Episode 75: Infamy

Days had passed since the warriors had doubled their responsibilities, along with Jeremie trying to find the anti-virus, he'd been devising plans to capture Dallas, he had thoroughly exhausted himself and half of the schools paper in the process, he'd fallen asleep at his desk and as he awoke, he looked and suddenly felt sad that Dallas wasn't there to place his blanket over him as he usually did, he stood up stretching as he moved to change his clothes, suddenly there was a knocking on the door,
"Jeremie can I come in" said Aelita the she spotted Jeremie with his jumper around his head, as she blushed Jeremie panicked and not being able to see he fell over "Ow" he said sarcastically as he pulled his jumper off, Aelita started to laugh to try and hide her blushing "Come in" said Jeremie who was embarrassed beyond words "are you okay" said Aelita as she crouched down placing her hand on his shoulder, Jeremie kept his jumper over his face as he could feel the blushing in his face due to the touch of her hand on his bare skin, "Yeah I'll be fine" said Jeremie with a chuckle, as he turned around pulling the jumper off and grabbing an identical one "you sure, you've been working nonstop over the past few days" she said as he pulled his jumper down, "I've not really got any choice" said Jeremie as he moved back towards the computer, "Well I've got something to take your mind off of it" said Aelita as she spun Jeremie around and grabbed his hand.

Ulrich and Yumi had decided to take a day for themselves, and decided to spend it in Yumi's room, Ulrich had finally managed to finish the cot and was sitting on Yumi's bed exhausted at the frustration he'd experienced, whilst Yumi had been laying there laughing,
"You could've help" said Ulrich with a laugh, "I'm carrying the baby, you do the rest" she said throwing a pillow at his face, he quickly moved it and crawled over to her and kissing her on the face "it's kicking" she said, Ulrich smiled and moved his hand down to feel it, "Just one more month" he said as Yumi began to kiss his neck, "Stop it you" he added as he moved away, "Come here" she said trying to kiss him more, "oh god" said Ulrich as she laid on him her belly in the air "See that's not far" added Ulrich as Yumi laughed.

William and Odd were sitting the forest doing their drawings, both were talented artists, and amazingly unlike William with Ulrich the two never had a rivalry, in fact it was mainly what had cemented their friendship,
"What do you think" said Odd as he shaded a picture of a bird "I dunno, everything seems to be piling up, Yumi's just over 3 weeks away and we now need to do a capture mission" said William as he folded up his work, "Anything wrong" asked Odd as heard the paper crinkle, "I dunno how you guys don't suffer from sheer mental breakdowns" Asked William as he stretched his arms, Odd chuckled to himself "we have no idea" said Odd as he stood up and followed the bird as it flew between the trees, "You just have to focus on the more positive things" said Odd as he carried on after it "And that works" asked William as he followed his friend, "I have no idea" said Odd bursting into laughter.

Aelita smiled as she covered Jeremie's eyes with her hands, he wasn't exactly keen on neither the game nor the surprise,
"Aelita where are we going" asked Jeremie getting slightly annoyed, but Aelita was too cheerful to notice the annoyance, "okay here we are" said Aelita as she removed her hands, Jeremie's eyes widened as he saw the banner above the open doors of the old gym CYBERNETICS CONVENTION, some years prior Jeremie would have been happy and excited, now he was partly think this would be a field day for XANA, "Come on" said Aelita as she took his hand, Walking into the hall the two were taken aback by the sheer amount of different stalls and different variety's, "Wow" said Jeremie as he looked around with Aelita smiling seeing him happy, whilst near the main stage, Sissi's group were watching the stall, Sissi herself though wasn't paying attention and was more focused on some of the latest phones being shown in the next booth, Herb was showing a very keen interest in the Bio mechanics, he examined the prototype of a mechanical prosthetic arm as it sat behind a glass casing, Jeremie and Aelita felt like gods with what they'd dealt with and seen, "This is the first model of what we believe can revolutionise prosthetic limbs, those born without or who have lost can have the chance to live normally" said the scientist behind the counter, his hair was flicked back and thin at the sides, his lab coat unbuttoned as were the top few buttons of his shirt "Primitive" said Jeremie, this comment seemed to anger Herb and her turned around to face him "Primitive, get your head out of the movies Belpois" said Herb as he got into Jeremie's face, Aelita moved forward but Jeremie extended his arm to stop her, "Can't believe it" said Herb as he turned back, and continued to examine some of the booths.

On Lyoko the cloaked Dallas stood on the deck of the Frigate, he looked at the mountain sector with pure anger in his eyes; the vessel was stationary almost as if anchored in place, he moved towards the side as Adam appeared behind him virtualizing,
"I hope you know the plan" said Adam as he lent over the side looking at the tower, Dallas remained silent, Adam looked at him and raised his arm extending his blade towards Dallas resting it below his chin, "Are you going to answer me" asked Adam, but Dallas still said nothing, "The only reason I don't kill you where you stand is because XANA needs you" said Adam as he removed his blade making sure to catch Dallas's chin, Adam jumped down towards the tower walking towards it and placed his hand on it the aura turned to red as Dallas stepped towards the wheel of his vessel.

