(Start Kiros)
In the peace loving Artisan Colony of Kiros a planet without weapon without war only art and beauty the leader of the people stood before a Holographic image of Yoda who looked to the leader hoping he would join with the Republic. "The simple truth is that there is not a single warrior among us, Master Yoda." The old Togrutan leader said as he was steadfast of remaining neutral in this war. "An armed conflict will destroy us." He confessed as that was the truth of the matter here. "We will negotiate with Count Dooku if we are able." He said but Yoda knew better how that was a horrible idea.
"Trust Dooku you cannot send help I will." Yoda said steadfast to provide aid to this neutral world.
"I'm afraid it is too late." The Togrutan leader said as he looked out the window and saw the sight that many either feared or worshiped depending on opinions. "The Separatist have already arrived." He said as outside his window was the Separatist fleet landing on his home world.
(Later outside)
After the ships landed with one of them not commonly seen among the Separatist droids were already deployed as from the main ship came Count Dooku himself accompanying him was a Zygarrian who was flanked by a Tactical Droid and a Droid Commander.
The Togrutan leader began to make his way torts them flanked by two more Togruta's. "Count Dooku we have chosen to remain neutral in this war." He began by reminding the Count of his people's decision on the conflict. "Why have you launched this invasion against us?" H asked trying to negotiate with the Sith Lord.
"Think of our presence as a peaceful occupation for your protection as well as ours." Count Dooku said as he looked to the old leader.
"I have heard of tragic stories of worlds caught between your Droids and their Clones. What of my people?" He asked knowing no good could come of being dragged into this war.
"While I am helpless to prevent the fighting I can offer your people sanctuary a safe haven until the conflict has ended." Dooku said as he looked to the leader who heard him.
"Thank you Count yours is a kind offer but." The Togrutan elder tried to decline only to find Dooku's hand on his shoulder.
"I insist." Dooku said as he began to guide the leader away.
Once the two were gone the Zygarrian began to take charge and give out orders. "Round up the citizens. All of them." He ordered and thus the Battle Droid understood.
"Rodger-Rodger." The Battle Droid said and thus they all got to work on rounding up the citizens. Unaware to the people that their fate would be one of pain this day.
(Scene Break 10 Rotations Later Republic Fleet)
The Republic fleet had arrived at Kiros as the planet was in sight now. "All clear sir there are no Separatist Crafts in the system." A clone said as Anakin and Obi-Wan stood in the command deck.
"It's been 10 rotations since Master Yoda's transmission I just hope we're not too late." Anakin said as he looked to Obi-Wan as the two left to get ready.
"Rex take us down." Obi-Wan ordered and thus Rex nodded to the General.
"Yes sir." Rex responded following the General's order.
(Meanwhile in the Hanger)
Shara was sitting by herself nervous and worried for what was to come. She had already seen combat on Umbara which she wasn't privy to save for Master Krell being a traitor. Even then she stuck to Obi-Wan's side and followed his orders and he was always a comfort helping her calm down. Umbara was her first taste of war and now she's going back into the ringer for it. "Calm yourself." Came the voice of Jinga as he walked up to Shara.
Right now the Makai is learning what they could on Illum and the Tomb hidden there thus they needed to bide their time and wait till the Order provided information. The Makai Order had deployed Andros and his team to aid with liberating Kiros since the Droid Army was comprised mostly of Battle Droids as long as the battle was only with Droids they can walk away with no problem. They are in turn serving their part in the deal with the Jedi to seal the tombs and stop this Horror from awakening. "Sorry Sir Jinga." Shara said as she stood up. "I just can't help but fear what is to come this time." Shara said as Ahsoka then jumped in.
"Don't worry just stick with Master Kenobi and you'll be fine." Ahsoka said a tad bit chipper then normal. No doubt Andros having a hand in it as their relationship had been going quiet well when one has those to confine it to.
"I hope so." Shara confessed as she heard Ahsoka had lead a battle of Ryloth when she was around Shara's age.
(Scene Break on the Planet)
The Star Destroyer was hovering in the sky as the Gunships all deployed down to the oddly quiet planet. As they flew down the gunship carrying the walker dropped off said walker and in turn the other gunships landed. Anakin and Ahsoka deployed on a speeder with Obi-Wan and Shara doing the same. Churi rode with Rex as she smirked a bit while the four Knights went on foot with the Troopers.
Ahsoka put her goggles on and nodded to Anakin before they drove off. As they drove off it didn't take long for Ahsoka to realize something was amiss around here. "Anybody else think it's too quiet I haven't seen any colonist." Ahsoka said as she looked around.
"They're probably hiding." Anakin said as he focused on driving.
"Let's hope they stay hidden it makes our job easier if we don't have to worry about them in battle." Obi-Wan said as just then Churi and Rex drove up.
"I don't like it the clankers have never been shy about using civies as living shields." Rex said just before Shara spoke up.
"This doesn't feel right we should have seen someone or something by now." Shara said as her gut told her something was very wrong here.
"Whatever it is the boys haven't found anything." Churi added in as she knew Andros team were moving the old fashioned way.
"I'm sure they're here somewhere. Let's make for the city center," Anakin said as he speeds up with everyone else following him as they all headed to the heart of the city.
As they gotten closer, droid suddenly came out of nowhere on speeder bikes, with Ahsoka raise her goggles and said, "Biker droids dead ahead."
"Squad, tighten up. Form on me," Anakin order as he turn his head towards the droids as he ride to engage the droids, with the biker droids charge in as well and both side soon exchange fire.
