(Start Jinga's Apartment)
Jinga was doing deep research on the final Tomb. He knew what it required by he was researching ways to bypass it. It was late at night and he was in the Order provided apartment as he searched for an alternative method. He had kept this secrets a close guarded one as the table was covered in notes and historical text. On it was the Sith Holocron he had watched sentinel of as he tried to search. The images on one of the historical text showed the exact same Holocron, a hooded Sith, and a Knife when used in unison would open a path of some sort.
Jinga knew the tomb all but demanded this but he could not do it. Not only was his blood not pure but also because doing so would all but announce what he was. He couldn't and wouldn't do that because simply put he was still running. Not even Barriss was aware he had this Holocron with him as despite how close they had grown he could not let her know about it. "Jinga." Barriss was heard making Jinga go wide eyed and quickly hid the Holocron in the satchel that carried the notes.
"Barriss." Jinga greeted with a smile as he looked to Barriss.
"It's awfully late love maybe you should rest." Barriss offered as she looked to Jinga.
"Barriss when hunting Horrors I sometimes have to go an entire night without sleep." Jinga defended as Barriss smiled knowing Jinga could worth with little to no rest unlike herself or most others.
"Yes but even a Knight should rest when he has a lovely wife waiting for him." Barriss said wrapping her arms around Jinga as he smiled to her. She then took note of the notes as she skimmed through them. "Still trying to find another way into the tomb?" Barriss asked with concern knowing why Jinga was obsessing over this.
"Yes." Jinga confessed as he looked to the notes.
"Jinga I understand why but if after two tombs you still haven't found a way maybe it's time you come clean." Barriss said as she looked to Jinga.
"Barriss you know why I can't." Jinga said as he knew how the Jedi would respond to this. Yoda's species were a bit of a staple for the Jedi as the Jedi were literally the only group to ever find them. With their long life span they have proven to be among the wisest of the Jedi Order many times over. The Sith Species were ones like what Yoda's species were a staple to the Sith Order before the fall of the Sith Empire. If the Jedi found out the Sith Species had survived the purges then he feared that they may become paranoid and believe the Sith Order had survived beyond the Lineage of Bane and start something of a witch hunt for them. Yes there were many possibilities of how this could turn out but that one was one of the top he knew could happen.
"I know Jinga but it's something to consider." Barriss said as Jinga sighed and rubbed his eyes and thus Barriss began to rub his shoulders a bit. "Now come on love let's rest ok." Barriss said and thus Jinga knew he was beaten.
Jinga smiled and began to get up as he could use some sleep after all. "Alright love." Jinga said ready for much needed sleep. Barriss smiled and took Jinga's hand to guide him to the bedroom to rest. Like she said Jinga needed his rest and he was putting too much effort into finding a way to bypass the door into the tomb.
(Scene Break Andros apartment Morning)
The morning sun rose upon an apartment in Coruscant as Andros was seen sleeping in bed still. Andros was a known heavy sleeper as with his line of work it made sense why he slept in most times. But last night was not a work night for him as he was currently bare chested while sleeping. He then began to cringed and awaken knowing the sun wasn't going to let up. He then turned to his side and saw his orange skinned lover laying there peacefully asleep. He couldn't believe she even said yes to this which made Andros grateful that he was so blessed. He wondered if they were moving too fast but in times of war time was not a luxury easily enjoyed.
Obi-Wan had gone off to hunt down some person named Maul and Shara had been put under Ahsoka's care during that. In fact Ahsoka had become Shara's stand in Jedi Master when Obi-Wan was not around. Despite it being a test run for Ahsoka she really began to look like a proper teacher despite using Anakin's methods at times. It also helped that she was considering getting an apprentice but she wasn't comfortable with it yet. She still felt like she needed more time before she took on a full time apprentice. So as Andros smiled to her he got up and kissed her lekku making her moan a bit no doubt still sensitive from before he then kissed her cheek making her smile in her sleep before Andros got up and grabbing some pants.
(Later)
Ahsoka was covered up in a robe as she joined Andros in the kitchen where he was serving some breakfast. "Morning." Ahsoka greeted to her lover as she joined him at the table. Andros noted she was absolutely glowing right now and he doubt it was from the night before.
"Good morning." Andros greeted as he smiled to his girlfriend setting her food up. He wanted to make sure she had a large meal before she headed out on her next assignment. The Makai Order was still trying to figure out how to access the final tomb but so far it was like they ran into a wall on this. Andros didn't mind it as it gave him time to spend with his beloved. Ahsoka though had seemed off lately especially after helping Lux with Death Watch.
"Breakfast smells nice." Ahsoka said as Andros noted she was hiding something from him he could sense it. "Special occasion?" Ahsoka joked to which Andros decided to play her game.
"Just making sure you have all the strength you need for your next mission." Andros said as he smiled to his beloved Jedi.
"Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve you." Ahsoka smiled as she began to eat her food. But as she did so she had to cover her mouth as if the food would not stay down.
"Ahsoka?" Andros asked as he headed over to Ahsoka and looked her over. "Are you ok?" Andros asked as he walked over to her. But when his hand touched hers he felt it was shaking in it. "Ahsoka... you're shaking." Andros said as he began to grow even more concerned for her.
"Andros..." Ahsoka began as she knew she had to tell him now or she won't be able to later. "I'm ok... it's just something amazing has happened." Ahsoka said as she then moved her hand to her flat toned stomach. "I'm pregnant." Ahsoka revealed making Andros go wide eyed to this.
"That's... that's incredible." Andros confessed amazed that Ahsoka was carrying his child or children.
But it wasn't long until the situation dawned to them. "What are we going to do?" Ahsoka asked knowing this would not be easy to hide. If it was the other way around maybe but not like this.
"We'll think of something." Andros said as he looked to Ahsoka holding her hand tightly.
"I'll still have to fight in the war if we hide this." Ahsoka said to which she knew she'd be putting their child at risk. "And no I'm not going to convince Anakin to let me stay via orders." Ahsoka defended as she glared at Andros who was about to suggest just that.
"We'll figure it out." Andros said trying to save some face to which Ahsoka chuckled to this.
"Regardless." Zaruba spoke as the two looked to there the Madou Ring was perched. "I can tell the lineage of the Golden Knight will carry on." Zaruba said knowing the unborn child will carry on the legacy of Garo.
(Scene Break Jedi Temple Council Room)
The Jedi Council was gathered as they were receiving communication from the Rebels of Onderon as among them was Lux. Andros was in the room as well with Churi both acting as liaisons from the Order. Ahsoka and Anakin stood in the middle of the room as they listened to the communication from Lux.
"Unfortunately, the only way to reclaim Onderon will be through armed struggle. But we lack sufficient hardware and supplies." Lux said as he looked to the Jedi.
"Onderon is in your King's rule and at the outbreak of the Clone War he chose to align it with the Separatists." Obi-Wan said with information currently provided.
Just then the man with Lux stepped up to convince Obi-Wan to have the Jedi aid them. "Our true king has been silenced. The one you recognized is a traitor and a Separatist Minion." The man said as he looked to the Jedi. "We need your help to survive this." The man said until Yoda spoke up.
"Find a way... we shall." Yoda said as he wished to provide aid to these Rebels.
"We await your answer." Lux said with a bow before smiling to Ahsoka and ending the communication.
Anakin in turn began to speak to get the conversation rolling. "There are pockets of rebels on many of these planets that just need guidance. With training and resources they could attack soft targets while the Republic continues to engage them on the battlefield." Anakin explained as Obi-Wan then spoke up.
"That sounds like Terrorism, Anakin." Obi-Wan said showing he was concerned about that.
"Well, I think of it as an insurgency to help realign these planets with the Republic." Anakin said as he looked to the Jedi Council.
