Ch18: The Great Break-In! A Red Mist?
In the W-0's main base, people were talking to each other as someone who walking down the hallway. Even though he's been here for a few days, he made quite a reputation for himself. The males gave the newcomer nervous expressions while the female workers are stealing glances at the person who walking passed them.
"Who is he?"
"I heard he is a new guy who knows the Commander and started making a reputation in battlefield coordination. Some says that his skills are on a match with Commander Malkal herself."
"He is handsome, but who he is?"
"That man is none other than Julius Kingsley."
"Did you think he have a girlfriend?"
"He seem to be close to the commander, do you think that they're dating?"
"That's impossible." Another facility member said.
Said man ignored their lousy comments made by his peers before enter the strategy room. There, Leila and others seem to be waiting for him.
"Mister Kingsley, I see you made it." Leila said with a smile.
"It's not a problem, Commander Malkal." The raven hair young man with violet eyes, wearing E.U. military uniform, said with a smile.

(Instrument) The song begins with a full view of ruin building in Japan before the scene started with a ruined building with Zangetsu standing watching over the Tokyo settlement when the sun is set before the entire scene was replaced with the title.
Kodoku ni yureteru Emotion
The scene began with Lelouch yawning as he lying on the school yard as he thought about his past before Ayano appeared behind him which caused a scene of him being chased by Ayano around.
Itsu demo jidai no hadō ni nomikomarete
Unknown to them, Orpheus was chuckled at the scene with amusing before he and Akito spotted each other. The two stares at each other before they went on their separated paths with their Lockseeds in their hands.
Samayotteta setsunai kokoro
In his room, Rai holds tightly on the Orange Lockseed tightly as a memories of young girl flash in his mind. Soon the screen turns toward Gaim and he holds tightly on his Daidaimaru while looking at the viewers.
Just One Nation kizanderu I.D.
The scene changes to Helheim forest and shows Jam with dark aura.
Doko e mo ikenai jibun ga
Suddenly the scene changes to Japan starts being covered by Helheim forest and Inves began their invasion. This cause many civilian began to start run for their life, though Britannian soldiers try to fight against Inves, but they soon got overwhelm by the number of the creatures of in the forest.
Modokashikute kuyashikatta
Soon the scene changes to the Black Knight headquarter as the operative members monitor event going on.
Sore demo yume ni miteta
As the Inves got closed to them, Lelouch and his fellow Riders got out their Drivers. They soon locked their Lockseeds into their Drivers before they transformed and charge into battle.
Haruka tōku taiyō no shizumu oto ga suru
The Lancelot Club is seen race across the field while taking out large Inves and Britannia Knightframes at the same. Soon the scene focused on Zangetsu running at incredible speed slashing through Britannian soldiers and Inves alike while explosions occur around him.
Ano basho e yukō Sekai no hate made
Suddenly he becomes Zangetsu-Shin before getting out his Sonic Arrow and deliver a powerful slash to destroy an unknown Knightframe.
Dare yori tsuyoku naritai Jibun rashiku aru tame Dare ni mo yuzurenai Passion Ashita wo ikiru tame
Habakiri did a spin slash with her dual katanas; Ryugen firing several shots with his gun; Baron spins her Banaspear and thrust it forward; Kurokage spins his weapon; Knuckle pounced his Kurumi Bombers together.

Soon an Britannia airship dropped bombs on the city and caused the Riders to struggle in pain until Zangetsu-Shin shows up and destroyed it with his Finisher. The scene changes when Zangetsu-Shin and Jam spotted each other before they clashed with each other as sparks flying everywhere.
To Be Free
The scene changes to Lelouch and Ayano were walking together, then they turned around facing the screen, then it zooms out revealing Rai, Kallen, Nunnally, Orpheus and Akito along with several members of Black Knights.
"BLUEBERRY SQUASH!"
Habakiri spun her dual blades before destroying the five Elementary Inves within the hotel room. A Yagi Inves let out a growl before charging at her with its claw, but Habakiri blocks them with her two weapons. She then started charging forward and landed a couple of serious kicks on the Inves's chest. This made the Inves rolls across the floor immediately.
"Habakiri, I have a little problem due to one of the Inves I fought fleeing through the stairs case. I need you to intercept it immediately." Kamuro said.
"Wait! Are you serious?!" Habakiri gawk before being struck by an incoming fireball nearby from a lion like Inves already.
The attack caused her to hit straight for the wall immediately.
"Oww…" Habakiri groaned.
The Yagi Inves let out a growl to the lion like Inves before they both charged at Habakiri.
But Habakiri regained her conscious in time to duck under the two Inves as they hit the wall before they breaking through it immediately.
"That was close…" Habakiri said.
Soon the two Inves let out a growl before they glared at the female Rider and chasing after her. Habakiri soon turns around and start running immediately.
Before the two Inves could attacked her again, a barrage of silver apples flying toward them and send the two Inves flying backward.
Soon Kamuro shows up as he descend to the ground while Habakiri getting back up from the ground.
"Take you long enough…" Habakiri grunted.
"I am surprised you can last this long against two high Inves. Let's finish this mission." Kamuro said with a serious tone.
Habakiri says nothing before taking both of her blades as she and Kamuro charged at the Inves.
(Next morning)
In the W-0 cafeteria, Lelouch and Ayano were currently eating breakfast together at an empty table. The two undercover members of the Black Knights have been staying here for a few days to adjust to the liking of the W-0.
Though being away from Japan, Lelouch and Ayano were kept updated about events from Sayoko and C.C. They will return to Japan if the Black Knights going themselves into trouble.
Lelouch turns around and notices Ayano's eyebrows twitching for some strange reason.
"What's the matter, Ayano?" Lelouch asked.
"Even in this place, you still attract admirers… Mister Kingsley," Ayano said, glaring at the female workers who sat not far from where they were and secretly glanced back at Lelouch. It not a surprise that it few things that caused her to hate about this place.
Even since Lelouch joins the W-0 under the name Julius, he made a number of people who either envy him or worship him for strange reasons. Even though they are not in Ashford Academy, Lelouch still attracts attention from the female members in this base.
This made Lelouch rolls his eyes to the side when he hears from Ayano. "Like I said before and I'll say it again, it's not my fault for having fangirls wherever I go. Not to mention that you have your own share of admirers." Lelouch said.
"Shut up… they're only perverts." Ayano counters.
"May we sat here?" Ayano turned around to see Leila and Akito who were standing before their table with their trays of food.
"I am surprised that you want to join us, Malkal." Ayano remarked.
"You're my comrades and I feel more comfortable around you guys than a few others of the W-0 especially regarding… other matters." Leila answered.
They knew where she was going at so Ayano allowed them to sit down on the table. Ever since the two joined, there seemed to less tense between Ayano and Leila than usual.
"So how was the hunt last night?" Leila asked.
"It went well, but we have to stop once due to Kosaka's motion sickness on the motorcycle." Akito comment, making Ayano have a scowl.
"It's not my fault that I get sick on motorcycle in the first place." Ayano scoffed with a hint of irritation.
"…That is why you need to improve," Akito stated.
This made Ayano blush a bit and looks away a bit. "I don't need advice from someone like of you…" she scoffed.
Lelouch stared at their interaction, but he can't help but feel his eyebrow twitch for some reason. He isn't sure why but he can't help being a little bothered by Ayano and Akito's interactions. He is trying to figure out what makes him feeling this way. However, he wasn't sure what this feeling in his chest was right now.
'I will figure this out later… there is more important thing to focus on.' Lelouch thought to himself. He then looks at the blonde hair commander.
"So how is it going with that disc?" Lelouch asked to Leila. He knows that she is trying to breaking through the firewall to break into contents of the disc. If there is anything vital about the forest or Lockseeds, then getting into it was their number one priority.
Leila let out a sighed. "I can't make dent on it. This thing has the most serious firewall that I ever encountered." She said dryly.
