Garo Conquest of Makai
ESKK: Well a new chapter is about to begin let's begin.
(Start)
The Gold Storm was seen flying through the space just outside Typhon's atmosphere. The group could see it just as they exited Hyperspace while Anakin was impressed. "Ladies and gentlemen feast your eyes on Tython." Andros said as he introduced the planet that was the ancient home world of the Jedi Order their roots as it were.
"According to some scholars." Obi-Wan added in but Logos sighed.
"Don't ruin it." Logos scolded as he saw the planet.
"This plane has its own dangers due to the many conflicts between the light and the dark but after some time the planet and its connection to the force had stabilize it enough for colonization." Phonon explained as he looked to the group. "From what I read there is a working colony and town with a space port on that planet though the Space Port is small and the colonist had to do careful jumps to find a stable enough Hyperspace lane to traverse." Phonon explained to which Logos glared at him.
"Boo don't be a bore." Logos called out to which Andros rolled his eyes.
"Anyway we're supposed to be meeting Jing on this planet from what the Watchdog reported he has the key to get into the tombs." Andros said as the crew was in agreement on this.
"Then we best get a move on." Anakin said and thus they were off.
(Scene Break Typhon First Space Port)
The ship came in for a landing as it was given permission to land in one of the ports. Once Gold Storm had landed the crew departed with droids and all. "So any idea where we are supposed to meet this Jinga fellow?" Obi-Wan asked as he looked to Andros who had his eyes closed sensing about with the force.
"Found him." Andros said suddenly and thus the group looked surprised to hear this.
"Already?" Ahsoka asked to which Andros chuckled.
"Jinga is Force Sensitive so I sensed him through the Force" Andros said which made sense to the group. "I'll lead the way come on." Andros said and thus they were off looking for Jinga.
But before they could go far Ahsoka stopped and hissed in pain as her hand went to hear head to sooth the pain. She could hear voices of sorts echoing across as she felt it was from the Force somehow. "Ahsoka you ok?" Anakin asked as he saw Ahsoka was in some sort of pain.
"I... I don't know I just got this splitting headache and now I'm hearing voices." Ahsoka said as Andros heard this.
"What are they saying?" Andros asked as he looked to Ahsoka.
"They say... go to the Old Jedi Temple." Ahsoka said as Andros heard this.
"We need to find Jinga fast." Andros said as he had a hunch was all as to what was going on.
(Scene Break Canteena)
The group walked into a Canteena called Haven Canteena as they noticed the soft music of it in the background. No doubt it wasn't the shadiest sort of place but it was one of those rare quiet ones from the looks of things. As they walked in the group tried to locate Jinga who would no doubt have the information they needed. They in turn walked up and saw a girl in black washing a cup with a mug. Andros and the others instantly recognized her as from the Makai Order and thus walked up to the young barista.
"Hey what you guys be having?" She asked as she looked to them.
"We're looking for Jinga… is he in?" Andros asked to which the girl smirked to them.
"Depends you bounty hunters?" She asked to which Churi smirked.
"He wishes." Churi retorted with a smirk on her face. "We're here about the Tomb Raiding Job." Churi said and thus the girl smirked.
"I'm guessing those three are our Jedi allies here then?" The girl whispered and thus Phonon nodded. "Ok then come this way." She gestured while leading them to a set of stairs that lead to the basement of the Canteena.
(Later in the Basement)
In the basement of the Canteena, a young man was shirtless and training hard in a dojo of sort with many training equipment, and a mat in the middle of it, with the only source of light were from few lit candles and light coming out from holes in the walls.
Jinga himself was training with a wooden post with many wooden poles sticking out of it as Jinga strike and hit the post and the poles many times with kicks and punches, fast and hard strikes.
While this is happening, the girl that was working above the basemen of the canteena lead the group down below as everyone could barely see as it was and only heard the striking sound on the wooden post as the girl called out, "Hey Jinga, you have some guest here. They are here for the tomb raiding."
Jinga suddenly stops in his movement before he lower his arms down slowly, as the girl look to the group as she said to them, "I'll leave you guys alone for now. See you later."
She soon went back to the steps that lead into the basement as everyone look into the darkroom as they could barely see around them, even with the candle light and light from the holes in the wall, they could barely see Jinga but could not make out any major details of him as he turn around and walk towards the group.
Obi-wan and Anakin were on the alert as they had a strange feeling coming from Jinga, with Ahsoka felt it as well, she didn't know what to make of it as for some reason it felt familiar to her, but could not place it of where she felt it at.
Andros step forward as he said to Jinga, "Hey Jinga, it's been a while."
"It has… a bit too long," Jinga said in a calming tone yet eerie tone, as not before long Jinga suddenly throw fast jabs, strikes and kicks towards Andros as he dodge some of them before grabbing for the last one before shoving Jinga back and proceed with his own strikes and kicks.
They traded blows for blows, as some of their strike were hitting against each other as it seem they were standing pretty equal to each other in the terms of melee combat.
The three Jedi were about to go in and stop them from fighting until the Makai group stop them before they could get even close as Phonon said, "Don't you would just interrupt them, its fine."
"They are fighting, how is that fine?" Ahsoka said as she didn't expected that to happen once they found Jinga, as she thought he was supposed to be Andros friend of sort.
"Oh trust us, as they aren't really that serious just yet," Churi said as it seem she seen this many times already, with Logos said, "They do this every time before."
"I don't exactly agreed to such a thing," Obi-wan said as he didn't expecting someone to fight against their own allies as Anakin said, "If this is how they fight when they are not serious, I hate to see when they are."
Andros and Jinga fight against each other a bit longer as they keep blocking each other strikes with one of their own as Andros was being push back a bit before he put his foot behind him and then took a leap forwards, surprising Jinga for a moment there as Andros gotten a few light strike in before Jinga did the same, and before long, they soon ended the fight as they punch each other fist and stood there.
After a moment of silent, no one said a word, as Jinga smile to this in the shadow and said, "You're getting a bit sloppy there, but still strong as ever Andros."
"Well what to expect when watchdogs put you on research duty?" Andros said before they both relax as they lower their fist, as Jinga reach out his hand somewhere as suddenly a click was herd somewhere and the room was suddenly lit with light reviling Jinga.
The Jedi looked to Jinga in shock with how he casually used the Force to turn the lights on to which he gave them all a look. "What?" Jinga asked as the trio then collected themselves.
"Nothing." Anakin spoke as they got to the small sitting area to talk.
"Now then let's get down to business." Jinga said as he looked to the group before him. "We've managed to narrow down the tombs location and already have a Crew excavating the entrance." Jinga began giving them all the rundown of what's going on.
"That's good progress." Obi-Wan spoke but Jinga sighed.
"Oh no that the sigh for when something didn't go as planned." Churi said as she looked to Jinga.
"As Churi elegantly put it... the excavation is having a bit of trouble due to a Horror that's showed up in the area consistently getting in the way." Jinga said as this was a problem.
