Chapter 27

Kid Stuff

Watchtower/Ash's Quarters

Everything on the watchtower was quiet, unusually quiet. There was no emergencies and hardly any crimes happening down on earth. This was the perfect time for Ash and Harleen to have some alone time together. Ash and Harleen had recently got engaged and agreed to have one more fun filled date before they start any wedding planning. Superman, Batman and Diana are the only people that know about the engagement. They have agreed that unless its a sort of emergency that threatens the world, the League wasn't going to contact Ash or Harleen at all. Ash was putting on his shirt when there was a knock on his door.

"Come in." Ash said. The door opened and Gary came into the room.

"Hey Ashy Boy, what's up?" Gary asked.

"Gary, I wasn't expecting you. What can I do you for?" Ash asked.

"I heard you got the day off today and I was wondering if you wanted to go fishing like the good days?" Gary asked. Any other day, Ash would have leapt at the opportunity to fishing with Gary since they haven't gone fishing for ages. But Ash can't go this time since he was going on a date with Harleen, probably the last date before the wedding planning starts.

"Sorry Gary, but I already have plans with Harleen and its kind of a special date." Ash said. Gary got a guess what he was planning to do.

"Is today the day? Are going to pop the big question?" Gary asked. Ash had to hold in his laugh. He thought it was funny that he'd say that and yet Ash is already engaged.

"Maybe. We're going to England for the day so I could ask the question there." Ash said.

"Ok, have a good time and we'll go fishing another time." Gary said.

"Yes, absolutely. I'm looking forward to it." Ash said. Gary nodded and left the room.

Observation Deck

Ash made his way to the main hall to meet Harleen at the teleport pads. As he was getting nearer to the pads, he was getting more nervous. Everytime Ash and Harleen try to have a date, something always happens that cuts the date short. Ash is hoping that this date will the exception and nothing happens. Ash reached the pads and sees Harleen waiting for him. She was wearing a white shirt and a blue skirt. Ash just couldn't believe that soon she is going to be his wife. Harleen saw him coming and smiled upon seeing him.

"Hi sweetie, you look handsome as ever." Harleen said.

"And you get more beautiful every time I see you." Ash said as he reached her and she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. They stopped kissing and looked at each other again. "Are you ready for our date?"

"I am." Ash said. "I'm just hoping nothing happens."

"I'm sure nothing will happen." Harleen said.

"But every time everything looks fine, something comes up and I have to leave you stranded. I don't want that to happen today." Ash said. Harleen could tell Ash never liked leaving her alone and she thought of something that could cheer him up.

"I'll tell you what. If you have to leave again, then I'll have a surprise waiting for you after you're done." Harleen said. Ash was interested in the surprise.

"What sort of surprise?" Ash asked.

"A naughty surprise." Harleen said. Ash smiled at this.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah." Harleen said seductively.

"You guys, everyone can hear you." They heard Tracey's voice over the speakers and they looked and saw the heroes and staff looking at them. Ash and Harleen laughed nervously.

"Sorry." Ash said. The heroes and staff then went on with their business. Ash then looked at Tracey. "Sorry Tracey."

"Don't worry about it. Everything's all ready for you two." Tracey said.

"Thanks Tracey." Harleen said. Ash and Harleen started to walk onto the pads. Then Harleen remembered something. "Have you got your Pokemon just in case?"

"Just six of them. Everyone else is in the Pokemon room training." Ash said. Harleen nodded and they got into position. "Ok Tracey, we're ready."

"Ok, sending you to England now." Tracey said as he pressed a few buttons. Lights started to appear around Ash and Harleen.

"England, here we come." Harleen said as her and Ash disappear in the light.

England

It was a nice sunny day on the streets of London. The sun was beaming down, the smell of flowers were in the air and people were giving off a friendly atmosphere. Ash and Harleen's faces had always had a smile on their faces, never disappearing for a second. They went all over London, The Thames, The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, everywhere. They'd even been buying souvenirs for their friends and each other. Ash brought Harleen a Union Jack shirt and Harleen brought him a Union Jack top hat. They have been on the move for five hours and now they are on the London eye, overlooking the whole city. Holding each other close.

