Ch23: Mission Gone Strange Part2
Within the ruin of the mountain, a lone figure was standing there and watching through a glass that shows him the image of Rai. His appearance lies in the shadow, but we can be certain that he is wore an armor and the armor is bloody red.
"So he is here…" The armored figure said in what sound like a voice scrambler.
Suddenly he hears footsteps and turned around to see Jam.
"So you're right that he was send here… the island where he was supposed to end." Jam said.
"After all… the Black Knights will be drawn into useful information about such advance technology. With new information, which lead to exposed them into dangers that they're unprepared for." The armored figure chided.
"See to it that this boy won't be allow to leave this island alive… if his existence is exposed to the entire world, there is no telling what it will do." Jam said.
"I will be fine. But don't you have your own plan for preparation if I recalled correction." The armored figure said.
Jam didn't say anything before he turned away and disappeared into the darkness already. The armored figure turns back to his attention focused on Rai and the two members of Black Knight.

(Instrument) The song begins with a full view of ruin building in Japan before the scene started with a ruined building with Zangetsu standing watching over the Tokyo settlement when the sun is set before the entire scene was replaced with the title.
Kodoku ni yureteru Emotion
The scene began with Lelouch yawning as he lying on the school yard as he thought about his past before Ayano appeared behind him which caused a scene of him being chased by Ayano around.
Itsu demo jidai no hadō ni nomikomarete
Unknown to them, Orpheus was chuckled at the scene with amusing before he and Akito spotted each other. The two stares at each other before they went on their separated paths with their Lockseeds in their hands.
Samayotteta setsunai kokoro
In his room, Rai holds tightly on the Orange Lockseed tightly as a memories of young girl flash in his mind. Soon the screen turns toward Gaim and he holds tightly on his Daidaimaru while looking at the viewers.
Just One Nation kizanderu I.D.
The scene changes to Helheim forest and shows Jam with dark aura.
Doko e mo ikenai jibun ga
Suddenly the scene changes to Japan starts being covered by Helheim forest and Inves began their invasion. This cause many civilian began to start run for their life, though Britannian soldiers try to fight against Inves, but they soon got overwhelm by the number of the creatures of in the forest.
Modokashikute kuyashikatta
Soon the scene changes to the Black Knight headquarter as the operative members monitor event going on.
Sore demo yume ni miteta
As the Inves got closed to them, Lelouch and his fellow Riders got out their Drivers. They soon locked their Lockseeds into their Drivers before they transformed and charge into battle.
Haruka tōku taiyō no shizumu oto ga suru
The Lancelot Club is seen race across the field while taking out large Inves and Britannia Knightframes at the same. Soon the scene focused on Zangetsu running at incredible speed slashing through Britannian soldiers and Inves alike while explosions occur around him.
Ano basho e yukō Sekai no hate made
Suddenly he becomes Zangetsu-Shin before getting out his Sonic Arrow and deliver a powerful slash to destroy an unknown Knightframe.
Dare yori tsuyoku naritai Jibun rashiku aru tame Dare ni mo yuzurenai Passion Ashita wo ikiru tame
Habakiri did a spin slash with her dual katanas; Ryugen firing several shots with his gun; Baron spins her Banaspear and thrust it forward; Kurokage spins his weapon; Knuckle pounced his Kurumi Bombers together.

Soon a Britannia airship dropped bombs on the city and caused the Riders to struggle in pain until Zangetsu-Shin shows up and destroyed it with his Finisher. The scene changes when Zangetsu-Shin and Jam spotted each other before they clashed with each other as sparks flying everywhere.
To Be Free
The scene changes to Lelouch and Ayano were walking together, then they turned around facing the screen, then it zooms out revealing Rai, Kallen, Nunnally, Orpheus and Akito along with several members of Black Knights.
Rai, Urabe, and Chiba immediately got off the submarine after getting what they need in order to fulfill their infiltration mission on Kamine Island. The mission to confirmed Camelot's possibility new knightmare with a prototype developed float system.
