Garo Conquest of Makai
ESKK: Well let's begin a new chapter people.
(Start)
Barriss was with Churi as the two made their way through the temple. Churi made sure to keep her ears pealed for any more of those Anti-Bodies behind them. "Jeez this place is a damn maze." Churi said as she swore she heard it pulsing around them.
"This place is almost alive." Barriss said as she then stopped with Churi as they saw something.
"I think you may be right." Churi said as she gestured to an area nearby. "Taken Biology?" Churi asked as Barriss nodded.
"I studied it in my free time." Barriss confessed to which Churi then looked to the thing they were looking at.
"Remind you of anything?" Churi said as she gestured to the walls as Barriss looked it over.
"It looks like... veins and a Nervous System." Barriss said as she realized what this meant.
"Yes and their filled with Horrors blood acting as a fuel source." Churi said scanning them and thus proceeded to push Barriss away from it.
"We need to keep moving." Barriss said just before she noticed something odd. She saw a blue winged butterfly flying about as it held a sense of familiarity to her.
"Come on." Churi said and thus the two began running off unaware that the Butterfly was leading the way somewhat.
But as they ran Barriss soon saw something up ahead that seemed to be glowing. "Look a door!" Barriss called out as they ran torts it.
"What door?" Churi asked as all she saw was darkness up ahead.
But before Barriss could respond she had already gone through it and vanished right in front of Churi's eyes. "Barriss!" Churi called out as she saw her new friend had just vanished. But before Churi could start searching she heard the sound of the Anti-Bodies screeching from afar and thus had no choice but to keep running.
(Meanwhile with Barriss)
Barriss found herself in a large field of sorts as she was confused as to what it was. She was shocked that she was seemingly outside thus making the Jedi cautious as to where she was. As she looked around she noticed it was night time as the moon full and round was high in the sky. As she began to explore a bit she soon saw something amiss about this place through the Force. She was then met with the sound of a bell and thus saw a Madou Brush near her. She walked over to it and noticed unlike Churi's the brush was red and held to it a sense of familiarity to Barriss.
As Barriss looked it over she noticed a light shine down and thus saw the moon was now glowing brighter. It looked beautiful until it began to turn blood red while releasing something or someone from it. Barriss then saw high heels land on the ground gently as standing before her was a pale skinned woman with a blade dress that revealed one of her long flawless legs, her hair was long and dark as her eyes were cold and dark. But for some reason Barriss swore she had seen her somewhere before like a distant memory she knew well yet cannot recall.
"I've been waiting for you to find him... Offee Barriss-chan." The woman said as the way her red lips looked if Barriss was anyone else it would have beckoned them to approach. But the way she spoke confused Barriss if she knew who she was why use her last name then her first name.
"You got my name wrong its Barriss Offee there's no 'Chan,' in my name." Barriss said as she looked to this woman.
"Ah... gomen… no sorry it's a term of endearment where I'm from and where I'm from its surname first then the given name." The woman said as she looked to Barriss who held her Madou Brush.
'A cultural thing good to know.' Barriss said as this woman unnerved her yet at the same time was strikingly familiar to her somehow.
"Well, thank you for explaining that, but now how do you know my name, and what do you mean you been waiting for me to find him… who do you mean?" Barriss question the woman as she didn't answer her. Just then Barriss cried out in shock when the vanished and appeared next to her grabbing the brush and Barriss's arm. The woman then flipped Barriss over and in turn forced her hand to release the Brush before tossing her aside. Barriss got up only to see the woman was now at a different location walking to the side a bit. As the woman walked she just looked over her madou brush a bit, playing with the bristles a bit before Barriss asked her, "Just who are you anyways?"
"Who am I? I suppose I am called Amily Mikage in your culture ways," Amily said as she reviled herself as Barriss thought for a moment to the name of Mikage as it sounded very familiar to her, but she quickly shake her head a bit of that thought and said to her, "You didn't answer my first two question."
"Why would I answer question when you yourself will find out? Answering them would be a waste of energy, and I'm not here for answering your question," Amily said as she looked at Barriss in an unusual way as the Jedi ask her, "Then why are you here?"
"For this," Amily said before she suddenly attacks Barriss out of nowhere by firing a madou bolt from her madou brush, as Barriss dodge it quickly before drawing her lightsaber, as a blue blade came forth it when she ignite it as Amily keep on attacking as she fire more bolts at her, with Barriss deflecting the attacks and try sending them back but it seem Amily was just as skillful of dodging the attack herself.
Amily stop for a moment as she drew a circle in the air before it change into a magical seal of sort which fire out more madou energy bolt towards Barriss, as she was surprise by this, she ran and dodge them, knowing she can block them all with her lightsaber.
The dark priestess soon saw an opening and took a shot, as Barriss saw it coming but unable to move fast enough as it seem dodging all of those shot tired down a bit, she was slow and the bolt was fast it struck Barriss's hand, crying out as she drop her lightsaber while it power down.
Barriss check her hand to see the damage, but only seen her skin was slightly burnt but easily treatable but it hurt greatly, as she quickly look around for her lightsaber and reach for it, only for Amily to come up and stop her, as she smack Barriss's hand away, not letting her get her weapon with the force, she did a spin kick sent the Jedi across the room putting more distant away from her weapon more, but Barriss was still able to keep on her feet as she glared at Amily.
"It quite easily to disarm someone like you, a warrior of the stars, of their weapon that is the only mean to defend yourself," Amily said meaning to her lightsaber and keeping it out of site behind her as Barriss asked her, "Why are you doing this?"
"Because I want to, and to see if you can stand on your own without any help of any of your friends, to see if your master has train you well enough to walk on your own two feet," Amily said as Barriss said to her, "I can stand well."
"Only because I'm going easy on you, but let see how well you can fair against when I do hold back as much now," Amily said before she came at Barriss again as she send kick and strike of her hand towards the green skin Jedi, as Barriss did the best to avoid and block some, but they were clearly powerful strike when she was hit by one and got push back because of it.
"Is this all you have? Where is your power, your strength? How can you protect yourself if you can't stop me?" Amily said, as Barriss keep herself from falling down and keep taking a step back from Amily, but could not counter against the priestess with her current skill, with few option and her back about to be push against the wall, she call upon the force to aid her as she stop Amily strike from reaching her as she held her arm back as she said, "You want me to show you my power, here it is."
Barriss soon force push Amily away greatly, as the dark priestess flew in the air, and hit the ground hard, with Barriss said to her, "My power of the force, if you think you can stand equal to Jedi, you are mistaken."
