Daily Planet

Ash and Harleen were in the green room. The were about to do a interview for Pokemon Watch. It's been about two weeks since the Las Vegas incident and Ash was all healed up now. During his time off, Harleen had to help out on more missions then she was used to. Luckily they were low level missions and she had the help of the Justice League and Pokemon as well. Recently, they had started packing up Harleen's stuff at her flat since they would be moving in together soon. There was a knock on the door and one of the stage crew came in.

"Excuse me, Ash, Harley?" The crew asked. They both looked at him. "We're ready for you on set." Ash and Harleen got up from their seats and made their way out. The crew turned around and started leading them towards the stage. As they were making their way, Ash looked at Harleen.

"Are you sure you want to do this? They might ask questions that you might be uncomfortable with." Ash said. Harleen looked at him and had a smiled on her face.

"Of course I want to do this sweetie. It takes a lot of pressure off of you with me being here. Also, everyone has seen my face now, so there's no reason to hide anything." Harleen said. This was true. When everyone thought Ash was dead and they held the funeral in Detroit, Harleen was not Harley Quinn attire at that point. And with the funeral being televised, a lot of people saw what she looked like.

"You are a lot more braver then me." Ash said. They reached the stage and saw Lois talking with the producer. Lois saw them coming and excused herself from the conversation. She walked up to them.

"Ash, it's so good to see you." Lois said, hugging him. Ash didn't know what to do since this was the first time Lois hugged him. She let go of the hug and saw Harleen next to him. "And it's nice to meet you Harley." Lois held out her hand, Harleen took it.

"Pleasure to meet you." Harleen said. They let go of each other's hand. "So, what sort of questions have you got in store for us today then?"

"You're about to find out, we go on in less then a minute." Lois said as she made her way back to the stage. Two stage hands ushered Ash and Harleen on the stage. Ash and Harleen took their seats and the stage hands left the stage. Lois sat down in her chair. Someone started counting down with their fingers, indicating the show is about to start.

"5, 4, 3, 2..." the counter pointed at Lois at the one second mark, prompting her to start.

"Hello everyone, welcome back to Pokemon Watch. When we heard news Ash was alive, we contacted to see if we could get some answers. We don't only have him here, we also have his girlfriend, Harley Quinn." Lois said. She then looked at Ash and Harley. "Welcome to the show you two. Ash, first of all, what happened? Everyone thought you had died." Ash knew this was coming up and was ready for it.

"I think the simple way to put it was I time travelled. I somehow went to the distant future." Ash said. Lois was interested.

"The future, what happens in the future?" Lois asked. Ash knew the future would be different now.

"Honestly I have no idea now. I saw one possible future the world turn into." Ash said. When Lois heard that, she went to the next question.

"Ok, Harley, when you thought Ash was dead, what was going through your mind?" Lois asked.

"I was in pieces, Ididn't want to see anyone while I was grieving. My friends was close to make sure I was ok. I think this was a lot more harder from the last time you died since there was no body." Harleen said. But Lois caught what she said.

"I'm sorry, did you say Ash died before?" Lois asked. Ash thought he'd take over for this.

"Yes, it was during a time when the league was going against someone called Doctor Destiny. He was able to trap me in my sleep and stopped my heart for a while." Ash said.

"He was gone for five minutes. This was the first time he died and I was crying on top of him. While he was gone, I realised how I felt about him and I told him I love him." Harleen said. Ash smiled and took Harleen's hand. Lois caught this.

"How sweet. How long have you two been using the L word?" Lois asked.

"For a while now. My first time saying it was at the football stadium after we defeated Grodd." Ash said. Harleen then looked at Ash.

"And I said it back to you." Harleen said. They both smiled at each other and kissed each other.

"You can tell there's so much love here. How far has your relationship got to now?" Lois asked. Ash and Harleen were about to tell everyone the big news.

"Actually, we're moving in together in two days." Ash said. This caught Lois by surprise.

"Congratulations, that's a big step. I hope everything goes well with the move." Lois said. "Now I hope you two don't mind but at the moment, you two are one of the most inspirational couples around and people on the phone who want to ask you questions. Is that ok with you two?" Ash and Harleen looked at each other. This was unexpected. They were looking for each other's approval. Without saying a word, they looked back at Lois.

"Yeah, it's no problem." Ash said.

"This should be fun." Harleen said. Lois smiled and looked at the camera.

"Ok, we will take our first caller." Lois said. "Hello, you're on the air."

"Hi, I'm Maddy. Can I just say you two look adorable together." Maddy said.

"Thank you Maddy." Ash said.

"Harleen, with you and Ash going out for a while, has Ash taught you much about his Pokemon?" Maddy asked.

"Ash has taught me a lot about his Pokemon. He's been letting me train with them so I can work better with them." Harleen said.

"That was a great question. Thank you for calling Maddy." Lois said. "Next caller, you're on." Ash and Harleen weren't expecting this next call.

"Well you kept that quiet, didn't you." Ash and Harleen instantly recognised the voice.

"Hawkgirl. Didn't know you were going to be watching us." Ash said. Lois wanted to clarify the person.

"Is this Hawkgirl from the Justice League?" Lois asked.

"Not just me, everyone is here." Shayera said. There was a whole load of shouting in the background indicating everyone is on the watchtower.

"How exciting, we have the entire Justice League on the phone." Lois said. Yes, all of the Justice League. Ash had an idea.

"Hawkgirl is Superman there?" Ash asked.

"Yes he is." Hawkgirl said. There was a moment of silence until someone was back on the phone.

"Hello." Superman said.

"Superman, are you doing anything on Friday?" Ash asked. Everyone was wondering where he was heading with this.

"I got nothing planned at the moment." Superman said. Ash then landed the big question.

"If that's the case, then I'm sure Lois Lane would love it you took her out." Ash said. Everyone was shocked at this statement.

"Well, I don't know. I mean. It's is..." superman was rambling. Then he went quiet when Lois spoke.

"I'd love to go out with you on Friday, Superman." Lois said.

"Really?" Superman asked. Sounding hopeful.

"Yes." Lois said.

"That's great. I'll call you later and sort out the details." Superman said. Harleen looked at Ash.

"That was very sly of you." Harleen said. Ash grinned at that comment. He then looked at Lois who mouthed a thank you to him. Before anything else happened, someone else was on the phone.

"Hey Ash, can you tell Latios to stop cheating when we're racing. He's beaten me 5 times in a row." Flash said. He said that on live tv.

"Flash, are you saying that one of Ash's Pokemon is faster then the fastest man alive?" Harleen teased. There was a moment of silence before Flash hung up the phone. Everyone in the tv station was laughing.

2 Days Later/Ash and Harleen's New Home

Today was the day, Ash and Harleen were moving into their new home together. Even though Ash had the key to the house, he never saw it since it was a present from Batman. When Ash and Harleen first saw it, they were shocked. It was same house in the picture from Vandal Savage. It was secluded with large aches of land. Of course Batman would buy lots of land for the Pokemon to roam free. When everyone on the watchtower heard about the move, all of Ash's friends offered to help. The Leaguers would of helped to but had to oversee a UN summit. They were able to empty out Harleen's place in 3 hours. They were now taking the stuff out of the moving truck and putting it in the house. Brock and Cilanwere taking a sofa off the truck.

"Hey Ash, did you want the sofa in yet?" Brock asked. Ash looked at them.

"Give it five minutes. We need to move some of the breakables into the other room." Ash said.

"Ok Ash, no problem." Cilan said. Ash went inside the house and saw some of his friends were putting some stuff in their places. Ash got everyone's attention.