"I see… this might be a problem. But it also shows that it's really important if they want it to be so heavy guarded." Lelouch said.
"There is no doubt that they will notice that it vanished from their grasp." Akito said calm.
(Unknown location)
"For the last time, Charles; my spies didn't find anything about Lelouch leaving through the airports in Area 11 or anyone that resembles him. There is not even any reports of him, not even spotted by the authorities." V.V. explained to the Emperor.
V.V. kept his stoic expression on him. However, he is annoyed that Charles would ask him about possible whereabouts of his exiled son.
"I see…" The Britannia Emperor said.
"Instead of watching your son's battle, we should focus more on the Ragnarok Connection." V.V. said in calm tone.
"Very well… you may be excused for now." Charles said before watching the small immortal leaving.
With no more questions to ask, V.V. left the room and returned to his own business. He soon made it across to an elevator and pressed a button. But he soon had his own personal thoughts around the Emperor. 'It actually funny that you didn't know about Lelouch. Does it mean… the possibility of travelling through the forest. However, it's alright… Charles. You do not need to know about Helheim… since it will be mine and Lelouch's little secret… while you focus on drawing the green witch out…'The immortal Code Bearer thought to himself. The emperor may suspect something, but he cannot really do anything about it unless he have proof.
He has to admit that he was a bit surprised that Lelouch found out about his secret factory in the E.U. with the Riders residing in that country. Who would expect that their first meeting going to be like that? However, he can't help but feel kind of impressed at how strong he became especially obtaining his own Genesis Driver and Energy Lockseed.
He soon made his appearance with many scientist especially those monitors around the Forest itself. On the monitors, V.V. saw his workers collect fruits and taking notes.
"Any sights of Wild Ones?" V.V. asked.
"Negative, Lord V.V." One of the scientists said.
This made V.V. scowl. He knows that there is more to the deceased planet after learning about the Inves themselves than they appeared.
"Then keep looking." V.V. said before he saw two hood figures waiting nearby.
The Immortal Code Bearer soon approached the two of them.
"You two… I have a job for both of you." V.V. said with a smug look on his face.
"What is it that you wish for us?" The one with the Durian Lockseed in hand questioned.
"There is a job I need you two for help."
Lelouch is a bit surprised after stepping into Leila's office when he received a call from her while looking through records in the library. On her office table was none other than a chessboard and Leila seem to be waiting patiently.
"Malkal… I am surprised that you have a chessboard." Lelouch said.
"Though I rarely find anyone to play with, I thought this might be a good way to know each other better." Leila said calmly. But after hearing from Akito that Lelouch has the same level of intelligence as her, she sees this as a way to get to know each other in a game of intellect.
Lelouch seemed to be amused before he sat down on the chair opposite of her table. Like Leila, he hears about how intelligent Leila from Akito and wished to have a match in chess to confront the possible genius who can rival him.
"Very well…" Lelouch said. "I will take black pieces."
"Alright, then I go with white." Leila said before taking the white pieces.
Leila starts with her move by moving her white pawn to F3.
Lelouch pondered about his plan that is usually followed up with moving his King strategy. Then again, he doubt it will work against someone like her.
He then decided of moving his black pawn to C6.
Leila then moved her white pawn to D5.
(Few minutes later)
Leila watched as Lelouch moved his black bishop to her white queen in F7.
"I see… so that was your plan earlier…taking away my queen. Clever." Leila commented, impressed of the undercover raven hair teen who smirked.
"You're worthy of your position indeed… Malkal." Lelouch comment. "Not many would keep up with me and they lost. You're one of the only few exceptions." He added with a grin.
"I'm flattered. I never had anyone to play chess at this level." Leila commented with an amusing look at the board.
As for how many each player lost: Lelouch lost almost eight of his pawns, a bishop, knight, and rook. Leila lost only six of her pawns, queen, bishop, a knight, and both rooks.
But they ended up learning a bit about each other such as they're both orphans due to what happened with Britannia.
"… What will you do if you somehow toppled down the greatest empire someday?" Leila asked, thinking her next move. "Are you thinking of becoming emperor?" she asked, wanting to understand a bit more about Lelouch's plan.
"If I did, I probably wouldn't accept it." Lelouch said, not wanting to reveal his exiled heritage. After all, he didn't create the Black Knights to challenge Britannia so he can simply take over Charles's rule.
"Oh why is that?" Leila asked before moving her piece next.
"If you become the ruler of the third part of world, it will mean the amount of paperwork becoming the size of a mountain…" Lelouch said darkly before moving his black bishop and removed her white knight on D7. "Not to mention, that you will have to clear up the mistakes that Britannia made."
"I see. You really have no intention of replacing him." She said before moving her bishop forward to take out Lelouch's queen in E5.
Lelouch blinks in surprised at that move from the blonde-haired girl who was smirking at him. There is no fear, but confident in her skill of beating him!
"That is a bold move, Malkal." Lelouch said. "It looks like you have my force surrounded…"
"If you want to conceit, now is your chance unless you are scared." Leila said, wanting to test Lelouch's resolve.
Lelouch then moves his king piece forward, making Leila look surprised.
"You moved your king…?" Leila asked incredulous.
"If the king doesn't lead, how could he expect his subordinates follow?" Lelouch asked with a grin.
"Very well…" Leila said. 'There is no doubt about it… he is trying bait me with his king if he is willing to risk it.' She thought before moving her pawn to E3 for defensive.
Lelouch then trying to move with an offensive plan before taking out her white pawn. Leila began her assault on his pawns in the defensive positions, making Lelouch's own teeth clenched.
"Pawn into knight." Lelouch said after moving his pawn to the end of the board. With the knight, he was certainly that he gets her king at last.
However, his violet eyes widen in shocked when Leila moved the pawn to the other side of the board.
"Pawn promote to a queen. Checkmate." Leila finished with a smirk.
Lelouch cannot help but look shocked at what happens and she is right that there is no way for his king to get out and let his king get wide open.
He never imagined there was someone beside Schneizel and used to felt frustration. Unlike that time in the past, he cannot help feels refresh for the first time before he starting laughing.
Surprisingly, even Leila start to laughed.
"That was fine game… Leila Malkal." Lelouch laughed, palming his face. 'To think that I let my guard down so easily…'
"Indeed. You're also an excellent player…" Leila said before looking at the time. "As much I want to play a second game with you. But I remember that I need to make my report soon."
"Very well… the next time we play, Malkal… I will win." Lelouch said to his new rival… Yes, Leila have official become his new rival. But he still felt disbelief that he lost to the woman who Akito often talk about.
The two got up from their chairs before shaking their hands and Lelouch left the office.
After returning to his quarters, Lelouch got out his cellphone and started talking with Sayoko about what occurs in the Black Knights. Even though this was supposed to be an undercover mission, Lelouch still wanted to check on Black Knight activities to make sure nothing went wrong.
"I see… so those two are still not getting along after what happened?" Lelouch asked.
"But I can tell that Miss Kozuki is still stubborn about not accepting Rai back due to the concerns regarding his problem." Lelouch understood why Kallen did it since there is a chance that Rai might become distracted by these visions of the past. Not to mention there is a new Genesis Rider on the loose.
Though it make Lelouch a bit wary of the possibility, that Rai can be either an enemy or ally for their cause.
"I guess we will have to wait to see how things turned out…" Lelouch wondered aloud of his thought. After talking with Sayoko for a bit, Lelouch soon returned to looking through the files.
It was thanks to Leila that Lelouch had his hands on these reports since he got here to the E.U. He has been looking over the combat reports about the clash with his other sibling's force. Though he is still strong as a Rider after getting his Genesis Driver, there is still one person he still could not beat in chess match.
