Episode 54: Deception

The excitement of the past few weeks had died down but the weather certainty hadn't the snow still covered the ground and was freezing outside, Aelita moved away from the window, she was clearly frustrated but hadn't told anyone why,
"Aelita" said Yumi as she slowly awoke, Aelita was still adjusting to her new roommate "sorry I didn't mean to wake you" she said as she moved back to her bed, being it was a Sunday they didn't need to get up and Aelita was still in her nightwear, "its fine, with this little thing, I find it hard to sleep anyway" said Yumi as she turned to face to Aelita before sitting up and rolling herself in her bed cover, "are you sure its okay for me to room here" asked Yumi, Aelita stood up and sat next to her, "I offered to you know" she said, Yumi smiled even though she still felt guilty, "I'm slightly annoyed though" said Yumi, Aelita was confussed, Yumi moved the cover, "whats wrong" she asked as she looked at Yumi's stomach, "I'm finally starting to show" said Yumi before she started to chuckle, Aelita smiled at the joke, "Has Ulrich said anything to you about it, this I mean" asked Yumi, Aelita shook her head, "not really he's only mentioned he's struggling to tell his parents" she said, Yumi rolled her eyes knowing the recent incident meant things were going to be difficult.

"Dear Mum and Dad, I'm writing to tell that Yumi is…" said Ulrich, but he screwed up the piece of paper and threw it in the bin that was already full, "they're not gonna know who Yumi is you idiot" said Ulrich to himself, he grabbed another piece of paper, "dear Mum and Dad, how are you, all is well at school, I'm doing my best to improve my grades and some are improving, but this isn't the reason I'm writing to you to, I'm writing to tell you that my girlfriend of just over a year is pregnant with my child" said Ulrich as he wrote this down, he sat back in his chair unsure about if this was a good idea, he knew his parents wouldn't approve of his actions, he smacked his head into the desk, "this is hopeless" he said, before looking at a picture of him and Yumi.

Dallas walked into the infirmary with Jeremie, Dallas was clearly unhappy about being there,
"you do know you don't have to be here" said Dallas as he sat down, Jeremie chuckled and said "well if I wasn't you wouldn't show up for the check-ups", then the nurse walked in, she wasn't actually that much older than any of the students, she'd actually graduated the year before Dallas and Odd arrived and was working at the school as a way of paying off her education, "you showed up for once" she said as she noticed Jeremie, "you know how hard it is to get him here Dorothy" said Jeremie, she smiled as Dallas walked towards the bed, "okay shirt off" she said, Dallas laughed as he removed his Jacket and pulled his jumper over his head, Jeremie turned his head away as he noticed his numerous scars, "Couldn't wait to get my shirt off could you" said Dallas slightly annoyed at the whole affair, Dorothy placed her hand on his back, "does it hurt" she asked, Dallas looked back at her and rolled his eyes, "I was stabbed clean through, but not really, is there a point to this" he replied, Dorothy grabbed a stethoscope and placed it on his back, he winced at the sudden cold feeling, "The doctors' orders were final, with the constant beatings you take in MMA training and your slightly re arranged internal organs, you've essentially got a hollow chest" she said as she listen to his heartbeat, "seems to be fine" she said, Dallas rolled his eyes, "if there was anything wrong with it, you'd have found it in under two years" he said, Dorothy understood his frustration, "Dallas calm down she's only helping" said Jeremie, Dallas knew he was being out of line, "I'm sorry, but I'm perfectly fine" he said as he got off the bed, Dorothy laughed as she grabbed a clip board, "Numerous scared tissue areas, dislocated heart, permanently dilated eye, and defective left knee" she said, Dallas looked down "point taken" he said as he grabbed his jumper and pulled it over his head.

