Cammie Morgan is a Whisperer, living in between two worlds (the Clan kingdom and the human world) while simultaneously living in fear of the Ominous. Zachary Goode is a Manipulator, who after reading the Strife Scrolls, discovers that there is only one person who can take the Ominous down- Cammie Morgan herself. He tells her everything, except for the biggest thing- the Story.
