Garo Conquest of Makai
ESKK: Well here we go another filler chapter let's begin folks.
(Start Jedi Temple Coruscant)
After the mission and the eventual return Obi-Wan was in a private meeting with Mace Windu and Yoda informing them what he had learned. "So these tombs are linked to each other via a more powerful Horror." Mace said as he heard what the said. "An ancient one born as a servant to the ones." Mace said to this while Yoda understood the danger.
"Most troubling this is. Great danger to the galaxy this poses." Yoda said as he looked to the group.
"Which is why it makes no sense why Jinga felt it best to include a newly minted Knight on this." Mace said as he was no doubt scolding to Obi-Wan.
"The damage was already done and her aid was greatly needed in the tomb." Obi-Wan said to which Yoda understood.
"Powerful allies needed yes but exploit more weaknesses our enemy may." Yoda said pointing his cane to Obi-Wan.
"And what of Padawan Tano and her, connection to the Ones?" Mace asked to which Obi-Wan knew they needed to hear this.
"She hasn't been forth coming with anything on this either because of how little she knows or what she does know." Obi-Wan said as he already informed them how the tomb was found with Ahsoka using the Dark Side which from how Zaruba described it was simply misunderstood.
"Difficult to locate the tomb was. Risky how to locate it is." Yoda confessed knowing this happy that Zaruba was there to guide her through the ordeal. "But the one called Jinga much in him I sense." Yoda said as he then closed his eyes in thought. "Much anger, much fear, and something more." Yoda said as Obi-Wan noted this. "Running from something he is I sense. Something close and something ancient to him and to us it is." Yoda detailed as this made Obi-Wan wonder what Jinga was hiding exactly.
"Should we be worried?" Mace asked as this was cause for concern here.
"No observe we shall. No danger yet seen." Yoda said as Obi-Wan was relieved to hear that. But it still made him question what Jinga was hiding away. As the two Jedi Masters began to take their leave Yoda decided to acknowledge the Rancor in the room. "A moment Master Kenobi." Yoda said to which Obi-Wan stopped and re-entered to speak with Yoda. "Your request to take a Padawan to discuss it I wish." Yoda said as Obi-Wan nodded and sat down.
"Is there a problem Master Yoda?" Obi-Wan asked with concern for this.
"None at all. Curious adamant you were of taking a new Padawan." Yoda said as he looked to Obi-Wan. "Changed now why?" Yoda asked to which Obi-Wan smiled a bit.
"As I had told Anakin back on Christophis when we first met Ahsoka, teaching is a privilege and its part of a Jedi's responsibility to help train the next generation." Obi-Wan said but Yoda wanted more.
"Yes but her specifically why?" Yoda asked honestly curious to which Obi-Wan understood why he wanted to know.
"I believe the Force guided me to her though indirectly it seems." Obi-Wan said as he was most curious about it himself. Perhaps it was repentance for the Jedi against the Makai after the Jedi took her as one of their own. Or maybe it was because the Force put Andros in his path to go on to teach her despite the two being siblings. He didn't know but for Obi-Wan it was just a feeling was all.
"Very well your apprentice the girl will be." Yoda said most curious as to how this new apprentice of Obi-Wan's shall fair against the Horrors. Obi-Wan meanwhile only hoped he was making the right choice here and hopefully Andros doesn't lose his control either.
(Meanwhile with Jinga and Logos)
Jinga and Logos walked up to the Watchdog as she sat upon her throne before Jinga owed to her. Logos was admiring her looks only to find Jinga grabbing his head via the Force to make him bow. "Flame Sword Knight Zen, Shining Shadow Knight Roze I see you both made it back." The Watchdog said as she looked down on the two who stood back up.
"Yes and we have news to report on the tomb." Jinga said as he looked to her.
"Then speak." Velina ordered as she looked upon them.
"We encountered an ancient Horror guarding the tomb a Fallen Knight in fact but it wasn't like most others. The Horror was seemingly standing sentinel over the tomb in our mission we cut it down despite the warning it gave us and thus a timer began to the unsealing of possibly an even more powerful Horror." Jinga reported to which Velina grew concerned to this. "The tombs were made as part of one powerful superweapon that this Horror had utilized, the tomb is dormant but the timer had begun making it top priority to locate the other two." Jinga said to which Velina looked to him.
"How long do we have?" Velina asked to which Alva spoke up.
"Judging by the timer a year and a half at the bar minimum." Alva said meaning they had plenty of time if that was a rough estimate. "But we best take head if we slay the other Horrors who stand Sentinel the time may accelerate." Alva said and in turn Velina understood how dire this was.