Rex open fire with Churi pull out her blaster and started shooting with great accuracy as she hit a couple of them, but it seem the droids gotten a few lucky hits as well when two clone riders were shot down.
Ahsoka rise up igniting her lightsabers, blocking and deflecting blaster shots, with Anakin igniting his own saber and came up to the side of one to cut its speeder, disable it to make it crash and hit into the biker droid behind it.
Both sides ride pass each other, with the droids turning around with blasters in hand and charge at the clone forces and about to make their shots, but unexpected before the droids could get close, one droid soon found an arrow through its chest and speeder, crying out before blowing up along with his ride.
The remaining droids looked around for the for the attacker, but then someone with a gold saber jump in and cut a droid down before taking over the speeder as he rev back up to pick up speed to show it was Andros on it.
Ahsoka saw this and knew their back were cover behind and above, with Phonon is seen running across the roof tops with three arrows in hand as he soon fire one after another at the remaining bikers droids for cover fire.
Logos appeared as well as he leap on the back of Andros's speeder before jump towards a droid, kicking it off and jacking a speeder himself as he said, "This is awesome."
Andros shake his head a bit toward his green skin friend, with suddenly Jinga came jumping on the back of his speeder as well and said, "Nice ride."
"Thanks, just got it recently, it even came with its own blaster," Andros said as Jinga pull it out from the holster it was in as he said, "Mind if I borrow it then?"
"Go ahead," Andros said with Jinga suddenly open fire upon the droids taking out a one of them before they could get in close to a clone rider.
The few remaining biker droids were taking out by the Makai group, with Andros riding up next to Anakin and Ahsoka's speeder and said, "Its, all clear."
"Thanks Andros," Ahsoka said as he nodded with a charming smile, with Anakin looking at him with a bit of a scolding look, as Andros saw this, getting the message as he backed off from them.
Suddenly from the group coms as Phonon voice called out, "Heads up everyone, there a blockage ahead.
(Phonon)
Looking over to Phonon as he had a finger on the side of his glasses as it seem they weren't just for looks or reading, as he somehow got a zoom function on his glasses to see huge distance as he said, "There are two tanks and a squad a droids."
(The group)
"Thank eyes, we got it from here now," Anakin said giving Phonon his new nickname as Phonon voice sounded irritated said, "Do not call me that."
"Why not, it fits you well ah-ha-ha-ha!" Logos said as he laugh over it before suddenly a Taser arrow had found itself lodge into his speeder bike, suddenly slowing down as it as shutting down with Logos now find himself left behind, as he suddenly said on his coms, "Can't take a joke?"
(Road block)
With two tanks and a squad of droids blocking the road ahead, ready for anything, before suddenly meet with blaster fire from the clone forces along with Ahsoka, Rex, and anyone else with a blaster fire upon the line of droids, hitting them and knock them down.
One tank became active as it aim its site down to the speeders coming at them, but it seem they were prepared, as Churi pulled a anti-tank rocket launcher from Rex's back and aim it at the tank before firing it, with the rocket flew towards the active tank and blew it up and taking down a group of droids with it.
Anakin ride up to the other tank, as Ahsoka stood up and with some grenades in hand, when they gotten close, Ahsoka jump up and towards the tank, as she landed and leap up on it while throwing the Grenades into the open hatch of it before jumping back to the speeder and landed in her seat, with Anakin suddenly pull over and look back as after a few seconds, the tank exploded too.
Ahsoka smile at her accomplishment with Andros said, "Nice work."
"You guys did great," Jinga said as he jumps off the droid speeder Andros is riding on, with Obi-wan order to Rex, "Captain have your men secure the area."
"We'll join them on doing so," Andros said as Churi suddenly said to him, "Hey keep the speeder will ya, it's cheap to get one this way."
"What's up with you and taking things during missions?" Andros said as Churi said, "Hey this girl got to have some hobbies, and besides I need one for this idea I gotten, and make sure to recover the one Logos was on and I will give you an I.O.U discount."
Andros sighed to this as he knew Churi would do this sort of thing as he soon turn around and get Logos and his speeder.
(Scene break)
The clone forces surround the main tower of the city, with Obi-wan walk up to some clone troopers riding in on some walkers as he said, "How are we doing Boil?"
"We're still mopping up clankers here and there sir. We've established a perimeter around the Governors tower. No one gets out without a fight." Boil said as he looked to Obi-Wan.
"Good work." Obi-Wan praised as that was a good sign. He then walked over to Cody as the Commander took note of him. "Cody any word on the Separatist commander?" Obi-Wan asked looking to the Clone.
"He's barricaded inside. His name is Darts D'nar he sent you a message sir." Cody said taking out the message which he then activated.
Once it activated it showed a male Zgyrrian in place which was clearly a recording. "Master Kenobi come to the tower we will... negotiate the terms for surrender." Darts said as Obi-Wan saw this.
"Well that was easy." Obi-Wan said but nearby Shara wasn't convinced so easily.
Just then out of nowhere the communicator was force pulled out of Cody's hand and into Anakin's hand where he proceeded to crush it. "Zygarrian scum. I'll handle that slaver." Anakin growled out showing he and Zygarrian's do not belong in the same room if either is armed.
Andros who was next to Ahsoka saw how he acted as even Shara and Phonon were concerned about this. Hell Churi literally stopped what she was doing when she saw how Anakin acted around the image of that Slaver. "Anakin he asked for me I need you to locate the missing Togruta colonist." Obi-Wan said but before he could respond Ahsoka yelped in surprised.
