Garo Conquest of Makai
ESKK: Well a new chapter my friends hope you all enjoy this new chapter my faithful readers.
(Start Andros and Jinga)
The duo were in the hideout as Jinga was in a holo conversation with the others. "So we all regrouped well now what's the plan?" Logos asked as he was itching to jump into the action.
"The plan is to start working our way to get the others free." Jinga said as he looked to Churi and the others.
"But how? Master Kenobi and Captain Rex are trapped inside the fortress and Sir Andros is currently blinded. Our small ragtag team may not succeed in getting everyone out." Shara said as looked to the group with concern.
"Don't tell us the odds Shara it throws us off." Logos said with a cocky smirk on his face.
"We'll need a way to contact the Republic Fleet so they can clean house and from there we need to get Anakin and Ahsoka out as well." Phonon said as he thought of a plan.
"The people wants both Anakin and Obi-Wan executed but the Queen won't go through with it." Andros said as he stepped in with a mask over his eyes. "This may cause Count Dooku to come himself to deal with the 'wayward queen,' to make her execute the Jedi." Andros said as he looked to the group.
"Yes I can agree with that." Jinga said as he looked to his friend.
"But I sense Anakin already has a plan to escape he's just waiting for a golden opportunity." Andros said as he knew Anakin must have a backup plan ready.
"Then our best bet is to regroup with him to get the plan rolling." Jinga said and thus they were all in agreement.
Just then BD ran in and looked to the dup and made his normal beeping noises. "You found them?" Andros asked as he looked to BD who in turn nodded in response.
"The first bit of Good news we've heard all day." Jinga said and thus he knew what they needed to do.
"Ok then you two break back into the Queen's Castle and find Anakin and Ahsoka we'll try and see if we can find a way to break into the stronghold here." Churi said and thus they were in agreement on this before she ended the communication.
(Over with Churi's group)
Once they ended the communication Shara grew quiet as she looked to the direction the fortress was with a sense of dread and worry. "You ok?" Churi asked taking note to this.
"I'm worry about Master Kenobi. This isn't like most missions he's taken this place I can sense all the suffering radiating off it like a plague." Shara said as she almost swore she could hear the cries of woe from those who had been enslaved in this place.
Churi began to wonder if Shara also had Andros empath abilities but for the time being she kept this observation to herself. If Shara was an empath then the only one best suited to teach her how to use it would be Andros himself.
(Meanwhile with Obi-Wan and Rex)
Inside the stronghold the sounds of screams of pain and suffering were evident as the Togruta Colonists with both Obi-Wan and Rex were made to shovel what appeared to be coal into a machine without rest. Many were struggling while undergoing this unimaginable form of pain as Obi-Wan and Rex were right now the only two powering through it all.
It wasn't long until the fat Zygarrian on the hover chair came in to where Obi-Wan and Rex were. "Obi-Wan Kenobi, once a Jedi Master, now a Jedi Slave." He taunted looking down upon the Jedi who glared at the Slaver as said slaver went off to laugh at him. "Pitiful." He scoffed adding insult to injury.
Nearby a Togruta began to lose strength and start collapsing while the others worked around him. In doing so one of the overseers saw this and glared at him. He then took out his whip and cracks it on the slave's collar causing it to shock him and cause him pain. "Keep eyes on your toil, skug!" The Overseer scolded and in turn cracked the whip again on the Togruta slave.
Back over with Obi-Wan and Rex the two were working as Obi-Wan looked around for a possible way out but only saw the suffering of many. "Everything about this place is designed to shatter the will." Obi-Wan said as he saw what was going on. "It has already begun to affect these poor people." Obi-Wan noted as he saw what was going on around here only to be hit with a whip by a slaver.
"Speech is forbidden." Another Overseer called out glaring at Obi-Wan.
"I'm sorry. It won't happen again." Obi-Wan apologized as he got back to work.
"There will be punishment." The Slaver said and in turn cracked the whip on a Togruta instead.
"No, stop. It's my mistake! Leave him alone!" Obi-Wan said getting between the Togruta and the slavers.
The Slaver in turn shocked Obi-Wan's collar with a staff as the Slavers glared at him. "Now a slave gives me commands?" The Slaver asked glaring at Obi-Wan before he proceeded to whip the Togruta further. "Beg! Beg me, before this one dies because of you!" The Slaver yelled with sadistic laughter glaring at Obi-Wan who was helpless to protect this poor soul.
Obi-Wan was left with no choice but to comply as both his honor and morals would not allow the suffering of others. "Please. Forgive me, master." Obi-Wan begged as Rex glared at the slaver with contempt off to the side. The Slaver laughed at his victory and took his leave taking joy in making the Jedi suffer. Once the slaver was gone Obi-Wan went to see if the colonist was ok only to have his arm slapped away for it. "Keep away from me. Jedi only make things worse." The Colonist said with fear as Obi-Wan looked over to Rex who was also shocked to see this.
In turn Obi-Wan looked down in defeat as it was starting to look like this mission was going to take every bit of energy and Jedi Training he had in him to not break.
(Scene Break Space)
From out of hyperspace Dooku's personal transport ship flew in as the solar sail of it began to recede into the ship as it made way for its landing. As the ship flew to Zygarria Dooku was inside the ship as the droid piloted it for him as he was in contact with his master. "Long have Sith Empires been built upon the back of slaves. To carry on this tradition, we will require millions." Darth Sidious said as his hood obscured his true identity whoever he was under the hood.
"I assure you, the queen's defiance will not sour your plans, master." Dooku assured Sidious as the Sith Lord heard his apprentice.
"If she fails to see the error of her ways, end her rule." Sidious said as he looked to Dooku.
"It shall be done my lord." Dooku said bowing his head but Sidious was not done just yet.
"One more thing, a young man by the name of Jinga is upon this world, draw him out and test his strength I believe he may carry some sort of link to the ancient past of the Sith Species." Sidious said as Dooku was surprised to hear this despite it being a theory.
"As you command." Dooku said and thus the communication line ended between them. In turn his ship began to go in for its final descent to land at the platform on the planet.
(Meanwhile with Jinga and Andros)
The two were getting ready to enter the castle as they waited for Anakin's signal to show he got out. AS they waited the two paused as they sensed something and looked to each other. "Did you sense that?" Andros asked as Jinga nodded.
"Yes a presence in the Dark Side has arrived whoever it is he's near." Jinga said as he could tell they were having company.
"A Sith Lord?" Andros asked as he looked to Jinga.
"Most likely." Jinga said and if he was right he feared his secret may have one more person added in if they were acute enough to the Dark Side. The two knew they had to exercise caution as there was no telling how powerful this Sith was and that was assuming they even crossed paths with him.
