Episode 70: Deju Vu

Aelita opened the door of the Hermitage, the old building as usual was covered in dust, she wandered through the building almost as if in a trance, she looked around at the cracks on the wall near the front door, and a small hole on the wall next to the door that lead to the wrecked living room, she brushed her hand on an overturned book case that was covered with a thick layer of dust, suddenly she noticed a small team of what appeared to be commandos standing at the door, all dressed with Gas masks on in black military uniforms, gas appeared to fill the corridors, Aelita began choking heavily as the soldiers moved through the door, but suddenly as soon as one moved towards the stairs, he was suddenly kicked into the wall by another figure wearing combat boots, a Dark Blue button up shirt with sleeves rolled up the elbows with grey trousers, Aelita suddenly woke up screaming again, another nightmare had filled her night and she was sweating heavily again, placing her feet on the floor Yumi turned around to see her
"Aelita are you okay" she said rushing out of bed, her belly swaying slightly, "another nightmare" she asked, but Aelita could only nod, Yumi quickly rubbed the younger girls head before she decided to move Aelita to the wash room, pressing a tap by the sink she quickly threw water into Aelita's face to try and calm her down but then as by clockwork Sissi burst into the room "WAS THAT YOU SCREAMING HUH" she shouted not helping the situation, Aelita's face began to fill with tears, Sissi instantly panicked not out of sympathy but because of what trouble she was going to get in, "what's all this about" said Jim in a half concerned and half annoyed tone, he then noticed Aelita Crying in Yumi's arms, and moved past Sissi and grabbed Aelita, "Come on" said Jim in a comforting tone, Yumi stood up behind them and followed carrying her belly as fast as she could after them, all the females opened their door as having been woken up by all the noise, Evelyn who usually slept naked just poked her head out of the door to avoid Jim, she looked confused as to what was going on.

The following morning everyone was sitting outside the Cafeteria, William and Ulrich had sparked a small friendly feud and were doing push ups to see who was gonna win, Jeremie and Yumi were sitting next Aelita on the steps, Odd and Dallas were standing nearby, they listened as Aelita recalled what she could of the dream,
"there were these soldiers and the hermitage was flooding with Gas" she said, they looked at them and were confused to the dream, "Was their anything else" asked Yumi as she placed a comforting arm around the younger girl, "not that I can recall, other than choking on the gas" she added, the others looked at one another and were silent until Dallas said "Anyone got a dream guide", Aelita managed to chuckle "it was probably just a nightmare everyone has them" said Yumi, Ulrich looked up from his press ups remembering when XANA attacked them using nightmares, "happens to me all the time, one night I dreamt I was on a date with Sissi" said Odd this cause most if not all of them to feel a tiny bit queasy, "speaking of which, how's your internet dating going Odd" asked Yumi, Odd smiled with joy and said "It's going great, theirs his fantastic girl I've really flipped over too, and I've just found out she's a student at Kadic Academy, it's totally crazy, I see her every day and I have no idea who she is", Dallas and Jeremie rolled their eyes, they had the most unfortunate pleasure of reading the messages when they were on more than one occasion when Odd had left them open, "what's worse is that he stayed up all night exchanging messages with her, I didn't sleep at all" said Ulrich with a fake yawn, William however chuckled and said "Explains how I'm currently beating you" as he sped up his push ups, "she sends me these messages that are so romantic like…" started Odd but Jeremie who'd seen more than enough raised his hand and said "nope, none of that again please" causing the others to laugh, then they heard Jeremie's watch beep, Ulrich stopped with his push ups "great time to get wet, you gonna cut swimming Einstein" asked Ulrich as he walked over, Jeremie stood up and said "No I can't, Jim has already warned me" before breaking into an impression of Jim, "No more dumb excuses you hear", Dallas rolled his eyes, "we'll finally get to see that buff athletic body of yours" said Odd mocking him, "What about you" said Yumi as Dallas helped her up, "Just gotta hope the water won't rust my circuits or causes me to sink" he said crossing his fingers.