"Maybe, but… I'm not done yet," Amily said while picking herself up and about to fire a bolt at Barriss again, only for the Jedi to force push here again and more further away, as it seem she was going to hit the ground again, she suddenly flip in the air and landed on her feet with grace, surprising Barriss by this as Amily said, "Amazing ability you have there, but I learn how to adopt against enemies with great yet stranger power they hold."
Amily held up her hand near her face as she said, "To tell you the truth, I never heard of this force before, never had use it in my life… but that has change."
Suddenly Amily sent a force push towards Barriss, as the force send her into the wall, soon falling down and gasp out for breath and in pain, as Barriss eyes scream surprised, she was shocked maybe even scared, as she look up at Amily as the dark priestess look down at her as she said, "Do you know why I am able to do that? And don't say I am sensitive to the force or I am naturally talented… well I am in a way."
"H-how could you be?" Barriss asked as there was no other thing way to explain it as Amily said, "It because of you I am able to do more than I should. Because when you were born, I came back as well, in this life, as a new person… as a new being, a new me but it seem I was born into a weak life as well."
"What are you talking about?" Barriss asked her as she doesn't understand what the dark priestess is talking about, as Amily walk up to her before kneeling down and put a finger under her chin to lift her head a bit and look her into her eyes and said, "You could be so much more than you are, more stronger and powerful."
"I'm not turning to the dark side?" Barriss said as Amily laugh at that while removing her finger from Barriss chin and said, "You think this is about light and darkness? No its about you holding yourself back, this Jedi order is holding you back from your true self, as strength itself doesn't come from clear of mind, becoming emotionless, or working hard… but through connection of others, to love another… you have felt it don't you, your calling out for someone… someone you have meet, someone you want close to you, someone you want most."
"That is not the Jedi way." Barriss retorted as she glared at Amily who was unorthodox when trying to turn her.
"That is why you are weak." Amily said as she looked to Barriss. "You felt it the Jedi has begun to loss its way do to its stagnated dogma opening themselves to savagery." Amily said while walking to the side a bit. "The Makai Order many times over has proven to be stronger due to these bonds so long as they do not allow them to be everything they are." Amily continued as she glared at Barriss for a moment. "But thanks to this control they aren't willing to grasp power when they need it." Amily added but Barriss was still on the defensive.
Barriss was silent as she won't deny she had those thoughts but regardless she continued her defiance. "You don't know what you're talking about." Barriss argued as she glared at Amily.
"I do... this longing this familiarity to Jinga you felt it. Like you had met each other before but in a life not your own." Amily said as she walked away looking away from Barriss as she looked up to the blood red moon above them.
"Who are you truly?" Barriss demanded as she glared at Amily while she was at the same time staying on the defensive.
Just then Amily vanished but before Barriss retorts Amily appeared before her and kicked her in the stomach. Amily then vanished again while Barriss was in pain only to grab her head and force her to her knees from behind. She then rubbed her head to Barriss's as if enjoying the fell of their skins making contact. "I am you and you were once me." Amily whispered to Barriss's ear before giving it a sensual lick causing the Jedi to shiver in response to it. "So it's only fair that I help us reunite with our other half our... Jinga." Amily said only for Barriss to go wide eyed and in turn she drew from deep in the Force. The result was Amily being blasted back by a Force blast and thus slid on the ground from it.
"You won't touch him!" Barriss yelled as she glared at Amily.
"I won't have to." Amily said as she then got back up and looked to Barriss. "He and I are made for each to her the same way you and he are." Amily said as she walked away a bit. "Let yourself go and be one with Jinga the faster you relinquish those petty feelings and beliefs the easier it will become." Amily said as she wanted HER Jinga back not the pale imitation he carries his name.
Just then Barriss attacked with her Lightsaber ignited and slashed down upon Amily. The attack hit but Amily turned to a flurry of blue winged butterflies and began to scatter about. It was clear she had saw this coming as she flew around Barriss but was not trying to fight. "You cannot destroy me without ending yourself and even if you did we will just come back again." Amily said as her voice echoed around Barriss. "But until the time is right I'll be keeping my eyes on you... Barriss-chan." Amily said and thus the insects flew off leaving Barriss alone.
The world around Barriss then went off in a bright flash of light causing her to shield it. When she did she found herself in a new room which wasn't one she knew off. But she then looked and saw the sight of the tags left behind by Churi meaning her partner came by this way. Barriss knowing what to do followed the trail with the intent of reuniting with Churi knowing full well that they had a job to do. But somehow deep down Barriss knew this would not be the last time she sees Amily. As if to prove a point a blue butterfly once more appeared where Barriss once was and hovered before vanishing again.
(Scene Break Anakin and Phonon)
The two were seen walking down the halls after escaping those things Logos set off. "Remind me to kill Logos later and hide the body." Phonon said as he walked around.
"If that was an example of some of the stuff he does I'll help." Anakin said as that was actually the tip of the iceberg for most if not all of Logos shenanigans. "So any idea where we are?" Anakin asked as he looked around the area.
"Not sure luckily the marks should help us keep track." Phonon said as he looked to Anakin.
"Hopefully." Anakin said as the duo walked through the area expecting the worse just around the corner somewhere just waiting for a chance to attack and kill them.
Just then Anakin felt a presence flow past him making him go stiff. As he stopped he felt the cold and hopelessness wash over him as he began to pick up his breathing. "Phonon stay close we may have..." Anakin began only to find that Phonon was gone.
Just then he heard footsteps and following it up was heavy breathing of some sort aid. He then looked to the heavy footsteps and saw a large figure towering over him by a few inches. As the foe made his way torts him, Anakin was ready for anything as the black figure glared down upon Anakin. It then drew forth a lightsaber and ignited a crimson blade from it causing Anakin to ignite his own blade.
The foe glared down at him with the lenses of his helm all but glowing red in the light of the saber. The two began their duel as they swung their lightsabers at each other in an attempt to best the other. Anakin didn't have enough time to react as they did battle against each other until they locked blades. Anakin took note of his form in this new adversary's battle style and seeing as he knew his form the way he fought suggested he was force to adjust it. Anakin's advantage and thus he managed to disarm his foe and force him back.
"Who are you?" Anakin asked as he glared at his foe before him.
The foe was silent before he used the Force on him forcing Anakin back. Anakin then summoned his foes Saber and thus charged at him and proceeded to slice his head off causing the foe to fall dead. He didn't want to do it mind you but he was left with no choice. But when he looked he heard a small explosion from where the head had landed to which Anakin investigated. But in turn he was horrified to find that the head was half of Padme's head and half of his mother's Shmni's head. As Anakin saw this he head a door open and before he could look further the place vanished.