Odd sat in the canteen he had a warm cup of coco in his hand, whilst it might have been freezing outside, it was nice and toasty inside, Odd took a small sip of his steamed drink, suddenly he heard a familiar voice,
"Is it true what they say" asked William as he sat down across from Odd, "about what" counter Odd wondering if William might have stumbled onto something, "the whole business with Dallas, and Yumi's family" answered William, Odd sighed internally, "what about it" said Odd as he took another sip, "is it true that Dallas got stabbed because Yumi's pregnant" asked William, Odd laughed and said "I thought it was common knowledge", William shook his head then Odd noticed Williams tone changed, "you're upset that she's not available" asked Odd, William looked around quickly and nodded slightly "yeah a bit" he said, Odd smiled and patted his friend on the shoulder, "its fine, besides if you're upset just train in the gym that's what a lot of people do" said Odd, William sat up straight "can't Dallas has been barred from the Gym whilst he's healing so he can't help with my boxing" he replied, suddenly Odd overheard Sissi talking loudly, "I can't Believe what happened" she said, "not so loud Sissi" said Herb, but Sissi didn't listen, "Not only is my Ulrich off the table, but that whole incident has brought them closer together" said Sissi, Adam sighed "can't you let it go" he asked but Sissi threw an empty paper cup at him, "No I can't let it go, I've known Ulrich for years therefore he's my right" she said, Evelyn rolled her eyes and asked "I thought you gave up on him" Sissi was angry at the comment, "I never give up" she said stubbornly, Nicholas scratched his head and said for everyone to hear "what about all those exams Sissi", causing everyone who heard to laugh at her.

Ulrich looked at his letter so far; he held it above his head as he lay on his bed, he couldn't help but be annoyed with his inability to write the letter, suddenly there was a knocking on the door, he reached the handle and opened the door,
"come in" he said as he concentrated on the letter, "still working on telling your parents" asked Yumi, Ulrich quickly sat up and put it down "please sit down" he said as he patted next him, Yumi smiled as she did, but catching Ulrich off guard she pushed him down with and laid on him, "well you turned that around" said Ulrich causing the both of them to laugh, but Yumi ended it with a kiss, she grabbed Ulrich's hand and placed it on her stomach, "You know I started showing" said Yumi, Ulrich began to stroke her stomach, "I can't tell" he said as they resumed kissing, "Ulrich" she said breaking the kiss, "has me be being pregnant affected the way you feel towards me" asked Yumi, Ulrich replied "yes", Yumi was shocked and asked "what do you mean", Ulrich smiled and said "it makes me love you and our child more", Yumi kissed him again, but she knew the letter was bothering him, "can I help you with the letter" she asked, Ulrich didn't want to concern her with any more than she had to be, but as he looked into her eyes he found himself unable to resist her, "okay, but only because I love you" he said.

Aelita stepped out of the main building having a craving for something that contained sugar, and despite the freezing cold weather she still decided on a can of cola, she grabbed a nice warm coat that Yumi had given her, she moved towards the vending machines putting in a few coins, before rubbing her hands keeping warm, she quickly grabbed the can, but she heard a voice that really annoyed her,
"Heeeey lita" he said, Aelita knew who this was and she hated the guy, he was just a bit taller than her, but his hygiene was terrible his face was covered in spots, and his attitude wasn't much better a lot of people would describe it as self-believing as gods greatest gift, no one of course agreed with this, "What do you want James" she said as she tried walking away before getting an answer "so when you gonna stop hanging with those losers and go on a date with me" said James acting flirty but failing badly, he'd asked this question numerous times to Aelita over the past week, even when she'd been coming back from hospital visits, she sighed and said "I already told you not gonna happen", she quickly walked back towards the dorm building, but he cut her off and stopped her entering, "come on one date and then if you hate it I'll back off" he said curling her hair with his finger, she backed away agitated, she quickly ducked under his arm and said "okay once nothing fancy, just hanging out" she said before running away as fast as she could, James just stood there and grinned menacingly.

There was a loud banging on Dallas's and Jeremie's door, Jeremie quickly opened it and Aelita ran in crying, Dallas sat up slowly causing himself some pain,
"Whats wrong" asked Jeremie as Aelita cried into his chest causing him to be slightly uncomfortable, "someone keeps pestering me and wouldn't stop asking me out" she said, Dallas stood up "who" he asked as he grabbed his crossbow angrily, but Aelita signalled for him to put it down, "that James kid" she said, Dallas knew who she meant, "Norris, that…" started Dallas but he was cut off by Jeremie as he asked "what do you mean wouldn't surely that means he'll stop" asked Jeremie, but Aelita shook her head, "no I stupidly agreed to get him off my back" she answered, Jeremie was visibly hurt by this but Aelita didn't see this, "it's okay just don't go" said Jeremie with Aelita not picking up on his tone change, "I can't if I do, he'll just persist in doing so again" said Aelita, they all knew she was in a tight situation.