"Very well then you two shall serve as part of the hunting team to locate the tombs as well as reporting to me for assignment during your time on Coruscant." Velina ordered to which Jinga and Logos nodded. "And Zen." Velina began as she glared at the pervert. "You are to keep at your best behavior otherwise I will use my connection to send you to a place that makes Jakku look tame in comparison." Velina warned as she did not need Logos to go on one of his jaunts that caused that huge incident again.
"Got it." Logos said as he did not want to get on the Watchdog's bad side.
"Jinga keep sentinel of him." Velina ordered causing Logos to yell his disagreement while Jinga nodded. "Now go." Velina ordered and thus the two took their leave while Logos grumbled all the way.
(Meanwhile with Churi)
Churi was at the Jedi Temple on a table with off duty Clones and workers gambling. "Sorry boys you lose again." Churi said as she took the pot as a Clone slammed his cards on the table while a temple worker was shocked by this.
"How does she do this?" The Clone asked clearly not getting the memo not to gamble with Churi.
"I have my ways." Churi said with a smirk on her face before a new voice was heard.
"How did you get back in here?" Mace Windu asked to which Churi saw him and smiled not at all bothered. After the last time she snuck in her for a booty call Mace made it clear Churi was not to be in the temple without a message from Velina or an escort at all times if Andros was here.
"Please I sneak in here all the time your band wouldn't keep me out." Churi said to which Mace looked to the Clone and Workers who didn't report this. "So Master Jedi wanna play? I can deal you in." Churi offered but the Clone stopped him.
"General Windu don't in five turns she'll all but own the temple." The Clone warned to which Mace then sighed in frustration.
"Trooper keep her under your close watch." Mace said as he needed to find Churi's secret passages that gets her in the temple undetected.
"Yes General." The Clone said as Churi then grinned a sinister grin to this.
"So... I have a voyeur." Churi teased to which the Clone realized he was not going to have a good time here.
(Scene Break over with Barriss)
Barriss was in her private quarters as she was meditating at the moment. As she focused to tune her connection to the Force she heard a knock on her door causing the Jedi Knight to pause for a moment. "Enter." Barriss responded before the door opened revealing a pair of Temple Guards on the other side.
"Jedi Knight Barriss Offee." The Guard spoke as he stepped aside to allow Jinga to be seen. "The Council wishes for you to escort our new guest here around the temple." The Guard said making Barriss surprised when she saw Jinga here.
"Of course." Barriss said as she stood up to perform the assigned task of her. The guards nodded and took their leave and thus only Barriss and Jinga were left there.
"So." Jinga began as he looked to Barriss. "Care to show me the mess hall, training hall, the archives, or the meditation room?" Jinga asked as he looked to Barriss who agreed none the less.
(Later)
Jinga found himself in the archives with Barriss as he was reading up on information involving Illum and cross-referencing them with the Makai's data on it and the tomb. As he did this he was leaned back on his seat with his hand holding his resting head by his forehead while he read. He was calm and collected about it while Barriss saw this as well helping him as best she could within reason.
Barriss kept staring at Jinga who was carefully reading the data while highlighting spots of note on it as Barriss kept herself calm while reading on her own... or at least trying to at the very least. As Jinga was reading his eyes then went to Barriss causing her to quickly return to her own reading so she wouldn't be noticed.
"If you're going to keep staring you might as well start talking." Jinga said causing Barriss to yelp a bit realizing she was caught.
"Sorry I didn't mean to be rude." Barriss apologized as she but her data pad down as Jinga then sighed.
"Well seeing as I got enough work done for the time being let's talk." Jinga said as he looked to Barriss who nodded. "Now Barriss I know the last mission shook your whole Galaxy but the staring thing is adding a bit to my already existing frustration." Jinga said as he looked to Barriss.
"Sorry it's... wait frustrations?" Barriss asked assuming he meant Logos.
"It involves you but not your actions if that is what you mean." Jinga said as he looked to Barriss.
"Well it's just... you seem familiar to me annoyingly so like a memory I know is there but for the life of me cannot draw upon it." Barriss explained as she looked to Jinga. "It's like this isn't the first time we met despite it in fact being so." Barriss explained as she looked to Jinga.
"I know the feeling." Jinga said as he had to agree with Barriss on this. "I look at you and I'm reminded of a place and event I have no recollection of yet seems familiar to me." Jinga said as he looked on to Barriss. "Sometimes I find myself in the thick of it for a brief moment other times I'm walking a path. I can't get a clear image of it but all I know is that they show up when I'm around you." Jinga said as he looked to Barriss. "It's annoyingly frustrating for me." Jinga said keeping level headed knowing how it would affect his connection to the Force.