While they're going on their mission, Zangetsu and others are going on their own mission on the other island.
"It looks like it will be us three here," Urabe said after seeing the submarine leaving the area and going beneath the water.
"So where the Camelot group would be?" Chiba asked to Rai.
"If I have to make a guest… that it will be likely in some cavern areas," Rai respond. Before they left, Rai take time of learning about the structures on Kamine Island. "It will be way too obvious if it was in the woods." He added.
"That is good to know." Urabe remarked, "We better be on our way."
Without anything to say, they soon start their investigating on Kamine Island for the activities of Camelot Company. While they're focused on their search, Rai cannot help having a strange feeling of nostalgic in his stomach. And it focused on this place. Kamine Island.
There is something familiar about this place for the silver hair young man. Rai cannot help have a feeling that he either knows this place… or been here before.
Rai's eyes suddenly went wide before a strange vision coming into his mind.
The vision shows a small blonde hair child bringing a chained Rai to the island with a pair of guards and sealed him in one of the cavern with glowing runes. Soon the vision was cut short as Rai regained his sense while seeing Chiba and Urabe went ahead of him.
That is right… Rai thought as he looking around the surroundings of the island. 'After he deemed I was unsuitable… I was sealed here and somehow I wander up in front of Ashford academy where Lelouch and Kallen find me.' The silver hair teen thought serious. But why this island anyway? Most of all, how did he get off the island in the first place? He would need to have a boat at least.
"Hey, what is the holdup?" Urabe asked, noticing that Rai was in deep thoughts.
"I'm fine." Rai said. Not only they come to stop Camelot activity, but Rai is determined to find out how important this island was to him.
Meanwhile on the other part of Kamine Island, Orpheus dropped himself out of his Knightmare and looks around the island carefully. He doubts that the Camelot Facility would have the full island under surveillance.
"If the research facility supposed to be here, then I better going to the cave." Orpheus said before he activated the Rose Attacker Lockseed.
Soon the Rose Attacker materialized out before him and he got on his bike as his hands revered the motorcycle bars. Orpheus soon began his searching through the forest of the entire island itself. So far, he didn't find any signs that resembled civilization yet.
But it wasn't until a familiar spear trying to impale him got in his way and made Orpheus turned his bike away as he spotted a trio of Kurokage Troopers following him in pursuing.
"It looks like there is something interesting on this island…" Orpheus remarked before he takes out three Donguri Lockseeds and opened them. "Get them, boys!" he said before he tossed the Lockseeds into the air.
Soon enough, the Cracks opened and leaving the Kurokage Troopers with dealing against three Shika Inves, looking quite hungry at them and pursuing the Kurokage Troopers with no remorse.
The three Shika Inves stop them from continued their pursued of Orpheus by destroying their motorcycles and forcing the Kurokage Troopers to fall off their bikes.
However, Orpheus wasn't out of the danger yet— when he saw three large mechanical watermelons are rolling in front of him.
"Shit!" Orpheus cursed angrily before he turned his bike away from the path of the first one and continued accelerated away from them.
Soon the three Suika Arms morphed into their aircraft modes and starting to shooting down on them. Orpheus was trying hard to avoiding them by accelerating forward before his bike was sent flying straight into the air with him along.
Orpheus quickly got out his Suika Arms and activated it.
"SUIKA!"
"Henshin…!" Orpheus shouts before he appeared in his Rider suit.
"HAI~! SUIKA ARMS! ODAMA BIG BANG!"
Soon Ryugen landed safety in his Suika Arms and began to roll out of from the explosion intent for him.
Meanwhile there was a small number of Britannia soldiers patrolling nearby who noticed the explosion.
"What in the world was that explosion? Do you think we should inform Prince Schniezel?"
But one of the soldiers soon hear something from the radio. "This is bad! Shikine Island being attacked and Prince Schniezel need us to assist with secured her Highness Princess Euphemia!"