Besides Cornelia, who he vow to hunt when he get back, Lelouch knows he will cross path with Schneizel in the war against Britannia as he was going over the accounts about Britannia faring at E.U. with Schneizel leading them. 'It will be unlikely chance for us to meet right now…'
Though he was undercover in the W-0, there seem to be people he still have to be concerned with caution around. Not to mention that unknown rider known as Jam, who seem to be stronger than he appear despite having worn a Sengoku Driver. He still finds it shocking that there is someone already started building a factory to make Lockseeds especially those Energy Lockseeds. How long did something like this been going on? He is sure that he could have defeated him with the power of Genesis Driver, but there are always unexpected surprises.
Lelouch also checked if the locusts Jam released have anything effects on his body, but there were nothing. He suddenly heard a knock on the door as this snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Who is it?" Lelouch asked.
Ayano is the one who opens the door and close it behind her before she come into the room.
"How are you doing?" Ayano asked. Though she got tired from training simulation, she still wanted to spent time with Lelouch.
"I just finished them already and checked with home." Lelouch said. "Is there something you need?" he asked to her.
"W-Well… I was wonder if we can hang out in the city?" Ayano asked, nervous. "Just the two of us?"
She hated the idea of being in the E.U. especially a military division with high rate suicide missions, but if it means she get the chance of spending time with Lelouch more than before. She could be herself and using her own real name.
"Oh sure…" Lelouch said. "Beside I need to get some ideas on what be a good present for my sister. Do you think you can help?" he asked.
"Sure, I would like that too." Ayano said with a smile.
Akito was in his quarters as he was looking at the Peach Energy Lockseed and the Genesis Core in his hands. He borrowed them from Lelouch as he wished to study them on his own.
The blue hair Japanese wondered if it was possible to use these two components with his Sengoku Driver, thus enable him to reach the power Lelouch possessed. He knew that the Energy Lockseed is unnatural and possessed more power than normal Lockseed provide.
Akito then placed the Genesis Core to his Driver and then attached the Peach Energy Lockseed there. He then try to push the Cutting Blade, but find it won't budge.
He then noticed the Energy Lockseed went flying across the floor as annoyed look form on Akito's face. The blue hair Japanese soon picked up the Energy Lockseed.
'It's still strange… Lelouch says that he finds it in research lab and no signs of any Genesis Driver spare parts…' Akito thought to himself.
Lelouch and Ayano got themselves off the taxi before walking down to the market street.
Ayano cannot help but feel a sense of bitterness as she watched the people stare at them with disgusted glances while they went passed them. After all, she still hasn't forgiven the E.U. as it was the place where she lost her grandfather and her friends.
"So what is the last thing you bought for Nunna-chan last time you visited here?" Ayano asked, wanting to pick up something for Nunnally as well. "She doesn't need another stuff animal, right?"
"Nope. The last time I visit here, I bought some cakes after hearing how good they are." Lelouch mused. Not to mention the time he spent challenging a couple of E.U. nobles in a game of chess at that time.
They soon went into the bakery as Lelouch talked to the man behind the counter about the cakes he ordered for himself and Ayano. But the man seemed to start making eyes with Ayano which started to tick Lelouch off a bit.
"You should keep your eyes to your head." Lelouch warned coldly.
"Urk! Sorry, sir… It just that she is an Eleven—" The man stuttered nervously.
"And she is with me." Lelouch said before a dark smile appears on his face. "I want my orders now rather than hearing you complain… do I make myself clear?" he asked.
Something about Lelouch's dark smile, made the man shudder before going ahead with their orders soon enough.
The two sat in a table far from other customers.
You really showed him…" Ayano said with an impressed grin.
"It was nothing…" Lelouch said. "Besides I am certain that you never tried cakes like these before. They're really good."
Soon a waiter came with their cakes before leaving the two before they started eating their deserts alone in peace.
"Wow. This is great…" Ayano said with surprised look. She knows the streets of the E.U., but she never imagined to find the cakes delicious.
Lelouch can't help smile at Ayano eating her foods, not to mention her noticeable slight white foamy mustache from the coffee.
"What is it?" Ayano asked.
"Oh it's nothing…" Lelouch said before eating his cake calmly. Even if he tried to catch her with a foamy mustache with his phone, but she will no doubt try to castrate him for sure.
"Tell me… why didn't you think about recruit Hyuuga before?" Ayano asked.
"You can say though we both agreed about the forest being a problem, but we still have our own personal objectives." Lelouch said, drinking his coffee. Ayano caught on knowing that forest is a term for 'Helheim' and knowing that they do not wants any hearing them about it.
"You mentioned that you couldn't beat him before. How is that? I know you can read others' movements well." Ayano said.
"Things didn't go in my favor, especially for Kallen, have to experience what I endured from his curse. If it wasn't for Orpheus, I would've ended up being a goner." Lelouch said.
Ayano's eyes wide in shock. She remembered the incident of Kamuro's visor turn red and began to act beastly than before.
"Is it really alright to trust him?" Ayano asked.
"Despite we just being associates and that he can sometime get crazy from that, he is still human like us." Lelouch said. "He never wanted the curse in the first place, but forces to struggle with it every day." He added, making Ayano think about it. She might not have a choice since they will be staying here in the E.U.
"Well, what do you think about Malkal so far?" Lelouch asked, wanting to know what Ayano thinks about her.
"She can keep up with us, but I can't help but still hate her. I like things better back home with you in charge." Ayano admit.
"Is that so?" Lelouch asked before drinking his coffee.
"So what are the higher-ups in E.U. doing about the Riders? Do they seem suspicious to anyone?" Ayano asked. She only hears few rumors when training with Akito, but nothing more.
"For now they aren't doing anything about them due to lack of evidence to find out about their identities," Lelouch explains from what he remember in that meeting.
He didn't say much since he was a transfer member as he watching interactions between Leila and military groups talks about the Riders. He mentally scowl when the EU officials are interested in gain the stuffs and try to recreated them. Leila keep the end of her bargain in keeping quiet about the Riders, but vow to find clues for the generals.
Before they could even continue their conversation, the two soon heard the sound of screams from outside of the shop. They turn around and surprisingly seen civilian ran away from numerous of Inves.
"It looks like time to work." Lelouch said after finished the coffee.
Ayano finished her cake before following Lelouch from behind.
The two went to the alley before get out their Sengoku Drivers and their Lockseeds. They place their Driver on their waist as their belt formed.
"MELON!"
"BLUEBERRY!"
Soon their respective Arms appear above them before they inserted their Lockseeds and locked them into the Drivers.
"Henshin!" They shout in unions.
"SOIYA!"
"MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"
"BLUEBERRY ARMS! AMENO GOMEN!"
They soon donned their armors as Zangetsu and Habakiri before charging straight at the Inves.
Zangetsu slashes the Inves with his Musou Saber as he passed them. He then bringing up his Melon Defender to protecting himself from incoming burst of flames before slammed the Inves who did it straight to the wall.
Habakiri impaled a Shika Inves with her dual swords from the head, causing the Inves to scream in pain. She then swing her left leg to kick an incoming Inves before pulling out her weapons once again and slashing down the Elementary Inves.
Habakiri soon pushed down her Cutting Blade.
"SOIYA! BLUEBERRY SQUASH!"
With her blades glowing, Habakiri charging forward and slashing the Elementary Inves as they exploded in the process.
"SOIYA! MELON SQUASH!"
As the Inves come close to Zangetsu, the white Rider throws his Melon Defender as the shield turns into a glowing spinning saw to cut down them into bit.
Zangetsu then notices an incoming blur before putting up his Melon Defender to protecting himself. He got a better look at his enemy and it none other than Jam himself!
"You…" Zangetsu said slight surprised.
Jam then shove Zangetsu back a few feet with just a push.
"It's been a while…" Jam said, holding his Musou Saber over his shoulder before charging forward.
Zangetsu got his Musou Saber and blocked the attack without any problem. Jam try to slash him with his pink Daidaimaru, but Zangetsu blocked the attack with his Melon Defender as the white Rider throws his shield at him.
But Jam seen it coming before disperse into locusts to avoid the attack before reappeared behind him and activated the trigger function of Musou Saber by shooting him directly in the back.
This causes Zangetsu to stagger forward from the blow from behind.