"Found one! What's my prize!?" Logos quipped holding Ahsoka's arm up trying to play pass her off as one of the Colonists.
In turn Andros sighed and slapped Logos upside the head causing him to yelp in pain. "Ok it was just a joke ow!" Logos called out glaring at Andros.
"Fine." Anakin finally said as he had calmed down some thanks to Logos antics and the response he got. "I'll have admiral Yularen initiate a planetary bio scan." Anakin said as he then walked away from the scene to do just that.
R2 then made a few sounds showing his concern before rolling off to catch up with Anakin. Once this was done Ahsoka and Andros after Logos walked away wen to talk to Obi-Wan. "Why is he so upset?" Ahsoka asked as she looked to Obi-Wan.
"Anakin has never talked about his past has he?" Obi-Wan asked as he looked over to Ahsoka.
"Only to tell me he won't talk about it." Ahsoka said as she looked to Obi-Wan.
"As a child Anakin and his mother were sold into slavery by the Hutt clans." Obi-Wan summarized but the tone he used showed it had still affected Anakin deeply.
"Oh." Ahsoka said realizing her master had it tough.
"And these Zygerrian's their slavers." Andros said as he understood while Anakin responded to violently to this.
"Anakin has struggled to put his past behind him." Obi-Wan said but Andros knew why.
"Sometimes some hurts are just too hard to get rid of. If he wants to put it behind him then it can't just come from him he needs others to help him with that." Andros said as Obi-Wan understood the sentiments of the words well.
"Don't worry we'll keep an eye on him." Ahsoka said as she and Andros were in agreement on this while they watched Anakin talk to Admiral Yularen through R2.
"Yes make sure you do. Both of you." Obi-Wan urged as he left the hidden couple to help Anakin. Obi-Wan knew Anakin and Andros had become somewhat close to each other almost like brothers in certain regards. Still he knew Andros and Ahsoka had the best shot of bringing Anakin down if he goes too far consumed by his past as a slave.
When Obi-Wan left Shara walked over to her master knowing something wasn't right about this. "Master Kenobi." Shara began as she looked to Obi-Wan. "I sense this is a trap in play for us, master." Shara confessed as she looked to her master with worry for what was to come.
"Yes I sense it too my young Padawan. This entire battle seems too easy." Obi-Wan said in full agreement with Shara. "Remain here till by return there's no telling what our Slaver friend has up his sleeve." Obi-Wan said and thus Shara nodded to him.
"Of course master." Shara said to which Obi-Wan made his way to the Tower to negotiate with this Darts fellow for his surrender. What few realized what that Shara's thoughts of a trap was spot on as, they would soon come to learn.
"Wait a minute." Churi spoke up as she noticed something wrong.
"What is it?" Shara asked as she looked torts Churi.
"Has anyone seen Jinga?" Churi asked as she noticed Jinga had vanished when he saw the Zygarrian.
(Later with Darts D'nar)
Dart's was in the Governor's office surrounded by his many pets who were locked in cages as a Tactical Droid stood by his side. As he sat there he was in the middle of a conversation with another Zygarrian and Count Dooku himself. "The last shipment has been received D'nar." The Zygarrian reported as he looked to Darts who was petting one of his bird based pets. "I understand the Jedi have attacked. Why are you still there?" The Zygarrian asked a bit concerned Darts may put their entire operation at risk right now.
"I'm going to make the Jedi pay for their arrogance. I have them right where I want them." Darts said as he then heard the Elevator lift coming up.
From there Obi-Wan came through as he smirked at his foe hearing the conversation. "Do tell." Obi-Wan quipped only to have the Commando Droids aiming their blasters at him opting the Jedi to raise his hands to show he was 'caught,' here.
Dooku and the other Zygarrian turn around on the holo-projector as Dooku started to say, "Gentlemen, meet Obi-wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight."
The unnamed Zygarrian growls out at Obi-wan as Dooku turn back around to D'nar and said, "D'nar bring him to me... on his knees."
"With pleasure," D'nar said before ending communications as he look towards Obi-wan as the Jedi master walk towards him as he said, "We were going to discuss surrender?"
"Yes. You will surrender," D'nar said as he prop up his feet with a smug look on his face as Obi-wan said, "We obviously have a misunderstanding, my friend."
Obi-wan lower his arms behind him as he had a secret listening device on his arm as he turned it on while he distract the Zygarrian General.
(Outside)
Anakin was talking to a yellow armored Clone trooper when his com link beeps as everyone heard it gather around quickly as they heard D'nar on it saying, "No, you are wrong, Jedi."
"Am I?" Obi-wan said as he went on saying, "You're no doubt aware your droid forces have been destroyed and you are surrounded. Do the Honorable thing and give up now, D'nar. I promise you will receive a fair treatment."
(The tower)
D'nar keep petting his pet bird creature as he responded with, "You've broken through my defenses. You think you've won. Think again. I have planted bombs all over the city. No one will survive."
(Outside)
"Now surrender," D'nar said as with everyone looked worry, Andros quickly acted as he looked at Churi while Obi-wan was still talking over the coms, he asked her said, "You think you can locate any of these bombs?"
"Easy, I can start a location spell so can start finding them if there are any," Churi said as suddenly D'nar said over the coms, "Here is my Counteroffer."
A second later a building near the group exploded as the few clones that were near it died while other were thrown by the force of it and everyone else that was far enough duck for cover.
(In the tower)
Obi-wan heard the explosion now knew D'nar isn't bluffing at all, as he rushes to the window to see what had happen and saw a building now gone as in its place was smoke and fire as D'nar said to him, "There were no colonists in that structure, but there could have been."