"Take this as you will." The voice of who he assumed was the figure said as it seemed mix with that of the Son. "Fate has a nasty way of bringing our nightmares to life." It said before it faded and thus Anakin saw the room fading forcing him to head to the door. It was brief he won't lie but that briefness was all he needed for fear to enter him.
As Anakin ran though he failed to notice the figure had returned and was glaring at him with hatred torts Anakin... torts the past.
(Scene Break Andros)
Andros ran down the hall as he was looking for Ahsoka and Jinga hoping to regroup fast. Just then he arrived at a large entrance way to a larger room when he looked for his friends and allies. "Ahsoka!" Andros called out as he looked for the Jedi who stole his heart. "Jinga!" Andros called out looking for his best friend.
"Andros!" Ahsoka called out as Andros looked and in turn he saw Ahsoka running over to him as Andros smiled to her. The two regrouped as Andros looked to her. "I've been looking all over for you." Ahsoka began only to find Andros' lighter in her face lit with the madou flame. Once he saw her eyes did not respond he put it out and Ahsoka glared at him.
"Really Goldie couldn't trust me?" Ahsoka asked with mock scolding of him.
"Sorry this place has been playing tricks on me." Andros said to which Ahsoka nodded in agreement.
"No kidding." Ahsoka nodded knowing this was no ordinary place.
"I was worried for you Ahsoka I'm just glad your well." Andros said as Ahsoka nodded as she looked to Andros.
"Thanks." She said as it was getting awkward between them as they both know they had feelings for the other but while Andros wanted to pursue them Ahsoka had to deny herself that due to her Jedi training and the requirement to be detached from the Galaxy at large for enlightenment.
"Look, I." Andros began only for Jinga to be heard.
"Andros Ahsoka!" Jinga called out as the two looked and saw Jinga running to them.
"Jinga!" Andros called as the two ran over to each other leaving Ahsoka behind.
"You know the more you deny yourself." The Son spoke as Ahsoka saw him. "The more you leave yourself vulnerable to me." The Son said with a chuckle as he smirked to Ahsoka.
"Don't count on it." Ahsoka retorted while trying to block him out.
"I wonder what suffering we shall inflict on him when you do fall." The Son taunted further to which Ahsoka tried to ignore him.
"Leave her be brother." The Daughter began as she glared at her brother. "We are in a place of sentimentality for us." The Daughter confessed as she knew what this hollowed place was.
'Sentimentality?' Ahsoka thought when she heard this from the arguing deities.
"Sister that was centuries ago we could do nothing at the time." The Son defended as he glared at his sister for even bringing up such a thing.
"Yet despite their fall into darkness you still mourned for them and mourned for she who birthed them when she fell." The Daughter said as she glared at her brother. "Do not think it has escaped my notice that your motives for this goes beyond stopping grave disaster." The Daughter said as she glared at her brother.
"Whatever do you mean?" The Son said feigning ignorance to his sister.
"Her." The Daughter said as she gestured to Ahsoka. "You intend to use her for your own means." The Daughter accused as she glared at her brother.
"You are hardly innocent of any of what you accuse me of either, my sister." The Son shot back as Ahsoka saw this. "After all it was you who had guided them to their demise." The Brother continued as The Sister glared at her sibling.
"Might I add it was you who helped her to those sacred places before she became what she is?" The Daughter accused and thus Ahsoka cried out in pain getting the attention of the others. As the Son and Daughter glared at each other clearly trying to establish their power over Ahsoka to have more of a foothold it was evident they had blamed the other for the loss of four who were most cherished to them.
"Ahsoka!" Andros called out as he ran over to Ahsoka and looked her over.
"I-It hurts!" Ahsoka cried out as she held her head in pain feeling the conflict of light and dark inside her.
Andros seeing this as did Jinga quickly acted as he then reached out with the force to Ahsoka. He knew it was dangerous but he had to try something and thus began to syphon out what he could to help Ahsoka as best he could. The pain came to him as well but he gritted his teeth and ignored it.
The Ones felt this and saw what Andros was doing before they in turn pulled back. Once they did so Ahsoka began to calm down as she then glared at the two. "Go beyond this path and your quarry will await and with it dark truths." The Son said as the Daughter didn't make any retort as what laid beyond was one of their greatest shames to date. In turn the Ones eased off knowing they won't be needed for now but they knew they were deep inside Ahsoka so they can come back out at any moment.
Ahsoka stood up a little weak with Andros held her hand and help her up as he said, "Are you alright Ahsoka?"
"Yea, thank you. What did you do?" Ahsoka asked him as Jinga answer, "He transfer your pain onto him, a little risk to do as not many people can handle another one pain unless one is train enough to withstand it, but those kind of ability to use are meant for emergency situation that would call for it."
"You… took my pain?" Ahsoka question as Andros said to her, "You are very important to this mission, and I can't really stand to see… others in pain."
Ahsoka is surprise by this as she turn her head a bit and give a soft smile and said, "Thank you then Andros."
Andros given a nod to her with Jinga said, "Well whatever that was now out of the way, where do we head to next?"
Ahsoka soon focus again and remember where the Daughter and Son pointed towards as she did the same and said, "Through there, I think is where we need to go and shut down the tomb."
"Let go then, hopefully the others are not too far behind," Andros said as the other two nodded to this before went on through.
(Logos and Obi-wan)
Obi-wan an Logos manage to get away from the tombs defense drones, with so many doors opening and closing, it seem like something was trying to push them towards somewhere and it was into more trouble, or Logos' idiotic nature did sense he always yelling out until Obi-wan had told him to shut it so they won't be founded.
After that it was smooth sailing mostly as they advance through the dark halls and avoid any more of those nasty ugly spider and squid drones, they were glad to avoid them as Logos had gotten caught by a few squid drones and did something before Obi-wan had to save him from them and hid, with Logos made a mental note to say away from fish and any water life food.
As Obi-wan said to Logos, "I think we're getting closer."
"Because we haven't ran into those spiders and squids things?" Logo question as Obi-wan said, "I can feel it… and others."
"Andros and Jinga?" Logos asked as he knew those two were very strong force users, next to Skywalker and Kenobi, and maybe Ahsoka and Barriss as Obi-wan said, "One way to find out."
(Churi)
Churi had gotten away from the drones that was chasing her when Barriss vanish in a dark area that she could not see through, no doubt the force is at work here and it was keeping her away from Barriss until whatever is happen with the green skin Jedi was done as Barriss came rushing around the corner as Churi called out, "Hey!"