"Alright… I will let him know about this before we head there."
Back on the Black Knights' submarine, a group of Burai returned with the main objective of their mission on Shikine Island. The Lancelot Knightmare that pilot by the traitor to Japan. The members of Black Knights haul the white knightmare into the submarine by using their Knightmares.
"It hard to believe you guys got it!"
"It also thanks to Kosaka-san for her help."
It wasn't long until the technicians hurry toward the Lancelot. Their assign job is checking the Lancelot for any trackers or self-destruction devices. Just because they got their enemies' machine, it doesn't mean that they will be off the hook yet.
Now the Black Knights must wait for their leader and the remaining members to return from their mission. But they didn't know something strange and unforeseen event would happened.
"It looks we aren't the only ones on the island." Urabe said after spotting the explosions not far from where they are.
The three members taking an hour break from walking through the forest and ends up on a cliff side. This give them a grasp on how big Kamine island when they were assigned for the mission.
"So do we need to check it out?" Chiba asked to Rai.
Rai was looking through his binocular. "Whatever going on… It does not involved us." He said. "But I can tell that the Britannian soldiers seem to be moving on a ship."
"Sound like Zangetsu is right on the mark about how they will race to help their Princess from stress." Urabe said.
It wasn't long until Urabe decide to bring up something to ease the break hour and possibility learned something new.
"So what's it like?" Urabe asked.
This made Rai looks back at him with confused.
"What do you mean?" Rai asked, confused.
"To have power… you Riders are something that we never have before Zangetsu show up." Urabe clarified. "Being able to deflect bullets and do things that are impossible."
This made Rai chuckled. "True… but we shouldn't relied on the abilities of the armor unless things need."
"What do you mean?" Chiba asked sudden. "Many in the JLF are envisions that you guys can do things we cannot done or we would've taken back Japan earlier."
"True, but that power has certain responsibilities with it." Rai explains vaguely. "Just because we possessed the armors, we still need training in other things. Beside Zangetsu is the only one in the group who actually know archery before gaining his Genesis Driver." He continued.
"True… none of our members except for Colonel who used to practice archery." Urabe admit.
"We pretty much used to guns and Knightmare than bows as we have no need for them." Chiba responds cold.
It wasn't long until Rai resumed the searching across the island.
This made the silver hair young man feel impatient with nothing to show for. But he also wishes to find something that can help him and his past as well.
He then finds something unusually far from where he and others were.
"What in the world!?" This seems to catch Chiba and Urabe's attention before they saw what looks like a large airship emerging not far from the woods.
"A Britannian Airship here?" Chiba blinks in surprised.
"Wonder who could it belong to? It seems taking off straight to somewhere… The only place I can think of is Shikine Island." Urabe wondered curious.
"But if I have to guess… that place is where we can find the source of Zangetsu's mission." Rai said.
"So what should we do now?" Chiba asked.
"By the time we go there, it will be too dark. How about we camp out for the night?" Rai suggested to the two.
"Fine by me." Urabe answered.
(Next day)
They didn't expect that anyone would be coming when they were on patrolling outside of the cave where the researchers went. But it wasn't until one of them were snipe down from afar that made the other one being alert.
"Shit!" The Britannia soldier cursed before tried to reach for his communicator.
But Urabe emerged from the bushes and stabbed him with his military knife in his hand.
"Sorry, but you aren't going to call anyone." He said before watching the soldier fall to the ground.
Emerging out of the bushes were Chiba and Rai before helping Urabe moving the dead soldiers out of the way.
"Let's go in now." Chiba said.
"But we will need to keep our guards up," Rai said as he already placing his Sengoku Driver on his waist beneath his Black Knight jacket.
The trio members of the Black Knight soon moved through the cave-like passage.
Soon they come across a group of Britannia soldiers.