"Everyone, Brock and Cilan are about to bring in the sofa. Any breakables or anything on the floor needs to go to the other room." Ash said. Everyone got their orders.

"You got it Ash." Dawn said as she picked up some stuff and took it away.

"Sophocles, be careful with that." Lana said.

"Don't worry about me, worry about what you are doing." Sophocles said. Ash saw a lot of the stuff already in the other room.

"Great work guy. If we keep this up, we'll be done in no time." Ash said. Harleen came down the stairs with Barbra.

"I haven't this for a while. Ash taken charge on organisation. It's so sexy." Harleen said as she place her hands on him.

"Make sure to savour it then you might need it later tonight." Ash said. Harleen giggled a little.

"Ash, you're getting a little bit more risky like that." Barbra said. Ash and Harleen looked at Barbra. Ash wrapped his arms around Harleen.

"I've come a long from when we first met." Ash said.

"Ash has been picking up on my mannerisms and has gotten very good at flirting." Harleen said. Kate walked into the room and heard the conversation.

"Well, make sure everyone is gone first before you two do anything tonight." Kate said. Max and Bonnie ran into the house and looked at Ash and Harleen.

"Why are you two moving all the way out here?" Bonnie asked.

"Yeah, I thought you wanted to be closer to everyone." Max said. Ash and Harleen saw the two of them had sad looks in their eyes. Ever since Ash and Harleen helped them with their bullying problem, school had gotten a lot more better for them and they enjoyed spending time together. Ash and Harleen didn't like them sad and wanted to clear things up.

"We would love to closer to everyone. But we need to think about the Pokemon. They can't spend all of their time up in the Pokemon room in the watchtower. They do need fresh air from time to time." Ash said.

"And if you ever need us, we're just one teleportation trip away." Harleen said. Both Max and Bonnie looked happy after everything was explained to them. Misty and Iris came rushing in with a panicked look on their faces.

"Ash, come out here quick." Misty said.

"Aliens are attacking." Iris said. This caught everyone's attention.

"WHAT!?" Ash, Harleen and Barbra shouted. Everyone rushed outside and saw a alien ship in the sky, attacking earth.

"Why hasn't the League contacted us?" Harleen asked.

"They might not know what's going." Ash said. Ash then looked at everyone. "Someone contact the League and let them know what's going on."

"What are you going to do?" Serena asked. Ash turned around and walked away from everyone.

"I'm going to use Latias and survey the situation." Ash said as he took out a pokeball. But something happened.

"Look." Kiawe said. Everyone looked at the sky and saw a bigger ship coming from the clouds and destroy the attacking ship. The ship crash landed and were down. The bigger ship wasn't attacking earth. Everyone didn't know what was happening.

"Is it over?" Lillie asked.

"I don't know." Ash said. But Ash was going to get the bottom of this.

UN

Ash, Harley and Batgirl teleported inside the UN building, outside the main hall. When they arrived, they saw 5 armed Thanagarians in the same room as them.

"Their trying to take over the world." Harley said. Ash made up his aura sphere.

"Girls, take them down." Ash said as he charges forward. In the main hall. The leader on the Thanagarians were telling the world leaders about the situation.

"The ship that attacked was operated by a alien race called the Gordanians. We have been at war with them for many years. We managed to push them back, but they sent scout ships to different planets. Now that they know you're here, a full army will be coming." The leader said. No in the room liked the sound of that, especially the Justice League. The president of the United States stood up and spoke.

"How do we defend ourselves from them?" The president asked.

"We have a plan. We can build..." The leader didn't finish his sentence since the doors bursted open and a Thanagarian guard was knocked through it. This caught everyone's attention. Ash was thrown into the main hall. Ash looked back at the door and saw the guard flying towards him. Ash jumped up and aura kicked the guard across his face. The guard landed on the floor with a thud. Ash went to advance but Shayera flew in got in Ash's way.

"Ash, no. You got the wrong idea." Shayera said.

"Shayera, get out of the way. They're trying to take over the planet." Ash said. Harley and Batgirl came into the room and went towards Ash. Superman in to back up Shayera.

"Ash, they're not here to take over. They're here to help us." Superman said. Ash and the girls were confused at this point.

"What?" Ash asked. Shayera thought she should explain things to them.

"Let's go outside and I'll explain everything." Shayera said. Ash didn't know what was going but he trusted Shayera. While the meeting went on, Shayera explained how she was a lieutenant for the Thanagarian army and that she was sent here as an ambassador for her planet. Ash, Harleen and Batgirl were shocked to learn this about her. Before they could ask any questions. John came out and approached Shayera.

"Alien war, Lieutenant, came here on purpose. Is there anything else I'm missing?" John asked. Shayera looked at him. Before she said anything, the Thanagarian's leader approached Shayera.

"Shayera, how I missed you my love." The leader said as he kissed her in front of everyone. This shocked everyone, especially John.

"Oh, that has to hurt." Harleen said. Shayera broke her kiss and she looked at everyone in the room.

"Everyone, this is Hro Talak. He's my fiancé." Shayera said. This was another shock.

"Your engaged?" Ash asked. Talak looked at Ash and remembered him from earlier.

"You're the boy who fought my guards. Three of them needed medical attention." Hro said. Ash felt guilty about the misunderstanding. The girls stood up and stood next to him.

"It wasn't just him, we were involved as well." Batgirl said.

"No, the attack was my doing. I'm sorry about your men. I'll accept any punishment that you see fit." Ash said. Before anyone objected to Ash's sentence, Hro spoke.

"I'm not mad. I'm impressed." Hro said. Everyone didn't know what to say. "It takes a lot to take down one guard. And you taking out three, you are a true warrior."

"Ash has come a long into becoming a hero. He has fought and beaten a lot of powerful foes." Shayera said. Ash literally had no words. Hro then turned to John and introduced himself.

"I'm Hro Talak." Hro said, holding his hand out. John didn't want anything to do with him. But he wanted to be professional and shook his hand.

"John Stewart." John said. "I'm sorry I can't stick around, but I need to help Superman with patrol duty." John turned round and left. Ash, Harleen and Batgirl felt bad for John. Harleen whispered in Ash's ear.

"We should try to comfort him." Harleen said. Ash just watched John just walk away.

"Time is the only thing that can heal him." Ash said.

Watchtower/Pokemon Room

Ash and Harleen were giving the Pokemon their food. It was only them and Diana on the watchtower. The rest of the League volunteered the Thanagarians to help build a generator that will put a force field around the earth. From what Ash last heard, John had made no attempt at talking with Shayera. He must be taken the news harder then anyone thought. Ash used up the last of his Pokemon food and went to the bench to sit down. He looked at Harleen, who was feeding Bayleef. When Harleen finished pouring the food in, Bayleef rubbed her head on Harleen's arm. Harleen smiled and smoothed Bayleef's head. Harleen walked over to Ash and sat down next to him.

"That's everyone done. We should think about what we're going to have soon." Harleen said. She looked at Ash and saw he was deep in thought. "Ash?" Ash heard her and looked at her.

"Sorry, I was thinking about what happened to John." Ash said.

"You thinking you should of talked to him?" Harleen asked. Ash nodded. "Sweetie, you shouldn't feel bad." Harleen wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled his head to her chest, brushing his hair. "You didn't know what to do in that situation and you thought it be best to leave him alone."

"But I shouldn't of. I should of tried to talk to him. It was hard for me since I haven't experienced what he's going through." Ash said.

"What's that?" Harleen asked.