"I can see that." Barriss said as she could sense the frustration from Jinga as well.
"But it not the only annoyance I face," Jinga said as he look Barriss in her eyes and said, "When I'm near you I feel something… something that makes me happy… something that keep my mind at ease as well, being a light I thought I lost, but when I'm alone… when everyone else is gone… when you are gone… I can barely think at times"
Barriss is surprise what Jinga is saying as he went on saying, "Before you came, before anyone, I felt nothing but emptiness, an abyss, a void I cannot fill with food, fun, training, or laughter. As little by little… it just feel like I am just losing myself to that same dark place… and when I meet my friends they help me by bringing light into my world… but shadows still surrounded me now, and the darkness hidden in mine."
"Then… how do I come into this?" Barriss asked as she was curious of how she could have effected Jinga in some way as Jinga turn and looked away and stay silent for a bit as he give a small sigh and said, "If my friends are my stars… then you are my light, the sun in my sky that makes the darkness less."
Barriss is surprise by this as she didn't think she could have affect him that much then Jinga had a scared look in his eyes as he said, "And then I soon discover something about myself, something more than the darkness."
Jinga walk slowly towards her and Barriss didn't move at all, but she brace herself of what could come as Jinga went on saying, "I found out without that light… without you then those stars in the sky would be nothing more than false hope as the shadows will overtake, with my heart swallowed by the darkness as I would become the darkness itself."
Jinga now standing so close to Barriss, she felt his present being stronger than ever as he went on saying, "When I think of you here, it becomes something I feel happy, as I feel I would do anything you would ask of me and I would do it… but to the thought of you gone… I feel hollow, empty, with my breath taken away that leave me unable to breath at all, unable to close my eyes to sleep to the fear my shadows would overtake me anytime in this state of fear… I am powerless to it."
Barriss feels… guilty, she didn't mean to make him feel this way, and she knew it wasn't some ploy of some sort to drop her guard to maybe keep silent of what happen in the tombs, no his emotion… she can see it in his eyes as he soon said to her, "Do you understand what I am saying?"
"I do… and I do understand what your feeling," Barriss said as she looked down and away, rubbing one of her arms and said, "I do feel something… something I'm not supposed to, but I do."
Jinga relax a bit sensing Barriss was telling the truth, as she turns away from him and said, "Ever sense we have meet, I felt this feeling. I try to suppress it, remember my training and the Jedi code… but it seem it be getting harder and painful to do so… because no matter how hard I try hide it… it's just rushes out of me like water in a river, no matter how hard I try the feeling just grows and not just because of what I feel for you."
"Then why?" Jinga question as he wonder why Barriss is so conflicted with herself as Barriss turn towards him and said, "Because of this war! What we Jedi are doing! I thought we were supposed to be peace keepers, be guardian of the people but instead we go off and fight battles like we are nothing but weapons to be used…. Before the war I was just happy with the way things were… I thought things could be different for the Jedi… but it seems we're just doom to repeat our mistakes."
"What are you saying?" Jinga said as Barriss look to the archives and said, "I read many history of the Jedi… thinking I could learn so much more by understanding what the Jedi of the past have achieved… but it seem we're no different from the Jedi of the past. Fight in wars, taken children away from their families, turning a blind eye to the helpless when we should be helping them… I even found some old logs of past Jedi saying how much they regretted the things they did to others… of women… children. They left many to die so they could survive destructions of worlds."
Jinga understand what she is meaning, a war can change a person, and they can change people ways of things, the way of life, and the way of living… as the only thing that never change is War… as War never changes.
The Makai order had to change themselves as well, but they also stick with their beliefs, by hunting horror, saving people, help give hope to those who are living in dark times and with knights like Andros are truly the ones that could save many lives while risking everything including their lives, and done so again and again to prove there is still hope, and that hope will bring miracles to those who needs it.
"I understand what you mean… sometimes surviving something you would have died from like others have… would be the ultimate regret," Jinga said as Barriss looked at him in surprise of what he said as he went on saying, "I understand that pain quiet well. It hurts me as well, some of my old friends of the past died trying to protect me, and make sure all their deaths wasn't in vain… as I cut down the very things that killed them, so no others would share the same fate like them and me, and to make sure I don't make the same mistake before I try to get stronger anyway I can without losing myself of becoming the very thing I hated most… even with slips up or flaring, I still keep trying."
Barriss nods a she understand Jinga a bit more as war does much to a person as trying to stay being yourself would be impossible because you are force to change yourself, to survive, or to be stronger, nothing can stop change.