"Why you…" he growls, angry to Jam.
"Get away from him!" Habakiri snapped angry at Jam.
Jam turns around and easily blocked the strikes from Habakiri before response with attack of dark energies as she stagger backward. Zangetsu let out a growl of angry before charging forward and giving Jam an unexpected slash in the back.
"Ho. I see you got back up, little boy." Jam said nonchalantly at the white Rider.
Habakiri looks at Zangetsu before ready to push down her Cutting Blade.
Before Habakiri could even move, Habakiri was ambush by the unexpected duo of Bravo and Gridon at the same time. This made the white Rider look shocked while Jam was laughing.
"I didn't come alone, you know…" Jam said.
"Bastards!" Habakiri snapped angry as she struggles against the surprise attack. She using both of her weapons to fought against the two Riders, but Bravo using his own dual weapons to block before Gridon charging forward with the swing of his mini hammer.
"Why you…!" Zangetsu growl before trying to throws his Melon Defender directly at Bravo.
But Jam got in the way as he slashing the shield aside like it nothing.
"Don't lost your focus on me, boy." Jam said before charging forward at the white Rider.
Zangetsu growl before he swaps his Sengoku Driver with Genesis Driver and activated his Melon Energy Lockseed now.
"MELON ENERGY~!"
His Melon Arms vanished as his Rider form changed into his Genesis form before he inserted the Energy Lockseed into the Genesis Driver.
"SODA~! MELON ENERGY ARMS!"
After his Melon Energy Arms appeared onto his form, Zangetsu-Shin starts firing energy arrows at Jam and his two henchmen.
Jam was able to dodge the incoming arrows, but Bravo and Gridon were not lucky, hit by the energy arrows in the process.
"Go to hell…!" Zangetsu-Shin growl before pushing the lever of the Genesis Driver.
"SODA~! MELON ENERGY SQUASH!"
Zangetsu-Shin charge forward before slash the two Riders with his Sonic Arrow, causing massive sparks flying off their armors. Both Bravo and Gridon screamed in pain before their form reverse on their own as they are lying on the ground with their cloak. The two struggle of getting up from the ground as their hoods let them down, making Habakiri gasp.
"No… it can't be." Habakiri whispered disbelief.
Zangetsu-Shin was about to deliver the finishing blow when Habakiri stops him by grabbing him the waist.
"Wait! Don't do it!" Habakiri pleaded to the man she loved.
This made Zangetsu-Shin looks confused at Habakiri and her strange behaviors.
"Why did you stop me?" he asked, confused to her.
"Don't do it! They're my friends who I thought were goners!" Habakiri pleaded.
"What?" Zangetsu-Shin looks thunderstruck before stares back at the two.
"Who are you talking about?" Gridon asked. His face under the cloak belong to a teen with light brown hair and green eyes, but Habakiri notices a slight scar on his face.
Habakiri got up and closed her Lockseed to reveal her human form to the two. "Ryo… Yukiya… It is me. Ayano. Don't you guys remember me?" she asked.
"Sorry, but I don't know that name." Bravo whose form was a man with brown spiky hair and brown eyes said.
This made Ayano felt heartbroken that both of her friends does not even recognize her before Jam start laughing hard.
"What trickery is this!?" Zangetsu-Shin growl menacingly at Jam. He is mad that Ayano's friends being used remind him of his friend Shirley and can't helped feels there was a strange connection. 'It can't be a coincidence, is it?'
"This is no trick. These gentlemen are working for me." Jam said.
"That is a lie!" Ayano snapped before went toward her friends. "Ryo! Yukiya! Please remember me!" she pleaded to her friends.
"You're come with us." Bravo said before punch her in the gut, making her fall into unconsciousness.
"Ayano!" Zangetsu-Shin shout in alarmed before charging straight at the two.
But Gridon pulled out a gun and fired at Zangetsu-Shin as the shot paralysis him before forcing his form to shut down and dematerialized his Rider form.
"Im-Impossible!" Lelouch gasped with disbelief. How did his Genesis form just reversal on its own without him doing it!?
"You aren't the only one who knows the power of Genesis. But I know well about how to shut them off and give an interesting stun effect." Jam said with sneering tone before coming toward Lelouch with his Musou Saber.
Lelouch gritting his teeths as he struggling to get himself up. Is this really the end for the white Rider who yet started the Black Rebellion?
"RINGO SQUASH!"
Jam jumped out of the way unexpected red shield come toward him. He turns around to see Idunn and Kamuro on the Sakura Hurricane.
"Get away from him!" Idunn snapped before charging at Jam after jumping off Kamuro's ride.
Jam dodged the blows and blocking attacks from her while Kamuro checking on Lelouch who still struggle on the ground.
"Lelouch, why are you like this?" Kamuro asked, finding him unusual stuck like this.
"They somehow canceled me out of my form with a gun." Lelouch said.
Kamuro swings his staff to summon the silver apples at Jam.
Jam pushed down his Cutting Blade once.
"DARKNESS SQUASH!"
Jam grabbed his Daidaimaru and unleashed dark apple slices to counter against his attack before standing with his men. Both Idunn and Kamuro stand ready with their weapons in their hands.
"If you want this girl, I will expect for the wait of my CD in the forest." Jam said before he and others surrounded by black locusts.
Kamuro saw this before rushing toward the locusts immediately before finding Jam and his men vanish. Lelouch was manages to get himself out of the paralysis effect as he run toward where they vanished.
But the only thing he find were her Driver and Lockseed.
"Damn it!" Lelouch cursed as he looking around the area for them. "Where the hell are you bastards?!"
"So he knows about the CD that I take… and takes Ayano Kosaka in the process." Leila said.
"Even if we give it to him, there is no chances he will let us leave." Akito said.
"Damn it!" Lelouch said, slamming his fist to the wall.
"Lelouch, you need to calm down." Leila said, placing her hand on Lelouch's shoulder.
Lelouch slap her hand away and glared at her, "How am I supposed to calm down when someone I cared about being taken!?"
Akito intervene between them before looking at Lelouch with a serious look. "She is right, Lelouch. You need to calm down. This isn't like you at all." He said.
"What were you know?!" Lelouch snapped.
"I know you well enough. If you didn't care about your childhood friend, you won't get her involved with Helheim in the first place." Akito stated serious. "You would have kept her in a normal life and hidden like your sister Nunnally!"
Lelouch closed his eyes as he trying to calm down before sitting down in a chair. Even after letting Ayano being take away, making him feeling frustration. It remind him of how Nunnally taken away by Mao when he mistaken him goner.
"You're better off than sharing the same fate I did, Lelouch." Akito said. "Unlikely you, I don't have a family or those close to me protecting without knowing if my condition will end them."
Unknown to him, Leila's eyes wide in shocking of learning this information.
"But it not like you to giving up in frustration like this. Do you remember the first time we meet and how you told me that you vowed to crush Britannia? I thought you were a fool like those fools from Japanese Liberation Front who have no hope in reclaiming Japan back. After spending time here, I find something similar to yours without being afraid." The blue haired Japanese continued. "Right now, Ayano need you. Like Nunnally, she is also someone you want to protect."
Lelouch looks back at Akito whose is serious expression. Akito is right about one thing. His life is a bit much better than what Akito have endured. Beside he is not going to let his pride being damaged by Jam the second time.
"Alright… but there is still a problem. These guys somehow developed a way to shut off the Genesis Driver." Lelouch point out.
"Then I supposed you need to look into this?" Akito asked, taking the same gun from before out of his pocket. He tossed the gun to Lelouch who looks surprised. "I take it from that guy before they vanished."
"I will finished this fast." Lelouch said before leaving the room.
Akito turns around to see Leila smiling. "Is there something wrong?" he asked.
"No…" Leila said, shaking her head. "But I never thought you were quite encouraging… Lt. Hyuga." She said with slight surprises in her tone. She rarely seen Akito giving encouraging to anyone and did not even know he have it in him.
