Garo Conquest of Makai
ESKK: Well here we are folks the long awaited chapter 9. I hope you all continued to enjoy it so read and like this fic folks.
(Start Anakin and Obi-Wan)
After Andros and Phonon had left Anakin and Obi-Wan had went off to find the parts they needed. The duo had gone through many of the shipyards on Alderaan and none of them had the parts they were looking for. One of them did but the parts had been bought by someone else who could afford it. Their credits was enough for fuel and supplies not full on repairs of this level. "This is what we get for helping them isn't it?" Anakin asked as he looked to Obi-Wan.
"Well my friend we are walking into uncharted territory with these... Horrors." Obi-Wan said as it was to be expected.
"Gotta give the kid credit though." Anakin said as Obi-Wan chuckled.
"You're just saying that because you crashed his ship." Obi-Wan added to which Anakin glared at him for that.
"It can still fly after repairs." Anakin said as a landing they can walk away from was still a good landing in his books. "Like I always say a landing we can walk away from is still a successful landing." Anakin said to which Obi-Wan rolled his eyes a bit there.
"Perhaps." Obi-Wan said giving Anakin a hard time.
Reaching the ship as Ahsoka walk out of it as she look to her master and Obi-wan Kenobi as she said, "I Had, I had it with her."
"What wrong with you?" Anakin asked as he wonder what is wrong with his Padawan as she said one name, "Churi!
"Oh," he said with Obi-wan wonder what had happen when they were away as Ahsoka started to explain, "I agreed to help make repairs, but I will not be rub up on while she wear her underwear!"
"I told you it not underwear, and I am covering up enough as well," Churi voice called out as both men look towards the female Pantoran at the entry to the ship before looking away quickly, as Churi is seen wearing what looks like short shorts that showing off her legs up to her hips with her boots on still, while wearing a red bikini top of sort while wearing a yellow jacket of sort, that was cut around just below the breast line, over the red bikini with the zipper just barely holding together at the bottom while she had grease spots all around her. (If people don't get it she dress like Cindy from FFXV with blue skin, minus the hat, and the long socks to show off her legs).
"Can you please put something more decent on," Obi-wan said as he gentleman, not a hot blooded male that would gawk at women wearing something like that, with Anakin thought to himself, 'Don't look, don't see, think of something else. Padme might hit me if she hears about this.'
"For me this is decent, and its hot in there while trying to repair everything that I can, with the heat coming off of the tools, and being in a enclose space with another girl, it's get pretty steaming," Churi said in a flustering wear as she open her jack up a little bit while waving her hand down in it as the sweat shine on her skin, as Ahsoka face palming herself as she asked herself, "How does Andros put up with this?"
"I did have another outfit, an old swimsuit I keep with me for a while, it is pretty small barely cover my chest and prate area as I thought I'll wear that to keep cool while I help make repairs, but little miss Jedi was a bit shy at that so I went with this little get up," Churi said as she rub her side down to her hips before lifting up as Anakin quickly get off this topic and move on to the ship as he said, "Speaking about repairs, how is it going so far?"
"Well the system as flush out of any debris, patch up and seal up any hole I found, replace parts we had on hand, but there still a lot of things to work on. How was the hunt for hyperdrive and other extra parts on your end?" Churi asked as Obi-wan broke the news as he said, "We went to many junkyard that was around here, but none of them had what we needed, expect one but they seem to have already sold it to someone else and they are waiting for it to be picked up by its new owner."
"Did you try doubling the asking price to see if they will give it to you instead?" Churi asked as Anakin said, "Could, but it would be too much, as we have only so much credit on us that we can only pay for docking and refueling, and full repairs is triple the worth than what we use to have we cannot afford it, so that fall on us."
"Then let's hope the boys has any luck on their end then," Churi said as she went back inside to do what she can as she call out, "BD, R2 help me with the other engine. We may be going to be here a little longer."
Anakin sighed in relief to that as Obi-wan was the same as Obi-wan said to his former student, "I hoping the same thing if we cannot do full repairs ourselves with what we have."
"Maybe we should have try making bet with the owner for the parts, if there pod racing here, I can surely win it," Anakin said as he remember the time he was pod racing on Tatooine and won the race that help the Naboo crew get their ship repaired and hyperdrive replace as Obi-wan said, "If only if everything was that easy."
Churi shrugged and made her way back into the ship to continue the repairs as she knew if it was up to her she'd be at home with wine, a good read, and a warm bath. But sometimes life didn't want to play her way which was what made it suck for everyone. But unknown to her it seems the guys were having troubles of their own and she was about to be dragged into it. In fact they were all about to be dragged into it.
(Back with Andros and Phonon)
Andros and Phonon were walking around the city looking for Logos knowing full well if anything he was either A with the family in question or B off trying to get laid. As they walked they looked for any green skinned Mirlinian in Madou Robes knowing the guy had a tendency to get himself into trouble. As they walked the two didn't seem to worry about him more like annoyed over him because despite being his friend he was like Churi without her brains. It was a miracle in itself he can even pilot a ship since most things on his mind include woman, boobs, and how to get them. If it's not Horror related the guy was a complete and utter pervert.
As they walked about they soon noticed in the crowd the sound of giggling and looked to find the source. They walked about until they arrived at some sort of flower stand and saw a familiar figure standing there, green skin with marks on his face, short black hair with a braid over his shoulder covered in feathers, and finally Madou Robes that looked designed to be attractive to the opposite gender. "So please Phonon remind me again whose turn was it last time to cock block him?" Andros asked as he looked to Phonon not even surprised to be seeing this happen before them.
"Well last time he got the Arrows, the time before that he got the whip, and the time before that he got the Force throw from Jinga, so it's your turn." Phonon said as Andros nodded to him.
"How shall we do this then?" Andros asked as he looked to Zaruba for any suggestions on how to mess with Logos.
"I shall leave that one up to you my friend." Zaruba said as Andros nodded and began his approach to Logos.
"You got it." Andros said as he smirked to Logos on how to really screw around with him. After all Andros had the perfect way to really stick it to Logos and his antics today that he had been planning for a long time. As they made their way to Logos Andros made certain to keep himself hidden till just the right moment knowing with Logos and his distraction with the big breasted woman before him. Logos was of course unaware of Andros screwing with him or getting ready to as he made his way torts the perverted Makai Knight in question.
With a simple yet funny idea that came up him as he walk around to get a better view of things as he sees Logos giving one of his gentlemen smiles while smelling flower before offering it to the big breast woman that was before him as he said, "If I ever had to compare this flower beauty you to yours, I would say they are perfect with each other."