(Scene Break Anakin)
Anakin and Miraj were seen walking down the garden path as the Queen had her arm wrapped around Anakin's. "Have you considered my offer, Skywalker?" Miraj asked as Anakin had a cold yet angry face on. "If you vow loyalty to me, I will free your friends." Miraj said as she was still trying to convince Anakin to side with her.
"It's not an easy decision." Anakin responded showing his contempt as the words left his mouth with venom.
"Hmm. Curious." Miraj said as she saw something she may be able to use. "I thought the Jedi were selfless, placing the needs of others before their own." Miraj said as she looked to Anakin using this fact to her advantage.
Unaware to either of them R2 and BD were seen hidden among the crowd behind them waiting for Anakin's signal. BD and R2 had met up after Andros sent him off to scout the area. Despite being blind Andros still needed information before he charges in blindly without a plan. The two droid then looked to each other before they nodded and began chasing after Anakin to provide him with what aid they can.
As Anakin walk with the Queen still, soon approaching a corner, with a Zygarrian messenger came up in a rush as he said, "My Queen, I bring word."
When they stop, Anakin pulled away from the Queen, while she tries to keep hold of him, but she knew she had to let go as she did with the messenger said to her, "Count Dooku is on his way here."
The Queen sighed to this as it seem she wasn't expecting Dooku to show up this soon as she said, "Sooner than Anticipated." She started to walk off as she order the messenger as she said, "Make preparations for his arrival."
The messenger bow as he soon ran off as Anakin saw him run off, and how the messenger acted and how the Queen is acting, he can guess what's going on as he walk up to Queen Miraj and said to her, "So even you have a master."
"Dooku is not my master," The Queen said with almost venom in her voice when she speak of him, as if she really hate Dooku as she turn around towards Anakin as she said to him, "Perhaps you should not attend this meeting. Can I trust you not to run away?"
Waving her hand at Anakin's lightsaber as she thinks he may use it to escape and free his friends with it as Anakin eye it for a moment before looking back at the Queen before pulling off his lightsaber from his belt and held it closely to the Queen as he said, "I don't run away from anything, you Highness."
The Zygarrian guards came up to him as they pointed their blaster at this head to make him put down his saber or else as Anakin didn't seem to fear this as the Queen just laugh as she reach up and grab the saber from his hands before walking around him as she eye her guards, giving them a signal to be a little rough when they take him away, as soon she walks away, the guards keep their weapon pointed at him before one of them hits Anakin with the butt of their weapon.
R2 beep out as he went up and try to help his master with BD went off to the side and watch on how things goes, with R2 bump into the guard like he was malfunctioning a bit before backing up with the guards turn towards the Astro-droid with the one he bump into said, "Get off, ya miserable tin can!"
R2 beeps out again to signal his master to try and escape, as Anakin smile to this, he leap off the railing of the high building he was on, with the guards quickly turn around to hear him moving before they saw him leap down as they rush over to look down and didn't see Anakin anywhere in site as the same guard turn towards the other as he said, "Get down there and find that Jedi."
"Yes sir!" The other guard said as he soon rush towards the stair to the lower area with the first guard turning back to down below with R2 give a small whine as a signal to let Anakin know to come back at when the guard turn back to look down and notice Anakin a little too late.
Anakin stun the guard with a hit before coming down and throw the guard off the distant with a force enhance throw, with the guard cry out as he flew down below, with a sheet cover breaking his fall before it torn, with the guard fallen down further into a stand, slamming into it while all the stuff on it was crush and thrown off upon the guard impact onto it the stand, with a money like creature jump onto the guard to look at him, the guard was awake for a moment before fainting soon after.
(Back with Anakin)
The Jedi knight wipe his hand with a job well done as he turn back towards R2 as the droid give a cheerfully whistle down, with BD coming up as well beeping out happily as Anakin saw them as he said, "Nice work, pal. And good to see you BD."
The small droid beep out to him as Anakin said to him, "I guessing with you here, Andros is somewhere around isn't he then?" with BD beep again while nodding its little droid head with Anakin nodded to this as he understand as he turn back to R2 and ask him, "Anyways you find Ahsoka?"
R2 made beeping sound showing he did and thus activated his boosters to start rising up. As R2 did this BD climbed up onto Anakin's back just as the Jedi began to climb to catch up to the Astromech droid.
(With Andros and Jinga)
Jinga saw the guard flying out of the building and knew instantly what it was. "There's the signal let's move in!" Jinga called out as he in turn ran with Andros on his tail.
"Got it." Andros said and thus gave chase to his best friend to save Ahsoka and give Anakin an assist in that order.
(Meanwhile over with Miraj)
Doors opened as Count Dooku entered the throne room calmly with his hands behind his back. Miraj was on her throne as she saw Dooku enter her throne room and approach her. "I wasn't expecting you, Count. Not without an invitation." Miraj said as she looked to the leader of the CIS.
"But I was invited by your faithful advisor." Dooku said and thus caused Miraj to glare at her advisor for this as he snorted in retaliation. "He's concerned over how attached you've become to Skywalker." Dooku said as he looked to Miraj.
"Skywalker is a symbol of my." Miraj began as she rose up before stopping to correct herself. "Our power to enslave even Jedi." Miraj said as she knew what to say to hopefully get Dooku to side with her on this.
"Your power over him is an illusion." Dooku began while still approaching the Queen. "You forget I was once a Jedi myself." Dooku added knowing full well how powerful and stubborn the Jedi were.
"You have little in common with Anakin." Miraj said as she walked torts Count Dooku and taking a drink from the Twi'lek slave in the room. "Please, hear my plans for the Jedi, then decide." Miraj said as Dooku took the offered drink from the slave as well. "Right now, at my facility in the Kadavo System, Obi-Wan Kenobi is in despair." Miraj said with a sinister tone to her voice.
"I'm listening." Dooku said somewhat intrigued by what Miraj had said.
"Kenobi is coming to realize, perhaps for the first time in his life, that his effort to help others will only injure them." Miraj said as she circled her finger around the edge of her wine glass imagining the suffering Obi-Wan was going through right now while laughing a bit. "As plans for escape and hopes of rescue fade, the gnawing fear that he will never be able take action will grow in Kenobi's heart." She said almost picturing Kenobi wanting to retaliate and coming close only to stop in fear of the slaves coming to harm. "To ease the burden of his fellow slaves, defiance will become compliance." Miraj said as she painted the image of just that as she spoke. "When Kenobi realizes he cannot help those around him, his spirit will break, and he will be mine." Miraj said as Dooku paid attention to her plan.
"If such Jedi as Skywalker and Kenobi can fall, how many others will follow, hmmm?" Miraj asked as she looked to Count Dooku with her head turned to him but her back facing him. She then laughed a bit and then turned hear head away from Count Dooku. "Imagine, imagine an army of Jedi in your service." Miraj said as she laid out her end goal. "Zygerria will be invincible." Miraj said but Dooku had other plans.