"I feel the same, as I feel and fear… the Jedi code cannot hold the Jedi order together for much long, even though I still try to believe in it, but it seem everything is just slowly falling into ruins, in a way I just wish someone would just save me from it," Barriss said as she felt a hand on her shoulder as she suddenly looks up at Jinga. When their eyes locked on to each other… the bond between them has grown even stronger than before as Barriss came closer to Jinga as his arms wrap around her as they soon lean in towards each other.
But as they stayed close Barriss closed her eyes for a moment... that moment was all that was needed as when she did she saw Amily in the shadows who then smiled sinisterly. Barriss began to notice fast that Amily's eyes had changed color to become more like that of a Sith and in turn Barriss opened her eyes again. Barriss shot up surprising Jinga as she then looked to him apologetically in this regard.
"I'm sorry about that." Barriss said as she looked to Jinga who understood enough that she was a Jedi.
"It's ok." Jinga said as he stood up as well. "It's just nice to have someone to talk to." Jinga confessed sounding a tad bit lonely in that regard. As they two stood together Jinga continued to speak. "Maybe we should take a small tour of the Temple." Jinga said as he looked to Barriss who nodded in agreement on this.
"Yes of course." Barriss said as the two began to walk off together. But as they walked Jinga walked by a reflective surface and for a moment he saw the other Jinga there. But when he went wide eyed the reflection was only his normal visage calming him down in that regard.
(Andros)
The Young Makai knight went through the Makai path to reach the hidden tower as only few way to reaching it by the Makai path or great travels to reach it, as he came forth from the path, ended up in a peaceful forest area with a purity that made it so no being of the dark would dare step foot into these sacred lands. This sacred light could destroy them and their darkness with ease. It was clear he was no longer on Coruscant from all the plant life around and the clear sky above.
Coming to a path as which Andros walks on, ahead he saw a tower reaching to the sky, with vines and other plant life surrounding it with the door into the tower itself. The tower opened with the vines moving out of the way, and the door itself opens with a light shining through, as the tower sensing the current wielder of the power of the Golden Knight.
(Inside)
The line of statues from the ground floor to the top of the tower in a spiral, as Andros reach the center of the tower.
Andros stood in the center of the tower as he was ready for the cleansing. The symbol of Garo on the ceiling opened up revealing light as a voice soon was made known. "WE ARE THOSE WHO HATH RECIEVED THE TITLE OF GARO. ART THOUGH READY TO BE BATHED IN LIGHT?" The Garo's of passed boomed as Andros looked.
"Yes." Andros said as when he did light shined down upon him as the floor began to spin.
"RIGHT NOW... THE JAKI IN THY BODY... AS WELL AS THE INGA ARE DISAPPEARING." The Garo's said as they were removing the Jaki within Andros.
"I have a question." Andros said as he looked to the legendary warriors who had all wielded the power of Garo.
"THEN SPEAK YOUNG ONE!" The past Garo's called out to Andros as he looked upon them.
"The ones as I'm sure you're aware the Ones were killed resulting in three ancient tombs being awoken from slumber. One of the Jedi a Padawan named Ahsoka Tano was infused with the essence of the Son and the Daughter the Daughter did so intentionally to save her while the son did so to control her both of which resulted in a small part of them existing inside her." Andros spoke as the Garo's all paid close attention to the current Golden Knight. "I think... no I know they're trying to use her to come back from oblivion in some form, I need to know if there is some method that can be used for Ahsoka to get them under control." Andros said as he looked to the other Garo's with some hope.
"WE KNOW NOT OF SUCH A METHOD." They began causing Andros to look down in regret there. "HOWEVER." They spoke getting Andros attention once more. "WE DO KNOW OF ONE WHO MAY KNOW OF THE METHOD." They spoke to which Andros looked to them.
"Who is this person?" Andros asked as he looked to the spirits with hope in his eyes.
"ONE WHO HAS LONG SINCE LEFT THIS WORLD THE PRODIGIAL KNIGHT... REVAN." The Garo's spoke making Andros' eyes go wide eyed in shock.
"Are you sure?" Andros asked with great concern not only for Ahsoka but how it will affect her. After all Revan has always been a topic of controversy among the Jedi. The Mandalorians despite Revan as much as they respect him, the Jedi believe him to be a Jedi who became a Sith, as does much of the Galaxy. But Andros and the Makai knew what Revan was, in a sense he was much like Anakin Skywalker in terms of power. Revan was the one who studied both the light and the dark and understood the aspects of both and used them without losing himself to it. To this day he is still considered to be the strongest Force User in the known Galaxy.