Odd and William walked into the main hall, they had no idea what was going on as they barely understood normal things and with these advanced electronics they were out of there depth, the two walked past Herb as he was examining a robotic arm, one that wouldn't be out of place inside a factory assembly line,
"so what's with the modified Design" asked Herb, the engineer looked down at him as he was tweaking with some wires, "This is the earliest design of the advanced Cybernetic limb" he said as he closed the circuit box, "obviously we couldn't fix it too look like an actual arm" he added, Nicholas was getting bored to death by his friends question, the two were at the opposites ends when it came to their enjoyment, "Einstein" said Odd as he and William walked up to them, "Yeah" said Jeremie as he turned around from a booth containing computer parts, "I think Einstein is in love" said William with a chuckle, this got a small sad look off of Aelita, "suddenly Jeremie heard the beeping from his laptop, "shit not now" said Jeremie as he took off his bag grabbing his laptop, "Tower" said William as he looked around for any sign of the attack, "I'm afraid so" said Jeremie as he finished the scan, "Odd phone the others" said Jeremie as he packed away his laptop, suddenly the slime moved from a circuit box causing it to burst, "What the hell" said one of the engineers as he moved towards it, the ooze moved towards the arm that Herb was examining, touching the computer it infected the machine, suddenly the machine went haywire and began to move erratically, "What on earth" said the engineer as he moved towards the computer, any nearby students moved away as the machine smashed through the glass case, "How is this happening it should be in A mode" said one of programmers as he furiously typed on the computer, Herb quickly moved around to the computer as the programmer moved towards the power bank, "if we disconnect it it'll shut off, but we'll lose the system" he said as he moved away then he noticed Herb "Kid what do you think you're doing" he asked but Herb seemingly ignored him as he typed onto the computer, "All I need to do is" said Herb as he quickly typed out at a speed that was close to rivalling Jeremie, suddenly the mechanical arm locked up, "That should do it" said Herb, Evelyn watched with Intrigue "How did he override XANA" she said to herself, Herb stepped away, the black ooze moved from the laptop and into the rafters, "There" said Odd as he spotted it, "I'll get it, Super…" started William but Aelita grabbed his arm, "Remember the return to the past makes XANA stronger we need to avoid it" she said, William nodded as they quickly rushed out of the hall.

The elevator doors opened, Ulrich and Yumi looked as the others entered the lab, Jeremie was clearly frustrated at what was happening,
"what's with him" asked Yumi, Aelita stopped and looked at her "I tried cheering him up and XANA attacked" she said, Yumi rolled her eyes, "Lets locate that tower" said Jeremie as he sat down trying to calm down, "Dallas can you hear me" asked Jeremie as he put the ear piece in "Reading you loud and clear" said Dallas as he wandered around on Lyoko mounted on his steed, "XANA's attacking" said Jeremie, Dallas pulled up the reigns "Hold, steady girl" said Dallas then he looked up "typical" he said, Jeremie looked back at the others, "head to the scanners" he said, Ulrich stepped forward "I'll stay here just in case XANA tries anything" he said, Jeremie smiled and nodded alright, Aelita, Odd and William moved towards the elevator, Yumi quickly hugged Ulrich whispering "Stay safe" in his ear as she followed on after the others, the elevator closed and descended, "Let's hope this will be quick and easy" said William as the doors opened "I hope so, Jeremie's got enough on his plate" said Aelita as they stepped towards the scanners, "Get ready guys" said Jeremie as he launched the program.

The four squared outlines appeared before gaining texture and dropping, Dallas stood next to his steed and watched,
"Okay guys the towers due north" said Jeremie, the vehicles spawned except for the Over-Bike "Jeremie" said William as he looked up, "Sorry Ulrich requested" said Jeremie with a chuckle, Dallas laughed and mounted his steed, "Hope on" he said, William walked over and looked up "Did I ever mention I hate horses" he said, Dallas rolled his eyes "Just get on" he said, William climbed up, "Wanna put your arms around me" said Dallas laughing, Yumi and Aelita moved next to them on the Over-Wing, "Stop flirting" said Aelita as they shot off, Dallas flicked the reigns and yelled as the horse shot forward, Odd quickly followed after them, "So Aelita, is Jeremie frustrated cause you.." started Odd but before he could finish knowing clearly what he was going to say smacked him on the head, "Don't start" said William as the rode forward.

In the main hall the two engineers and the programmer were looked at the machine and the computer, they were baffled and were looking at Herb who was shaking in his shoes, he'd done what he did in a moment of adrenaline and was now scared of the consequences,
"son what on earth did you do" asked The programmer, Herb stuttered and said "I realised that the machine wasn't going back into A mode, and was jammed in B, so I programed a C Mode and set it there", The programmer smiled and sat down in front of him, "That's pretty clever and under a stress situation" he said as he extended his arm out, "Bernard McCoy" he said, Herb stood up and extended his hand "Herb Pichon" he said shaking it, "Nice to meet you Herb, I think we should talk" said McCoy, both of them were unaware of the ooze and unaware as it moved towards another of the machines.

On Lyoko the cloaked Dallas sat at the wheel of the ship, none of the crew were present, he'd sent them all below deck he wished to be alone, suddenly he sensed the approach of the warriors and grabbed what appeared to be telescope that's appearance match the period of the rest of the ship and his attire however when holding it to his eye the visual was anything but,
"Lambs to a slaughter" he said as he jumped down from the ship, "Heads up guys" said Jeremie as he checked the radar and noticed the ship, "Looks like XANA isn't even bothering with disguising his Trap this time" said Ulrich, Jeremie looked up at him, "You think that means" he asked, Ulrich nodded, Whilst on Lyoko the group looked at the stationary vessel "It looks abandoned" said Yumi as the warriors slowed down, William jumped off the mount and looked around, "I'm gonna check" said William, but Dallas looked back at him "Stay with us" he said but William ignored him and said "Super smoke", William disappeared into his cloud and moved towards the ship, "Jeremie keep an eye on him" said Odd as they neared the tower, Jeremie rolled his eyes "I have no idea what XANA is up to guys" he said as he began typing, Ulrich folded his arms, "There's nothing here" said William as he looked around on the ship, "Okay let's move up" said Yumi, Aelita looked around as he gripped on to the older girl then suddenly she spotted something "Look" said Aelita as she pointed towards Adam moving off on his bike, "Right" said Dallas as he flicked the reigns and darted off "Dallas…" said Yumi but Dallas didn't listen as he darted off.