"A moist ambitious plan, your highness." Dooku began turning away from Miraj. "Only my goal is not the enslavement of the Jedi Order but its extermination." Count Dooku revealed as he shocking Miraj. I've come to supervise their execution, perform it if necessary." Dooku said turning to the queen who began to scowl as Count Dooku made his way to her. "Now... summon Skywalker." Dooku commanded as he looked to the Zygerrian Queen.
(Meanwhile with Ahsoka)
Ahsoka laid in her cage as the bird creatures flew around her picking at it. Ahsoka had opted to rest so she didn't have any more hallucinations involving the Ones trying to tempt her to side with either of them. Both of them had given her options she did not agree with and in turn rest became a blessing in disguise for her. At least in her dreams they would not be able to harass her but she could feel them growing stronger inside her by the day through the Force. She knew it may not be long until they invade her dreams while she slept. Just then she felt her cage shake and in turn looked to see Andros and Jinga had arrived as Andros was on the platform while Jinga stood crouched on the cage.
"Oh look we got here first." Jinga said as Andros agreed with Jinga.
"You ok Ahsoka?" Andros asked to which Ahsoka smiled to him.
"Well, you took your time." Ahsoka said as she looked to the two.
"Yeah sorry got lost on the way." Andros said swinging his hand in front of his face showing he could not see. "Jinga." Andros called out and thus Jinga got off and out of Andros way. Once he did so Andros used the Force to lift Ahsoka's cage and lay it on the ground before them. Jinga then used the Force next to tear the cage door open and free Ahsoka and thus she began to get up and out of the cage.
"Are you ok?" Andros asked while he walked up to Ahsoka only for her to hug him happy to see Andros was alive and well.
"I should be asking you that." Ahsoka said knowing how Andros lost his sight.
Andros then pulled back and thus the two proceeded tosh are a kiss with each other while Jinga rolled his eyes in response to this. Just then before anything else Anakin was heard as he cleared his throat getting their attention. The two parted and looked to Anakin with Ahsoka seeing the Jedi Knight giving them a playful look.
"Get a room." Anakin said to which Ahsoka rolled her eyes and used the force to tear off the collar.
"I sense a disturbance in the Force." Ahsoka said as Andros agreed with Jinga nodding.
"We sensed it to." Jinga confirmed and thus Anakin looked to the three.
"It's Dooku." Anakin said before taking out a communicator. "I need you to get our ship." He said before passing the commlink to Ahsoka. "Here, take this commlink." Anakin said passing the commlink to Ahsoka.
"Where are you going?" Ahsoka asked as she looked to Anakin with her arms crossed.
"The queen knows where Obi-Wan is. Hold on to that commlink and wait for my signal." Anakin said and thus he got ready to move.
"I'm coming with you." Jinga said as he looked to Anakin. "Without your Lightsaber you'll need the extra muscle for the foes you're bound to meet." Jinga said and thus Anakin nodded to him before the two used Force Enhanced jumps to start climbing up to the throne room.
Ahsoka seeing this knew what needed to be done and with Andros lack of sight she was more worried about him. "Come on, R2." Ahsoka said and thus began to head off with R2 close behind her.
"You too BD." Andros said and thus the two headed off as the Droids followed after the Jedi Padawan and Makai Knight.
(Throne room)
"I have no desire to end Skywalker's life. He has become a valuable asset to me and my throne" The queen said to Dooku, as he responded to her, "Your compliance is not optional. I command you to kill Skywalker."
Queen Miraj slowly frown to Dookus words as he wasn't giving her the option to do much and pretty much order her, a Queen to do something as she turn around with a furious look on her face as she points her finger at Dooku as she said, "I will not be ordered about in my own palace, Count!"
"If you won't do my bidding, perhaps your prime minister will," Dooku said as he turn to the Prime minister as it seem Dooku had a backup plan for this with the Queen was confused about this as she said, "Atai, what does he mean?"
"I'm sorry, your majesty, but the count is right. The Jedi should die. You're not fit to be queen any longer," Atai said as he was backstabbing the Queen, as Miraj grunts out in anger as she said, "Atai, you traitor!"
Slamming her glass on the ground, shattering it as she said to both Dooku and Atai while bringing out her Energy whip, "I'll make you both pay for this treachery."
Dooku sighed as he raise his hand and force chock the Queen, making her gasp out in pain and raise into the air as she drops her whip as well with Dooku said, "Punishment for a slave who disobeys her master."
Suddenly the doors to the throne room were force push open, greatly by the two force users, with Dooku giving a small push by Jinga, making him drop the Queen from his force grip with Anakin said, "That's enough Dooku."
The two walk in as Dooku fix himself after being push a bit, and Queen Miraj look and saw Anakin as she reach out and said weakly, "Sky...walker." before passing out.
Dooku turn to see Jinga, feeling the force within him, the light... and the dark before turning to Anakin as he said, "I see the Queen has given you a long leash."
"That would imply that he was leash on the first place," Jinga said with Atai give a look that he agrees with that, as the two walk up with Dooku said to him, "And you must be Jinga."
"Funny, I don't remember telling my name that much, how did you know it?" Jinga said as he eye Dooku and wonder how something like him knew his name as the only time his name would be used in public would be at his trial, but stuff like that was limited to few ranking people in the Republic military ranks and councilors stuff like that as Dooku said to him, "I have my ways, but a fair warning, One more step, and I will end her life."
"Why would you think I care about this slaver scum?" Anakin said first before Jinga could say anything as last they check, they needed the Queen to tell them where the rest of Kiros colonist were at, as before anything Dooku said to him, "Indeed."
Dooku pull out his lightsaber and twirl it a bit as he showing to be challenging Anakin, but before he could, Jinga force pull the Queen back and step up with his own lightsaber as he said, "Take the Queen and get to cover. I'll hold him off."
"Jinga!" Anakin began but Jinga cut him off instead while glaring at Anakin. Clearly Jinga wanted to fight this battle himself and was not going to let anyone get in his way for it. But for what reason it was hard to tell but the fact remained that for Jinga him and Sith don't mix together very well.
"Just go!" Jinga defended as he then glared at Dooku knowing full well he knew more than just his name. Anakin feared Jinga may lose control again because this wasn't a slaver or a Horror but a Sith Lord. Jinga of course was aware of this fact and opted to progress this with caution. In turn Jinga charged in and swung his lightsaber at Dooku who easily blocked the attack with his own crimson blade.
The battle progressed as Jinga went for fast and carefully aimed attacks while Dooku deflected each of Jinga's attacks with ease. Jinga then jumped back and held his arm over his gauntlet while his Saber was in a reverse grip. Jinga then charged in and went for a few fast attacks on Dooku who blocked them all only for Jinga to use his gauntlet to block a counter attack from Dooku. Dooku then saw Jinga deactivate his saber and drop it only to catch it with his free arm and ignite it again.