Odd had agreed to help William get over Yumi and the two were in the gym,
"Are you sure this is gonna work, I mean you're not an athlete Odd" Said William as he put on some boxing gloves, "don't sweet it, I've been watching Dallas train for the past few years, I know how to help you" said Odd, although he wasn't as good as the others he still knew some of what was needed, "how much have you done with Dallas" asked Odd as he grabbed a water bottle, "well he's mainly taught me how to throw a few punches and how to control my breathing using an elevation mask, but it's his so I can't use it" said William, Odd instantly knew what he could do, "let's see a punch" said Odd, William stepped back from the bag and threw a right handed punch, into the bag, "okay I know what you can do" he said as he grabbed Williams arm, "when you punch move your leg at the same time, like they're attached by a string" said Odd as he mimed it out, William watched as Odd's right arm stretched out and at the same time his leg stepped forward, William turned towards the bag and repeated the action, "and this helps" asked William having doubts, Odd smiled knowing that's what he thought when he first saw it.

"Dear Mum and Dad, how have you been, I'm writing this letter to inform you of a few things, first my grades have improved slightly but they've still improved, and there's something else, you may remember in a previous letter I mentioned I started dating my Girlfriend Yumi, well that's the main focus of this letter, we're still together but our relationship is strengthened, although we're both still young, we recently by accident but this changes nothing, conceived a child…" said Ulrich as he read it out to Yumi, she smiled and placed her hand on his shoulder, "you're doing the right thing" she said as she kissed him on the cheek, "Yumi, can I tell you something" he asked, she smiled and sat next to him, "of course you can I don't want there to be any secrets between us" she said Ulrich took a deep breath, "I'm nervous about telling them, my parents are laid back except when it comes to my grades, but what if they disapprove, I mean I'm 15 and I'm a dad, I know that sounds selfish but…" he said but he was cut off by another kiss from Yumi, "it doesn't matter, we and that is we are having this kid, besides I think it'll be nice having and Ulrich Junior running around" she said, Ulrich was nervous about the last comment, but he continued to read out the letter, "we've already agreed on keeping the child and are going to raise him or her, I hope you're understanding in our decision, as her parents weren't, see the newspaper clipping, I hope to hear from you soon, regards Ulrich and the mother of your grandchild Yumi" said Ulrich as he finished the letter, Yumi hugged him, "I just hope they don't react badly" he said as he enclosed the envelope.

The sky turned from blue to orange as the day began to turn to night, Aelita was in her room brushing her hair, and Yumi was reading a Manga novel, Aelita looked towards her,
"Yumi" she asked, the aforementioned look up from her book, "yeah Aelita" she said Smiling, "have you ever been on a date" she asked knowing the obvious answer, "yeah why" asked Yumi, Aelita put down her hair brush, "well I've sort of been pressured into one" said Aelita becoming scared slightly, "what" said Yumi as she moved to Aelita and sat down next to her, "Well for the past week or so, this kid keeps pestering me and I stupidly agreed to one date to get rid of him" said Aelita, Yumi knee she was pressured into doing it and gave a sympathetic hug, "I take it you want advice on what to do on a date" she asked, Aelita silently nodded "are you sure I'm the best to give advice" asked Yumi, Aelita looked at her confussed, "I'm 7 weeks pregnant" she said, causing the both of them to laugh, "well you're the only female friend I truly have" said Aelita, Yumi smiled and said "well it's gonna be a hell of a crash course".

Dallas stepped into the gym; he hadn't been there in almost two weeks and felt as if his muscles had liquidated he walked towards one of the punching bags that he favoured it showed as it had been taped up numerous times due to splits, he removed his tags and shirt as he threw them onto the nearby bench, everyone who was there watched as he moved despite the glaring scar that adored his chest and the fresh one that adored his back, for many people this confirmed the rumours,
"He's not gonna is he" asked one person who knew he was risking his health, Odd and William noticed him, "isn't he meant to be out of here" asked William, Odd looked away "yeah he is, I don't know why he's here" he said knowing that the pain Dallas was feeling was worse than anyone knew, Dallas turned away from the bag but he raised his left leg and curled it inwards before extending it and kicking outwards and striking the bag, and then in one swift action turned and kicked the bag with his other leg and struck the bag, before he flipped around in the air and struck the bag again with his left leg before landing on the ground, he wince slightly but not enough for others to see, he stood up, and turned around a threw several punches at the bag, alternating between his southpaw stance and a right handed one, he quickly raised his leg and kicked the bag, suddenly he collapsed holding his chest, "fuck" he screamed under his breath, the pain had gotten to him, "Shit" said Odd as he rushed over to help him, William quickly followed suit, Odd grabbed Dallas, "you idiot you weren't meant to be training" said Odd as he helped him to his feet, but Dallas was too heavy, "I… had to" said Dallas losing his breath William quickly helped Odd, "let go of me" asked Dallas as he broke away but collapsed against the bag, "you grab his stuff, I'll carry him to his room" said William, Odd grabbed Dallas's shirt and tags, "Christ this guy's heavy" said William, Odd simply replied "the dudes pure muscle what do you expect".