"Then why haven't you dealt with it yet?" Anakin asked as Jinga looked to him.
"It's a combination of crafty and strong. When things start to go south for it, it has a tendency to run off and hide till daybreak in order to lick its wounds." Jinga spoke as this Horror was becoming a nuisance to them all.
"Then what is being done to handle it?" Obi-Wan asked as Ahsoka heard this.
"From what we gather it has a taste for Force Users particularly those with training such as Jedi or Sith." Jinga spoke as he looked to them. "The Order had been working on a Madou Tool to trap it so to prevent it from escaping all I need is some form of bait to draw it out." Jinga said as he was no doubt volunteering himself. "But that's not the end of it." Jinga said before looking to Ahsoka. "We have reason to believe young Ahsoka Tano here may be in danger from the Horrors." Jinga spoke surprising the Jedi especially Ahsoka.
"Wait me?!" Ahsoka gasped in shock to hear the Horrors were more than likely targeting her.
"What? Why would the Horrors target her?" Anakin asked as he looked to Jinga.
"I think I may know." Andros spoke up as the group looked to him on this. "Back on Alderaan the Horror seemed to be attracted to Ahsoka like how a Horror is attracted to a being tainted by their blood." Andros explained as he looked to Jinga.
"The Watchdog had similar thoughts hence why my Watchdog had been in contact with yours and both agree for the time being Lady Tano here will need a bodyguard for dealing with Horrors." Jinga spoke as he looked to group here.
"Oh in that case." Logos began with a grin only for Jinga to cut him off.
"Preferably that's not Logos or Churi." Jinga said knowing how those two acted at times.
"Dammit." Logos cursed while Churi shrugged with a chuckle. Ahsoka of course let out a sigh of relief to this to which the choices were down to Andros, Jinga, and Phonon.
"I'll do it." Andros spoke as he raised his hand.
"That would be for the best." Obi-Wan said knowing Ahsoka knew Andros the longest.
"Um don't I get a say in this?" Ahsoka asked to which all eyes fell to her.
"Depends if you know how to fight a Horror using out methods, or have some way to defend yourself from them." Jinga spoke and thus Ahsoka fell silent to that one. "I thought not." Jinga added and thus the group came into agreement as Jinga pulled out a pass. "Here the Makai Order has safe houses for such occasions like this." Jinga said as he passed it over to the group. "While I deal with the Horror I suggest you get her to the safe house." Jinga said to which Anakin spoke up.
"Well until then Obi-Wan and I will report this to the Council to keep them updated." Anakin said to Obi-Wan nodded with a response of his own.
"Agreed the Council needs to be kept updates on events such as this." Obi-Wan said with a nod to which Churi then spoke up.
"I'll scope the Archives at the Watchdog sight they may hold information on the Tomb that would be useful to us." Churi said as Logos and Phonon were left.
"I'll scope out the area and keep this moron out of trouble." Phonon said as he looked to Logos who pouted to this.
But before Logos could start arguing about it Jinga cut him off. "Good." Jinga said and thus stood up knowing that they had arrived. "If you will excuse me... I have a Horror to deal with." Jinga spoke only for Ahsoka to speak up.
"Wait your order said you have the key to get us in and through the temple." Ahsoka said as she looked to Jinga.
"Of course." Jinga said before pulled up his sleeve and revealing on his right arm a gauntlet with claws at the fingertips. "This gauntlet is an ancient Madou Tool designed with the Tomb in mind once we're in it will help us traverse this while you act as the guide." Jinga said and thus they were in agreement.
"Very well then we all have our jobs I suggest we meet at this safe house once we've finished things." Obi-Wan said as they all stood up after their agreement.
(Scene Break)
"I can't believe I have to run and hide like this." Ahsoka scowled as she and Andros, with BD on the Makai Knights back, were walking through the streets of Tython view settlements as they headed to the speeder to take them to the safe house. Ahsoka was normally the first to jump into a fight but right now she was being made to hide because she was too valuable at the moment to loose.
"Sometimes we have to swallow our pride and do what is asked of us." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka causing her to smirk.
"Are you sure you're not a Jedi Goldie because that sounded like something Obi-Wan or Master Anakin would say." Ahsoka said to which Andros chuckled.
"No offense but if I was I'd leave rat tail doesn't cut it for me." Andros joked to which Ahsoka laughed a bit catching on to it.
"So how is this safe house if I may ask?" Ahsoka asked to which Andros shrugged.
"It normally out of the way so one can train, study, and sleep in peace without worry." Andros said to which Ahsoka heard this. "Example with how out of the way it is, you can literally go out nude and no one would see you for miles." Andros joked only to have Ahsoka slap his arm at is joke and example combo.
"You'd like that wouldn't you." Ahsoka countered to which Andros smirked.
"What am I Logos?" Andros asked while joking as he looked to Ahsoka while walking to the transport to the safe house. The Joke caused a laugh to be shared between them as Logos was in fact the biggest pervert in the group hence why Phonon was basically babysitting him. Unknown to them this first of many battles would be change their fates for the long run as well as the fate of the Golden Knights legacy.
(Meanwhile with Anakin and Obi-Wan)
Anakin and Obi-Wan were back at the Gold Storm reporting their progress to the Jedi. "Safely arrived you have I see." Yoda said as he looked to the two Jedi.
"Yes Master Yoda though not without a few bumps in the road." Obi-Wan said as he looked to Anakin.
"Yeah just for future references we may want to have the fleets keep their eyes peeled for things hitting our cruisers... sometimes it's not debris." Anakin said and thus Yoda got the memo as did Mace Windu.
"How goes the progress thus far?" Mace asked as he looked to the two Jedi.
"Well Master Windu we have reason to believe the Horrors know Ahsoka has something that would lead us to the tomb and will no doubt be targeting her for it. Our friends in the shadows had offered her a bodyguard from the Horrors until this crisis has been dealt with." Obi-Wan said to which Windu got that much.
"They also gave us someone who has the key to get us into these tombs and through the obstacles inside them." Anakin added in which meant they may have a way to stop these Tombs from awakening.
"Good allies much needed they are. The Shroud of the Dark Side hides many things a disturbance I feel approaching." Yoda said as he felt it something was coming though when, how, or who was still up for debate. "Seal the Tomb in Tython you must defend Padawan Tano you shall." Yoda said to which they were all in agreement on this.
"Plan on it." Anakin said to which they were all in agreement on.
"Is there anything else you wish to report?" Mace asked to which Obi-Wan turned his head.
"Nothing masters." Obi-Wan responded and thus Yoda followed up.
"Very well allies on Tython there are. Jedi Knights Luminara and Barriss Offee are stationed there for the Tomb. Needed should it be provide you aid they shall." Yoda informed them to which the duo nodded. The more help they had the better it was for them.
