Before Day 1, I've been planning this chapter, before day 1, It drove me insane, I couldn't stop thinking about this, for 5 years I've spent sleepless nights toiling away until this chapter, I'm not ready, what I've been working towards I'm not ready, it's been set up, foreshadowed to shit, and it's gonna make sense, and I'm still not ready for what's going to come.

Episode 79: Revelations

Dallas kicked open the door atop of the science building, his vision was starting to blur as he threw down a bottle of whiskey, the cold winter air not affecting him, he stumbled towards the railing and looked down at the snow covered Kadic academy, he started to clamber down over the railing but stopped as he collapsed on the floor crying out, suddenly he heard his phone ring, he answered it
"What the fuck do you want" he said through his tears, "Its Jeremie, your roommate, I've got that reason for you" responded Jeremie, Dallas hung up as he pocketed his phone, then looking down at the tile on the ground he grabbed his knife from his boot and began to scratch something into the floor, before he stood up and walked away from the marking.

Almost 2 years later, on sector 5 the warriors had made it to the screen with no casualty's and were defending and blocking the numerous shots from the Mantas, as they rained down a light fire spread, one of them moved in for a low attack, Yumi threw her fan which missed the creature and returned to her hand,
"I've got a bad feeling about this" said Yumi, Dallas looked back at her as he reloaded his crossbow "Don't fucking say that" he said nervously as he raised and fired upwards, "You almost done Aelita" asked William, Aelita was moving as fast as she could, "Almost" she replied as another Manta moved in low, Odd fired at it but he missed causing the creature to change its trajectory and it flew in low, Ulrich ducked and raised his Katanna the blade began to cut into the creatures belly, but it remained defiant and still flew away, then it rotated and flew upside down towards Odd who ducked down and fired upwards into the centre of its back, the Manta flew off before exploding, Ulrich smiled and nodded before he was struck in the leg, "Shit" he said as he took the strike, Jeremie looked at the map and radar, "Another swarm of Mantas are on their way" said Jeremie, then the warriors looked to see the swarm move towards them, "This never gets any easier" said Odd as he raised his arm, the Manta's fired but the shots went too wide, "Done, I'm transferring the controls to you Jeremie" said Aelita as she finished on the terminal, "Great Here come your vehicles" said Jeremie as he spawned them, the Over-Bike, Over-Board and the Over-Wing spawned, then Dallas grabbed the Baton from his belt, "follow me" said Dallas as he ran and dived off the platform "What the" started William before Dallas split the baton and the Over-Rider spawned and Dallas pulled up just missing the digital sea, the Manta's started to follow him, Ulrich mounted the Over-Bike with William getting on the back, Odd moved to help Dallas whilst Yumi and Aelita got on the back of the Over-Wing, Jeremie quickly began typing and selected one of the data streams and began to disable it, the stream slowed down and then ceased revealing the exit of sector 5, "Okay the passage is open" said Jeremie, then the Mantas turned their attention to Yumi and Aelita, they fired a few lasers at them, Ulrich, Odd and William exited the passage whilst Dallas moved back to provide cover for the girls, he suddenly dived and split their formation allowing the Over-Wing into the tunnel which Dallas quickly followed them into.

Jeremie had devirtulized the others as he was looking at the data they'd acquired from sector 5, Yumi was in the last days of her pregnancy and as such was sitting down against the wall with Ulrich, as she wanted to spend the least amount of time on her feet as possible, Jeremie stared at the screen,
"So anything good" asked Aelita, Jeremie shook his head as he said "No… I wouldn't call it good", Aelita got upset and slightly annoyed as it felt like yet another wasted venture, "More like amazing" said Jeremie letting her in on the joke, Aelita smiled and chuckled, "With this I bet I can crack the code of Franz Hoppers diary" said Jeremie as he pointed at the screen, "Way cool" said William as he struggled to follow, "yeah but we're gonna need more than the super computer to process that amount of data" said Aelita, Jeremie stroked his chin as Dallas folded his arms, "I'll have to activate a tower" she added, the others didn't like that idea, "That didn't exactly go well Last time, XANA hates it when we play with his toys" said Yumi as she practically yelled at them, "I know, but I don't think we have a choice" replied Jeremie as he leant forward and began typing, "All right can we go eat now, Its mash potatoes today" said Odd clapping his hands together, Jeremie raised his arm and said "you can have mine I'm gonna stay here and prepare the mission", Dallas nodded as he pulled out his crossbow and loaded it "I'll stay to just in case" said Dallas as he placed it down against the chair, "Yumi, take my food, you're still eating for two" Added Dallas as Ulrich helped her to the elevator, "Thanks you lumbering git" said Ulrich as the door closed behind them.