"It's the Black Knights!" One of Britannia soldiers said, recognized the mark on their uniform.
The soldiers soon got out their guns, but Rai got out his Orange Lockseed.
"ORANGE!"
"Henshin!" Shout Rai serious.
"SOIYA! ORANGE ARMS! HANAMICHI ON STAGE!"
Soon Rai donned his armor as Gaim and took on the bullets for his two teammates and cuts them down with his Daidaimaru.
"Not bad, kid." Urabe remarked at the orange samurai.
But more Britannian soldiers emerging, this promoted Chiba and Urabe took out their pistols and start shooting them down.
"Let's keep going." Gaim said to the others.
The three continued moving their way through while fighting any Britannian soldiers that they come across. It wasn't long until they come across what looks like a lab and hearing the sound of keyboarding been pressing immediately.
"…This should do it." A quiet voice said, but Gaim is certain that he hears the voice somewhere before.
Gaim and the two marched quietly before they reach a corner of the wall. There they saw a figure in the dark busy with typing on the computer.
"Freeze!" Gaim shouts before emerging with his Musou Saber gun pointed at the one who stood at the keyboards…
"You should think better than that, Rai." Ryugen said as he pointed his Budou Ryuhou at Gaim's chest.
"R-Ryugen…?!" Gaim gasped in surprised. "What are you doing here?" Even the two members of Black Knights were surprised to see another Kamen Rider here but the one helped them awhile back.
"I should ask the same for you three." Ryugen stated. "Well?"
"Did Zangetsu send you here?" Gaim asked as this made Ryugen looks confused.
"No. I'm here to steal data from the Camelot Company due to Peace Mark want them." The Chinese theme Rider answered.
"Are you talking about the flight technology Knightmare?" Gaim asked as this made Ryugen looks surprised.
"Okay… this is kind of odd. Don't you think? Both of our organization find out the same thing and come after it… I didn't told your Boss that I came here to steal it." Ryugen asked.
"That is certainly odd…" Gaim agreed with his fellow Rider's logical.
"But we still need to collect the data." Chiba insists. "Hand it over."
Ryugen contemplated the problem before him. Both the Black Knights and Peace Mark want the same thing, though he is more with Peace Mark. He then thought about an idea.
"Won't the real thing be better for you guys than the data?" Ryugen asked.
"What do you mean?" Chiba clarified.
"I mean the Knightframe with the real thing. It will be sufficient enough for you guys to sinker your teeth into." Ryugen suggested. He didn't need another flying Knightmare when he got Draco.
"But the thing is that we don't know where exactly they put it after we saw one of their airship left." Gaim pointed out.
"Sorry… but I still cannot let you take the data." Ryugen insist before he saw something sparkling not far from where he was and jump out of the way when the arrow destroyed the computer behind him.
This made Gaim, Chiba, and Urabe looks surprised at the sudden attack that came out of nowhere.
"What did that…?" Gaim wondered.
"That would be none other than me." A voice said.
Soon everyone turned around and saw what looks like another Rider. But this Rider is certainly different compared to Ryugen and Gaim. The Rider Wear suit was black with silver armor on the limbs. There is a Sengoku Driver around the person's waist, but what SURPRISING was there are two regular Lockseeds and one of them happened to be a Blood Orange Lockseed. The body armor was blood red and silver with the chest piece and right pauldrons resembling the using the Ringo Lockseed. The left pauldrons was different, hanging from his shoulder, and not spiked upward like the right pauldrons, giving the assailant an asymmetrical appearance. The helmet resembled a knight's helm that had a crown on top. Finally, the mouthplate had bloodied bandages wrapped around it. In hand was a black Sonic Arrow.
"Another Rider?!" Chiba exclaimed in surprised.
"I'm Blood Saver." The armored figure introduced before pointed his black Sonic Arrow. "I will cleanse of those who show resistant against the salvation of humanity!" he declared.
