The truck came to a stop at Flo's Diner's parking lot; Blaze and Applejack looked in the interior of the small building through the truck, hoping to see if Twilight or her friends were still there. After a few minutes, they leaned back. "I don't see her in there." Applejack said. "Me too... Shit." Blaze murmured to himself, his lips curled. Applejack got her phone out of her pocket, and began to text Twilight. "She may be at the mall, I'll see if she is." she said, and began to type away at the keyboard on the touchscreen. After a few minutes, a 'ding' was heard, and Applejack checked her phone, but nothing was on the screen. Blaze looked at his phone; it was a text from his mother:
Mom: They just now brought up a flood watch. Whatever you're doing, hurry.
Blaze sighed and shook his head, and began to reply back:
Don't worry mom, I'll be fine. How bad will it be?
...
Mom: They said there's going to be heavy rain. We may not be in an area that can be flooded, but I can still remember that time you and your friends went out on the road during that one bad storm two years ago. Hurry back before it gets too dangerous.
"Fuck!" Blaze whispered to himself. Applejack looked at Blaze. "What is it?" she asked. "My mom said that we will have to hurry because there is going to be heavy rain." Blaze answered. Applejack started the vehicle back up again, and they left the parking lot. "Then to hell with staying here, we'll go on to the mall." she said. After another 15 minute drive, they entered the somewhat crowded parking lot, which was when Applejack finally got a text from Twilight.
Twi: No, I'm at Walmart. If you wanna hang out with us, we're in the book section.
Applejack began to reply.
I might.
Applejack started the vehicle again, and Blaze looked at her with a confused look. "What are we doing?" He asked, "Twilight just now said they were at Walmart." Applejack said. A few rain drops began to patter down on the trucks windshield as they drove off to Walmart. After a 20 minute drive, they finally arrived at Walmart. Applejack looked at Blaze. "Twi and her friends was in the book section when she responded to my text, check there first."Blaze nodded and got out of the truck, walk running to the store. After entering the store, Blaze began walking to the book section. He was highly nervous, and afraid that he was probably too late.
But he wasn't he slowly crept his way up to the book section, hearing talking. Blaze turned around, and saw Twilight, Sunset, Spike, and Barbara. "Its upsetting about Blaze, how he stormed out on you back at the band room." Barbara said. "Yeah, it is, he broke up with me too. I've cried after I got home, I haven't told my mom, dad, or Shining about it. The only people that know is you guys and my other friends." Twilight said. Blaze looked down, upset. He began to get out his phone and text Twilight. He planned on doing some sort of dramatic entrance. "How about we date Twi?" Spike spoke up. When Blaze heard that, the blood in his body began to boil, and he turned to look at the group secretly. "Hmm, I don't know Spike." Twilight said, smiling.
"You better not do it!" Blaze mouthed. "C'mon! Just kiss!" Sunset said, everybody laughed, Blaze's blood began to go to his cheeks, making his face red, his eyes began to water, was he about to cry? Spike and Twilight came close to each other.
They began to kiss.
Blaze looked at the newly formed couple with so much rage, everything else began to fade away and all he could see right now was red, and them two. Blaze gritted his teeth and curled his lips. In a fit of rage, Blaze grabbed a big hardcover book from a shelf and threw it over to the kissing couple. He thought he saw Sunset look at him. Instantly, he made his way into another aisle, so that they couldn't find him. "What the hell?!" Spike yelled. Furious, Blaze made his way outside, not even noticing that a few citizens were looking at him. It was raining now; he threw his hood up. and Blaze came into Applejack's truck, opening the door and closing it. "Alright Applejack, lets go!" He said in anger. "What the fuck?!" he heard a male voice said. He instantly looked up and saw someone with green skin wearing a cowboy hat, and clothing that made him look like he came from a farm of some sort; he couldn't make out his age. But Blaze squint at the unknown person, and took his hood off. "Bo?" he said. The unknown person's expression changed and he squinted at him too. "Blaze?"
Blaze was surprised to see that Bo Moon, his cousin, was sitting behind the wheel of Applejack's truck, or what he assumed was Applejack's truck. "W-What are you doing here?" Blaze asked. The rain now coming down harder than it was when he was outside. "I was about to ask you the same thing, I'm just here to get you and get some food for the hotel my parents are staying in, now that my mind is clear, I'm assuming you're with Applejack?" Bo asked. Blaze nodded. "Let me guess, she has the same vehicle as me, and it has the same color as mine?" Blaze nodded. "Damn it! I knew I should've got another color!" Bo said. "Hey brother, don't feel bad, I had a friend who was on vacation to Louisiana this year and accidentally tapped someone who he thought who was his sister on the shoulder, it was embarrassing for him 'cause he was mad. he was not having a good morning, God bless him." Bo shook his head, feeling sympathy for his friend. "He was having a bad mornin'," Bo continued."'Had to get some cigarettes for his sister, when she called him while he was walking out, he ended up dropping his phone, he didn't bust it though surprisingly, and had to go back in to get the lighter, then he came back out and fell butt first walking down the steps at the hotel, then that happened, he apologized and explained, but she kept saying it was fine."
Bo rolled his eyes, annoyed. "Would not shut the fuck up to let him explain everything lemme tell ya, I had to do it myself before she left because he went back in the room, that woman got pissed at me for doing so. 'I told him it was fine!'" he mocked the woman's voice. "People these days, they won't let you finish." Blaze said, shaking his head. Bo nodded. "Amen to that. And also, whats up? When you came in the truck, you sounded pretty pissed off." Bo asked. Blaze hesitated for a few seconds, but he finally spoke. "I had been dating this girl at the high school named Twilight, I got pissed off at her earlier today and told her I'm breaking up with her."
"And?"
"I was going here to apologize and she's dating someone else now."
"Damn, that's rough. Did y'all get into it?" Blaze shooked his head. "No, but I threw a book at them while they were kissing, left before anyone else saw me." Bo whistled, and shook his head. "Damn! Sounds like you've had a rough Friday my friend, not a good way to start off the weekend." Blaze then got a text from, this time, his dad.
Dad: Applejack is going back home. Bo is going to pick you up from Walmart. He has her parking spot.
"And now he tells me." Blaze murmured to himself. "Look." Blaze showed the text to Bo. "Yeah. Sorry I reacted like that to you, I forgot that you were wearing a different hoodie." pointing out Blaze's gray hoodie. "Its fine man." Blaze said. "Alright, well I'm gonna get some food, and we'll be on our way, okay?" Blaze nodded. Bo then got out of the car, and made his way inside. Blaze looked on as he saw him enter the store, but he saw some people coming out, one stood out in particular.
Twilight.
Wow! Now that was a long chapter! Think that's the longest I ever wrote for this story. But anyways my friends, this has been the second part of The Perfect Forecast. Part 3 shall be released in January of next year.