"We can divide the Separatist Forces and them on two fronts." Windu said seeing Anakin's logic.
"A means to an end fear cannot be." Yoda said as he looked to Windu. "Stop those who spread terror the Jedi must." Yoda said as he was being cautious with this line of discussion.
"Indeed. What you're suggesting would open up dangerous possibilities. And we must not train Terrorists." Obi-Wan urged as he looked to Anakin.
"Rebels." Anakin said as he and Ahsoka were part of this conversation as well.
"How we conduct war is what distinguishes us from others." Obi-Wan began as he began a bit of a scolding tone. "Funding Rebels to overthrow a legitimate government puts innocent lives at risk." Obi-Wan said as he looked to Anakin and Ahsoka.
"We can minimize collateral damage by using arms that mainly affect droids." Anakin said just as Windu spoke up.
"The Least we can do is help them defend themselves test the tactics while we're at it." Windu said as he looked to Anakin and Ahsoka.
Anakin smirked and chuckled as he looked to the group. "This could be a great new weapon for us." Anakin said as Andros heard this growing a bit concerned as with Ahsoka. Ahsoka kept her feelings in check but she worried for her unborn child. If worse comes to worse she feared that this could backfire on them greatly. Obi-Wan rubbed his beard as he was worried how this could turn into a huge political disaster if they aren't careful about this.
Yoda then hummed as he thought this path over being extra careful on it. "Train and observe. Send Advisors we will." Yoda said as he looked to the group.
"I'll assemble a team." Anakin said as he already had a good idea who he wanted on his team.
"I'm going with you." Obi-Wan said as this was the perfect opportunity to see if Shara was ready for more responsibilities.
Anakin laughed a bit as he saw this. "What, you don't trust me?" Anakin asked as he looked to Obi-Wan.
"Too much." Obi-Wan said as he walked and stood in front of Anakin with a small smile on his face "That's what worries me." Obi-Wan said putting a hand on Anakin's shoulder showing he trusted Anakin. But he also had too much trust in him on this. "Bringing our friends from the dark will also be a major requirement seeing as we have to deal with Horrors at the same time." Obi-Wan said having a hunch on this particular mission after all.
(Scene Break Onderon)
A ship flew to Onderon on the side where its night time, no doubt wanted to reach the rebel base under the cover of darkness, As a clone pilot call out on coms as he said, "This is Valkyrie 2929. We're coming up on the drop zone."
Soon enough as the ship came to a halt and hover in the air the cargo doors opened up as Anakin, Obi-wan, Shara, Ahsoka Andros, Jinga, Barriss, Logos, Churi, Phonon, and Rex in a Rebel outfit with a jet back as everyone leap down from the ship.
With the Makai members who didn't have the force use the trees to grab on too and leap down from, or use a wire to catch themselves, with all force user landed safely, while the clone hover down with his jet pack safely as they all hid around as they watch the ship that drop them off fly away soon enough after.
"Alright, remember the mission, locate the rebel forces here on Onderon," Andros said with Jinga spoken up saying, "And keep eyes and ears out for anything, good chance horror could be lurking around."
"Got it team knights lets go," Logos said as everyone looked at him because of that name he just come up with, as he then said, "Or just team?"
Some of them just roll his eyes as everyone just focus at the task at hand as they travel through the forest as everyone spread out so they didn't get caught all together with Anakin and the clone trooper following him, Andros and Ahsoka stick together with their hoods on, with Jinga and Barriss were together sticking to the shadows of the forest grounds, with Obi-wan and Shara following his lead as the student follow the teacher.
Everyone else were on their own as they keep silent and travel in the dark forest, with someone hidden in the growth of the forest as they saw Anakin and the clone troop rush pass their spot as the person raise his wrist and use their coms as they reported, with a male voice "We've spotted them, sir."
Suddenly he found a knife at his neck as Churi somehow gotten behind him as she said in a tone that scare the shit out of the guy, "Rebels or separatists, you got 2 seconds to answer before death."
"R-rebels! Please don't kill me," the man said as Churi let off the knife as she said in normal tone, "Don't worry, I don't harm people, as sometimes fear does make people tell the truth, so sorry about that."
"I see you saw him as well," Phonon voice came as well as the guy turn and saw the Chiss there surprise as he didn't hear him walk up with all the growth around them as Churi held up some goggles that seem like thermal vision and said, "I had a little help."
"Anyways, we're with the republic on the request to help some rebel forces on this planet, would you mind lead us to them, please," Phonon said as the guy is surprise by their action as he just nods.
(Anakin)
As the Jedi knight walk through the forest as suddenly a woman on a mount ride up to him, as the woman said, "Stay where you are."
Anakin turn and saw another person on a mount gotten behind the clone troop with a weapon in hand, as the woman soon asked Anakin, "Identify yourselves."
He soon lifted his hood as he soon look up at the woman to say, "It's all right. We're friends."
"Jedi," the woman said as another voice called out, "And others too."
suddenly the other members came out as they landed on the ground, tree stumps, and near the others, with the rebel guy that Phonon and Churi found earlier came up as Churi soon said, "Thank for leading us, you may go."
The guy nodded as the woman is surprise by this as they look to the others as Andros lifted up his hood while he sense the few people around, as he felt no ill intent from anyone as he said, "Hello we are with the republic on your request for help, to the obvious you're the ones we are looking for."
The woman nodded as Ahsoka lifted up her hood as she said to her, "I'm Commander Tano. We're here to help you take back your planet."
"My name is Steela. I'll guide you to our secret base," Steela said as soon enough they group was on the move with Andros keeping his senses sharp as there's no telling what else could be lurking in the forest still.
(Scene break)
The group travel as morning came with the early sun light shining above as the group grew closer to the base, with Steela stop while held up her hand to halt the group, as they did, She look around the area before she give a nod to continue, soon enough the group arrived at a ruins which seem like the rebels were using as their base for the time being.
Soon enough as riders on wing beast came up with one on top of an arc way as he look down at the group with caution as they enter into the rebel territory.
AS the group enter, rebel soldiers around were talking and having a run chat but stop when they notice the group, with Obi-wan soon committed, "Hmm. A bit rough around the edges, wouldn't you say?"
"Well they are a rebel group, not a military group, some of them maybe civilians," Churi said as Anakin soon said to them, "That why I brought Rex here."
"They're not exactly what I would call shinnies', sir," Rex said as he looks at everyone before he went on saying, "But I could work with them."
The creature on the archway with the rider took flight before they came down and landed in front of them. The rider got off and made his way to the group as he saw them. "General Skywalker." The rebel greeted as he looked to them.
"At your service." Anakin greeted with a smile to this. "This is General Kenobi, Commander Tano, Commander Offee, Commander Starchaser, and Captain Rex." Anakin began introduced the Republic group. "And these are the Specialists." He added gesturing to the Makai group as well. "Andros, Jinga, Churi, Logos, and Phonon." Anakin said introducing the group as a whole.
"Specialist?" Logos asked only for Logos to elbow him for that one.
"A big group." The Rebel said as he looked to the group. "But just mean bigger chances of success. We're looking forward to taking the fight to those scrapping droids." He said and thus Obi-Wan spoke up.
"Yes. All in good time." Obi-Wan confirmed as he saw this one was a bit eager.
In turn the Rebel started his own introduction. "Saw. Saw Gerrera." Saw introduced as he looked to the Republic aids.
"He fashions himself as our leader though no one elected him." Steela quipped in as she punched his arm playfully for this.
"Well, for now, we're in charge." Anakin began as Logos heard this.
"Yes!" He called out with a cheer and Anakin smirked.
"Except for Logos." Anakin added causing Logos to scowl to this.
"Dammit!" He cursed as Andros smirked to this while Jinga stiffened a chuckle.