"If you are talking about the Scalar Plan, then you know that not many will approve of such thing!" Gaim shouts serious, drawing his Daidaimaru and Musou Saber.
"That can be arranged!" Blood Saver said as he charged against them.
Gaim responds in kind and met his charge in head-on. Musou Saber and the Sonic Arrow-look alike clashed against each other, with sparks flying in contact. Gaim try to swing his Daidaimaru before Blood Saver revealed his Red Daidaimaru in the process before he kicked Gaim back.
Ryugen then pulled out his Budou Ryuhou and firing several blasts at him, but Blood Saver rolled out of the way before he pulled back his Sonic Arrow-look alike and firing arrows which Ryugen and others avoided.
"If you want to fight in a long range… then you should not go against me." Ryugen soon switched his faceplate with his Genesis Core before getting out his Matsubokkuri Energy Lockseed.
"MATSUBOKKURI ENERGY~!"
Soon his Budou Lockseed closed as Ryugen inserted his Matsubokkuri Energy Lockseed into his Genesis Core. He then pressed down on his Cutting Blade to open both Lockseeds.
"MIX~!"
"HAI~! BUDOU ARMS! RYU, HOU, HA-HA-HA! JIMBER MATSUBOKKURI! HAW-HAW!"
Ryugen soon donned his Jimber Matsubokkuri and his rifle in his hand before firing rapid shots at Blood Saver who was caught in surprised by the incoming attacks.
This left Gaim and others in surprised at the new form that Ryugen possessed and the weapon in his hand.
"HAI~! BUDOU AU LAIT! JIMBER MATSUBOKKURI AU LAIT!"
"Bang…" Ryugen said before fire rapid shots at Blood Saver and sending him straight backward.
"SOIYA! ORANGE SQUASH!"
Gaim soon charged forward before jumped into the air, engulfed by an orange energy passing through a line of orange slices with a high concentration of orange energy focused on his root foot as he strikes Bloody Saver with a powerful kick.
"Dang… there is no way that he can survived that." Urabe remarked.
"Do you think that this is enough to take me down?" A familiar voice asked as this made the two Riders and others looked shock at Bloody Saver. The mysterious armored being is still standing where he was before.
After taking blows from two Riders, Bloody Saver shows that his armor didn't have any damages on him.
"How?" Gaim gasped.
Bloody Saver soon pressed down on his Cutting Blade once.
"HA! BLOOD ZAKURO SQUASH! BLOOD ORANGE SQUASH!"
Bloody Saver swings his Red Daidaimaru and released a powerful crimson energy slash at them before an explosion happened.
"Did anyone of you find him yet?" Jam questioned serious.
"Not yet, sir."
Jam is waiting impatiently in the security room and waiting for his workers to locate the leader of the Black Knights. The black Rider can't help feeling furious right now. Apparently, Zangetsu and his associate were able to slip through Jam's well-thought up plan for them being wrapped to the other island.
"Lord Jam! I find one of the wild one!" One of his workers said as this got Jam's attention and approached the footage of the camera.
Jam saw what looks like a red humanoid like being. It certainly fit what he know of the ones who resident in the dead world. But what the red humanoid was carrying is someone that left Jam in completed shock and disbelief. The one who was carried was none other than Princess Euphemia.
"That just great…" Jam remarked sarcastically. Just when he thought his plan for making Zangetsu suffering beyond his reach. But he won't let a chance like this to ruin him completely.
He soon got out his communicator and pressed the button.
"Bravo. Gridon. I want you and your men head out to section J-15. There is a Wild One appeared now. I want you lot to detain the target and possible retrieved a woman in it's grasp." Jam said before he turns off his communicator.
He soon turns around and approached a pair of Kurokage Troopers. They saluted to Jam before he conducted his business.
"I need you two head for Kamine Island and retrieved something for me." Jam ordered.
Meanwhile, the large airship that left early from Kamine Island, just made it back to the original destination on Kamine Island like before.