William stood on the ship, he was curious as to why it was abandoned, he looked at the cannons seeing if he could in anyway disable or sabotage them, Aelita, Yumi and Odd were nearing the tower,
"Anything" asked Ulrich as he was getting anxious, "Nothing" said Jeremie, whilst on Lyoko the warriors were getting close to the tower, "This is almost…" started Odd, but then out of nowhere the Cloaked Dallas spun towards the Over-Board, his left Katanna was held inverted, the board was destroyed and exploded sending Odd flying to the ground "ODD" shouted Yumi as she pulled the Over-Wing up avoiding Dallas, Odd was dazed as he tried standing up, but Dallas turned his attention to the feline and flicking his right Katanna into an inverted Position and jumped towards Odd who managed to avoid the attack, Odd raised his arm and said "Laser Arrow", but Dallas swung his Katanna deflecting the arrow, "Dallas it's me Odd" said the feline creature, but Dallas didn't react as he continued to swing his weapons at Odd, "Odd" said Jeremie as Odd jumped backwards avoiding another swing from the Katannas, "Einstein I'm a little preoccupied here" said Odd as he fired another arrow only for it to be blocked, "You need to capture him" said Jeremie, Odd quickly looked up but he regretted this as the blades became increasingly closer to him, "How" asked Odd but he didn't have time to think as Dallas caught up and stabbed him with the Katanna through his back but this didn't devirtulize him, Dallas quickly turned and grabbed Odd's head kneeling down pulling Odd's head back and snapping his neck and devirtulizing him grabbing his blade, "ODD" Shouted William, Dallas turned and looked up to see William, then he realised this was a distraction as Yumi and Aelita moved to drop Aelita off, but Dallas quickly jumped and spun kicked Yumi, this knocked her backwards into Aelita and both onto the ground, William jumped down from the ship with his Sword above his head, Dallas raised his Katannas and moved as Williams blade struck the ground, he raised it to block the swings from Dallas, but Dallas had the upper hand as he jumped and kicked Williams arms apart and as he landed on the ground drew the riffle and pulled the second trigger, William erupted in flames and was devirtulized.

In the main hall with the initial panic over Herb was smiling as he looked at the machinery,
"So this is the project" he asked, McCoy nodded as he led Herb to the computer, "yeah this is what we're trying to develop, we're not looking to replace perfectly good limbs, just ones that someone might have lost" said McCoy, Herb smiled, then the black slime moved down towards a different machine, it was a bulky machine that ran on caterpillar tracks, it suddenly sparked to life, "Oh god, are you kidding me" said the programmer as he noticed what happened, McCoy and Herb moved over, Evelyn watched with intrigue, the Machine despite being possessed by XANA didn't do anything to even provoke anyone, "What's going on" asked McCoy as he pulled on his glasses, "I dunno it's almost like the thing has a life of his own" said the Programmer, Herb quickly stepped forward and looked at the laptop, "Kid what the hell do you think you're doing" said the programmer about to move Herb, but McCoy stopped him, "Right it appears that you've got only an A mode" said Herb as he loaded a window and began typing as fast as he could, the machine suddenly began to move more smoothly as it moved forward before stopping and turning almost like it was on a timed program, Evelyn folded her arms, suddenly XANA exited the machine and moved away, "Impressive" said Evelyn, McCoy and his fellow programmer looked at Herb, "I think we could use him" said the programmer.

On Lyoko the cloaked Dallas stood up grabbing his Katannas and walking towards Yumi and Aelita,
"Guys you need to get up" said Jeremie as the elevator opened to let William and Odd out, "YUMI" screamed Ulrich as the girls didn't move, Yumi looked up to see Dallas holding the Katannas as he was about swipe down, she quickly rolled out of the way before he could, "Dallas" she said, but like Odd before her, he paid no attention to her words as he swung again, Yumi held out her fans to block the swords, "Dallas it's me Yumi" she said to try again, Dallas stopped for a second, but Yumi didn't let her guard down "Aelita the tower now" said Yumi, but Dallas was prepared Aelita stood up and started to rush "I'm nearly there Jeremie" Said Aelita, but Dallas drew his riffle and pulled the trigger, a dart struck Aelita in the neck, she grabbed where she was struck and fell to the ground "Aelita" said Yumi as she drew her fans and threw them at Dallas but he deflected them before swinging again, Yumi flipped backwards, whilst in the factory the others were in a massive panic, "what's happened to Aelita" asked Odd as he lent forward, Jeremie frantically typed "I don't know" he said as he looked at her window, "Ulrich head to the scanners" added Jeremie, Ulrich quickly moved towards the Hatch.