Barriss stop and turn and face Churi as she was sighed in relief that she found a familiar face, as Churi came up to her and asked, "Why did you run ahead like that?"
"I'm sorry… I thought I found a way to the tombs core… turn out to be a trap, stuck in some illusion," Barriss said as she didn't want to tell what had happen of meeting a woman who claimed to be a past life of hers, with her as Churi said, "Yea, seeing as you are a force user and I'm not, this tomb will affect you more than me, no doubt the damn tomb itself try to separate us all after you vanish into that dark area, I was chased off by those Anti-Bodies drones."
"I'm sorry again, I'll stick with you this time," Barriss said as she may hate it but the last thing she wanted was to end up into another place from before as Churi said, "Well then let's keep going, I think I figure out the route when I was force to run around, follow me."
The two headed off and hopefully catch up with the other members of their group soon. Fact is there no telling what other danger that could be waiting for them.
As they headed off they soon took notice to a familiar sight that was very annoying to them. "Wait isn't that." Churi asked seeing the familiar figure nearby to which Barriss saw him as well.
(Later back with the trio)
The trio comprised of Andros, Jinga, and Ahsoka arrived at a large crystal like room as they saw no other paths from it save for the one they came through. "Is this the place?" Andros asked as he looked around.
"Sure seems that way." Jinga agreed as he looked around the room.
"Ahsoka!" Came the voice of Anakin as he ran into the room and saw Ahsoka and the others.
"Master!" Ahsoka greeted as she looked to Anakin happy to see he was alright.
"This place it has some sort of effect on us." Anakin said as just then Barriss and Churi came in with Phonon.
"We've noticed and look who we found on the way." Churi said as Phonon was dragged to the front.
"We found him hiding out in a small hole." Barriss said as she came Phonon a disapproving look.
"Hey I was outnumbered and being chased I had to do something!" Phonon defended as Churi smirked to him.
"At least until you got stuck in there." Churi said with a cocky smirk on her face.
"Shut up." Phonon defended before they heard to more sets of footsteps.
The entire group looked weapons at the ready only to see Obi-Wan and Logos had arrived. "Well this is quiet the welcome." Obi-Wan said as he saw they had all arrived.
"Oh it's just you the stone cold repellent." Phonon said as Logos glared back at the perverted Knight.
"Oh your still here and still with your sacks. Are you still clean?" Logos countered as Phonon glared at Logos for that one as he was surprisingly enough clean despite all the woman he's slept with.
"So we're here lets shut this thing down." Andros said wanting to get this done and go home ASAP.
As they went deeper into the room the group took noticed that the crystal was giving off a light as the Force Users all heard whispers from it. "That looks like a Khyber Crystal." Ahsoka noted as she looked it over.
"Yeah but look at these runes carved into it." Churi said as she gave it a once over. "Runes our order uses ancient ones at that." Churi said as she looked them over.
"Stop." Zaruba spoke up with a warning for them as he sensed it.
"We have company." Alva added as she felt it as well a powerful darkness was approaching the young heroes.
"A great darkness a powerful Horror approaches be read." Zaruba said and thus the group heard footsteps coming from behind them.
The group all looked and thus they saw a man with glowing red eyes, pale white skin, and a beard approach with fangs jotting from his jaw. He had a long mane of hair and armor that covered all but his upper torso and shoulders while wielding a hammer like weapon with spikes. "The Force did not deceive me. Warriors direct descendants of the Je'daii order and warriors of the Makai here within this ancient place." The man said as the Force Users could feel it this man no this Horror was extremely powerful in the Force not as powerful as the Ones but a close rival to them. "I must ask warriors if you all know what this place truly is and who I am." The Horror offered as Jinga glared at him.
"This is a once sacred place corrupted by darkness you bring in." Jinga said as he glared at the Horror.
The Horror then began to laugh as if Jinga just told the most hilarious of jokes to him. "Incredible everything you have just said is wrong." The Horror said not even surprised at how ignorant the group was.
"Doesn't matter we're here to shut this place down and take you down!" Anakin yelled as the Horror chuckled to this.
"You all dare enter MY inner sanctum and dictate your petty squabbles and terms to me!? I am powerful and eternal. And your pathetic reasons for being here is known to me, the Force had foretold this." The Horror said as he looked to the group. "But you who claim to be practitioners of the Force have strayed from what the teachings truly was and have grown ignorant to it and to my purpose here." The Horror said as he wasn't even bothered by their reasons for being here.
"Useless ramblings of a Horror." Andros defended as the Horror saw him.
"The Golden Knight the champion of the Order yet even now ignorant." The Horror defended as he then made his way torts them in a calm manner. "Hear me in an age before any recorded history the Ones had a servant who had grown to become known as 'The Mother,' from her womb three children were born from herself and the Father Demigods to the Force itself." The Horror regaled surprising the group with this information. "While the mother kept peace between the warring son and daughter the half-siblings were something new completely. There sole reason for being was to defend the Balance between their family members until their mother lost her way." The Horror said as he then walked to the side a bit.
"Their mother had drank and bathed in nexus pools of the Force when she realized she would lose her beloved family in the Father, Son, and Daughter and feared her own children would not be able to keep the balance between them." The Man said as he walked away a bit. "The Action warped her beyond all form of light becoming something truly dark and evil. The Father took his family even his there youngest and left the Mother behind. That in itself was a mistake for her corruption continued when she became one with a Horror." The man said as he glared at the group.
"The three Children noble and pure knew they had to stop her by any means necessary thus they left their divine family to hunt down their mother and put a stop to her. From there she had already enslaved worlds and forced them to construct a superweapon for herself. Learning the ways of the Makai the three with their immense power with the Force banded together to best their once beloved mother." He told them as the group knew this information may provide them with more on the tombs. "But they could not do this by themselves thus they entered the pools their mother had done only taking a small part of it while holding a firm grip of their light, balance, and nobility. With this power the scales tipped in their favor." The Man spoke before Andros cut in.
"And what does this have to do with the tombs and you?" Andros asked accusingly as the Horror chuckled.
"When the three warriors faced their mother her weapon was completed, countless worlds were consumed or enslaved by her. The three were victorious but not without a grave cost." The warrior spoke as he looked to them. "They could not destroy her weapon thus they fragmented it into three pieces and forged a key in which you now possess boy." The Horror said pointed his weapon to Jinga. "They entrusted the access to the tombs and the means to traverse to their father and half-siblings and traveled in them to three locations." The Horror said as he looked to them. "But they could not seal it as they were thus they made the ultimate sacrifice and became Horrors themselves to keep these tombs from truly awakening by sealing themselves inside them." The Horror said revealing the truth to these warriors.