The others returned to school, Yumi had already gone to sit down as she was now carrying her belly, Odd got his portion of the mashed potatoes,
"Jeremie's not coming… he said I could have his portion two Rosa" said Odd, Rosa smiled knowing he didn't need an excuse she made more from him anyway and she gave him an extra serving, "Yeah" he said as he moved along "You know Odd, with all that I just don't understand how you can be so scrawny" said Rosa, Odd laughed and said "I'm not Scrawny I'm svelte", Ulrich brought Yumi her double portion and she started to dig in faster than Odd, "sorry with this thing in me, god I cannot wait to get it out" said Yumi as she shovelled the food into her mouth, "Thanks for waiting" said Ulrich sarcastically which just earned him a shoulder nudge from Yumi but she remained smiling, Aelita, Odd and William sat down, "come on Ulrich don't hold out on us, end of year, what's your average" asked Odd, but Ulrich didn't want to respond "come on Ulrich tell us" said William as he grabbed what he wanted from his tray before passing the rest to Yumi who proceeded to shovel it into her mouth "73" said Ulrich embarrassed Odd smiled cheerfully as he said "well me I got 75 I beat ya" and he proceeded to shove more potato into his mouth, "Only because you picked up a few extra points in art class" said Ulrich, William chuckled "82, so I've done better than both of you" said William in a mocking laugh then he looked at Yumi "What about you" he asked, Yumi stopped eating and rubbed her belly "free pass right here" she said before returning to eating, "what about you princess" asked Ulrich as he played with his food put off, "95.2" she said, the others stopped what they were doing and looked at her, "But only because of math" she added, the others returned to their food, "Yeah but you must have gotten good grades in all your classes" said Ulrich as he slid the rest of his food to a very grateful Yumi.

Adam and Evelyn moved through the school grounds, the later had no idea what her brother was doing, he was limping still heavily affected by his injuries and carrying some bolt cutters, they walked up to the onsite Garage,
"What're you planning" asked Evelyn as Adam struggled to snap the chain on the lock, "come on you…" he started before the lock snapped, then he moved as Evelyn raised the door for him showing Dallas's motorcycle, "what're you planning" she asked, Adam hobbled towards the vehicle "Dallas won't need this any longer" said Adam laughing but it brought him to the ground as he felt his ribs, "Tell XANA I'm ready" he said as he stood up and mounted the vehicle, "Ready for what" asked Evelyn as Adam started the vehicle letting its engine roar, "The final phase" he replied as he drove out.

The warriors left the cafeteria once Odd and Yumi had finished their food, Ulrich had never seen Yumi eat more than Odd before and he was sure he never wanted to again, suddenly Odd's phone went off, he pulled it out of his pocket to check it
"No way" he said causing him and the others to stop, "something wrong" asked Ulrich as he and Yumi turned to face him, "Not really some girl wants me to meet her in the woods" said Odd as he started to get excited, "You're kidding who" said Aelita as she placed her hands in her pockets and leant forward, "The Numbers masked, no doubt about it, it's just another girl whose too shy to admit she's crazy about me" said Odd as he started to walk away, "You know Odd your love life is like something out of a soap opera" said Ulrich as the others turned around and started walking away, "In what way" asked Yumi as she looked at him "Its poorly acted" replied Ulrich with a laugh, "does seem awfully suspicious though" said William, Yumi laughed and said "Never had a random girl text to meet", William sulked and said "no sadly" causing the others to laugh but they were shocked as Aelita said "I did once".