Across the sector Dallas was still in pursuit of Adam and was gaining ground on him, flicking the reigns faster and faster his steed, Adam looked back with a grin, Dallas drew his bow and held his breath as he released the Arrow, it suddenly flew through the air at breakneck speed and struck Adam in the shoulder, he lost control of his vehicle and spun, the vehicle turned onto its side and crashed smashing against the ground and Adam was thrown as he landed on the ground,
"Hold, Hold" said Dallas as he pulled up on the reigns and dismounted Pulling up his hood as he grabbed his shield, Adam who was heavily dazed and stunned, "ah fuck" he said as he turned to grab his sword and block Dallas's shield, but the swing of the shield was too much for his injured state and he was knocked back, Dallas drew his sword and moved forward, Adam quickly grabbed his again and deflected, "What's XANA's plan" asked Dallas as he swung his shield, Adam chuckled as they clashed swords again, "Its funny hearing your voice" responded Adam as he stepped back, "Why not make this fair" said Adam laughing, Dallas looked at his shield as he put it on his back, Dallas then placed his free hand on his sword as Adam swung forward attacking him, but Dallas deflected the blow and kicked back, "Dallas come in" said Jeremie, Dallas looked up as Adam charged him again knocking the two off of the Plato onto a lower one, "Dallas" said Jeremie, Adam got back on his feet as Dallas flipped onto his "Yeah Jeremie" he said as he jumped and spun kicked Adam away into the wall that ended at Adam's neck, "Get back to the tower, Aelita and Yumi are on their own, I've sent Ulrich but they need back up" said Jeremie, Dallas nodded as he threw his sword towards Adam, Adam deflected it with his sword but in this moment, Dallas cart flipped into the air and kicked Adam's head and due to his position, Adam was decapitated and was devirtulized instantly, Dallas grabbed his sword and holstered it as he whistled for his steed which he mounted mid stride.

The black ooze had not made another move Evelyn followed after Herb, McCoy and the programmer, Security were guarding the currently close booths, they'd gone into Delmas's office, Evelyn had her ear to the door, with Sissi and Nicholas nearby,
"What's she doing" Asked Sissi, Nicholas however chuckled "I dunno" he said, Sissi smacked him around the head as she realised that he was looking at Evelyn arse "Pervert" she said, Evelyn heard the comment but she ignored it as she listened in, "So you're saying that I should let Herb pull out of school" said Delmas as he sat calmly, McCoy stood up and walked behind the desk, "he's managed to reprogram several machines within minutes under what could be considered stressful conditions" Said McCoy, Herbs parents who were on the phone via Loudspeaker, "Mr Delmas does have a point he's only 15 years old and you wish to halt his education" said Herbs Father, McCoy again spoke up "I'd say any education left for the young man is surplus, I'd say his intelligence is unrivalled" he said, Delmas looked towards Herb, "I'm still unsure, I dunno if its right for Herbie" said Herbs mum, Herb got embarrassed and said "MUM" Evelyn laughed behind the door, Delmas stood up and looked out the window, "I admit that it's not unusual for a student to be bumped up a grade… but leaving school altogether, that's another story" said Delmas, the second programmer who was balding and had a thick moustache spoke up, "we admit it's a gamble, but if we're right Herb could help many people live normal lives" he said, Delmas looked down as Herbs Father spoke up again, "What do you want to do son", Evelyn was surprised as she listened through the door and asked herself "I wonder if XANA imagined this happening", she quickly stood up and away "I best head to Lyoko" she said to herself, with Nicholas still staring at her backside.

On Lyoko the cloaked Dallas and Yumi were stilling fighting, although Whilst Yumi was going all out to try and stop him, Dallas was barely having to fight her, he was just playing defensively, Yumi was going all out and was starting to get exhausted, Dallas grinned through his mask and raised his leg kicking her off her feet, Dallas then moved forward and impaled her with his Katannas,
"YUMI" shouted Jeremie as she devirtulized, "that means" said William as he and Odd looked at Jeremie, "Ulrich where are you" said Jeremie, Ulrich was racing forward towards the tower, the use of the frigate was clearly draining XANA's on Lyoko resources, "I'm getting close" said Ulrich, suddenly he spotted the Cloaked Dallas picked up Aelita, "Hurry before he takes to the Scyphozoa" said Jeremie, but alas it was too Late, Evelyn materialized onto the ship and threw down a ladder to Dallas, he began to climb with Aelita over his shoulder before the ladder ascended again, "Damn it" said Ulrich as he looked at the ship, he dismounted his bike and was about to run up and jump but he was suddenly grabbed from behind, "SHHH" said the hooded Dallas as he pulled Ulrich down, "they've obviously captured her for a reason otherwise the Scyphozoa would come here" said Dallas, Ulrich looked at him and nodded in agreement, "What's the plan" he asked, they looked up as Jeremie typed "rescue Aelita, but how" he said Odd looked at him as William helped Yumi out of the elevator, The frigate suddenly began to sail away, "hang on" said Dallas as he grabbed Ulrich and quickly ran up and quickly summoned Eagle sense and landed on the side of the vessel, gripping on, "Okay what now" asked Ulrich, Jeremie was starting to panic, "Is that safe for him to do" asked Odd, the others didn't know what to say, Dallas looked around and then noticed one of the Cannon flaps, he extended one of his blades and pried it open and climbed in, he was quiet, whilst the majority of the silver warriors that crewed the vessel were above deck, a hand full weren't, Dallas moved and opened one of the hatches and pulled Ulrich in, "keep it down" said Dallas as they hid behind some of the crates, "Jeremie can you hear us" said Dallas, but there was no response, "we must have no signal down whilst in here" said Ulrich, Dallas slumped against the Crate as he pulled down his hood.