"And there is much to learn." Anakin finished and in turn they knew training was about to begin.
(Later)
After the Rebels were gathered the Jedi, Makai Order, and Clone stood before the Rebels as they needed to get this out of the way. "The Separatists have strength in numbers. We're gonna show you how to target and destroy them." Anakin said as he looked to the group.
Obi-Wan then stepped as to clarify a key bit of information. "Now, to be clear, we are not here to fight your war rather, to show you how to conduct it in the most efficient and successful way possible." Obi-Wan explained as he looked to the Rebels to which everyone understood this much.
"Captain Rex." Anakin began as he gestured to Rex.
"I'll show you how the 501st destroy Clankers." Rex began as he spoke to the Rebels taking charge. "First, I need volunteers to carry supplies from our entry point a half klick west." Rex said as he needed to get them all set up.
"Shouldn't be a problem." Saw said showing he could handle it.
"Excellent." Rex said and thus they got on the move. Nearby Barriss excused herself as she seemed to be troubled. Jinga sensed it as he knew something was bothering her as of late. Thus he opted to investigate while Andros and Ahsoka went to meet with Lux.
(With Andros and Ahsoka)
"Lux." Andros said as he greeted the guy.
"It's good to see you again." Ahsoka added as she looked to Lux while smiling.
"It's good to see you both again also." Lux said as he looked to the couple.
"I didn't realize you had such strong ties to Onderon." Ahsoka said as she looked to Lux.
"Onderon is my home." Lux defended as he looked to Ahsoka. "My mother represented it in the senate." Lux said as Andros heard this.
"Well one must always remember their roots." Andros said as Lux agreed.
"Very much so." Lux said as he felt there was wisdom in that. Look to the future but never forget where you came from either.
"You're voice is strong like hers was." Steela said as she smiled to Lux.
"Andros!" Shara was heard as she ran over to the group.
"What's this Ahsoka your new Padawan?" Lux joked but Andros smirked a bit.
"No she's Obi-Wan's Padawan." Andros said as he looked to Lux.
"Shara Starchaser Padawan learner at your service." Shara introduced as she smiled to the group.
"A pleasure to meet you Lady Starchaser." Lux said as Steela heard this as Shara blushed a bit. Ahsoka seeing how Andros was getting a bit protective put a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. "I hope that we can work well together much like how Andros, Ahsoka, and I did back on Carlac." Lux said as he smiled to the young Padawan.
"Carlac?" Steela asked as Andros noticed her tone on this. "What happened on Carlac?" Steela asked as she looked to the group who had begun to walk ahead of her and Shara took her spot.
They then stepped as Lux explained what happened. "Andros and Ahsoka is the reason I'm here and not with Death Watch." Lux said as he looked to Steela.
"Really?" Steela asked as she had a tone of jealousy on this which Andros noted.
"What he means is..." Ahsoka began but Lux cut her off.
"They saved me from a huge mistake and saved my life as well." Lux said remembering the Horror that was on the planet.
Lux then took his leave as the couple smiled a bit before Steela walked over to the couple and Shara. "Lux obviously think's highly of you." Steela said as she looked to the two. "And from the looks of it sees a lot of potential in you." Steela added directed at Shara.
"Looks like it." Andros said as he looked to Steela.
"B-but I'm not much I've already made a few mistakes under Master Kenobi's tutelage." Shara said and thus Steela saw Shara wasn't just humble but was a bit of self-doubt mixed in.
"Hey don't worry." Steela said cheering Shara up a bit. "Let's find that potential together." Steela said and thus she and Shara walked off and began to talk to each other.
When they were gone Andros looked to Ahsoka with concern. "Was I that jealous?" Andros asked but Ahsoka smirked.
"Of course not sweetie." Ahsoka said and saw Andros sigh in relief. "You were much worse." Ahsoka said before walking off leaving Andros standing there like an idiot.
"Wait what?" Andros asked once he was alone.
(Over with Barriss)
Barriss was asked to come along on this mission on the suggestion of Jinga because he trusted her. But for Barriss this was a bad time for this as her body... well it wasn't exactly agreeing with her as of late. She couldn't give the Jedi Council reason to suspect thus she opted to keep it hidden as best she could but this thing will be harder for her to hide as time goes on. She had intended to tell Jinga the other night but it seems he was more tired than anticipated. She only hoped this mission would end soon as to get back to the Core Worlds to figure out her next move.
"Barriss." Jinga greeted as he looked to his wife.
"Jinga." Barriss said as they were in a private spot before sharing a kiss with each other.
Once they parted Jinga began to speak as he looked worried about Barriss. "What's wrong Barriss you're shaking and ever since we boarded the ship you've been troubled." Jinga said as he looked concerned over Barriss.
"Jinga I had wanted to tell you the other night but things got complicated with this mission and." Barriss said as she then stopped herself and made sure no one was around to hear or see them. "Jinga… there is a good chance that I'm possibly carrying the successor to Roze within." Barriss said as this left Jinga dumbstruck and in total shock to her words. It wasn't direct but Jinga knew what she meant.
"Are you sure?" Jinga asked with great concern for Barriss.
"I sensed it and I took a test... it was positive." Barriss confirmed and thus Jinga was worried that he may need to figure out how to get Barriss off world.
"Barriss this... its." Jinga began but Barriss then put a finger to his lips to shush him as he looked behind him and saw a pair of Rebels pass by but were unaware of them.
"We can talk about this after for now we have a job to do." Barriss said and despite his better judgement Jinga agreed with his wife for now but vowed to speak about it with her later.
(Later with Rex)
With Ahsoka and Rex stood before the rebel forces with a tank that belong to the Separatists as Ahsoka began to say to everyone, "The pilot in the front hatch controls the tank, the shells and the short range blasters."
She pointed out the places where she was talking about before she pointed upwards as she went on saying, "The commander in the top hatch controls the turret and the main cannon. You have to take out both chambers. Otherwise the tank will remain operational."
Ahsoka look over to Rex as he began to show how it's done as he lifted up the hatch and throw a grenade in there before using the barrel of the cannon to reach the top, open the top hatch and throw a grenades in there as well before leaping off as the sound of the grenades were going off, with the tank itself show an electric pulse rank through it to simulate the tank now un operational as the Rebels were seem surprise by this method as if sees they didn't know that could be done as Anakin said, "Everyone, divide up into teams of two and we'll practice an assault on both hatches."
Everyone soon line up in group of show with Lux and Saw up front as they looked at each other for a moment with Lux said with confident, "I'll take the top."
Saw nudge Lux a bit as he said to him, "Let's see what you're made of, Bonteri."
Rex toss the both grenades as Saw took the front hatch, Lux leap over Saw to grab the barrel of the tank and sat on it which cause it to tilt a bit causing Lux to lose his balance and fall on Saw before he could throw his grenades in, as the two fell to the ground, with Lux getting up to his knees and held a hand to Saw as he said, "Sorry about that."
Saw just knock his hand away as he gotten up on his own as he said to Lux, "You're a terrible soldier Bonteri."
As Anakin and Obi-wan walk away a bit to talk just between them as Obi-wan said, "I'm not sure if they're more interested in fighting the droids or each other."
"They'll learn. We just need time to train them properly," Anakin said as Obi-wan soon said, "Keep your eyes on the quick learners. In this fight, time is not on our side."
As the next set went in and toss their grenade but it seem a bit slow as Rex called out, "Come one! Go, go, go; go, go!"
The Makai team sit back and watch how things are done, watching group after group do the practice runs as Phonon said, "They're slow."
"And seem like their team work is shit," Logos said as Churi soon said, "Will they make it?"
"Only time will tell," Jinga said as Andros had a thought as he said, "I have a better idea, let's put our "Specialist" skills to use. You ready to show them Logos, Phonon?"