Ulrich walked into Jeremie's room having just been out and posted the letter, Jeremie was once again hammering away at his keyboard,
"do you ever truly stop doing that" asked Ulrich, Jeremie didn't turn around as he said "With one of us out of action for nearly two weeks, and with Yumi's pregnancy slowing us down, I've lost a lot of time on the anti-virus", Jeremie knew that he was being cold, but he was frustrated, Aelita was going on a date, Dallas wasn't listening to his bed rest orders and he had to take extra precautions with Yumi, "Jeremie seriously you need a break" said Ulrich, but Jeremie showed him away, suddenly the door opened, "Thank god" said William as Odd helped him place Dallas on his bed, "What happened" asked Ulrich as he placed his head to Dallas's heart, "He started training then he collapsed his briefing sped up and slowed down rapidly" said William, Ulrich heard a heartbeat, "well he's not dead, although his pulse is slow" he said as he stood up, "thanks" he said begrudgingly to William, Jeremie turned around and looked at him, "he's gotta be careful if he reopens that wound" said Jeremie, but only three of them knew what he meant, "I'd better go make sure everyone's reassured" said William as he walked away, Odd shut the door, "we can't keep him locked up" he said, suddenly Dallas shot forward taking a massive breath, "Jesus fucking Christ that fucking hurts" he said as he felt his chest, "you should have listened to Dorothy" said Jeremie, Dallas knew Jeremie was right, "yeah I should have" he said as he collapsed backwards onto his bed.

"so that's a date then" said Aelita, she was partly intrigued and disgusted knowing what James's intentions could be, "Yeah if he try's anything, deny him and if he forces himself on you take this" said Yumi as she rolled up Aelita's sleeve and placed her blade and tightened it around her wrist, "have you used this before" she asked, Aelita nodded but said "on Lyoko, on earth I've never even seen one used", Yumi nodded her head, "Well Dallas gave me basic instructions its controlled by a movement of the muscle" she said as Aelita flicked her wrist and the blade extended, "just don't scratch your chin with that wrist" said Yumi, Aelita's eyes shot open not wanting to know, "Yumi is a date, a real date meant to be romantic" she asked, Yumi smiled as the two settled down, "Yeah it's a wonderful experience" she replied, Aelita was intrigued "what was it like with you and Ulrich, your first date I mean" she asked, Yumi smiled remembering the experience, "things were rough between me and Ulrich to begin with, we were just friends, I knocked him on his arse when we first met, but as time went on I started to feel something towards him, something I'd never felt towards anyone, it was a wonderful feeling, which is why I get annoyed when Sissi tries it with him" said Yumi, Aelita smiled knowing what dating and love was meant to be, "then me and Ulrich finally gave it a shot, I thought he was avoiding me because he hated me, but he avoided me because he loved me, I know that makes no sense, but is how love works" finished Yumi, then she looked at Aelita, who in turn looked up at her, "do you feel that way towards someone" she asked already knowing the answer, Aelita simply blushed and said "No… no why do you ask", it was clear she was being defensive about it, Yumi just smiled and hugged the younger girl as the two sat on her bed.