The Cloaked Dallas moved towards the wheel sending one of the Silver warriors away, Evelyn put down Aelita and tied her hands on the banister,
"Set course for Sector 5" said Evelyn, Dallas turned the wheel as the sails dropped and the ship began to move with terrific speed, Aelita began to wake up, Dallas reached for his riffle ready to tranquilize her again "No" said Evelyn as she stopped him, "No need for that" she added, Dallas looked towards the sky in front of them, "where are you taking me" asked Aelita as she managed to stand up, "you want to bring Dallas back to earth, so do we" said Evelyn as she moved away, Aelita looked at Dallas, "Dallas why are you helping them" she asked but Dallas didn't answer, Evelyn watched from the lower deck, "Dallas" she said as she managed to wiggle her hand free, she grabbed Dallas's face with her free hand, suddenly his eyes widened.

Some weeks prior the leather clad and much more hostile Dallas was in sector 5, he believed that he'd sacrificed his life to save the others, his eyes opened and he looked around to see a room of sector 5 that he'd never laid his eyes on before, suddenly Adam and Evelyn walked up to him,
"Like chaining up a relic" said Adam as he held up Dallas's head, he looked back at his stripped away items, his tools, crowbar and Sawn-off were all sitting on a block near them in the holster along with Dallas's jacket, "and I thought those mantas were a waste" said Adam as he turned away, Evelyn kept looking at him, "What's XANA's plan" she asked, Adam looked back as he turned back and punched Dallas as hard as he could but there was little flinching, "we need to start fixing some problems" said Adam as Dallas looked up as a long shadow was cast over him by the Scyphozoa.

"Get off of him" said Evelyn as she tore Aelita's hand off of Dallas's face, she threw Aelita to the ground before looking up at Dallas, "any damage" she asked but Dallas as usual stayed silent, "I'm assuming that's fine" said Evelyn, then she looked at Aelita, "If I were up to me I'd turn you over the Scyphozoa, but XANA needs you to access Sector 5" Said Evelyn before turning to Dallas "Tranquilize her" she added, Dallas didn't even hesitate and drawing his riffle and pulling the trigger, Aelita feel unconscious as the dart hit her, "good" said Evelyn as the ship carried on forward.

The warriors sat in the computer room, Jeremie was getting anxious, Yumi was sitting against the wall her legs and back were killing her, William was observing the screen, Odd was laying down trying to remain calm,
"so what can we do" asked William, Jeremie looked up at him, "Since Dallas and Ulrich are hiding somewhere where I can't track them, the only thing I can do is track Aelita" said Jeremie, Odd stood up and walked towards the Elevator, "Where do you think you're going" asked Yumi, Jeremie looked back at him "Send me back to Lyoko" said Odd, but Jeremie and Yumi looked towards him, and Yumi was actually about to get up, "Odd you know the health risks involved" said Jeremie, Odd pressed the button and summoned the elevator but Jeremie locked it, "William cover the hatch" said Yumi, William was confused as he went over to it, "We can't just sit here with our tails between our legs" said Odd, Jeremie shook his head "What else can we do, we've gotta hope Dallas and Ulrich can do something.

Dallas and Ulrich sat behind the crates, an empty space had been formed thanks to arrangements of the crates, and they'd occasionally peek outside to see where they were,
"Still in the mountain sector" said Dallas as he moved back to Ulrich, the latter was sitting twirling his sword on the ground, "Where do you think this bucket is going" asked Ulrich, Dallas slumped over "my guess from direction is Sector 5" he said, Ulrich looked over at him "you think it's possible to take this into sector 5" he asked, Dallas nodded duly, Ulrich slumped as well, "wait a minute" he said as he stood up and moved over to one of the crates, "what" asked Dallas as he stood up and followed, "What's in these things" he asked as he removed the top, "Cannon balls, nothing explosive just a massive metal shell that'll create the explosion on impact" said Dallas, then he turned around and looked at the cannons, "whatever XANA's planning it's something big, if he's made this, who knows how longs he's been hording resources" said Ulrich, Dallas smiled as he said "too bad there's nothing we can do about these".

Evelyn was in the cabin on the bed laying down, she looked up at the roof wondering if Dallas was in anyway damaged by Aelita's interaction, when suddenly the entire ship was shaken by a loud crash,
"What the hell" she said as she was thrown from the bed, she moved outside to see the Ship almost like it was going to break apart "What's going on" she said, Aelita had been knocked awake and was holding on for dear life as the ship began to crack apart, "the traversing appears to be more than XANA predicted for" said Dallas as he sternly turned the wheel with enough force that it was amazing it wasn't shattered off, suddenly they passed into the outer sphere of sector 5, "Damage report" said Dallas as he moved from the wheel, Aelita looked at the section of banister she was tied to and began to pull as hard as she could, "check downstairs" said Dallas as he pointed at a warrior, whilst down under his twin and Ulrich had been shaken about during the thunder and crashing, "Ulrich" said Dallas as he moved a crate off of him "You okay" asked Dallas, Ulrich looked up and said "Yeah flattered" causing Dallas to role his eyes, suddenly they heard the warrior move towards them, "get in cover" said Ulrich, Dallas quickly dived then noticed their location "Sector 5" he said, then the warrior spotted him, "Okay you caught me" said Dallas raising his arms, the warrior looked confused as Dallas stepped forward, "my hands are raised" said Dallas but as the warrior stepped forward, Dallas extended his blade and stepped the warrior in the neck killing it, "gotcha" he said but then he heard the voice of his twin say "What was that", Dallas moved back "Ulrich bad news I'm pissed" said Dallas as they looked for a way out of the vessel, "check down there" said the other Dallas, Ulrich looked at the canon flaps, "out the way we came" he said as he moved towards it, Dallas however looked at the roof and raised his sword and began to pry the boards in the roof, Ulrich climbed out as Dallas moved up into the cabin and hid under the bed replacing the floor beneath him.