"Very well." Obi-Wan began a he had something on his mind. Particularly involving Andros' story of his missing sister as he knew who the girl in question was. Comparing her combat style with a Saber to Andros it was almost like she was instinctively drawing information from her bloodline to utilize it. He remembered Makai Knights who hail from a Bloodline of Knights can call upon the knowledge of their predecessor with a proper medium for it. "Actually Master Yoda I do have a request for a meeting once we return." Obi-Wan said as Yoda heard this as did Mace Windu.
"What for?" Mace asked curious as to what.
"Let's just say it's a Jedi's duty to pass on knowledge to the next generation." Obi-Wan said with a smirk as Anakin heard this making him realized Obi-Wan was considering a new Padawan learner.
(Meanwhile with Churi)
Churi was at the Watchdog Sight doing research on the Tombs. So far the information on the Tython Tomb was large as she found a basic map for it. Needless to say though she was also caught off guard when she noticed something odd about it in one of the journals. As she opened it up she saw that the three Tombs had different designs inside and out. The one on Tython looked like a corrupted Jedi Temple of sorts, the one on Korriban was clearly in its pyramid shape made to look like that of a Sith Temple, and the one on Illum was modeled after a fortress of sorts if not that then a keep.
"What?" Churi asked as she began to manipulate the papers a bit as if looking at something. Judging from the components on the tombs it would suggest that they were made and built together while at the same time suggesting they were never made apart. From further research she noticed that the tombs seemed to be able to convert somehow into something... else. Then she found a verse that may shed some light on what she found. "Three made as one, one became three. Heroes sacrifice their light for enlightenment but shadow remains as monster keeping the three in one at bay." Churi read as she continued on with the story. "Defeat the three remnants shall make way to unite the three into one back into the one. The Warrior of the darkened arm of fangs will sit upon the throne as King." Churi read as it sounded like the ramblings of a Fate Seer.
"Darkened arm of fangs." Churi repeated as she read through it. She then looked at the information on the Korriban tomb and thus noted a part of it was different. "Could the tombs be hiding something worse?" Churi asked as she looked to the information. It wasn't long until she felt a new presence and thus she looked to see a Messenger from the Watchdog. The Messenger then held up a holo message and thus Churi took it. She then proceeded to jack her Madou Lighter in to it revealing the message inside.
"Aid the Shining Shadow Knight enter the Tomb with the compass and return it to dormancy." Churi read to herself before sighing bit to this new job. "Well no rest for the wicked I suppose." Churi said and thus she got up and made her way to go meet up with Jinga.
(Meanwhile over with Jinga)
Jinga was seen walking away with a case after meeting with the Makai Alchemist it belonged to. It was a specialty Madou Tool custom made for this sort of Horror in mind. The Hunt could take several nights simply because the Horror is far too random in its hunting methods. It tends to slip into a pocket reality to allow itself to escape if things go south and this Madou Tool would trap it in their reality so it may be cut down. But it was like fishing so thus this was the waiting game for Jinga.
But as Jinga walked his duster billowed a bit as it was a dark grey color with armor around the shoulders and arms. But all in all despite blending in he ended up catching the eye of a familiar Jedi of green skin. Barriss Offee saw Jinga walking down the street and instantly recognized his outfit as something Andros was known to wear. As Barriss saw him though she then noticed something off about him... the Force surrounded him much like that of a Jedi but... it was off. Unlike Andros his had a taint of darkness to it dormant it may be but still there. She moved to a different spot and in turn spotted something under his duster. It was Cylinder like but the design despite it being unique was that of a Lightsaber.
Barriss had to be calm about this, clearly he was not a Jedi but he dressed like Andros did if different in color and design. This led her to believe he was either A: A Makai Knight or B: a Sith Warrior of sorts. In turn Barriss opted to follow after him if for no other reason than to sedate her curiosity and to make sure a possible threat it dealt with before it could cause any damage or harm to others. But as she saw Jinga walk around she noted he paid people no mind and in turn they paid him no mind. He's not even trying to blend in but he clearly looked to be a young man going about his day suggesting he's a common face among the people thus they would pay him no mind when seeing him roam about.
(Later that day with Jinga)
Jinga was sitting at a small café as a droid served him up a beverage which he calmly drank as if nothing was wrong. Next to him the case he had picked up was laying like nothing was wrong. Barriss looked carefully not too far away as she didn't detect any hostility from him. All the while she felt a sense of familiarity from him as if she had seen him somewhere before. Barriss then saw that Jinga was served a pastry and thus he began to eat it as judging by how people greeted him he was a regular. She could just be a bit paranoid considering she was almost killed by some monster her lightsaber did nothing to stop.
Jinga ate the sweets ever calmly and it wasn't long until he was done. Once Jinga finished he dropped the Credits down on the table paying for his food and added a tip as well. No doubt he was a regular tipper here which was why people bid him farewell as he left. Barriss knew none of this proved he was up to no good seeing as he took the case with him as he left. Maybe she was being paranoid after that monster attack the other night but that sense of familiarity wouldn't stop bothering her. So as Jinga left she kept up her silent pursuit of him not knowing what it would lead her to.
(Jinga)
As Jinga went about his day he knew he was being followed by a Jedi and knew it was not one of the ones that came here with the others. Though as long as she didn't get involved he should be good for the time being. Plus he's meeting with Churi so when this is over he can get this Jedi's memories wiped of the Horror he was hunting and the one from before. A Jinga walked to the square he saw Churi waiting for him surfing the Holo Net for items to buy with her more than modest earnings of Credits.
When Churi saw him she logged out and walked over to him. "Ready to go?" Jinga asked as Churi smirked to her old friend.
"That's my line." Churi retorted but was none the less ready. The two in turn began to walk off as they left to set up a hunting nest for when the Horror shows up again which could be days for all they know. "By the way." Churi began as she looked over to Jinga. "You do know you have stray chasing your ass right?" Churi asked to which Jinga nodded.
"I know." Jinga confirmed as he was aware of his straggler.
"Just checking." Churi responded and thus the duo continued on forth to their hunt.
(Back with Andros and Ahsoka)
The duo arrived at a lake side building as they departed from it. It used to be a Jedi Temple during the time of the Old Republic but Smugglers arrived when the Jedi left Tython and then the Makai Order took it over when one of the Smugglers became a Horror. Of course they only made minor modification as from the looks of it the Temple in question was more of a retreat so any Jedi artifact were sent to the Jedi Order and any information was copied with the original sent to the Jedi.
"Well here we are." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka as she saw it. Droids were seen cleaning the place no doubt for maintenance purposes while another stood in wait for them. "Until Jinga takes care of the Horror this will be our hideout." Andros joked as Ahsoka looked around a bit impressed.
"Come on let me show you around." Andros said as he played guide to Ahsoka who nodded.