"Isn't this romantic?" Harleen said. Ash just smiled her.

"Yes it is." Ash said. "But knowing you, you find anything romantic." They both chuckled at this comment.

"You know me too well." Harleen said. Then Harleen came up with an idea. "I know we weren't going to talk anything wedding related until after today. But wouldn't it be wonderful..."

"If we had the wedding here?" Ash finished. Harleen looked at Ash.

"Do you think it's a stupid idea?" Harleen asked. Ash smiled, shook his head and held Harleen tight.

"Absolutely not." Ash said. "We can have a look around for venues around the whole of England and see who is willing to host a wedding with a load of superheroes." Ash joked. "I'm sure we can find a countryside venue that everyone can enjoy."

"Look who's taking interest in the wedding now." Harleen joked. Ash then had to ask Harleen something.

"You don't mind if I spent some time with Gary when we get back, do you?" Ash asked. Harleen looked at Ash.

"Of course not, why do you ask?" Harleen asked.

"Gary asked if I wanted to go fishing with him today and it just sort of reminded me that we haven't actually caught up with each other since coming to this world." Ash said.

"Why don't you go with him tomorrow? You could also ask him if he wants to be best man." Harleen said. Ash was a little shocked at the suggestion.

"Maybe, but I still haven't made up my mind who I want to be best..." Ash was interrupted by screaming in the distance. Ash and Harleen turned round and saw a mass of people running in one direction. They saw some sort of wave coming towards them. "Lets get back to the watchtower and find out what's going on." Ash pulled out his receiver and pressed the return button. Nothing happened. He tried again but nothing. What was going on?

"Ash, look out." Harleen said. Ash looked up and saw the wave was about to crash into them. Ash quickly grabbed Harleen and covered her from getting hit by the wave.

Parallel World

Ash opened his eyes and he didn't know what he was seeing. Just space with large rocks floating in place and they had people on them. Harleen saw this too and walked forward a little bit.

"What happened?" Harleen asked.

"I have no idea." Ash said.

"ASH!!!" Ash and Harleen looked behind them and saw their friends and The League. "Are you two hurt?" Serena asked.

"No, we're fine. Is everyone here?" Harleen asked. May and Clemont shook their heads.

"Max and Bonnie are still missing." Clemont said.

"We dropped them off at school when this happened. I wonder where they are?" May asked.

"They are still on earth." A voice was heard. Everyone got into defensive positions and got ready for anything.

"Who's there?" Brock asked. Everyone covered their eyes when a bright light suddenly emerged. When they were able to see, they saw Morgaine hovering over them.

"You." John said. Everyone knows who she is and what she nearly done to the world. "What have you done now?"

"I can assure you all, this wasn't my doing. It's my sons, Mordred." Morgaine said as she landed in front of them.

"What's going on?" Superman asked.

"My son has banished all adults from earth, anyone over 18 years old was sent here along with anyone that turns 18." Morgaine said.

"So earth is literally being ran by kids now?" Poison Ivy asked. Then James came up with a question.

"If you are his mother, why didn't you stop him?" James asked.

"He has became too powerful that I can't stop him. He is wearing an amulet that is giving him this power. He is still absorbing the amulets power. But if it were to be removed before he absorbs too much, I might be able to reverse the spell." Morgaine explained. But there was a massive set back.

"But how are we suppose to get the amulet away? We can't get back to her." Diana said.

"You can't get back yet. There is a way to get you back and stop Mordred. I can send you back right now." Morgaine said. The heroes looked at each other, silently agreeing with each other. This was the only way to get everyone back.

"We'll do it." Batman said. Superman turned to Ash.

"Ash, while we're gone, keep ev..." Morgaine interrupted Superman.

"Ash needs to go to earth. His power is the only thing that can disrupt magic. He must go for you to have a chance at beating my son." Morgaine said. Ash was backed up into a corner here. He could tell that Superman was trying to keep him out of it, but Morgaine did raise a good point. He was the only one that could keep Mordred occupied if they needed to retreat. Ash looked at Harleen with an apologetic face.

"So much for a hero free day. I'm sorry Harley." Ash said. Harleen closed the gap between them and kissed him. When they parted, she looked at him.