"Heartbreak." Ash said. Harleen was a bit confused at this statement.

"But what about the time I didn't tell you I was Harley Quinn?" Harleen asked. Ash sat back up and looked at Harleen.

"But that was due to dishonesty. John is stuck in a love triangle and doesn't even know if Shayera feelings for him was even real." Ash said. Harleen let that statement sink in.

"Now that you put it like that, his situation is a little more tricky." Harleen said. "Ash, I know you and I know that when the time comes, you know what you need to do." Ash smiled when she said this. She had so much trust in him.

"You're the best beauty." Ash said. He then stood up. "Right, let's go sort out lunch." When he said that, alarms started going off. Pikachu, Lucario and Mewtwo went straight to Ash and Harleen.

"What's going on?" Harleen asked. Mewtwo closed his eyes, then opened them.

"Intruders." Mewtwo said. Just then, Diana came up on the screen in the room.

"Ash, Harleen. The Watchtower is under attack. The Thanagarians have gained entry through the Javelin Bay and quickly approaching." Diana said. Their attacking? They were suppose to be helping them. "I'm going to intercept them now. Evacuate the Watchtower now." Diana then cut the feed. Ash then took command.

"Everyone get ready." Ash said. Ash walked over to the pokeballs and activated a mass return. All the Pokemon went into their pokeballs straight away. Ash was quick to put all the pokeballs in the bag. Ash then walked back over to Harleen.

"Ash, what are you doing?" Harleen asked. Ash gave Harleen the bag.

"I got a plan to take a lot of them out. I need the Pokemon safe in case of backlash." Ash said. This was partly true, but Ash had something else in mind. "Pikachu, stick with Harleen." Pikachu nodded and went on Harleen's shoulder. "You ready?"

"Ready." Harleen said. They both turned to the door and waited for Ash's cue. Ash reached into his pocket and grabbed something. Ash had a single tear in his eye.

"Harleen, Pikachu." Ash said. Harleen and Pikachu looked at him. And they saw Ash crying. "I love you both, and I'm sorry." Ash pulled out his receiver and pressed a button.

Alleyway

There was a bright light. Harleen and Pikachu appeared with Harleen still holding the bag of pokeballs. They instantly reacted to what happened. Harleen reached for her receiver.

"No you don't Ash." Harleen said. She had her receiver in front of her. "You're not facing them by yourself." She pressed a button. Nothing happened. She pressed again. Still there. She then realised what Ash has done. "ASH, NO!!!"

Watchtower/Pokemon Room

Ash had deactivated all of the receivers. No one can get back on to the Watchtower. He didn't want any of his friends to be in danger. Ash could hear the doors being slammed open. Ash closed his eyes and used his aura vision. He saw a large group were advancing towards him. Ash opened his eyes and made two aura spheres in each hand. Another door slam. He merged the two spheres. SLAM! He went into a throwing stance. SLAM. He held on a little longer. He heard footsteps outside the door. Ash threw the sphere and a explosion occurred upon impact.

Thanagarian Mothership

Hro was standing on the top deck, taking charge of the operation. Shayera was next to him, in Thanagarian armour. Hro just got word that all the Justice League have been taken down.

"With earths heroes out of the way. We can proceed with the plan." Hro said. Shayera didn't look happy with the news.

"Yes commander." Shayera said. Just then, a communication came through.

"Commander, Commander, come in." A guard said. Hro pressed a button and open a radio line.

"What is it?" Hro asked.

"A quarter of the Watchtower platoon is down." The guard said. Hro was shocked at this news.

"How? You told me the woman is down." Hro said.

"She is. It's the kid that's taking us down." The guard said. Shayera eyes shot up.

"Ash?" Shayera asked. Hro didn't look happy that a kid had taken down a percentage of his army. He gave a clear order to the guard.

"Take him out." Hro said.

"No." Shayera said.

Watchtower/Observation Deck

The remaining Thanagarian troops were trying to attack Ash but he was not making it easy. One troop tried to swoop in, but Ash saw him coming and got a aura whip ready. He flung it at the soldier and it wrapped around him. Ash used his strength to redirect the soldier and crash into four other soldiers. Another soldier came in with a head on attack with a axe. Ash brought up a aura shield and blocked the attack. He then made a aura sword and sliced the axe. With the soldier distracted, Ash quickly punched the soldier, which made him stumble back. Ash thought his aura was going to run out soon. He then saw a huge group charging at him. Ash builder up his aura and unleashed a massive aura beam. It hit a large portion of the platoon. It didn't last long as the limiter kicked in and cancelled it. Ash looked at his hands.

"No, not now." Ash said to himself. A soldier tried to hit Ash but Ash quickly grabbed the soldiers arm and threw him over his head. Ash knew he was going to need to recharge his aura by sapping the soldiers aura. But in the meantime, he was going to need to dodge everything. One soldier swooped in. Ash commando rolled out the way. Ash stood up and had to jump as a soldier swung his axe at him. But Ash didn't see the oncoming soldier. While in midair, a soldier fly by and swung his mace into Ash's side. "AHHHH!!!!" Ash grunted as he crashed into the floor. The rest of the guards were advancing towards him.

Thanagarian Mothership

"The kid is down." The guard said. Hro wanted to make sure of the status.

"Continue the assault. Make sure he stays down." Hro said. Shayera was shocked when she heard this.

"Hro don't, he's down. He can't defend himself." Shayera said. Hro looked at Shayera.

"He nearly took down the whole platoon. I'm not taking any chances. Now stand down." Hro said. Shayera had no choice but to back down. But she heard the most horrible sound. The merciless beaten Ash on the radio. She heard all the hits and kicks and Ash groaning in pain. She couldn't take it anymore.

"STOP IT!!!" Shayera shouted. Hro looked at her. It took a few seconds before he spoke into the radio.

"That's enough." Hro said. The sound of the hits stopped. "Take him to the chamber with the others." He closed communication. He went to leave the room but had one last message to Shayera. "You ever do something like that again, you will be tried for treason." He left the room. Shayera looked at the ground.

"I'm sorry Ash." Shayera said.

Poison Ivy's Greenhouse

"IVY!! OPEN UP, YOU NEED TO LET ME IN!!!!" Harleen shouted.

"Pikachu." Pikachu said. After Harleen figured out Ash disabled the receivers, she found a hiding spot in the street and started thinking about people who could help. She thought about contacting Aquaman, but might have Atlantis on high alert and wouldn't leave his kingdom. She thought about Dr. Fate, but didn't know where he lives. Harleen even considered asking Ash's friends for help. She knew they would help but it would be too dangerous for them as they haven't done anything like this before. Harleen needed someone's help with rescuing the Justice League and she could think of only one other person. Poison Ivy. Who just opened he door.

"Harley, what's wrong? What's the rush?" Ivy asked.

"Ash and the Justice League, they're in trouble." Harleen said.

"Is it to do with those bird people?" Ivy asked.

"Yeah." Harleen said.

"I'll help you." Ivy said. Harleen smiled at this. "Have you got a plan?"

"No not yet." Harleen said. But someone was going to answer her prayers.

"Maybe we could help." Harleen and Ivy looked at the voice and saw three figures in hats and trench coats. Harleen eyes went wide.

"I remember you." Harleen said.

Thanagarians Holding Cell

Ash's eyes were stirring, he was about to wake up. He tried to open both eyes but for some reason, he was only able to open one eye. Ash slowly got up and found his whole body was hurting. Ash looked round and saw he was in a cell. And outside his cell, was other cells with the League in them.