Soon emerging out of the airship was a very tall man with corn-silk blonde hair that falls across the back of his neck, and cold, violet eyes.
"Welcome back, your highness." The guards said with a saluted.
"Now, will you take us to the place that caught Clovis's attention?" The blonde hair man inquired to the man next to him.
"Of course, Prince Schneizel." A large man with darkened skin replied.
(Back in the fight)
The explosion soon caused the four rolling across the floor while Bloody Saver looking down on them.
"Is this all you can put up with?" Bloody Saver remarked as Gaim struggling to get up.
"Especially you… boy. What do you have left in this cruel world to live for? You're just like your father, both of you have weak resolve." Bloody Saver stated stiffened.
"How do you know me?" Gaim asked confused.
"So you haven't recovered all of your memories. But it might be better you never remember at all." Bloody Saver replied.
"I'm not going down here…" Ryugen said, getting himself back up from the ground.
"Oh, what can't you do?" Bloody Saver asked.
"Something that you won't imagined." Ryugen said before taking out his Knightframe Lockseed and inserted to his Shadow Rifle.
"LOCK ON!"
This caused Ryugen felt a jolt of electric in his arms, but Ryugen let out a small groan before pointed his weapon at him.
"Let's see if you can recovered from this…" Ryugen said before pulled the trigger.
Soon the Shadow Rifle released a wide range of energy blast at Bloody Saver who didn't do anything and caused quite an explosion in the cavern. But that wasn't the only thing that was caught in the explosion as the wall and ceiling of the cavern crumbling as well.
"That just great…" Chiba remarked sarcastically as she and Urabe following the Riders when they went further through the cavern to avoiding the collapse.
In another part of the cave, Schneizel and his team which including his guards with his assistant Kanon, Bartley, and Lloyd were looking over at an artifact that was called a Thought Elevator.
"A Thought Elevator you say," Lloyd said, "I'm afraid archeology isn't my strong point especially this paranormal stuff."
"Why you… show some respect," Bartley berated.
"As I was saying," Lloyd continued, "this is way outside of my league. It would have been better to ask Miss Cecile for this instead."
"Please don't complain so much," Schneizel said annoyed, "my father is infatuated to this as well," The second prince turned toward Bartley, "Isn't that right, Bartley?"
"Yes, it is true." Bartley answered. "We found artifacts similar to these in a number of places all over the world except for this one I discovered, all of the other sites are directly under imperial control. Now, this is mere speculation on my part but I believe that real reason we're invading other countries is to obtain these artifacts."
"And so," Lloyd said as he looked at the black Knightmare Frame with a gold color scheme that was guarded by three foot soldiers, "in order to analyze this ancient occult data, you intend to use the Gawain's Druid System, an untuned prototype that is."
"This is exactly why we called you Earl Asplund," Kanon said.
"Aha!"
It wasn't long until Gaim, Ryugen, Urabe, and Chiba managed to make it through another tunnel.
"I think that we lost him for good." Ryugen said.
"There is no way that someone can survived from a blow like that…" Urabe remarked.
"So what is your connection with that guy?" Chiba asked with a suspicious glare toward Gaim who tried to catch his breathes.
"I had no idea… I don't remember much of my past…" Gaim admit.
"He is telling the truth. Even since we met him… he still hadn't got his memories back." Ryugen stated as he looking around the place. This place is certainly different from the lab that he uncovered.
"Where in the world are we?" The Rider pondered confused at the ruin city that they come across.
"I didn't know there is something like this here…" Urabe remarked surprised as he looks at the stone buildings in here. "I bet that those Britannia never reached this part of the cavern."
"But the question is how are we going to get out of here?" Chiba asked.
"There have to be another way out of here…" Ryugen said.
Gaim soon got out of his thoughts before he help looking for a way out of this strange place. But he finds no sights of any passage ways. However, he can't help having this weird feeling in his chest. Like he been here before…
However, his eyes soon noticed an odd stone like a cube on a strange stone like pedestal. But what caught his attention that it has an upside down Geass Sigil mark on it.