Logos handed the flower to the woman as she smile to this while blushing to this as the flower itself was lovely, but the moment was about to be ruin as Andros held his hand up a bit like he was about to push down on something as he push his hands down, with Logos pants sudden fell down showing his underwear.
Logos didn't seem to notice, the woman did as she look down at him before started to giggle as she cover her mouth and started laughing, as Logos gentlemen smile suddenly vanish as he wonder what the woman was laughing at until a slight breeze came around as he look down to see his pants was down.
Quickly reaching down to pull up his hands to pull up his pants as he try to pull them back up but they seem to refuse to be pulled up as he said, "S-Sorry about this, new pants and all, and trying to break them out and stuff."
The woman just laugh at this as she began to walk away still laughing as Logos try to go after her as he yell out, "Hey wait! Just let me fix my pants and I'll- Whoa!
*Thud
Logos fell down face first, with people around walking by with little kids laughing at logos misfortune while their parents pull them away as they said to them.
"Do not look directly at him children."
"The last thing we want you to do is be near a stranger like that
"You see, this is what will happen to you if you don't have proper guidance and fallen behind in your studies."
Andros smile to this as he was sort of proud of his worked as Zaruba said, "Childish yet effective."
Andros nodded as he soon walk over to Logos, as the green skin pervert lifted his head up as he said, "Ow."
"Enjoying the ground their Logos?" Andros voice rang down to him as Logos saw the boots before him as he look up and said, "Andros?"
"How it's been Logos, it's been a while," Andros said as he smiled to this as Logos saw the smile as he gotten up and said, "Andros how it's been buddy!"
As he was about to hug him or something until Andros step back while held up his hand and said, "Whoa Logos! Pants first man."
"Right, sorry about this," Logos said as he reach for his pants again and pull them up with ease this time as he check his zipper and other stuff before saying, "Okay I'm Good."
"Alright, how it been Logos? Last I heard you were assigned on Jakku," Andros said as Logo said to him, "I got reassigned here and I am loving it man. Plenty of beautiful women, plenty of acting with horrors, and I'm not cleaning out sands from my shoes every time I walk out in the sands. How it's been with you Andros, as last I hear about you, you became a Jedi. I thought you hated them?"
Andros laugh as bit before walking over to Logos and slap him a bit across the back of his head as he said, "I'm working with Jedi, not became a Jedi, and also I don't hate them... I just don't agree with all of their beliefs"
Andros turn around and take a few steps away before turning back around as he said to his friend logos, "Anyways I heard what happen on the last hunt you had."
Logos was rubbing his head a bit from the slap before he froze a bit before dropping his hand and head as he said, "I know I screwed up on it."
Andros looked at Logos as his friend lifted up his head and give a thumbs up and said, "But don't worry, next time I see that bastard again. I'll cut him down for sure."
"I know… but I wasn't talking about that," Andros said as Phonon made himself known at last to Logos as he said, "He was talking about the force sensitive child."
"Phonon, you're here too?" Logos said as he is surprise to see his other friend as he turn to Andros and said, "Who else is here is you guys? Is Jinga here too?"
"No, but Churi is here, and a few Jedi we're working alongside for a mission, but they don't know what is going on right now, so tell Logos… what happen during the hunt with the child and the Jedi recruiters," Andros said to his Mirlinian friend, with Logos looked at him and said, "Oh… I was hunting a horror who seem to have a taste for Force sensitive children. I had to scout out the area for any force sensitive child and found out some members of the orders were here and their child was force sensitive and... Well-"
"You try using their child as bait didn't you?" Phonon said as he scolded his friend for using such a method as it doesn't always work if the bait ended up dying in the process which happen 40% of the time, as Logos wave his hand and said, "No-no wait, it's not what you guys think. It was not to use their kid as bait, I swear on ma's grave! I wanted to ask them if they knew if there were other force sensitive children around and try to scout the areas out and narrow it down, that it."
"If that what you were doing… then what happen that?" Andros question his friend as Logos had a piss off look on his face as he said, "That bastard knew I was after him, and try to lure me in its own trap."
(Flashback)
(Note the Flashback is in Logos point of view so take a lot of it with a grain of salt)
It was night time as Logos was chasing down the Horror as it ran through the streets. Logos being the ever cocky yet brilliant and good looking Knight he was gave chase to the foe. As he ran across the roofs he jumped over a group of gorgeous Alderaan woman who were dressed in revealing outfits that seemed to have 'I luv Logos,' printed on all of it. In fact oddly most of the people were woman as some of them had pictures of Logos like some sort of fan club while others had signs saying 'fertile and ready,' as he chased the Horror.
Logos grinned and blew a kiss to the woman who all cheered for their sexy hero as he then threw a flower down to them. The result was a cat fight with clothing being torn and mud being dropped. Logos then managed to pin down the Horror with a drop kick as the Horror ended up rolling on the ground for it. "Got you know Horror you won't be touching any of the Force Using children of the hot MILF's of this planet." Logos said as no doubt this flashback was partially how he wished things had gone for him.
The Horror looked at him like he grew a second head as just then Andros voice came from him. "Logos tell the story as it happened!" Andros yelled through the Horror as Logos was knocked out of his fantasy land.
(Pause Flashback)
"Hey I'm telling it!" Logos yelled as he glared at the Horror.
Phonon then sighed almost forgetting how much peace he got after they went their separate ways. "Go on." Phonon said as he knew how to pull the story apart to see how it really happened.
(Continue Flashback/Logos Tales of Heroics)
The Horror then roared out and managed to force Logos off him who elegantly spun and landed on his feet with his fangirls giving him a perfect 10 all round. "And I stick the landing!" He called out as Andros and Phonon both sighed in frustration knowing Logos was now just showboating stuff that didn't happen.
The two then began to fight as Logos' flashback self as it seemed Logos was hardly doing anything and the Horror was getting its ass kicked. It wasn't until Andros had enough as the Horror then punched Logos in the face which sounded like a slap to the back of his head.
(Pause Flashback)
"OW!" Logos yelped as he held his head in pain.
"Ok I don't know where your stockpile of ego is but your, gonna burn through it so get to the point and don't change it." Andros said as Phonon then spoke up.
"Otherwise you're going to have an Arrow in your ass." Phonon said spinning an arrow about in his hand.
"FINE!" Logos countered as he proceeded to tell it how it happened.