Despite Odd's comments and because his strength was more in his head than his body, Jeremie's body was far from athletic, he was skinny and would be laughed out of a gym if he stood in one ready to exorcise, Odd had managed to gain some muscle from his running to counter XANA but this was just enough to class him as fit, his main enjoyment of the lesson was watching the girls in their swimsuits, Aelita had gone with a more conservative approach compared to the others in the class, she was wearing a light pink swimsuit, compared to the Likes of Laura who was wearing a more squared Bikini that covered her breasts, and Heidi who was wearing a green triangle Bikini, however all were outdone by Sissi who was wearing a bright pink string Bikini with darker pink Hearts imprinted on them, this was to get the attention of Ulrich, who was sitting with the other warriors, he and Adam who was watching them from afar were next in the fitness chain, they regularly worked out, Ulrich was more from Martial arts whilst Adam was more from weights as he would lift weights like others a knife and fork, at the top of the chain was Dallas, despite being a clone his body was modelled on the real one which was someone who'd dedicated most of his time to getting his body fat to a low level whilst getting his muscles big enough to make Jessie Ventura think he was over doing it, as such many of the females in the class as soon as they saw him without his shirt on and in his shorts were swooning over him, Even Sissi couldn't resist a glance or two, The Attention however was wanted by Dallas, to him and the warriors however it found it more entertaining than Jim's somewhat inaccurate teaching
"the human body is made up of 90 percent water, and that is why it floats, and that is why contrary to what you might think, water floats…" said Jim as he paced back and forth in front of the group, "Don't forget Archimedes principle, anybody plunged into a liquid, is a ah… ah.." Said Jim forgetting what he needed to say, "comes out wet" said Odd sarcastically "Yeah… I uh no… that's not it" said Jim who was now even more confused than before "now no one has to be scared of the water" said Jim, calming everyone before completely ruining it by saying "unless of course you're lost at sea", Dallas rolled his eyes as he watched the new PE assistant walk over to the pool cover and begin to remove it, Kid was all they knew of his name, he was of Chinese descent and well-built for his average statue, his hair was a buzz cut, a rumour was that he had a military background but he never commented on it, he was popular enough so he wasn't mocked as often as Jim, Odd however was busy listing off who he thought could be his online lover, with each name he raised a finger "Taliea, no, Laura, no, Sophie, yeah Sophie she fits the profile of all the chat messages" he said with almost absolute certainty, "what makes you think it's a girl in our class, it could just as easily be Millie or Tamiya" said Ulrich shuddering at the thought, "which reminds me of the time I was a salvage diver" said Jim, Nicholas simply asked "You used to be a salvage diver Jim", Jim rubbed his face and said "I'd rather not talk about it", Odd and Ulrich still weren't listening as Ulrich said "Might be in Yumi's class or maybe you could be a toyboy" with a chuckle, however this alerted Jim to their conversation, "Stern, Della robbia" said Jim pointing at them, "I'm sorry if I'm boring you" he added sarcastically "Okay on deck" he said pointing towards the diving platform, then he noticed how slowly the pool cover was moving, "What's taking so long" he yelled to Kid, "The Machines slow as usual" yelled Kid back, Aelita suddenly grabbed her head and felt a small pain, Jeremie who was sitting next to her looked at her and asked "you okay" Aelita forced a smile "uh-huh" she responded with a lie, Ulrich and Odd stood on the small platforms ready to dive as soon as the cover was clear, which was moving slowly, "it'll be the end of the lesson by the time it's gone" said Adam as his hands got shaky as he was going cold turkey, he suddenly noticed as Aelita grabbed her head again, she found herself back in the Hermitage, the gas was filling her lungs and causing her to choke, the gas Masked soldiers made an advance again, she stood up in panic, "what the…" said Adam, she then moved towards the pool, with Jeremie, Ulrich, Dallas and Odd watching as she suddenly collapsed onto the sheet, "AELITA" shouted Jim, she was pulled under, "Action stations" said Jeremie, Ulrich and Odd quickly jumped into the clearing of the pool and swum towards Aelita, Jeremie jumped in having found a clearing in the water, Dallas was about to follow then he remembered and moved to Adam, "will I sink or be damaged" he asked in a panicked hurry, Adam looked at the drowning Aelita, "shouldn't do" he said worried as he jumped in as well, Dallas took his word and jumped causing a massive splash, the five swam towards Aelita, Ulrich and odd moved beneath her and quickly began pushing her up, "Jeremie move above the covers" said Dallas as he dove under, Jeremie quickly moved towards Aelita who was now being covered in the sheet, Adam moved to help him as the two removed the covers from her with Jeremie grabbing her and pulling her to safety, Kid rushed from the other end of the pool and stood there and Helped Jeremie get Aelita out of the pool, Adam climbed out as well showing what appeared to be genuine concern, Jeremie grabbed the side of the pool, then he realised, Dallas then erupted from beneath the surface with Ulrich and Odd, "When I said Action stations that doesn't mean nearly drown" said Jeremie relieved they were okay, Dallas looked at Adam confused by his concern.