Dooku was able to dodge the attack impressed with Jinga's quick thinking and ability to adjust to the battle. Jinga didn't end it there as he then threw his saber at Dooku and with the force had it spin at the Sith Lord. He then dodged the attack only for Jinga to land a punch in on Dooku and jump over him to catch his Lightsaber. Jinga was crouched down as he had deactivated his lightsaber in a reverse grip and reignited it again where the tip of the blade was at Dooku's neck. Dooku deflected the saber with his own and got room away from Jinga and in turn the two took a battle stance against each other. They began to circle one another sizing the other up as it seems Dooku may have underestimated Jinga during the initial fighting.
"Most impressive my friend where did the Jedi find you I wonder." Dooku said hoping to get information out of Jinga during this fight.
"Depends are you the master are the apprentice?" Jinga asked as he glared at Jinga to which Dooku knew the Rule of Two was common Knowledge in the galaxy for those aware of the Sith.
In turn the two once more traded blows as they swung their Lightsabers at each other with Dooku wielding it with one hand behind his back and Jinga seeing how Dooku's style had him circling around Jinga. The two then locked blades and glared at each other as violet and red flashed before their faces trying to overpower the other. "The Force is strong with you but clearly you are no Jedi." Dooku said before they parted once more and in turn Dooku pointed his Lightsaber at Jinga. "The taint of the Dark Side is rooted deep inside you in ways view could comprehend." Dooku said glaring at Jinga with a small smirk.
Jinga kept his composure as best he could but Dooku was pressing some buttons Jinga rather he not be pressing right now. Dooku of course saw this and smirked at the boy. "Your feelings betray you boy formal training you may have had a better control of your thoughts is needed." Dooku said as he could sense it something Jinga was hiding well. "Though your defenses are formidable I can make out a few key words, blood tainted by the dark." Dooku said and in turn Jinga went wide eyed to this.
Jinga then went on the attack once more only for Dooku to fire off his Force Lightning from his free hand hitting Jinga. Jinga fell to the ground and cried out in pain having no time to react but Anakin was able to act. The Jedi then used the Queen's whip and snapped it at Dooku getting his attention which resulted in Dooku firing his lighting at Anakin instead before he could retaliate. Anakin was soon on the ground for it but he refused to give in despite the pain flowing through him.
Nearby Atai saw the whole thing with a sinister grin only to hear footsteps at the door. In turn more guards ran in and saw the entire scene with the Queen on the ground. "The queen." One of them gasped when they saw the state she was in.
"She was murdered by the Jedi." Dooku lied as Anakin got up with Jinga and acted fast. Anakin pressed the commlink on his arm and activated the signal for Ahsoka and Andros.
(Back with Ahsoka and Andros)
The two were on the ship with the Droids as Ahsoka saw her communicator go off and knew it was time to move out. "That's our signal. Let's get going." Ahsoka said to the crew of one Makai Knight, One Madou Ring, and two droids.
"Got it." Andros responded as the droids beeped in agreement. Ahsoka got a move on ass he activated the ship and proceeded to take off while Andros strapped himself in for the ride. As the ship took off it flew to the Castle to pick up Anakin and Jinga and get the heck out of here.
(Back with Anakin and Jinga)
"Take your vengeance." Dooku said as Anakin and Jinga were both back on their feet ready to run for it. In turn they ran as Anakin grabbed the queen just before Dooku swung at him. Jinga blocked the attack with his lightsaber and pushed Dooku back before he and Anakin jumped away heading to the window. Laser fire was being shot at them as they made their getaway with the Queen in Anakin's arms. The two then jumped out the window and broke through the window for it where they then landed on the boarding ramp of the Zygarrian ship.
Together they entered the ship as it began to close on them for takeoff. As they flew off Anakin knew now was as time as any to get the information about Obi-Wan's location so he can rescue both him and Rex while regrouping with the other members of their team. As Anakin began to gently lay down the queen it seems her injuries were much more severe than first lead on as from the looks of it Dooku did more damage than any of them thought. "Your highness." Anakin began as Miraj then began to speak.
"No escape... for any of us." Miraj confessed as she struggled to say so. She in turn gave to Anakin his Lightsaber which he took without complaint showing a bit of respect for those not long for this world.
"Dooku must have crushed her windpipe she won't last long." Jinga said knowing full well she was in pain right now.
"Where is Obi-Wan?" Anakin asked as he had to save his master and fast. "Tell me." He urged as the Queen already had the answer for that.
"Kadavo system." The queen confessed but she was far from done. "You were right, Skywalker." She said before laughing ruefully at the irony of it all. She the Queen of a Slave Empire was nothing more than a glorified slave to count Dooku. "I am a slave, just as you are." She said before breathing her last. Jinga looked away as Anakin gently laid her down as both may hate slavers but at the very least even the dead deserve some respect for passing.
"Time to suit up." Jinga said to which Anakin agreed with the Makai Knight.
(Later with Ahsoka)
Anakin after changing and giving Ahsoka the coordinates had switched out with her so she can change into her normal attire. Andros had walked in on Ahsoka as she had sensed him a mile away looking for the sanitary station. She was currently topless and had opted to tease him a little as the door opened and Andros came in.
"Geez Andros." Ahsoka said feigning surprise and saw how Andros attempted to look away without his sight. "Ever heard of knocking?" Ahsoka teased as Andros averted his gaze and his sensory with the Force.
"Sorry I'm still getting use to this." Andros said while Ahsoka chuckled a bit.
"Well no need to look away not like you haven't seen it before." Ahsoka said to which Andros sighed solemnly to this.
"Yeah seen it." Andros said with a solemn almost rueful tone and thus Ahsoka realized what she did.
"Oh sorry." Ahsoka confessed as she looked to Andros knowing him losing his sight was still very much new to him and fresh in his mind.
"It's ok it's still new for all of us." Andros said despite how it hit close to home for him.
'Real smooth work on some tact, Ahsoka.' The Togruta Padawan mentally scolded herself as she knew she should have worded what she said better.
"Truly you are hopeless." Came the voice of the Son causing Ahsoka to go wide eyed to this.
"Don't speak." Came the daughter as she saw they were both in their humanoid forms but not exactly tempting her this time. "Just follow our instructions." She said gesturing to Andros eyes to which Ahsoka got the memo fast. She didn't exactly trust them but regardless gave them some benefit of the doubt in this regard.