"I just want him stop mopping. He will not think clear if he became too frustration." Akito said calm.
"What make you think he can do what JFL couldn't?" Leila asked.
"They still can't united the entire nation up against Britannia as they're too scatter and need a genius who know how Britannia think." Akito said.
"I see…" Leila said, rubbing her chin. "Anyway, we should still plan for something while he is busy."
Within the hallway, four Kurokage-Shin Troopers, as Ayano held back with her arms behind her back. She had some bruises, but nothing that would not be fix with some ice.
"Hey let me go!" Ayano barked.
"Don't think it will be easy to escape from here!" Kurokage Trooper argued.
Unknown to them, there was a Kurokage Trooper watching them from nearby in silent. Not anyone know that it none other than a certain Chinese theme Rider.
"You got to be kidding me…" Kurokage Trooper mutter quietly.
"Even if you trapped me here, Zangetsu and others will end you…." Ayano threatened them.
"Shut it," Kurokage Trooper growled. "Be a good girl and zipped it." Ayano just spits at the helmet without any hesitating. "If you keep doing that then I will do this," Kurokage-Shin Trooper stated angry, points his Kagematsu at her neck.
"The Director will execute us if we don't put her in the cell." A Kurokage-Shin Trooper reminded to his fellow Kurokage-Shin Trooper.
The Kurokage Trooper watching the Kurokage-Shin Troopers moving Ayano down the hallway. He thought about helping her, but it lead to more suspicious and the fact these Troopers have Genesis Drivers which will be a problem.
'If she is here, no doubt Lelouch will come...' The undercover Kurokage Trooper thought to himself. He need more information about this place and possible obtain something to fight on even level.
The Kurokage Trooper continued walking down the hallway. The hallway soon lead him to what looks like an lab as he walk past couple of researchers and Kurokage Troopers.
He soon notices one room that have two scientists in there and hears something important from their conversation.
"I heard they captured one of Zangetsu's Riders in the E.U."
"I have no doubt that we get new test subjects after few didn't synchronize with the power of Helheim."
"Some of them gone insane and the director have to call Rolo to clean them up."
Wait… Rolo? Kurokage Trooper thought confused. He knows a young boy named Rolo back in the Geass Order before he and Euria flee from that hellhole. 'No. It can't be a simple coincidence.'
"Hopefully we can build enough Genesis Drivers in time to full the deadline."
"Even if we can't, there are still the Genesis Cores and Energy Lockseeds. We can uses them to boost the power of Sengoku Driver up to next level…"
The young man behind the Kurokage Trooper armor get himself and start moving away. But he can't help have a grinning behind his helmet. 'I don't know who hired those fools, but they really fools for giving out such useful information…' he thought before continued down the hallway.
"Stop right there." A new voice stated.
Kurokage Trooper turns around and see a Kurokage-Shin Trooper walking toward him.
"What is someone like you lowly one doing in this area? Someone like you should not be here and guarding our researchers in the forest." The Kurokage Trooper stated.
"Well, you see… I hear there was an intruder might sneak in from the crack under disguise as a Kurokage Trooper. But I hadn't hear anything from others." Kurokage Trooper said.
The Kurokage-Shin Trooper stares hard back at Kurokage Trooper.
"I see. Carry onward with your mission." Kurokage-Shin Trooper said.
Kurokage Trooper says nothing before he walking passed the Kurokage-Shin Trooper and continued downward his path.
That was close or things will get messing… He thought to himself as he continued walking down the hallway. He glances around to see scientists either working on Knightmares or Lockseed as he goes.
Wow… these people seem to be prepared for something big. But what reason are they need these many Lockseeds and Knightmare? Kurokage Trooper thought.
However, he soon leap out of the way when Kurokage-Shin Trooper trying to impaled him with his own spear.
"If this mission was important, you should've reported to the director than coming this way." The Kurokage-Shin Trooper said.
This made the Kurokage Trooper chuckled a bit. "I thought that I have you fooled. But if I let you go, no doubt your director will come for me…"
(Helheim forest)
The Kurokage Troopers are currently patrolling around the large Crack that lead to the base. They are on guard with the chance of invaders into their base.
Suddenly one of the Kurokage Trooper heard something rolling and looking around.
"What was that sound?" A Kurokage Trooper asked, confused.
A Kurokage Trooper looks around before recognized giant metallic watermelons coming toward them right now. There six of them and coming at them in rapid fast speed now.
This made the Kurokage Troopers moving out of the way from being squash by the metallic menacing. But some of them weren't so luck and got send flying to trees.
"An attack right now!?" Kurokage Trooper gasped in shock.
Suddenly the massive watermelon machines starting to turns around and ambushing them by surprised. Soon they heard bestial growls from the corner as Inves starting to approach them.
"Quickly, we need to get rid of them!" A Kurokage Trooper shout to his men.
While they are fends off against the massive watermelons and bunch of Inves, three unexpected intruders went passed them and jumps straight into the crack now.
The first one was to notice them was a scientist before he was knock out when Akito choked on them and place him on the ground.
"We better move quick…" Lelouch said before subdue another scientist in the process.
"You guys will have some time before they will notice you." The voice of Leila Malkal response through the earpieces in their ears.
"Just be careful, Commander Malkal." Akito said. Soon enough, the Kurokage Troopers along with some summoned Inves enter the room to greet them.
"Let's go." Lelouch said before the two got out their Lockseeds immediately.
"SILVER!"
"MELON!"
"Henshin!" They shout before they pushed down their Cutting Blades at the same time.
"SOIYA! SILVER ARMS! HAKUGIN NEW STAGE!"
"SOIYA! MELON ARMS! TENKA GOMEN!"
Meanwhile watching in the forest was Leila Malkal as she controlling the autopilot Suika Arms on her laptop, within Lelouch's Club. Far from the large crack, lead to the guarded base to kept their presence hidden.
How exactly did she know to control the Suika Arms you ask?
There were experiment prototypes for new Knightframes W-0 making with manual controls from one Knightframe. But these were still hold back on testing stage by her friend Anna.
Leila thought of using the prototype with the Suika Arms, not only she will help with the mission but helping her best friend by gathering more data to make them perfect.
"My sensor system picks up Knightframes approaching them." Club reported to her.
This made Leila narrow her eyebrow when she saw one crushed one of the Suika Arms with its weapon. No doubt, they send Knightframes into the forest for extra scout. She isn't surprise since the crack was big enough to fit dozen of machines through.
"Let's see… how about this." Leila said before pressing several keys at the same time.
Unknown to them, a shadow figure watching the event with yellow glowing eyes from a cliff not far from where they are.
Zangetsu and Kamuro continued moving forward as they destroying more Kurokage Troopers while scientists were running like wild gooses.
Soon the silver apple rider then notices a Kurokage Trooper who come nearby. Kamuro then charge straight at him with his battle staff by surprised.
"What-? Whoa!" But the Kurokage Trooper wasn't able to finished his sentence as Kamuro continued slashing him in the chest and send sparks flying.
"Hyuga, what the hell man!?" The Kurokage Trooper exclaimed in a familiar voice. This made both the two Riders stop as they stares at him.
"Orpheus… is that you?" Lelouch asked.
The Kurokage Trooper soon removes the Driver and revealed to be none other than Orpheus. This made the two closed their Lockseeds now.
"Zervon…" Akito uttered unimpressed. "You're here?"
"Seriously, Hyuuga! You almost killed me!" Orpheus growl, glaring at the blue haired Japanese before him.
"You're still alive." Akito retort with calm expression.
"You were trying to murder me!" Orpheus accused, points his finger at Akito who didn't shows any regret on his face.
Lelouch serious resist of facepalmed himself when seeing those two fighting. Even back when he know them, they still fighting each other for another reason. Then again, he felt a bit disappointed that he was in the dark about the existence of Geass when those two know about it a lot.
"Orpheus, I supposed you're looking into this place as well?" Lelouch injected.