(Continue Flashback)
The scene was now Alderaan as it was which meant no fangirls of Logos and no crazy ego boosters for the Knight. Logos was fighting the Horror with hand to hand combat as he then jumped back and rolled to the ground. He roared out by pulling out a soul metal combat dagger and slashed the Horror with it. When he did so Logos performed a spin kick knocking the Horror back.
The Horror roared out but smirked as he knew there were about two or three Force Sensitive Children on the planet right now. Lucky for him ONE of them was not on the list at the moment. "Any last words ugly?" Logos asked as the Horror then smirked to his foe.
"Yes... have fun with the pin." The Horror said before spreading its wings out and flying upward. Before Logos could stop him the Horror managed to slam down its power fueled attack on the roof causing it to cave in and blast the doors and windows out. Logos yelled in shock to this as he began to hack and cough from the ordeal as he saw it. Logos looked around and saw the surprised Makai Alchemist Couple setting up a trap for the Horror as the Horror descended upon it.
The child was of course crying as the mother held him close as she quickly took out her Madou Tool to take down the Horror. "Here you whiny little shit." The Horror growled as it made its way torts the child. Just then the child almost sensing the danger caused the entire house to rumble as it cried and in turn Logos went wide eyed at what was about to happen.
"Oh no." The father gasped as he saw what was about to happen.
(Outside)
By the Force strength along the child managed to blast apart the home sending debris about and creating a dust cloud as it attracted the attention of the people in the area... particularly.
(Back with Logos)
Logos began to move the debris off him as the child began to calm down with the Horror now gone. "Well that was dynamite." Logos gasped between coughs as he got to his feet. But as Logos stood up he looked and saw the people gathering. But among them he saw Jedi clearly from the Jedi Acquisition Division or the 'Jedi Recruiters,' as they were called. "Uh-oh." Logos gasped as he realized... he fucked up again.
(End Flashback)
"So let me guess you and the couple dropped a smoke bomb, used magic, and you hightailed it." Andros said to which Logos nodded in a bit of embarrassment.
"Yeah." Logos confessed to which Phonon sighed.
"This is almost as bad as the time you ticked off that pirate... what was his name Hondo?" Phonon said as Logos remember that one incident but hey not his fault the girlfriend was coming on to him well girlfriends. It didn't help that Logos was a sucker for Twi'lek but hey not like anyone in the Galaxy wasn't its why the Hutt's favored the Twi'lek as slaves after all.
Look I know I screwed up, but I got everything under control. I'll take care of the horror and once I get a shuttle for them to leave Alderaan I can get the Jedi Acquisition off the families trail and be home in time for a fund evening," Logos said as it almost sounded like a good plan… if it was thought out better by someone else as Phonon said, "And was flirting with a big chested woman going to help with that somehow?"
"Oh… you saw what I was doing then?" Logos question knew he was in trouble again as Andros roll his eyes and smack his friend upside the head again as he said, "Ow! What was that for?"
"Forget the women, forget the Jedi recruiters, forget that you screwed up and listen to me. Now here is what we're all going to do to fix this mess you caused Logos, I'll try to get in contact with Churi, and see if she can put a pause on repairs, and see what she can do to throw the Jedi Acquisition off finding the family, while I'll take them to the ship so they can hide out there and drop them off after we make repairs, Phonon will see about picking up the parts we need, and you… will take care of the horror."
"Bu-but I got everything." Logos began to say until Andros cut him off saying, "I don't want to hear it, you will take of that horror and for good this time."
Logos wanted to retort but didn't know what to say as he stay silent with Andros soon said to him, "You were stupid enough to get yourself into this mess. And we're the only ones crazy enough to get you out of it."
Logos looked at Andros surprised by what he said as he thought he would be mad enough to end their friendship. As the old saying goes a true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down, as Logos smile and said, "Thanks man."
"Don't mention it, now let's get started," Andros said as he pulled out a Communicator.
"But seriously don't mention it." Phonon added the jab causing Logos to glare at him.
(Gold Storm)
Churi was still taking care of the repairs around the ship, with Anakin giving a hand as he knew his way around a wrench and stuff, with Obi-wan and Ahsoka were taking care of things up top with the droids.
Suddenly an call alarm is heard from Churi's person, as she stop fixing and put down her tools before wiping the sweat off her head before pulling out her Communicator and said, "Hey Andros, I wonder when you would be calling. You found the watchdog yet?"
"Yea, and good news is she is willingly to help us, but in exchange of doing a task," Andros said as Churi asked, "What is it? She want you to hunt a horror?"
"Nothing like that, but there is a horror, but that not the problem here," Andros said as Churi said, "Sound bad if it taking part over a horror hunt."
"Don't get it wrong, the horror will be taking care of, as Logos is here to do it," Andros said as Churi said, "Logos is here? I thought he was still on Jakku?"
"He was re-assign here because of the recent event of increases in Horror activity on more peaceful planets like Alderaan," Andros answer her as Churi nodded as that made sense as they would need ever available knights to help fight off horror on many different world including peaceful ones as she said, "Got it, but what is it that you are calling me for?"
"Before I answer that, quickly tell me. Is anyone nearby that can hear us?" Andros asked as Churi look over to Anakin as she saw him still working and making a lot of sound which should cover her when she talking as she said, "I'm clear, now what is it?"
"We have a situation with Jedi Acquisition division, and a child who is sensitive and quiet strong in the force, and we might need your help with them to throw them off on finding the family or the boy," Andros said as Churi smile at this and said, "Ah, need my help with that? Well it might cost you, if you can pay for it that is."
"I already given you a token, I'm not giving you my ship or my droid again, and I don't have spare credits to give you, and you know Phonon will not give you anything at all," Andros said as Churi said, "Then I refuse to help then."
"Well here the thing, I already told the watchdog what we will be doing, and I told her that you may refuse to help us," Andros said as that catches Churi attention as she listen to Andros carefully as he said, "And she said to me to tell you-
(Flashback)
"If she as so much refuses to cooperate, then I will simply re-assign her," the watchdog said as she ate another treat of her for a small pause before she said with an unset tone, "On Jakku along with Logos if he fails the hunt again."
(End flashback)
"She also said that you won't be lonely if Logos is there to keep you company," Andros said as Churi said, "Well sense she put it that way… how can I refuse? I can't help you guy from the goodness from my heart as well as she doesn't have to go that far."
"Good to hear, and good luck on your part of the task," Andros said before hanging up as the communicator clicks with Churi putting hers away before standing up and walking over to her Makai priestess robes as Anakin saw her putting back her gear on as he stop for a moment and said, "Hey where are you going?"
