knightframe. "ORANGE CHARGE!"
An orange slice-like energy arc fired from the Musou Naginata's Daidaimaru parted as he slashed with his weapon and cutting through the Knightframe with ease, the large mecha exploded as his attack went through it like a hot knife on butter.
"That was completely unexpected…" Gaim admit. He turned around and see most of the Kurokage Troopers made their way to a Crack before vanishing into thin air. Soon he joins up by Baron and Viscount immediately.
"Man! That was an awesome move!" Viscount said excited. "Where did you learned how to do that?"
"Hehehehe… I did it out of instinct." Gaim said.
But Viscount let out a yelp when Baron pointed her Banaspear at his neck. "But we still can't leave him with his Driver." She stated.
But Gaim got in the way between them as he trying to put down the Banaspear.
"Whoa, take it easy. We can trust him with the Driver, Baron." Gaim said. "He know about us since he got kidnapped once by the previous Sigurd before."
"D-Don't remind me… that guy still scared the crap out of me…" Viscount shuddered.
"W-What? Why wasn't I told about this!?" Baron demands angrily.
"Umm… I forget?" Gaim shrugged.
"Is there anything else you forget to mention…?" Baron questioned threaten. But this made Gaim walk a bit away from her and sweating under the helmet.
"T-There is nothing else…" Gaim said.
"Then why are you walking away?" Baron asked, coming closer.
Suddenly Gaim starts running with Baron chasing him from behind and the two start running in circle as if they are in a cartoon.
"Oh man…" Viscount laughing.
Unknown to them, C.C. is watching the event. She been watching Rai since he made the encounter with that Sagara.
"This is unexpected term of event… but who or what exactly is Sagara?" C.C. pondering.
Back in the factory, Sigurd and Tyrant continued fighting each other at the same time.
"Just die down already!" Tyrant yelled as she slashed with her Sonic Arrow.
"Like hell. I'm taking you in by force!" Sigurd retorted as he parried the blow.
"Like hell!" Tyrant shot back.
The two countered each other's move with their Sonic Arrows whether they are parrying, slashing, or firing, it didn't matter. The two of them tried to get the better of each other.
Suddenly Tyrant felt her strength become weak as the color of her armor starting to shimmer right now. "Damn it… not enough power…" Tyrant growl as she was about to retreated.
"Not so fast!" Sigurd shout before charging forward while Tyrant is distracted.
"CHERRY ENERGY SQUASH!"
He slash her in the stomach, causing Tyrant rolling across the floor before her transformation was undo to revealed a dark hooded figure. Suddenly Sigurd snatched the Dragonfruit Energy Lockseed when it flying into his palm before approaching the black hooded figure.
Sigurd pulled the hooded down and his eyes wide in surprised at who was behind the armor of Tyrant. He remember hearing her supposed to be went missing.
"Impossible… you…" Sigurd uttered in disbelief.
"I won't let you take me alive!" Tyrant shout before snatched her Lockseed back when Sigurd in moment of shocked and starts running.
"Get back here!" Sigurd shout, running after her.
Suddenly he saw a large crack in the building before Tyrant jumps through the portal. Just when the Crack about to be closed, Sigurd used his speed to go through the Crack before it was closed.
Coming out of the shadow stood, Orpheus who witness the whole scene.
"This prove my suspicion… she is related to that group." Orpheus said before looking at the blank Kurokage Trooper belt in his hand.
In the Lamperouge resident, Rai is seen currently making origami with Nunnally. After Kallen finally calm down, the three Riders promised to meet up later time again. Though Kallen still have an issue with Rivalz being a Rider, Rai still want to make sure nothing bad happens to his friend.
"Thanks you for hanging with me today, Rai." Nunnally said softly. This made Rai have a small smile as he looking at the young Lamperouge sibling.
"I hope that you aren't trouble with your brother being away, Nunnally." Rai said.
"Don't worry about big brother. I think it alright for him to gone on his own sometime, but he always did bring interesting presents when he come back." Nunnally giggled.
"So Rai, have any of your memories return yet?" She asked.
Soon she hears Rai places his unfinished origami on the table.
"Not much… But what if my family… what if they were gone?" The silver hair teen said with a sad expression.
Suddenly Rai felt something warm on his hand and realized it was none other than Nunnally's hand.
"Don't worry, Rai." Nunnally said softly. "I am sure that you will find them someday."
"But what if I don't?" Rai asked, looking uncertainly at the young girl. "What if they are already-"
"Even if that happened, never give up until the end." Nunnally said, surprised Rai.
"Never give up until the end…?" Rai repeated.
"That is something big brother always says." Nunnally reminiscing the time that her older brother choose to keep carrying her on their way to Ashford Academy.
"Onii-chan, please leave me… and save yourself…"
"No! I am not leaving you behind! We will make it there together, Nunnally. I will never give up until the end!"
"That is why you shouldn't give up." Nunnally said. "Even if you don't find them, you can always stay here with us."
"Is it really alright…?" Rai asked, hesitated.
Nunnally nodded before hearing sobbing sound and pats the young man on the shoulder in console.
"There, there…" Nunnally said. "It's okay to cry, Rai. It show you that you are still human."
Rai nodded before they hears what looks like the timer going off right now.
"Looks like Sayoko finishing the cookies. Do you want to help decorates the cookies?" Nunnally asked.
"Oh sure…" Rai said before watches Nunnally moving her wheelchair to the kitchen. He then looks at the small portrayal picture of Lelouch, Nunnally, and Sayoko together on what looks like a Christmas day.
Even if their resembled is a coincidence, there is no doubt about her… Rai thought to himself.
"Aunt Nunnally…" Rai whispered before he goes to the kitchen and helping them.
(Later in Helheim)
Orpheus under the disguise as a Kurokage Trooper enter the giant Crack while no one was looking around or guarding the facility.
'Now I have to figure out where is here…' Orpheus wondered to himself.
Orpheus continued walking through the hallway as he passed by couple Kurokage Troopers and scientists at the same time.
"Hey let me go!" an angry familiar voice barked.
"Don't think it will be easy to escape from here!" a gruff voice argued.
This made Orpheus turns around the corner and hide as he saw two Kurokage Troopers moving a prisoner forward at the same time. But what got him startled is the prisoner…
It was Ayano.
"You got to be kidding me…" Orpheus muttered quietly as he watched them passing by. What the hell is going on!?
(Next time…)
"You got to be kidding me! I thought it was strange that we never heard anything happens over there!" Lelouch said.
"It can't be…" Ayano said in disbelief.
"You know we haven't done this for a while…" Orpheus said grinning before he, Akito, and Lelouch stands back to back before getting out their Lockseed. "Henshin!"

AN: That is the end of the chapter. Yes, I bet you were surprised that Rivalz is the next Rider especially him using the Sengoku Driver version of Duke. But I call him Viscount to make a different between him and Duke. As for why Ayano is there, you will have to find out in the next chapter!