Orpheus give a glare at Akito before answers Lelouch. "Pretty much. These guys seem to be really busy with building more Lockseeds especially those for Genesis Drivers." Orpheus said. This got Akito and Lelouch's attention. "I also learn this base was located in one of the big three territories."
"Which one?" Lelouch asked.
"This base is somewhere in China." Orpheus said grim expression.
"You mean the Chinese Federation?" Akito asked, "How are you sure?" They all know Chinese never show any signs of Helheim involved or hears Riders there.
Orpheus takes out what looks like a GPS device and show. "I take this from one of the guys… this is where we're are right now." He said, making the two be silent.
"You got to be kidding me! I thought it was strange that we never heard anything happens over there!" Lelouch said.
"That is true… but it was kept so quiet." Akito said.
"Oh yeah, I saw your girlfriend early." Orpheus added, getting Lelouch out of his thoughts.
"Where is she?" Lelouch asked serious.
"Not that far down the hallway. Though I don't know if there are traps." Orpheus answer.
Suddenly Akito spotted an incoming shadow attack, he push Lelouch to the side from the incoming blast— turning around to see none other than Kurokage Shin Trooper. But the lone trooper wasn't alone as many others appeared.
"You're all not welcome here." Kurokage-Shin Trooper stated.
"Looks like they won't let us through." Akito said cold to his two associated.
"Let's go." Lelouch said before he swap his Sengoku Driver for his Genesis Driver.
"You know we haven't done this for a while…" Orpheus said grinning before he, Akito, and Lelouch stands back to back before inserted their Lockseeds into the Drivers. "Henshin!"
"SODA~! MELON ENERGY ARMS!"
"SOIYA! SILVER ARMS! HAKUGIN NEW STAGE!"
"HAI~! BUDOU ARMS! RYU, HOU, HA-HA-HA!"
They transformed into Zangetsu-Shin, Kamuro, and Ryugen before their weapons materialized in their hands.
"Attack!" The Kurokage-Shin Trooper shout for the Kurokage Troopers starting their attacks at the three opposing Riders.
Zangetsu-Shin lead the charges as he swing his Sonic Arrow and slashing down the Kurokage Troopers back. He used the Sonic Arrow to block a Kagematsu before delivering a roundhouse kick to the Troopers' chest, sending them backward.
He then seeing the Kurokage-Shin Trooper trying to attack him by surprised before blocking the incoming attacks with his Sonic Arrow.
"HAI~! BUDOU SQUASH!"
Before Kurokage-Shin Trooper can even attack the white Rider again, he got shoot down by incoming purple blasts from Ryugen.
"Get going, Zangetsu! We'll hold them off here!" Ryugen said.
Zangetsu-Shin looks at him and Kamuro before leaving in a hurry while the two Riders fending off against the Kurokage Troopers.
The Kurokage Troopers are coming after him before they got shoot down by silver apple like shards directly at them.
"You aren't going anywhere." Kamuro stated cold before pushing down his Cutting Blade twice.
"SOIYA! SILVER AU LAIT!"
Kamuro charge forward before extending his staff forward to impaled many Kurokage Troopers, sending them flying.
Zangetsu-Shin continued through the hallway as he soon slashing through what looks like a locked glass door with his Sonic Arrow.
"Ayano!" Zangetsu-Shin shout. Not to mention she looks like she is all right!
Ayano gasped when she saw the white Genesis Rider charged into the room.
"You came!" Ayano cried out in relief.
Before Zangetsu-Shin can came any close toward the cell when he saw autopilots Suika Arms and Knightframe stood in the white Rider's way.
"I know you're here! Show yourself, you damn coward!" Zangetsu-Shin roared in defiance.
"Hehehe… I know that you show yourself up even if you didn't bring back what Malkal stolen… but can you outlast my little minions before they overrun you?" Jam's voice mocking said from the voice boxes around the area.
"I will make sure you suffered…" Zangetsu-Shin vowed darkly before grip his Sonic Arrow ready.
Soon the mobile Suika Arms and Knightframes start charging at the white Genesis Rider.
(Back in the forest)
The Club was fighting against some Knightframes that discovered his location. It wasn't surprise for him and Idunn to realize the enemies were more smarter than they originally thought.
"COME ON! RINGO SQUASH!"
Club soon tossed the Apple Reflector at the incoming Knightframes and destroyed them in the process. However, soon more of them coming this way and making Idunn gritting her teeths.
Before the mechanical metallic beings can continued with their fight, an ominous dark crimson mist come into the fight before destroying the Knightframes and sending Club flying straight to several trees.
"What in the world was that!?" Idunn gasped in confusion.
"I don't know… but I sense a massive power reading from the fog." Club stated.
Soon Idunn watching the dark crimson mist swallows the Kurokage Troopers nearby and her eyes could not get widen before they gets torn apart inhumanely. Soon the dark crimson mist began to move straight into the large crack.
"Oh no…!" Idunn gasped in realization.
Kamuro charging forward as he swings his weapon forward and knocking down some Troopers while dodging incoming thrusting spears. He then ran straight up to the wall and did a backflipped before pushing down his Cutting Blade once.
"SOIYA! SILVER SQUASH!"
Soon his Souginjou glow before he extended the weapon to impaled the Kurokage Troopers, causing them to explode in the process. He then dodge thrusts from Kagematsu before he impaled one through the chest and stab others.
Ryugen was dodging the incoming spears for his head while firing his Budou Ryuhou at them as he ran from them. When they get close to him, Ryugen pushed down his Cutting Blade twice.
"HAI~! BUDOU AU LAIT!"
Soon energy gathering into his Budou Ryuhou as Ryugen fired a large energy grape like projective before break apart into multiple and struck the Kurokage Troopers.
Before he can relax, he felt sharp jolt behind him and causing him to stumbled to the floor when Kurokage-Shin Troopers attacking him from behind.
"Damn!" Ryugen cursed before quickly to the right in avoiding the incoming Kagematsu-Shin.
Ryugen was about to get his Kiwi Lockseed, but he didn't get the time to dodge from an unexpected Trooper. But another Kurokage-Shin Trooper coming toward him with another slash in the chest, causing him to dropped his Kiwi Lockseed as he gasp in pain and his faceplate fall down.
Ryugen groan in pain as the Kurokage-Shin Troopers are coming toward them. Even with his current Arms, he wasn't able to handle against them by himself while Kamuro busy with others.
"Zervon!" Kamuro called before he focused on the Kurokage Troopers.
"No… I won't quit!" Ryugen thought angry to himself before getting himself back up onto his feet.
The Chinese theme Rider getting out something from his pocket… A Genesis Core.
Kamuro turns around in time and looks surprised that Ryugen possessed a Genesis Core as well. The silver rider was curious about what he is going to do with it.
Ryugen inserted the Genesis Core he stolen from defeating a Kurokage-Shin Trooper's Genesis Driver and place in the spot where his faceplate originally belong.
He then takes out the Matsubokkuri Energy Lockseed that he taken as prize.
"MATSUBOKKURI ENERGY~!"
Suddenly a crack open above Ryugen's head and revealed none other than Matsubokkuri Energy Arms.
He then inserted the Energy Lockseed straight into the Genesis Core and made his Budou Lockseed closed on it's own. This also caused his Budou Arms to reassembled back to its original form and went above him.
Ryugen then pushed down his Cutting Blade, opens up the two Lockseeds at the same time.
"MIX~!"
This cause both Budou Arms and Matsubokkuri Energy Arms to merge before glowing in a sphere and it re-emerged as a black oblong sphere marked with silver accents. It came back down onto his shoulder before beginning to open. The sides and the front folded together to make shoulder plates and a chest plate while the side around the chest plate would likewise fold out, giving the image of wearing a jinbaori. It was colored brown and patterned with pinecone, marked on the left side with his insignia.
The visor remained purple. The helmet attachment was the same except it black with silver accents. Splashes of mixed colors appear in his hand before forming into a black futuristic gun halberd.