Adam stood outside the Cafeteria smoking, he didn't feel the cold and as such didn't dress for it, he looked around when suddenly he heard a beeping noise in Morse code, it translated as Attack ready begin assimilation, Adam smiled, he was ready to move when James walked towards him,
"oi bender, give us a fag" he ordered, Adam smiled again as he reached for his carton he held one out for James, but he snatched the whole box from Adam's hand, "thank you would be nice" said Adam sarcastically, James pretended not to acknowledge as he lit one up, "you know that's bad for your health" said Adam, James looked at him and moved the cigarette from his mouth saying "who gives a fuck you piece of…" but before he could finish Adam grabbed him by the mouth and pinned him to the floor, muffled screams emanated from him as the black slime emerged from Adam and moved down onto James, he suddenly began to twitch, his eyes rolled backwards as XANA took control, "yeah fuck you" said Adam as he grabbed his carton and stood up again walking away as he lit another up.

The next day rolled around, it had gotten slightly warmer but it was still freezing cold and there was still snow on the ground, the only difference was that the roads were clear, Aelita was nervous as she prepared to go out, she kept pacing back and forth, Yumi stood up and walked out of the room saying
"just going out for some air", Aelita nodded in response, Yumi instead walked down the hall to the stairs, where Dallas was standing, he had his hand on his shoulder and moving it around, "how can I help" he asked, Yumi smiled and looked around, "I need a favour" she said, Dallas nodded and said "name it", "it's about Aelita, she's nervous about her so called date" said Yumi, Dallas rolled his eyes, "doesn't surprise me, I've seen his type before, once tore his shoulder out of socket" he said, Yumi was shocked but carried on "I know you're dropping her off and picking her up, but could you stay nearby and keep an eye out" she asked, Dallas chuckled and said "you think I was gonna leave with that dick around", Yumi smiled and hugged him carefully, "thank you" she said, Dallas patted her on the back.

Jeremie was clearly annoyed about Aelita, and everyone knew it,
"Come on Jeremie, she doesn't even like him, she's doing it to get rid of him" said Odd, but Jeremie was still annoyed by the whole ordeal, "I don't care she should have just gotten one of us to scare him" said Jeremie as he turned away from his computer, "you know that's out of the question" said Odd, then Ulrich decided to ask "Jeremie, are you jealous that Aelita's on a date", Jeremie turned around red in the face, "No why" he replied but it was clear he was lying, "no reason" said Ulrich trying not to laugh, "besides how would you feel if Yumi went on a date with someone else" asked Jeremie, but then Odd reminded him "Jeremie this Aelita business this has gone to your head" he said, Jeremie didn't want to admit defeat, there was a knocking on the door, Ulrich opened it and Yumi walked in "Well Aelita's off with Dallas escorting" she said as she sat down, Jeremie didn't want to hear it and tried his best not to pay attention, "Do you think she'll be safe" asked Ulrich, "of course I gave her my blade to arm herself, literally" replied Yumi, Jeremie smiled slightly knowing she was safe.

Before James had been taken over by XANA he'd decided on Taking Aelita to a nightclub for teens, so it wasn't somewhere overly dangerous, Dallas pulled up into the car park, he turned off the engine and kicked out the stand, Aelita stepped off the bike,
"Thanks" she said as she hugged him, "keep your phone on, if he tries anything that makes you uncomfortable phone me" said Dallas, Aelita smiled before walking off, Dallas turned on the bikes engine and as Aelita walked across to the club he turned the engine off again, he stepped off grabbing his crossbow and slinging it across his shoulder, he opened up the side saddle and looked around before loading his blades projectile launcher, outside the Club the possessed James watched him, he grinned knowing he was a liability, he snuffed his cigarette on the snow as Aelita walked towards him, "Let's get this over with" said Aelita, James didn't say anything as they walked in, Aelita seemed better as he didn't say anything, Dallas however was moving around the back, Aelita and James sat down at a table, "I'll get some drinks" said James, but Aelita remember what Yumi had said "I'll take a bottle of water" said Aelita, James didn't appear to pay attention, Aelita pulled out her phone and looked through any messages she had, James came back with a can of Cola in his hand and a bottle of water for Aelita, she looked at the bottle and opened it, with a small struggle she knew it hadn't been tampered with, she smiled at this, but she couldn't help but notice that James was staring at her, she thought nothing of it though.