"Glad to see you're awake." Ash looked over and saw John looking at him.

"John, what happened?" Ash asked. But he had a pretty good idea.

"The Thanagarians backstabbed us and got us out of their way. I don't know what they're planning but it must be something bad to go this far." John said.

"Then we need to get out of here and stop them." Ash said. He tried to summon his aura but nothing happened. He tried again and he was really straining.

"Stop it. It's no use." John said. Ash stopped and looked at John. "These cells are designed to dampen our powers. Your cell simulates your aura limiter, so you can't use it while you're in there." That explains why Ash was still injured. Without his aura, his hyper healing wasn't working. So he was going to have to wait for the body to heal itself. Ash looked at John and still felt bad he didn't comfort John after learning about Shayera.

"John, I'm sorry." Ash said. John was confused he said that.

"What for?" John asked.

"For not saying anything after you found out about Shayera." Ash said. John still felt the sting of the realisation but put on a brave face.

"Ash, it's not your fault. I think what hurts more is that she betrayed us." John said. Ash understood that. He felt betrayed once he learned the truth about Shayera. This reminded Ash of something.

"With talk about betrayals, it reminds me of the time I was in a trance and you nearly arrested me." Ash said. John didn't think he knew about that.

"How did you know about that?" John asked.

"Flash told me." Ash said.

"My bad." Flash said as he was being pressed down with a gravity machine. John laughed at the memory.

"Sorry about that." John said.

"It's fine, we were having a rough patch at that point." Ash said. "But look, what I did then was wrong. From now on, if something like that happens again, I'm by your side." Just then, two guards came in with a plate of food. They came in front of Ash's cell and slid the food through the door flap.

"Eat." The soldier ordered. Ash picked up the food and looked at it. He then looked at the guards and threw the food at them. Food were all over their bodies and had angry looks on their faces. "You punk."

"Looks like he needs to know his place." The other guard said as he opened the door. Both the guards walked in and headed towards Ash. Ash tried to punch one of the guards but his hands still hurts and couldn't attack right now. One guard punched Ash and knocked him to the floor. Then both the guards started kicking him. The League could only watch what was happening. All of the sudden, the whole room rumbled. The guards backed away and was wondering what was going on. "Did you feel that?" Then there was another rumble.

"I felt that." The other guard said. One of the walls in the room was suddenly ripped off. The guards immediately went out of Ash's cell and looked at the damage. They were shocked when they saw something coming through the hole. "What the hell is that?" It was their worst nightmare.

"I am Mewtwo." Mewtwo said as he used psychic on the two guards and flung them against the wall. They were out cold. Mewtwo set up two barriers to the doors for the room. He then looked outside. "We're secure." Lugia flew up to the hole. Harleen, Poison Ivy and the three figures entered the room. Harleen went straight for Ash and she was horrified at the state of him. One of his eyes was extremely swollen and parts of his face were discoloured. Harleen went down to pick him up.

"Sweetie, it's me. I'm here to get you out." Harleen said.

"Harleen." Ash said weakly.

"Don't say anything. We need to get you out of here." Harleen said. She got him up and let him lean against her for support. They walked out of the cell and saw that some of the heroes had been released from their cells. Superman, Batman, Diana, Flash and Martian were out of their cells. Poison Ivy was letting Batgirl out. Ash looked over and was shocked when he saw the figures that were releasing John.

"Team Rocket!?" Ash exclaimed. Team Rocket looked at him just as they released John. "What are they doing here?"

"They said that they were here to help." Harleen said. Ash was just angry that they were here.

"Then they were lying. You should never trust them." Ash said. Jessie then spoke for the group.

"Look, you can yell at us later. But we need to get out of here right now." Jessie said.

"She's right. Soldiers are advancing and there's too many for my barriers to handle." Mewtwo said. If this was him saying it, then they need to move. Harleen guided Ash to the hole in the wall. Ash got on top of Lugia. Harleen sat behind Ash to make sure he didn't fall off. Batgirl and Poison Ivy next came out then Team Rocket. Once Harleen saw everyone was out, she gave the word.

"Lugia let's go." Harleen said. Lugia went away from the ship and Mewtwo closely followed. Ash looked behind him and saw Superman carrying Batman and Flash out the ship, followed by Diana carrying John and Martian. At least they got out safe.

"Incoming." James said. They looked at where he was pointing and saw a group of Thanagarians chasing them. Harleen wasn't worried.

"Don't worry, we're covered." Harleen said. As she said that, a thunderbolt struck the soldiers and they were falling from the sky. Zapdos came into view with Pikachu riding on his back. "Good work you two."

"Rar!" Zapdos said.

"Pikachu." Pikachu said. For the moment, they were safe.

Poison Ivy's Greenhouse

After the escape, Ash suggested they find somewhere to land and walk the rest of the way. With them riding on massive birds, they'll be easy to spot. The found an alleyway and recalled both Lugia and Zapdos. They kept Mewtwo out in case something happens. They manage to keep under the radar by sticking to the alleyways. They eventually reached Ivy's Greenhouse and took cover in there. Everyone was resting up after the ordeal. Ash was laying on the sofa. Harleen walked up to him with tea in her hands.

"Here, take this. It will help." Harleen said. Ash put his lips on the cup and Harleen tilted the cup a little.

"That's so good." Ash said.

"That's good." Harleen said as she put the tea to the side. Then she slapped Ash on the chest.

"Oooww!" Ash shouted.

"How could you trick me like that? Giving me all your Pokemon and teleporting me away. Are you stupid?" Harleen asked tears came down her face.

"Harleen, I know you must be mad about wh..." Ash was interrupted.

"Yes I was mad, but I was most of all worried." Harleen said. Ash just looked at her. "You were up there, all by yourself, up against an army. Me and your Pokemon were your only backup. And when I tried to get back up the Watchtower, you disabled al..." Harleen stopped as Ash sat up and kissed her. They parted lips.

"But look at what you done. You set up a rescue mission and everyone got out." Ash said. Harleen was sidetracked with the sudden kiss.

"I'm still mad at you, but I'm glad you're here, by my side." Harleen said as she went in for another kiss. But they forgot they weren't alone in the room.

"Geez, you grown up twerp." Ash broke the kiss and saw Team Rocket, Ivy, Mewtwo and Batgirl looking at them. But his sight was solely on Team Rocket.

"What are you doing here? Get out now." Ash said. Everyone was shocked at his command. He wasn't thanking the people that saved them.

"Ash you need to calm down." James said.

"Don't tell me what to do." Ash said as he tried to get up but wasn't strong enough to get off the sofa. Everyone wanted to know what was going on.

"Ash, they helped you escape. Why are you acting this way?" Batgirl asked.

"We weren't such good guys back on our planet." Meowth said. Ash thought if they weren't going to say then he would.

"They killed my mother." Ash said. Everyone couldn't believe what they heard.

"What?" Ivy asked.

"Look, we can explain." James said. Harleen stood up from the sofa.

"It's true?" Harleen asked.

"No it's not. Our former boss was the one that pulled the trigger." Jessie said. Ash didn't care if they didn't kill her directly.

"Who cares? Because of your syndicate, the whole planet is gone. If I was able to right now, I wo..." Ash was interrupted.

"Ash." Ash looked over at Mewtwo. "They tried to save your mother." Ash eyes went wide. They tried to save her? "I read their minds and saw they were planning to save her an hour before her death. But some Team Rocket thugs caught on to what they were doing and delayed them." Ash couldn't believe it.

"We left Team Rocket as soon as we heard about the plans for your mum." Meowth said.