Back in the factory Dallas had collapsed against the wall asleep, but also at the same time alert, Jeremie was typing away on the screen programing the tower program, he'd made a habit of not saving the code so XANA couldn't override it easily, suddenly the super scan opened and an activated tower was located
"Uhh… an activated tower of all bloody times" said Jeremie to himself before he whistled and Dallas shook awake, "don't tell me" he said as he stood up and walked over, Jeremie launched the phone program and dialled Ulrich's number, "Jeremie" said Ulrich as he picked up his phone, "huh, we're on our way, we'll be there as soon as possible" said Ulrich as he hung up, "Bad news" said Ulrich to the others, Yumi huffed and said "I literally just sat down" as she stood up off the bench, "I'll phone Odd" said William as the others started moving, William began to search for Odd's number, whilst in the woods Odd was running eager to meet his date, he stopped at the four way junction on the path, he looked around to see it was empty, "Uh… are you there" asked Odd as he called out, "It's me Odd" he added, then he heard his phone go, he grabbed it to see a text "what do you mean SOS XANA, No way not now" he said to himself frustrated, then suddenly he heard the brushes rustling, Odd turned around to face it, when suddenly he was struck over the back of the head by Adam with the handle of his Colt anaconda, "Whoops" said Adam as he put Odd's phone back in his pocket, then a polymorphic spectre moved from the bushes, it suddenly stopped and reformed taking the shape of Odd, "You know what to do" said Adam as he began to pick up Odd.

In the lab Dallas and Jeremie stood observing the screen, they were trying to work out what XANA could be up to, they were skimming through the news seeing if anything had changed, the doors opened and the others walked in,
"Where's Odd" asked Jeremie as he turned his attention from the screen, "I tried texting and calling him" said William, Ulrich stepped forward, "But he's meant to be meeting some mystery girl" said Ulrich, Jeremie was confused as he asked "Mystery Girl who", The others leaned forward as Ulrich said "Mystery girls don't leave their name" as the others nodded, Dallas rolled his eyes as he said "I'll go find him", he grabbed his keys from his pocket as he entered the elevator, Jeremie rolled his eyes "Not only do we need to decode Franz Hoppers diary, but now we have to deactivate the tower as well, "Let's go" said Yumi as she waddled towards the elevator, as the doors closed Aelita waved to Jeremie, the later smiled as he tried phoning Odd, "Come on Odd hurry up" he said to himself as he was getting inpatient, "He's not answering, he'll meet you later" said Jeremie as the warriors stepped into their scanners, "Transfer Ulrich, Transfer Aelita, Transfer Yumi, Transfer William" he said as the scanners closed behind them, "Scanner Ulrich, Scanner Aelita, Scanner Yumi, Scanner William" he added as they began to spin and rise, "Virtualization" said Jeremie as he hit enter and their blue squared outlines appeared on Lyoko gaining detail and dropping to the ground on the Mountain sector.

Dallas exited the elevator as he walked towards where he stored his car and opened the door before gunning the engine and driving out of the factory, as soon as he was clear from sight, the Odd clone moved from behind cover and entered the elevator, descending towards the Scanner room,
"Here I am Jeremie" said the clone, Jeremie was confused at the sound of his voice, "Not a minute too soon, Is Dallas with you" asked Jeremie, but the clone didn't answer, "Odd" asked Jeremie, the clone finally answered "No", Jeremie was confused as he said "Okay get ready I'll launch the procedure", Jeremie hit enter to start the program, "Transfer Odd" said Jeremie as he began typing, the clone began to spin and rise, "Scanner Odd" he added, then suddenly the error window opened, "Odd" he said but the clone didn't respond, then it spawned on Lyoko and dropped to the ground "Took you long enough" said William, the clone stood up and said "It is okay Jeremie I am on Lyoko", Jeremie was slightly confused "There was an error during the virtualization" said Jeremie, "It is Okay Jeremie, I am on Lyoko" as he loaded the CV window and pressed the Button, "Dallas can you hear me" he said, whilst some distance away Dallas grabbed the CV mike "Yeah what's up, not found Odd yet" he said, Jeremie was confused as he looked at the screen, "He showed up after you left" said Jeremie, then the tower deactivated "What no way" he said, Dallas pulled over, "What" asked Dallas as did the others on Lyoko, "The tower has just deactivated itself" said Jeremie leaving everyone confused, "I'm heading back now" said Dallas as he turned back onto the road but a police car appeared stopping him from turning around then and there, "I'll be a while" added Dallas, Ulrich looked up at sky "Are you sure about the tower" he asked, Jeremie was just as confused "the super scan shows all clear" he replied, the clone turned and looked at Odd, "It's almost as if XANA has called off its attack" he added, the clone folded its arms, "Well that's one less thing to worry about" said William as he smiled, "Yeah easy day, right Odd" said Ulrich, the clone was motionless then he said "Right" before walking forward, "What's up with him, he sulking or something" asked Yumi, Aelita looked at the blank expression on the clones face, "Maybe his rendezvous didn't go well" she said, the vehicles started to spawn, "Guys please remember we have a diary to decode" said Jeremie, they quickly mounted their vehicles of choice but as William moved to step onto the back of the Over-Board, the clone bluntly said "No", William was shocked as he got on the back of the Over-Bike "What's his problem" asked William.