"Don't be sorry. Just make sure to come back to us and I'll have that surprise for you waiting at home." Harleen said. Ash smiled, knowing Harleen didn't hold any hard feelings. Ash walked away from Harleen and joined Superman, Batman, John and Diana.

"We're ready." Superman said. The heroes suddenly got lifted into the air as Morgaine was getting ready to send them to earth.

"Remember, get the amulet away. The sooner you do it, the better chance there is that I can reverse the spell. Now go." Morgaine said as the heroes disappeared in a blinding light. Harleen looked at where Ash last was before being sent away.

"Be careful."

Earth

The landscape on earth has changed. The sky was orange, the ground was made of brick and the buildings had been made into a gothic, medieval looking buildings. A flash of light appeared behind a boulder and instantly disappeared. One by one, Ash and the heroes emerged from behind the boulder. But something was different about them. They seemed to be shorter, really short. They turned into kids. Their costumes shrunk to their size. But with Ash, he had the same clothes on back when he started his journey in the Kanto region. They felt dazed and light headed at first but it quickly went away.

"What happened?" Diana asked.

"I don't know. But what ever it was, it so did feel uncomfortable." John said. Superman looked at his hands then at his body.

"Oh man, I got go through puberty again?" Superman asked himself.

"Is everyone ok, anyone hurt?" Ash asked. Everyone shook their heads.

"Does everyone still remember what we got to do?" Batman asked.

"Yeah, we do. We're not idiots." Superman said childishly.

"Hey, don't talk to him like that." Diana said. Superman got into Diana's face.

"Or what?" Superman asked. Ash had enough of the bickering.

"ENOUGH!!!!!" Ash shouted. Everyone stopped and looked at him. "Is this how me and Misty acted when we first met? No wonder Brock left for a while. I'd go insane by now." Ash finished venting and composed himself. "Look, we're here because we got to get the amulet away from Mordred quickly before this stays permanent. Now there's a whole line of children going into that building, which I guess Mordred is. So lets go in there and get this over with. Ok?" Ash pointed at Superman. He nodded. He then pointed at Diana. "Ok?" Diana nodded. Ash then pointed at Batman. "Ok?" Batman nodded. "O..." Ash stopped himself when he saw John wearing glasses, courtesy of his ring. "Why are you wearing glasses?"

"My eyesight was really bad when I was younger. If I don't have these, I wouldn't be able to see a thing. To answer your question, Ok." John said. Ash took one last look at the heroes.

"Ok, lets go."

Mordred's Castle

Inside the castle, the hall was massive with torches perched up on the walls. There's a long line of children that leads up to a throne at the end of the castle. On that throne is Mordred, with a bored look on his face.

"Next." Mordred said. A couple of children came up to make a request.

"Please, we have ran out of milk at home. We desperately need more." The older child said. Mordred sighed and waved his hand, making a cow appear next to the children.

"There, no begone." Mordred said. The children took the cow and left the castle. "When I decided to rule over this world, I never helping peasants would be so boring." Mordred said.

"Why don't you undo the spell then?" Mordred heard the voice and looked at the far end of the castle. There stood Ash and the other heroes. "Or are you too much of a child to admit that you were wrong?" Ash asked. Mordred just laughed what he was seeing.

"Am I seeing this right? The Justice League, the group of heroes that stopped me and my mum last time, turned into kids? What a sight to behold. I thought my spell sent you somewhere else, not turn you into kids." Mordred said. Ash and the heroes started walking towards Mordred.

"You did, but someone we both know helped us back here." John said.

"Doesn't matter if my mum helped you back here, I don't think a bunch of powerless kids is going to stop me." Mordred said. Superman had an annoyed look on his face. He then started levitating off the floor. Mordred smile disappeared from his face.

"Powerless?" Superman asked. He then flew towards Mordred. Out of instinct, Mordred put up a barrier, blocking Superman. Superman crashed to the floor, next to the other heroes. After this happened, Mordred realised something. If Superman still had his powers, then Ash would still have his powers. When Mordred looked back at Ash, he saw him with his hand up, pointing it at him.

