Stupidly Quick Author's Note: This chapter contains a conversation with both telepathy and conversation of the tongue. To help distinguish, I've taken the liberty of maintaining quotation marks for tongue (""), and using exponents(^^). I imagine I'll do this again later in the story, so for now keep this in mind.

Celestic Town was in ruins. Wiped from the face of Terra, there were only a few survivors remaining. These survivors included a young, 8 year old Cyrus. His short, light blue hair was one of the few hints of color on his body, outside of his pale skin. His body was adorned with white robes, brown belt, and brown sash. His eyes stood out, however, as they were a brilliant green.

There were only two other survivors: a girl of age 7 in blue robes named Mara, and a boy in orange robes of age 10 named Siroire. Their survival was only possible from their dexterity and stealth, allowing them to avoid individual Wrath Holes. There were other children who possessed these talents, but only Cyrus, Mara, and Siroire were swift enough to escape the final, giant Wrath Hole by finding refuge into the Cave of Prophecy, where The Original One first wrote of the birth of Terra.

The final Wrath Hole raged on, Cyrus bathing in fear. Mara was crying and, as the only emotionally stable one there, Siroire did his best to calm Mara. When it finally closed, Cyrus and Mara had calmed down, but their painful feelings still persisted.

For 20 minutes, nothing.

Siroire had finally broken the silence. "I think we'd best move out."

"What about our Pokemon?" Mara asked.

"Unless your or Cyrus have any," Siroire answered solemnly, "We only have Redding..." Redding was Siroire's family guard; a Gallade.

"We... we can make this work." Cyrus said. "We just need a plan."

"I don't know anything outside of home." Mara answered swiftly.

"I've heard stories," Siroire explained. "of the influence that the 3 Great Lakes on people. Each house a legendary Pokemon. Perhaps it will allow us direct contact with The Original One."

Cyrus thought it a good idea, but Mara needed a little bit of explaining from Siroire about what the Original One was, as it is with young children.

As a result, they were forced to embark on a large journey. Their travels brought them from Central Sinnoh to West Sinnoh, towards Lake Verity.

It had been 3 years. Cyrus was now 11, Siroire was 13, and Mara was 10. Their robes were mostly clean, but Mara's hair had been dyed green due to extended period of time with Nature. She had gotten over the sadness of her past, but Cyrus still had nightmares every day, and had given up on Siroire's stories of Cresselia.

The trio found a cave, and ventured inside. Finally, they saw it: Mesprit, the Entity of Emotion.

Siroire walked slowly towards the creature, but Cyrus was impatient. He had charged into Mesprit's direction, but not with the intention of harm. Mesprit turned around, and then...

There was a flash.

Siroire blocked his eyes with his forearm, and Mara looked away, despite the fact that the light would not harm them. It would only affect Cyrus.

Cyrus was now devoid of emotion; devoid of fear. The shock had paralyzed him, however, and he fell to the ground, unresponsive and eyes closed.

"Is he...?" Mara asked, before being interrupted by a telepathic message from Mesprit.

^No..^ Mesprit answered. ^He lives. I only took from him what he doesn't deserve.^

"You took his emotion?" Siroire replied, shocked.

^Yes,^ Mesprit said. ^He does not deserve it. I do not care what you came for, so leave now or else you'll suffer the fate of your friend. Do not approach, but do not worry about your friend. I will keep him alive until The Original One deals with him. You shall see him soon.^ Mesprit did nothing afterwards.

With much reluctance, the remaining two left, returning to the ruins of Celestic Town, rebuilding it. After many years, Mara and Siroire had a private wedding and eventually became the ancestors of Legendary Trainer Cynthia.

As for Cyrus, his body had been preserved, and mind perfectly intact, excluding the missing emotions. Due to The Original One's continuing sleep, he had been trapped in limbo, his soul neither in Terra, Antimatter, or even Arceus. Cyrus had found something... different. Living on for millenia, his soul still bound to mind and knowing of his body, he had found something... different. Something... new. Something... beautiful. He had called it Null, and he believed he could make something out of it once he had awaken once more.

No matter the threat Cyrus posed to Sinnoh, it was nothing compared to the threat Kyurem had on Unova, and possibly even the rest of Terra.