"Oh don't worry it's just a mission that the boys need my help with, as it seems they got themselves sort of in a pickle, but nothing so serious; but still. Keep up the repairs," Churi said as she left the ship and help out fix Logos mistake, then give him the beating of his life.
But once she was gone Obi-Wan came in having saw everything and gave her a suspicious look. "You feel it to?" Anakin asked as he saw Churi leave.
"Yes she seems to be hiding something." Obi-Wan said as Anakin wanted to investigate it but the ship needed to be repaired. "I'll take and Ahsoka and investigate." Obi-Wan said as Anakin nodded to her.
"Ok R2 and I can handle the rest here." Anakin agreed knowing at least it would keep the Snips busy for a bit. Obi-Wan nodded and in turn headed out to meet with Ahsoka to follow after Churi and see what she was hiding. She had earned his trust at least in battle but on a social setting well she had a lot to be desired considering her gambling thing. Anakin had begun getting the things ready to either; A install the new Hyperdrive or B, use the parts to patch it up and hope it would hold till they arrived at Tython. Obi-Wan took his leave knowing Churi was up to something and a part of him hoped it would be a new Hyper-Drive for their use.
(Meanwhile with the Makai Group)
Churi arrived at a hidden alley as they sat and discussed there next step now that they were all gathered. "Wow even Churi is here." Logos said as he saw that Churi was glaring at him. "Now all we need is Jinga and the old master and we have a fricking family reunion." Logos joked as Phonon sighed.
"I'm going to miss the peace and quiet." Phonon said as he almost forgotten how annoying Logos can be at times.
"Be nice Phonon." Andros said as Churi looked to them.
"Now then what's the plan?" Churi asked as she looked to the group.
"Bases of it, Logos handles the Horror while the rest of us keep our Jedi escort and the Acquisition Division busy so we can smuggle the Family off world." Andros said and thus Churi saw where this was going.
"I'll get the family." Churi spoke all of a sudden as she stretched. "We can't smuggle them with the Gold Storm but I do know a few people who owe me a favor in this sector I can call them up and cash in." Churi said as Logos smirked to her.
"Friends with benefits or Churi robs them blind?" Logos asked as he smirked to Churi.
"Need to know." Churi said as she still remembered her old contacts as well as the boy's old master. That guy was as hard as nail and took no shit in both combat and training and considering he trained with Wookie's the boys learned fast to fear the man's training methods.
"Of course." Logos said as he grinned at what sort of mischief Churi had gotten up to.
"Ok so we won't use the Gold Storm to smuggle them off." Andros began figuring Churi already made the call to her contact before arriving. "So that means we have room to work." Andros said to which they had two assignments made now that left Andros and Phonon.
"I'll take the Jedi recruiters and keep them busy." Phonon said as he can keep at a distance to stay away from their senses and keep them distracted in a few ways.
"Which means I have to keep our Jedi from learning what's going on." Andros said as Zaruba chuckled a bit.
"Do remember Andros that Ahsoka is a Jedi and Jedi are not to form attachments." Zaruba said in faux warning to his contract holder as Andros glared at the Madou Ring before shutting him up.
"Ahsoka?" Logos asked as he looked to Andros with a knowing grin on his face.
"Shut up." Andros scolded as they all had a job to do.
"Ok so we all have our objectives so let's get moving night will come soon." Churi said and thus the group was off to perform their tasks.
(Later with Obi-Wan and Ahsoka)
The two follow Churi as best they could without her noticing they were following her. It seemed she might have caught onto them as they looked a bit lost. The duo seemed to have lost the Makai priestess somewhere and didn't know where Churi was at as Ahsoka asked, "Where did she go?"
"I do not know, but I do have to give her some credit of being cleaver," Obi-wan said as he close his eyes for a moment and try to sense something or someone out as he said, "I hardly do this sort of thing but it seem to be the best option."
Obi-wan went into a slight meditation and try to sense out the area, reaching out to the force and see around him, feel and find someone. But suddenly he felt a familiar presence as he sensed out Andros.
As he open his eyes and look towards a direction as he said, "Follow me, I think they are this way."
Ahsoka look towards Obi-wan and wonder who he founded as she follow him closely.
(Andros and Churi)
The two headed to the area Logos told them of that the family was hiding out at. They had to get there quickly retrieving them and get them off world fast as that was the plan. While doing so they had to be on guard to protect them from the horror that was after their child, with Andros force and natural ability, and Zaruba horror sensing if the horror ever get close, they will know.
Andros stop for a moment as he felt something, like someone was watching them as Churi asked, "What's wrong?"
"I don't know, I thought I felt someone watching me for a sec," Andros said as not much taking any chances as he raise Zaruba up, open his face plate, and asked, "Zaruba do you sense the horror nearby?"
"Nope, the horror is nowhere near this area. Also I don't sense any Inga around us either," Zaruba said as he is positive the horror isn't near them at least with Churi looking around, trying to find if anyone was near them, but saw no one in site that could have been looking at them as she said, "Lets hurry then, if it's the force or that empathy power of yours. I'm not taking any chances."
Andros nodded as he knows the mission comes first and they can deal with the dangers along the way if it were the come to them.
Heading towards a back ally area with a few doors that lead up into a Cantina or some sort of shelter area. Churi then looked for a mark upon the door as she saw one, knowing it was a safe house. Thus she said, "We're here."
Both Andros and Churi walk up to the door as Andros stood in front of it with Churi stood off to the side looking both way as she give the 'Ok' for Andros to proceed as he knock on the door in a way as he do one knock follow up 4 fast know and two slow knocks.
The door open and standing there was a man wearing priest robes as he saw Andros before him, and Churi off to the side as he asked, "What is the 2nd rule of hunting?"
"To never touch a sentient being with your blade, as the blade itself must never be stain with the blood of another unless upon an act of mercy, as it's not a just a rule, it's law," Andros answer as the priest nodded as he said, "Are you here to help us?"
"We are. There is a transport ship that will smuggle you off world. We will escort you and your family to it and make sure you'll make it off world," Andros said as the priest nodded as he step back and call out, "Chi, Tora. We're leaving now."
As the man step outside, follow up by a woman with a little boy holding her hands as they came outside and saw Andros and Churi.
Andros saw the boy in question as he was in turn reminded of his own younger sister. His younger sister whom he had failed so long ago he didn't exactly hate the Jedi mind you but he couldn't exactly agree with them either. By now his sister was no doubt being made a Padawan by now or something more than that. As they looked to each other Churi then spoke up to get their attention.