The two looked at him as they shrug a bit as Churi said to them, "Well while you boy do that, I'm going to secure the area, make sure horror or droids alike come in unannounced as I doubt this rebel has such mean of detecting intruders.
Churi went off on her own, with Andros walk up with Phonon and Logo following behind and Jinga just sit back with Barriss come up next to him a she watch where Jinga is at, as Andros whistles out to get everyone attention as Andros said, "We have an announcement, as we would like to say that everyone is doing good so far, but I say you all can do better, but what is key here is team work and we would like to show you how to use it, if you don't mind Captain Rex."
"Not at all," Rex said as he wonder if this could be a good idea, as he toss some shock grenades to them, as Andros nodded as Phonon and Logos walk up to the front of the line as everyone watch closely how the specialist works as Andros said, "Go!"
Soon enough both of them ran as Logos turn around with both hand together as he give Phonon a boost up the tank as he leap up to the top quickly with both Logos and Phonon open the hatches at the same time and throw the grenades in before they quickly close the hatch, and leap away while soon vanishing out of site before the grenade went off as Rex stop the watch and whistle as he said, "7 seconds, good work."
The rebels were surprise how the "specialist" worked as Andros turn to them as he said, "Tactic is good to use and all but the best way to make it work is together, support each other, as well pushing each other to help one another, this is what we wanted to show you so you can learn from this, because we just don't want you to be good enough, we want you to be the best of the best as well the first group to get close to 9 seconds will get a special training from us that we have in mind."
Everyone seems excited by this as now they want to try harder, as Anakin, Obi-wan, Shara, Barriss, and Ahsoka were surprise by Andros and his team's action, but it seems to help as the next pair went and try what Phonon and Logos did as one boosted the other up faster before they open the hatch and throw their grenade in before running off of it.
Rex stop the clock and saw the time as he smile to its, as the time we greatly improved than the first few groups did, not counting the first ones with Lux and Saw, as Rex show the time to the two Jedi, they were impressed as well.
Ahsoka came up to Andros as she asked him, "How did you know that could work?"
"It's sort of the same thing we went through together, mostly us guys while Churi had a different training meant for her," Andros said as there was a lot of things that Tarlos had taught them, even get them motivated to work harder to succeed in their training.
Things were now heading in the right direction, as they hope it is the right path to go with.
(Separatists base)
Some transports were coming in with fresh droids with the bridge that lead into the Separatists base was tightly secure with tanks all around even a person on a large mount came in with cautions.
Some recon droids came around the transport and came in front of the droid squad before them as a normal battle droid said to them, "An unscheduled ship entered the atmosphere in sector S11 and failed to register," The battle droid said to the scout droids as the battle droid went on saying, "The rebels may be operating in that area. Check it out."
The Probes then went off to check out sector 11, as the rebels has trouble heading their way, no telling what could happen.
(Back at the Rebel base)
The group were still going on with drills on how to take down a tank as one group after another went and try their best as Rex said to them, "Come on! Move it like a soldier!"
With Anakin, Ahsoka, Andros, and Saw stood on the side as they keep watching the drill run go as Saw said to one of the Rebel, "Come on, Dono. Pick it up, Hutch. You can do better than that!"
"Well at least they are getting better, if by a little," Andros said as he had a stop watch himself to watch the time that everyone is doing but not coming close to the time he and his team set for them, as Saw nodded to this as he said, "Yeah, before day ends they would be decent soldiers at least, unlike someone."
Turning to Lux as he saw Steela treating his scratch, patting his head with a cloth as soon enough Saw went over to them with Andros and Ahsoka look at where Saw was going being where Lux and Steela is at before they turn their attention back to the training area
Saw step up as he look down at Lux with a look as he said to him, "You sure you're up for this?
"Saw," Steela saw as she knew what Saw is saying as Lux said with some attitude in his tone, "It was an accident."
"You would've had us both killed," Saw said to him as he pointed a finger at him as soon enough Lux and Saw gotten into each other faces as their chest almost touch, Steela put her hands in between them quickly to break them up and Push Saw away as she said, "Just stop it."
This gotten both Andros and Ahsoka attention fully as they
"Sit down boy. This isn't the senate," Saw said as had his finger pointed at him again before lowering it down again before he said, "You've got no talent for this."
"It's going to take a lot more than muscle to defeat the Separatists," Lux declare as Saw resorted back at him, "Politics have failed us. We have no Choice."
"We always have a choice," Lux said to him as he prove a point to Saw but He sees it in a different way as he look at Lux and said to him, "Then make yours."
"Look, if we're going to succeed, you'll need to be exceptional with words and action," Steela said to them both as she put an arm on them after she said 'Words' and 'Action' while she went on saying, "There will be time for both."
Saw just turn around and walk off away as Ahsoka look down to this as she didn't know what she could do for them as Andros said, "Don't worry about them, they will settle their differences soon enough, it's just a matter of them trusting each other."
"But if what if they don't?" Ahsoka said as Andros soon said to her, "Hard to say, but if there one thing my teacher taught me and the others, sometimes those who fight against each other settle thing out for themselves, but he had to throw us down a hole for that to work."
"And how can we get them to settle this out?" Ahsoka asked if there was anyways for Saw and Lux to become friendly with one another, with Andros said to her, "Dig a hole to throw them in?"
Ahsoka gave him a glare at him as that what she wasn't meaning as Andros said, "Look, they both have different path, but have the same goal, as soon they see that, they will figure it out somehow, just give it time."
"I hope your right," Ahsoka said as she turn back to the rebel drill run as one team throw the grenades in and gotten out before they went off.
(Later)
Soon enough Anakin, Rex and the other lead the Rebels to their next lesion, as they had some droids on the side to train with as he said to the group, "Destroyers are quick, pack twin blasters and come with their shield generators. Nothing short of a cannon will pierce it. But they do have two weaknesses and you will need to work together to exploit them."
Anakin turn to Rex as he give the signal to active the destroyer droids as one came out of its ball form and went into turret mode with its guns out and shield on as Anakin soon said, "The shields deflect high velocity attacks."
By demonstration as Rex took out his blaster set to stun and fire on it and show no reaction from the shield itself as the droid walk out a bit as Anakin step back while he tells the group, "What the shield don't stop are slow, or stationary objects. They're designed to absorb them so nothing hinders their movement."
Ahsoka took a grenade and toss it lightly at the Destroyer droid as it pass through tis shield with ease, its shock the droid and made it revert back into its Roll form as Ahsoka soon spoken up saying, "Destroyers are blind from behind. A distraction combined with a near assault will give you a kill the trick is... the trick... I'm sorry Shara can you take over?"
"Ah, sure I guess," Shara said a bit nervous as she is well inform of how to take care of destroyer droids but she still a student's herself technically, with Ahsoka nodded before walking off, a bit in a hurry as the group notice this, Andros went out after her as he knew what it could be, with Anakin grew a bit concern as well, about to go after them until Churi stop and said, "Where are you going?"
"Going to see if Ahsoka is alright," Anakin said as Churi give a small laugh as she said, "Well sorry to say but you will be needed here to watch over and make sure no one makes any mistake as we may be here as well, but that doesn't mean we are focus on their training specifically, and besides I'm sure whatever it is Andros can handle it."
"I hope your right," Anakin said as he knew Churi was right as his attention was needed there most, as Shara step up to the teaching spot with Churi hears a ring on her person as she pull out a compass like thing, as she open it a small green hologram map of the area came as something was ping with a red dot as she didn't see anything else as she headed out without saying a word as Shara soon started to say, "Well where Commander Tano left off at, the trick to get a kills is to get the right speed on the droid popper. Captain?"
Rex nodded as he knew what to do next as he activated the same droid and two others as they pop up and activated their shield as Rex pull out a Grenade as he said to the group, "These are unarmed. Just concentrate on getting it past the shield."