"BUDOU ARMS! RYU, HOU, HA-HA-HA! JIMBER MATSUBOKKURI HAW-HAW!"
This is Kamen Rider Ryugen Jimber Matsubokkuri Arms.
"So that how it work…" Kamuro whispered to himself.
Ryugen pulled the gun and fire several shoots at the incoming Kurokage-Shin Troopers before sending them straight flying to the walls.
He then used the blade of his weapon to block the Kagematsu-Shin before shooting down more Kurokage-Shin Troopers send them flying backward. Ryugen the notices that Kamuro seem to have a bit trouble with the Troopers before offered his aid by shooting his rifle direct at the Troopers. There was a Kurokage Trooper try to sneak up on Ryugen from behind, but he end up being decapitated by the sharp blade of Ryugen's new rifle.
"Though it not a Sonic Arrow… but it work nicely." Ryugen said impressive, looking at his weapon.
Ryugen then turns around and he spotted Tyrant who trying to ambushed him with her Sonic Arrow. But he blocks the attack with his rifle blade.
"I will elimination you." Tyrant said darkly.
She fired several arrows with her Sonic Arrow at Ryugen. But to her surprise, Ryugen suddenly vanished into the shadow. "What the—"
Before her reaction can be fully shown, she was suddenly was shot behind by Ryugen.
"How is that even possible?" Tyrant questioned.
"Sorry… It a trade secret." Ryugen said.
Suddenly appearing onto Tyrant's side was more Kurokage Troopers, but they are piloted in the Suika Arms and riding Dandeliners before they fired their attacks at Ryugen.
But the Chinese theme Rider dodge the blows while countered with his own attacks. When two Dandeliners were about to attack, but Kamuro intervene by slashing the Kurokage Troopers off their rides.
"Hyuuga?" Ryugen asked, confused.
"I will thank you once for showing me an alternative, Ryugen." Kamuro said before removes his faceplate and placed the Genesis Core onto his Driver.
"PEACH ENERGY!"
"Eh? You too…?" Ryugen gawked in surprised.
Appearing above Kamuro was none other was a metallic peach known as Peach Energy Arms. The silver Rider then equipped the Energy Lockseed into the Genesis Core as it caused his Silver Lockseed to close. His Silver Arms disassembled before reappearing above his helmet.
Kamuro then pushed down his Cutting Blade to open both Lockseeds at the same time.
"MIX~!"
Soon the Silver Arms and Peach Energy Arms mixed to form the familiar black sphere with silver accent before it come down on Kamuro. He donned Jimber Arms identical to Ryugen's except the color was pink with peach slices. Kamuro brought out his hand as pink energy revealed a Sonic Arrow.
"SOIYA! SILVER ARMS! HAKUGIN NEW STAGE! JIMBER PEACH HAW-HAW!"
This is Kamen Rider Kamuro Jimber Peach Arms.
Kamuro did some practice swing with the sword a bit before he charge forward as he dodging the incoming attacks and slashing the Kurokage Troopers.
He then fired several more arrows direct at the enemies especially Tyrant herself. He also notes that he is not used to the weapon like Zangetsu-Shin and seek some advices from him later.
"Damn it…!" Tyrant cursed, pushing the lever of her Genesis Driver twice and she started to glow.
"SODA~! DRAGONFRUIT ENERGY SPARKLING!"
Ryugen saw this and then pushed down his Cutting Blade once.
"HAI~! BUDOU SQUASH! JIMBER MATSUBOKKURI SQUASH!"
Ryugen fired the halberd part of the rifle at Tyrant, but the Genesis Rider dodge the halberd when it hits the ground. Suddenly the blade part starting to glows with energy before web caught around Tyrant and the Kurokage Troopers.
"What is this?!" Tyrant bark angry, struggle of getting out of the energy net.
Kamuro then pushed down his Cutting Blade as well.
"SOIYA! SILVER SQUASH! JIMBER PEACH SQUASH!"
Kamuro brought up his Sonic Arrow as it glowing with silver and pink energy across the blade part before going into a battle stance.
Ryugen released a black and purple energy shoots while Kamuro delivered double slashes with his sword at the same time before they struck the enemies in their combined trap and explosion occurs.
Soon the explosion faded away as the two Riders were surprised to see Tyrant was still alive. She barely able to stand on her own and clenched the side of her stomach, some of her armor shows some cracks even lost her horn.
"This is not over…" Tyrant growl angry.
"Just give it up, I know you won't be able to last long enough in that form of yours." Ryugen said.
Before Kamuro could response, he suddenly hearing a menacing voice not far from where he and Ryugen were. The silver rider then push Ryugen to the ground with him from what looks like a dark crimson mist went passed them.
"What the hell is that?!" Ryugen exclaimed in shock.
Kamuro released more arrows at the unknown dark crimson mist, but the mist dodge the incoming attacks and come directly at him before sending multiple shocks at the silver rider. Then the silver rider skidding across the ground.
"No way...!" Ryugen cried out in disbelief. He then brought up his rifle and starting firing direct at the dark crimson mist.
(Back with Zangetsu-Shin)
Zangetsu-Shin seem to have a bit rough time with the odd against him after Jam revealed his toys to him. He jumps to avoid the Suika Sojinto and leap onto one of the Knightmare's shoulder before firing incoming arrows at the Suika Arms to cause them to explode.
Soon four Knightframes coming charging at him, but Zangetsu-Shin then press his Seaboll Compressor once.
"MELON ENERGY SQUASH!"
Zangetsu-Shin then let out a roar before he leaps into the air and unleashed multiply slashes in the process, making the Knightframe and Suika Arms exploded in the process.
He soon land on the ground in front of Ayano's cell as he notices a Suika Arms about to fire at him.
"Ayano, get back!" Zangetsu-Shin shout before dodging from the missile. Ayano nodded before she went to the back of the cell when the missile hits the bars of her cell.
Zangetsu-Shin got out an extra Suika Lockseed and equipped to his Sonic Arrows as he notices the Suika Arms coming closer.
"Let's see what you like when you have this…" Zangetsu-Shin said before pushing the Seaboll Compressor once.
"MELON ENERGY SQUASH!"
Zangetsu-Shin pulled back the string as energies gathering from his Driver and the Suika Lockseed connected to the tip formed a large arrow made of energy.
He then released the string before firing a large arrow direct at the mobile Suika Arms.
"SUIKA CHARGE!"
When the arrow hit them, it caused the Suika Arms to blow up including the ones close to them and making countless chains of explosives at the same time.
Ayano then hurry toward Zangetsu-Shin's side before the white Rider takes her hand and they start running through the hallway.
"That was overkilled…" Ayano said.
"Yeah, I know." Zangetsu-Shin said. "But there is something I need to ask you… what did I say to Nunnally when walking through corpses of Japanese?" he asked.
"You didn't tell her the truth and yet you still couldn't make yourself do it today." Ayano said. "Am I clear?"
"Sorry… I am just need to make sure." Zangetsu-Shin said before they stopped nearby. He soon returns her Driver and Blueberry Lockseed. "Here."
"Thanks… also thank you for saving me." Ayano said smiling, after taking back her stuffs.
"…Also sorry about what happens to your friends. You must missed them." Zangetsu-Shin said. Ayano have a downcast expression.
"I know… but I will save them." Ayano said with resolve.
"Listen, Ayano. If there was no other way. then-" Before Zangetsu-Shin finished his sentence, Ayano surprisingly intervene.
"I know what you're going to say, but I want to save that if anything else failed." Ayano said serious. "But if I ends up doing that, I will be no better than Suzaku-baka with his method. Is that what we wanted?" she asked.
The white Genesis Rider looks at her for a moment before chuckled. "Good. I thought you lost your resolve, but you didn't give up."
"Do you think that we will allow you two to escape?" A familiar voice asked before seeing both Bravo and Gridon appeared.
Behind them, there were Kurokage Troopers especially those who have extra Lockseeds to control the Inves but none of them are in Berserker stage.