"Now, bow down and surrender to me, you Jedi Filth," D'nar said as he didn't know a plan was already in place by the Makai team.
(Down below)
Clones went into action gathering up their wounded and dead with the Makai group helping as well while looking for anything as quickly as they could as Phonon looked around from a build top down into the destroy building as he yell out, "There wasn't any colonists in the building, there's no bodies."
Down below as Andros use the force the move parts of the destroy building around and lifted one off a clone as he said, "Wish I could say the same thing for the clones."
"We can't save them all Andros, but we can help those who are still alive, and keep moving," Churi said as she went down to the clone that was under Debris and said, "Don't worry we got you."
Churi pull out her brush, as the tip of it started to glow green as she chanted some Makai words before she tap the head of a clone to make him sigh in relief while leaning back resting from the pain he was feeling, before another clone came around as Churi she said to him, "I reduce the pain he feeling, and slow the blood flow, but he is in a serious condition that will get worst if he's not treated soon."
"Understood, thank you," the clone said as he grab his clone brother and get him to the medic soon as he can as Churi stood as Andros gotten the last of the debris out of the way he said, "Start the location spell. The sooner we can, the better, we don't know how long Obi-wan can stall."
"Any news?" Anakin asked as he checked over another Clone.
"Yeah I can mind if I burrow R2 to help?" Churi asked needing a method to send the data over to Anakin.
"Already on it." Anakin said as R2 and BD came in and went with Churi.
"Jinga." Andros began as he went to his communicator. "Jinga we have a problem respond!" Andros ordered but there was no response from Jinga.
"Ok now I'm worried." Logos said as he knew Jinga well enough to know he never goes ghost on them without good reason.
"Churi find the bombs then find Jinga wherever the hell he is he better have a good reason for going ghost on us." Andros said as he knew Jinga well enough to know he'd never vanish on them.
"You sure I can disarm them better." Churi said to which Andros looked to her.
"We got this!" Andros called out as he in turn got onto one of the 501st walkers with Logos and Phonon taking one as well.
"Come on Ahsoka." Anakin added as he and Ahsoka headed to a pair of walkers. "We'll disarm the bombs while Obi-Wan negotiates." Anakin said and this the group of five were off to try and locate the bombs.
"Let's hope he can but us some time." Logos said and thus they were off to locate the bombs.
Shara was left behind as Cody headed up to her waiting. "Orders ma'am." Cody asked as he knew with Obi-Wan indisposed the chain of command went to Shara.
"Get the wounded tended to get working on the scan for the bombs. They have to be in the city judging from the range of the detonator." Shara said and thus Cody nodded and got to work.
"Yes ma'am." He said and got to work on locating those bombs.
(Scene Break Jinga)
Jinga was seen walking to Darts ship as his duster moved through the wind. The way Jinga moved it was almost like he was in a trance of sorts as he made his way to the ship. He saw the boarding ramp was down and thus began to enter the ship passing by Darts many pets. Many of said pets began to cower away from Jinga as if they knew by instinct alone he wasn't normal. He made his way to the cockpit and smirked before he proceeded to disable the controls and engines with a clean slash from his sword.
Once he got there he sat down on the pilot seat and rested his feet on the broken controls. Once he was there Jinga opened his eyes which were closed showing they had become the very same shade of topaz as the 'other Jinga,' as he seemed to be waiting now. He then a finger gun and aimed it at where Darts was before pulling the trigger showing who he was aiming for. In turn he waited as he knew eventually Darts would come here and depending if he wins or loses will decide his fate.
(Back with Obi-Wan)
"Very well." Obi-Wan said as he put his lightsaber on the table. "I surrender." Obi-Wan said stepping away from his weapon with his hands raised causing Darts to smirk at his victory.
"Long before this war, you Jedi destroyed the great Zygarrian slave empire. I would kill you now but Dooku would prefer you alive." Darts said as he began to circle around Obi-Wan.
"I... understand your frustration. It's unfortunate you and I cannot resolve our differences as you do in the Zygarrian tradition." Obi-Wan said catching Darts attention.
Darts bird flew off to its perch just before the Slaver began to laugh. "With no weapons you would fight me?!" He asked surprised with Obi-Wan's challenge.
"For good reason say if I win you reveal the location of the Colonist and the bombs." Obi-Wan wagered as he Darts saw where this was going.
"And if I win I deliver you to Dooku in a cage like one of these filthy creatures." Darts said gesturing to the animals around him.
"Perhaps." Obi-Wan quipped and in turn the fight began when Darts grabbed Obi-Wan by the collar of his robes and began to head butt him. He then proceeded to throw him across the room which clearly hurt for Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan moaned in pain as he then saw Darts standing over him. He then flipped Obi-Wan before following it up by throwing him over to the cages where he hit a statue.
Darts many pets all began to cry out as he noticed this and smirked. "Careful you're disturbing my pets they fetch a high price." Darts said as he looked to Obi-Wan.
(Meanwhile Churi and the droids)
R2 and BD did a full scan on the bombs that could be founded by scan, with Churi did a location spell herself to see if there were any hidden bombs that could be on a timer than a detonator but found none and only saw the ones that R2 and BD found as she said, "Wow these separatist are lazy this, this isn't even a challenge."
Churi raise his com to the others as she said, "Alright everyone R2 and BD found the bombs, and are sending you the coordinates to them now."
(Anakin and Ahsoka)
As the two Jedi were riding out on the walkers, Anakin saw on his map the locations of the bombs and said, "Copy that, Churi. We're approaching the first bomb now."