Jeremie had been slumping into his chair when suddenly he was practically jumping with joy as he leant forward and quickly began typing
"I've got a lock" said Jeremie, the others rushed forward except Yumi who remained seated "Its Ulrich" said Jeremie as he spoke into the ear piece "Ulrich come in" said Jeremie, Ulrich who as clambering only inches from death "Yeah Jeremie" said Ulrich as he looked up before looking down, "Where are you" asked Jeremie, Ulrich moved along the side of the ship "mounting a rescue attempt" said Ulrich, then as he reached part of the ship that had been damaged it snapped beneath him and he fell grabbing onto the side of the ship, "Damn it" said Ulrich as he looked at the outer sphere, whilst on the top deck one of the silver warriors moved to Dallas and gave a strange buzzing noise "get to work" he replied as he turned to Evelyn and walked towards Aelita, she looked with fear as she pulled as hard as she could, the Banister snapped off due to damage, "Stop her" said Evelyn, Dallas started running and jumped up to get Aelita but she jumped down, Dallas looked down and turned back as Aelita rushed into the cabin, she looked around trying to barricade the door, she untied the banister and placed it against the door, she looked around as outside Dallas tried opening the door but couldn't, Aelita panicked covering her mouth as she moved towards the bed and slide underneath it, she was about to scream as the other Dallas grabbed her "Shh" he said as he moved so he was the nearest towards the door underneath the bed.

The cloaked Dallas pushed as hard as he could against the door, when one of the warriors moved up to him, and made a strange clicking noise, Dallas pushed it aside and walked towards Evelyn,
"One of the soldiers is dead" said Dallas as he raised his riffle and pulled the second trigger and the door exploded inwards, "Was that necessary" asked Evelyn, Dallas didn't answer as he pulled up his mask and charged at the cabin, he stopped as he looked around not seeing Aelita he flipped the table before turning his attention to the bed and flipping but he found an arrow fired into his shoulder as his twin released it, "run Aelita" said Dallas as he jumped up knocking his twin away, the two drew their blades, Aelita rushed out of the Cabin into the arms of a silver warrior "Let go of me" she screamed whilst in the computer room Jeremie watched with fear "AELITA" he screamed, the others rushed over including Yumi, "Ulrich do something" said Yumi, Ulrich quickly climbed up onto the deck, but it was too late, Evelyn and a small number of the warriors were carrying Aelita towards the exit of sector 5, the other warriors turned towards him, "I'll do my best" said Ulrich as he drew his Katanna but before either he or the warriors could make an attack Dallas was thrown into the clearing, his twin moved after him the warriors moved towards the hooded Dallas, "No, he's mine" said his twin as he jumped with his Katannas but the hooded one moved out of the way raising his shield, but due to the nature of the attack the Katannas punctured the shield "Ulrich go get Aelita" said Dallas as he pulled the shield away disarming his twin, Ulrich nodded as he said "Super sprint" and darted off between the silver warriors , "Dallas are you gonna be okay" asked Jeremie, Dallas stood up pulling out his sword as his counterpart extended his blade "I should be fine" said Dallas as he and his double charged at each other.

Odd was getting impatient as he started to pace back and forth, he stopped and moved towards the computer screen and tapped Jeremie on the shoulder
"how much long until I can go back" he asked, Jeremie looked at the screen, "Odd I can't send you back, it'll be too dangerous for you, even for Dallas it would be an issue, we have no idea what the long term mental effects could be due to coding damage" said Jeremie, Odd was getting frustrated, "Odd you've gotta listen to him" said Yumi as she grabbed his arm, "How can we sit back" replied Odd, William stepped forward "It's all we can do" said William, whilst on Lyoko Evelyn was moving into sector 5 the warrior was still holding onto Aelita, "Where is that damn key" said Evelyn as she looked around, "key" said Aelita in a fake confused tone, Jeremie heard this "the key" he said as he opened the countdown window, "So XANA doesn't control it" said Jeremie, he watched the timer countdown "Ulrich come in, if you can stall Evelyn we might be able to stop them" he added, Ulrich nodded as he said "Right" as he entered the main room, Evelyn spotted him before looking at a couple of the warriors "Stop him" she said, two of them moved forward and blocked the path, one swung at Ulrich to which he jumped out of the way avoiding it, Evelyn spotted the key, "There you are you son of a bitch" said Evelyn as she moved towards it, "Shit" said Ulrich as he ran forward again but the silver warrior stepped forward blocking him and knocking him down, raising its sword it swung down at Ulrich who avoided the attack by opening his legs "Whoa that was close" he said, then he noticed Evelyn jump up and get closer to the key, "come on" he said angrily as he grabbed his sword and rolled backwards onto his feet and charged the Warrior stabbing his sword into the warrior, it exploded knocking Ulrich back causing him to drop his sword "Damn it" said Ulrich, then he noticed as Evelyn pressed the key, "ULRICH HELP" screamed Aelita, Ulrich looked at her quickly, "bollocks Jeremie tell me she's outta time" he added, but Jeremie looked at the timer "I'm afraid not" said Jeremie.