"Ok we need to make sure nothing is left behind so we need to move now." Churi said to which everyone was in agreement on this.
Thus they got to work with Andros doing a perimeter sweep while Churi made sure they weren't short on anything. As they did this Andros used a combination of the Force and his Empath abilities to feel for anyone or anything that meant them harm. Andros knew the Jedi tend to respect the wishes of families who did not wish to give their child to the Jedi Order but there were exceptions to and it was all legal. Particularly when they feel the child is either in an unsafe environment or a situation when the child in question is exceptionally strong in the force. Andros really hoped it would not come to that as he hoped Churi had a plan to get the Jedi Acquisition squad off their back as soon as possible.
As they did this Andros kept his eyes peeled knowing they may have been getting followed by the others and knew they had to be careful. But at the same time his mind began to wonder off to what the others were doing right now.
(With Phonon)
Phonon saw the elderly Jedi were still nearby as he aimed an arrow at them using his Madou Tool specs to act as a scope. Logos would have loved to be a part of this a game he liked to call messing with the Jedi. Phonon only did it out of necessity while Logos did it for a good laugh out of there suffering. Phonon then let loose an arrow at a spot near them and in turn the result caused them to react and dodged the debris from the beams he hit. When he did this he made sure to keep out of the Jedi's range of sensory knowing full well he couldn't afford to be caught by them.
He also made sure to guide them in a way to a less populated area knowing Churi had a plan in place to erase there memories of the child and family. He had nothing against the Jedi but he knew Andros may have a problem and may unintentionally let personal feelings get in the way of their main objective. Phonon then sighed and let loose another arrow knowing the Jedi were now on guard as if they were in danger at the moment. Phonon proceeded to move to another vantage point to keep the Jedi busy and guide them to where Churi would have their memories erased of the incident with the Horror and Child.
But as he moved he knew Logos was nearby no doubt waiting for the Horror to show up or looking for it. As much as they may not like it the Horror was smart unusually so to do all of this so either it was working for someone else or when it was human it had a vendetta against the Jedi somehow. For now though he had a job to do and a limited time to get it done as is. In turn he continued his part of the plan to buy the others enough time to get them off world.
(Back with Andros group)
Andros and Churi after making sure the coast was clear were walking through the alleys of the Alderaan city to get to the ship. The Smuggler Churi chartered owed her a favor after he couldn't pay her winnings after a game. She offered instead of winnings he would owe her one favor she would cash in on at any time of her choosing. The Smuggler was reliable and had a good track record thus far so she had no problem chartering him to smuggle the family off world.
As they looked around Andros made sure to keep his eyes peeled for their unknown pursers while Andros kept his eyes peeled. Churi of course was ready for anything as Andros knew if they were caught this would put a huge damper on their joint operation with the Jedi to locate and lock away the Tombs. While they continued to explore they avoided any possible patrols via hiding or acting like everything was just the norm for them.
"Clear," Andros said as Churi nodded as she turn to the family that was hidden around the corner and join up with Andros as they soon went on their way again, as Churi and Andros walk ahead of the family as the golden knight said to his partner, "I know you know these smugglers well, but I need to ask, can they be trusted enough?"
"I trust them not to screw up a job if they wish to be paid," Churi said as Andros said to her, "That not what I am asking."
"I get it, but I know they well enough they don't backstab the people they make deals with. They won't try and kill the family, and take the boy to put him into slavery, or anything of the sort, and also they owe me anyways. I'm paying for just their fuel and any necessary things for the family as well," Churi said as she looked at her partner as she said, "If they do something, it would to help the family."
"I'm just being cautious about this," Andros said as they soon came to a turn as Andros wasn't looking around the corner as he was about to turn down it, "I don't want to make a mistake about this."
*Oof!
When Andros taken the sharp turn, he ran into a familiar orange skin Togruta Jedi as they both fell on top of each other as Andros is surprise to see Ahsoka here… and on top of him as he said, "Ahsoka?"
"He- hey Andros, fancy meeting you here," Ahsoka said as it seem she ran into him by accident as Churi said, "Oh my. I didn't think you would be that bold Ahsoka, you little naughty little Jedi you."
Both Andros and Ahsoka looked at the position they were in, they quickly gotten up as Andros clear his throat a bit with Ahsoka brush herself down a bit as she did the same thing as suddenly Obi-wan catching up reaching Ahsoka as he said, "I thought I told you to say close Ahsoka."
"You say not to be separated, and beside I thought they were getting way ahead," Ahsoka said as Obi-wan said, "I said they are ahead of us."
"What is this!" the voice of the father spoken out in an angry tone as Andros look to him as he just realize what just happen as he said, "Wait, it not what you think."
"You lie to us. You lead us to the Jedi Acquisition!" the father said as he suddenly pulled out a brush and pointed at them, as Ahsoka and Obi-wan being surprise by this as Andros gotten in front of him and said, "Put it down! I told you it's not what you think!"
"Dear, stop it please!" The wife said as Ahsoka had her heads up as she didn't want to cause a misunderstanding with Obi-wan keeping his hands steady, ready for anything, just in case a fight breaks out with the man as Ahsoka said, "Wait we don't mean you any harm!"
"Lies! You Jedi search for my family just to take away my son when you said it was a choice we can make when you just disregard it like trash! I will not allow you to take away my boy!" the man yells as the tip of his brush glow ready to fight as Ahsoka is surprise by this man words as she would never do such a thing with Obi-wan look towards the mother and child and sense the force within them, and could guess what is happening as Obi-wan step forth and said, "Wait, I assure you, we're not here to take your son. This is a misunderstanding, as we're not a part of the Acquisition Division."
"And why should I believe you?" The man said as Obi-wan said to him, "I am Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi, and I am on a mission to help with the location of the hidden tombs that your Order are trying to prevent them from opening to avoid a Galaxy wide disaster, I'm an ally."
The husband didn't lower the madou brush after that as he keep it pointed at the two as his wife look at her husband and said, "My love. Please lower it, they speak the truth. That girl is too young to be such, and the male spoken only the truth. Please lower your hand… for your son sake."
The father look over to his son, who huddle by his mother with the look of fear in his eyes as he was scared of what is happening, scared of what his father could do.
The man took a moment as he look back at the two Jedi, and still a bit hesitate to lower the brush, but the green glow soon vanish and he slowly drop his arm but keep hold of his madou brush, and calm down as with that Andros signal Ahsoka to put down her arms by waving down with his hands as she got the message and did so, as Churi said, "We're sorry to surprise you and your family by this. But they weren't supposed to follow us."