"Last chance. Break the spell now or I'll make you break it." Ash said. He could see Mordred trembling.

"Never." Mordred said nervously.

"Fine." Ash said as he was preparing to use his aura. Mordred closed his eyes, getting ready for the impact. But nothing happened. Mordred opened his eyes and saw Ash looking at his own hand. Ash then point his hand at Mordred again and strained himself, trying to make his aura work. Still nothing. "What's going on? Why can't I use my power?" Mordred then laughed uncontrollably.

"You lost all your powers? That's great. After all this time, I can finally do this." Mordred said as he fired and magical beam at Ash. It struck him and got knocked to the ground.

"Ash." Diana said as she bent down to help him. Mordred wanted rid of them now.

"I'm getting tired of you all now. So my pet is going to keep you entertained. Down to the pit." Mordred said as the ground beneath the heroes opened up. The heroes fell through and the ground quickly closed up.

The Pit

"Ash, ASH!!" Ash woke up on the cold, hard ground. He looked up and saw the other heroes looking at him. Ash sluggishly sat up and rubbed his head.

"Is everyone okay?" Ash asked.

"We're fine. Only you and Batman fainted. The only ones who can't fly." Superman said. A batarang was thrown at Superman's head, which bounced off. Superman looked at Batman and he was just looking anywhere else.

"Ash, what happened up there?" Diana asked.

"Yeah, why didn't you attack him and end all of this?" John asked. Ash was contemplating what happened moments ago.

"I couldn't." Ash said. They didn't like that answer.

"What do you mean you couldn't?" Batman asked.

"I couldn't use my aura at all, like I lost control of it." Ash said.

"Any idea why this has happened?" Superman asked.

"I don't know." Ash said. Ash was trying to think of what it could be. He thought back to his journeys back in the Pokemon world. He then had a theory. "It might have to do with my age."

"Why your age?" Batman asked.

"The only time I used my aura back in my world was when I was at the Tree Of Beginning, I was in my only teens. Maybe I can't use my aura now is because I'm 10 years old and it's not powerful enough yet." Ash explained. It made sense but also came at the worst possible time.

"So we haven't got anyway to counter his magic? That's just great." Superman angrily said. John then remembered something.

"Wait a minute, you used your aura back in that fake Pokemon world. What's different now?" John asked.

"That whole world was just an illusion. I might have looked 10 there but I was still an adult." Ash said. They suddenly heard a growling noise. The team went back to back, ready for anything. A gate started to raise from the wall. A shape appeared from the shadow. It came into the light and it revealed to be Etrigan, but he was small. He was a baby. Superman burst out laughing.

"That's it? That's Mordred's pet? This is going to be easy." Superman said as he walked up to the baby.

"Be careful man." John said. Superman looked at John.

"What's this thing going to do?" Superman said pointing at Baby Etrigan. The baby leapt up and bit his finger. This caused him pain. "OOOWWWWW!!!!!!! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" Ash pulled out a pokeball.

"Charizard, hold Etrigan down." Ash said as he threw his pokeball. The ball snapped open and out came, Charmander? "Charmander? What's going on?"

"It maybe the case that the spell applies to pokemon as well." Batman theorised. Diana walked up to Superman and Baby Etrigan. She grabbed hold of Etrigan and started smoothing him. The baby started to calm down and let go of Superman. Diana then cradled Etrigan like a baby.

"There you go. You're not so bad after all." Diana said. Etrigan was now happy being treated like a baby. Everyone was relaxed now.

"Good. Now that's been sorted, where do we go now?" John asked.

"Outside?" Batman asked.

"That would be great but how would we get outside?" John asked. Batman pointed at something.

"Window." Batman said.

Outside

Ash and the others went through the window and making distance from the castle. They were going to find a safe place and come up with a plan of attack. They were coming to the town centre and they saw a large crowd of kids fighting amongst themselves.

"This is not good. If this carries on, they may start hurting themselves." Batman said.

"Let me handle this. I'll show them who's boss." Superman said. Ash stepped in front of him.

"They're just scared. Without their parents, they don't what to do. Most of them don't know how to look after themselves." Ash said.