"YES HIS BODY MAY BE GONE BUT HIS SPIRIT LIVES ON WITHIN A HIDDEN CRYPT LOCATE THIS CRYPT AND YOU FIND THE CURE FOR AHSOKA TANO." They spoke and thus Andros knew we had a side project to work on now and that was finding where Revan's final resting place was located.
"Thank you." Andros responded with a bow grateful for the Garo's aid.
"NOW GO AND MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU." They spoke and thus Andros took his leave cleansed of the Jaki so he may continue to fight as one who protects.
(Scene Break Coruscant Phonon)
"Where did that numbskull run off to?" Phonon asked as he was in the entertainment sector of Coruscant. After Logos and Jinga had reported to the Watchdog he was assigned to keep a close eye on Logos showing he was under probation of sorts. It didn't take a genius to know Logos had run off to this sector of the planet to get laid. As Phonon walked he threw an arrow to the air with his eyes closed. When it came down he saw how it landed and thus he followed where it pointed. 9 times out of 10 it leads him to Logos he liked his odds on that one.
As Phonon walked he then saw a club that had a hologram silhouette of a twi'lek girl, and some humanoid female species. He then saw a familiar mark showing who owns this establishment and thus Phonon knew Logos was either in deep Bantha shit or he was about to be. Thus he walked in and began looking for the perverted idiot hopefully before one of the Hutts realize he's there.
(With Logos)
"And I said, "Have I done it? I was the one to make it happen" then I just drop some credit and walk out," As the Mirialan Makai Knight said while sitting in a wide seat with some dancing girls around him laugh to his story, with a white skin togruta said, "Oh what had happen afterword?"
"What happen afterword? Well let's say someone didn't really agreed with me and try to have me shot, lucky some people really have bad aim, I mean 5 feet away and they missed me by a mile," Logos said as the ladies laugh at that, as Logo went on saying, "Thankfully I had someone watching my back as well, never missed a shot and took out some of the guys before I took on the rest myself, wasn't easy as it was still like 5 to 1, but I still walk out without a scratch."
The ladies went 'awe' to that as some of the ladies gotten even closer to him with a red skin Twi'lek rubbing her hand at his chest with a looks in their eyes as Logos thought he was going to get very luck, until someone came up behind the group and said to Logos, "I should have known you would come to a place like that."
The females back away a bit as Logos turn around to see who was talking to him as he saw his friend and said, "Hey Phonon, how it been my man. Ladies this is one of the guys I talking about before, the man that never misses a shot."
"What are you doing logos?" Phonon said as Logos looked to all the females around him and said, "Oh I was looking for some fun, as a couple of these ladies call out and came here for a few drinks and they had friends. Come and join me, maybe have fun and talk to some of these gorgeous young ladies that I bet they will love getting to know you."
"I will have to decline that officer, no offense to you ladies," Phonon said In a polite way as few of the ladies went 'Ah' to that as it seem some were interest in him as Logos said, "Ah come phonon, when you are going to relax and have fun for once?"
"When I know you won't be in trouble, which is what you will be in if you don't leave this place now. It is own by the huts, and last time I remember, your still in deep trouble with them," Phonon said as he remember he and others at times had to save Logos from Hutt's bounty hunters as Logos wave his hand at him and said, "Don't be paranoid, I mean what are the chances of a Hutt will be here and know I'm here?"
Before Phonon could resort, suddenly a waitress came up and put down a special looking drink as she said, "Here's your drink Mr. Spanner."
"Wait I didn't order this," Logos said as the waitress looked at him with a smile and said, "It was order from the owner upstairs, don't keep them waiting?"
At that moment Logos eyes widen with Phonon sighed and he put his hand over his face as he knew something like this would happen, as they both knew if someone from upstairs order you a drink, it usually means someone wants to talk to them, and when the waitress said owner… they know a Hutt is there."
"Let's go before they send assassin after you," Phonon said as he was planning on going with Logos to see if he can negotiate with the Hutt somehow, with Logos frown and said, "And I was about to have some real fun."
Logos stood up and took the drink from the table after giving it a long drink before putting the cup down showing nothing was left of in the cup but the ice that was in the drink as he and Phonon soon headed up stairs and saw a few guards at a pair of doors as they walk up to it Phonon said to them, "I am here on behalf of my friend here that your boss wishes to speak with."
One guard look at the other as they did hand gestures with the other just nodded and soon they both open the doors for the two knights as they walk in and smell something almost fowl as they came face to face with a Slug Hutt as the Logos seem to recognized the Hutt with the look on his face says it all as he said, "Gardulla Besadii, it nice to see you again."
