Chapter 18
Lonely Heart
The weather wasn't the best.
It was rather cold, which is odd as it was the middle of April. Yuuri thinks it is April. He was never too sure while being in Shina Makaou – he thought about talking with Gwendal about bringing seasons, months and dates to the Kingdom.
The young Alpha King was in his office, and was thoroughly bored. He had been signing papers for hours now – starting right after his morning run. Yuuri grimaced a little – his right hand dumb from a recent cramp up.
Wearily, Yuuri glanced up at the tall grey haired male standing near his desk. Gwendal had been practically quiet for past few months and Yuuri couldn't blame him honestly. He bites back a sigh, and looked back down at the paper in front of him.
Before, he would have been so lost in his thoughts that he would just sign anything to make the process go faster – something a certain fire haired woman took for her advantage – however Yuuri had begun to keep close attention to what his royal black ink would touch.
Yuuri felt his lips twitch into a smirk, as he wrote a neat and polite denial across the crisp white page Anissina had sneaked into his paper work again.
Once more, Yuuri looked up at his royal adviser – just the mind-numbing sound of the soft ticking from his desk clock.
A gift his father had given him on his 18thbirthday, at first Yuuri wasn't too fond on the small clock however it had quickly grown on him and now it was one of the items Yuuri treasured. It was an old wooden clock with class and china shell over the clock face. It was the royal black colour with simple silver edges.
Yuuri straightened himself up, and slapped his hands firmly on the desk top. He pushes himself to his feet, and turned his dark eyes to his adviser.
"I am taking a break now. I'll resume after lunch," he spoke firmly.
Yuuri forced his once boyish voice high, which left no place for argument.
Gwendal turned to look at the younger male, and felt somewhat a guilty shiver run up his spin as he found the Alpha's innocent, large and round eyes staring back at him with no ill intent within them.
However, Gwendal also knows that Yuuri had learnt to use those 'innocent' eyes to his advantage – tricking and manipulating the nobles many times over since he had turned 20 years old.
Just as the older Demon went to spoke, his white chipped lips parting to speak when suddenly the sound of knuckles brushing firmly against the office door caught both men's attention.
A tall, crimson haired solider stood within the door frame. His arms were locked at his sides with his head tilted backward slightly. His shoulders were broad, and looked much older than Yuuri himself.
Dark brown eyes stares into the room, and he bowed his head a little as he noticed said Alpha King.
"Ah. Permission to speak? Sir Von Voltaire," the man said, stepping further into the room and bowing low to the man.
Yuuri clocked his head, before his eyes flickers in realization. The red-haired man wore a green suit, and was one of Gwendal's men. He glanced up at said man, and wondered what exactly is turning in his head.
Gwendal nodded with a deep grunt, and the solider seemed to relax but Yuuri couldn't tell really. Only a slight movement from the man's head made Yuuri believe he was a little relaxed but he couldn't tell for certain.
Gwendal's solders were different to Conrad's.
Yuuri found Gwendal's solders always on alert even when they weren't in suit, Yuuri had noticed all his men even off duty were training and studying. While Conrad's men – while they were on alert as well however they knew when relax and when to take a break. It was like Gwendal's men didn't like taking breaks.
"My team is back from the western village. I'd like to report what we have found," the man spoke. His voice dipping into a dark like tone as he spoke of his most recent mission.
Once again, Gwendal nodded and crossed his arms tightly over his broad chest.
The man inhaled deeply, and made a low click like sound as his teeth pressed together, "After we left the middle town, my group were ambushed. Near the crossed track, and behind the forest well," he explained and Yuuri's eyes widen in surprise.
Gwendal's own eyes narrowed. He pressed his lips into a tight line and turned towards the large window behind Yuuri's desk, shifting to stare out of the glass as if whatever out there would tell him the answers he needed.
Yuuri stared after him, feeling as if there was more to this then the dark-haired man was letting on.
"There were no casualties. Nobody was injured more than a few scratches and bruises. However, I believe the new circuit had a bit of trouble. I believe he is still struggling with a sword on the battlefield," the man explained.
Yuuri could tell the man was annoyed with this new circuit. He felt bad for this new solider.
Gwendal let out a grunt, and nodded. His long ponytail swishes a little behind him, "Have him take another spare field," he spoke dismissingly and his solider nodded firmly.