Jeremie had made a strategic decision when choosing the tower that he was going to activate, the tower was situated in a bowl with only one entrance, and a single path leading towards it so there was little chance of a sneak attack unless it came from the sky, which could easily be taken care off thanks to the vehicles, the convoy came to a stop and Aelita rushed into the tower and floated upwards to the top platform,
"As soon as I activate the tower, start the decoding process" said Jeremie, Aelita smiled as she placed her hand close to the screen to get ready, "I'm ready Jeremie" she said, Jeremie clicked his fingers "Okay I'm activating the tower" he said as he hit enter "Now" he added for self-serving dramatic effect, the tower aura turned from blue to green and Aelita placed her hand on the screen to begin decoding the diary, "Fuck yes, it's working" said Jeremie as he was jumping for joy in his chair "Its decoding Jeremie but it might take some time" replied Aelita.

Odd came to as he felt running water on his face, he suddenly shot upwards and felt the back of his head, it was sore then he noticed he was in a more dire situation as he was in a metal tube and was clearly below ground, and water was slowly rushing down, atop of the pipe was a metal grate blocking his exit,
"oh shit" said Odd as he grabbed his phone, he was about to phone Jeremie but then he noticed all but one of his contacts had been deleted, he quickly dialled the number he had left, in the Interceptor Dallas heard his phone ring and he answered it "Hello" he said as he held it between his ear and shoulder, "Dallas I'm trapped" he said, Dallas was confused "Odd" he asked confused as he looked at the number before placing it back, "Who did you expect" replied Odd as the water began to rise to his ankles "Odd hold that thought" said Dallas as he dropped the phone and flicked the switch on the CV, "JEREMIE ITS NOT ODD" said Dallas, Jeremie was confused as he looked at the radar and map noticing some tarantulas moving towards them, "Monsters guys" said Jeremie, the four drew their weapons, "Wow XANA's pulled out the big guns" said Ulrich, then the clone grinned and as Yumi was about to through her fans the clone fired rapidly at her, and she devirtulized, "oh no" said Jeremie as he quickly began typing, "Dallas quickly find Odd" he added, Dallas nodded as he grabbed his phone, "Odd where are you" he asked, Odd looked around and said "I don't know, I'm at the bottom of a massive pipe".

As the clone and the Tarantulas opened fired on Ulrich and William who using their swords blocked the blasts, Yumi stumbled out of the scanner,
"Son of a…" she started but then something much worse happened, "Jeremie" she said, Jeremie switched the audio channel "Yumi I know it's not Odd" he said, but Yumi screamed in pain, "It's not that my water just broke" she said, Jeremie froze up, Yumi collapsed against the wall and began to breath heavily, "Ulrich" said Jeremie nervously, Ulrich quickly answered "Yeah Jeremie", Jeremie was nervous "I don't want to alarm you" he said, Ulrich was confused as he turned and blocked one of the lasers from the Tarantulas, "but Yumi may have just gone into labour" he said finally spitting it out, "what" said Ulrich as he froze up, he quickly blocked another shot as he hand his weapons to William, "I need to go" he said, William was confused "Ulrich" he said as he started to duel wield, Ulrich charged at the Odd clone but was devirtulized "Ulrich" said Jeremie, the scanner opened up and Ulrich ran over to see Yumi really sweating, "Yumi I'm here" he said as he knelt down, she grabbed her hand and it felt like she was trying to crush it, "Ulrich I don't think we're gonna make it to a hospital" she said as she screamed in pain, Ulrich quickly removed her trousers, "No staring" she said trying to remain calm, "That's the last of our concerns" said Ulrich but Yumi screamed again, whilst back on Lyoko William was blocking both the shots of the clone and the Tarantulas, "Jeremie, any chance of backup" he said as he threw the Katanna towards the Clone who dodged, "Nothing right now" said Jeremie as he heard Yumi scream, "Jeremie we have to abort" said Aelita, Jeremie nodded and began to type again, "Son of a bitch" he said, Aelita looked up "I can't do anything, I can't stop the process" said a panicking Jeremie.