"Which does bring up a question. Why were you following after us?" Andros aid as he look towards the two as Ahsoka said to them, "We were sort of worry something may have happen and thought you guy needed some backup for it."
"If something did happen that required your guys help with, we would have call you about it. But it's not that kind of situation," Andros said as Obi-wan asked him, "Then what is the situation?"
As Andros wanted to say it but he didn't want to involve them into a horror hunt as Churi taking the chance as she said, "The family was attack by a horror that was after force sensitive children and was repel back by the son, who also caught the attention of some Acquisition Division Jedi, and fear they would take their son away regardless what their answer was if they asked if they would give their son up to them to become a Jedi. They also feared they would just use their authority to take him anyways due to how powerful the kid was with the Force. Now we're going to get them off planet so the horror can't follow them and the Jedi recruiters won't find them. Understand?"
Ahsoka is surprise by this as she knew that Jedi Acquisition would search out for force sensitive children and recruit them into the Jedi Order. But she didn't know they also could force the family to give up their children to the Jedi order.
"But that can't be right." Ahsoka said as she looked to Andros. "The Acquisition Division always asked for consent before doing something like that." Ahsoka said as Andros sighed to this.
"In most cases they do but you need to factor in that right now the Clone Wars are raging and the Jedi are at the front lines more often than not dying in the line of duty." Andros explained as he looked to Ahsoka. "Now factor all this in as well as the fact the child is unusually strong with the Force." Andros listed off to which Churi answered.
"Then we have a problem." Churi finished as she looked to them. Obi-Wan paid attention to this as he listened in. "The Horror was smart targeting Force Sensitives as it did will cut down recruitment as well as those born into the Makai." Churi explained as she looked to the group.
"Yet I sense there's more a personal feeling perhaps." Obi-Wan said as Andros heard this and then went silent from it.
"I don't want to talk about it." Andros said as he looked to Obi-Wan. "The point is if we give the child to the Jedi then in all likely hood the Makai may end up at risk of being exposed to the Galaxy when they start asking questions and investigating." Andros said as he looked to them. "It's rare but there are those who managed to retain their memories of the Makai Order who with a vendetta of sorts tried to expose us and nearly succeeded." Andros explained to which Obi-Wan understood as did Ahsoka.
"I hope you realized by telling us what you're doing." Obi-Wan began as he looked to the group. "That we as Jedi are obligated to stop you and inform the Acquisition division." Obi-Wan said as this in turn caused the group to get on edge to this. "That is if we were here to begin with." Obi-Wan added and thus the group got the memo as did Ahsoka. It all translated to four simple words, 'we didn't see anything,' and thus they had an edge here.
"How can we help?" Ahsoka asked a she looked to Andros.
"For starters we need to make sure our ship is ready for when the parts arrive." Andros began to which Obi-Wan nodded.
"I can aid with that." Obi-Wan said as he looked to Andros who nodded to this.
"Next we'll need to make sure the child doesn't broadcast himself through the force." Andros went on and thus Ahsoka saw this.
"I can handle that, not the first time I dealt with Force Sensitive Younglings." Ahsoka said and thus they had a plan forming.
"Ok then Phonon will guide the Acquisition Squad to the location I can erase their memories and replace them." Churi said as she looked to the group here.
"Well having a Jedi help us will suffice I suppose." The father said as he was more concerned with his family right now.
"Ok then we have a plan let's move out!" Andros said and thus they got moving to their destination.
(Later with Logos)
Logos was tracking down the Horror as he knew it had to be around here somewhere as he saw the sun begin to set. Now from what he gathered and the tracks he got to the Horror was making its way to another location. Clearly it knew the child was not at the now empty home anymore and thus was probably looking for him. Now factoring this in Logos used what little brain power he had to use... logic. But the only thing that came to mind was Smuggler and... Space Port...
It was then Logos realized where the Horror was going and cringed as he realized the problem that was coming up. "Oh crap not again." Logos said as he in turn ran across roof tops to make his way to the Space Port before the Horror got there. If he was right then this will be his only chance to take out the Horror and not be put back on Jakku or worse Hoth or Tatooine.
(Back with the group)
The group was currently gathered up in an alley where they would part ways as Andros looked beyond the wall for the Horror in question. "Well my young friend have something to get off your chest." Obi-Wan offered as Ahsoka kept the group calm while Churi did an aerial scouting range.
"Not at all." Andros defended as he glared a bit.
"Are you sure this task seems to have some sort of personal link to you." Obi-Wan said knowing as a Jedi he had to be detached from worldly things such as attachments. But Andros wasn't a Jedi so he probably had attachments to a great deal of things.
"You're not going to stop till I answer will you?" Andros asked to which Obi-Wan simply shrugged.
"It involves his sister." Zaruba spoke up catching them off guard. "Andros was quiet young when the incident happened." Zaruba said and thus Andros then slammed the plate down over Zaruba's face.
When Andros did so he sighed and knew Zaruba had the worst timing. "Fine it happened years ago, I was beginning training to become a Makai Knight under my father while my Sister was showing signs of her force sensitivity." Andros explained trying to summarize as best he could. "We never saw it coming a Horror was targeting us specifically my father told me to stay put and watch my sister but I didn't listen." Andros spoke as he looked to the Jedi Master.
"Next thing I know the Horror finds us and pulls off a powerful attack, my father managed to cut it down but it cost him his life." Andros spoke remembering seeing his father's corpse after he woke up from the explosion. "My mother was still knocked out and I was powerless when I saw my infant sister taken by the Jedi assuming she was orphaned." Andros said as Obi-Wan was surprised to hear this. "After words my mother fell ill maybe sadness or grief and eventually she succumbed to it." Andros spoke as Obi-Wan heard this.
"Remember when I broke into the Jedi Temple?" Andros asked as Obi-Wan nodded to this. "It wasn't my first time I did it one before a couple years after my father and mother passed and it was how I met Churi." Andros said as Obi-Wan was surprised by this. "My objective was to find and take my sister back but I didn't think it through, so imagine my surprise when I found her with other younglings." Andros said as he looked to the side a bit. "I had all these thoughts of how it would play out, maybe even having to fight my way out but seeing her as she was becoming strong in the Force on her way to becoming a protector in her own right... I couldn't bring myself to rip her away from all she knew." Andros said as he regretted it still but it was the right decision in the end.
"I see..." Obi-Wan began as he looked sad a bit. "You have my condolences." Obi-Wan said as Andros nodded.
