Twilight and Sunset watched as the truck drove away from the parking lot and onto the road as they jogged back to Sunset's Chevrolet Camaro, not wanting to get more soaked than they already were. It took several minutes for Twilight to realize that Spike and Barbara were missing. "What happened to Spike and Barbara?" Twilight asked, a bit scared and confused. "Well, when you told Blaze you kissed Spike as a joke, he got angry and stormed off back to his vehicle, Barbara followed him back." Sunset answered. This caused Twilight's heart to break as a result, she began to sob a bit, which caused Sunset to hug her.
"It's okay. I'm sure that Blaze will forgive you soon." Sunset said as they separated. Twilight shook her head as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "I really was doing that as a joke, I mean, it was a horrible joke to do, but I thought me and Blaze-" she began to cry, covering face with her hand. Sunset patted her on the back once more. "I shouldn't have told you guys to kiss, I cheered you and Spike on just to get on with your joke, but I wasn't expecting that to happen. I just expected you or Spike to make some sort of joke about it." Twilight nodded, "I know, you didn't think that would happened, but I just feel so dumb to follow along with his stupid joke!" Twilight said those words with a bit of a yell. Sunset nodded, "I know Twi, I know. This might not work, but try to text Blaze if you can, explain everything to him, and see if it works." Sunset said.
Twilight nodded, "Okay, I'll try." she said. As soon as she said that, Sunset started the Camaro and they drove off. Twilight got out her, and began to text Blaze, praying in her head that he would answer.
-Plasma Residence-
The truck pulled into the driveway as the rain began to calm down. Blaze thanked Bo for dropping him off, and he got out of the truck. As Bo began to pull out of the driveway, Blaze knocked on the door. The door opened and he was met with the sight of his mom. "Welcome back! Me and your dad were just about to go to bed." she said. "Well I hope you guys have a good night, I'm going to my room." Blaze said. "Goodnight honey." his mom said as Blaze walked upstairs. Blaze opened his bedroom door, and locked it behind him. Anger swiftly returned, and Blaze took his hoodie off, stuffing it into a ball and throwing it on the bed. He sat down at his desk, laying his head.
"I know I should've stayed here." Blaze started to say to himself quietly. "I should've stayed here, played a video game, and went to sleep, not trying to get back together with some slut." he was angry, angry at the Dazzlings, the Rainbooms, Twilight, everyone. Just after the fiasco with that former spoiled brat, and going to the hospital because of a stab wound to the back, Blaze was once again caught into drama. He wanted this to be a drama-free school year, but life being the unfair ass it was, it had different plans. It was like his old school all over again before he moved, nothing but bullshit. Blaze's phone started to ring, and it showed up the words: Twilight, with a kissy face and heart eyes.
Blaze knew what to do, he knew exactly what to do. He looked at the red 'decline' button, and pressed it. He slammed his phone down on his desk, thinking to himself that life was unfair. He then got on his computer, and decided to surf the internet to get Twilight off his mind. It would be a hard task to do, as it was with the girlfriends he had in the pass, but he would try.
-Sunset's House-
"We're sorry, the number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable, please hang up and try your call again." the automated voice said. Twilight hung up and sat her phone down. "He didn't answer." Twilight said. "He's either asleep or not wanting to talk." Sunset said as she changed into her pajamas. "Texting him and calling him was a bad idea." Twilight muttered. "No it wasn't, just give him a day or two and he'll respond, and then it'll be back to what it was before: you and him kissing and hugging and all that." unknown to Sunset, this just made Twilight feel worse. She missed Blaze so badly, and all the times they had together since he moved to Canterlot, event though it had been only a month. After several minutes of getting ready, Twilight and Sunset got back into the Camaro, heading towards Rarity's mansion.
They arrived at the mansion not long after, passing the gates of the house, with Sunset parking besides a blue motorbike, which was Dash's. They grabbed their bags and went to the front door. Sunset rang the doorbell, and they greeted with the door opening and purple-haired figure. "Hello darlings! Welcome back to Casa de Rareza!" Rarity said, the last words being in Spanish. Sunset and Twilight entered the house and sat their stuff down in the living room. Not a lot of people were there. With the absence of Adagio, Aria, Sonata, Applejack, and Pinkie, who both were preparing for the Apple family reunion, the sleepover was nothing compared to their others, which consists of a large amount of people, pizza, ice creams, video games, and gossip. Blaze probably thought we played spin the bottle and did pillow fights while watching romantic movies. She gave the living room a very thorough look, and saw who currently occupied it. Rainbow Dash just sat on the couch, eating popcorn while watching a Marvel movie, and Fluttershy was just on her phone. No, this was not like the regular sleepovers they had, this was nothing compared to it. She sat her stuff down, and looked at Rarity.
"Hey, can I use your bathroom?" she asked. Rarity smiled. "Why of course! You don't even have to ask!" she said. That made Twilight smile a bit, she ascended up the stairs, and found the bathroom instantly. She went in there, locked the door, and sat down on the toilet. I have to try again. She got her phone out and unlocked it. She went into her contacts, and looked for Blazes name. She found it, and called again.
A few rings later...
"We're sorry, the number you are trying to reach is-" she hung up, and locked her phone back up. She began to sob.