"It was the same dream again, the gas, the soldiers, the Hermitage" said Aelita, the others had moved her back to her room and she was now laying in bed with the others around her, Odd was on Jeremie's laptop sitting at the foot of the bed, whilst Yumi and Ulrich were sitting on her bed, whilst the others were stood near Aelita, "The Doctor said you passed out from the cold" said Yumi crossing her arms, "I doubt that's it, that massive overhaul the gym facilities had, they had a heated pool installed" said William as he looked towards her, "regardless of why I passed out, what about these visions" Asked Aelita, Jeremie shook his head "I have no idea, although I'm sure it's no big deal" he said certain of his choice of words, "the best thing is for you to get some rest, we'll talk about it later" said Jeremie as he rubbed her head, she smiled at the feeling, "we'd better get going or we're gonna be late" said Yumi as she stood up with William helping her, Jeremie checked his watch "Yeah same here, if XANA doesn't get us, Mrs Hertz will" said Jeremie slightly fearful "wait a minute I'm just about to find out who she is" said Odd excited to meet his online girl, but Ulrich shot him down "come on Romeo you can find out after class" he said, Odd stood up disappointed but Jeremie lifted his spirits by saying "take the computer with you", Odd smiled and responded "Thanks" he followed Ulrich and Dallas out of the room, Jeremie stood at the door and looked at Aelita, "See you later, I'll come back and check on you after science" he said closing the door slowly, Aelita waved with a smile, but she had no intention of staying in bed and she stepped out of bed.

The late bell rang and despite the warriors being late they still walked in with most of the class still getting ready, Jeremie was concerned about Aelita but Dallas rested his hand on the smaller boys shoulder to comfort him, Ulrich moved to his desk as quick as he could to avoid Sissi which he succeeded, but Odd bumped into her,
"Can't you look where you're going you clumsy dork" said Sissi, Odd looked up at her and said "Sorry Sissi I mistook you for a door post", he then followed Ulrich to their desk, Adam who was sitting at his desk was furiously writing and scribbling out lines as soon as he was done with them as he scratched his head, "What're you doing" asked Sissi as she sat down next to him, "Nothing… just some writing" he said obviously lying but Sissi didn't pay it any attention and just accepted it, Odd opened Jeremie's laptop and began typing to see if he'd had any more messages, "Hey" he said, Ulrich looked over whilst Dallas leaned back "She's in our class" he added, Dallas raised his eyebrows, "she said she has science now with Mrs Hertz" said Odd his heart beginning to pound, then Jeremie realised something and grabbed the laptop, "I forgot to check something" he said as he began typing, then suddenly Mrs Hertz who was in a particularly foul mood for whatever reason smacked her ruler onto the desk, leaving everyone amazed it didn't break, "Settle down and be quiet please" she said looking at everyone sternly, "open your books to page 99" she added as she turned and grabbed her chalk, but as Dallas covering for Jeremie opened his book as well, the later discovered an activated tower, "oh shit" said Jeremie, Ulrich looked from over his shoulder, he quickly raised his hand and said "Mrs can I go to the bathroom", Mrs Hertz looked at him, "and me" said Ulrich raising his hand, "And me" added Odd, Mrs Hertz looked more cross but it didn't help as Dallas raised his hand and said "me too", this was the straw that broke the camel's back as she again slammed her ruler down shouting "OH NO YOU DON'T", this caught everyone off guard "It's always the same with you four" she added calming down slightly, "you should have gone before class, now put that computer away before I take it away" she added sternly, the group sighed in unison, Adam then discreetly typed on his phone.