"She was named Korona but the Jedi gave her the name Shara Starchaser." Andros said as he looked to Obi-Wan as he then remembered the Youngling with that name. The girl who always looked to the sunset and the stars making her name appropriate. IF what he remembered is correct she was still a Padawan without a Jedi Master to learn from.
"Come on we need to move." Churi said as she cut in and thus they were reminded of the current situation. Thus the group was once more on the move to get the child to safety.
(Scene Break Later)
After Obi-Wan had left to regroup with Anakin and probably let him know what's going on, the group comprised of Andros, Ahsoka, Churi, and the family were at the Space Port waiting for Churi's contact to arrive. They looked natural as day turned into night meaning this was their opportune moment to get the family and child off Aldaraan. "There's the ship." Churi said as she saw the junk pile ship nearby.
"A Corallian Freighter smart." Andros said as he looked to the ship.
"Trust me this guy is legit and he wouldn't cross me seeing as I'm the only girl in the Galaxy who won't send Bounty Hunters to collect for me." Churi said to which Andros looked concerned as did Ahsoka. The two then looked to her as she smiled as if nothing was wrong.
"You scare me sometimes." Andros said to which Churi smirked.
"It's a gift." Churi said with a huge sinister smirk on her face.
"That wasn't a compliment." Ahsoka said as Churi only grinned even wider to this. The group in turn began to move in to the ship so they can smuggle the passengers off world. They soon saw a Weequay make there as he looked to the group.
"Churi." He greeted the Pantoran.
"Hey glad to finally learn I'm cashing in that favor from you?" Churi asked as this guy lost a game to her and didn't have the Credit to pay the debt. Thus she changed it that the Smuggler would carry out favors for her that would amount to the Credits he owed her.
"These ones the cargo?" He asked to the family in question.
"Yeap treat them real nice, transport them to any planet they choose. You do that and we can consider ourselves square." Churi said as he hated the Criminal underworld where owing favors was of importance.
"Fine." He growled no doubt still quiet angry he lost to her and owed her money. At least with this he can finally pay it off.
"Um you may want to start loading up in the ship now." Andros said as he felt it as did Ahsoka. The Makai group looked and saw a shadowed figure in the darkness with demonic glowing red eyes.
"Buddy this is your que to run." Churi said and thus the pilot nodded and the passengers ran into the ship.
"NO!" The Horror roared in fury and charged into the fray.
But alas it seems help arrived as from the attacking Horrors blind side Logos came in with a flying kick knocking the Horror to the side. The loading ramp closed and thus the ships engines ignited opting the trio to move out of the way as it flew off. The Horror tried to stop it but Churi used her whip to hold the Horror down while Andros used his abilities with the Force to keep it from escaping.
"NO! NO! NO!" The Horror roared in fury but alas once the ship was airborne it quickly made for the upper atmosphere and thus off world.
"Oh too bad you lost your meal." Logos taunted as he smirked at his prey.
"You cost me more than a meal!" The Horror roared out as Logos scoffed to him. "Well to bad... wanna pout about it?" Logos taunted even further as the Horror was clearly enraged right now. In turn the Horror charged at Logos who then took out a Soul Metal combat dagger and held it in a reverse grip. From there he began to attack the Horror who was now attacking wildly in an attempt to get a good hit in on Logos. Logos easily avoided the attacks before he slashed at the Horrors face causing it great pain. From there he did a spin kick and managed to kick him over to where Ahsoka, Andros, and Churi were.
As the Horror got up he caught a whiff of something as he looked up and saw Ahsoka was the source. "I can smell something... off about you." He admitted a she looked to Ahsoka. Ahsoka was of course confused as she looked to the Horror who began to salivate. "Oh yes you smell just like this seasoned with our blood but better and from the looks of it you haven't even came into contact with our blood." The Horror said making Ahsoka go wide eyed at this.
"The King will no doubt reward me for feasting upon you!" The Horror roared out only for Andros to force Push the Horror back causing it to fly torts Logos. Logos managed to grab the Horror by the neck in a choke hold before tossing him over to the side. The Horror rolled on the ground for a bit before it landed on its feet.
"King?" Andros asked as he was confused by this.
"Yeah well tell his Royal Highness he can go screw himself." Logos said as he flipped his grip on the dagger and moved it to his back. The Horror then roared out and once more went on the attack only to be slashed away by Logos. Logos dagger had become a singled edged sword that much like the dagger was of soul metal and had a red sash at the pommel. "In fact I'll send him over to you so you can tell him." Logos said as he got ready for the next bit.
The Horror in turn roared in fury before his body exploded and in turn revealed a Horror comprised of some sort of demonic hives and skulls. The Horror then went on the attack only for Logos to once more slash and kick the Horror away. "Well then guess it's time to suit up." Logos said as he then got ready for the next bit. He then proceeded to slam his sword down as the Horror sent its swarm at Logos. The sword made a loud clang when it hit the ground but Logos wasn't done just yet. The Swarm began to surround him as Logos then grinded the sword across the ground creating the portal to summon his armor.
From there the armor shot forth from the ground below Logos feet and encased him in a crimson red armor. The Swarm attacked too late and thus they were burned to ash by this Knights fire. This Knight who wields a Scimitar weapon was the Flame Sword Knight Zen as his crest in kanji appeared from the ashes of the Horror's swarm attack.
"Bring it on." Zen said ready to cut away the darkness of this Horrors evil existence in this galaxy.
The two soon came at each other as claws meet sword, as Zen held well against the horror this time sense there nowhere for it to go without being drag back in place, as the horror try to leap away, Andros quickly grab it with the force, and… force it down to the ground as it crash hard making spider-web cracks as Zen was surprise by this as he look over to his friend as Andros yell out to him, "Finish it, it's your mission after all!"
Zen nodded as he give a grin under his helmet but you can hear it well when he went, 'Hn!' and went at the horror once again as it stood up, Zen was upon him as he block its attack before hitting him back a bit before stabbing its hand into the ground as it cry out, even more so when Zen double kick the horror in the face hard enough, the sword didn't move but his hand did while being rip if two while some blood spill out on the ground.
Ahsoka is surprise by Zen action as compare to Garo style of fighting, Zen seem to fight a bit wilder and crazy to say here as she asked, "Why does he fight like that?"
"Well like the Jedi to say, every Makai knight has a certain style of fighting," Andros said as he watch the fight keep going, "Logos fighting style does seem a bit on the unorthodox, but it works for him to help him fight against horror as in the words of my old mentor, sometimes you may have to be like a beast to fight against a darker beast."