"May I remind everyone that we are on a time limit be this is forever." John said while gesturing at his child form. "We still need to come up with a plan and dealing with this will take too long. So I thin..."

"You talking is taking too long." Diana said. She then turned to Ash. "Hold the baby." She handed Etrigan to Ash and started to march over to the crowd. As she got closer, she heard some of the comments.

"Who took our parents?"

"Who's going to cook my dinner?"

"No parents rule, lets raid the sweet store." Diana heard enough.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!!!!!!" Diana shouted. Everyone stopped and looked at her. "I can't believe what I am hearing. A lot of you should be a shame of yourselves for the things you are saying. Your parents raised you to be good children that help each other when it counts. Not selfish brats that are thinking about causing a riot on the streets. Your parents will be home soon, so I suggest that you go home, clean the place up and stay there for when they come back." Diana said all this with a tone of voice that said, do as I say or I will punish you myself. The kids quietly made their way back home without saying another word. The others joined her.

"You know how to work a crowd." Superman said.

"Lesson of the day, don't get on a girls bad side." Diana said as she took Etrigan from Ash.

"Hey, you guys." They looked over and saw Max and Bonnie running over to them.

"Max, Bonnie, you're safe." Ash said.

"Yeah. When everyone vanished, we thought about going to the watchtower. But when no one responded, we decided to stay down here." Max said.

"That was a good call. There's no telling what would happen without anyone working the electronics up there." John said.

"But what's happening? Where's everyone?" Bonnie asked.

"They're in another dimension and unless we stop Mordred and get the amulet from him. They'll be stuck there." Superman said.

"So what's the plan then?" Max asked.

"I'd say our best approach would be a stealth attack." Batman said. Everyone was thinking about the idea.

"Since a head on attack didn't work, that should be our next move." Ash said.

"Ok, we all take different positions in the castle and attack from all different directions." Diana said. She then looked at Batman and made another plan. "Actually, me and Batman will go in the same position."

"Whatever." Batman said.

"What's going on between those two?" John asked.

"You have glasses, yet you are still blind." Superman said to John.

"What do we do?" Bonnie asked. Diana looked at them with a stern face.

"You are staying out of this. It's going to be dangerous." Diana said. Just then, Ash heard a voice.

"Ash." Ash stepped back and looked around, trying to find the voice. He knew the voice.

"Arceus?" Ash asked.

"Hold out your hand, they will help you win." Arceus said. Ash held out his hand and a bright light appeared, catching everyones attention. The light died down and two pokeballs appeared. They snapped opened and two pokemon appeared on the ground. Ash looked at them and had a brilliant idea.

"I've got a plan."

Mordred's Castle

There was a tense atmosphere in the main hall. Mordred was pacing from one side of his throne to another. He was trying to entertain himself since he had nothing to do since granting the children's requests.

"Bored, bored, bored, bored, BORED!!!!" Mordred shouted. "It hasn't even been a day and yet I have nothing to do. I should have kept those justice brats here a little longer so I had something to do. If I had my way, I would have turned one of them into a frog. Another into talking furniture. Another..."

"To cover your eyes?" Ash sneaked up behind Mordred and put his eyes over his eyes to distract him. "Now guys." Superman and John flew towards the pair to attempt to get the amulet away. Ash tried his best to keep Mordred's eyes covered, but because of Ash's lack of aura, Mordred easily overpowered Ash. Mordred removed Ash's hands from his face and kicked him away. Mordred then saw Superman and John. He hit them with a magical beam and causes them to crash to the floor, next to Ash. Mordred had a satisfied look on his face.

"At last, some fun." Mordred said.

"Then you're going to find this funny." Mordred turned round and Diana punched him in the face. Mordred stumbled back, heading towards a waiting baby Etrigan. Once he got close enough, Etrigan bit his butt. "OWWWWWW!!!!" Mordred quickly grabbed Etrigan and threw him at the ground heroes. Ash saw Etrigan in the air and quickly caught him before he got hurt. Diana put Mordred in a sleeper hold, trying to get him to pass out. Mordred flipped Diana over his body. Diana landed hard on the floor. Mordred then kicked Diana to the other heroes. Batman watched the whole thing and figured the team needed to regroup. He jumped in front of the team and threw a batarang at Mordred. He caught it then looked at Batman.