In their History Class Yumi and William sat at the front of the class, it wasn't ideal nor was it either of their choices but the faculty insisted Yumi stay near the front considering her pregnant condition and in case of an emergency it was better, Yumi was scribbling a few names on a sheet, William looked down at it,
"Baby names" he asked as he found it more interesting than history, "Yeah still don't know what me and Ulrich are calling it, or him" responded Yumi, Evelyn looked over at them, XANA had ideally put her in their class to monitor them, then she heard a small ringing that she knew meant XANA had activated a tower, Yumi looked up from her baby names, then she noticed out the window Aelita walking towards the forest "Is that" said Yumi as Aelita disappeared in the tree line, "is what" asked William as he leaned back to get a better look, "Mr Dunbar unless red Dawn is occurring outside let's focus on a real Russian invasion" said their teacher noticing William not paying attention.

Aelita walked along the path through the woods, she was walking almost like she was in a trance, but she was looking for answers and she knew exactly where to look, the catalyst for her dreams, the Hermitage, she closed her eyes and kept seeing the soldiers, each time a new detail would either appear or change, sometimes they would stand there, others they would aim and move towards her, she exited the woods to see the run down building, meanwhile back in class the warriors were getting bored and were running out of patience with class, Jeremie kept checking his watch, Dallas was doing the same, then Jeremie noticed something "Why is your watch the other way around" he asked, Dallas looked at him and said "dunno always been like that", Aelita walked up the to the front door, the steps had been weathered with age, and the door had numerous cracks and few dents where it had clearly been smacked into something, looking inside the run down building she briefly saw what it looked like in its better days with all the ruined furniture looking brand new before appearing as it did again, she walked through exploring the damage that the building has sustained, a massive man sized mark sat in the wall, a vision occurred where she saw one of the soldiers being kicked into it, she passed a few blood stains on the floor, looking into the ransacked kitchen, the cupboards had been turned in and out, then the living room which had become dilapidated over the years, suddenly she heard music, as if it was being played on the piano, suddenly there was a flash and the living room was pristine, nothing was wrong, she noticed the source of the music as she watched Franz Hopper playing Twinkle, Twinkle little star, sitting near him was another two men and below them on a blanket was a baby it couldn't have been more than a few days old, she didn't recognise one of the men, but the other she briefly did as Ralph Couture, walking over the vision ended as did the music, "Calm Down Aelita" she said to herself composing herself over seeing these ghost.

Back in class Hertz was boring them all to death as usual, barely anyone was paying attention, only Laura and Herb were as they were the book nerds not focused on the possible end of the world,
"And that means" said Mrs Hertz then she turned to the class and said "Sissi", this caught her off guard as she'd been drawing a heart with an arrow through it, "It means a pound of metal… weighs nearly a ton" she said panicking, Mrs Hertz was disappointed as the rest of the class laughed, then the bell rang, everyone rushed the warriors more than the others, "You guys warn Yumi, Dallas with me, let's go get Aelita" said Jeremie as they split up in the hallway "we'll meet at the factory" said Jeremie from the other end of the corridor, however they didn't know Aelita's actual location, she moved up stairs to the second floor, unlike the first it was barely touched, the only damage she could see was a broken window, then she moved towards the child's bedroom which was in a total wreck as she already knew, she felt her head having a small migraine, whilst at the school Jeremie knocked on her door, "Aelita" he said as he opened the door to see the room empty and Mr Puck sitting on the bed in her place, "now that's a great trick" said Dallas sarcastically, Jeremie looked up at him as he phoned Aelita, "Jeremie" she said answering breaking another vision "Aelita where are you" asked Jeremie as he and Dallas moved out of the dorm building "at the hermitage" she said standing looking out of the shattered window, "But you should be resting" said a starting to panic Jeremie, "but these visions, they're haunting me, I've got to know where they're coming from" said Aelita scared slightly by everything that was going on, "right anyway listen, you outta know XANA is on the offence the others are already on their way to the factory, Don't move me and Dallas will come and get you" said Jeremie, but Aelita was being stubborn as she responded "I'm big enough to go by myself", Jeremie rolled his eyes, "okay but hurry" he said as he hung up, Aelita pocketed her phone as she looked out of her window, suddenly with a flash she saw a small group of soldiers with one holding a gas grenade launcher aiming at her room, she screamed and backed away which broke the vision, suddenly it started again as she heard a smooth American accent speak out to her "Aelita, come quickly", she turned to see Franz hopper and the gas surrounding them as he held a cloth to his mouth, then he disappeared "hello" she said moving wearily towards the door "is anyone there" she moved down the stairs, suddenly the soldiers appeared again, they raised their weapons, but before she could scream she felt the gas choke her lungs, suddenly she felt herself pushed as a figure she didn't recognise pushed her aside and jumped kicking one of the soldiers into the wall with enough force to seemingly knock him out, then with a flash the vision faded, "AELITA COME ON" shouted a choking Hopper, she followed suit as best she could with the feeling of gas in her lungs, she rushed outside where the feeling cleared that of her choking lungs, "Quick in here" said Hopper in another vision as he waved her towards him at the entrance to the sewer, she rushed over and closed the door, she looked at him holding his shoulder as the vision ended.