"The men that ambushed us were very skilled and not just the run of the mil bandits. We believe they were human, but we couldn't be too sure," the man quickly added.
"We believe they are from the same group that had ambushed Sir Weller's team last month,"
Finally, Gwendal turned to face his solider and his eyes closed a little. He grunted, and pressed his fingers to his forehead.
"I see. Is that all?" he breathed out.
The red-haired man nodded with another low bow.
"Then you're dismissed."
The man clicked his boots together and bowed to Yuuri as he turned to leave. Just as he was about to exit the room, he paused and looked back at his Commander.
"Sir? One last thing…we believe there might have been an Omega or two with them. We weren't able to confirm it, but several of us had noted a certain fruit like smell coming from two of them,"
Eyebrows raised to his forehead, Gwendal seemed surprised and another wrinkle could be seen forming.
"Omegas? Are you sure you smelt that scent?" he questioned darkly.
The man nodded, and Yuuri noticed how his eyes flickered and the man's cheeks flush a little, "Yes. We're sure we smelt it. Um, few of our men had that issue," he explained and sheepishly looked off to the side.
"You're dismissed," Gwendal finally said after a heavy pregnant silence filled the air.
Yuuri could see the relief appear across the soldier's face.
Gwendal sighed, and rubbed the back of his neck after saving his man from the raw embarrassment.
Yuuri awkwardly shifted his feet and watched as the red-haired man finally left the room. He felt his stomach twist and he turned to look at up at the adviser.
"Gwendal? Why is it so shocking that there might have been Omegas?" he asked in a soft voice.
Yuuri knew about his men being attacked by humans, and there had always been Omegas present – used as bodies to throw or as bodyguards.
It unnerved him when he thought about it, and his hands twitched with anger, but it had always been that way. From the moment, he had stepped into his Kingdom.
However, that man looked beyond embarrassed and even worried that there had been Omegas present. Not just that, but Yuuri hadn't heard about Conrad or Gwendal's teams had been ambushed. He won't lie, it annoyed him a bit that neither man had told him about this.
"Heika. Last year, my baby brother was found and his dynamic is an Omega. I'm sure you know all about that!" Gwendal explained, and sent a glare over at Yuuri who flushed a little and looked away.
The young King rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. Yuuri looked off to the side a little at the swift dig the adviser had shot at him however, Yuuri simply brushed it off and returned his attention back to the man. He levelled the glare with his own stare.
Gwendal grunts in defeat from the Alpha's stare and crossed his arms behind his back, "When Wolfram was found, Gunther and I had passed a law that every solider or a simple citizen would report to the castle if they witness an Omega being used in battle. Too many people have lost their lives," he explained with a deep sound.
Yuuri's eyes widens and he felt slightly let down that neither Gwendal nor Gunther had ran the idea passed him. He would have been behind the law hundred percent, hell, Yuuri wanted to help every Omega.
"What worries me the most is that these bandits are using Omegas in heat to distract our men. Even the most powerful minded and strongest soldiers would fall to an Omega's heated scent," Gwendal uttered out and frowned even deeper. So, deep that stretches Gwendal's face a little.
'The fruity smell?' Yuuri thought, and clicked his tongue.
From what Gwendal said, an Omega in heat would be very difficult to resist. Yuuri hadn't ever smelt an Omega in heat. It made Yuuri wonder what Wolfram would smell in heat. He smells like honey as of now, the sweetest honey with a hint of lemon.
Yuuri really liked his smell.
It always could make him smell, relax and if he was sad, Wolfram's natural smell would always cheer him up. However, if Wolfram was in heat? Yuuri could only wonder what Wolfram would smell like, it would have to be one of the most delicious and sweetest smells he would ever smell.
Feeling his cheeks begin to heat, and his body shiver. Yuuri quickly cancelled his thought train before a certain adviser noticed how lost in thought the King had become. He had to remind himself that Wolfram was Gwendal's young brother and now, he was in a sticky situation with both Omega's older brothers.
"Heika. I believe we can pick up the rest tomorrow, rather than after lunch. I've got a few things to discuss with Gunther and Conrad," he spoke cutlery, "You're dismissed for now,"
Yuuri stared blankly up at the man – wondering if it was a joke but the adviser turned away from him.