"Is that it?" Mordred asked. But he didn't notice the flashing red light on the side of the batarang. He then saw it and the batarang exploded. The blast temporarily blinded him. As he was regaining his sight. He saw the heroes had disappeared. "Blast it." In another part of the castle. The League quickly formed in a circle and started making their next plan of attack.

"What are we going to do now? That distraction isn't going to buy us that much time." Batman said.

"We should make a big robot to fight him." John said. Batman didn't like that idea.

"Serious suggestions John." Batman said.

"I'd say we do that stealth attack again but this time we all attack at once." Diana said.

"But he'd be expecting a sneak attack this time." Superman said.

"But if we go with the robot id..." John started saying but Batman stopped him.

"We're not doing your stupid robot idea. If that's the only thing you can come up with, then you'd better..." Ash stopped Batman.

"Batman." Ash said. Batman looked at Ash, then at John. He saw John was a bit hurt by the comment. Batman decided to be the bigger man and apologies.

"I'm sorry John." Batman said. "What's your plan?" After a minute, the doors to the room blew up and Mordred entered the room.

"Ok, where are you brats? You'll pay for that dirty trick." Mordred said. As he walked further into the room, he heard giant stomps coming towards him. It was John in a mecha suit, made by his ring.

"Oh yeah, this is awesome." John said. The mecha deployed missiles at Mordred, which caught him by surprise. The missiles hit and made Mordred slam into one of the walls. As the smoke cleared up, the mecha grabbed Mordred by the face and dragged him along the wall. Rubble came off the wall as the damage was being done. The mecha then threw Mordred to the floor and made a crater in the ground. The mecha landed on top Mordred and pinned him to the ground. "NOW!!!" Ash appeared out the corner and quickly grabbed the amulet from his neck. Ash then threw it in the air.

"Guys now." Ash said. Superman and Diana jumped up and me the amulet in midair. Their fists collided with the amulet and it crumbled into pieces. Thats it, everything should be finished. Why isn't everything turning back to normal? Where's Morgaine? Where's everyone else? For some reason, Mordred started to laugh. Everyone looked at him.

"You fools, you're too late." Mordred said as magical energy started coming off of his body. A magical wave ripped through the room. The wave destroyed the mecha John was in and pinned John against the wall. Superman and Diana were immediately pinned to the wall. Batman threw another batarang, to try to distract Mordred again. But the magical field made the batarang bounce off of him. Mordred looked at Batman. "You humans and your weak toys." Mordred said as he held his hand out and pinned Batman against a wall. Ash punched Mordred in the face to try to make him lose focus. He made contact, but Mordred didn't even flinch. Mordred looked at Ash with a death glare. "You." Mordred held his hand out and made Ash suspend in midair. "You made me and my mother retreat the last time we met. We never had to do that before. You humiliated us. If it wasn't out of fear of your power coming back, I would make you my servant, no, a fool. But because of that fear, I will end your life right here." Mordred built up a lot of magical energy, ready to strike Ash down.

"Where's my family?" Mordred looked side to side, looking for the voice that he heard.

"Who's there?" Mordred asked.

"Clemont, where are you?" Another voice asked. Mordred was starting to panic with the voices in his head.

"I know you're here somewhere." Mordred said, becoming more distressed.

"I want mama." Another voice said.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! ENOUGH!!!!" Mordred shouted. This was the heroes chance.

"What's wrong? Is your royally duties getting the better of you?" Superman asked sarcastically. Mordred looked at him.

"Yeah. I mean, this sort of job is too much for a kid." Batman said. Mordred then looked at him.

"If only he were an adult, he could handle everything better." Ash said. Mordred looked at Ash with an angry look on his face.

"Do you think I can't do it?" Mordred asked. Ash shrugged his shoulders, hoping Mordred will fool for it. "Very well. I will show you what I am capable of." Mordred then started to use his magic to alter not just his body, but his age. His body slowly started to change. Getting bigger, getting stronger. It took a few moments before he became a fully grown adult. "There, you see. Because of your curiosity, you have made me stronger. Now I can handle anything that comes in my way." But what he didn't realise is that he was slowly disappearing. He looked at his hands and saw they were transparent. "What? What is going on?"