(Later)
Ahsoka was actually surprised with what this safe house possessed. The Training Hall was an odd room much like the one in the Temple or the one Jinga trained in but the walls were covered in varying weapons both of Soul Metal, Madou tools, and even Lightsabers. The bedrooms were well furnished much more then what Ahsoka was used to dealing with at the Temple. Then came the archive room which wasn't as large as the Jedi Temple but it had limited access to the main archive of the Makai Order which Ahsoka would assume dwarfs the Temples archives by a few thousand levels. The workshop area was no doubt form Makai Alchemists and Priestesses judging from the varying tools scattered about it while there was also a small garage for speeders and the like.
Ahsoka even saw a landing pad which was shut down no doubt for some reason or another so she left it be for now. The duo were then seen walking up the steps to the balcony area after Ahsoka had been given the full rundown of the safe house. "Well this place is impressive." Ahsoka said as Andros shrugged.
"Yeah but I can name a few things more impressive then the safe house." Andros said while guiding Ahsoka up the steps.
"And you guys have places like these all around the galaxy as well?" Ahsoka asked with Andros shaking his head no as he said, "Not really, we just have them as hideouts for members of the Makai Order, these places are very few. We usually take over places that were left abandoned, clean and fix it, and give it a different purpose. I mean I've been to places similar to this but not this well keep, and not well equipped for other specialized training."
Looking to the walls of lightsabers in the training room area while some of them were actual sabers others were simply training sabers. There also seemed to be older versions as well possibly from the age of the Old Republic. Seeing as the Makai order may give the Jedi back their artifact and data any other equipment that was left behind was mostly up for grabs. Someone gotten their hands on those but they were not available everywhere for lightsaber training, but sword training with a soul metal blade does have similar stances and teaching as well anyways. But not every force sensitive knight would get a lightsaber as well unless they found parts for one, or some use some junk to create one. Also if a Jedi who foolishly lost theirs and never came back to retrieve it, a knight or priest would claim it and modifying for themselves or others. As the old saying goes for these types of things, finders keepers.
Ahsoka was surprised by that but then again it would make sense as the Makai order would need to stay a secret. So taking abandon locations like this one and making it their own seem like a good idea as no one would know it was a secret place of the Makai Order and would not stick out like a sore thumb.
Soon reaching up the steps as Ahsoka was taking in the sites around her it was clear this place was like a paradise any Jedi would approve of. Andros walked up a few steps before stopping as he had realized that Ahsoka wasn't beside him and thus turned around and said, "It is something to marvel at, but didn't you want to see the rest?"
Ahsoka snapping out of thought as she look towards Andros and asked, "Oh right, sorry. Where are we heading towards next?"
Ahsoka quickly rush up to him unaware of where she was stepping towards as Andros saw this as he said a little fast, "WatchwhereyoursteppingAhsoka!"
It was too late as Ahsoka didn't see the small dip of the floors that as in the center of the area itself. As her foot was too far ahead of the edge, when she place her foot down, her whole body started to lean forward with her foot slipping off. Seeing this happen Andros came towards her and stop her from falling.
At that moment when Ahsoka fell into his arms, making him lost a bit of his own balance and try to stable himself by leaning forward. But it seems that Andros didn't judge the small distant between him and Ahsoka properly as soon enough their chest were against one another and then their lips smashed into each other.
In that moment, that very moment time almost seem to slow down for them. They felt a spark that went through their entire bodies. They couldn't describe it, as that simple slip lead to something else entirely.
Soon enough as time flows once more Andros held his footing to keep them both standing up before they let off the kiss. Thus the two soon separated quickly after that, with Ahsoka eye's widened in shocked with her face turn from her normal orange to a dark or blood orange color. As she was blushing like mad, Andros was having a similar reaction as his cheeks were flushed red and his breathing was a bit heavy. No doubt the Knight was taken by surprise by that kiss, it was like a rush to him he can't calm down from.
"I- I- I'm so sorry about that, I d-didn't mean that t-to happen!" Ahsoka said as she shutter with her words with Andros in a similar state as he said while his voice also breaks, "I-it was a-acciDENT! N-nothing w-wrONG!"
Andros quickly cleared up his voice as he took a breath and held it for a moment. Once he let it out he then said, "Let me… show the room- Your room!" All the while as Andros lead Ahsoka to the rooms the two remained awkwardly quite. Needless to say things quickly began to change between the two after that little accident.

(Scene Break Jinga and Churi)
The two had set up an observation spot outside the settlement as Jinga sat down on a stone observing while Churi kept a close eye on the Madou Tool. Already it was activated and right now it was just the waiting game between them. "She's still there you know." Churi said as the Pantoran did her job.
"I know." Jinga said as he sat there with his arms crossed and eyes closed.
"We should really do something about her." Churi said as Jinga then opened and eye to Churi.
"Perhaps." Jinga said before closing the eye again.
"She may just sit there for days on end the least we can do is have her with us. For all we know the Horror could attack her to avoid us." Churi said acting like she didn't notice Barress. "Hell she may very well pass out if we are here for too long." Churi said to which Jinga sighed to her and stood up straight.
"You're not going to stop annoying me about this thing till I bring her in are you?" Jinga asked to which Churi smirked and shrugged to him. With a sigh Jinga knew he was beaten here and thus got to Barress. "Hey." Jinga began as he looked directly to where Barress was hiding. "If you're going to try and spy on us you might as well come over you may just be there for a while." Jinga called out as he looked to Barress.
Barress was shock to hear this as she remained hidden behind a large boulder. Jinga was aware she was there and from the sound of it he was aware for some time. Either he had highly acute senses or he was strong in the force. OR for all she knew it was a combination of both of those theories. But before she could even move she felt the Boulder lift up and thus exposing her hiding spot. She looked and saw Jinga with his hand out using the Force to lift the boulder up.
"So want to talk?" Jinga asked as he looked to Barress.
"Aren't you Ahsoka friend?" Churi asked as she recognized Barress from her trips to the Jedi Temple.
Barress seeing she was caught had her defenses up as she approached the duo. "Can I get a name?" Jinga asked as he looked to Barress.
"Jedi Knight Barress Offee." Barress introduced as she did a small bow to Jinga.
"Jinga Makai Knight." Jinga introduced as he then pointed a thumb to Churi. "Churi one of two constant pain in my asses." Jinga introduced Churi who then glared and threw her Madou Brush at his head only for him to avoid it and force throw it back at her. "See what I mean?" He joked as Barress had to admit that was a funny quip.
"Makai Knight... like Andros?" Barress asked as she knew Andros was something from the few times she met him.
"Not exactly but close enough." Jinga said as he looked to Barress as he had to admit... there was something oddly familiar about her. "You were spying on me because I look suspicious right?" Jinga asked as Barress was surprised by this.
"How did you?" Barress asked to which Jinga shrugged to her.
"Not that hard to tell." Jinga responded as he looked to Barress. "So you have questions I have answers and seeing as the Horror we're looking for hasn't come out of its hiding hole yet I have time to answer those questions." Jinga said offering Barress a seat to which she was surprised how easy it was... then again it could be a ruse but she felt through the Force he was being truthful right now.