'Oh, my god! There really is a god!' he thought, feeling his lips twitching but he quickly backed out the door before the man could change his mind.
"My day just opened," Yuuri muttered to himself as he walked the long corridors.
He tried to keep calm, but he couldn't. He had a spring in his step. It had been months since Gwendal had let him have the day off.
Gwendal had really cracked down on him since last year when they had returned from the Nagi Clan. Yuuri still remembers that day when Conrad had discovered that Yuuri was pinning for Wolfram – which his godson wanted to mate with his baby brother.
Yeah, it hadn't gone down well and it still horrifies Yuuri as he recalls that day.
Since the moment, Gwendal found out, well, he had taken it better than Conrad oddly. Yuuri would say Gwendal had taken it better than Conrad, but then again, Conrad didn't shackle him to his desk to work on paperwork all day and most of the night too.
Yuuri sighed, and pushed his black curls out of his face. Yuuri had learnt one thing since it was finally known that he loved Wolfram (thankfully it hadn't left the castle quite yet) Yuuri had grown up a lot.
He had finally begun to take his role as King seriously, and tried to hit those expectations that was expected from him. No longer would he avoid Gunther and sneak or wonder off from his lessons.
No longer would he try to discard the paperwork that always seem to build up - nowadays the paper work wasn't anyway near as high as it used to be.
Now Yuuri could finish a good amulet of paperwork before lunch. However, Gwendal was always able to somehow find more for him…
The Alpha King had pretty much taken the ball by the horns.
There was one thing Yuuri hadn't let anybody know, not even his Sage knew (who found it beyond amusing how Yuuri was being 'punished' for picking the certain Omega) it was something that Yuuri thought about a lot and it was a driving force for him to grow up and finally settle into the role of King firmly.
His inner self. His Alpha's words still echoed through his head from that day all those months ago, that vision that he had, and that conversation he had with his other self.
The warning he had and how the spirit had told him what to do to protect his Omega.
'The danger Wolfram could be in if it is ever let out how we feel for eachother…' Yuuri thought to himself and bit his bottom lip.
Wolfram was an Omega which would make it even worse for him – Yuuri could already hear the disgusting rumours in his head. He had to be strong, and be there for the Omega when the time comes – he had to protect Wolfram from everyone.
Yuuri swiftly felt down as he thought of the Omega. He hadn't seen Wolfram much at all at during the day, only during dinner at the table however, the Omega always sat at next to Lady Cecile and it was difficult to see the blonde.
"Heika?"
Yuuri broke from his thought from a sweet-tone voice. He turned his head around to find a rather short Beta maid standing behind him, staring up at him with large eager eyes. He blinked a little, and realized it was one of the new maids.
She was pretty, Yuuri had to admit with short pink curls and bright green eyes. She was very beautiful, especially with the feather dusting of freckles across her face.
The soft pink-ish dress hugged her body nicely, with the maid white apron tied around her body. A matching white ribbon tied up in her curls.
"Heika?" she smiled sweetly and clocked her head to the side. She batted her eyes at him, with a cherry red smile.
Yuuri awkwardly shifts on his feet, and nods his head in return.
"Oh. Um yes," he mumbled softly.
The young maid hums softly and places her hands in front of herself, "It seems you're out of shampoo in the royal bathes. I was wondering which shampoo you'd like? Strawberry or cherry?" she said sweetly, and lifted the two bottles with a gleeful glint within her orbs.
Yuuri stared dumbfound for a few seconds, before his eyes widens as he felt a small click within his brain and his cheeks dusted a reddish across his cheeks.
He bites at his bottom lip, and rubs the back of his neck.
"Um. If you don't mind, I'd, um, prefer mango or banana," he said quickly.
His mind turning and twisting as he tried to recall what Gunther or Murata had taught him.
The young maid nodded her head. She tried not to let it show, but Yuuri could tell she was disappointed in his answer and he couldn't help but feel guilt reel in his stomach.
He knew about how a maid would proposal herself out – would suggest to mate or become a concubine to the King. Strawberry to be a mate, or Cherry to become a concubine. However, mango is a friend, or banana is sister friend.
Yuuri mentally thanked Murata for always teasing him about maids. He was so glad to have chosen to take his lessons seriously. He knew that before now, he wouldn't have thought much about it and would have chosen probably cherry knowing his stupid luck.