"But what about those bombs that destroyed your planet? Why didn't you go after them?" Harleen asked.

"We had no knowledge of the bomb. That was something only a handful of people knew about." James said. Ash felt guilty now. He accused Team Rocket in killing his mother and after all this time, they were trying to save her.

"I'm sorry guys." Ash said. "If I had known you were trying to help, I could of.."

"Ash." Jessie said. Ash looked at her. "We're sorry what happened to you mother. But we are willing to do whatever it takes to make up for what had happened." Jessie walked up to Ash and held her hand out. "Can we start over again?" Ash just looked at the hand. They were risking their own lives to save his mum. If that wasn't a hero, he didn't what one was. Ash took her hand and shook it.

"New beginnings." Ash said. Everyone in the room smiled at this friendship. Batgirl got a message on her phone.

"It's Batman." Batgirl said. "Everyone looked at her. "Everyone's meeting at the Batcave in an hour." Ash made it to his feet and started walking over to Mewtwo.

"Ash, be careful." Harleen said. Ash was in front of Mewtwo.

"Do you think you can teleport us there?" Ash asked. Mewtwo nodded.

"I can." Mewtwo said. Ash looked at everyone.

"Let's go now." Ash said. Harleen, Batgirl and Team Rocket walked over to Ash and Mewtwo. What surprised Ash the most was Poison Ivy walked over as well. "Your coming too?"

"For what you are heading for, it sounds like you can use all the help you can get." Ivy said. Ash smiled at her response and looked at Mewtwo.

"Mewtwo." Ash said. Mewtwo's eyes turned blue and there was a bright light. Everyone vanished.

Thanagarian Mothership

Hro was smashing his control panel with a mace. He had just learned that the Justice League have just escaped. Kragger, his general, was there since he delivered the news.

"How did they escape?" Hro asked.

"Some of the men are saying that weird creatures were involved with the breakout." Kragger said. Hro was confused at what he said.

"Creatures?" Hro asked. Shayera just ran in the room.

"Is it true? Did they escape?" Shayera asked. Hro looked at her and thought she could provide some answers.

"Yes they did. Because there's been reports that creatures helped with the breakout." Hro said as he walked closer to her. "Do you know about them?"

"No." Shayera lied.

"She lies commander. There is no way she's been here for that long and not know anything." Kragger said. Hro was starting to believe that Shayera wasn't being honest.

"Shayera, I think you do know what those creatures are and I also believe you know where they went." Hro said. Shayera knew she was getting backed into a corner and had to leave.

"I don't need to answer." Shayera said as she left the room. Kragger came up behind Hro.

"I don't know if you notice, but she didn't give you a straight answer." Kragger said. Hro did notice that.

"Follow her."

Batcave

John and Wally West (Flash) were walking down the stairs, where everyone else was waiting. Even though Ash and the others teleported there instantly, the Leaguers had to hide their costumes and act as civilians to get by the patrolling Thanagarians. Harleen and Ivy freaked out when they found out Bruce Wayne was Batman. John and Wally joined the others.

"Good, everyone is here now." Diana said.

"Yes, now let's get down to business." John said.

"What are they planning? It must be something big if they want us out of the way." Ash said. Batman already had a hunch about something.

"It might have something to do with the generator that they're building." Batman said.

"The generator that's suppose to make a force field around earth to stop the oncoming invasion?" Harleen asked. Did she just ask that?

"Harleen." Ivy said. Harleen looked at Ivy. "We're being invaded now." Harleen had a deadpan look.

"Also there's no other invasion. That was all staged to let our guard down." Batman said.

"That's good to know, but we're still nowhere near figuring out what they are doing." Superman said. They were about to get some answers.

"I can tell you." Everyone but Ash looked over the shadows and saw Shayera walking out.

"You have a lot of nerve showing your face here." Diana said.

"What are you doing here?" Flash asked. Shayera reached into her pocket and pulled out a thumb drive.

"Helping you. The generators they're building will create a hyper bypass. When it activates, it'll destroy earth." Shayera said. This wasn't welcoming news.

"Destroy earth?" Jessie asked.

"We already lost one." James said.

"Does this mean we have to move realities again?" Meowth asked. Shayera moved towards Batman.

"All the information you need is in this." Shayera said as she handed the thumb drive to Batman. Batman took it.

"I'll have a look." Batman said. He walked to his computer and started opening the files. Everyone stayed away and avoided eye contact with Shayera. Shayera looked at Ash and noticed he hadn't looked at her this whole time.

"Ash, I heard what happened on the Watchtower. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. You know I wouldn't let anyone hurt you." Shayera said. Ash couldn't believe she just said that. She had lied this whole time. Even before she joined the League. Was her motherly instincts towards Ash also fake. Ash slowly turned round and looked at her. Shayera gasped when she saw the damage to Ash's face. She started to walk towards him. "Ash, I had no..." Before she could reach Ash, she was slapped across the face. She stumbled across the room. She looked at the attacker and saw it was Harleen.

"How dare you say that to him." Harleen angrily said. "Wouldn't let anyone harm him? You knew what they were capable of and your husband to be was the one who caused this. And you let this happen to your son, if you ever saw him as that." To Ash, everything Harleen was saying was true. Shayera could of stop the attack but she didn't. This broke Ash's heart. The person he saw as a mother betrayed him. Ash walked away, sat at the table and cried into his hands. "I'm going to say this once. If you or any of your kind lay another finger on Ash. I will hunt you down and beat you to a inch of your life and I don't care if I get arrested. I love Ash with all my heart and I will give my life to protect him." Harleen just glared at Shayera to let that sink in. Everyone heard what she said and had massive respect for her. Now Harleen was going to put the final nail in the coffin. "Now, get out." Harleen turned round and headed towards Ash. She reached Ash and saw he was crying. She pulled his head to her stomach and stroked his hair to comfort him. She never seen Ash this upset and she wished she never had. Shayera was just lost for words. Then Batman got everyone's attention.

"Everything Shayera said was correct. It's a hyper bypass. Thanks for the drive. Do what Harley told you and get out." Batman said. This hurt Shayera but she knew that she deserved this. She hung her head and left the cover. Now that the League knew what was at stake, they wasted no time to set a plan. They had been talking 30 minutes before Batman spoke up. "We need to take the watchtower out of orbit." Everyone looked at him.

"What?" Batgirl asked.

"We need to destroy the generator before they finish it. The watchtower is the only thing big enough to destroy it." Batman said.

"So your plan is to crash the watchtower into the generator?" Ivy asked. "That be one heck of a firework show."

"But they have a force field protecting the generator. What are we going to do about that?" Flash asked.

"We're going to need gain entry in the mothership to shut it down." Superman said.

"Then we'll be overwhelmed by the soldiers since were in one spot. Also, if we manage to shut the shields down, they are people that will get caught in the middle of the explosion." Diana said. She had a point. A lot of people could potentially get hurt. But Ash had a solution.

"My Pokemon can help." Ash said. Everyone looked at him. "We can contact everyone else to help with evacuation and sheltering people with the help of some of my Pokemon."

"And the rest of the Pokemon can distract the soldiers while we're shutting down the force field." Harley said.

"So, they're called Pokemon." The heroes looked at the shadows and saw Kragger and a small group of soldiers came out of the shadows. The League went right into action.

"Spread out." John said. The League scattered and the Thanagarians gave chase. Superman and Diana flew up and punched the soldiers. Flash grabbed Team Rocket and took them to a safe space.

"Stay here." Flash saidracing back to the fight. Team Rocket looked at each other.