(Andros)
He saw the tomb on his map with everyone else's location as he said, "There's one near me as well, I'm going for it."
(Phonon)
"Same here," Phonon said as he sees a bomb near him as he went for it
(Logos)
The flaming sword knight was going crazy on his walker as he look at the map and said, "Bomb ahead ho!"
(Churi)
"Good luck to you guys then," Churi said before R2 and BD turn off their holograms of the bomb location as Churi said, "Well I'll leave that in their hands meanwhile let us help out the clones."
The two droids beep out as they agreed and soon headed back to assist the clones with their wounded.
(Bomb location)
A small squad of droids were watching over the bomb, with one droid hears something metal clinking as he started to say, "Do you hear that?"
Soon enough the droids turn to where the noise are coming from as Ahsoka and Anakin were turning the corner and charging at the droids, as Anakin fire off a few rounds to take out the super battle droids.
The other droids began to open fire on them with Ahsoka going in as she dodge the blast with her walker before stopping, and leap out with her lightsabers ignited and quickly cut down the three droids.
After that she turn her attention to the bomb while deactivating her sabers, and remove the panel on the bomb which activated the count down, as it started to beep out, and look at it as she said, "There must be a wire we should cut, or something to stop the countdown."
Anakin gotten of his walker and came over to the bomb himself as he said, "Stand back."
The bomb beeping went faster and louder to tell it was nearing it count down, with Anakin activated his light saber and made light cuts in the bomb to cut the two wires with the bomb soon deactivated with Ahsoka said, "Wow. How did you know that would work?"
Anakin smile as he turn around and said, "I trusted my instincts."
"You mean you guessed," Ahsoka said as she accuse her master of, as Anakin said to her while getting back on his walker, "Yeah, but it was an educated guess. Now come on. There's plenty more to go."
Ahsoka rolled her eyes as she soon gotten back on the walker to get to the other bombs the others hasn't found yet, and speaking of which.
(Andros)
Many droids were cut down around him as he held up his gold saber while he came up to his bomb, as it was steady but still armed as he raise his arms and activated his com and he said, "I'm at my bomb now, does anyone have an idea how to shut it down?"
Soon he got a respond from Ahsoka as she said, "Yes we do cut the two wires under the panel. First the right then the left right after that."
"Got it," Andros said as he taken the panel off and slash across the two wires in one go shutting it down before he said, "Bomb is shutdown."
(Phonon)
Phonon raise his bow before breaking it in half before using the two connected bow staff and swing it across the comb, cutting the two wires with the blades on his bow, shutting it down for him before he connected back his bow into place and said on his coms, "Bomb in my location is deactivated, heading to the next one."
(Logos)
Logos held his dagger in both hands as he look at the wires and stab down into it a bit as it seem he didn't get it at first but a few more stab before it power down and said on his com, "Bomb is off, what next?"
"The next bomb Logos," everyone said at the same time as Logos pull his arm away as it was a little loud for him with everyone yelling at the same time at him as he said, "Got it."
(Obi-wan)
The Jedi master was looking a bit ruffled as he got thrown against a wall, as he raise both of his fist up before dodging a cage that as thrown near him, with D'nar moved around cage before walk towards him, Obi-wan took a swing and hit the Zygerrian in the face, but it looked like it hardly did anything, as he smile and turn to Obi-wan with a smile.
With Obi-wan throw another punch, as D'nar grab it and give it a twist, causing Obi-wan to cry out in pain a bit before D'nar knee him in his gut and letting him drop down before grabbing his head.
"For thousands of years, Zygerria supplied slave labor to the Galaxy," D'nar said as he throw Obi-wan across the floor as he walk up to him as he went on saying, "We prospered."
D'nar strike obi-wan hard as he still went on going, "Our customers prospered!"
D'nar strike Obi-wan once again as he said to him, "Then the Jedi Came."
Obi-wan was then given an upper cut, sending him over at the desk, as the Jedi landed on top of it as he cry out in pain upon landing as D'nar approach him, reaching out his hand before Obi-wan to get up, grab his neck and choke him as he slam him back on the desk as Obi-wan gagged out.
Suddenly the Hologram transmitter beep out as a droid appeared on the hologram as D'nar keep chocking obi-wan out as the droid said, "Uh, excuse me, sir. We have a problem."
"What problem?!" Darts demanded only for Obi-Wan to punch him in the face just as the droid began its explanation. He then slammed Darts head into it destroying the communicator in turn. Once Obi-Wan stepped back Darts glared at the Jedi and growled almost like an animal ready to murder this Knight.
(Back with the group)
Since they divided and conquered to get all the bombs they managed to get them all faster than they intended. In turn they gathered around the last two bombs and saw them surrounded by Battle Droids and Super Battle Droids.
"These are the last of them." Anakin said as he rode with them.
"Let's power on through!" Andros said as Anakin smirked at the Golden Knight. In turn they slammed their walkers into the Super Battle Droids and began to fight their way through them all. Lightsabers and Soul Metal Swords slashed through the foes left and right as they carve a path to the bombs. Nearby Phonon was seen firing off his arrows at the Droids aiming for their processor units while Logos came in taking out many more droids.
In turn they got to the last few as they were at the bombs. Phonon then kick jumped off the wall and fired off his arrows at the remaining droids. "Hurry before more show up!" Phonon called out and thus Ahsoka nodded.
Ahsoka ran over to the bombs and moved the console of it off. But when she did so the bombs accelerated causing the group to all go wide eyed to this.
