"Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you our faithful leader, fair and just in her dealings, wise in her ruling and powerful in her protection!" A voice rang out. Blaze stopped and turned around to see them. "Have your attention, do I?" The large gray wolf taunted. Blaze walked towards him, her fists clenched in anger. She threw a punch at his jaw, flames singing the hairs off of his face in its wake. The grey wolf staggered backwards. "An impressive attack;" he spit out a tooth. "But is that how you deal with your dissidents? I thought you threw them into prison without trial, without bail, and without hope of release. Or, I suppose, you do give them a trial; if you can honestly call what Atticus received a trial. No one there but you, him, and a judge to witness it." Blaze restrained herself as best she could from hitting him again as she noticed the crowd forming around them. "Who knows how many more you've treated that way."

He turned to the crowd and spoke as loudly as he could. "Who knows which of us is next. She's become judge and jury; all that's left is to become the executioner and we *all* know that it's not far off. All of you, see what she's doing now. See how her temper can arise at a moments notice. Is this who we want leading us?" The crowd began to yell in disapproval around them. Blaze looked around, starting to panic. "Is this who we want to lead us?" He repeated.

Blaze reached with her hand and wrapped it around his snout, muffling his cries of pain as the smoke from his burning fur came out from around her hand. She pressed him against a lamppost and held him there, his cries turning to frantic screaming as she burned into his skin. Her body ignited into flame as her rage overtook her, enveloping both herself and her captive. She channeled it all into her other hand as she punched his body again and again and again until he fell to the ground, still burning as his writhing limbs came to a halt.

Blaze looked down in horror at what she had done. She frantically looked around at the crowd, but it was gone, replaced with lifeless copies of the grey wolf she had just killed, standing, burning, watching her scream in silence until it spoke. "Blaze?" She backed away, bumping into another as they closed in around her. "Blaze wake up."

Blaze jolted awake, gasping for breath, the sheets around her soaked with sweat, and no one around her but Sonic, sitting on the bed next to her. She hugged him as tightly as she could, burying her head in his chest. "Hey, hey;" he comforted her. "It was only a dream. Obviously a bad one, but still just a dream." He put his arms around her as she cried. "You're ok." He said, soothingly. The two of them stayed like that for some time before sonic finally got up to leave.

"Sonic?" Blaze asked as he was in the doorway. "Would you—- mmm" she started, embarrassed and still sniffling. "Would you stay here? With me?" She finally asked. Sonic smiled slightly.

"Of course I will." He replied, walking back to the bed and taking his place next to her. He wrapped his arm around her as she place her head on his chest. Sonic felt... surprisingly comfortable to have Blaze there. She let out a final sigh to end her crying and the two of them quickly drifted off to sleep.