"We can't just stand around here." Jessie said.

"We need to help out somehow." James said. Meowth looked round the room and saw Batman's computer.

"Guys, I got an idea." Meowth said. John used his ring to make a boxing glove and hit a couple of Thanagarians. Batman and Batgirl threw their batarangs at the soldiers but got stuck into their armour.

"Is that it?" One of the soldiers asked.

"Wait for it." Batman said. Just then, red eyes appeared in the shadows. Bats flew out and started attacking the soldiers. Martian and Flash were having a difficult time and were getting overwhelmed. One of the soldiers were sneaking up on them and was about to attack. Then a beam struck the soldier. His body tensed up and fell to the floor. Both the heroes looked at the body then at the attacker. Team Rocket.

"Nice work on the paralysis ray." Jessie say.

"How long will they be down for?" James asked.

"Long enough." Meowth said. He then looked over and saw multiple soldiers heading towards them. Meowth aimed the gun at the soldiers and shot it at them, paralysing them. Ash, Harleen and Ivy got to the corner of the room, where Ash's bag is. Ash opened his bag and dug through the pokeballs. Ash pulled out a single pokeball and looked at Ivy.

"Ivy, get ready." Ash said. Both Harleen and Ivy looked at him.

"Huh?" Ivy asked.

"What are you planning?" Harleen asked. Ash looked at her.

"You'll see." Ash said as he threw the pokeball in the air. The ball snapped open and Bulbasaur came out. "Bulbasaur, quick, leech seed." A seed popped out of Bulasaur's bulb and shot it at one of the soldiers. The seed landed and vines started wrapping around the soldier. The soldier crashed on the floor and was having energy sapped from him. Ivy had a smirk on her face.

"Ash, you're a genius." Ivy said. She lifted her arms and the vines from the seed started to grow. One by one, the squad were taken down until no one was in the air. Ivy then manipulated the vines to group everyone together. The Justice League have won this battle. Everyone approached Kragger.

"Right tell us now, what is the status of the generator?" Ash asked. Kragger looked at him with a smirk.

"It's nearly done, it be functional within the hour." Kragger said. This wasn't good news. They had a plan and they'd have to execute it now. But there was one problem.

"How do we get to the watchtower? We don't have any javelins here." Flash asked. Ash had a suggestions.

"I can get Mewtwo or Mew to teleport a group up there." Ash said.

"That's a good idea." Superman said. "Here are the teams. Flash, Batman, Martian, you take the watchtower. Ivy, Batgirl, you'll help with evacuation and shelter. John, Diana, Ash, Harleen. Get on the mothership and take down the force field. I'll stay outside and help the Pokemon with the fight. Team Rocket, I actually have no idea what you could do."

"Don't worry about us." James said.

"Yeah, we already have a idea but I will need to use that plane." Meowth said pointing at the Batwing.

"Fine." Batman said.

"That sounds like a good idea. How long will it take for you to take back the watchtower?" Harleen asked. Batman looked at her.

"There only be a small team in there, 15 minutes at most." Batman said.

"The field will be down by then." Diana said.

"With multiple locations, Hoopa would be a better option to get everyone around. I'll get him now." Ash said. He turned round to go to his bag. He didn't walk far as he saw his bag glowing. "We got some extra help."

Outside

The streets were quiet. Everyone knew the Thanagarians weren't here peacefully and wanted to avoid them at all costs. Although the Thanagarians weren't making it easy for them. They had been instructed to search every building to find the League. And while there were ground troops, there are air troops as well.

"Do you see anything?" One of the soldiers asked.

"Nothing yet but we'll be ready for when they appear." Another said. They flew for another 2 minutes before a golden ring showed up in front of them. "What's going on?" Just then, Superman came out and punched them out the sky. This caught the attention of everyone.

"There's Superman. ATTACK!!" Another soldier shouted but no one moved as a lot more rings had shown everywhere. "This is bad." A large dragon came out the ring and shot out a ice beam at multiple targets. Superman flew up at the new Pokemon.

"Keep it up Kyurem." Superman said as he flew off.

"With pleasure." Kyurem said.

Thanagarian Mothership

"WHAT'S GOING ON?!?!?" Hro shouted. Alarms were going off and he wanted to know what was going on. One of the soldiers approached him.

"It's the Justice League, they are attacking." The soldier said.

"Where?" Hro asked.

"They are fighting near the generator. We also lost communication with the watchtower." The soldier responded.

"Send 30% of the army to the generator. As long as the force field stays up, we will achieve our objective. We beat them before." Hro said confidently.

"But it's not just them." The soldier said. Hro looked at him.

"Is the creature with them?" Hro asked.

"Creatures." The soldier said as he pointed a monitor at Hro. "And they have taken down nearly 90% of our men already." Hro walked up to the screen and saw Solgaleo charging through a squadron and Lunala shot a shadow ball at a flying soldier. Then Rayquaza came on the screen and used flamethrower on the army. Hro couldn't believe what he saw

"Send everyone. Anyone that's doing anything else are to be sent into battle and send every ship too." Hro said as he walked out the room.

Outside

All the Thanagarian army were converging to the battle. The sky was covered by the large army. But the approaching army being attacked by Latias and Latios, swiping them from the sky. Articuno finished using blizzard and saw a large number of ships coming in. In the distance, Ash's group was watching, waiting for the right time. And now was the time. Ash looked at Hoopa beside him.

"Over the sea now." Ash said. Hoopa nodded and opened a ring with the image of the sea inside. Ash grabbed a pokeball and opened it, putting the Pokemon in the sea. The portal closed. Ash then grabbed four pokeballs. "Now, to send them running." He then threw the pokeballs and they opened. A lot of the soldiers stopped and looked at one of the Pokemon that was the size of a mountain.

"What's that?" One of the soldiers asked.

"I see Groudon has caught their attention." Ash said. Groudon powered up a solar beam. It fired and took out 3 ships. The army couldn't believe it. One creature took down their ships without any difficulties.

"ATTAC..." The soldier didn't finish as a blue flame engulfed him and others in its path. The burnt soldiers went down. Everyone looked and saw a white dragon in the sky, Reshiram. Then a black dragon came charging forward to more of the army surrounded in a ball of electricity. Zekrom. The group was watching the whole scene.

"I think they are distracted now." Harleen said. John's got everyone's attention.

"Ok, be prepared. We're about to infiltrate the mothership." John said.

"Ready." Diana said.

"To a better tomorrow." Harleen said. Ash nodded and looked at Mewtwo.

"Mewtwo." Ash said. Mewtwo looked at them. "Send us up then help out where you can." Mewtwo eyes glowed blue and the group disappeared. Over the water, more battleships were closing in on the fight.

"Captain, we are 2 minutes away fr..." The pilot was interrupted as something shot at the ship. He looked over and saw the batwing flying by. The ships gave chase. Inside the batwing, Team Rocket were talking about the modifications on the batwing.

"The guns we installed on here have really helped out." Meowth said.

"Yeah, at the front and the back so we can cover all angles." James said.

"Stay focused boys, it looks like the big fish is eager." Jessie said. The battleships behind the batwing were closing in, but they didn't realise a large shadow coming from the water. Once the batwing passed, a Pokemon burst through the water and used hydro pump on the ships, causing them to crash in the water with Kyorge.

Street

"Careful now. Okay, Tauros is going to take you to a nearby shelter." Brock said as he helped up a elderly person on the Pokemon's back. As soon as the person was on, Tauros went straight to the shelter. Brock and the rest of Ash's friends got a call saying about the plan and was told to get everyone away as soon as possible. The pokemon were helping by either directing or transporting civilians or defending against the Thanagarians. Batgirl came running up with Pikachu on her shoulders.