"Oh don't tell me." Andros said realizing what this was.
"I think the bombs are linked!" Ahsoka called out as she looked to the bombs.
"You're supposed to disarm them not activate them." Anakin scolded as he looked.
"Kind of hard to disarm them when their linked!" Andros called out and thus Phonon acted fast.
"Droids on the roof!" Phonon called out firing off his arrows at the Rollers up top that took turret like forms.
"Phonon what are the chances of you hitting both of those bombs at the same time?" Andros asked as they deflected laser shots while moving to cover.
"Give me cover and I can do it!" Phonon called out getting two more arrows ready.
"Logos!" Andros called out as Logos heard this.
"No I'm not being bait again!" Logos called out as he always gets chosen as bait.
"Of for the love of. Phonon plan b!" Andros called out as Phonon smirked a bit.
"Plan B?" Ahsoka asked as she was confused now.
"Lightsabers deflect laser shots!" Andros called out and thus Ahsoka and Anakin got the gist of it.
"On my mark!" Anakin called out as they got ready to move. "Go!" Anakin called out and thus they got moving. Andros ignited his Lightsaber and deflected the laser shots from the Droids as did Ahsoka and Anakin. Once they were in a good spot Phonon charged out and in turn jumped off the downed droids and cut open the portals for his armor. Once he did so Gai notched up two arrows and proceeded to take the shot allowing both arrows to fly at both bombs.
The arrows pierced through and thus the bombs beeped for a moment before deactivating. Gai wasn't done as when he landed he fired off two more arrows at the rollers up top and cleared the path his friends to get out. The arrows due to the soul metal they were comprised pierced the shields of the Droids and destroyed them with ease. Once Gai landed he reverted to Phonon who sighed and relaxed from the assault.
"Now then." Andros said as he looked around. "Who wants to make the call?" Andros asked as he looked among the group on who would tell Obi-Wan the bombs were dealt with.
(Meanwhile back with Obi-Wan)
As Obi-Wan was knocked down again he cursed himself while getting back up. "Come on Anakin hurry up." Obi-Wan said and just as he got back up his communicator went off.
"Hey Obi-Wan how are you and Darts doing?" Andros asked as Obi-Wan heard this and answered.
"Quite well and how are you my young friend?" Obi-wan asked as Andros laughed a bit.
"Tell Darts he can send in his formal surrender he had no bombs to hide behind anymore." Andros said making Darts go wide eyed in shock.
"What!?" Darts cried in shock when he heard this. He then went to the Tactical Droid and took the detonator. "Give me that!" He called out and thus pulled the trigger. But when he did so the bombs did not go off causing him to try again many more times each resulting in failures.
Obi-Wan then smirked as he was back on his feet dusting himself off. "Well they got done sooner than I expected." Obi-Wan said whole dusting himself off. Obi-Wan then force lifted the two Commando Droids and crushed them before going for his saber via the Force. As the weapon flew into his waiting hand. "Well shall we discuss your surrender?" Obi-Wan began as he ignited his Lightsaber. "Again?" He asked with a smirk at their victory.
"I still have one bomb left Jedi!" Darts said as he went for the tactical Droids and spun it around revealing the extra bomb and quickly worked on activating it.
"Sir how could you?" The Droid asked in shock before being pushed over to Obi-Wan who could not risk activating the bomb by slicing it with is lightsaber. Darts ran over to his pet and grabbed the bird before running off to the lift. The Tactical droid began to panic as it tried to get the bomb off its back.
As Darts escaped Obi-Wan acted fast and force pushed the droids outside the window. As it fell it exploded which was no doubt a sure signal for the others to come. "Anakin, Shara!" Obi-Wan called out to the communicator hoping they were quick to react. "Come in!" Obi-Wan called out as knew they had to move quickly.
(Anakin's Group)
As the group was boarding the walker Anakin answered Obi-Wan who began to warn him of Darts escape attempt. "D'nar is making his escape from the tower!" Obi-wan called out and thus Anakin was on the case.
"On our way!" Anakin called out as and thus he and the group began to move.
"We'll never catch him in time!" Ahsoka called out as she rode next to Andros.
"I'm not letting that slaver scum get away!" Anakin called as he pushed the pedal to the metal.
(Shara and Churi)
"And you won't have to!" Churi called out as she and Shara went through the tower.
"We're closer to him we can stop him!" Shara called out as she headed to where Darts ship was.
"No Shara Churi stand down and wait for backup!" Obi-Wan called out but Churi smirked.
"Sorry bad connection got cut... off!" Churi faked break up and thus hung up on Obi-Wan and smiled to Shara. "What he doesn't, know what hurt him." Churi said to which Shara knew thanks to Churi she was going to be in hot waters after this.
(Later at Darts ship)
AS darts ran to his ship he saw Shara and Churi close on his tail giving chase. Shara ignited her emerald green Saber as she chased down the slaver with Churi. But before Darts could get to the ship he was shocked to see it was already closing on him making him pick up the pace. Once he got close he jumped in and dropped his pet in the cage just before the doors closed.
"No!" Obi-Wan called out as he caught up just before something different happened.
"Don't worry." Jinga was heard on the communications. "Darts hasn't escaped... in fact he's right where I want him." Jinga said yet he sounded off as everyone heard this. But it was clear where Jinga had been hiding since the battle started.
(Andros)
"Jinga?" Andros asked noticing his friend sounded strange not like himself.
(With Darts)
As Darts entered the cockpit of his ship he soon heard slow clapping and saw that someone was on his seat. As the figure turned around it was revealed to be Jinga who smirked at the Slaver.