He could only imagine the anger Gwendal would have or how embarrassed and horrified himself would be to find the maid in his bed one night.
"Of course, Heika. I'll go and find mango right away," the maid said softly, but smiled widely at him.
Yuuri grins and nodded his head in response, "Yes. I'd like that shampoo very much,"
The maid nodded her head, and finally bowed before scattering away in embarrassment. Yuuri stared after her for a few seconds.
"Well that was embarrassing…" he muttered to himself, but smiled a little.
He suddenly had the amusing thought of Wolfram calling him a cheater, not that he had any idea why or why it made him chuckle to himself. Yuuri simple brushed it off as him missing the Omega.
'I guess since my day has just opened up, I'll go see if Greta wants to have lunch together?' Yuuri thought to himself.
He eased himself back around, and began to walk towards the gardens. Deciding to have lunch his with beloved daughter.
Yuuri smiled in thought of his brown-haired daughter. She was becoming a beautiful young woman, and it was rather sad. However, it was her birthday soon and she'll be turning what? 13 years old soon?
Yuuri was dooming the day Greta would become a full-grown woman and suits would be coming around from every Kingdom for her hand. Yuuri frowned to himself, there wasn't a man or um, woman alive that Yuuri would trust Greta too.
Soon Greta would be interested in boys or girls, or well, Yuuri wasn't sure but he does know that soon Greta will come of age for…dating!
Yuuri's nose twitched and he grimaced at the thought – feeling rather sick at the thought but he shook it off with a grunt.
"Come off it Yuuri! You've got a few years before that happens!" he grumbled to himself.
"Heika!" swiftly a shrilly voice squealed out.
Yuuri barely could keep himself up right when he was yanked into a bone-crushing hug. He felt himself being squished, and suffocated into one of the biggest busts he had ever seen.
"L-Lady Cecilie," Yuuri greeted.
Yuuri panted softly as the blond beauty released him and allowed him to stumble away a few steps.
Yuuri pants, and licks at his dry lips before turning to face the beautiful woman.
Lady Cecilie smiles brightly, and brushed a blonde curl off her shoulder. Like always, she was dressed in a skin-tight strap black dress with her breasts looking like they're about to pop out. It was embarrassed Yuuri when he comes face to face with the ex-queen.
"Oh Heika! You're becoming more handsome every day we meet!" She smirked, and winked teasingly but Yuuri knew she was simple teasing after all, she was the only one who was on his side.
Smiling up at her, Yuuri bowed his head in respect to the woman, "And you my lady are becoming more beautiful ever second that passes," he said softly.
Lady Cecilie giggled, and shook her head.
"Aww you flatter me my King," she hummed and righted herself up.
She places her hands onto her hips and smiles brightly.
Finally, Yuuri relaxes. Lady Cecilie had become happier and freely within the year. She no longer had this broken look in her large emerald eyes.
"I was actually coming to find you. I heard that you've been keeping Greta company since Gwendal has kept me busy. I've got the day off today, and was hoping to spend it with her?"
Letting out a low hum, and winking teasingly at the young King. Lady Cecilie crossed her arms over her chest and tilts her body to the side.
"Oh? Greta alone? Are you sure?" she sweetly asks.
Yuuri's eyes widens, and his heart skips a beat. He glances around himself, as if he was expecting certain soldiers in green and brown to be about watching him – observing him however not one person was in sight other than himself and the Queen.
"Shhh! I'll get into more trouble if you say something like that!" he gasped out desperately however.
He wouldn't deny it.
He would love to spend the time with both Greta and him.
"Oh Heika. My sons are very stubborn, but they can't keep love at bay forever! Free love will always win in the end!" she squealed in responses, and giggled at the way Yuuri's face darkened.
She reaches towards him, and cups his face, "Besides, what my sons don't know won't hurt them,"
Yuuri tilts his head in thought. The Ex Queen was right. It wouldn't hurt if they never knew, and besides they're probably too much with the bandits to notice?
Hopefully…and he really missed him and would like to see him rather than waiting.
Eventually, Yuuri couldn't help but smile. Yeah, he'll risk it for five minutes or ten minutes with him and so he nods to her.
Lady Cecilie squeals, and claps her hands together. She then grabbed ahold of Yuuri's hands tightly and dragged him along behind her. Checking around the corners for any soldiers her sons might have placed to keep watch over the young King.