Ulrich and Yumi were laying in Ulrich's room, Yumi had fallen asleep on Ulrich, but even though he didn't want to wake her he still tempted fate and stroked her stomach, he was still nervous about it, he stopped doing it, but Yumi suppressed him by saying
"please don't stop", Ulrich was caught off guard "I thought you were asleep" he said, Yumi smiled and said "it's not easy these days", suddenly Ulrich's phone rang, "hello" he said, then he moved "Jeremie" he said as he heard his voice, "Ulrich, XANA's activated a tower" said Jeremie, Ulrich stood up and said "right me and Yumi are on our way" he quickly hung up and helped Yumi to her feet, "XANA" she asked Ulrich nodded, whilst in Jeremie's room he and Odd walked out, "better phone Dallas" asked Jeremie as he locked the door behind him, Odd quickly dialled Dallas's number, meanwhile on the roof of the club Dallas heard his phone ring, "Odd don't remember the last time you phoned" me said Dallas as he moved around trying to find an entrance, "XANA's activated a tower, get Aelita to the factory" said Odd, Dallas quickly hung up, he moved back towards the ladder when he heard his phone ring again, he answered but before he could speak he heard Aelita say "Dallas it's James he's been possessed, his eyes flickered briefly", Dallas looked down the skylight and looked at James, he activated eagle vision James was red, Dallas nodded and moved down the ladder, "Aelita keep him occupied" said Dallas as he moved towards his bike, "what're you gonna do" she asked but she got no reply, Dallas hung up and opened one of the saddles, and pulled out the sawn-off, he quickly loaded it but found only one bullet, "bastard" he said under his breath he shut the barrels and hid it under his jacket.

Inside the club Aelita was becoming more panicked by the minute as she exited the toilets, she jumped and yelped as James was standing there, she wanted to scream and run but she couldn't
"Want to dance" said James, Aelita nodded as the song changed, the two moved towards the dance floor, the song turned to Daft Punk Derezzed, Aelita was clearly nervous and James decided to give up the gig, "I know you know that XANA is controlling me" he said, Aelita wanted to scream as James grabbed her arms, "you see XANA has enhanced me" he said menacingly, Aelita tried moving away, but she couldn't break his grip, "before I deliver you to XANA, I'm gonna have some fun" he said, Aelita tried wriggling free, no one seemed to notice due to the music, "I'm gonna enjoy you swallowing me" he said, Aelita was nervous as Yumi had warned her, suddenly James was turned and the two heard "Swallow this" before James was suddenly blown backwards following a loud bang, Dallas stood there holding his Sawn-Off people who'd heard the gunshot began screaming and running away, "are you okay" asked Dallas as the two moved out of the club, "yes" said Aelita as she began to cry into him, "it's okay, he didn't try anything" asked Dallas as the two rushed to the Parking lot, Dallas holstered his weapons and turned on the engine, and shot off, "hopefully they won't realise it was me in the confusion" said Dallas, whilst inside the Club James moved from one of the collapsed Tables, his head had been blown open but suddenly gained texture again, it looked unnatural like a hologram reforming, he stepped out of the Club, he then suddenly began running at an unnatural speed and pace.

"Scanner Ulrich, Scanner Yumi, Scanner Odd" said Jeremie as he quickly selected there ID cards, "Transfer Ulrich, Transfer Yumi, Transfer Odd" he added as they span and rise, "virtualization" said Jeremie as the three felt the blast of air, there blue squared outlines appeared and dropped to the ground, "okay we need to wait for the others" said Ulrich as they looked around, Irony set in as they looked around the ice sector, "great can we not get out of the cold" said Odd as he perched himself on a rock, whilst outside the factory, Dallas turned his bike onto the bridge, suddenly James appeared on the bridge,
"Hold the fuck on" said Dallas as he sped up and quickly turned around James and turned the bike, suddenly Aelita and Dallas were thrown from the bike, Aelita screamed as Dallas grabbed her and suddenly activated eagle sense and flipped into the elevator, she stopped as they landed "get to Lyoko, I'll deal with him" said Dallas, Aelita grabbed him, "you're not fit to" she said with concern, "I know" said Dallas as he pressed the button and the elevator descended, Aelita banged on the door, Jeremie looked on the elevator monitor "Aelita are you okay" he said, Aelita looked towards the camera, "yeah I'm fine, where are the others" she replied, "There're in the ice sector waiting your arrival" said Jeremie, then the elevator opened and Aelita walked into an open scanner, "Scanner Aelita" said Jeremie as he selected her ID card, "Transfer Aelita" he added as she began to spin and rise, "Virtualization" said Jeremie as Aelita felt the blast of air sending her to Lyoko, her blue squared outline appeared and gained detail, she dropped to the ground as the others walked towards her "where's Dallas" asked Odd, Aelita stood up and replied, "he got held up" she said as they heard Jeremie say "tower is due north", they quickly started running in that direction, "How was your date" asked Odd sarcastically, Aelita smiled and said "Ended better than I expected".