He throw it to Saw as he caught it with each, while he look to Lux as he toss the grenade a bit in the air and catch it again as he said to Lux, "Watch and learn."
Saw soon toss the Grenade across the ground a little fast as it came up to the destroyer droid as it then came into contact with the shield, just made it bounce back with Lux giving a smug look as he said to him, "Quite brilliant."
"Do you wish to try?" Shara asked him as Lux nodded before Share throw him a grenade to use as he caught it, and soon toss is and softly than Saw did, as it skip on the ground a bit before roll slowly to the shield, and by passing it with ease as Shara said to him, "Good toss. Not too hard, and not to soft."
"Thanks," Lux said as he smile to Shara, as she looked at him, with a slight blush as she backs away a bit shyly and keep a neutral look on her face to now show how she was feeling, but Steela saw the look before as she eye the Jedi Padawan a bit.
Steela saw she wouldn't openly try to pine for Lux and would probably panic if Lux pined for her. Jeez one of those types is honestly hard to beat but let the cards fall where they may. "Not bad." Steela praised punching Lux arm a bit before stepping up.
Shara then tossed a Droid Popper over to Steela who caught it and smirked to this. Once Stella had the popper she rolled it over to the Droid where it bounced a bit before rolling to the shield. Regrettably the Popper didn't pass through the shield and thus bounced off it into a shallow gap.
Steela scowled to this and growled in frustration to which Obi-Wan opted to aid in this. "Be mindful of your frustration. It'll only hold you back." Obi-Wan said offering some pearls of wisdom for Steela.
"Here." Lux began as he stepped in to help Steela. "Use your shoulder, and let your arm swing and keep your eyes on the target." Lux said as he guided Steela on how to do it. Seeing this Shara smiled as she wasn't jealous of Steela she actually had respect for her so she had no problem with what was going on. Still as much as she wanted to deny it she wished it was here there instead of Steela.
In turn Rex stepped in to take command. "Ok, let's get back to work." Rex said as he looked to the group. "Everyone pair up. We'll practice in groups." Rex said and thus everyone got moving.
Shara walked up to provide a popper to Lux and Steela but the two were paired up already and went to get to their group. As Shara saw her walked off she smiled sadly to them before she was met with Saw. "Hey, Commander, how about helping me practice?" Saw asked as he looked to Shara.
"Sure." Shara responded with a nod willing to help Saw practice as well.
(Meanwhile in the wood line)
From the camouflage of the jungle the Probe was recording and reporting everything it was seeing. As it did so it was unaware that it was being hunted by another who was itching to get herself a probe of her own.
(Back at the City)
The Droid Commander was receiving the report as their forces stood gourd at the bridge. As the Commander received the report from the Probe it was evident that the Rebels hiding spot was exposed. "Roger, Roger. This is Command." The Commander said as he was contacted by the probe. The Droid then vocalized what it found and thus the Droid Commander nodded. "Copy that. I'll send a squad out now." It said before cutting the contact and signaling the Droids commanding the tank. "We've located the rebels. Proceed to sector S29. Shoot to kill." The Droid commanded and thus the droids began to march to the sector in question.
(Back with the Probe)
Just as the Probe was about to move again a hand came out of nowhere and grabbed it causing it to panic when it did. In turn Churi smiled down sadistically at the Droid which she had proceeded to restrain so it couldn't get loose. "Welcome to my parlor said the spider to the fly." Churi said as she began to laugh ominously. "I've been dying to get one of you for some time now oh all the fun we're going to have." Churi said as her hands came out with tools seen between her fingers as her hands were crossed over her chest. The Droid tried to contact for help but was only receiving static and thus it was evident that the Droid was on its own.
"If I can't have BD I'll just make a better one." Churi said and thus if the droid could cry in pain its yells would have echoed for the entire planet to see.
(Meanwhile with Andros and Ahsoka)
"Just let it out." Andros said patting Ahsoka in the back as he was cautious about holding back her Head tail when she threw up. Ahsoka was grateful for Andros help even though he was the one who put her in this situation to begin with. Then again not like she said no to it added she initiated it to begin with. As she let it out Ahsoka looked to Andros and knew one of them needed to say it.
"Anakin is getting suspicious." Ahsoka said as she looked to Andros. "One of us needs to tell him." Ahsoka said as Andros looked nervous about this.
"Yeah... we should but... well I'm not exactly a fan of a metal prosthetic or a Lightsaber to my crotch." Andros said as he knew both concepts would hurt big time.
"He's not going to hurt you Andros." Ahsoka defended knowing Andros was being a bit paranoid.
"Sorry how long were you his Padawan again?" Andros asked and thus Ahsoka realized... Andros had a point.
"If it makes you feel better he doesn't know where you live." Ahsoka said as that was one spot Andros can hide out at.
"Yeah he command the 501st my house won't be secured for long." Andros said as he really wish he brought the Wolf along. "Anyway are you feeling better?" Andros said as he looked to the Togruta.
"Yeah I am." Ahsoka said and thus they knew what to do.
"Then we best head back to the others... for some reason my Churi senses are tingling." Andros joked as Ahsoka laughed as well. Churi was known to be up to something when least expected.
(Back with the group)
Barriss and Jinga were overseeing Lux's group as Anakin and Obi-Wan were split between the two. Saw meanwhile was still trying but still couldn't get it done right. "I can't get the distance or the speed right." Saw said ready to call it quiet's on this.
"Um... well maybe." Shara tried but had nothing to give until Ahsoka stepped in.
"Don't give up. Learning this could save your life and those around you." Ahsoka said as she walked up to the group with Andros. Ahsoka then tossed a Popper over to Saw who caught it. "A little backspin might help." Ahsoka said as she looked to Saw.
"Yeah... what she said..." Shara said as she then walked off a bit no doubt deep in self-doubt.
Saw meanwhile tried again and in turn he managed to get it making Ahsoka smile to this. "You got it." Ahsoka said as Saw smiled to this.
"Well you Jedi and those specialists are good teachers." Saw said before he was punched in the shoulder by his allies.
Andros seeing his sister walk off looked to Ahsoka who nodded and thus Andros went to help her. "Hey." Andros greeted as he looked to Shara.
"Oh Specialist." Shara greeted but Andros knew Shara needed some training herself.
"Come with me." Andros said as he began to guide Shara to another area. In turn the two ended up meeting with Obi-Wan as Andros looked to him. "I'm going to borrow your Padawan for a moment master Jedi." Andros said and thus took Shara before Obi-Wan could even answer.
(Later)
The two were in a small area in private as Andros looked to Shara who looked nervous. "Ok Shara show me your form." Andros said as Shara looked to him in confusion. "You're Lightsaber form." Andros clarified and thus Shara mentally kicked herself for not realizing that. She then took her Lightsaber out and took the Shi Cho form as she was taught. Andros looked it over and despite it being the best form that suits her it was not one that fits her.
"Hmm ok enough." Andros said and Shara did as told and put her Saber away. But when she did Andros used the Force to take it and give it a look over all before Shara could react. "So this is the Lightsaber that nailed me in the eyes." Andros said as he looked to the Saber with a smirk. "You're form is good but clearly it's not you." Andros said as he then took out his own Saber. "So I'm going to give you a form that would suit you and hopefully help with your confidence." Andros said and thus Shara was surprised.
"But the form I utilized was straight from the archives." Shara said to which Andros smiled to his younger sister.
"Well sometimes to succeed you got to go outside the book." Andros said as he then ignited his saber and took a battle stance. He then held his saber over his left arm like he would the Garoken but minus the grinding of metal on metal while using Garo. In turn Shara tried to mimic him and she got close but Andros saw where she needed to improve. "Ok so far so good but you gotta keep some distance between the blade and your arm that way you don't sever it by accident." Andros instructed and thus he helped Shara fix her form. "There you go." Andros said and thus Shara looked to Andros before he passed over to her a wooden sword.