"5 streets have been cleared." Batgirl said.

"Pika." Pikachu said.

"That's good. That's nearly everyone cleared then." Brock said. Mallow was directing the crowd with Leavanny when she saw a incoming platoon heading towards them.

"HELP!" Mallow shouted. And it came almost instantly as Pokemon showed up and blocked their way. Entei, Raikou and Suicune pushed some of the soldiers out of the way. Incineroar, Infernape, Greninja, Primeape and Sceptile grabbed the rest of the soldiers and brought them to the ground. Clemont came over to Mallow.

"Come on, it's getting too dangerous now. We need to move." Clemont said. As he finished saying that, something burst through a wall of a building and everyone covered their eyes from the dust. As the air cleared, everyone could see Charizard standing over 3 soldiers.

"RRRRAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!" Charizard triumphantly roared.

Thanagarian Mothership

Ash, Harleen, John and Diana had been on the ship for 10 minutes, trying to find the control room and taking down guards. They thought they'd cover move ground if they split up. Ash and John were in one team and Harleen and Diana were in another. Harleen and Diana were running down the hallway and saw a holding cell coming up to them. They looked inside the cell and saw the last person they ever wanted to see. Shayera.

"I would feel bad for you, but after what you put everyone through, you deserve this." Harleen said. Shayera looked at them.

"I'm so..." Shayera started to say.

"Not a word. We don't want to hear it." Diana said.

"I didn't know what would happen. When I heard what happened to Ash, I..." Shayera was interrupted again as Harleen bashed her bat against the bars and gave Shayera an intense glare.

"Don't you dare say his name. He was devastated when you came to the Batcave. He thought you cared about him." Harleen said. Shayera stood up and looked at Harleen.

"I do care about him." Shayera said.

"If you cared, then how could you let Ash get hurt like that?" Harleen asked. Shayera was lost for words. "If you were a mother to him, you would of done anything to protect him, even if it meant your own people turning their back on you. Ash trusted you and you betrayed that trust. You must be so proud of yourself." Harleen backed away from the cell and left. Shayera felt a shamed of herself. She could of done more but she didn't. Shayera turned and walked further into the cell, head down. She stopped when she heard the cell door open. She looked over and saw Diana had opened the door.

"Don't make me regret this." Diana said as she left. Shayera just looked at the door, debating whether to leave or not.

Control Room

Ash and John entered the room for the force field but saw Hro waiting for them.

"You will not leave here alive." Hro said.

Outside

"Batman, what's your status with the watchtower"? Superman asked. The fighting has been going on for 10 minutes and the Watchtower team should of gained control of the Watchtower right now.

"We reclaimed the tower and everyone is in the escape pod." Batman said.

"What about you?" Superman asked.

"I'm still in the Watchtower." Batman said. This shocked superman.

"What? Get out of there." Superman said.

"I can't do that. The Watchtower will burn up on re-entry if I'm not here to guide it. It has been an honest fighting alongside you." Batman said as he cut communication.

"BATMAN!" Superman shouted as he started to fly to the Watchtower. As Superman was flying, he saw that Deoxys was following him. Deoxys caught up with Superman and looked at him. Superman smiled and nodded at it as he knew why he was there.

Street

Max and Bonnie were running to a safe place but two Thanagarian soldiers were chasing them. They ran for a few minutes before Max lost his footing and tripped. Bonnie saw he fell over and went back to get him.

"Come on Max we need to go." Bonnie said as she grabbed onto Max's hand.

"Don't worry about me, keep running." Max said. But it was too late.

"You're not going anywhere kids." One of the soldiers said as they both landed and walked towards them. Max and Bonnie were preparing for the worst. But a miracle happened. A green dog jumped over the kids and kicked one of the soldiers. The dog then landed on the ground and used dragon breathon the other soldier. They were out cold. Bonnie got a good look at the dog and recognised him.

"Squishy." Bonnie said. Zygarde looked at Bonnie and smiled.

Thanagarian Mothership

John stumbled back and held his face. Ash and John had been fighting Hro a while and had not come close to shutting down the shields. Hro was swinging his axe and Ash was defending himself with his Aura shield.

"Why don't you just go and accept your fate and die." Hro said. Ash brought down the shield and dodged the last swing. He then made a aura punch and made contact to Hro's face. Hro was dazed and Ash continued the assault. As Ash was doing this, John made his way to the control panel and went to shut the force field. Hro saw he was getting close and made his move. Hro grabbed Ash's wrist and booted Ash back. Ash had the wind knocked out of him and was curled up due to the pain. Hro turned towards John and flew towards him. John saw this and made a net with his ring. Hro used his axe to cut through the net and punch John in the face. John went down with Hro stood over him. "You all are weak. The men of this world will fall."

"That's good news for women then." Hro looked behind him and was met with a bat to the face. Hro stumbled back and held his face. He looked at the attacker and saw Harley Quinn standing there. "Did you forget about me?"

"You will pay for that." Hro said as he charged in. Harley saw this and sidestepped the attack. She quickly hit the bat on his back and Hro crashed on the ground. Harley then done a somersault in the air and landed on Hro's back. Ash saw this and was impressed.

"Harley, when did you learn all that?" Ash asked.

"Before we met. I was able to hold my own with Batman from time to time." Harley said. Hro knew she was distracted and took the opportunity to grab her leg and pull her to the floor. Hro got up and grabbed his axe. He stood over Harley.

"At least Shayera was better at defending herself." Hro said as he raised his axe over Harley, ready to strike it down.

"NOOOOOO!!!!!" Ash shouted. Hro swung his axe down and it was blocked by a mace. Hro looked and saw Shayera blocked the attack.

"What are you doing?" Hro asked.

"Choosing the right side." Shayera said as she punched Hro. He got knocked away from Harley. Harley got up and looked at Shayera.

"Why are you helping me?" Harley asked.

"Because someone needs to be there for Ash when he needs it and it should be Ash's future wife." Shayera said as she flew in the battle. Harley was shocked at her statement.

"Future wife?" Harley asked herself. Shayera and Hro were trying to overpower each other with their weapons with neither one giving up. John flew in and punched Hro in the face. Hro axe broke contact and Shayera swung her mace in Hro's face. Ash and Harley saw that he was distracted and knew it was the perfect time to shut down the force field.

"Harley, let's go now." Ash said. Harley nodded and they went over to the control panel. They reached the panel and Harley pulled the lever down, lowering the shields. The power was shutting down and Hro noticed this.

"THAT'S IT!!!!" Hro shouted. He swung his axe and sliced John's ring, injuring his arm. He then punched Shayera in the face, dazing her. He then set his sight on Harley as the power was still shutting down. He held his axe over his head and threw it at Harley. Harley looked over and saw the axe approaching her. She wanted to move but knew she couldn't as the shields were not completely down. She closed her eyes and waited for the impact. For some reason, she didn't feel anything. She opened her eyes and saw Ash standing in front of her.

"Ash?" Harley asked, no response. "Sweetie?" Ash fell to the floor, on his side and Harley could see the axe embedded into his chest. Harley couldn't believe what she was seeing. Was Ash dead? Tears formed in her eyes. "ASH!!!"

"One last time, let go of that lever or you will join him." Hro said pointing at Ash. Harley knew she couldn't let go now, the force field was nearly down now. She looked at Ash and seeing him being so brave protecting her, gave her the courage to hold on the the lever and say to Hro.