"I'm surprise you haven't caught on." John said. Mordred looked at John. "No grown ups allowed."

"And you broken your own rule." Diana said. Mordred was panicking now. Everything he built was going to disappear. He looked at Ash again.

"Why do you always ruin my plans? Why couldn't you just stay with the other grown up?" Mordred asked. Ash just smirked.

"Because this isn't your world, it's everyones." Ash said.

"AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Mordred screamed as he disappeared. The magic went away and the heroes were let go of their hold. Ash got up and saw the castle was starting to disappear. The plan worked. Ash looked at one of the corners on the disappearing castle.

"Guys, you can come out. It's all over." Ash said. Out of the corner, Max, Bonnie and Baby Etrigan came out. But there were two other additions with them. Manaphy and Shaymin. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, we did as you planned out and used Manaphy's heart swap get into Mordred's head." Max said.

"And we had Shaymin on standby just in case." Bonnie said. The other heroes joined in with the others.

"Still, everything returning back to normal now." Diana said as the castle was completely gone and people started coming back. Harleen and the others appeared and saw the kid Justice League.

"You guys did it." Meowth said.

"Yes they did." They looked behind them and saw Morgaine was floating in front of them. "I want to thank you for putting my son in his place."

"What's going to happen to him now?" Batman asked.

"I gave my son the enchantment of eternal youth. Now he has broken it, so he's only got eternity. He will not be a threat anymore." Morgaine said. She waved her hand and everyone, except Ash turned back into adults. "You will not be seeing me again."

"Hey, what about me?" Ash asked.

"You'll be an adult once this happens." Morgaine said. Ash was confused by this. Flash then came in front of Ash with a camera.

"Smile." Flash said.

Ash and Harleen's House

Harleen was putting up the picture of 10 year old Ash in the living room.

"Do you really have to put that up?" Ash asked. He felt embarrassed with the photo up.

"We haven't got any child photos of you. Also it's a great conversation piece about how my fiancé saved the world when he was 10." Harleen joked. Ash didn't mind it as Harleen seemed happy with it. But Ash had to be somewhere else.

"I'm just heading out now Harleen. I'll be home around dinner." Ash said as he kissed her.

"Have a nice time." Harleen said as Ash left the house.

Lake

Ash, Gary and Brock were sitting by the side the lake, with their fishing lines in the water. It was a perfect setting. The sun was going down and there was a cool breeze coming in.

"This was well overdue." Gary said.

"You can say that again." Ash said. Brock looked at both of them.

"Thanks for asking me to come along. I never done this before." Brock said. Ash wanted them to be here because he was going to tell them about him and Harleen.

"Actually, there's something I needed to tell you two." Ash said. Just then, Brock's line started pulling away. This caught their attention.

"I got a bite." Brock said as he got up and started reeling his line in. Gary then turned to Ash.

"So what's the news Ash?" Gary asked. This is the moment.

"Me and Harleen are getting married." Ash said. Gary was shocked and Brock lost his footing, falling into the lake. Brock emerged from the water with the fishing pole still his hand.

"Married?" Brock asked, still shocked.

"When did this happen?" Gary asked.

"On Superman's birthday." Ash said. Brock got out of the water, threw the line back into the water and sat back down with the others. "It just feels right. Me and Harleen really want this."

"You really have changed from when I first knew you." Brock said. "But we are really happy for you."

"Yeah, when you're with Harleen, there isn't a moment where a smile isn't on your face." Gary said. Ash was glad about this and continued on.

"Thats good. Because I want to ask you two if you want to be my best men." Ash said. Gary and Brock were speechless. "I've known you two for a long time and it would really mean a lot."

"Ash, you know the answer to this already." Gary said.

"You got nothing to worry about Ash." Brock said. Ash smiled knowing he had two best men.

"Thanks guys." Ash said. The boys then looked at the lake again. Thinking about what the future holds.

"Why haven't you told anyone else yet?" Gary asked.

"Because it's going to be chaos when it comes out." Ash joked.