"Now not as good as the real thing but should suffice until I can get Churi to set you up with a Beskar Gauntlet." Andros said as Shara heard this and knew Churi had an unusual way to acquire things. "Now then." Andros began as he got back to work. "Follow my lead." Andros said and thus Shara nodded and got ready. Andros swung the Garoken a certain way and Shara followed suit. It started out slow but eventually the speed began to pick up as the siblings practiced this form. Shara took to it like a fish to water as it was like she was born for this stance.
"This is a stance passed down to me by my father, his father before him and so on and so forth." Andros said as they continued to practice this stance. "This stance is designed to adapt as the battle progresses constantly changing to keep up the more violent your foe gets the more the user has to adapt the stance to it." Andros said as he gave Shara the basics of his... of their family's combat form.
They eventually came to a stop as Andros sheathed his sword and looked over to Shara who saw this. "Despite it being an old form it manages to remain to this day because it changes through the generations no two inheritors of this form are ever the same." Andros said as he looked to Shara who nodded to this.
"So what you showed me were the basics to get me started." Shara asked as she looked to Andros.
"Yes from there it all on you to develop it." Andros said as he smiled to Shara who in turn smiled back to Andros.
"Thank you... this form it I can't say how but it just feels right." Shara said and thus Andros nodded to her.
"Now then go back to the others and practice it when you have the chance." Andros said and thus Shara nodded to him and ran off.
Once she was gone Obi-Wan walked in and smirked to Andros. "So it seems you do have what it takes to be a teacher." Obi-Wan said as Andros shrugged to this. "Still giving her what may very well be her birth right, are you certain you're not still trying to steal her away from the Jedi?" Obi-Wan joked but Andros took it in stride.
"No but she needed the confidence boost." Andros said and Obi-Wan nodded in understanding.
"Well then." Obi-Wan began as he started to take his leave. "Do remember she is still my Padawan and I'd rather you not steal her away anytime soon." Obi-Wan said as he took his leave while Andros was left there.
"Huh?" Andros said as felt he just got trolled by Obi-Wan somehow.
(Meanwhile back with the group)
With Ahsoka overlooking everyone progress, she look over at Lux and Steela, as it seem Steela was still having trouble with the grenade throwing as Saw gotten down a few times.
Ahsoka was thinking of teaching her but Lux had that cover as he said to her while holding her arm and swinging it light as he said, "Just take it easy. Don't get frustrated."
Steela toss her grenade once more, but instead of going through the shield, it just bounce off, as Steela just sighed in frustration and said, "Ugh, just forget it. I'll never learn this."
Steela walks away while pushing Lux off of her as Lux was about to go after her until phonon stops him as he said, "I think it's best for her to clear her head first before talking to her."
Lux nodded as he understand there nothing much else he could do for Steela at the moment and leave her be, as Steela pick up her rifle and headed over to the edge of the ruin with Ahsoka said to the other trainees, "Keep practicing everyone."
Ahsoka headed over to Steela as the rebel was keeping an eye out over the jungle until Ahsoka approach her as Steela said to her, "You made it look easy."
"It wasn't always that way," Ahsoka said as she join Steela as she sit down next to her while Steela said to her, "Right the force. That you're secret"
"No. Perseverance," Ahsoka said to her as it was a simple thing to say as Steela look down as it seem she doesn't have the same kind as Ahsoka, but the young Jedi said to her, "Look, you'll get the hang of it. I wouldn't let it get you down."
"I'm not feeling down," Steela said as she took the safety off her rifle as she pick it up and aim as she said, "I just know what I'm good at."
"sometimes sticking to your strength is good," a new voice pop up as Andros suddenly came up from behind as both girls looked at him as Andros soon enough on saying, "But improving what your weak at can be greater than you would think, but if not, do a work around the problem and find a different solution."
"Oh and how so?" Steela said as Andros held out a med size rock, half the size of the grenade, and took aim above the destroyer droids as he fling the rock at a tree which bounce back and roll over into the droid shield with ease as Steela is surprise by that, as Andros said to her, "Cause and effect, as if you find the right angle, you can accomplish a lot of things."
"Now i really see what you are the Specialist," Steela said as she was impressed by Andros as he said to her, "That was nothing, you should see what my teacher could do. He hit two knuckle heads with the same rock at the same time."
Both girls laugh as that lighten their mood a bit as Ahsoka smile to Andros as he knows how to help where it's needed as Andros soon said, "Now let's back to training, no telling when those skills will be needed."
Steela nodded as she gotten up and headed back with the group and try again, unaware something that was above the tree line look down at them as it scan the area as it look down at the Makai Knight, Rebel, and the Jedi knight, unaware something was creeping near it before an energy whip came out of nowhere as it wrap around the droid, and drag it down with Churi's laughter can be heard.
(Later)
Next was target practice with blasters, as Steela was on the firing line, took aim and fire, hitting the droid head off the wall it was on as Anakin said to her, "Impressive. Most impressive."
"Stationary are easy to do, but what about moving target?" Andros said as he look out as he said, "Logos!"
"Logos came out as he held a droid head on a stick and held it high above him as he said, "Why am I doing this?"
"One you drew the short straw, and 2nd you were flirting again," Andros said as Logos was flirting mostly with Shara again and a few times with Steela, as Logos said to Andros, "So you did rig the straw game!"
"Ok set it to Stun, and fire at Logos when ready," Andros said as Steela smiled as she check to see if her stun was on before taking aim, with Logos duck and ran while Steela fire at the droid head a few times before it came off the stick as Andros said, "Nice work."
Obi-Wan walked over to Steela with Shara close by as Obi-Wan had words of praise for Steela. "You have clearly mastered your ability to focus." Obi-Wan praised as he looked to Steela.
Ahsoka then met up with Andros as the two smiled to each other. Of course Ahsoka noticed that Barriss seemed distracted as Andros saw Jinga was keeping to himself. As the two looked to their respected friends they seemed to have some sort of eye based conversation as if both knew what the other was thinking about. Ahsoka knew Andros was worried about Jinga and how he was avoiding them as of late. In the case of Andros he knew Ahsoka saw Barriss had been closed off as of late though nothing suspicious to note of. Still it left them concerned considering what had happened with Krell on Umbara.
"Snips, Andros." Anakin said as he walked over to the two.
"Come on Skyguy I thought when I got Knighted you'd stop with the snips." Ahsoka said as Anakin smirked to this.
"Old habit die hard." Anakin said as Andros figured as much. "Still, you two keeping focus?" Anakin asked as he looked to them.
"No, master." Ahsoka responded as she looked to Anakin.
"Ahsoka you don't have to hide things, I can tell something is bothering you." Anakin said as Andros coughed into his hand a bit knowing how close Anakin was getting.
"It's not important right now, but Andros and I do plan tell you later." Ahsoka promised as Anakin knew it must be something they can't have the other three Jedi here listening in on. Seeing as they were in on the others secret relationship it made things easier for the two couples. Ahsoka could easily cover for Anakin more so now that she is a Jedi Knight and Anakin can cover for her when she wishes to see Andros. Seeing as she is a Jedi Knight she was free to live anywhere she pleases outside the temple hence she lived most of the time in Andros apartment.
He wanted to nominate her for a promotion but well its already hard enough for him and Padme to meet he didn't want to put that on Andros and Ahsoka. So he opted to let it be and continue as they were but if someone else nominates her well his hands were tied there.
"Ok folks target practice lets go." Phonon was heard as he and Rex walked in.