"Wait so that means?!" Ahsoka gasped as she realized what this meant.
"Yes I was once one of those noble of warriors but now I am but an agent of the darkness a bringer of chaos." The Horror said as he glared at the group. "And as those I stand sentry over this dark place to keep my mother sealed away, cut me down and you will begin the countdown to her release." The Horror said as he glared at the group knowing this day would have come regardless.
"He-he-he, oh father, even you must smile of the irony," the horror clam as everyone stood ready against the horror as he turn around towards them and said, "Maybe even he would sacrifice for all of you for the greater good, I however am not!"
"Everyone back away!" Andros said as he felt the force building up within the horror, as they soon back away quickly as the horror swing his hammer around him, creating a red force barrier of sort that smash the ground around him.
Phonon quickly took his chance and fire arrows at the horror, as they flew towards their target, the horror himself dodge the arrows with ease, despite how big he was, he was very powerful.
Logos moved in to attack as he extended his knife weapon into a sword and slash at the horror as he gotten close to him, gotten a small cut in, logos was suddenly force push out across the room they were in.
Suddenly Obi-wan and Anakin had their lightsaber ignited and attack the horror together, as they may not be able to kill him, they could weaken him, and surprising he was fast with his hammer as he block their sabers or hit them away before kicked obi-wan away and gotten into a deadlock with Anakin as he said, "You don't have the necessary ability or weapon to defeat me, so why bother?"
"Because I know what is at stake here if we don't succeed," Anakin said as he would do everything in his power to protect the galaxy and his wife, even it means taking on an army of horrors so be it, as he was shove off before he was hit away by the hammer, luckily he block the strike but he still went flying from it.
Ahsoka and Barriss join in on the fight as well as they ignited their lightsabers, with Ahsoka taken in all she learn from her master, and the skills taught to her by Andros as she gotten near the horror and send a kick at his leg making him stagger a bit with Barriss following up behind her with a slash with her lightsaber that gave the horror a nasty burn cut from it.
He did quickly heal but the scars remains, as he was about to do a heavy strike against the girls, Andros and Jinga jump in and they attack with their swords and sabers as the horror stop their attack with his weapon, but he couldn't push them back as easily as the girls join back in and cut across the horror shoulder, as he cry out, which lead Andros and Jinga to push off the hammer and attack as well, getting a cut in themselves before they force push the horror all together sending him into a pillar in the room he slam into, making a huge dent in it.
Phonon follow up the arrows as he send one in each shoulder and legs as the 4 arrow bury themselves deep in him as he cry out in more pain before looking piss off himself.
The two guys and girls that were about to slash their weapon down onto the horror, he suddenly force pulse them away while destroying the arrows within him, as he roar out and charge out towards them.
The Horror looked upon his foes as they got back up. He then felt something wrap around his arm. He looked and saw Churi had used her whip to grab his arm. She held her ground growling at the beast who towered over them in his mortal form. He then felt arrows rain down from his back as he saw Logos charging in firing arrows at him in successive flurries. It was then followed up by a roar as he then looked and saw Phonon charging in with his sword held out at the ready.
He then snarled before tugging on Churi's whip wrapping it further around his arm. Churi didn't have enough time to respond as he then yanked hard and pulled her torts him. He then swung her torts Phonon who was forced to catch Churi but was tossed with her. He then grabbed his hammer and slammed it down to the ground hard enough to cause the room to shake. Logos lost his footing and thus was vulnerable when the Horror charged him and slammed him to the wall.
Just then Andros came in and began a flurry of attacks at the Horror who was forced to use the shaft of his weapon to block the oncoming attacks. The Horror then pushed back and jumped away from Andros who glared at his foe. "Impressive for a boy." The Horror taunted as it glared down upon Andros.
"Yeah I'd shoot an insult but I don't think we ever got your name." Andros countered as he glared at the Horror and in all honesty he did need something to call him.
"Rygar." The Horror spoke as he glared at Andros. "In the ancient past my name was lost due to failed translations but the closes translation was Rygar." Rygar said as he glared at the Horror.
"Well then Rygar." Andros began as he glared at his foe. "We will cut away your Inga." Andros said as he was ready to bring this Horror down.
"You will try." Rygar said showing he was not backing down from this challenge.
"Jinga!" Andros called out and thus Rygar looked and saw Jinga coming in with his gauntlet glowing once more. Rygar then had a large claw gash on his body from Jinga's attack as the Shining Shadow Knight rejoined Andros. Thus the four Makai Knights began to regroup as Logos, Andros, Phonon, and Jinga all glared down upon the ancient Horror.
In turn it became a four on one battle as the four Makai Knights took on the Horror head on. Slashes, punches, and kicks were sent out as the Horror managed to face them all without struggle. Rygar was powerful in his own right as he took them all on without breaking a sweat do doubt needing to catch his wind before. Just then the four Makai Knights jumped back allowing Churi to join in as she sent out many tags on staves and in turn they each stabbed into the ground around them.
Once this happened they all glowed as the four Jedi jumped in as well. The Staves created a borderline of sorts to keep the Horror trapped inside. Once the line was made the four Jedi swung their lightsabers upon the Horror who blocked them all with ease. He then pushed them back and spun his weapon about keeping them at bay from the hammers spikes or hook. Once this happened Churi whistled to get everyone's attention. They all looked and saw her make a hand sign which was their que to move. The four Jedi left the circle and thus Churi clapped her hands together.
Rygar was then crushed by the barrier as it wasn't only made to keep him in but also crush him. When this happened he channeled the force to counteract the attack but as he did so the conflicting forces created an explosion. It then resulted to a smokescreen of sorts as they all got ready for the worse. But just before they could move Rygar charged out and went straight for Ahsoka. Ahsoka had no time to respond as she was then grabbed and pinned to the wall.
"I can sense them on you... I can smell them on you." Rygar said as he looked to Ahsoka. "My elder half-siblings I can sense their power through you." Rygar said as he looked down upon Ahsoka.
"Get away from her you Horror!" Andros called out as the Garoken was drawn with his lightsaber as well. Andros jumped over the Horror so to avoid it using Ahsoka as a human shield and thus wrapped his arms around its neck from the back. Rygar began to grab Andros dropping Ahsoka as he tried to get the Golden Knight off his back. The battle progressed as he tried to force Andros off his back. Just then Andros released the Horror only for Churi to fire a bolt attack from her Madou Brush getting the Horror's attention.