The water had risen to Odd's neck and he was starting to panic, his phone had shorted out thanks to the water, meanwhile Dallas was speeding along trying to think where Odd could be located, then he thought for a second,
"Of course" he said as he turned onto a desolate back road, "All cars, we have a robbery in progress, 4 bikers, I repeat 4 bikers" said a police dispatch, Dallas smiled knowing he wasn't likely to get pulled over, he quickly pulled over outside the only place he could think off, the hermitage, "ODD" he shouted out, Odd faintly heard the yell, "Dallas?" he said to himself, before shouting "I'M HERE" the noise echoed through the tube, Dallas slid over to the grate, "Odd" he said spotting him, "are you okay down there" asked Dallas, Odd looked at the water, "Well I've had it up to here" said Odd sarcastically, Dallas quickly extended his hook blade and tore off the grate.

Back on Lyoko the clone stepped up its fire power and was firing Arrows at William with such a rapid pace that he was finding it almost impossible to block both the attacks,
"Right fuck this" said William as he added "Super smoke" he suddenly disappeared in his cloud of smoke and moved short distance with the clone still firing trying to hit him but William emerged and swung his sword down decapitating one of the creatures before he turned and kicked another off the edge, he quickly returned into the cloud and moved towards the clone who had made his way towards the tower, he exited the smoke and kicked the clone away "You're wasting your Time XANA, Odd couldn't beat me" said William mockingly, then the Clone stood still as light emitted from his eyes before he reformed as Ulrich, but his outfit colours had been inverted, "Now that is a problem" said William.

In the scanner room, Yumi was in considerable pain as Ulrich had rushed and returned with a pillow and everything he thought he was going to need,
"How're you feeling" he asked, but Yumi grabbed his shirt and said "I'm squeezing out something the size of a bowling ball, I feel great", Ulrich regretted asking, "Okay, Push" he said, Yumi did as he said but she was struggling, and her pain threshold was being tested, "I can't" she said as she started crying "You've got to" replied Ulrich as he grabbed her hand "Come on" he added as Yumi tried pushing again resulting in more screaming.

Dallas managed to pull Odd out of the pipe using his cable on his wrist blade,
"I'm so glad I didn't go with rope" said Dallas as Odd caught his breath and began to shiver, "Me too" said Odd as he sneezed, Dallas patted him on the back, "Come on we should…" started Dallas but then his phone started ringing, he grabbed it and answered it "hello" he said, but then grew angry after hearing the voice on the other end "Dallas, Dallas, Dallas how're you doing" asked Adam mockingly as he sat on Dallas bike with 4 other bikers cheering with a bag full of money and cigarettes, "Adam you bastard I'm assuming you're the one who trapped Odd" said Dallas as he moved towards his car, "Yeah all fun and games aint it" said Adam with a laugh as he grabbed one of the packets to the annoyance of the other bikers, "It might also be worth noting I've got something of yours" said Adam, Dallas was confused as he quickly patted himself down, "Your bike" said Adam, Dallas got angry as he stepped into his car, "I'll fucking kill you" said Dallas as he turned the key, "You don't have it…" started Adam but before he could finish Dallas hung up, "aint that nice" said Adam as he and the four bikers started moving, Odd looked at Dallas, "Head to the factory, Tell Jeremie I'll be there later" said Dallas as he put his foot down.

The clone charged at William and the two locked swords, the clone was inherently the faster of the two and with a Katanna he had mobility on his side, All William could do was block every strike that came towards him,
"William you need to stop him, XANA is draining the data" said Jeremie as he tried to manually shut down the process, "Aelita is there anything you can do" he asked as he was really starting to stress out "I'm afraid not Jeremie, I'm trying to cancel it but I'm locked out" she replied whilst outside the tower, the swords of the two kept clashing, William quickly kicked the clones leg knocking him down but before he could strike with his sword, the clone punched him away, "Shit" said William then the clone charged in super sprint, but before he could impale William with his Katanna, the latter said "Super smoke" and vanished, the clone sprinted after him as he lead it away from the tower, the clone was trying to strike the cloud but William was managing to maintain a distance, "William you need to be careful you're bleeding life points" said Jeremie, William quickly stopped and the clone didn't have enough time to stop and William quickly punched out and struck the clone in the leg and swiped out his leg from beneath him, William looked around seeing that the two were now on a massive Plato, but this was a mistake as the clone jumped at him knocking him backwards, William grabbed his sword and swung just missing the clone, "I see" said William.