"Andros." Ahsoka said as she then put her hands on Andros head with her thumbs on his eyes before closing her eyes to focus. As she did so Andros felt a shift with the Force around them as he had his eyes closed as Ahsoka did whatever it was she was doing. As Ahsoka did so the Ones vanished from her sight again and in turn when she opened her eyes again she carefully pulled her hands away from Andros head.
Andros began to open his eyes once more and the grey in them began to return to their normal color. As Andros saw nothing but blackness at first it began to make way for a blurred image and then he saw the sigh of a smiling Ahsoka to which Andros was wide eyed by this. He then looked at his hands and saw them and with it the ship they were inside of. "Ahsoka." Andros gasped as he realized he could see again.
"Hey." Ahsoka said smiling to Andros as she was surprised that actually worse as much as Andros was surprised to see again.
"I have to say this is the perfect sight to be the first thing I see again." Andros said and thus Ahsoka almost blushed at her lover's statement.
Ahsoka move closer with her chest against his as she said, "You can see more, later, but right now we have a mission to do."
"That we do, we can save it after words," Andros said as Ahsoka smile to this as she lean in and give Andros a loving kiss for a few moment before letting off as Andros asked her, "What was that for?"
"A little bit of motivation to succeed," Ahsoka said as Andros could not help but laugh a bit to this as to him… it was a good motivation as he said, "Lets gear up then."
(At the fortress)
Zygarrian guards carried Governor Roshi down the dark halls to a room filled with other Togruta inside, as they arrived, the guard thrown Roshi into the room with the 3rd one give a snarl to scare the others to back away from the door, as some went up to help their leader before the doors close.
(Fortress's command room)
Obi-wan and Rex were brought to the main control room with the fat overseer in his hover chair look at them, giving a small signal to the guards that brought them in to make the two come closer. As the guards shock with their shock staffs, making the clone trooper and Jedi go down the steps and stop just before the overseer, as the fat Zygarrian smile to this site as he said to the two, "Someone wishes to speak with you."
When the fat Zygarrian move out of the way, Count Dooku appeared as a hologram, as he was looking down at Obi-wan and Rex as he said to the master Jedi, "Obi-Wan Kenobi. In chains once again, I see."
"Count Dooku, still afraid to get your hands dirty," Obi-wan said to the Sith Lord as Dooku said to him, "I would gladly make an exception in your case, my friend. I wanted to say a proper farewell, before Keeper Agruss puts you to death."
Agruss smile and rub his hands to this as it seem he is going to enough doing it, while giving his lips a slight lick in a hungry manner, as his eyes turn slightly red, no doubt about of what he is, with Obi-wan and Rex looked at Dooku and wonder what is going to happen.
Unaware of them that an insect of sort was flying around in the room, but it was no ordinary Bug, as a close up on it, it seem to be some sort of Stag Beetle that was not native to that world... or most other worlds, to a closer look upon it, it seem to be made of metal, and has a single eye of sort as it landed on a nearby wall, it move its heard towards the conversation with its eye move slowly as the center part shrinks like a camera lens would.
(Elsewhere)
Churi was looking at a screen as she saw Obi-wan and Rex, and they were talking to Dooku as she turn up the Volume a bit to hear what was going on as she give a slight grin to this.
(Space, Kadavo System)
The transport ship that Andros, Ahsoka, Anakin, and Jinga were on, came out of hyperspace and flew towards Kadavo planet, prepared to face off against whatever is waiting for them.
With the ship landed in a landing zone, the cargo doors open, with Anakin and R2 came out first and rush off inside with Andros, Ahsoka, Jinga, and BD following after before the huge guns were turn on them.
(Command room)
A Zygarrian that was monitoring a screen of the landing zone area, he turn around and reported, "Keeper, the slave ship Tecora is making an unscheduled landing on platform two-four."
"Skywalker," Dooku said as Agruss called out an order, "Blast that ship!"
(Landing zone)
The huge guns turn their sites on the slave ship before firing upon it, as the group stop for a moment to see their ship get blasted to pieces and dodge the flying debris.
The group soon rush to the doors at the guns were soon being turn on them as they were in firing range, dodging the huge blaster shot and duck at the main doors into the fortress as Anakin said, "So much for our ride home."
"Yeah these guys know how to throw a warm welcome," Jinga said with Andros giving a small laugh to this as he said, "Right, hate to see what their farewell is like as well."
They both laugh at this, trying to keep in high spirit with Ahsoka asked, "What now?"
"We get through the old-fashioned way," Anakin said as he pull out his lightsaber with Andros and Jinga doing the same as Jinga said, "Right with you."
The three of them activated their sabers and stab through the door, with Ahsoka, R2, and BD back away as the three boys circle around towards to each other's point of each other's starting cuts.
Just then one of the shots nearly hit them but when it came close a barrier stopped it just in time. Ahsoka, R2, and BD looked and saw Churi arriving on her Madou Tool with the others. The group slid the tool to a stop in front of the door to act as cover as Shara stood with Ahsoka and the droids.
"We're here Master Skywalker." Shara greeted as she was ready for anything.
"What did we miss?" Churi asked as she and Phonon had arrows and blasters out ready to fire at the turrets to deal with them.
"Trying to open the door." Andros responded as Logos saw this wishing he had a lightsaber now.
"I have got to get me one of those." Logos said as he knew a few black market guys who sold lightsabers from dead Jedi. Ok on second thought maybe getting one is a bad idea in the long run. "Keep going we'll cover you!" Logos called out as he helped as best he could.
(Control Room)
Dooku saw the entire thing play out as he then looked to Shara with an amused smile on his face. "Well, Kenobi I did not know you took on a new Padawan learner." Dooku said as he looked to Obi-Wan. "Regardless tell your young friend Skywalker if he does not surrender, the slaves will be terminated in his name." Dooku threatened the Jedi while he looked to Obi-Wan with a glare.
(Back with the group)
R2 beeped in panic as he nearly got hit forcing him to roll back. Just then the side panel activated as the group heard who it was. "Anakin! Shara! I'm glad to see you, but I'm afraid our host feels otherwise." Obi-Wan said as Shara nearly gasped when she saw how bruised Obi-Wan was.
"You can't make everyone happy, master." Anakin quipped as the group was almost through the door.
"They're threatening to kill the slaves unless you surrender." Obi-Wan warned them causing Anakin to glare at Obi-Wan while Shara went wide eyed to this.
"It's good to see you're always ready to negotiate." Anakin said lightening the mood with a bit of his humor. "But I've had enough bargaining with slave drivers." Anakin said with his tone changing to show his contempt for Slavers.
"Master Skywalker maybe we should consider this." Shara said as she looked to Anakin hoping to get him to agree with Obi-Wan.
"She's right Anakin this is a fight you cannot win alone." Obi-Wan said to which Anakin smirked a bit.
"Who said I was alone?" Anakin asked with a smirk on his face to which the others heard this.