In turn Rex began his part of the instruction as the two sharp shooters got underway. "A headshot is the only decisive to disable a droid." Rex began as the shooters got ready for it. "They don't need arms, legs, or even bodies to pass Intel to central command." Rex said as he looked to the group.
"So you will have to get a headshot in before they can respond limit what information they can send and continue holding the element of surprise when you need it." Logos said as he looked to the group.
"All right, shoot at will." Rex said as Logos looked worried now.
"And use live rounds." Phonon said as now Logos was scared.
"Wow wait a minute!" Logos began as Steela was already taking aim with Saw smiling sinisterly. "Why does the galaxy hate me?" He asked fearful at being filled with laser bolts.
As Steela took aim she then noticed something trough her scope behind Logos and the firing range. "Wait a minute." She began trying to take a second look. "What is that?" She asked taking aim once more.
Just then Logos looked behind him and went wide eyed to this. "Droid!" Logos cried out as he ran for it hitting one with the stick that held the droid head target.
In turn as the Droids came in a Super Battle Droid took aim as Logos was avoiding initial laser shots. The Super Battle Droid then fired off its RPG weapon at the group to which Rex took notice of. "Take cover!" Rex called out and thus everyone got to cover. The Explosion went off as Anakin and Obi-Wan back flipped away and drew their lightsaber. Logos was of course blasted back and into cover as he was covered in fire. Logos panicked and began to roll to put the fire out until Phonon came in. Phonon then swung his bow and using it and the wind it built up put Logos out.
"Well there goes my eye brows." Logos said as he got back on his feet as the Droids began to take fire upon the group.
"Worry about that later!" Phonon called out as he and Logos then moved over to cover. Barriss and Jinga took cover with each other as did Andros and Ahsoka at another spot. Anakin and Obi-Wan moved to cover with Steela who was firing at the droids.
"It appears training is over." Obi-Wan said as Phonon fired off his arrows at the Droids with the other troops firing their blasters at them.
Steela was putting her training to good use as the Jedi were deflecting the laser fire. "Where's Churi?!" Andros called out as she should have been here by now.
Just then Probe Droids came in as they flew around causing the group to go wide eyed. "So that's how they found us!" Saw called out as he saw them come forth. But to their surprise the two Probes went after the battle Droids and started to attack them. One shocked one that sent it to the ground while another began to act like a buzz droid on it. The Droid victim cried out in panic and horror as it was torn apart by one of its own.
Just then Churi fired off her own blaster at the Droids as she came in and rejoined the others. "Hello." Churi was heard as she walked in as Andros saw her.
"Was that you're doing?" Andros asked pointing to the two Probes who then once they did enough damage returned to Churi. When they did they each took a place on her shoulders and curled up to her like two birds wanting attention.
"Yeap." Churi said as Saw heard this.
"Then why didn't you call it in?" Saw asked as Churi smirked a bit.
"What you expect us to hold your hands through this?" Churi asked as Saw glared at her for this.
Meanwhile back over with Anakin and Obi-Wan who were deflecting the bolts with their lightsabers Anakin began to game plan for this. "I'll take the left flank if you take the right." Anakin said as he multitasked fighting and talking to Obi-Wan.
The two then got back to cover as Obi-Wan had a counter. "No, Anakin. We can only protect them. We cannot fight this war for them." Obi-Wan said as Andros and Jinga heard this.
"Jinga!" Andros called out as Jinga heard this.
"Got it!" Jinga said and in turn Andros and Jinga jumped of cover and charged in. Andros came in from the right while Jinga came from the left. In turn the two crossed passed each other and in turn Andros took the left flank and Jinga took the right flank. The two began to cut their way through the Droids as they were not Jedi or officially with the Republic so if anything they had free reign to fight. Plus protecting also meant fighting off their attackers if one were to seek out a loophole. Phonon and Churi provided cover fire for them as arrows and bolts came down on all the Battle Droids hitting them where it hurts.
The rebels were surprise to see two of the specialist going out there to fight close combat, while using strange metal swords which does the work on cutting droids down, even see them block blaster shots with ease with them as well with Saw seeing this as he said while watching the two taking out droids, "These guys really are specialist."
Phonon and Logos join in as well, as Phonon pull out his trick arrows that Churi made for him as he put them to the test, as he fire an arrow, nailing a droid in the air but didn't penetrate deep as suddenly the arrow beeps out and then fire small darts all around hitting everyone droid around it before it exploded taking out the droid the arrow was stuck too.
"Not bad," Phonon said as he drew another arrow and fire it as well as it exploded upon contact with a super battle droid, destroying it, while blowing away the surrounding droids as well as Phonon keep drawing arrow and fire.
With Logos he charge in, tackle a droid as he stab a battle droid in the head and use its body as a shield to take the shots, as he tackle at a group of droids that was in front of him just before he ran away while tossing a few live grenades behind taking out the droids in a good size explosion.
Picking up a blaster as he blast away at the droids while running before he ran out and use the gun as a bat and knock a normal battle droid head off while dropping the blaster and picking up the droids soon after continuing to fight.
Meanwhile over with Churi who had already taken cover behind a wall while she use her new friend to fight for her. Not only were the Droids programming preventing them from attacking the compromised Droids but some of the droids were too stupid to figure out who was on their side or not.
The probe droids floated around as they look down at the battle droids and the few super battles droids around as well with Churi seeing what they saw she smile and said, "I think I'll take some of you guys. Tag them, and bag them."
The probe droids hover pass the super battle droids as they probe droids place a device and a tag of sort to mark them as the devoice went off, giving the super battle droids a overloading shock to their system and force to shut down.
As Churi soon said as she push a button and said, "And here comes the boom."
The probe droids drop miniature balls which magnetize right away to the nearest droids around them and exploded as the probe droids gotten out of there as well.
Everyone was doing well, but more droids were showing up, and even more were on their way, as Obi-wan took cover as he said to Steela, "There are too many, but Anakin, Ahsoka, Shara, the specialist, and I can hold them off, while you get your people out of here."
Steela look back at all the incoming droids before she turns back to Obi-wan as she said, "You didn't teach us to run."
Steela lifted up her commentator as she give a call to Saw as she said, "Saw use your disruptors to take out the droids."
Over by saw as he was with his team, as he take a few shot before getting back behind cover as he said, "I'm on it. Ready disruptors, on my mark!"
The men nodded as they and saw pull out explosive devices as they armed them as Saw pull out his own and arm it as he said, "Now!"
All of them throw their disruptors at the droids line as the team gotten out of the way before they went off with some droids looking at them as one said, "What is that?"
"It looks like an explosive," Another droid said as instead of running away, they looked at it like moron with the first droid that talk to say, "How can you tell-
*BOOM!
All of them went off taking out the rest of the first wave of droids as Anakin said, "Not bad."
"That is only the first wave," Obi-wan said as Andros stood by as he said, "Then its round 2 then."
After the smoke clear up, a tank show up as it was ready and loaded, as Steela is shock to see it as it fire its main cannon upon the rebels forces.
"Well they brought out the big guns, take cover!" Jinga said as soon enough everyone ran and get to cover as the tank fire out a few blasted, knocking some rebels back by the blast alone.
Dust blow over where Obi-wan, Anakin and Steela is at, as Obi-wan knew this may a bit much for the rebels to handle as he said, "We'll handle this
"No I will," Steela said as she aimed her rifle downwards as it seems she aiming at Obi-wan until she tells him, "Duck!"
Obi-wan and Anakin gotten out of the way quickly as Steela aim for the stable as she then fire at the gate freeing the mounts in them cutting them loose as they ran at the droids and knocking them down, with everyone watching what Steela did as they continue with their battle against the droids.
Over by saw as he pull out a grenade out from his bag as he held it in front of Lux as he said, "Hey Bonteri, you ready to try again?"