William and Yumi entered the computer room, with the advancing stages of her pregnancy she had to take the ramp down to the factory floor and not the ropes,
"sorry we're late" said Yumi, Dallas looked up from leaning forward next to Jeremie "No need" he said smiling to make her feel better, Aelita swung down on the rope and entered the elevator, she was getting both increasingly intrigued and scared by her visions, she pressed the button and elevator descended, "Where's Aelita" asked Ulrich, Jeremie shook his head "I said I was gonna pick her up, but she didn't let me" he said strangely calm, then the door opened, Dallas and Ulrich raised weapons just in case, Ulrich had grabbed the 1887 whilst Dallas the Glock, but it was Aelita "sorry I'm late" she said, the two lowered their guns, "Aelita are you okay" asked Jeremie as Aelita walked towards them, "I had… I had some more visions" she said, she almost began to cry as she said "I saw the soldiers again, they were after me and…" she could barely speak, "who" asked William as he stepped forward "Franz Hopper" she said, the others were shocked by this revelation, Dallas began to think back, then when the others weren't looking he pulled out his phone and checked a message he'd received, "Huh, are you sure" asked Yumi, Aelita nodded "I know it sounds Crazy but I'm sure it was him" she said worried if she was losing it, "What if that's XANA's attack" said Odd speaking up, "What" asked Aelita confused and shaking "These visions" he clarified, this impressed Jeremie and he nodded saying "XANA is perfectly capable of stimulating your visual cortex" but then they remembered, "Best get to Lyoko" added Jeremie, the others walked towards the elevator, but Aelita stopped and turned back to face Jeremie and Dallas, "there was something else" she said, the two looked confused, "There was a baby in the hermitage, in my vision that is" she said, Jeremie's eyebrows raised as he looked at Dallas, "Best look into it" he said, Dallas nodded in agreement, Aelita entered the elevator and it descended a floor.

The five dropped into the desert sector, the Lyoko Dallas was sitting against the Over-Rider as he watched them virtualize,
"Here are your vehicles" said Jeremie as the Over-Bike, the Over-Board and the Over-Wing spawned, Aelita stepped onto the back of the later, whilst William joined Odd on the Over-Board "You do know how to fly this thing right?" asked William, this caused the others to chuckle, except Dallas who mounted his vehicle and began to gun its engine, whilst back in the computer room Dallas looked at his phone, "lock the door when I'm gone" he said as he grabbed his Glock and made sure it was loaded, "What" said Jeremie confused as he moved away from the screen "where are you going" he asked, Dallas looked down, "I'm gonna investigate" he replied as he entered the elevator, whilst on Lyoko the warriors were making good progress towards the tower, "XANA's monsters up ahead" said Jeremie, then they spotted they two blocks and a Tarantula, "That's a light defence force isn't it" asked William, Odd smiled and responded "Yeah just how I like it", Yumi pulled over and let Aelita off, "wait here" she said but Dallas took a different approach and darted towards the monsters, the Tarantula rapidly fired at him, the lasers struck the Over-Rider and it devirtulized but this led to Dallas skidding on the ground towards the creature, it ignored him no longer seeing him as a threat, but Dallas whilst acting irrationally had a plan, as he skidded towards the spider like creature he drew his Sawn-Off and fired up wards with both shots, blowing a massive hole into the creatures head and leading to its explosion, the Blocks turned and began firing but he was already out of sight, "He's given us a window" said Yumi as the four moved forward for an attack, Odd and William moved up first, the two Blocks turned their attention towards him and began to open fire, Odd quickly shifted the Board side to side avoiding the blasts, "I thought you said you could fly this" said William getting worried, Odd then decided to make him more worried and quickly flew upwards and upside down "Laser Arrow" he said hitting and destroying one of the monsters, "Piece of cake" said Odd as he looked back at a still scared William, Aelita who was watching from a far stepped towards the edge of the Plato, she looked down as the transport pod appeared, "The Transport" said Jeremie confused as he quickly typed "but I didn't call it up" he added, Aelita stepped towards it "Aelita what're you doing" asked Jeremie, the pod opened "I did Jeremie I need to find out what these visions are" she said as she entered the pod, "Aelita don't do it it's a trap" said Jeremie, but his pleas fell on death ears, Aelita was in the pod, the others had the final monster surrounded, it fired a quick shot knocking Ulrich to the ground but William jumped and sliced his sword through the creature destroying it, "Yeah" he said with a cheer, "Guys, XANA has succeeded Aelita's gone to sector 5, you have to get there fast" said Jeremie.