Adam and the four bikers rocketed down an empty road in the fields of the city, Adam was laughing believing Dallas wasn't capable of killing him, and then suddenly heard a crackle from the CV mike Dallas stored on the bike, Adam nervously grabbed it,
"Run" was the only word muttered on the other end, coming towards the group of 5 was the interceptor, its wheels burning against the road, the engine letting out a roar comparable to that of a wild animal, Dallas looked as he and the group neared towards each other at this speed they'd collide on a bridge, Adam suddenly panicked as he turned around leaving his group confused, Dallas grinned as he pulled up the red button, the air scoop rumbled to life as the vehicles smashed into each other, the bikers were either knocked off their vehicles or thrown into the river below, Dallas put his foot down and flames exploded from the 8 exhausts of the interceptor, in almost no time he was behind Adam, the later looked back in panic and fear as he accelerated forward but Dallas bumped him, and in a miracle move Adam managed to maintain balance as he accelerated forward again, the two entered a tunnel, the only thing either could hear was the V8 engine that was now roaring at a deafening speed, Dallas had a face of determination that could be described as blood thirsty, the only light in the tunnel as either from the few gabs or the vehicles, the vehicles were passing into 160 mph, Adam was panicking as he looked back quickly, in this split second Dallas turned the wheel and moved into the other lane, Adam turned his head back but it was too late he collided head on with a tanker truck, he was smashed clean against the front of the vehicle due to the impact, but the rear of the bike carried on and crushed him flat between the two, the truck stopped as Dallas slammed on his brake and hand brake, he looked out the window as the truck driver panicked at the incident, Dallas grinned as he turned the car and moved back along the same road making sure to look down at Adam's crushed body before driving off with the truck driver yelling after him, Dallas's focus broke as he noticed it starting to snow, he smiled at the memories it brought back.

Yumi continued to scream as she tried pushing, Ulrich was not prepared nor was he expecting to deliver a child let alone his,
"Please tell me you see the head" asked Yumi, Ulrich shook his in response, whilst up in the computer room Odd exited the elevator, "Why are you dripping water onto the floor" asked Jeremie, Odd rolled his eyes and said "I'll explain later Einstein" he folded his arms and looked at the screen, "So what have I missed" asked Odd, Jeremie took a deep breath and said, "Williams fighting a clone, XANA is stealing all of our data and Yumi's giving birth", Odd nodded his head then he processed it, "WAIT WHAT" he asked then he heard Yumi's screaming, "Down there" said Jeremie, Odd quickly rushed towards the elevator.

On Lyoko William and the clone charged at each other, William was now able to fight offensively, and his swings were getting closer and closer to the clone,
"Right" said William as he swung again, striking and cutting the Katanna in half, "I was right" said William as he realised that the constant sprinting made the clone weaker and weaker, the clone however knocked William down and made him roll, "come on then" said William as the clone charged at him again, the former quickly blocked with his sword but the clone was determined to push him back towards the end of the Plato, William quickly parried and blocked the sword knocking it upwards before grabbing the clone and throwing him off the Plato, William stood watching as it fell towards the digital sea, He took in a deep breath, he smiled as he felt all of his anger that he had left towards Ulrich was gone, "William what're you doing" asked Jeremie as he was at the point of having a mental break down, "sorry Jeremie was burying a hatchet" said William as he started running back towards the tower.

Yumi screamed out again, Odd had to stand aside in fear of causing any trouble, through the screams Ulrich noticed,
"Yumi I can see the head" he said, Yumi didn't notice though as she was in too much pain, "Keep pushing" said Ulrich, Odd started to chime in "Come on keep going" he said, Ulrich grabbed the head of his child, Yumi kept pushing and soon the shoulders followed "Nearly there" said Ulrich, and then with a few more pushes the child was out, Yumi stopped screaming and kept panting, Ulrich grabbed the blankets and wrapped up the child, "Yumi" he said almost crying, she looked at him and their child "What… what is it" she asked almost passed out, Ulrich moved down next to her as the child cried, "A boy" he said as he handed him to his mother, the little boy had short dark brown hair a combination of his parents, although despite his Japanese mother he had no oriental features to speak off, "here you go kiddo" said Ulrich as he pulled a necklace out of his pocket, "What is that" asked Yumi as she rocked her son in her arms, "dog tags, I can't remember where I got the idea though" said Ulrich with a small chuckle, Odd smiled with joy as he quickly climbed up the ladder, "Jeremie" he said as he opened the hatch, "It's a boy" he said as he started to climb down again.

