With creation comes civilization, and the new world was no exception. To inhabit and experience the Original One's masterpiece, he created the Mew species. They were numerous creatures. In fact, the population of Mews before the creation of Terra, or Earth, were at one point the highest population of an intelligent, single species, clocking in more than fifteen quadrillion. Interestingly, the Mews did not rely on mating to reproduce. Instead, they worked for the Original One for their happiness and his satisfaction. Whenever asked, the Original One gave the Mews a single prize. These prized included tools to help in more work, toys for entertainment, and the holy grail to all of them, a baby Mew.
The first baby Mew, dubbed Azmesux, was raised by his father, Port, and his mother, Evel. Evel was the first shiny Mew, so she was sought out by every male Mew, but Port did not love Evel for her uniqueness. Instead, Port loved Evel for her dedication to pleasing everyone around her, not just the Original One. Evel loved Port's quality of looking for personality and not looks, so the Original One gave the first important couple the first important child.
Azmesux grew up in a unique way. All of the other Mews lived in their Mew Huts, soft half-spheres with only a door, only to come out for school to learn about the Original One. Instead Azmesux was hidden away after Evel's unfortunate encounter with one of the Forbidden One's wrath holes, wormholes ripped to connect the Distortion World and the Original One's dimension, Arceus. When the Forbidden escaped from one of his wrath holes, Evel tried to stop him, but she was never seen from again. Port was devastated, and seeked out the Original One for guidance.
"Oh, my partner has fallen, and my baby is ten years from maturing. What shall I do?" Port asked the Original One.
The Original One pitied him, for none had experienced death yet. "She will never recover, for her falling is something even I may not fix, for it is a mark that the Forbidden has forever left on this world. However, your baby will stay with me for the time being, and you may see him."
Port was pleased with this result, and became the embodiment of hope after his mysterious death. Some say his spirit lived on as Victini, but no one is quite sure when Victini appeared.
After 9 years of teaching, Azmesux was almost ready to enter society, but he did not want to live a normal life, haunted by the loss of his parents.
"I wish to become the guardian of the Forbidden." Azmesux asked the Original One.
Stunned by this request, the Original One smiled. "Justice is a grand feeling, and you have learned enough as to how you can avoid facing Evel's passing. I shall grant you the powers to guard." Azmesux was split into three souls, Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie.
"To fulfill more roles, I shall give Azelf the powers of will, Mesprit the powers of knowledge, and Uxie the powers of emotion." The Original One gave each of them defining qualities.
"You shall be linked by the gemstones on your foreheads." The Original One had given the three telepathic powers within each other. Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit smiled, all at the same time.
The Guardians formed a triangle around the Original, flew upwards, and sealed each wrath hole. This energy weakened the three, so Arceus created Terra.
At first, Terra contained nothing but fresh water and the region known as Sinnoh, but the Original One will be given plenty more reasons why he should create the other five major regions.