The Hermitage was a building straight out of a ghost story at night, old and abandoned, Dallas moved through the gate and slowly approached the building, he was prepared for the worst as he walked up the steps into the hall,
"I didn't think you'd show" said Adam as he stood leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and his anaconda in hand, "It's not every day that you get invited to a meeting by someone who's been trying to kill you every day for nearly two years" Said Dallas as he turned back to face him, "and it's not every day you jump into a pool to save Aelita, or give me information that checks out" said Dallas as he waved his hand to the living room, Adam obliged and moved towards the sofa, and sat down "Was probably a nice house once" he said as he grabbed his cigarettes and lit one, "So what's XANA's plan with giving Aelita these visions" said Dallas as he grabbed a chair and placed it down, "that's the thing" said Adam as he laughed taking a puff, "They're not XANA's fault" he added.

The Warriors had regrouped and were standing by the edge of the Plato, Dallas had removed his jacket after the crash and was dusting himself off, the others looked at him, they were scared of him because of his fractured state of mind, but were glad he was on their side, Jeremie typed Scipio into the computer and loaded the sector 5 map, the transport pod arrived and consumed the 5 warriors and they were suddenly propelled across the sector and towards the sphere like sector 5,
"Holo-sphere system connected" said Jeremie as the virtual map changed, the Pod opened and Dallas stepped forward placing his jacket back on before grabbing his sawn-off "what're you doing" asked Odd, Dallas raised his hand and signalled for them to stay, "DALLAS" shouted Yumi, he stopped and looked back at her, "We don't need another hero" she said, his face snarled but he walked back seemingly agreeing with her, "wow he listened" said Ulrich sarcastically, the wall opened up revealing the Tunnel "Move" said William as the 5 darted off and rushed as fast as they could, "Super sprint" said Ulrich as he suddenly darted off at an incredible speed, "Super smoke" said William as he dropped into his black cloud and moved through the ground at a pace that was only beaten by Ulrich, "The countdown is still ticking" said Jeremie as he watched the timer which read 3 minutes, further ahead Aelita face the Scyphozoa and it wrapped its appendages around her and began draining her memory, "Shit, its stealing her memory" said Jeremie strangely calm, "Almost there" responded Ulrich as he ran into the clearing but they found the room consisted of a load of raising and descending platforms, William emerged from the cloud "Well shit" he said looking around "Any ideas" he asked sarcastically, "only one way" said Ulrich as he jumped onto one of the platforms, Yumi jumped next diving forward and grabbing onto the platform and climbing up, William and Odd Followed, but Dallas remained behind weary of the lack of Evelyn, the others made progress over the platforms, but Jeremie was still cautious of the Memory drain "Hurry up" he said calmly, Ulrich stopped to take a small breather, "you think this is fucking easy" he said, Yumi climbed up behind him, "At this rate, we'll never make it in time" she added, William looked around "I can't see the switch" he said panicking slightly, Odd also looked but failing to see it he raised his arm and aimed at the creature, "Odd mind telling me what you're doing" asked Jeremie as he monitored the screen, "Saving the…" but before he could finish, William shouted "OH SHIT" and quickly disappeared back into his smoke cloud moving to a different platform as Odd looked up seeing a platform drop down and crush him and causing his devirtulization, "Odd" said Ulrich as he looked back, "Jeremie how many life points do I have" asked William as he moved in the smoke, "Barely any why" asked Jeremie, but William used his movements wisely and got close to the squid like creature and jumped out swinging his sword and severing it's appendages, it let out a scream as it backed away, "Aelita are you…" he started but following a loud gunshot he was cut off as he lost texture and devirtulized, Aelita screamed and began to crawl away as Evelyn moved forward and reloaded her Musket, "well great" she said but smiled regardless "2 down, 3 to go" she said with a chuckle as she raised the pistol and aimed at Ulrich and Yumi, but before she could fire, she felt something pull her arm down followed by a punch to the face, Dallas had used the crowbar and pulled her arm down using the crowbar and knocked her backwards, she retaliated violently as she knew what he'd done to get over and began to punch him again and again, he was too weak to fight back, "Only 10 seconds left on the countdown" said Jeremie, Yumi quickly flipped onto a load of platforms and seeing the key jumped onto one that was ascending close to it and as she drew level she kicked it causing the room to return to normal, Ulrich now level with Evelyn jumped and swung his sword slice into her, unprepared for the attack Evelyn devirtulized with a scream, "Aelita get moving" he said, then Yumi ran up beside him, they looked down at Dallas, "You go to Aelita, I'll carry him" said Ulrich.