"Yukiya… Ryo…" Ayano said.
"You guys aren't going anywhere especially the leader of Black Knight." Bravo said, looking at Zangetsu-Shin.
This made Zangetsu-Shin chuckled. "How arrogant… do you think that they will be enough to stop us from leaving?" he asked.
"Ryo… Yukiya… no matter what happens; I will save you even if it means to beat the senses back into you." Ayano said before placing on her Driver and takes out her Lockseed.
"BLUEBERRY!"
"…Henshin!" Ayano said.
"SOIYA! BLUEBERRY ARMS! AMENO GOMEN!"
After donned her Blueberry Arms, Ayano once again become Habakiri and got her weapons.
The Kurokage Troopers start by charging at them, but Zangetsu-Shin fired off his energy arrows directly at them and sending them flying. Bravo was going to attacks the white Rider, but Habakiri got in his way and countered him blow to blow before the two Riders bounce from each other.
"Nothing you will do going to make us stop from fulfill our mission from our master." Bravo said to Habakiri.
"Your master? I never thought that day you will let yourself being submitted to the bastard who ruined our live." Habakiri said before swing her swords directly at Bravo who blocked with his owns. However, what surprised Bravo when she used one of her sword to block her Dori Noko, before thrust her sword close to his helmet.
"If you don't remember me, then what about those fellow Japanese we gather in the past?! Don't you remember their faces?!" Habakiri said.
"Shut up! I don't need anyone else when I can beat you down!" Bravo retort before moving to the side and pushing down his Cutting Blade.
"DURIAN SQUASH!"
Bravo then throws his Dori Noko at Habakiri who dodges the blows before they returns back to his hands. He then charges at Habakiri as he try to push her straight to a wall. But Habakiri jumps out of the way and connect both of her weapons into one as she fend off against Bravo who blocked the attacks.
"What about that dream of finding a home for us? What happened to that, you jerk!? ANSWER ME, RYO SAYAMA!" Habakiri argued to the roman theme Rider.
When Bravo about to block the attack, but find himself could not before knock straight to the wall. Habakiri then turns around to see Gridon in Kiwi Arms and come charging at her.
Habakiri dodge before countered against the two large rings from Gridon before the two Riders pushed down their Cutting Blade at the same time.
"SOIYA! BLUEBERRY SQUASH!"
"COME ON! KIWI SQUASH!"
Gridon throws his two large rings while Habakiri spins her weapons to channel blue flames and deflects the attacks that kept come at her.
"Give it up. You won't last long." Gridon said before seeing the Kiwi Gekirins hit her and cause an explosion.
However, Habakiri charge straight through the smoke and ran to Gridon who did not expect as she slammed her fists straight to his helmet, sending him flying backward.
"Damn you…" Gridon growl angry before trying to get himself back up.
"If you have your sense, you could dodge it, Yukiya." Habakiri said.
Suddenly there was a large explosion across the wall as a large crimson mist with sinister yellow eyes appears.
"What the hell?" Bravo asked.
"What the?" Zangetsu-Shin asked, confused before looking back from blown up another one.
"Impossible… a Wild One?" Gridon asked, but Habakiri looks at him confused.
"Wild One?" Habakiri thought confused.
Soon the glowing crimson mist with yellow eyes let out a roar before come charging directly at Habakiri, Bravo, and Gridon before sending them flying across the ground.
"Oww… that hurt," Habakiri groan.
"You bastard!" Zangetsu-Shin growl before firing more energy arrows at the crimson mist.
But the arrows doesn't seem to affect it and looking back at Zangetsu-Shin, flying straight toward him. Zangetsu-Shin jumps to the side while continued to avoid the crimson mist, but he still trying to figure out what it is.
Could this be an Inves? But I don't recalled seen one this strong… Zangetsu-Shin thought serious. Before he can even dodge again, he finds himself not being able to move due to vines caught his legs.
"What!?" Zangetsu-Shin looks shocked before the crimson mist slammed into him and sending flying to the wall. This also cause sparks flying from his armor to the damages he taken.
Soon there was bunch of shoots at the crimson mist and Zangetsu-Shin turns around to see Ryugen and Kamuro. But he was even more surprised by their new forms as well.
"You two…!" Zangetsu-Shin uttered in surprised.
"When did you guys get upgrades too?" Habakiri questioned shock.
"Sorry about us being late. That mist thing giving us some shit." Ryugen said, points at the crimson mist.
"That isn't ordinary mist. Be on your guard." Kamuro said.
Soon the crimson mist trying to attack Kamuro and Ryugen, but the two Riders dodge out from the charging. Both Kamuro and Ryugen tried to attack the crimson mist once again, but it seem to dodging their attacks once again.
Ryugen then used his ability to jump into a shadow when it got too close. He then reappeared before firing shoots at the crimson mist.
"Damn, what is it going to take this revealed it true form?" Ryugen asked.
Kamuro then charge forward before he fired some arrows at the crimson fog, causing it to collapse on the floor.
They could see there was a shimmer form of figure in the crimson mist with sinister yellow glowing eyes growling at them.
"Who in the world are you?" Zangetsu-Shin demands.
The figure in the crimson mist let out something like a laughing before the yellow eyes glowing intense and caused vines to attack them.
This made the four Riders did their best of dodging the vines before they gets hit hard by an unexpected shockwave from the figure in the crimson mist.
Kamuro was about to fall backward when two arms got him and made him turns around to see Idunn.
"Commander… get away from here, this thing is too dangerous." Kamuro warned.
"I won't. But I can't let you guys die here." Idunn snapped serious.
"If we can combine our attacks, we might be able to do some damage to it." Zangetsu-Shin said. Though he fear it might not be enough, but hopeful distract for them to escape.
"That sound like it could." Ryugen said.
"I'm in as well." Habakiri said.
Both Kamuro and Idunn nodded.
But the figure in the crimson mist seem impatient before charging at them once again, forcing the Riders to dodge the tackle.
"SODA~! MELON ENERGY SPARKLING!"
"HAI~! BUDOU SPARKLING! JIMBER MATSUBOKKURI SPARKLING!"
"SOIYA! BLUEBERRY SPARKLING!"
"COME ON! RINGO SPARKLING!"
"SOIYA! SILVER SPARKLING! JIMBER PEACH SPARKLING!"
This made the Riders glowing as they trying to attack the figure in the crimson mist with their strongest attacks. Zangetsu-Shin and Habakiri were trying to swing their blades, but the crimson mist figure dodge. Ryugen try to fire the blade part of his gun to catch the mist but fail before Kamuro and Idunn try to swing their blades it.
Kamuro's visor starting to glow briefly red and growl before he and Zangetsu-Shin tries to ram hard at the figure in the crimson mist at the same time. Ryugen trying to fired his rifle at the crimson from another direction.
However, the figure in the crimson mist takes out something like a sword that caused all of the Riders been blows away and knocked them directly out of their transformations.
"Damn…" Lelouch cursed before struggles to get himself up.
The figure in the crimson mist looks at them struggling to get themselves back up. Rather than finished them, the figure suddenly shimmer and vanished completed into thin air.
"It left…?" Leila asked surprised.
"But did you guys saw that early?" Orpheus asked, getting his Lockseeds.
"Yeah… whoever they are, they were using a sword and they're powerful." Akito said. Far too powerful for his own taste and could end them when they wants.
Ayano looks around as she notices Bravo and Gridon are not around meaning that they left.
"I don't know about you guys… but we should get out of here." Lelouch said.
With that said, the groups continued running through the hallway without any attackers and left through the Crack. Unknown to them, Jam reappeared from the shadow and watching them leaving now.
"Who would have thought one of them shows… and he is involved with that fight." Jam mused. But it won't be long until they decide to make their move. And the search for the greatest power in the forest will began.

Also I made Jimber Matsubokkuri's ability is shadow traveling which is different from the supposed ninja abilities. But I give them different weapons than the usual Sonic Arrows.