She thought it was childish after all. Both Yuuri and Wolfram were grown men themselves, if they wanted to be together then they should and nobody should stand in their way.
She may be all about free love now, but even she could see Wolfram was happiest with the young Alpha King and she'll do anything to keep her baby happy. If she needs to go behind her eldest son's back, then she will.
"Truth be told, ever since last year, Greta has been spending a lot of time with Wolfe. She likes to help teach him words as he is beginning to speak now but he spends most of time with Gisela," She spoke.
The pair turned around the corner and walked towards a familiar door.
Lady Cecilie paused briefly to watch a young maid in baby blue scatter down the steps holding a basket of laundry.
Yuuri gasped, and his eyes widens, "With Gisela? Is something wrong?" he asked worriedly.
His lips twitching a little, and he clocked his head to the side. He felt excited to know Greta had been spending even more time with Wolfram, as she really likes him and that makes Yuuri very happy. Greta hardly liked any of the people outside of their homes.
It even took her months to warm up to any new maids that would enter the castle. Greta had quickly warmed up to Wolfram and latched onto him every chance she got. She liked to be with him all the time.
Yuuri couldn't help but feel worried though. Why would Wolfram be spending time with Gisela unless something was wrong?
He felt his stomach drop as he remembered the first week they got back to the castle last year. He and Wolfram had to stay in the hospital wring with Gisela – in separate beds thought.
"Ah. No-No. Wolfe find. He's completely healed up! Still very skinny and small, but slowly becoming healthier and healthier!" Lady Cecile says happily, and hums to herself.
She smiles at the thought of her Omega son.
Lady Cecile sighed softly herself, "The reason why Wolfe keeps going to the hospital wing is for his speech – his voice box.
She didn't understand why he couldn't speak. His voice is so raw, and it creaks a lot. Like there is rope around his throat preventing him from speaking…" she said softly, and Yuuri could hear the sadness in her voice.
"Is there anything I can do?" Yuuri asked wearily.
Turning her head in reply, Lady Cecilie smiles, "I'm sure just being there will make Wolfe more happy and relaxed. He's been so down since Gwendie passed that ridiculous rule," she said.
"I'm hope so. Ah, you know the first thing I ever heard from Wolfram, the first word he had ever said to me was wimp?" Yuuri snorted, and grinned to himself.
Even thought that time was fuzzy and hazy, he still remembers certain things. Mostly Wolfram holding him, the fire and most of all, that voice.
It was so sweet and gentle but Yuuri can understand what Lady Cecilie meant by raw. His voice was very low, soft and raw. It broke a lot as he spoke.
He hopes he'll get better to speak more clearly.
Hearing the words, Lady Cecilie's eyes twinkled and she let out a soft laugh.
'Young love…' she thought to herself.
Cecilie noticed the way Yuuri smiles to himself and seems to be lost in thought on the blond Omega.
'It's cruel to keep them apart, Gwendie…' Lady Cecilie added quietly to herself.
Clearing her mind, Lady Cecilie smiles sweetly and brushes a golden curl off her slightly pointed shoulder.
"Come Heika! We don't have much time!" she says excitedly and once more grabbed his hands tightly.
Yuuri snaps out of his thought, and blinked bewilderingly up at her before he smiles that boyish yet handsome grin up at her. He nods his head eagerly.
"Oh…right!" he gasped out and bites cutely at his bottom lip.
"This way~" Lady Cecilie sang, and began to drag the young Alpha King along behind her.
The pair eagerly walked along the corridors with Yuuri anxiously glancing over his shoulder every few seconds. It was like he was expecting one of the men in green or brown to appear and start alerting the alarms.
He shook the thought away, and stressfully ran his fingers through his slightly damp black curls.
The gorgeous and beautiful ex Queen brought Yuuri down the familiar hallway to a large archway of a door. Bright streams of sunlight filled the archway and shined along the walls.
Just as the two stepped into the archway, Yuuri smiled from the way the sun shine kissed his skin and not just that, but sight in front of him made his stomach flip and his hands became clammy.
Yuuri felt his lips pull into a grin at the sight.