Zen keep fighting the horror as it suddenly sprouted wings and try to fly away, but Zen jump on his back before it could get away and force him to stay in place preventing the Horror from flying in this fight as he crash down with Zen soon flip off its back and onto his feet with easy as he give a laugh as Andros said, "Logos kind of took that saying more to heart than any of us, but it suits him well."
"And being him a party beast himself, he mostly thinking with his little friend than his own head at time too," Churi said as she knew what Logos does at time when he not focusing on missions, as its party, and picking up and sleeping with beautiful women of many different race and in-between.
The horror was try to get away with Zen suddenly pull out his lighter and lit it showing a red flame to it as he place it near his chest, the skull face plate on it seem to suck in the flames before Zen put away his lighter while summon forth his red madou flames through his arms and shot two fireballs forth, as the balls of madou flames seem to move around following the horror around no matter where it went before hitting it dead on, burning away its wings with nothing left but the bones as it scream out in more pain as both Obi-wan and Ahsoka is surprise to see that.
"Did he just use the force to control the flames?" Ahsoka asked as she never seen anyone do that with fire before.
"No, it's the ability of his armor, as other armors may have similar ability like that, but cannot be done in the same way and not to that degree as well, and also he not force sensitive," Andros said as Churi said adding in her two cents, "But he is a sex sensitive."
Zen walk up to the horror as it try to recover from its wings being burn away, as Zen summon forth the remaining of his Madou flames into his sword as he charge at the horror as it was getting up, and before it could turn around Zen cut it down with two flame slashes up and down its body, destroying it in flames as it came out one last death cry.
"Don't think you won." The Horror growled as he glared at Zen and the others. "Soon my King will be summoned and he will avenge me just you wait." The Horror growled as it glared at the group. "Be weary of the Fang of God for he is coming." The Horror roared out against his foes before turning to dust.
"Yeah that's great." Zen taunted as he then retracted his armor and reverted to Logos. No doubt he thought the Horror was just making empty promises seeing as there was no Horror out there who was considered a 'King,' save for one. But that Horror was defeated long ago by you guessed it a Golden Knight at the time. Even if then there wasn't any known Horror called the 'Fang of God,' from the Historical Text. Then again Logos didn't like reading hence why he always scored the lowest in written exams yet scored high in practical exams.
Meanwhile Andros gave the scene a skeptical look knowing full well that Horrors don't make threats like that unless they believe it can be backed up or trying to give his foes the preverbal finger to them. Andros opted to ignore its mad rambling but also made a side note to look into at a later date. But he felt something ominous about that threat none the less almost as if an outside force was warning him not to take such a threat lightly. For now he will let it be but also keep his guard up none the less.
(Scene Break the following day)
The Gold Storm now fully repaired was taking off as the thrusters ignited and flew off. From there the Ship was already making great time as the new Hyperdrive was now installed. Inside the ship Andros was in the pilot seat making sure everything was running smoothly. "Ok assuming we don't bump into any more unsavory sorts while in space we should reach Tython in no time." Andros said as he looked to the group.
"Finally." Phonon said as he sat nearby as well.
"Now how about we acknowledge the Rancor in the room." Anakin said knowing this little escapade they had while he was doing repairs.
"Look I get it we shouldn't have gone behind your backs like that." Andros admitted as he looked to the group.
"Actually I was going to say you should have told us sooner the child was of the Makai Order. If anything since you guys have fully trained Force Users you basically had all you needed to train him when he's ready." Anakin said as he looked to the group surprising them. "Can't say I approve but in the end I think it was for the best." Anakin admitted as he looked to them.
"Well then good because I already replaced the Acquisition Divisions memories as far as they know there was only the one child they found." Churi added to which they all chuckled to this. In turn they all heard Ahsoka scream from the ship followed by a slapping sound and thus they all went to investigate.
When they arrived they saw Logos on the ground after Ahsoka had slapped him with a spiteful glare at him. "Perverted creep!" Ahsoka yelled as she glared at Logos.
"What happened?" Anakin asked as he never seen Ahsoka this angry before.
"Logos happened." Andros said as he looked to his friend.
"What I can't help if there's a beautiful Jedi in the room." Logos confessed as he was reassigned to their group. Reasons being was he was in trouble on Alderaan after this fiasco and also it was to keep him out of trouble.
"He suggested we bunk together and went as far as saying I shouldn't worry about being a prude. I didn't even need the Force to know all he wanted was a show." Ahsoka argued and thus Andros sighed.
"Ahsoka... use the Force to calm yourself because if there is anyone I know who can get even a Jedi ticked off it would be this guy." Andros said as he looked to Logos who looked oddly proud of himself too.
"You surround yourselves with the oddest of company." Obi-Wan confessed as he saw this scene play out before him.
"Trust me that is an understatement." Phonon said as he glared down at Logos knowing he started this mess for them.
"Anyway lets focus we have places to be after all." Andros said and thus they were all in agreement. With that the pilots which now comprised of Andros and Logos returned to the cockpit and flew the ship. The two gave each other a small fist bump and thus they were off to the mythical ancient home world of the Jedi Order. After all they were on a journey to save the Galaxy after all.
(Scene Break Tython Night)
Jedi Knight Barriss Offee was seen running through the city as she was being chased and attack by an unknown foe. At first she had thought it was a Dark Side User but was wrong in that regard. This monster had been hunting her without rest as she tried to fight it off or escape knowing she was unable to defeat it. She had to get reinforcements somehow as the creature chased her. Just then she found herself cornered as the Horror began to stalk torts her with a sadistic chuckle to it. Barriss had her Lightsaber ignited ready to fight to the bitter end... at least until something happened.
Almost out of nowhere and just in the nick of time a third part arrived in a blur of crimson red. The Creature was caught by this blur as soon Barriss heard the sound of a brief battle going on. She then looked to the night sky and saw the blur was airborne and sliced the creature in two turning it to dust. The Blur then reappeared atop a building with the moon glistening off its armor. It turn looked down torts Barriss revealing it to be a Makai Knight as it looked to Barriss. Barriss could not help but be drawn into the vision of her savior as he looked back to her.
This was no random Makai Knight for this was the Shining Shadow Knight... Roze. Roze then turned his attention away and vanished into the night as if nothing had happened. As if for Roze this was just another day on the job for him not caring for glory or fame only his duty as one who protects. That was the fate of those who don the fanged Armor. As men of the armor chasing down the Horror scourge relentlessly through history as Makai Knights.