Churi pointed downwards with a grin on her face as Rygar looked down and saw a grenade that rolled at his feet, no doubt the same one from the citadel mission that were never used and she keep one or two of them, as it beeps and blew up, sending the horror flying across near the center of the room, smoking a bit with any remaining clothing he had now ruin as he tries to stand.
Everyone charge in and surrounded the horror before he could recover, as Ahsoka throw her small lightsaber at Rygar leg from making him fall down to his knees.
Phonon grab some arrows that out and around on the ground and fire two of them into the horror's hand to keep him pin him down as he cry out in pain, with Churi use her whip weapon and whip it around the horror's neck and held him in place, but it wasn't enough as he rip his hand off the arrows and stood up as he was about to grab Churi whip around his neck, but the Makai priestess knew better as she reel it back making the horror grab nothing but himself.
Soon enough everyone surround the horror with their weapon pointed at him, even Phonon who stood in front of him had another arrow drawn pointed at the horror and aimed it at its head to make him think twice of attacking or use a force ability.
Rygar looked at all the Jedi and Makai members surrounding him as it seem they gotten him corner with Andros said, "I told you we'll cut down your Inga, one way or another."
"Foolish warriors of the Makai and Jedi Order, you think surrounding me would make me easy prey?" Rygar said as Anakin said to him, "We have you outnumber and out match, what else can you do?"
Rygar just growl as it became more inhuman as the horror as his body started changing as the group slowly backed away as Rygar being grew, ripping apart all the clothing he had left, his skin was being stretch out very disturbingly before he roar out and soon his skin inflated like a balloon before exploding with a great aura surrounding him that send everyone back flying.
The Jedi landed hard when they were thrown back by the force of the horror transformation, and the Makai members ether catch themselves and landed on their feet, roll to their knees softly, or feel on their butt while landing something very sharp as Logos cry out and stood up as he reach behind and pull what he landed on with a tearing sound heard to find the his Makai blade with the saw side of it had a bit of cloth on it as he said, "That the last time I'm putting you back there."
With Obi-wan recover from the suddenly explosion force that made him go flying, he soon look to his former apprentices as he give him a look and said, "You had to asked, did you?"
Everyone else soon recover as well as Andros help Ahsoka up as he asked, "Are you alright?"
"I've been better," Ahsoka said as she gotten to her feet as Andros hear the growl of a horror as he turn towards the center of the room where the horror stood, surrounding the area a white mist or dust cover the area, until the swipe of a claw is seen reviling the horror true form as it was a mighty wolf like beast.
"I think it time we'll handling this from here now," Andros said as he step forth calling forth his sword and saber with the force, with Jinga walk forth with his weapon as well, Phonon step up with his bow in hand still, and Logos with his Makai blade as he whipped out his blade of his bit of pants that was rip off, and Churi ready herself for the big fight.
The Jedi step away as they let the member of the Makai order take over the fight from here on out as they surround the horror in a 5 point pattern, as Rygar eyes.
Soon enough everyone held out their weapon and summon forth their armor, as Andros raise his sword into the air and cut a golden circle, Phonon spin his bow around on both side of him as two light blue circle came forth while he removed his glasses, Logos extended his blade from a dagger to a Scimitar sword before he slammed it onto the ground and cut open a red circle around himself on the ground, and finally Jinga procced to cut a red circle above before trailing down below cutting a blue circle below himself before they connected to each other by the two streams that follow Jinga sword.
Suddenly the room was filled with bright colorful lights as all circle open a portal and summon forth the Makai Armor as they engulf the four knights now standing in their place.
Garo the Golden knight as he stood there with both of his weapon In hand, Gai the Sky bow knight as he stood ready with his bow as he seem to break and held both halves with blades on the shafts, Zen the Flame Sword Knight stood ready with his sword as a light flame dance across his blade before it vanishes, and Roze the Shining Shadow Knight stood ready with both of his weapon, with his lightsaber also change as it was a large purple blade with a black center.
The Four Makai Knights then roared in challenge as they charged at Rygar swinging their weapons at him. When they did so the Horror stopped them with his arms alone glaring at the four Makai Knights. The Horror knocked them all back but Gai was ready as he had multiple arrows all notched up at is foe. He fired them all off using his foot to help as he notched up multiple arrows.
The Arrows flew at the Horror who saw it and was hit by them. When they did so Zen jumped in and slashed at the Horrors back causing it pain before Garo and Roze came in. The Two Makai Knights charged at Rygar before swinging their swords at him to which he growled and roared out in fury. The Arrows stabbed into him flew out as the other two Makai Knights were knocked back. Churi of course saw it coming and thus used her whips to grab them and form up a barrier. Garo and Roze meanwhile used the Force to form a shield to block the blast coming at them.
The Jedi following their example used the Force to do the same as well as Churi saw it. Once it died down Churi acted and threw something to the four Jedi once freeing Zen and Gai. "Catch!" Churi called out to which she opened a case to reveal Madou Tools. Once the four grabbed them Anakin saw a blade shoot out of the hilt as with the others. "Those are on loan prototypes I've been working on! Don't break them!" Churi called out as Ahsoka had two in her hand.
"Thank you my young friend this should even the fields." Obi-Wan said as he looked at the weapon.
AS the Four Makai Knights did battle with the Horror it was clear they were still a bit outmatched against this demonic foe as they hacked and slashed while Gai kept his distance firing arrows as needed. But even when Zen went for the head it was clear the harm was causing the Horror to grow angrier by the second. Thus with a mighty roar Rygar roared in fury and blasted the Four Knights back. Gai hit a pillar while Zen rolled on the ground. Garo landed in the wall while Roze stabbed his sword to the ground to stop himself. Just then Rygar was caught off guard when the Four Jedi joined in the fight causing him to cry out in pain.
"What?!" Rygar called out in shock when he saw this.
"It works!" Churi called out causing Barriss to go wide eyed with Ahsoka when she said this.
The Horror forced them back but Anakin and Obi-Wan then Force pushed the Horror away causing him to dig his claws to the ground to stop himself. In doing so Anakin admired the borrowed weapon with a smirk on his face. "Most impressive." Anakin confessed as he saw the weapon in question.