Back on the ship the two Dallas's were squared off, the two were equally matched, whilst the hooded one was showing expertise with a sword and shield, his double was showing equally impressive defensive skills with his wrist blades,
"Tell me" said the hooded Dallas as he charged again lunging his sword and then following with his shield which gave his counterpart opportunity to retrieve one of his Katannas "Because with XANA I'm better and stronger" said the counterpart as he grinned through his mask and jumping with a lunge causing Dallas to raise his shield, his counterpart smiled as he raised his legs grabbing his other Katanna then kicking off the shield flipping in the air landing on his feet, "You need them" said Dallas, but his twin didn't listen as charged again, Dallas barely dodged as he moved out of the way, "right" he said as he holstered his shield and placed both hands on his sword "Bring it" said Dallas, his twin smiled at the invitation as he charged with his Katannas which collided against Dallas's sword before the two stepped away, they collided swords again and again trying to break through each other's defence, "remember" said Dallas as he jumped and spun kicked his twin knocking him back, "You need them" he added as he charged his twin, but his twin quickly raised his leg colliding with Dallas's jaw knocking off his feet, "I need no one" said the double as he grabbed his riffle ready to tranquilize Dallas, he looked back "Jeremie what are my life points at" he asked, Jeremie typed and said "I don't know I've barely got a signal on your vitals" Dallas looked at his twin as he aimed the riffle "forgive me Jeremie" he said as he suddenly yelled out summoning every bit of Eagle sense he could firing it forward, his double was knocked to the ground almost traumatised as the warriors were knocked down, and one was knocked over the edge, Dallas stood up feeling faint "That was stupid and reckless" said Jeremie as he began to panicking "Story of my life" said Dallas as he rushed off onto the platform and after the others.

Evelyn moved down towards Aelita, Ulrich was dodging the attacks from the other warrior, he was defenceless and despite having a wrist blade he wasn't properly trained in defensive procedures,
"now for your part" said Evelyn as she led the warrior carrying Aelita away, "Aelita" said Ulrich the silver warrior swung again, Ulrich crouched and ducked down, but the warrior nor Ulrich expected Dallas to run up and jump over Ulrich striking the warrior back, "Get Aelita" said Dallas as he drew his sword and shield, Ulrich nodded as Dallas kicked his sword back to him, Dallas looked at the warrior as it swung its sword, Dallas quickly dodged and whacked his sword into the creature knocking it back again, followed quickly by his shield it knocked the soldier downwards as it lent over, Dallas raised his sword decapitating the creature, "Jeremie any more monsters" said Dallas, Jeremie typed and looked at the radar, "you're all clear" said Jeremie, Odd began to calm down hearing this words, "Feeling better" asked Yumi, Odd nodded as he sat down next to her "Yeah a bit" he replied then William joined them, "Ulrich knows what he's doing, as does Dallas I man I'd never want to get on his bad side, again that is" he said with a laugh.

The silver warrior dropped Aelita on the edge of the platform, she looked back at the creature and Evelyn, however Evelyn looked at the frigate with its downed crew,
"Useless" she said as she turned back towards the warrior, "guard her" she said before looking at Aelita "what do you…" started Aelita but Evelyn slapped her knocking her to the ground , "There is a program you're gonna download" said Evelyn before picking up Aelita, "Even try to run and I'll put this bullet in your head" she said as she placed her musket to Aelita's head "Jeremie" said Aelita, Jeremie began to panic "Do what she said" he said reluctantly, Aelita turned and the screen appeared "One false move and you're dead" said Evelyn as she moved towards the frigate, Aelita began to access the data XANA wanted, Evelyn meanwhile moved onto the frigate and towards Dallas slapping him "What's wrong with you" she screamed at him, then she remembered and picked him up taking him to cabin, the warrior was so focused on Aelita that suddenly Ulrich ran up behind the creature and knowing his sword would barely damage the creatures armour from the back, he quickly jumped into its back it stumbled and lost footing and tumbled off the edge, Ulrich went with it barely grabbing onto the ledge, "Ulrich" said Aelita as she helped him back up, "Are you okay" she asked, Ulrich nodded as he stood up "Jeremie spawn my bike so we can get out of here" said Ulrich as he brushed himself down, "Wait we should transmit the data to Jeremie" said Aelita as she returned to the screen "Aelita it's too dangerous" said Jeremie as he lent forward, the others began to worry, "she's becoming more human again" said Yumi with half a smile, "Not sure if that's a good thing" said William as his heat beat sped up, "Aelita disconnect" said Ulrich, but Aelita didn't she looked back at him "I think this could re-join the two Dallas's" she said, Jeremie looked down "Ulrich remove her by force" he said, Aelita looked up and said "Jeremie you need to start trusting me", Jeremie froze up and mouthed something, that none of the others understood but Yumi, she smiled at it, "what is it" asked Odd, but Yumi didn't answer, "Ulrich defend her as best you can" he said reluctantly Ulrich nodded as Jeremie began to see a data transfer, "she's right it's a fusing program" said Jeremie.