"I wish I can say the same… but I'm not happy to see you," Gardulla said angrily in Huttesse much like the rest of her species in the crime families of the Hutt Cartel. Then suddenly the door shut close behind them loudly with the same guard that stood out were now in, with other inside the office with weapon ready and armed.
The Gardulla lifted up a pipe of sort as she inhale it before letting off and blew out smoke as she soon started to say when she looked over at Phonon, "Who is this Chiss?"
"He ah…" Logos started to say as Phonon cut him off as he spoke up for himself, "I am Phonon, I am here to speak on the behalf of my friend here, as frankly I can't trust him to say the right words given his nature."
"Oh, interesting, very well then you can stay, take a seat," Gardulla as two of the guards step forth and pull up seat for them as the two knight took them with the guard pushing them in close to Gardulla with Logos seems a bit nervous and trying to avoid breathing the air around the Hutt with Phonon taking light breaths as it seem he was facing the same problem as Logos before he pull out a small container of sort that looks like its mean to goes up the nose as he said, "May I? I have a small condition."
Gardulla nodded to him as Phonon shove the container and put it up one of his nostril and press a button on it releasing something up his nose before he did the same to his other nostril and took a huge whiff. He shake his head a bit before looking normal again as it seem he not effected by the smell anymore and said, "That will do."
"Now Gardulla I gotta say you look great, you do a bit of touch up recently." Logos said trying to butter her up despite gagging inside for doing it.
"Cut the pleasantries you owe me billions in Credits." Gardulla said as she wasn't done. "And considering your stunt on Tatooine was intentional Credits alone won't get you out of what's coming." Gardulla said as Logos saw he was in a pickle.
"I'm sure whatever Logos did... we can talk this out." Phonon said as he looked to Logos.
"This bastard alone has cost me thousands in credits, he started small bought two of my slaves for the night, they not only never returned but he left behind their collars with a device to short circuit their tracking chips. After which he proceeded to break into my compound with them suggesting he was not pleased with their services only to help them break out all the other Slaves, stole not one not two but three of my prized ships, cost damage to my estate, and to top it all of he directed the Republic my way forcing me to use nearly more of my credits to get out of it." Gardulla said as Phonon heard this and glared at Logos.
"Look Gardulla it was just business I was hired by one of your enemies to do so, you know this I know this, and for a good coin I can retaliate for you." Logos said trying to lie his way out of this one.
"Yes that would be the case but you used that excuse before." Gardulla said as she then had a button pressed and thus more holograms of some of Gardulla's 'enemies,' showed up and all of whom were those Logos had ticked off.
"Wow it's like a class reunion, Marx tell Gardulla to let me go." Logos said but Marx glared at Logos.
"You can't talk your way out of this one Logos." Marx said showing he was done putting up with Logos crap.
"Everyone knows at this point you're full of Bantha crap." Another gangster said as Phonon was glaring at Logos.
"You said you ticked off the Hutts not every major gangster in the Galaxy." Phonon scolded as he even saw that Logos was in deep shit.
"So how we gonna deal with this, um I mean I'm sure I can pay you back somehow." Logos said as in turn he found a laser pistol pushed up against his head same with Phonon. "Ok I know where this is going." Logos said knowing he was dead.
"Logos when or if we get out of this... I'm going to kill you and no jury or order in the Galaxy will convict me for it." Phonon said as he wanted to strangle Logos for dragging him into this mess. Thus he proceeded to smash a smoke bomb to the ground covering the entire room in its gasses.
"Kill them!" Gardulla called out as lasers were being fired all over the room to find the two Makai Knights.
(Outside)
The window was seen broken to shards via one of Phonons arrows as the two Knights slid down the roof and over to the next building. They then got to the street and began to run for their lives. It was clear they were in deep trouble as they ran for it as Gardulla saw them.
"Find them and bring me their heads!" Gardulla yelled refusing to let those who cross her continue to make a laughing stock of her among the Criminal Underworld.
As Logos and Phonon ran for it Logos sprinted ahead to try and run. "They still following us?" Logos asked as Phonon then got in front of Phonon while getting through the crowds.
"Run now talk later!" Phonon called out as they needed to get out of their and fast. Mainly so Phonon can strangle Logos for getting them both into this mess. Long story short this pair of Makai Knights were in for a wild ride today.
(Scene Break Ahsoka)
Ahsoka was meditating at the Jedi Temple in her room as she had her eyes closed standing before a Tagruta artifact from Shili. As Ahsoka meditated she tried to banish the feelings she was forming for Andros reminding herself the Jedi Code forbade such a bond. But the act brought the Brother and Sister's voices to her mind showing they were arguing about something no doubt trying to one up the other. Ahsoka was in a bind in this regard she denies her feelings and she ends up bringing the Ones out, she blocks them out she is forced to deal with these emotions for Andros.