"Heads up!" Zen called out as he jumped over the Jedi. He spun in the air and proceeded with a flurry of fast attacks upon the Horror who used its arms to deflect and block the attacks. While this happened Gai game in and fired two arrows at the Horrors knees before charging in. He then jumped over the Horror and fired multiple arrows while midair. The Arrows that hit the Horrors knees caused it to buckle allowing Zen an opening to slash at it. Following up the Horror used its arms to block Gai's arrows and kicked Zen back only for Garo and Roze to jump in accompanied by Ahsoka and Barriss respectfully. Garo grinded his saber and the Garoken on the ground before he slashed down upon the Horror. Rygar rolled over back to his feet and in turn had to block a flurry of attacks from Barriss and Roze. Clearly the tides were turning in favor of the light as when Roze and Barriss pulled off Garo and Ahsoka went back in begin a flurry of attack all their own.
The Horror was being forced back as when those two pulled back Gai and Obi-Wan came in next attacking the Horror. Clearly a formula had formed for when those two pulled back Zen and Anakin took their place. As Rygar was forced to the center of the room he grinded his teeth before roaring out sending a force blast around him. The result were these large pillars rising up around him which began to fuel him with power causing the group to go wide eyed.
He then managed to knock the group back forcing them back on the defensive when Obi-Wan and Churi looked to the pillars. "We must destroy those pillars!" Obi-Wan called out as Churi then spoke up.
"Otherwise they'll just keep healing and juicing this bastard!" Churi joined in to which they all got the memo.
"We'll keep him busy!" Roze called out as he and Garo got ready for the climax of this battle.
"You all get those pillars!" Garo called out as he and Roze would act as decoy's to keep the Horror focused away from the others.
"Will do," Obi-wan said as he, Anakin, Ahsoka, Barriss, the remaining Makai knight and Churi went to the different pillars and try to take them out as Garo and Roze charged at the horror together with Garo leaping at it first to cause it Rygar to focus on him as he block Garo's many slashes that came.
(Gai)
Gai came running up to his pillar as he leap into the air and rapid fire many arrows into it as sparks flew and parts other pillar chip away before Gai came in and break his bow, and swinging them at the pillar with the bow string help extend his reach fast and strike the pillar breaking it apart with the arrow helped making weak spots to make it so.
Gai drop down to a knee before swinging the other half of his Bow back to his hand before putting the two half together again as he said, "That should do it, I just hope will weaken that horror."
(The fight)
Garo keep up his strike as Rygar soon counter with a strike of his own, but Garo leap back away dodging the counter while Roze jump in while bumping Garo's hand with his own, tagging in as he fight the horror as well, rushing attack as he ran by, and quickly turn around to do so again.
(Obi-wan)
Obi-wan reach his pillar as he pull out his lightsaber and use the madou prototype weapon Churi made and stab into the pillar while dragging them all around the pillar with melted point of it soon made it collapse and fallen down breaking apart upon the impacted of the floor.
(The battle)
Rygar picked up on Roze attacks as he dodge the Shining Shadow Knight attack unaware that lead him into a strike zone for Garo as he came in and double kick the horror in its face and sent him to the ground.
Garo landed on his feet and raise his weapon and charged at the horror, with Rygar quickly recover and gotten out of the way of Garo's attack, and about to strike him but Garo spin on his heel and cut away the horror's hand making it pull away while held its hand up in pain.
(Zen)
Zen rush his pillar as he scrap his hand across his sword igniting it in flames, as his pillar came into his range, he leap up towards it with his sword held in both hands over his head and cut it down in the middle , the flames seem to have ignited the pillar as well before it split apart.
Zen turn around towards the destroy pillar and said, "What a pain, I hope there are some cute girl on Coruscant after this mission."
(The battle)
Garo rush the horror, as they clash time and time again as Rygar soon force push Garo away, he was thrown back by the force itself before he was rolled on the ground before he gotten to his knees and stab his swords into the ground to make him stop, before he came to a halt before hitting the wall
Rygar was about to hit Garo with the force again, Roze came in leaping into the air and twirl with his weapons in hand and cut into his face, quickly as it heal up, Rygar still roar out as he went after Roze and strike him with his weapon but missed and crack the ground where Roze once was.
(Anakin)
As Jedi knight came up to his pillar he didn't use his lightsaber or the madou saber Churi given him, but call upon the force and made it move, as crack form all around it, with one huge crack form at the base of it before it rip on through, with the pillar tilting forward before it slam down hard, but he wasn't done just yet.
As Anakin force lift the remain of the pillar and sent it over at the horror seeing if he can help out just a bit, as it smash the horror over it head, it barely did much but it did enough to catch Rygar's attention before being blindsided by Garo as he manage to cut off one of its arms, as it cry out in pain.
(The battle)
The horror back away as it just lost one of its arms as Garo said, "You can't win this Rygar, you cannot defeat us."
"It's time we bring this battle to an end horror as by the order of the Makai order, you are to be cut down and seal away," Roze said as he held up his arm showing the gauntlet as it seem he is ready himself to seal the horror away but Rygar gotten upset by this as he said, "I will not stand here and let you take me while I still draw my breath, I will not be beaten by the likes of you!"
Rygar unleashed a huge wave of the force, as everyone brace themselves against, and suddenly the few remaining pillar seem to go into an overdrive as they sent out a higher output of power that flows into Rygar, as his arm suddenly regrew itself from bones, to the flesh that cover it while it steam out.
Garo looked at this and knew if this keep up, they may not survive for very long, and they only have barely enough time to do it as he said, "Let move Jinga before he get a chance!"
"Wait Andros!" Roze said as he watch Garo leap in the air as he held his swords above him and try to cut down the horror, but remaining pillars around giving him a boost not only in power but speed as well when Rygar suddenly vanish out of site for him as suddenly before reappearing beside Garo as he was smack and sent flying, hitting into a wall as Garo gasp out in pain.
(Ahsoka)
Ahsoka stop when she heard that and turn to see Garo coming down from the wall and kneeling, looking like he was in pain, as much she wanted to help him… she just couldn't unless those pillars were gone.
She look towards her pillar with a good motivation as she knew she had to destroy that pillar one way or another as she took out her lightsabers and throw them at the pillar while pulling out the madou sabers and did the same as well.
The lightsabers cut a bit into the pillar before they came back to Ahsoka with the madou sabers did the same thing with Ahsoka went on throwing all of her sabers at the pillar time after time as she keep on running at it before she reach it.
When she did, she gather up as much force she can and force pulse the pillar, destroying it with the many cuts it received, with the flow of energy suddenly stopped.
(The battle)
The horror felt another pillar was gone, and was down to his last one, and knew if all of his pillar were destroy, then he will helpless, as he stop fighting and look towards the last pillar which was on the far side of the room and saw a certain green skin Jedi going for it as she knew her weapon, about to destroy the last pillar.