"Go deep fry yourself, chicken wing." Harley said. Hro was angry and started charging at Harley. Before he got too close, a aura sphere was thrown and hit him in the face. Causing him to crash into a wall. Harley looked over and Ash with his arm out.

"Harley, I'll protect you til my last breath." Ash said. The power to the force field had shut down and just in time as the watchtower crashed into the generator.

Outside

The watchtower successfully crashed into the generator, which means the hyper bypass was ruined. Superman and Deoxys slowly flew down with Deoxys guiding Batman using psychic.

"You always got to be the hero." Superman said to Batman. Batman looked at him.

"Speak for yourself."

Thanagarian Mothership

Ash was trying to get up but was having much difficulty. Harley saw this and immediately went to Ash's side.

"Ash, stay there. We need someone to look at you first." Harley said.

"Quick surround them." Ash and Harley looked over and saw soldiers come into the room. John and Shayera recovered not long ago and themselves between the soldiers and Ash and Harley. Before another fight broke out, Hro spoke.

"That's enough." Everyone looked at the voice and saw Hro coming to the front of the army. "Our mission has failed. Gather everything and plot a course to a deserted planet."

"Sir, that won't give us enough time to stop the attack." One of the soldiers said.

"It doesn't matter." Hro said. "It's our only option now. We leave in 2 hours, get moving." Hro said. All the soldiers dispersed. Hro gave one last look at Shayera. "I hope you are happy with yourself, you have just killed our people." With that, Hro left. When Shayera heard that, she felt like she lost everything.

Wayne Manor/Outside

It was the next day and the earth was safe and free from the invaders. The whole planet was now busy rebuilding. Ash was taken to the hospital immediately after the fight was over. Harleen wanted to stay by his side but there was a important meeting that all the League members had to be present for. The meeting was about Shayera membership in the League. It wasn't just the heroes that were in the meeting but Ash's friends as well. Everyone that's apart of the watchtower team had a say. Ivy and Team Rocket were also in the building but they were there for a different reason. The League called Shayera in to let her know her future. But before they could tell her, she told them that she was leaving the team. Shayera was on the cliff side, looking at the distance.

"You don't have to leave." Shayera knew who said that. She turned round and saw John.

"I do. I don't want to, but I can't stay if the trust isn't there." Shayera said.

"It can be fixed overtime. But it won't if you leave, it will just stay broken." John said. Shayera knew this was hurting John and she wanted this over quick. She walked up to John.

"It's going to have to stay broken at this moment. I can't stay here. I need to work on myself before I can show myself again. But I will always care about you, John Stewart." Shayera said. She then kissed John. John knew this was possibly the last kiss he was going to share with her. She broke the kiss and walked to the cliff edge again. Before she flew off, John had a question.

"Are you going to see Ash before you leave? He deserves a goodbye." John said. Shayera lower her head and looked at the ground.

"I can't." Shayera said. She then spread her wings and flew away. John stood there for a moment before turning round. When he turned, he saw Ash standing there. He looked heartbroken. The woman he saw as his mother didn't say a word before she left. John saw he was about to cry so he walked over to Ash and gave him a hug. Ash let his tears come out and buried his head into John's shoulder. This was the worst day of Ash's life. He lost another mother. After a moment, Ash and John were walking to the meeting room where everyone else was. As they were walking down the hallway, Harleen stepped out and spotted them. She immediately rushed over to Ash.

"Sweetie, what are you doing? You should be in hospital." Harleen said. Ash smiled at her to let her know everything was fine.

"They let me out. They said I just need to rest for 14 days then I'll be go to go." Ash said. Harleen knew Ash was tough but also knew that he had his limits as well. Harleen kissed Ash on the lips. Then she broke it and looked at him.

"Ok, but that means your on bed rest when we get back home. I can be your personal nurse." Harleen said with a wink. Ash imagined her in a nurse outfit and got excited with the idea.

"I think I'm going to like my new nurse." Ash said. Harleen smiled at his response.

"Harleen, what did you come out here for anyway?" John asked. Both Ash and Harleen forgot John was there and had embarrassed looks on their faces.

"Everyone wanted me to get you for something. Since your here Ash, you should come in too." Harleen said. She took Ash by the arm and led him to the room. John followed them. As they entered the room, everyone were surprised by Ash's sudden appearance.

"Ash, why aren't you resting?" Professor Oak asked.

"Doctors discharged me, I'll be fine." Ash said.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure he gets his rest later." Harleen said.

"Well it's good to see you back on your feet." Superman said. He then got everyone's attention. "Now with the business with Shayera out of the way, there's a few more things that need to be discussed." He then looked at Poison Ivy. "Ivy, can you step forward please?" Ivy looked around the room, confused. She walked forward and stopped in front of Superman. "Ivy, just like with Harleen, you have amazed me with your recent acts of heroism. I know we asked you this before, but I'm hoping you will say yes this time. When the Watchtower is rebuilt and back in orbit, we would like you to be a official member of the Justice League." As he said this, he held out a ID card with her picture on. Ivy couldn't believe this. She only helped them out a few times, but were her actions that noticeable. Ivy took a while to decide and Harleen decided to help out.

"Ivy." Harleen said. Ivy looked at her. "Take it, we both know the life of crime isn't for us anymore." Ivy knew she was right. She liked doing good deeds better then causing damage. She looked at the card and took it.

"I accept, thank you." Ivy said. Everyone in the room cheered. Then Team Rocket thought it was time to make their leave. As they were leaving, Batman caught everyone's attention.

"Where do you think you three are going?" Batman asked. Team Rocket turned round and saw everyone looking at them.

"We were going to get out of everyone's way." Jessie said.

"This seems like yous guys business." Meowth said.

"Yeah, no one likes being a third wheel." James said. Batman then took out something out of his belt.

"But we'd like to ask the same question." Batman said. He showed a ID card with Team Rocket on it. "We want you three to be part of the engineering team on the Watchtower." Team Rocket couldn't believe this.

"That's amazing, but why us?" Meowth asked.

"You built gadgets at a fast rate which can be a asset to us. Also Ash recommended to take you on." Batman said. The Rockets looked at Ash.

"You deserve it guys. It's a stable job and plenty of food." Ash said. At hearing this, Team Rocket's eyes lit up.

"We accept." Jessie said taking the card.

"Thank you everyone." James said. He then looked at Ash. "And thank you Ash."

"It's no problem. I'm looking forward to starting over with you guys." Ash said. The Rockets nodded at that statement.

"Same here buddy." Meowth said. Superman then looked and walked towards Ash.

"Lastly, this is about you Ash." Superman said. Ash was surprised at this. "Since you came to this world, you had been serving as a apprentice. But now you are of age, we can now appoint you full membership of the League. And I think you like the hero name we gave you." Superman said as he gave Ash his ID card. Ash looked at it and saw his picture. His eyes lit up when he saw his hero name. POKEMON MASTER. He never achieved this title in his old world. But now he can live on his dream with his hero name and give people hope as well. Ash looked at everyone.

"Thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me." Ash said. Everyone gave him a round of applause. Everyone was just then talking to each other and discussing what was going to happen in the new Watchtower. Ash was looking out the window and Harleen came up and joined him.

"What are you thinking about sweetie?" Harleen asked. Ash was thinking about how far he came and all the people he had met. Ash looked at Harleen and wrapped his arm around her.

"I'm thinking about how happy I am right now." Ash said as he kissed her on the forehead. Harleen smiled and put her head on his shoulder. They both then looked at the sky and thought what the future had in store with them.