James jumped down from the bridge landing on the factory floor, he started laughing as he walked slowly towards Dallas,
"Funny I thought I improved your face" said Dallas, James stopped laughing, "you know XANA has shown me more than I could ever have imagined" said James, Dallas smiled and laughed, "so XANA is sharing his power not taken full control" said Dallas, James jumped towards him knocking him backwards into a girder, blood erupted from Dallas's mouth from the blow, he felt James grab him by the throat, "you know I could get used to this" said James as he grabbed Dallas left arm and twisted it back, Dallas didn't scream not giving any satisfaction, "I'm gonna enjoy killing you" said James, Dallas quickly loosened his right arm and quickly extend his palm and went to stab James in the neck but there was nothing, Dallas looked at his blade, James laughed as Dallas realised it'd been broken, "Takeho" he said angrily, suddenly James noticed the blue lightning that formed Eagle sense, "what the fuck" he asked, suddenly he was blown back as Dallas got back on his feet, "don't fuck with someone who can fight back" he said, but then he felt the pain in his chest again, "fuck not now" he said as he hunched over but James came over and kicked him in the face knocking him backwards, but due to the force Dallas was knocked into the air but he quickly flipped backwards landing on his feet, "once I'm done with you, I'm gonna kill them" said James as he grabbed a steel pipe, "even like this I can stop you" said Dallas, James charged him with the pipe, Dallas stepped aside and raised his leg around the pipe and pulled it from his hands before flipping and kicking James in the face, "god you make Adam seem worthwhile" said Dallas as he grabbed the pipe and stood in a fighting stance.

"Towers coming up guys" said Jeremie, Ulrich looked forward as he slowed down on the over-Bike, the others followed suit "whats up" asked Yumi as she pulled up alongside him, "I dunno just seems like a trap" said Ulrich, and unfortunately he was right, suddenly Adam moved into view he quickly split the pack as he shot through them on his bike, "Jesus" said Odd as he was nearly taken out, "Yumi, You and Odd get Aelita to the tower, I'll go after him" said Ulrich as he turned the Over-Bike and gave pursuit, "Good luck" shouted Aelita after him, "Careful Ulrich, your bike may be fast, but it's nowhere near as fast as his" said Jeremie, whilst back in the main pack Odd, Yumi and Aelita were getting close to the tower, "SURPRISE" yelled an unpleasant voice, suddenly Evelyn appeared and took out the Over-Board, Odd was thrown as she ground the vehicle, Odd landed on the ground and turned around, he raised his arm shouting "LASER ARROW", he quickly fired towards Evelyn but she drew her rapier and started to deflect them "ah Crap" he said as she drew her musket, "watch out" yelled Jeremie, Odd jumped behind a rock as she fired, "Jeremie I'm going to help Odd" said Yumi as she began to turn the Over-Board around, "no the sooner we deactivate the tower the better" said Jeremie, whilst on the near other side of the sector Ulrich was getting closer to Adam, "come on" said Ulrich as he sped up pushing the engine to the limits, suddenly Adam slammed on his breaks and held out his sword, Ulrich quickly skidded to avoid the blade, Adam laughed as he turned around and went after the others, "Ulrich are you okay" asked Jeremie, but there was no response "ULRICH" yelled Jeremie.

Dallas swiped the pipe towards James but he grabbed it with lightning fast reflexes and punched Dallas clean in the chest, he screamed as he fell to the floor with pain, James just laughed as he walked towards the elevator,
"Pathetic" he said, Dallas suddenly became angrier than he was, he started to get up but he stumbled over, he quickly got to his feet and jumped at James grabbing him and flipping him over but before he hit the ground Dallas turned and curled in his left leg and kicked outwards striking James in the ribs and knocking him away, James stood up and charged towards Dallas, but again Dallas raised his left leg in a high kick striking James in the throat knocking him off his feet and onto the ground, James tried getting back up but Dallas wasn't allowing it as he spin kicked James in the face knocking him to the side, but he collapsed himself due to the strain on his chest, James wasn't moving though and as Dallas spat up blood he simply said "pathetic".