As she tried to focus her thoughts she knew Andros would be gone for a bit and this gave her time to get some sort of control. But a she tried to focus her frustrations with it grew making her wonder if she should have partnered up with Churi for a bodyguard as opposed to Andros. Just then her meditation was halted when a bell was heard at her door.
"Enter." Ahsoka responded and thus the door opened revealing it to be Andros. "Oh Andros." Ahsoka greeted but mentally lamented as right now he was the last person she needed to see.
"Hey Ahsoka has Jinga made progress on Illum?" Andros asked as Jinga was on study duty with Churi on Illum's tomb.
"Some but not much." Ahsoka said as she tried to avoid direct eye contact with Andros. "Personally I'm hoping we can settle this and the Clone Wars soon." Ahsoka said to which Andros agreed with her.
"Yeah same here." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka and smiled. "Any thoughts on what to do after the war?" Andros asked as Ahsoka was confused by this.
"Continue my training if I'm not a Jedi Knight by then, and help ease the Galaxy and Jedi Order back to a peaceful way." Ahsoka said as she looked to Andros smiling as well.
"Sounds reasonable and noble in the end." Andros said but when they locked eyes Ahsoka realized what was happening and turned away from him. Andros seeing this opted to investigate the problem. "But I sense that... something troubling you." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka with concern for her feeling her worries through the Force.
"No it's nothing Andros. Nothing is troubling me at all." Ahsoka lied while she continued to look away from Andros.
"Ahsoka." Andros began as he picked up something in the room and used his empath abilities on it. "You're terrible at lying." Andros confessed as he knew something was bothering Ahsoka and the fact she wasn't making eye contact gave him a theory with some proof.
Ahsoka still looks away as she couldn't respond to what Andros had said to her as he came closer to her and said to her, "Just tell me… what's wrong?"
Ahsoka turn away again with her back facing Andros, trying to build up her courage to say, "What was happening in the tombs… I thought I was ready to face anything in there, but I was wrong. I was so scared what I seen, what I felt… the dark side of the force show me something I didn't want to see, but it show me anyways, show me my true fears."
Ahsoka still remember Barago still, fresh in her mind remembering his power, his strength, his hatred that could surpass any Sith, and his promise of return.
She did think it was real at first, but the darkness that came forth from him, his eternal hatred against the bloodline of Garo threatening to kill everyone that Andros hold dear before killing him.
She not always afraid of herself failing or dying to do what needs to be done, not all the times, but to the thought of Andros in pain himself… even seen him getting hurt against Rygar that scared her as she slowly turn back around towards Andros and said, "I was scared of what I saw and seeing what happen to you… scares me most of all, and I notice how I feel for you, how warm it was being near you, how fun it was doing things with you at times… and soon enough I realize what was happening to me, to us, I thought that accidental kiss was nothing more than an accident, but it now just haunted me so."
Andros was surprise by this as Ahsoka was telling him her feelings as she went on saying, "What I feel is, I want to be with you, I want to be held in your arms again… but I know it can't happen. I am a Jedi… and you're a Makai Knight where no one knew of your existed, and it can't happen to us. Because after all this, you would leave and I just be going back to my life to train myself to be a Jedi knight and be... alone."
Andros bow his head as he understand what Ahsoka is saying, as it true as after the tombs are taken care of… he might have to leave to help with other of the remaining horror that could be still around, but it don't mean he doesn't have a choice of what he do as he looks back up at Ahsoka, seeing her looking facing away again as he said to her, "It true I might leave… but that doesn't mean I would be gone for good."
Ahsoka turn slightly towards him again as Andros came a little close to her and said, "I would always come back to those I care for, and you are no exception."
Ahsoka heart suddenly beats loudly for her as her cheeks show a small blush turning them slightly red on her orange face as she look at Andros, as he went on saying, "I know what we are, as we're two people that came from two different worlds, but that doesn't change what's between us. I know what could happen if we were found with each other… I know the consequences if I leave me duty behind me to help you… as there is nothing I won't do for you because of how I feel for you as well."
Ahsoka is left speechless as Andros soon said to her, "I do love you Ahsoka, and there can change that."
"Andros." Ahsoka began as she then used the Force to close the door to make sure no one barged in and got the wrong idea. "What you're feeling for me... its wrong ok." Ahsoka said as she then looked to the window of her room. "What we're feeling for each other is wrong." She said being realistic about this world this Galaxy. "Whatever is forming between us has to stop, before we walk into a place we won't come back from." Ahsoka said as she looked to Andros trying to deny herself such an intimate attachment.