Adam and Dallas walked around the Hermitage like they were old friends despite being anything but, Dallas was taking everything with a grain of salt, he knew nothing could be trusted from Adam,
"Hopper fled this building, due to Aelita's connection to Hopper, she's seeing the events play out" said Adam as he took another puff, "In fact since Hopper is responsible for her creation" he said, Dallas was weary of him and moved into the child's bedroom, "She mentioned a baby" he said, Adam's eyes shot open he became nervous but hid it, "probably the owner of this bed room" he said as he followed Dallas, the latter knew he was hiding something but went along with it, "I know you don't believe me, but I'm telling the truth you know" said Adam as he sat down on the bed, "XANA wants this timeline to stay intact, and he knows these visions could alter events if not kept in check" said Adam as he extinguished the cigarette, he then looked up to see the Glock 17 in his face, "What does XANA have planned" asked Dallas, but Adam smiled and seeing a plug socket said "A good magician never tells" before he suddenly sparked and zapped himself into it.

As the warriors on Lyoko moved towards the elevator in sector 5, William and Odd moved out of the Elevator in the factory, Jeremie was typing on the computer trying to trace any evidence of a baby being connected to Franz Hopper,
"Einstein what're you doing" asked Odd as the two moved towards him, "And where's Dallas" he added, Jeremie shrugged his shoulders and said "I'm trying to follow a lead but the super computer's being buggy and won't let me find anything" he was getting frustrated, he switched back to monitoring the others, "As soon as you enter the celestial dome, exit sector 5 and head for the desert sector" said Jeremie as the three watched the others, The Over-Bike and the Over-Wing were waiting at the edge of the platform, Yumi mounted her vehicle of choice whilst Ulrich placed Dallas's numb body over the back of the bike and mounted it, "Jeremie is he gonna…" started Ulrich but then he noticed Aelita had opened the window, "Aelita" said Ulrich, Yumi looked back at her "What're you doing Lita" she asked, Jeremie was getting annoyed "Aelita what did I say we're not getting any Data" he said angered, but Aelita didn't listen "You have to deactivate the tower" he added, but again she ignored him, "Aelita" said Yumi again, but Aelita continued with the window "This'll only take a minute" she said confident in her ability's, "It's one of XANA's traps Aelita, XANA created them to lure you to sector 5" said Jeremie he was beginning to let his anger out, "Did you hear me Aelita" he added, Ulrich and Yumi began to look around as the saw the wall began to warp, Mantas were on their way, "Ulrich, Yumi drag her out of there by force" said Jeremie having to go to a last resort, "It won't be necessary I'm sure I'll find what I'm looking for" said Aelita, then the Mantas came through the wall, "We better go" Said Yumi and the two moved their vehicles off to intercept, Jeremie calmed down again and said "Aelita, even if you do find the origin of these bloody visions, what's the point of XANA takes away your memory", Ulrich had to take a risk and flew in front of the Mantas to distract them, this enabled Yumi to get the drop on them and throw her fan at one, it cut into the creatures body and it exploded, she quickly flew under the herd and grabbed her fan, the remaining two Mantas began firing at Ulrich and Dallas, but they missed, it then flew above Ulrich, "Jeremie" said Ulrich as he looked up "what's it doing" he asked, suddenly it appeared to drop a single mine that didn't explode, but it followed the over bike, "Ulrich, Yumi, we've got trouble the Scyphozoa has got Aelita cornered" said Jeremie, Aelita knew about the creature behind her but was too focused on the screen to care, "We need to deal