Evelyn moved the bed back to where it should be before placing Dallas on it, he still seemed traumatised by what had happened, she slapped him and he didn't even flinch
"XANA what if he's Damaged" she said but she got no response, then she turned her attention to the outside and noticed what was happening, "You bitch" she said as she raised her musket and pulled the trigger but before the bullet could hit Aelita it was intercepted by the hooded Dallas with his shield, "better hurry" he said, suddenly the silver warriors that remained on the frigate began to stand up and move, Dallas jumped onto the boat, "when you're done get out of here" said Dallas as he drew his sword, "What about you" asked Ulrich, Dallas pulled up his hood as Evelyn reloaded her musket, "don't worry about me" he said as he lent forward ready to fight, "Jeremie how long has the data transfer got" asked Ulrich, Jeremie began to type "about 3 minutes" he answered, Dallas grinned and said "You got it", one of the warriors lunged forward, Dallas rolled forward flipping his sword around and stabbing the creature through the back, another came down swinging its sword but Dallas blocked with his shield knocking it back he swung his sword back swiping into the warriors chest plate, "nearly done" said Aelita, then one of the warriors turned its attention to the two, "oh crap" said Ulrich as he drew his Katanna, the warrior got close to the edge, when suddenly Dallas shouted "OI BIG BOY" the warrior turned and Dallas jumped locking his legs around the creatures neck, he spun it around before pulling his weight down, the warrior flipped downwards over the edge of the vessel as Dallas let go, another warrior swung its sword but Dallas stabbed it with his wrist blade knocking it backwards, Evelyn moved out of the Cabin, "you bastard" she said as she drew her Rapier, the last two Warriors moved towards Dallas he jumped up kicking the two in the head knocking them to the sides, "Done" said Aelita, Jeremie smiled with some relief "sending your vehicle now" he said as he typed and the Over-Bike spawned, Ulrich mounted it and held his arm out "My lady would you mount my steed" said Ulrich in a fake posh voice, Aelita smiled and jumped on the back, "Go" said Dallas as he stood ready to fight Evelyn, Ulrich nodded at him as he sped off, "Jeremie we could use an opened tunnel" said Aelita, Jeremie felt at home knowing Aelita was safe, he typed as quick as he could saying "coming right up", Dallas looked at Evelyn before looking at his double, "You've meddled for the last time" she said as she charged at him with her rapier, Dallas was easy and quick to dodge as she was clearly overcome with anger, her movements were predictable "why won't you die" she said angrily, Dallas quickly grabbed her by the best and flipped her onto her back and smashed her through the floor into the deck, Dallas said nothing as he moved towards his double "Jeremie I'm ready to capture" he said pulling down his hood, walking into the cabin Dallas looked at his double on the bed, "come on you" he said, but his double upon laying eyes on him stood up drawing his Katannas, and swung violently at him, Evelyn moved back up into the clearing with her electricity propelling him up, "He's damaged you can't capture him" she said laughing, Dallas looked at his twin before running towards the end of the ship, "What is it" asked Jeremie tracking his movements, "Ready the transporter I'm coming home" said Dallas.

Dallas had exited sector 5 and was now hiding in a tower where XANA couldn't find him, whilst in the lab Aelita and Ulrich exited the elevator, Yumi rushed over to Ulrich giving him a massive hug, he hugged her back, Aelita smiled and looked at Jeremie wishing he'd do the same,
"Well Einstein what is the program" asked Odd as he stood near him, "hmmm… whatever it is Hopper appears to have written it" said Jeremie, as he carried on typing "Aelita" he asked as he turned around to face her, Aelita shook her head getting out of her trance "oh uh, Yes Jeremie" she said as she walked over to him, "Didn't you say it was a program for fusing" he asked, Aelita nodded as she looked at the screen, "What does that mean" asked William as he was confused, "It means we can combine the two Dallas's and hopefully bring him home" said Yumi, Ulrich smiled at the thought, "It seems to use part of my code earth program" said Jeremie smiling "that means Hoppers been examining my work" he added giggling on the inside that Hopper deemed his work good enough to use.

The warriors returned to school walking back in from the forest Yumi was getting exhausted quickly,
"So from what I can tell I need to build a nexus and send the two through it and then hopefully they should exit the scanner as one whole ozzie" said Jeremie, the others smiled and laughed "do you think you can do it" asked Odd, Jeremie smiled and pushed his glasses close to his face, "It might take a few sleepless nights but I should be able to" he answered, Aelita smiled knowing he'd be dedicated to helping his friend, then they noticed Adam and Evelyn watching them throwing nasty looks there way then they noticed something more strange what appeared to be a small moving truck, "What's going on here" asked William, the warriors stopped and watched, then they noticed Herb carrying a small box toward the truck, "be careful with that" said Herb in his whiny tone, "I can't believe that you're going" said Nicholas, Herb smiled and looked at his friend "Me neither it's the opportunity of a life time" he said excitedly, Sissi folded her arms "Well you better keep in contact, I'm gonna need your help for my homework" said Sissi arrogantly, the movers finished and shut the back of the truck "ready to go kiddo" said the mover, Herb looked at his friends "You know I'm gonna miss you guys" he said, Nicholas started to tear up and hugged him saying "I'm gonna miss you too buddy" Herb squirmed saying "let go of me you long legged lummox" but deep down he appreciated the hug from his best friend, Nicholas let go and Herb looked at Sissi, "can I get a hug" he asked nervously, Sissi rolled her eyes and gave him a quick one, unlike Nicholas she felt less than emotional about Herbs departure, just more upset that she'd lost her nerd and the one who filled out her homework, Herb walked towards the cab of the truck as the faculty came out, Herb gave one last look back as Delmas, Jim and Kidd waved at him, whilst Nicholas rubbed his eyes trying not to cry, with a smile Herb closed the door and the truck departed.

Authors note
well this took a little longer than Betrayal I expected as much as this chapter I had more to achieve and do than the last one, and I found this one a little difficult to write, but I'm mostly happy with the outcome, and realistically I wish there was more I could do but it wouldn't come off as well as the rest of the chapter.