William made his way towards the tower; he'd failed to notice the remaining monster as he moved towards the organic piping that connected to the tower,
"Jeremie what do I do now" asked William, Jeremie looked at the screen, "Cut the connection hurry" he said, William raised his sword to cut the piping but then the Tarantula opened fired at him, suddenly William devirtulized "William no" said Jeremie as he began to panic again, William fell out of the scanner, "God fucking…" he started then he noticed Yumi holding her son, "Oh that's nice" he said before fainting, but back in the computer room things weren't so nice, Jeremie was starting to panic as the drain neared completion "We're done for" said Jeremie as he began to really breakdown, "Aelita we're finished, XANA's gonna take everything, the diary, my research notes, the virtualization codes, Code earth everything" he said as he started to hyperventilate, suddenly though the aura turned from red back to green, "what the hell" said Jeremie as he watched through his heavy breathing, "Aelita" he asked, Aelita was just as confused "It looks like XANA has lost control of the tower" said Aelita, Jeremie quickly started typing and looked at the progress window as everything XANA had taken was being returned at an incredibly rapid pace, "Franz Hopper" said Jeremie to himself as it struck him, "Franz Hopper is helping us" said Jeremie out loud, Aelita was watching as the screen showed all the information decoded and the stolen data was returned, "What're things like on your end" asked Jeremie, Aelita simply stood in wonder at what she was seeing, "The decoding program, it's going full speed" said Aelita, Jeremie watched on the monitor as all of Hoppers diary decoded in front of him before a new window opened showing a digital book with the words FRANZ HOPPER DIARY on the front appeared, the tower's aura returned to blue as the Tarantula let out a cry and walked away from the tower.

Jeremie had devirtulized Aelita and she had joined the others in the lab, William had teleported Odd so he could get a change of clothes and at the risk of his health had teleported back, Yumi had managed to get her son to sleep, Aelita stared in wonder at the young boy,
"He looks so much like you Ulrich" she said as she looked up at the father, "I don't see it" he said with a chuckle, "wait Jeremie" said William as he coughed up again, "What is it" said Jeremie as he calmed down from his attack, "We don't know if the baby's healthy" said William, then it dawned on the others, "couldn't we use the scanners, we've used them for medical tests before" said Aelita as she watched the child yawn, Jeremie quickly looked at the screen "Okay be quick though" said Jeremie, Ulrich looked at Yumi and said "I'll do it", he stood up picking up his sleeping son and carrying him over to the scanner.

"We're ready Jeremie" said Ulrich as he yelled up the ladder into the computer room, Jeremie smiled as he turned towards the screen but then he was suddenly pulled and thrown from the chair, Evelyn sat down taking his place and began typing, "no" said Jeremie as he laid in pain, Evelyn looked down and said "Believe me Jeremie, I'm really sorry", Jeremie watched as she typed out and pressed enter, the scanner closed and then with a massive power surge that caused the screen to flicker and the lights to die out, Evelyn's program started, in the scanner room the same light effect was happening and the scanner closed, "Ulrich" said Yumi as he rushed over to try and pry it open as he was unnerved by the effect then suddenly with a blinding flash with a light that even shone through the crack between the scanner door, then the light died down, and the scanner opened to reveal it as empty, Ulrich screamed "JEREMIE WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING" he shouted, Evelyn moved away from the console "I'm really sorry Jeremie, I really am" she said then the elevator opened "Jesus Einstein what the hell is…" started Dallas then he noticed Jeremie on the floor followed by Evelyn standing there, Dallas quickly drew his Glock and began to open fire as Evelyn quickly rushed into the service shaft, "Fuck" said Dallas as he ran and skidded to Jeremie "Einstein are you okay" he asked, then Ulrich climbed up into the room, "Jeremie" he said almost crying.