"Bravo. Bravo." Jinga said calmly while clapping his hands yet his tone suggested he was hardly impressed. "Truly a slaver ahead of his time run and cut your losses." Jinga said as he sat there not at all bothered.
"How did you get in here?" Darts asked as Jinga then used the force to close the door and locked all of the doors.
"How I got in here you left the door open." Jinga taunted as he smirked at his foe.
Darts pulled out his energy whip only for Jinga to act and used the force to yank it away from Darts before he could get a proper grasp on it. "Let me guess this was to show me my place correct?" Jinga taunted as he got up looking at the whip. He then used the force to break it causing it to short out when it hit the ground. "Oops." Jinga taunted as he made his way torts Tarts.
"Come Darts have a seat." Jinga called out as he then used the Force to pull Darts to the chair and restrain him there shocking the Slaver. "Now you're going to tell everyone where the colonists are otherwise." Jinga began holding his saber next to Darts neck and in turn ignited it causing him to yelp in shock. "Bad things tend to happen to those who lie to me." Jinga said as he held his saber close to his neck ready to sever his head from his shoulders.
"You won't do that to me Jedi I know your kind!" Darts called out and thus Jinga sighed and pulled his saber back.
"Normally you'd be right... if I was a Jedi." Jinga said as he then raised his hand up and began to crush it causing Darts to feel his windpipes being crushed as Jinga force choked him. "Normally the other guy wouldn't get his hands dirty like this... but he's not here right now and let me say he hates slavers more than Skywalker does and that's because it's a reminder of a cursed lineage of his." Jinga said as he crushed harder. "So then." Jinga began releasing Darts from the Force choke. "Let's see how the slaver likes when he's in the role of the slave." Jinga smirked as his hand began to form electricity akin to the Force Lightning.
(Later Outside)
"Jinga!" Andros called as they were all gathered at the ship which was sealed tight at the moment. "Jinga respond!" Andros called out but they got no reply from him.
"We gotta cut open a hole or access the airlock somehow." Churi said as she got to work on trying to get the ship to open.
"Does Jinga normally do this?" Shara asked in confusion.
"No and that's what worries me." Andros said but just then they heard screaming of pure agony coming from Darts ship. They all looked up and saw the windows were flashing to go with the screams a few times as they was even the violet glow of Jinga's lightsaber.
"Ok change of plans get us in there now!" Phonon called out as even Anakin was worried what Jinga was doing in there.
"On it!" Churi called out as she acted fast and hacked into the ship. It wasn't long until the screams were finally silenced and in a panic the group opened the cargo hold and began to run inside. They made a bee-line for the cockpit hoping to get to Jinga and stop him from whatever it was he was doing to Darts.
"Come on!" Ahsoka called out as they ran over to where Jinga was.
(Later in the Cockpit)
The group arrived at the cockpit to find the door slide open and from it Darts stumbled out almost crawling away in terror of his torturer. What was horrifying was the state Darts was left in, he was grasping his eye socket from a lost eye, his arm was a stub from a lightsaber, his entire body was singed with force lightning and what appeared to be force fire at a few spots. His remaining eye was almost swollen shut, he was missing a few teeth and his horns were torn off, his throat showed signs of bruising suggesting choking was involved and seeing how he was struggling to breath suggested he may need medical attention for it.
He ran over to the Jedi and Knights in a panic as he looked to them with pure terror. "Help me! I'll tell you where the Colonists are! Just keep that THING away from me!" He called out pointing to the cockpit.
"All of you." Andros said as he saw the state Jinga was in. "Stay out here." Andros said as he went to investigate what had happened.
The Makai Group was ready for anything as they knew something had happened. Andros was the first to enter the cockpit while he searched around for anything. He quickly found Jinga hunched over against the wall seemingly knocked out as he walked over to him. Zaruba also sensed something but whatever it was it wasn't a Horror. Andros walked over to Jinga and began to wake him as causing the Knight to stir. "Jinga!" Andros began as Jinga stirred. "Jinga!" Andros repeated and thus Jinga woke up.
"Andros?" Jinga asked his eyes returned to normal. Just then Andros lit his Madou lighter causing Jinga's eyes to focus on them but when his eyes showed no sign of a Horror Andros cut the flame.
"Ok clearly you're not a Horror so in that case." Andros began before he violently grabbed Jinga by the collar of his duster and pinned him to the wall. "WHAT THE FUCK HAD GOTTEN INTO YOU JINGA!" Andros yelled as Jinga was confused right.
"What are talking about Andros let me go!" Jinga called out as he forced Andros to release him.
"Um let see you went ghost on us in the middle of a battle, you waited here for Darts D'nar and when he got here you had brutalized him!" Andros yelled as he glared at Jinga.
"Battle... The Battle!" Jinga cried out as he then noticed where he was. "Wait... when did we get here?" Jinga asked clearly confused right now.
"Yes the battle you know to take back Kiros from the Separatist." Andros said as Jinga was confused.
"I remember the battle then I saw the slaver, Skywalker nearly went on a war path, and after Obi-Wan began to leave... nothing." Jinga said revealing everything from them taking the city to now, was all a blur. "Andros... what happened?" Jinga asked as he then saw Darts in the background in the sorry state he was in as he was being given stim packs and med kits to keep him stable.
"That happened." Andros said pointing his thumb to Darts.
"I didn't do it honest I didn't." Jinga said as he was at a loss here.
"Jinga you were the only one in the cockpit with him no one else was here." Andros said as Jinga was now confused and probably losing it.