with the Flying Manta first" said Ulrich as he swerved to try and shake the pursing mine, he manoeuvred to try and help Aelita, Dallas who was still conscious, looked down and closed his eyes before slipping off the Over-Bike "DALLAS" Screamed Yumi, Ulrich looked back to see Dallas, he dropped in a dive towards the Scyphozoa, "DALLAS" yelled Ulrich, but he smacked into the creature taking it off the Platform and the two fell out of sight, "Jeremie where is he" asked Yumi, Jeremie quickly typed, "I don't know I can't find him" he responded, Yumi quickly threw her fan and distracted the Flying manta, Ulrich then flew upwards and the mine followed piercing the creature and destroying it "One left" said Ulrich as he focused on the last creature, "Got it" said Aelita as she closed the window, Yumi moved and picked up the younger girl "Come on" said Yumi, Aelita quickly jumped aboard, "Tunnels Open" said Jeremie as he hit enter and the Data flow slowed to a stop, Yumi quickly flew the Over-Wing into the opening and the two exited into the desert sector, "Odd" said William as he tapped him on the shoulder, "What do you thinks happened to Dallas" he asked, Odd looked at the screen "Knowing him probably pulled some trick out of his ass, he always does" he replied, but he wasn't so sure himself, "Tower deactivated" said Aelita.

The next day having had the tower deactivated the warriors were all sitting in the cafeteria, because of the apparent lack of any threat there was no need for a return to the past, Aelita walked over to the table with the others with her breakfast on her tray,
"Any luck" asked Dallas as he looked over towards Jeremie, "nothing so far, I can't find the other Dallas, or this baby Aelita mentioned" he said as he typed, Dallas shook his head, "I feel so much better now that the visions have stopped" said Aelita, Yumi smiled and said "Yeah thank god that's over, it was keeping me up all night", Aelita chuckled, but Jeremie was too focused on the previous day's events "do you think Adam was telling the truth" he asked, Dallas looked at him, William spoke up, "why should he, he's our enemy remember, one good deed could just be to through us off" he said, the warriors were divided on this, then Jeremie noticed a pop up window "Oh god" he said as he placed his head in his hands "Odd it's your date" he said sarcastically, Odd perked up "what does it say" he asked leaning over the table, "it says she wants to meet you by the dorms" said Jeremie disturbed by the memory of the previous messages, "oh god" he said as he scoffed down the rest of his food, "Ulrich, William come with me just in case I get too nervous" he said.

Ulrich and William still had no idea why they'd agreed to this, the three walked casually towards the dorm building,
"so Odd what're you gonna say to your new Girlfriend" said William teasing him, "shut up I dunno" he said in response, "Probably make out" said Ulrich as both he and William laughed "would you two…" started Odd then they saw her, Odd's mystery woman, they wouldn't have been as shocked if the woman in question wasn't in fact Sissi, she was sitting at the arch's with her laptop spraying perfume on her neck, "Oh god" said William trying not to burst into tears, "Shut up" said Odd, Sissi noticed them standing their but she didn't put any of the pieces together, "Hey Ulrich Dear" she said waving at him, "Odd I don't think she's the one" said Ulrich with a chuckle, "What's the matter Odd you're acting as if you never saw me before" she said, Odd rolled his eyes and said "Not like this I haven't".

Thanks for reading sorry it's a bit shorter, wasn't a lot I could do story wise with all the changes I've made only some major details hidden between the lines kinda work and now I'm ¾ done with season 2, and I've still got the best to come, as usual please leave a review any questions they will be answered.