Half an hour had passed and the mood was partially grim and foul, Yumi and Ulrich were panicking, Jeremie had been scanning everything on Lyoko, he was doing his best to try and locate the child, Aelita was standing next to him to try and help, Odd and William were pacing back and forth whilst Dallas keeping himself calm by throwing a ball at the wall and catching it,
"Jeremie please you need to find him" said Yumi, Jeremie was almost crying "I'm doing my best please, I'm doing my best" he said, Yumi placed her hand on his shoulder "We know" she said trying not to get angry, then the final sector scan came up blank, "He's not on Lyoko" said Aelita, William rushed over "Where is he then" asked William, Jeremie shook his head and began crying "I don't know okay" he said, Aelita pulled her sleeve over her hand and wiped his tears "clam down" she said, Ulrich was unable to as he held the back of his head, "Come on, sit down" said Odd as he led the others to the wall, Yumi was close to passing out, Jeremie composed himself, "I guess I could try that" he said as he quickly typed, then his face dropped, "No that…" he started before typing again and then he repeated "No that's not…" he tried typing before looking at something else, "No… no… that isn't… is it?" asked Jeremie to himself.

Jeremie sat staring at the monitor for what felt like forever,
"Jeremie" said Ulrich, Jeremie turned towards him "Everything okay" asked Ulrich, Jeremie didn't know how to respond, "You and Yumi might want to see this" he said, Ulrich was confused as he and Yumi slowly walked over, "Any news" asked Yumi, Jeremie looked down as he looked at the screen, "since I didn't have a DNA match of your son, I combined your DNA's to see if I could locate him that way" said Jeremie as he typed, "Yeah did that yield any results" asked Yumi, Jeremie almost broke into tears again, "Yeah but not… not what I think we wanted" said Jeremie as he clicked enter, then Yumi's and Ulrich's faces dropped like Jeremie's "Jeremie this is a bad time for a joke" said Ulrich as he looked at his friend "Especially a bad one" added Ulrich, Yumi placed her hand on the screen, "It's not a joke" said Jeremie, Yumi looked at him "it's a perfect match, no inconsistencies" added Jeremie, then Odd, Aelita and William walked over, "What're you going…" started William then they all saw what was on the screen, "Jeremie" said Aelita as she felt her heart race, then they all looked at Dallas as he walked over, "what's going on" he asked, but the others remained Silent "you just seen a ghost" he asked as he looked behind him, "Dallas" said Yumi as she stepped forward towards him and grabbed his face, leaving him confused, "yeah?" said Dallas, then Jeremie responded, everything went silent for Dallas his eyes shot open as Jeremie turned the screen so Dallas could see, suddenly a look of pure pain emerged on Dallas's face as his world crumbled before him, he stumbled towards the elevator, Yumi grabbed his arm but his jacket came off and his right sleeve tore off in his hand as he collapsed in the elevator, the screen wasn't telling a lie, Jeremie had combined Ulrich and Yumi's DNA but it already had a match in the super computer, Dallas.

Hours passed and the warriors had barely spoken a word to each other since returning to Kadic, they all sat in Jeremie's room and we're quiet anyone who'd seen them, Yumi had to lie and say she had miscarried and they'd properly disposed of the body, but in reality they had no idea where the body was, Dallas was missing,
"So Dallas… all this time, under our noses" said Ulrich as he struggled to accept it, "I've been running the program over and over again, its conclusive, He's your son Ulrich" said Jeremie, Yumi was sitting curled up on Dallas's bed she was too nervous to speak, "But he has a family, he mentioned plus he's nearly 16" said Odd, Jeremie shook his head, "I don't know how" said Jeremie as he turned away, he looked down at the computer, "I found something else" he said, those who could stand to look at each other moved over, "from the diary I've been able to discover more about Hopper" said Jeremie, Odd rolled his eyes and folded his arms, "Anything useful" he said sarcastically as he like the others were just sick to death, "Hopper did create the super computer" said Jeremie, William slammed his fist down "No shit Einstein" he said but Aelita grabbed his arm, "It's not the time for this" she said on the verge of tears, "I also found out when he disappeared" started Jeremie as he turned around "What Jeremie" asked Aelita, Jeremie looked up "He had a daughter" he added, Ulrich stepped towards him, "Do we know what became of her" he asked, Jeremie started to shed a tear, "She was virtualized at the same time as him" said Jeremie, then everyone stared at Aelita as the pieces clicked together, "did she fall victim to XANA" asked Aelita, Jeremie shook his head and looked down, "she stayed on Lyoko" said Jeremie, suddenly Aelita began to scream at Jeremie saying "But that's impossible, if hoppers daughter was on Lyoko, I would have definitely known about it", then everyone looked at her, the mood got worse as she said "I can't"