"Ok let's talk." Barress said and thus the two took a seat causing Churi to roll her eyes and return her focus back to the Madou Tool. And thus Jinga and Barress began to talk to each other with Barress asking more or less the same questions Andros was asked and Jinga responding to them as truthfully as he could. As he spoke a lot of times he couldn't lie to her not due to the Force but something deeper like he felt compelled to do it and it was associated with why she seemed so familiar to him despite this being the very first time that the powerful Makai Knight and the young Jedi Knight had met each other. Clearly something was forming between them yet at the same time unknown to either of them something was reforming between the two of them as well.
(Scene Break Next Day Andros and Ahsoka)
Andros and Ahsoka were at the training hall still waiting on updates about the Horror from Jinga as Andros was practicing on a training post hand to hand combat. With each blow he made the post spun a bit as he worked on getting his strength up. Nearby Ahsoka was doing the same thing as she needed to be ready for the future. For all she knew there would be times she wouldn't have her lightsabers on hand and after her abduction for those Trandoshian's hunt she wanted to be ready. As Andros trained he saw what Ahsoka was doing and smirked a bit before walking over to her.
"Ahsoka." Andros said as he headed over to Ahsoka.
"Yeah?" Ahsoka asked taking a small break to talk.
"Your form is good." Andros began as he looked to her. "But it can be better." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka.
"Oh yeah how so?" Ahsoka smirked at Andros clearly wanting to hear his answer.
"Simple you need to be firm but light on your feet that way you can switch stances on a dime. Light Stances for fast attacks and dodging and heavy stances for defense and heavy hits." Andros said as he showed her how it was done giving a few test swings.
"Like this?" Ahsoka asked giving an example of her own.
"Yeah." Andros said and thus Ahsoka gave it a try on the training post again. It was good but clearly now what Ahsoka was hoping for after seeing what Andros had done. "It takes practice but your also wanna fix your arm movement your smaller than most but slender so use that to your advantage." Andros said as he began to show her. Ahsoka felt Andros wrapping his arms around hers with her back and Lekku pressed against his chest. From there she saw him fixing her arm movement as she felt his body against hers. From there she saw and followed how he moved her arms before he let go and fixed her stance to adjust as needed. All the while Ahsoka blushed as she then saw Andros let go and looked to her.
"Ok now try." Andros said and thus when Ahsoka did so she was smiling when she saw the results she was looking for.
"Wow your right." Ahsoka said as she saw what she did.
"See simple." Andros said as he smiled to Ahsoka as the two smiled to each other. As they began to grow closer ever so slowly it was clear the two were enjoying the others company... that was until Andros coughed and the two pulled back knowing they had to keep themselves in check though for different reasons. The two then went back to their training as they needed to keep in top form.
(Scene Break outside that Afternoon)
Andros and Ahsoka were seen out in the fields outside the safe house as the two were meditating... or at least they were at first. It had quickly devolved into a conversation. "You're kidding that had honestly happened to Logos?" Ahsoka asked as she didn't think playboy McSexalot had a bad relationship.
"I'm being serious it's true he just walked into our dorm one day in his underwear, gave us the dirty look and said 'don't ask,' before storming to his room to grab his spare gear." Andros said as Ahsoka laughed a bit at Logos expense.
"What about the Senate Incident he was involved with, you know sleeping with a Senators daughter?" Ahsoka asked as it sounded like gossip at first but truth was it was one of Logos' many crosses with the wrong sort.
"I don't know the full story but I got the gist of it, he met her in a bar girl liked it dangerous so they walked home and barely made it to the gate before they started a little mouth war." Andros recounted as Ahsoka paid attention. "Instead of going to her room though they went to her dad's room so needless to say Logos was already taking a risk and from what he told me daddy came home and he hid under the Senators bed and for a good while he was stuck under there when the Senator and his wife started to get frisky." Andros recounted as Ahsoka could only imagine how Logos was suffering there.
"How did he get caught then?" Ahsoka asked as Andros laughed a bit.
"That night baby girl set up a flower path for him and he snuck to her room, his plan was to go through the window but she was enticing for him... which is code for he was using the head between his legs and not the one on his shoulders." Andros spoke as Ahsoka listened to the story. "The two got down to it and let's just say daddy's little girl was a screamer because needless to say Logos ended up running from the guys guards and maybe his whole government if the Senator had it his way." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka. "From what I found out she blew him a kiss while he ran for it while she was still leaking." Andros spoke as Ahsoka could have done without the mental images and wording.
"We had to look for him to get him off world and we eventually found him hiding out in a Canteena. How we found him disguised as a woman who favored the same gender watching the dancer's do a strip dance. We dragged his ass out and shoved him into a ship to Jakku to keep him out of trouble and with the entire planet looking for him we were lucky he was in disguise." Andros recounted as Ahsoka then laughed at Logos small adventure. Sure there was more to the story but that had to come from Logos.
"Why do you keep inviting him almost everywhere?" Ahsoka asked with a small laugh.
"Simple it keeps him out of trouble." Andros said as Ahsoka could see where he was coming from on that.
"I can understand why." Ahsoka laughed as it was clear she agreed with Andros there.
"What about you, what crazy insane stories does Ahsoka Tano have?" Andros asked as he looked to Ahsoka.
"Well... one story involved me seeing what a baby Hutt looks like." Ahsoka offered as she remembered meeting young Rotta the Hutt while they were rescuing the baby slug.
"I'm sure Zaruba can recount a tale like that also." Andros added as he figured it's always the cutest creatures that grow up to become the ugliest of slimos case and point being the Hutts.
Andros listen to Ahsoka story how they save a baby Hutt from the separatists to get on Jabba the Hutt good side so the Republic can have clear trading routes from the inner to the outer rim, and how it almost costing them both of their lives when the little Hutt was sick until Ahsoka got the little guy some medicine that cure him of the sickness he had, and with Ahsoka dropping off the baby Hutt and almost got blasted for some reason until Senator Amidala saved her at the last moment reviling evident as Jabba's uncle was in cahoots with count Dooku of kidnapping his son.
Quite a story to tell and Andros was impressed hearing what Senator Amidala did to help them, almost risking her life as well to do so. He may not have meet her, but he knew stories and rumor of her of being one of the most compassion Senator, almost sound like she could have been a daughter or Grandchild of a Makai knight or a priest depend on who you're asking.
"Sound like one heck of an adventure," Andros said as Ahsoka nodded and said, "Yea, and it was my first rescue mission with Master Skywalker too when it wasn't that long after became his padawan."
"Man my first task wasn't anything like that exciting, but I guess it was pretty dangerous to say at least, dealing with horror that is," Andros said as Ahsoka asked him, "What was that like anyways hunting your first horror?"
Andros thought back to that day when his master first came to pick him up some time after his father's death, as what came to his mind was a woman sitting on a bench in the middle of the night reading a book.