(Space)
Just then a in the vacuum of space a fleet of Republic warships came out from hyperspace to the Kadavo System. From there the leading ship released Plo-Koon's Starfighter with his Clone Pilots forming up behind him while launching. In turn they all began to fly to the planet to rescue the colonists and their team on the ground.
(Control Room)
"Keeper, a fleet of warships has dropped out of hyperspace in sector six." A Zygarrian said as he looked to the keeper.
"Jedi reinforcements." Argus said realizing what was happening while looking over to Dooku.
(Plo-Koon)
The fighters and gunships all flew in with the smaller warship with them to help the colonists. Plo-Koon lead the assault as he intended to help those Colonists and their troops on the ground. "Wolf Leader to wolf pack accelerate to attack speed." Plo-Koon ordered as he looked to his 'wolf pack,' through the communications.
(Clone Fighter)
In another fighter a Clone Trooper was ready as he began to speak up. "This is Warthog. We're going in." He announced and thus they began their attack.
(Battle)
Zygarrian troops came out and began firing upon the fighters but they were good as they flew by and hit the gun turrets and the facility as well causing it damage.
(Control Room)
The room shook from the battle and damage the facility took and it was double considering it was over a seemingly bottomless pit. Obi-Wan taking advantage of this acted as he used the Force to get the collar off of Rex. "Rex! Now!" He ordered and thus got his own collar off.
"About time." Rex said and thus they got to work. Obi-Wan back flipped from his slaver captor and smashed his cuffed hands into one guard knocking him down. He then dodged the laser fire from a rifle wielding one with ease. He then raised his arms and allowed the beam to hit the handcuffs freeing him from them with ease.
(Battle)
Plo-Koon's fighter made another pass to the Turrets and fired upon them but like before the fighter did nothing to them.
(Plo-Koon)
"Those towers are ray shielded." Plo-Koon said as he saw what had happened.
(With the group)
"Oh yeah the cavalry has arrived!" Logos cheered as he saw this only to dodge a stray shot.
"Get down you idiot!" Churi ordered yanking Logos down to their cover. "How much longer?" Churi asked as she looked to the three Lightsaber wielders on the door.
"Almost there!" Andros called out as they almost got through.
"I hope you told Master Plo not to destroy this facility before we get off of it." Ahsoka said as she looked to Anakin.
"Yeah, all of us and the slaves." Anakin added as Andros knew they had a time table now to get this done.
Once they were through Anakin kicked the door down and charged in with Ahsoka getting worried. "We'll need a bigger ship." Ahsoka said as Shara went in next.
"Go!" Andros called out as Churi, Logos, and Phonon ran through the hole with the others.
Once they were inside they were quickly assaulted by guards to which Anakin quickly dispatched them killing them shocking the Makai Group. "What?" Anakin asked to which Andros controlled himself.
"Nothing." Andros said just before laser fire came through the hole.
"Oh come on!" Logos said as he and Phonon ran to cover.
"We'll cover you here the rest of you find Obi-Wan and the slaves!" Phonon called out as he passed a blaster to Phonon and set it to stun.
"Hold the line then." Shara said and thus the group of Anakin, Shara, Andros, Ahsoka, Churi, and Jinga ran into the facility to find the slaves and their missing teammates.
Once they were gone LOGOs fired the blaster as he saw the Zygarrians approach. "Jeez how did they get behind us and we missed it?" Logos asked trying to make sense of it.
"Less talking more shooting!" Phonon said as he fired his arrows also set up to hit the Zygarrians with Tasers as to avoid any deaths by any of their hands at all costs.
(Battle)
Some Zygarrians troops rushes towards their ship and take off to fight the Republic forces, as the hack closes up and ships started to take off, suddenly there was a stalling sound with the Zygarrians fighters suddenly collapse back down and started to smoke.
Inside one of the fighters, as a Zygarrian soldier cough a bit as smoke was in the cockpit, on his screen Churi face appeared as it started laughing before it slowly turn into a skull with two cross bones behind it as it give a terrifying laughing sound effect. (Independence Day virus laugh scene)
The Zygarrians that saw this were shocked as their ship were sabotage before the battle even began, no doubt Churi has been busy it seem, as overhead, they were ignored by Clone troop fighters as they focus their fire upon the towers that were being ray shielded.
(Plo fighter squad)
One Clone fighters flew over and saw from above the down ships below as he said, "It seem our strange friends has given us a hand!"
"Keep your focus, warthog. Watch out for those towers!" Master Plo said as the Zygarrians fighters maybe down but those towers are the true threat at the moment.
(Battle)
The towers aimed at the fighters but unable to hit them, soon enough the transport ship came flying in, with the towers targeting for those next, with two of the three ship escape, one ship wasn't so lucky as many shots hit in, with the last one killing the clone pilot in the cockpit of it, and the ship itself came down and crash into the side wall of that pit the fortress hung over.
(Control room)
Obi-wan and Rex were still fighting off the Zygarrians guards and troops inside, with Rex now free of his bonds, fight against a guard with a shock rod, with the explosion from the ship that crash outside shaken up the fortress, throwing the guard off balance with Rex taking advantage of by tackling him, and punch at him, venting his anger upon them, no doubt from all the crap they put him and Obi-wan through.
With Obi-wan grab at a Zygarrian troop's blaster before he has a chance to fire it and just wrestle with him to the group with Argus is seen rushing over to the controls of the room the Togrutas are in. As he began to type in commands Obi-Wan saw what he was doing and went wide eyed. "NO!" Obi-Wan cried out as he saw this but alas he was too late as Argus slammed his hand onto the controls activating it while smirking at Obi-Wan.
(Togruta)
The walls then all went off as those who were to close were shocked by them and their collars. "The walls, they're electrified!" Roshi cried out in horror as he saw this. The colonists began to panic as they saw this as they tried to keep their distance from the walls in question.
(Back at the Control Room)
Rex continued fighting off a Guard as with a few punches he managed to acquire his staff and proceeded to shock the guard with it. In doing so he fell down and in turn Rex was ready for more. Argus acted fast as he began to type in more commands and in turn smirked as he was going to win even if he loses.
(Togruta)
The floors began to open up below them revealing the abyss. By instinct alone they began to step away from the ledge but the more they did so the closer they came to the electrified walls. It was clear they would either be shocked and then fall or just plain out fall to their deaths if something wasn't done soon.
(Command Deck)
Argus began to stab the controls destroying them before he jumped back to his throne. He was not going to let the Jedi or the Republic win. Argus began to laugh as Obi-Wan ran over to the controls hoping some of it survived to save the Colonists. "Then Controls are destroyed, Master Plo." Obi-Wan said into his communicator showing the urgency in his voice. "There's nothing we can from here!" The Jedi added to which they needed a new plan to save the Colonists.