The horror roar as it raise its free hand, calling upon the force, to not only stop Barriss from reaching his last pillar but to draw her into his hand.
Before Barriss could make her move she felt a powerful pull breaking past her defenses and dragging her in. She then found herself in the grip of this Horror before he slammed her about causing her great pain in the result. He then grabbed her with his free arm clearly angry and began to take a stab at bending her. Barriss cried out in pain and agony causing Jinga to go wide eyed to this under the Roze armor.
"Barriss!" Jinga called out before rage overtook him as he lighting began to form between his fingers. Roze then grinded his sword against his hand showing the lighting forming on it and lighting his madou flame.
Garo seeing this went wide eyed and went to stop Roze. "Jinga stop!" Garo called out but it was too late as Roze then fired Force Lightning from his hand at Rygar. Rygar was hit by it as the Force Lightning was mixed together with his Madou flame caused the Horror great pain forcing him to drop Barriss who rolled on the ground. The Jedi were wide eyed at this as they saw Roze no they saw Jinga using a Sith ability as even Barriss was shocked by this. Rygar was forced to his knees before Roze charged at him clearly enraged. Once he was close enough Roze grabbed Rygar's hammer and proceeded to smash him with it. Roze kept the onslaught up a few more swings before the hammer broke off the pommel. Of course when it did the Horror was smashed into the last pillar destroying it as the result.
Rygar of course managed to get back on his feet while glaring at Roze who wasn't done just yet. Roze then charged in and flipped the hammer's shaft so it the broken part was on the opposing side. He then jumped up and before the Horror could respond found the spiked of the broken weapon stabbed into his eye causing him great pain as the result. Roze didn't end it there as he then flipped the Horror over to the center of the room using the staff as part of the momentum.
When Rygar hit the ground he cried out in agony when Roze fired of more Force Lightning at him no doubt wanting to make him suffer. It wasn't until Garo jumped in and stabbed the Horror in the back before using his Garoken to pull him up. "Jinga!" Garo called out and thus Roze was ready. He charged in and sliced through the Horror's midsection ending its life once and for all. Rygar roared in pain to this before it devolved into laughter. His laughter left a chill in the air as it was clear the Horror died but by doing so began to countdown for his mother's release.
He then turned into dust which entered Roze's sword while a red orb of shadows remained. When the armors were retracted reverting the Knights to their civilian forms the red orb flew at Jinga before he could react. When the orb entered Jinga he cried out in pain to this as the gauntlet absorbed its power and adding the power to Jinga. Jinga cried out in pain to it as the power flowed through him before it burst out leaving him stumbling on the ground.
In turn the room began to grow dim for a moment before it began to convert parts of it. IT wasn't anything noteworthy just a small platform or alter of sorts that rose from the ground getting everyone's attention. Following it up a large timer in the Makai Language appeared and began the countdown to the seal breaking.
"Kriff." Andros cursed when he saw this as did the others.
"I'm assuming that thing wasn't lying then." Obi-Wan said to which Anakin saw this as well.
"No it was not." Andros confirmed to which they all knew things just got a lot more complicated for them.
"Come one we need to get out of here now." Ahsoka said to which they all agreed on this. They should get out before anything else happens.
(Scene Break Gold Storm)
The group was once more in the ship after dropping off Barriss with Luminara's fleet. As they were in the ship Andros had it on autopilot seeing as Anakin and Obi-Wan wanted to talk to Andros about Jinga. "Ok before we lose our heads I know what this is about." Andros said as he opted to let Jinga rest in his quarters after he lost control like that.
"Yes that was a Dark Side technique favored by the Sith." Obi-Wan said as he looked to Andros. "And for a moment I sense him dive into the Dark Side not once but twice back there." Obi-Wan said to which Andros sighed.
"Trust me it's something he's not proud of." Andros confessed as he sat with the group. "Plus the last time this happened I asked him some of the same questions you guys probably have and he didn't want to answer it, in fact it's a very sore subject for him." Andros explained as he looked to the two Jedi.
"It's more than that." Zaruba spoke up getting everyone's attention. "Jinga is unique and I have reason to believe he may be a hybrid of two species human being obvious enough and a species known for a long life span." Zaruba explained getting everyone's attention. "The last time we saw Jinga he looked barely older than he does now, in fact it seems for every ten years of our lives only one year would physically pass for us." Zaruba said detailing some of Jinga's past as best he could. "I have reason to believe that wherever he got some of these... traits had to have been from his bloodline." Zaruba said as Andros then cut in.
"Look when he wants to talk about it I say we let him but until then we let it be unless it's something we need to know that is." Andros said having enough respect for his friend to not go snooping for secrets he had no business in. "All I really know is that whatever it was that bothers him about it, causes him great pain." Andros said as he could all but feel it through the Force.
(With Jinga)
Jinga was in his quarters taking over one of the beds there as he was on his back. He already unpacked what he needed for the voyage and in turn opted to relax as he looked something over. IN his hand was a glowing red pyramid like object as he gave it a dark glare for he knew what it was. It was a Sith Holocron one he had held on to ever since that day of the incident. It wasn't his originally it belonged to someone else to whom he pilfered it from when he left. His reason was to keep it out of the wrong hands which was both the original owners and the Jedi Order.
As he laid there he then began to picture Barriss as for some reason he felt himself drawn to her. HE then looked to the Holocron tempted to open it as he almost gave in before stopping himself. He left that possible life behind he wasn't planning on returning to it any time if ever at all. As he tried to focus on other things he had no idea that Barriss thoughts were also of Jinga.

Barriss was alone in her private quarters meditating as she tried to clear her thoughts of the things she had learned. She tried to not let her fear that any one of them could be a Horror cloud her. But as she did that Jinga became a prominent thought in her thoughts. Barriss ignored it as best she could reminding herself the Jedi Code prohibited attachments like that. But the more she tried to ignore it the more it kept rearing its head. But with those thoughts Amily appeared many times over as the fallen priestess claims made her shudder. She refused to believe Amily was her 'past self,' because if that was true Jinga would be in danger around her.
But as she meditated the more she tried to reject the bond the more it tried to connect. IT was clear this bond this attachment would not be silenced so easily no doubt Amily's doing in some form. Regardless as Barriss tried to deny herself this attachment a stray thought began to move of possibly accepting that attachment of a possible life with Jinga. That stray was what Amily would use from within Barriss to make so her desire the true return of her beloved Jinga.
The Force works in mysterious ways and as things continue to change so to do the lives of those involved. Despite this group of friends finally being reunited the Force has a hand to play itself. Only time will tell how those who fight for the light and the dark shall respond to this change.