"When I was… 10, I was asked by my master to find a horror and confront it. One was located in a park but its identity has not been discover by anyone yet. Some people were there and he told me to see if I could spot it myself without any help of my abilities, and I did find it," Andros said as Ahsoka asked him, "How did you find it?"
"AS my master once said to me, the evil is sometimes in the detail and I notice a few things. There was a couple there, an old man, and a lady sitting on a bench reading a book, and out of everyone there the lady was the most suspicious out of everyone there," Andros said as he turn towards Ahsoka and went on saying, "The couple were… "*Ahem!" very close to say that a horror would have eaten their victim by then, the old man well but he was more down on his luck but wasn't worst off, but the woman that was reading a book…"
Andros trail off as Ahsoka asked him, "What about the woman reading a book in the park?"
"She was… reading the book in the dark, no light around her as Horrors are Nocturnal being. I asked her what the book was about and told me detail about it and at that point… I knew she was the horror," Andros said as Ahsoka was surprise by that as Andros went on saying, "After that, I follow her and confront her with my training sword and fought against her… but I was easily beaten by her I stood no chance."
"And your master wanted you to face it? How could you fight against something like that at a young age, and how are you still alive?" Ahsoka asked as Andros give a small laugh and said, "My task was to confront the horror, not defeat it. My master was the one to cut it down… but not before he show me what a true horror is."
(Flashback)
As a young Andros stood there looking a bit rough up holding his arm that held his training sword within an old abandon building. Standing before him was a man shrouded in shadow, but held the woman with one of his hands and had the shaft of an axe against her neck. The woman in question was acting like a rabid animal while making inhuman growling sound and showing rows of fangs in her mouth than normal teeth any race would have. The woman was clearly angry as it was currently reaching out to him, wanted to devour him.
It try to get out of the man's grip on her as a strong male voice came forth from the man as he said, "Do you see this Andros? This is a horror."
The man throw the horror back away from the young Andros as the man went on saying, "Horrors pretend to be of a sentient race!"
Quickly slashing his Axe towards the horror to stop it in its track from coming closer as the man went on saying, "To attack people!"
Suddenly the horror pull back off the blade and throw it to the side before running at great speed. As it did so its disguise soon vanished like shredded paper reviling a low level horror, as before it could reach Andros, the man caught the horror before it could touch him as he put his battle axe in front of the horror while also holding the blade itself to keep the horror back as the man said to him, "And devour them!"
Once again the man throw the horror to the side before attacking it with a mixture of his axe, arms and legs as he punches and kick it back with strength alone before slash across its chest a bit with some blood coming out but soon vanishes as the man keep going as he said, "This is what a horror is!"
The horror back away hurt as it fell to one knee trying to recover from its wounds as the man said to Andros, "And the only ones who can defeat the horror…"
The man raises his axe to the read on his shoulders and then cut an emerald halo around himself. As it came forth it spun around him before going above him and opening up, as Emerald Green beast like armor came forth and engulfs the man to reveal what the man is as he said under his helmet, "Are Makai knight."
The Axe Beast Knight Giga, one of the most powerful knight around as the horror stood up somewhat recover from its wounds as Giga walk up to it. The horror then attacked him, but he block it with ease and strike it, pushing it back with great force.
As the horror was on its last legs, Giga raises his axe and grind it against the claw blades of his armor before he grips it in both hands and charge at the horror. He swung and slammed into the Horror chopping into it as it with great force. The Horror cried out before Gaia push through, coming behind the horror as it blew up with its essence seal away inside his Soul Metal Axe.
Young Andros walk up as he looked in Awe at what he saw, as Gaia took down the horror with ease and could not help but smile.
(Later)
As the man and Young Andros walk down a street within the city as shops were still open and children of all sort getting their last minute goodies and treats from the shop owner, as the two walk by them, as the man soon came to an empty area as he began to ask the young boy, "Andros… what is your choice?"
"My choice?" Andros asked as the man points to all the other children enjoying their treat and stuff as he said, "You can still go back that way
Andros turn around to see the children and the adults around going about their way with some enjoying the night life as well as the man went on saying, "You can live happily as a normal person. Your days would be full of joy and dreams. But that not where Makai knights live."
the man soon points to a different way as Andros look over to it and saw a long dark road, where no one was there unknown what lies down that way as the man lower his hand and asked him, "Which path will you take? Make your decision."
Andros look down the dark and lonely path once more before looking back at all the people, all the children. All the happy people enjoying life, as Andros soon turn back to the man as he had only one answer and one path as he said with strength in his voice as he said, "I... want to become a Makai knight!"
The man made a sound like he smirk to that answer as he walk up to Andros and put a hand on his shoulder, giving him a small pat as he said, "Then you're my pupil now."
"Right," Andros said without hesitating as the man nodded and said, "Let's go and meet my other pupils."
Soon enough the man and Andros walk down the dark path together, as the road of a Makai knight is a dark and frightening one, but that doesn't mean he would face it alone, with courage and hope he would grow to be a strong Makai knight with a light within him that will never go out.
(End flashback)
Andros smile to that thought as he said, "It was more of a test of my resolve to see if I could become a Makai knight, and if I still wish to be one? To me the answer was clear, and I became a pupil to my master as he taught me how to be a Makai knight along with Jinga who was his first pupil, and later on everyone you have meet has join us and we all train together, sort of became a family."
Ahsoka was still feeling a bit upset at Andros's Master to make him face against a horror with little to no training, but she understand why he did it and think he would never let Andros get hurt or killed on purpose, but to show him the true nature of a horror is really like, and is sort of happy how Andros life came out to be.
"Anyways I think it's time we head back in, unless you want to skip out on our spar?" Andros said as he stood up and look towards Ahsoka as she smile and stood up and said, "No way I'm backing down, and besides I may learn a thing or two from you."
(Later in the temple)
Andros and Ahsoka were in the sparing ring using the training sabers as Andros had a blue one as he held it like he held his normal sword... without touching his arm. Meanwhile Ahsoka was currently wielding two green swords in a reverse grip like she holds her own lightsabers.
Soon enough the two went at each other as their training saber cross each other as both of them fights in their own fighting style, with Andros was a bit unique than to the normal Jedi fighting stance but it held up quite well against Ahsoka's own. The clanging of wood against wood could be heard as Andros and Ahsoka were sparing with blade combat. As they went at it something began to form and grow stronger between the two. They smiled to each other clearly enjoying the others company right now. Andros spun and slashed at Ahsoka who dodged it with ease before she went for a counter attack. The mock battle continued as Andros dash forth torts Ahsoka only for her to side step from it. When she did that Andros stopped and spun on his feet to deliver a spin kick.
Ahsoka was knocked back by it as she glared at Andros for that one. She then got ready as she then used the training saber at Andros who dodged it as Ahsoka then charged in at Andros who avoided her attack. Ahsoka then used the force to draw the thrown weapon in and toss it at Andros. Andros didn't have time to react as he was hit with it hard and rolled on the ground a bit.