For some reason, the cube draws his attention.
"What in the world is this?" Gaim wondered before he approached it and touched it.
Suddenly the mark on the strange cube, starting glows blue. It wasn't long until Gaim received a painful shock from the cube and let out a painful scream as he reversed back to his human form.
This got Chiba, Urabe, and Ryugen's attention before they hurry toward Rai's side.
"What the hell is going on!?" Chiba questioned shock.
"Gaim, are you okay!?" Ryugen asked, surprised by what happened to him.
It wasn't long until Rai collapsed to the ground before Urabe was the one who caught him before he fell to the ground.
"What in the world is that thing?" Urabe asked, pointed to the cube with strange mark.
"Never seen anything like that either…" Ryugen comment in awe. He never seen anything like this when he escaped the hellhole.
But it wasn't long until the cube glow and wrapped the group to a different location. They soon find themselves stand on a platform where Schneizel and others were.
"Shit!" Ryugen cursed.
"Britannian soldiers!" Chiba said, getting her guns.
"The Kamen Rider and the Black Knights!" Lloyd recognized.
Schneizel looks at them before his attention soon focused on Rai, who slowly regained his consciousness. Something about the young silver hair man caused a trigger something in the Second Prince of Britannia.
"M-My head feel like it in hell…" Rai muttered.
"It cannot be!" Schneizel gasped in shock. "Wesley…!"
"Your Highness, did you just say Wesley?!" Kanon gawked at his Prince. Both Lloyd and Bartley shared confused expression.
"Who is Wesley?" Bartley asked.
Huh? Is that really Rai's real name? Ryugen thought surprised. Though he never imagined that Lelouch's half-brother would know something about Rai.
"Wesley?" Chiba and Urabe asked before Rai's eyes went wide.
"Where in the world are we?" Rai asked before looking down to see Schneizel who looks back at him with disbelief look.
"So you're alive after all this time…" Schneizel said, shocked.
Suddenly the soldiers pointed their rifles at them and pulled the trigger, Ryugen managed to get his Knightframe Lockseed activated immediately.
Soon they were protected by Draco who materialized out of nowhere as Ryugen picked up the strange cube in his arm.
Rai soon shake himself and noticed the black Knightmare Gawain nearby.
"Chiba, Urabe, there's a Knightmare over there!" Rai said, pointing at the Gawain. "We can used that to escape!"
This made the two members look pleased that they have a way out of the place.
"Looks like we're done here!" Ryugen said before shooting at the soldiers, "Get going now!"
Rai, Chiba, and Urabe soon ran for the Gawain. Rai got in the Knightmare and trying to work out the things while Chiba and Urabe are taking out shooters with their guns.
"Here goes…" Rai said before the Gawain started moving. Chiba and Urabe soon jumped onto the shoulders of the Knightmare.
"No! Not the Gawain too!" Lloyd screamed.
"Get it back!" Bartley ordered the soldiers, "Stop them! We can't let it fall in Zangetsu's hands!"
Soon Sutherlands were rushing toward the cave with the intent to stop Gawain from leaving.
"Hey kid, they're going to cornered us!" Urabe shouts.
"Yeah, I know… but we're going to get out of here alive." Rai said, making the two look confused. He then activated Gawain's special weapons, the Hadron Cannon and fired at the Sutherlands. This surprised the two on the Gawain even Ryugen himself.
"The weapons aren't perfect…" Rai noted as he checking the programs. 'It looks like we will return with our mission completed.' He thought to himself.
Ryugen soon got on his Draco and summoned a Crack before vanishing through it, then the Crack was closed in the process.
Back with Gawain, the black and gold Knightmare rushing through the cave before greeted by more Sutherlands with more rifles aiming at them.
"More incoming!" Chiba informed serious. Within the Gawain, Rai just let out a grin upon his face.