"I didn't do it you all know me well enough to know I'd never do anything like this." Jinga defended as it was clear he was fully convinced he didn't do this. Andros felt with the force to find the truth from Jinga and in turn Zaruba confirmed it as well.
"He's telling the truth." Zaruba said as Andros nodded to this.
"I know but that doesn't explain... that." Andros said as he pointed to the brutalized Darts.
"I say he had it coming." Anakin said only for Andros to glare.
"Even if that is the case we don't do that." Andros defended and thus Anakin backed off a bit.
"This does pose a problem." Obi-Wan said as it was clear something was happening to Jinga. BUT despite this what Jinga just did broke many war crimes with prisoners of war that would see him in hot waters with the Republic.
"Jinga's record as a Knight is spotless he'd never do something like this at all." Phonon said as he read Jinga's record.
"We need to get to the bottom of this." Obi-Wan said as he looked to the group. "I'm sorry to say but Jinga will need to be put into the brig until we can sort this out." Obi-Wan said but Jinga was defensive.
"But I didn't do this!" Jinga defended but Andros held him back.
"And we all want to believe you Jinga but what it looks like doesn't help your case." Andros said and thus Andros calmed himself. "Look all you have to do is spend some nights in the brig on our return to Coruscant and when we get back we can sort all of this out." Andros said to which Jinga calmed down and relaxed some trusting his best friend's words.
(Scene Break the Resolute Brig)
The group had to delay their report to the Jedi Council of the mission to transport Jinga to the brig. There Jinga sat there stripped of his weapons and gear as he sat in the cell with his hands cuffed. The cuffs were a formality but still what had happened was a shock to everyone.
"Alva." Jinga spoke as he was alone in the room.
"Hmmm?" Alva asked as she began to come to as well. "What are we doing here Jinga?" Alva asked as she was just waking up herself.
"I was hoping you can tell me, I apparently blacked out after we took the city and did something... horrible." Jinga said as he couldn't believe he'd do such a thing.
"Well it seems we share that problem. I don't remember anything after taking the city." Alva spoke as it was clear whatever had happened had affected them both which would explain why Alva didn't stop Jinga before he went too far.
"Alva... is there something wrong with me... is that 'other part,' coming to play?" Jinga asked worried he may be falling into the darker lines of his ancestors.
"Honestly I don't know Jinga but whatever it is it has to be solved soon." Alva said as she worried for her partner Jinga would never knowingly or willingly do something this heinous.
"Alva I need to check something." Jinga said as he then used the force to undue the manacle on his right arm. Once that was done he began to remove his gauntlet unclasping it. Once it was off he slipped the armor off and in turn was wide eyed at what he saw. His right arm was covered in Makai Markings it almost looked like his entire arm was branded with the mark of death. Whatever it was Jinga made sure he wasn't seen and put the gauntlet back on before putting his cuffs on again.
"Jinga you can't hide that you need to." Alva began but Jinga cut her off.
"I can deal with this Alva!" Jinga defended but his past actions had proven otherwise in that regard. "Just... just give me time." Jinga said as he was getting hit with many problems yet he was stubborn in wanting to face them himself.
"Jinga…" Alva trailed off but for now stayed silent. Something was happening to Jinga and whatever it was she was afraid it would all cumulate to something cruel.
(Scene Break Jedi Council)
"General Skywalker I ran the bio scan twice but the results were negative." Admiral Yularen said as he looked to the General via the holo communications.
"Are you saying the colonists are not in the city?" Anakin asked shocked to hear this.
"I'm saying that they're not even on the planet!" The Admiral said as he looked to his General. "Then entire population appears to have simply vanished." Yularen said as he looked to the Jedi.
"Vanished that's impossible those are my people." Ahsoka said as Andros had to agree with Ahsoka on this one.
"That means our only other lead is our... prisoner." Shara said as she had trouble saying that seeing the state Darts was left in by Jinga's moment of insanity.
"I think prisoner is the operating word here." Logos said as the guy was basically a patient going through multiple surgeries right now to heal the damages done by Jinga.
"Troubling is the return of the Zygarrian's." Yoda said as from his seat.
"It is likely that they mean to use Dooku to rebuild their slaver empire." Plo said as that was the logical response.
"We cannot allow that master." Anakin said as he looked to the Council.
"Agree I do but first find the colonists you must in great danger they are." Yoda said as Plo noticed Yoda was lost in thought.
"What is it, master?" Plo asked as he looked to Yoda.
"Sense I do a darker hand in this mystery. Slavery a great tool for the rise of the Sith." Yoda said as he knew this very well.
"But what about Jinga." Andros spoke as he looked to Yoda.
Anakin seeing where this was going took charge. "Yularen try to see if you can find any clues that may have been left behind." Anakin said as Yularen nodded.
"Of course." He said before his hologram vanished.
Once he was gone Yoda began to speak again. "In contact with Velina I have been. With Jinga aware of the situation she is." Yoda said as he sat there. "Being done from both sides an Investigation is. Bottom of this we shall find." Yoda said knowing from how Velina described Jinga's records and time as a Knight this situation was out of left field from him.
"For now we should see to Darts recovery before we begin to interrogate him." Plo said as he could only imagine from the reports of what state Darts was in.
"That would be wise for now." Obi-Wan said as Anakin was also curious as to what made Jinga lose control like that and to such a level too. Whatever was going on it seems Jinga was in the center of it all and whatever it was the Knight feared Jinga may be falling to the dark or becoming the starting point of a Horror. Until they can find all the information they could only wait and see for the results of this immediate dilemma.