"Hah I win!" Ahsoka cheered patting herself on the back for it. As Ahsoka looked she saw Andros trying to get up only to collapse into the ground causing her to panic. "Andros?" Ahsoka called as she ran over to him. "Andros!" Ahsoka tried again as she rolled Andros to his back only to find him grinning and laughing as Ahsoka glared at him for that. "You jerk!" Ahsoka scolded while also smiling and playfully slapping his arm. Andros then grabbed her and pulled her down with him causing the two to laugh and roll about a bit as it was clear the two were bonding swimmingly. Once Andros and Ahsoka stopped they looked deeply into each other's eyes as it was clear they were becoming quite close to each other. As they laid there for a moment just enjoying the other's Company they heard the familiar sound of BD as the Droid made his chirping sound to be made known.
The duo looked and saw the Droid who tilted his head to the side cutely before they noticed the position they were in. The two quickly got up fixing themselves as Andros coughed into his hand after that. The two looked and smiled to each other before Andros began to speak. "Well I can use a bite to eat." Andros said as Ahsoka agreed with him there.
"Yeah I'm starving." Ahsoka said before she and Andros left to get some food in their stomachs.
(Scene Break Jinga)
Jinga was waiting for their target to make itself known as he knew it was only a matter of time before it showed up. As Jinga waited Barress had yet to leave no doubt trying to see what this monster was for one reason or another. Barress and Jinga had spent most of the time here with Churi as the two spoke much. "So the Horror as you called it... your absolutely sure the only way to deal with it is to kill it?" Barress asked as she looked to Jinga.
"Yes I am... Horrors cannot be negotiated with they were born with this unquenchable hunger and the hunting ground that is our Galaxy is the only place that has the food to somewhat quench that hunger." Jinga explained as he looked to Barress.
"So that monster that attacked me... it was hungry." Barress said as Jinga nodded to her.
"Yes and from the looks of it one of the most basic Horrors out there." Jinga said as he looked to Barress who understood as much. "Greater Horrors have methods to how they hunt and the longer a Horror is allowed to roam the stronger and smarter they become for it." Jinga explained as Barress paid close attention to what Jinga was saying.
"Sound like a very dangerous creature, and you hunt these creatures down?" Barress asked with Jinga nodded and said, "Pretty much and I have yet to let go get away."
"Are you always this brash?" Barress said as she hear the pride in his voice as he said, "Only on Tuesday."
"Unless a pretty girl is involved," Churi said loud enough for them both to hear as Jinga look to her and said, "Can you not talk like that?"
"I'm not hearing a no," Churi said with a smile as Jinga eyebrow twitch a bit with Barriss makes a small laugh seeing Jinga reaction as he said, "Pain in my ass."
As things went silent a bit as Barress looked at Jinga for a moment as she soon asked, "So was that you that save me from the horror the other day, the one from the other night in the Magenta and black armor?"
Jinga sat there as he give a nod and said, "Yea, I was passing by when I sense a disturbance and my friend told me of the nearby horror.
"Her?" Barress asked as she looks towards Churi as she give a small laugh and said, "Oh it wasn't me he's talking about, even though I'm decent at tracking horrors it wasn't me."
"Then who was it then?" Barress asked as suddenly a female voice with a metallic tone like Zaruba suddenly pop up out of nowhere as the voice said, "I believe he is talking about me."
Barress look towards Jinga and was confuse on how the voice was coming to him as he raise his hand and said, "I forgot to introduce you to my longtime friend who has stood by me on my journey of becoming a Makai knight, say hello to Alva."
Revealing his Madou partner Alva who is a ring like Zaruba, as it seems like a face with no eyes on it, just hollow spots where the eyes are supposed to be, with what looks like a gemstone in the middle of its forehead is at Barress was confuse on that until Alva started to speak again as she said, "Sorry for my rudeness, I prefer to stay silent at times."
"Its… fine I suppose," Barress said as she looked a bit confused about this as she looked at Alva closely and wonder how the ring was talking to her? With Jinga noticing her look as he asked, "First time seeing a Madou ring?"
"I suppose, I never seen anything like it." Barriss began as she looked to the Madou Ring. "It's far too small to be a droid of any sort," Barress said as Jinga said to her, "Kind of surprising, I'm guessing that Andros never showed you his Madou Ring Zaruba." Jinga said remembering his best friend and brother in arms. "But then again he may have been ordered to keep a low profile."
"Wait what about Nano-droids?" Churi asked causing the two to look at her. "Fine I'll stay over here." Churi said as she returned her focus onto the Madou Tool.
"Just what is going on exactly?" Barriss asked as she knew something was up now.
"Well we can't exactly tell you and it's probably for the best the less who know the better." Jinga said while he looked to Barriss with a stern look. "Our orders were to make sure only a select few were aware anything beyond will put a lot of people at risk." Jinga said as Barriss was going to let it be until the Madou Tool began to act up.
"We got one!" Churi called out as Jinga sighed and got ready.
"It's too late already." Jinga said as he got up and took out his sword. "Suppose a physical demonstration is in order." Jinga said as the Madou tool did its job reeling the Horror in. The area before them began to distort as something began to make its way into their reality. Jinga proceeded to draw his sword from its sheath with the sheath held in one and the hilt in the gauntlet covered one. Once his sword was drawn the Horror burst out from the rift and attacked Jinga. Jinga of course held his ground but was pushed back a bit by the Horror's assault.
It looked to be some sort of orb like creature made of cogs and gears all of which were covered in a sickening substance that dripped onto the ground. Barriss was surprised to see how well Jinga fought using the Force to his advantage as he dodged and avoided the Horror's attacks. Jinga then slammed his sheath into the Horror's eye causing it pain before sheathing his sword and into it and blasting the Horror back. Jinga spun the sheathed weapon in his hand allowing the hilt to land back into his right hand and drawing it. In doing so he managed to slash the Horror away showing how skilled he truly was.
Jinga then back flipped from the Horrors attack and put his sheath back under his duster before landing. He then flicked his duster in the wind and with his left hand called his Lightsaber to it through the Force. The result was Jinga igniting a violet colored blade as he duel wielded both weapons at once. In turn The Horror roared out and was thus victim to the duel attacks of Jinga's blade and saber. The Horror was being pushed back as more gashes appeared on its form from each blow.
The Horror then levitated away seeing it was better to run while it can. But as the distortion appeared the Madou Tool activated and wrapped the Horror in chains preventing it from escaping and forcibly closing the rift. The Horror looked shocked as Churi smirked to the Horror. "What's wrong miss your flight?" She taunted as the Horror heard this and thus roared in fury.
The Horror then slammed its body into the ground and thus began to undergo a transformation. Its form began to grow while the gears and cogs were absorbed into its body. It wasn't long until it became a large black ball of shadows and thus the 'magic,' truly began to happen. First tow beast like legs came to being as they touched the ground followed by two long and large demonic arms with massive claws at the hands. Its torso was skinny but thick as it had many scars across said body, following it up was its head which had a large mien of tendril like hair showing its demonic fang filled face. The Horror roared in fury as Jinga deactivated his lightsaber and sheathed it.