"Don't worry, just hold on tight!" Rai said excited before pulled the levers.
It wasn't long until Gawain soon took off into the air before and leaving the cave and the Sutherlands behind.
"Hey, we're in the air!" Urabe said with amazed.
Chiba remain calm compared to her fellow member. "So this is the prototype flight Knightmare we were looking for…"
"This is pretty amazing," Rai muttered to himself.
But there is a part of him feeling trouble after they escaped. How does Schneizel know him and how does he know his real name?
Bloody Saver is currently talking with VV in what looks like a lab. The two were discussing about what happened.
"I see. So the Black Knights got their hands on the Princess…" Bloody Saver said. "I am surprised that you didn't see that one coming."
VV scoffed. "Don't mind me. You says that you were going to take care of those two, why did you let them leave?" Though the Princess is infected with the Helheim virus, it too bad that he can't have another test subject to experiment on.
"I think it will be fine. Beside I am certain that they will help us reaching the ultimate prize even if they don't want. The Overlord Inves are truly off the chart in term of power." Bloody Saver replied.
"Tell me something… who is that in there?" Bloody Saver asked, pointed to the being in a sleeping pod. The blonde immortal seems to be interested in whoever resting in there.
"The next time I see Zangetsu, he won't be able to escape from what I'm planning next. I may not have Euphemia, but he will do." VV said as he looking back at the sleeping pod.
There is a chilling smirk appeared on the face of the immortal midget.
Back on the Black Knights' submarine, Lelouch is standing with the members of his organization in the meeting hall. The only ones who were present for the meeting was Rakshata who is busy with her new toys to research and Ayano is watching over her friends. Not to mention he assigned Sigurd with the job of watching over Euphemia.
"Well done on the mission, you three." Lelouch said. Not only they stolen the Lancelot, but they also obtain a Knightframe with flight capability that will be put into good use for their growing force.
"Sorry about the bumping landing into the submarine…" Rai apologized.
"The Gawain was still far from being perfect when it comes to landing." Lelouch said with nonchalantly expression.
"So you weren't aware that Ryugen tried to obtain the data from Camelot?" Chiba asked, want to be clear with Lelouch about it.
"Yes, I am certainly unaware of how things will turned out…" Lelouch replied before looking at Rai, "but I am surprised that Schneizel knows you. There is a possibility that your life in Ashford Academy might be endanger if he was looking for you now." He said stern.
Soon Rai spoked up. "There is something I want to confess for a while, Lelouch." He looking at the raven hair teen with an uncomfortable expression. "Since my Rider armor returns back to it's original colors." He said quietly and soft.
"Rai?" Kallen asked, looking confused.
"Is there something you kept hiding?" Todoh asked, caution.
"I remember who I was before... I lost my memories… I choose to not say anything because who my father is." Rai replied, uncomfortable.
'Your father…?' Lelouch raised an eyebrow suspicious.
"Rai, who exactly is your father?" Ohgi asked, confused.
"Rai isn't my real name… my original name is Wesley eu Britannia, son of… Odysseus eu Britannia and Shizuka Kururugi." Rai answered, making everyone looks shocked at him.
Lelouch's eyes went wide when hearing the name of Rai's real father. "O-Odysseus is your father!?" he exclaimed disbelief.
It wasn't just him who is flipped by the information as the members of Black Knights were uttered speechless.
"SAY WHAT!?"
"H-He is a prince too!?"
"What the hell!?" Kallen exclaimed in shock.
"Impossible…!" Diethard stares at Rai with wide eyes.
But the one who is more shock and couldn't speak was Lelouch. His expression remained the same after finding out about the name of Rai's father and possibility connection to him. He can't barely move an inch or even processed his thoughts after hearing Rai's true heritage. How could he when his gifted brain felt like melting in a microwave and struggle to rebuilding itself?
The former prince of Britannia was certainly not prepared for this kind of revelation!