(Plo-Koon)
As Plo flew his fighter firing at the turrets to try and destroy them he heard what Obi-Wan said but he too was having problems. "I cannot move the cruiser in for the rescue operation until those enemy cannons are destroyed." Plo said and thus wishing Churi got those as well.
"We'll take care of those Cannons." Anakin was heard and thus Plo knew he could count on Anakin to handle it.
(The group)
"Just make sure that cruiser gets down here. We are running out of time!" Anakin added as they ran through the halls with Churi throwing tags at the walls for some odd reason.
"We need to split up!" Churi called out as she kept running.
"I'll go help my people! Try to see if I can buy us some time!" Ahsoka said as Anakin nodded to this.
"I'll go with you!" Andros called out and thus Anakin knew he could count on them.
"Good luck!" Anakin called out and thus Andros and Ahsoka headed to where the Togruta were kept.
"I'll go with Shara to help Rex and Obi-Wan!" Churi said and thus the Priestess and the Jedi Padawan parted ways with Anakin to go help the Jedi and Clone Trooper.
(Obi-Wan and Rex)
Rex was seen fighting off a Guard as they fought for the staff. It wasn't until Rex head-butt the Zygarrian and thus knocked him down and out. In turn the door opened behind him showing more guards coming in only for one of them to be force pulled away and the other being kicked in the head by Churi.
"What did I miss?" Churi asked as she ran in while applying the last tag to the back wall behind her.
"The controls can you fix them?" Rex asked hoping that was an option.
"No not with a Horror in the room." Churi said as Obi-Wan heard this as Argus quickly went wide eyed. "Give me five seconds." Churi said as she knew who to call for this.
(Back with Andros and Ahsoka)
The two arrived where the colonists were being kept and began looking around for a way to open the door. Ahsoka then saw the console and began to access it and within moments the door opened up. The two jumped onto the platform with the other Togruta and began to look around for a way to save them.
"Jedi." A Togruta gasped happy to see them even though Andros wasn't a Jedi. In the back of the group though a stray Togruta saw Ahsoka and nearly went wide eyed when she saw her almost like she recognized her by instinct alone.
(Back with Logos and Phonon)
The two had to take cover being pinned down to which Logos cried out in frustration to this. "I am not a fucking soldier why are we even here at this point?!" Logos yelled as he wanted out now.
"Blame the Jedi for killing the Ones, blame the Senate for making this call, or blame Andros for nominating us take your pick!" Phonon yelled back as they ducked and cover.
Just then Anakin ran in and began deflecting the laser shots back at the soldiers giving the two Knights cover. "Need a hand?" Anakin asked as he looked to the two.
"Yeah we can use it." Phonon said and thus Anakin nodded.
"We'll cover you so get those turrets!" Logos called out and thus Anakin went into action. He began deflecting the incoming shots and sliced through some of the Zyggarrians while Logos and Phonon gave the Jedi cover. Once Anakin got to the nearest tower the area was clear enough for the two Knights to pick off the rest. Anakin proceeded to Force Jump to the top and did a second jump to the turret where he then found the hatch. Once he opened it he was then fired upon but dodged it with ease as clearly this guy was a terrible shot. Once Anakin ignited his Lightsaber he took care of the two Zygarrians inside and took control of the turret.
Once he did so he took aim at the other turrets and began to fire upon them destroying them. Once he got the last one Anakin went to his communicator and acted. "We're all clear, Master Plo." Anakin said as he spoke into his communicator. "Bring the cruiser down to the landing pad." Anakin ordered until Ahsoka was heard.
"Cancel that order, Master!" Ahsoka was heard as she had a reason. "There's no time to get the people out of the holding cell and up to the landing platform." Ahsoka said as she was in a bad situation right now.
(Andros and Ahsoka)
"But I have an idea." Ahsoka said as she looked around. "We need to have the cruiser move in underneath the facility." Ahsoka said as she began to explain her plan. "We can escape onto the ship if Admiral Colburn can get in close enough." Ahsoka said knowing he was the key to make it happen.
(Cruiser)
Colburn hearing the orders turned to Commander Wolfe and began to give the order. "You heard Commander Tano. I want the men topside with rocket packs and cable guns. Move it!" He ordered and the Clones got moving.
"Yes, sir!" Wolfe called out and headed to save the Colonists and in turn the ship got moving.
(Back with Andros and Ahsoka)
Andros was trying to calm the Togruta hoping to get them all to be at ease for what was to come. "Ok listen we're going to get you all out of here just stay calm and wait." Andros said giving off a calming aura as best he could. But thanks to his Empath abilities he could tell they were all scared beyond their wits. "Ahsoka will get you all out of here trust in her." Andros said and in turn the Togruta began to calm some all save for one.
As the Togruta headed over to Andros she looked to him getting his attention. She was in her 40's if his assumption was correct but what shocked Andros was that she looked like an older version of Ahsoka. "Pardon did you say that Jedi was named Ahsoka, Ahsoka Tano?" The Togruta asked as she looked to Andros.
"Y-yes." Andros stuttered as he looked to her. "Do you two know each other?" Andros asked hoping a conversation of sorts would calm them in some form.
"Yes and no." The woman said solemnly as she looked to Andros but avoided looking to Ahsoka. "She does not know me but I know her or of her at least. After all a mother never forgets her child." The Togruta said surprising Andros to no end as he looked to the Togruta and then back to Ahsoka before his eyes went back to the Togruta woman claiming to be Ahsoka's mother.
"What is your name?" Andros asked as he needed to be sure when he looked her up later to confirm what she said.
"Atana." She introduced as she looked to Andros. "And you are?" Atana asked wanting to know who this boy was unaware he and her daughter.
"Andros Ruststorm." Andros introduced as he looked to Atana as it seems there conversation was having some sort of calming effect on the other Togruta.
"Heh... I haven't seen her since she was a child." Atana said looking to Ahsoka with both sadness and pride. "She was three when the Jedi came and took her." She said remembering that day and the honor she felt when Ahsoka was found to be Force Sensitive enough for Jedi Training.
"It was Master Plo who took her if what I'm told is correct." Andros said as he looked to Atana while keeping his voice down so Ahsoka doesn't catch wind.
"What is she like?" Atana asked to which Andros smirked knowing how he can use this to motivate her to have hope in escape.
"All I can say is that you would be proud of her. I say this because you can see for yourself when we get you all out of here." Andros said as he looked to Atana ready to get her to safety. Atana of course saw the way he spoke about Ahsoka and noted how her name left his lips when commenting about her. Clearly the two were close to each other but no doubt Andros wanted her to have faith in their escape. Even if it was from afar Atana had faith her daughters plan would succeed.