"So I suppose we're expected to just act like nothing is there when we both know something is there." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka.
"Andros we can't let anything form there." Ahsoka said as Andros was taught to read between the lines especially in this situation. Normally he would respect her for this but his heart didn't let him do so.
"The way you say it something is already there not just from me but from you also." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka wanting to finish their discussion from before.
"Andros." Ahsoka spoke trying to reason with him.
"Ahsoka if you didn't feel anything for me I'd have just walked out of this room and try to wish away what I feel but I can't knowing that you may feel the same way." Andros said as Ahsoka looked to Andros who seemed to know her well. "If it were that easy I'd wish away all the things that weigh down my mind and soul." Andros added as he then looked away before he looked to Ahsoka.
"I can't give in to this Andros no matter how much I want to." Ahsoka said while looking away from Andros.
"Ok then look me straight in the eye and say that." Andros said testing Ahsoka to which Ahsoka knew that very well.
"Andros." Ahsoka began but Andros wasn't backing down.
"If you can say that looking me in the eye I'll walk out right now." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka who then could not do so because it would hurt worse then she thought possible. Because she was even considering throwing her life with the Jedi away for a life with Andros.
"Andros..." Ahsoka began before swallowing her resolve before looking at Andros in the eye saying the words she hated herself for saying but knew it had to be said. "We can't." Ahsoka said to which Andros saw this and nodded to her.
"I see." Andros said with sadness and resignation to them knowing she made the hardest choice she could ever make. "I'm sorry then." Andros said as he began to walk away to the door as Ahsoka was stuck there regretting her words. In turn Ahsoka felt it through the force be it by Andros or her own actions she didn't know but she felt it the sadness the heartbreak. In a sense Ahsoka felt it as well as she felt a bit of her own heart break in response as it was clear they both wanted something to form but Ahsoka and her stubbornness kept it from happening. But she was keeping their lives from being destroyed not only for herself but for Andros as well.
He didn't want the stigma associated with Andros for turning a Jedi to respond to these feelings. First all she had to worry about was her training and making it through the Clone Wars but now her heart was being assaulted by all these feelings she wanted to reject but could not. As Andros was almost at the door her hand twitched and raised as if she wanted to reach out to him but prevented herself from doing so.
But before Andros could press the button on the door Ahsoka slipped in her resolve and charged torts Andros. She grabbed his arm and pulled him back in before smashing her lips to his catching him off guard. Andros was wide eyed but in the end returned to kiss as they stood there in the privacy of Ahsoka's room sharing this first true and passionate kiss. The two split apart looking deeply into each other's eyes as Andros eyes, that his armor reflected when summoned, reflected off of Ahsoka's own blue eyes.
"I'm sorry." Ahsoka confessed as she knew she had crossed that final threshold where there was no going back now. "But I love you, truly I do." Ahsoka said as she looked to Andros before they shared another kiss sharing the love between them.
(Outside)
Churi had seen the whole thing after escaping her escort as she had come looking for Ahsoka. But when Churi had arrived she heard the commission between them. She put a listening device in so she can listen in on the observation and try to figure out what was going on. Needless to say she was surprised at what she learned and in turn smiled to this. "I may be a gambler and a crook at times." Churi said as she then proceeded to delete the images of Ahsoka from the shoot. "But even I won't use something like this to my advantage." Churi confessed knowing full well Andros had the right to his love.
But before she could leave she got a communication and thus she answered it and saw the holo image of Logos and Phonon there." what happened?" She asked seeing the two disheveled boys there.
"Long story short Logos pissed off every gangster in the Galaxy and... well WE NEED HELP!" Phonon called out as the two were clearly hiding right now.
"Ok how bad is, it?" Churi asked to which she glare at him.
"The cost of repairs is being torn off my ass!" Logos called out showing he was in need of help as with Phonon.
"Great I'll right there soon." Churi said ending the call and went off to locate the two dunderheads. Luckily she bugged them when they rejoined the crew so she knew where to find the two buffoons. But as she left she smiled and winked to Andros room wondering if Andros intended to be there all night. "Take care." She said before taking her leave to help her two other friends out of their pinch. She knew those two will make each other happy thus she had to focus her teasing onto the others with promises to help cover for them.
But in the end love finds away even across the stars if they were aligned just right for the lovers involved. Thus she would help them hide this free of charge to the best of her abilities seeing as that's what friends do for each other even if Ahsoka hated her guts for that photoshoot. But now with one tomb sealed it only left two more and as of now there are more questions than answers. Only time shall reveal all the needed answers to these protectors.