"ULRICH" shouted Jeremie, suddenly Ulrich came to after having hit an ice block head on he'd been rendered unconscious, "yeah Jeremie" he said as he rubbed his head, "Adam's heading towards Yumi and Aelita, I'm sending you the Over-Rider" replied Jeremie, Ulrich looked in his hand as the Baton spawned he quickly did what Dallas had down numerous times and dived forward spreading it and allowing the Over-Rider to spawn below him, he suddenly shot off to catch up to Adam, "Jeremie do I have any weapons" asked Ulrich as he got used to the speed he was going at, "Just defensive ones, only flairs and the energy lance at the back, but those are only useful when in front" replied Jeremie, Ulrich shook his head as he got closer to Adam, "come on" said Ulrich as the Over-Rider was getting closer to over taking Adam, "fuck" shouted Adam as the two vehicles suddenly became neck and neck, the engines roared against each other, suddenly Adam drew his musket and pulled the trigger just missing Ulrich due to the high speeds, Ulrich drew his Katanna and started swinging it wildly towards Adam but couldn't get close enough, Odd wasn't getting it any easier as he hid behind the rock as Evelyn continued to fire, "Jeremie I need more arrows" he said as he felt his hands were empty, "on it" said Jeremie, Odd then turned and fired a laser arrow, he missed Evelyn but took out her ranged weapon, "nice shot let's see if you can get lucky again" she said mocking him.

Further up towards the Tower Yumi and Aelita were getting closer and so far hadn't encountered any resistance,
"Jeremie do you seen any monsters" asked Aelita, Jeremie typed and looked on the map and radar, "no nothing it's weird" said Jeremie, suddenly there was a blip, "I spoke to soon" said Jeremie, then he noticed it "watch out" said Jeremie, Yumi then noticed the Scyphozoa moved from behind cover, she swerved out of the way, but the creature reached its tentacles out and grabbed Aelita causing her to scream, "AELITA" shouted Yumi as she circled around to help her, suddenly she noticed a small cloud move towards them, "Jeremie what is that" asked Yumi as the creature began to drain Aelita's memory, "you might want to move" said Jeremie, Yumi then jumped from the Over-Wing as Ulrich and Adam moved towards her at break neck speeds, Ulrich accidently went up a rock, he jumped from the Over-Rider as it crashed into the Scyphozoa exploding the creature dropped Aelita as it screamed and Moved away, "NO" shouted Adam as he moved towards Aelita to grab her, but Ulrich stood and raised his Katanna outwards and Adam only saw it at the last second, as he raced past he was instantly and cleanly decapitated, his bike crashed into a wall exploding, "Aelita are you okay" asked Yumi as she helped her up, "yeah I'm fine" said Aelita as she started running, "come on we've a tower to deactivate" she said, Yumi smiled as she said "she's so keen sometimes", she quickly kissed Ulrich on the cheek as she rode off on the over wing.

"come out Odd I won't hurt you… that much" taunted Evelyn as she swung her sword behind the rock, Odd had moved however and jumped behind her "Surprise" he said as he fired a continuous barrage of laser arrows into Evelyn's back devirtulizing her, whilst inside the tower Aelita walked towards the centre and began to rise, she landed and pressed her hand on the blue screen, the word AELITA typed out followed by Code Lyoko, the blue screens descended into the black void, "I'm not looking forward to repeating the day" she said, Jeremie sighed and said "me and you both" under his breath.

The previous day Aelita was once again feeling her craving for a sugar drink, she placed a coin into the machine, when suddenly she heard James say,
"Heeey Lita", Aelita rolled her eyes and began to walk away, but he tried grabbing her but Dallas stepped in front of him, "hey asshole out of my way" said James, Aelita stopped and watched, Dallas wouldn't move, James punched him in the shoulder, "I'll let you have that one" said Dallas as numerous other people began to watch the events unfolding, "or what I'm gonna kick your arse" said James as he punched Dallas in the shoulder again, suddenly the crowd gasped the loud crunching noise from Dallas head butting James in the nose, James fell to the floor letting out an agonizing scream as his face bleed violently into the snow, "I said one sir" quipped Dallas as he walked away leaving the crowd and James stunned, "good that feels good" he said as he placed his arm around a laughing Aelita, "I wish I could've done that" she said unable to stop laughing.