(Meanwhile with Obi-Wan)
Obi-Wan exercised caution knowing he had little chance at besting a Horror. As Churi looked she stunned a guard and left him on the ground before getting to cover. Once she was she looked and saw the Horror getting to the X. Once she saw this she went to her communicator and contacted a familiar face. "Phonon its time." She said as she smirked to this and got started.
"Rex duck when I tell you to!" Churi called out and started the timer.
(With Phonon)
Phonon hearing Churi's words got up and got ready to summon his armor. He proceeded to cut two energy circles on either side of himself and in turn his armor shot out. Thus Phonon again began Gai and quickly notched up an Arrow. He aimed for one of Churi's tags and proceeded to fire the arrow at it smirking as it sailed as a beam of light.
(The Arrow)
The arrow began to bounce off Churi's tags as it went torts its intended destination. With each bounce the arrow became stronger with the momentum it was building up. It came closer and closer to where the control room was as Churi had set it up so Phonon can cut down the Horror from afar.
(Control Room)
"Five." Churi began as she saw the Horror was almost at the X. "Four, Three, Two." Churi said as she then looked to Obi-Wan and Rex. "One. GET DOWN!" Churi called out and in turn Rex and Obi-Wan saw the arrow coming and got to cover. The Zygarrian who was now on the X never saw it coming as it bounced off the nearby wall in the room and hit the Zygarrian in the head and proceeded to pin it to the other screen. What made it shocking was the fact when the arrow had hit his mouth split open showing he was in fact a Horror and as a Horror his body turned to dust while the arrow converted into a sealing dagger. Churi retrieved the dagger and smirked as she saw the group.
"How did you know?!" Obi-Wan asked as Churi then showed off her little bug.
"Had these guys scurrying about and saw him eat a Slave." Churi said as Rex then had another question.
"And how did you know a shot like that would work?" Rex asked to which Churi smirked to this.
"Oh I didn't." She added causing both Jedi and Clone to go wide eyed to this at the gamble Churi had made showing she really earned that nickname as the luckiest Priestess in the Order. In turn Shara got a bit worried at how that could have gone horrible wrong for them.
(Battle)
The Gunships and fighters escorted the cruiser below the facility to catch the Colonists and carry them to safety. As the ship came in it took down a sensory tower hanging off below the facility with the rest grinding on the hull showing that this was a tight fit. Once it was in position the Clones got moving and activated there jet packs. They then fired off the cable guns and in turn made a path for the Togruta colonists to climb down to the ship below.
Seeing this Andros and Ahsoka got to work. "Ok, everyone. Get ready." Ahsoka said before Andros jumped in.
"We'll have to go by groups." Andros added and thus the Togruta nodded and began to climb down.
(With the Group)
"Come on lets go people we aint getting any younger!" Logos called out as Phonon who had called off his armor let Anakin, Obi-Wan, Rex, and Shara through. The group of six boarded the gunship that had landed to pick them off before it went off.
(Back with Ahsoka and Andros)
As Ahsoka and Andros made sure the people got off smoothly a Togruta woman tried to reach to the cables. But she couldn't do so as it had grown far for her to grasp. Thus she ended up slipping and falling which resulted in her screaming in panic to this. "Ahsoka!" Andros called out as Ahsoka saw this.
"I got her!" Ahsoka called out and jumped down the ledge to the ship. Ahsoka managed to get down before the woman and in turn caught her in her arms smiling to her. "Gotcha." Ahsoka said calmly happy to see she was ok.
A few more were almost down and Andros quickly realized they weren't all going to get down before the platform was gone. It proved true as two Togruta fell off when one had slipped. Luckily two Clones caught them and carried them down. Andros seeing this realized Atana wouldn't make it and grabbed her bridal style causing her to yelp in shock. Andros then jumped down and used the Force to soften his landing as best he could but once he landed he let Atana off and smiled to her before she nodded.
"Thank you." She said and thus went to join her people.
"That's everyone. We have to go. The facility is breaking up." The Clone Trooper said and in turn they all began to guide the Togruta into the ship where a full medical team was ready for any sick or injured.
(Later with Anakin)
"Ok, Master Plo. The cruiser is clear!" Anakin called out to his communicator as Churi knew fireworks were on the way.
(Plo)
"All gunships fire!" Plo-Koon ordered as it was time to bury this nightmare.
(Battle)
The Gunships fired off their heavy ordnances and hit the support beams for the Facility. As it all came tumbling down the Zygarrians quickly began escaping as best they could as the Smuggler Churi called in for those who fell began to transport the others whom fell first to the Cruiser.
Andros knew that despite this many were very well scarred for life and would need counseling from their ordeal. But he was just glad the nightmare ended for those who had suffered.
(Scene Break Republic Cruiser)
Later the Togruta were being looked over all around as Shara looked to Andros happy to see his eye sight was back. They walked with the Governor as Plo-Koon, Andros, BD, Jinga, Anakin, R2, Ahsoka, Shara, and Obi-Wan all walked with Roshi. "I thank you, the Jedi, and the Republic for saving our lives." Roshi said but his tone was a solemn one.
"Ahsoka is the real here. Without her creativity, I don't think we would have gotten your people to safety." Anakin said as Andros was content being the guy in the background never known but always there.
"Indeed. Padawan Tano, might I have a word in Private?" Roshi asked with a smile as he looked to Ahsoka.
"Of course." Ahsoka said and thus Andros gave Ahsoka and Roshi some privacy with the others
"Ahsoka, you have done a great deed for your people today." Roshi said as he looked to Ahsoka but his tone had a sort of sadness to it.
"You're sad?" Ahsoka asked confused as to why he was sad.
"Well, you and the Jedi have don your best, but I do not think our people will recover from this horror anytime soon." Roshi said as Ahsoka heard this and agreed.
"I understand." She began before turning to Roshi. "But in the end, surviving this will only strengthen the people." Ahsoka said as Roshi heard her. "A close friend of mine would also say that healing be it physical or not is a process that takes time but it will happen regardless." Ahsoka said as Roshi nodded.
"Perhaps but this friend sounds wise." Roshi said as he had more to add. "And perhaps the people of Kiros will also join the Republic." Roshi said and thus Ahsoka smiled at this good news.
"I think that's a wise choice, Governor." Ahsoka said bowing and sowing her respect to the Governor. As Roshi walked away Andros walked back over to Ahsoka and bumped his shoulder to hers getting her attention. As Ahsoka saw this the two discretely linked hands and looked to the Governor and new that the people of Kiros were going to be ok. They would be taking the people back to Kiros and once they were sure they're world was secured and save head on back to Coruscant.
But until then they had time to rest and relax for a bit. Churi seeing the two smiled and knew that these two were going to go the distance together. Destiny was changing in many ways but somethings be it great or small remained the same now the question was how has destiny changed and in what ways moving forward in this Galaxy spanning war.