"Wow... think you can handle that?" Churi asked as Barress was shocked to see what had happened.
"The Horror... I will cut it down." Jinga said as he then got ready to fight and for that he needed to change cloths to more a more appropriate set of wear.
Just then Jinga quickly raised his sword in the air as he cuts on through it, creating a red halo. It didn't end there as he began trailing down doing a small spin as the cut followed along with his sword to the ground making another halo that was blue. He then came back around in a full spin to connect the two halos before they move towards each other in the middle surround Jinga before opening up and engulf him with armor. The Armor was Soul Metal as it was a magenta color and highly ornate. This was the Armor of the Shining Shadow Knight Roze.
Roze then glared at the Horror creating a beast like growl no doubt intended on cutting it down. Barriss was surprised to see what had happened as she knew now she could only observe but all the while that sense of familiarity grew exponentially. Roze then charged at the Horror with a roar as the Horror did the same. The Horror then made a swipe at Roze who then slid under its arm and with a spin cut through its side. Roze then jumped onto its back and grabbed a fistful of its mien before tightening the grip. Roze then flipped and slammed the Horror to the ground before slicing off the hair and stabbed at its main body. The Horror roared in pain and force Roze off its body and growled at the Makai Knight.
Roze wasn't done as he then charged it and in turn Sword met Claws as the two glared at each other with their blades creating sparks from the friction. The Horror then roared out and pushed Roze back and thus managed to bash him to a nearby boulder but Roze was ready for it. Roze spun in the air and landed safely on his feet against the boulder before he took a battle stance. Roze then jumped off the boulder and went at the Horror with his sword raised. The Horror saw this and managed to disarm Roze of his sword where it stabbed into the ground nearby. Roze seeing this willed his armor to open a compartment and thus his Lightsaber shot out. Roze then slashed against the Horror causing it pain due to the Soul Metal mixed into the Saber. Once Roze was on the ground he focused his power to the gauntlet and in turn Roze right arm began to glow with power. He then slammed it into the Horror blasting it back where it crashed to the side of the wall destroying it with its indent.
Roze then force pulled his sword calling it to his free hand and thus began to duel wield both his Lightsaber and Sword. The Horror now freed was no match for this might as Roze began to spin both weapons around causing damage to the Horror. Roze then stopped and kicked the Horror back causing it to fly back from the powerful kick. Roze then deactivated his Lightsaber once more and once he put it away he took a battle stance grinding his claws against his sword creating sparks to accompany his ominous sigh. The Horror was back on its feet and when it was Roze charged at the Horror faster than it could react. Roze then with a mighty swing swung his sword through the Horrors waist cutting it in two ending its reign in this realm. Once Roze did so the Horror turned to dust allowing Jinga drop his stance from it. Roze then slammed his sword into its sheath and when the hilt met the sheath his armor disengaged reverting Roze back to Jinga.
"Show off." Churi scoffed as she watched the scene play out.
Barriss saw this and the way Jinga moved... she was feeling herself get drawn to him almost like... NO she was a Jedi and attachments were forbidden to the Jedi Order. She must deny herself that to follow the Jedi Code... but the way Jinga looked to her... she felt her defenses weakening from it. "Let's go report in... it seems we may have another Jedi now aware of the Horrors." Jinga said knowing he was taking a huge risk... but he can't help but be drawn to this Jedi and the familiar aura she produced to him.
(Scene Break Andros and Ahsoka)
Andros and Ahsoka were having a meal as it was passed sunset. The two sat together as Andros smiled to Ahsoka while the Droid servant awaited the diner's orders. "So when I got to the Hutt's on Coruscant I ended up going into aggressive negotiations to take down the Horror." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka.
"What negotiations with a lightsaber?" Ahsoka teased as she looked to Andros.
"No Negotiations with a Makai Sword, the Force, and Churi." Andros said as Ahsoka figured Churi had hand in it.
"I swear she tries to kill you most of the time." Ahsoka said as Andros smiled to her.
"No kidding." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka with a smile on his face. Ahsoka returned his smile as their food laid forgotten and finished showing the two were more focused on each other than their own meals at the moment.
(Later Balcony)
The two were on the Balcony once more as they looked to the night sky admiring the stars. It was always strange to see the stars without the city lights impeding it even after flying through them for so long. The two stood in silence with each other as Andros gaze went over to Ahsoka. Andros didn't know what was going on with him as he gazed at Ahsoka. He must be losing his mind but somehow he didn't mind if Ahsoka Tano was the last bit of sanity he had left. Ahsoka then looked over to Andros as their eyes met each other both looking deeply into the other.
Andros and Ahsoka were already side by side but their bodies seemed to be moving on autopilot as they orbited closer to each other. But as they grew closer it was clear they were about to share a kiss until... Ahsoka pulled back regaining herself. "No... This is wrong." Ahsoka said as she had to remind herself she was a Jedi a Padawan she may be a Jedi none the less.
"Wait what is?" Andros asked as it was like he just got cock-blocked here.
"This what we were about to do, what we've been doing." Ahsoka said as she gestured to the both of them.
"Oh..." Andros realized as he knew the Jedi code prevented many Jedi from having any form of attachments even romantic ones. "Wait are you saying." Andros said suddenly as he realized why Ahsoka would say that.
"Andros listen it can't work ok." Ahsoka said as she could feel it through the force and she knew Andros felt it too.
"Because you're a Jedi." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka. "Then the code is wrong!" Andros defended as he looked to Ahsoka who then looked almost offended. "Attachments like love it's what makes us strong." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka. "Garo is proof of that he draws power from those attachments." Andros said as he looked to Zaruba for a moment. "As long as we don't let those darker emotions control us if we can channel and direct it then..." Andros trailed off as Ahsoka saw where Andros was coming from.
"I'm sorry Andros." Ahsoka said as she looked ready to walk away. But before she could their communicators went off as they both answered it.
"Ok hope you two aren't getting down and dirty but heads up the Horror is dealt with so the draw bridge is down." Churi said as she looked to the two. "Meet us tomorrow at the Watchdog sight because we got a Tomb to raid." Churi said before cutting the communication off leaving Andros and Ahsoka alone.
The two looked to each other both longing for the other before Ahsoka looked away and walked back to her room. No doubt it was hard for both of them but... that was the way things had to be. Jedi are not allowed to have attachments for it could lead them down the path of the Dark Side. But it was a task she may not walk away from as Ahsoka was fighting with herself to deny those feelings at all costs. The Tragedy of Jedi was despite being luminous beings within pale bodies of flesh they were still held back by their hearts. One cannot help but feel what they feel no matter how much they wish otherwise. But fate has a funny way of changing things to those who least expect it yet at the same time still desire for this change to occur. Bur for now rest was needed as come morning they face a task that would truly test their minds, bodies, and souls.