Lux smile as he nodded while pulling out his own grenade with Saw and Lux soon ran at the tan with Shara and Ahsoka saw this as Ahsoka said, "What are you doing?"
"What you taught us," Lux said as they rush the tank with Saw taking the bottom hatch as he open it and throw the grenade at the droid's face before closing it.
Above a Lux toss his grenade to a droid as it caught not realizing what it did as it said, "Surrender, rebel."
The droid look down at what it was holding as the droid seem to have recognized Lux as he started to say, "You will answer for your crimes-
Before it could finish Shara came flipping in as she use the force and shut the cover on the tank on the droid as it still talking while Lux and Saw gotten out of there, "Against the separatist Alliance."
When the tank blow up, it blown both Lux and Saw down, with Steela rushing over to help them out, as Shara recover fast and help saw up, Steela soon arrived and help Lux up as she said, "We, uh need to clean you up."
"Heh! I like it," Saw said as he walk over to Lux as he said to him, "Now you look more like a soldier than a politician."
"Well, maybe a good politician need to get dirty now and then," Steela said before they walked away, with Shara smiling to this, but with Logos as he heard what Steela said and whisper over to Phonon, "Was that an innuendo to him or something?"
Phonon slap Logos across his head before he went on his way as Logos went, "OW! IT was a legit question!"
Soon enough as everyone regroup together, with Obi-wan soon said to the Rebel troops, "Take confidence from this victory. But rest assured, there will be more droids coming, now that they know your position."
"It doesn't matter. You're ready now." Anakin said as he looked to the group.
"He's right it's time to take the fight to the droids." Andros said with great confidence while quietly trying to get brownie points from Anakin.
"You don't have to hide in the jungle any longer." Anakin said to which they all agreed on this.
"Droids were a bit dim, more so then I imagined." Saw said and thus Ahsoka spoke up.
"They make up for it in numbers." Ahsoka clarified for Saw. "They're designed to overwhelm." Ahsoka explained as she looked to Saw.
"But they're not designed to deal with our approach." Anakin said inspiring the troops as it were.
"We hit them where they least expect it." Lux said taking the voice here. "And before they realized what happened." Lux began and thus Steela spoke up.
"We fade in with the rest of the population." Steela said to which Anakin nodded.
"Exactly." Anakin said seeing the rebels getting the idea now.
"We need a plan to get inside the city." Ahsoka said as she looked to the group.
In turn Lux spoke up as he was thinking on that. "I have an idea." Lux said as Churi had her two cents to add.
"I had several." Churi said while dragging off several destroyed Droid parts for her collection.
"Churi leave it." Andros said as Churi glared at him.
"To the victor the spoils!" She countered as Andros wanted to use the Force on her to change her mind.
"So what's the idea?" Logos asked as he wanted to know it.
(Scene Break Later)
The group began to make their way to the city as they were seen in hoods and robes while on animal pulled hover carriages. Droids were seen walking around the bridge of course but as the three carriages moved it was clear they all had a group inside it.
As they got to the gate they were soon stopped by the Battle Droids. "Halt." The Droid ordered and thus they stopped. "What were you doing outside of the city gates?" The Droid asked as Andros, rode with Steela, Lux, and Ahsoka.
"Hunting." Lux explained as he looked to the Droid. "We've been trekking for days." Lux said to which the droid grew suspicious.
"Did you register before your excursion?" The Battle Droid asked following protocol on this.
"No, but most of our time is spent in the bush collecting our traps." Lux said hoping this would work as he saw another droid walking around scanning their vehicles. "We come to the city to sell." Lux explained before Andros spoke up.
"We have a cabin outside the city makes it easier for us to hunt without having to take such long trips." Andros added as Lux looked to him as the two smiled. "After all you can't get thrip larva like this in Iziz." Andros added by showing the Larva in questions.
"Only the biggest trees on the other side of Onderon." Lux added as he looked to the Droid.
"Hey, listen we need to deliver all of this in time for supper." Steela added showing she was hungry and in a rush.
"Hmm?" The Droid asked as he then looked to his ally. "Are you scanning anything?" The Battle Droid asked as he looked to the other.
"It's hard to tell with so much organic matter." The other Battle Droid said as he was scanning the carriages.
"Come on our merchants are waiting inside." A girl from Anakin's ride spoke up. "Can you hurry it up?!" She called out before Jinga spoke up.
"Yeah if we don't make Credits we can't supply for our next hunt or eat tonight." Jinga added as they showed to be losing patience and for good reason too.
Seeing nothing wrong the Droid looked to its ally. "Let them through." It ordered and thus the other Droid got to it.
"Rodger, Rodger." It responded just before the Shield came down to let them in.
As they entered Andros smiled to Lux and spoke up to him. "Good plan." Andros said smiling to Lux.
"Like Saw said, those Droids are dumber than we thought." Lux added as they entered the city.
(Later)
Once they got to the center they pulled to a stop and thus carefully the group began to get out. "Not a bad start. But now the hard work begins." Anakin said as he looked to the group.
"You must find recruits and choose your targets wisely." Obi-Wan said from his own mount.
"They'll be looking for us." Steela said as Churi then came out.
"No kidding." Churi added knowing full well this was going to be tricky for them.
"Our best option would be to split up." Phonon said as he got up from his spot.
"Agreed." Lux added as he had similar ideas to Phonon.
"Regroup after nightfall. I'll alert our brothers." Saw said and thus they all began to disembark.
"We'll make sure you have the supplies you need." Anakin said as he looked to Lux.
"Rex and I will take care of that." Ahsoka added as she looked to Lux.
"I'll see what I can dig up from my neck of the woods." Logos said as he knew the night life had to be a bit stunning.
"Same here." Churi said as she knew local bards and gamblers would be rich with information.
"Good luck." Lux said and thus Steela and Shara spoke together.
"You too." They both said before looking to each other.
As they departed Anakin and Obi-Wan remained as the two looked to each other. "How do you think they'll do?" Anakin asked as Obi-Wan smiled to this.
"I have a feeling we'll be pleasantly surprised." Obi-Wan responded as he knew Shara needed a good kick for her confidence to show.
"So you admit our new strategy will work?" Anakin asked with a smirk on his face.
"I am hopeful, Anakin, hopeful." Obi-Wan responded before he and Anakin parted ways.
(With Barriss and Jinga)
The two hard parted ways as they acted like a couple enjoying a stroll. Despite this Barriss began to wonder if it was time to leave the Jedi. From what she seen thus far armors tended to be passed down from father to son many times over. Jinga had a legacy to uphold and Barriss in a sense had played a part in it. She could already feel it their child... it would be strong in the Force obviously due to herself and Jinga being its parents. But despite this as she looked she saw Amily once more in an alleyway smiling sinisterly to Barriss before vanishing once more.
Barriss in response hugged Jinga's arm closer hoping whatever Amily was trying to do would fail as always. Still she held her stomach closer as if just being out was putting them in danger. Something about her child made Amily respond and it both filled Barriss with pride and filled her with fear.
(Andros and Ahsoka)
The two were seen as they stuck close trying to find a place to set up their base. Through this Ahsoka smiled as she had taken the test and knew she needed to vanish in a couple of months. After all not easy hiding this when her body gains weight to account for the growing fetus. Still as she and Andros stayed close she knew Andros had a lot on his mind as they two stopped for a moment. Andros looked and saw a wedding shop of some sort and in it Ahsoka saw what Andros was contemplating.
Still should they hitch because of this or do it because they truly loved each other. Ahsoka new that Andros was considering this and thus opted to let him mule over this so to give herself time to think it over as well. Still they had a job to do and thus they would complete it without fail. Still she wondered what the future may hold for her for them. Ahsoka new she had to be careful and if they played this just right well... it won't just be her and Andros anymore.