The sweet Omega sat within the sunlight that highlighted his face. Wolfram shifts on his behind, the lush green grass brushing along his skin from all sides and he watches briefly as a single bumblebee lands on his shoulder – the fuzzy yellow and black bee wiggles it small bum before leaping back into the air and buzzing off.
Wolfram watched the small bug, and smiles to himself. He didn't know why, but he quite liked bumblebees and found them fascinating.
Wolfram follows the small bee with his eyes, watching as it eagerly lands onto one of the beautiful sunflowers in front of him.
He watched them in awe, mentally noting how beautiful they were before he turned his attention to the young caramel haired beauty sitting in front of him.
Greta smiles widely, and excitedly bounces on the spot. She sat with her legs folded underneath her, and her snow-white sun-dress pooling around her. Greta claps her hands together and leant forward.
"Right Wolfe-chan!" she squealed out, and Wolfram's face became red from the nickname.
"Say it again, but much slower this time!" She said happily.
Wolfram pouts just a little, and licks at his top lip. He nods his head slowly, and his cherry red lips parted.
"S-Sun-flo-we-r," he forced himself to say.
Wolfram's throat burned as he forces the letters from between his lips.
Greta's eyes twinkles and glows, catching the sunlight above her and she claps her hands again, "Right! Sunflower!" she squealed out, and her short curls bounces as she rocks.
Wolfram smiles shyly at her. He knew it didn't sound right, the way he spoke the word but he felt warmth fill his chest from how happy Greta would become.
His voice was weak, and creaked every time he tried to speak. His throat burned, and he felt as if acid had been poured down in his mouth but he kept trying.
Wolfram wanted to speak, especially if it made the princess happy like that. He wasn't sure why, but when he is with the young girl he felt the urge to keep her happy and to protect her from everything. From all the horrors of the world – he supposed it might have been because of his womanly dynastic.
He was an Omega after all.
Greta hums, and leant forward – she pressed her hands against her lap, "Okay! Wolfe-chan! How about bumblebee!" she says gleefully.
Greta quietly noted how the Omega seemed to pay extra attention to the fuzzy insects buzzing in the air.
Wolfram nodded his head and bites harshly at his bottom lip, "B-B-Bu-mb…" he began and frowned.
Wolfram's nose twitching a little. His voice was soft and barely heard, but Greta liked to think she had trained herself to hear his voice better than anyone.
Sometimes, and secretly, Greta liked to believe she knew Wolfram better than Lady Cecilie.
It was a little selfish, she had to admit, but she loved being with him. Wolfram treated her like a person, and not just a silly little Princess.
"It's okay," Greta said softly, "Try again,"
Nodding his head, Wolfram relaxed himself and looked over at the certain insect. He quietly watched the bee fluttering through the air without a care in the world.
"B-Bumb-umble-ble-bee," he forced out, and blinked a little especially when Greta grins widely.
"Okay! Okay! Let's try something else!" Greta said loudly, and presses her fingers to her chin in thought. Her large amber eyes becoming half-lidded and she looked off to the side in thought.
Large amber eyes flashes, and sparkles beautifully. A familiar grin appeared across her face, and it was odd how much the young girl could look and act like a certain Alpha King when they weren't biology related.
'She…Greta has his smile…' Wolfram thought to himself.
His chest tightened as he remembered he hadn't seen the boy hardly ever anymore. Not since Conrad had walked in on them, well, kissing.
Wolfram felt a shiver run down his spine as he remembered that kiss – his lips burned with warmth as if to remind him of what it felt like to feel those lips against his.
Wolfram's cheeks dark a little as he thought of the double black King, and his heart skipped a beat in his chest.
He was truly his Alpha after all. Wolfram felt embarrassed, and nervous about the fact. His King, the Alpha King of Shina Mazoku and the greatest King they've ever had – that man, that Alpha was his destine Mate. His Mate.
'My Alpha…' Wolfram added mutely to himself, and shivered once more at the thought. His heart skipping in his chest once again.
However, Wolfram couldn't help but feel that powerful sadness overwhelms him. He didn't understand his apparent older brothers or why they were doing this.
Not allowing him or the Alpha to spend time together, keeping them apart – maybe Wolfram eventually come to understand in time but for now, he didn't and he wasn't sure what to say or feel about it.
Wolfram wants to see him of course. He wanted to see the alpha more than anything.
"Yuuri!"
Greta suddenly blurred out, and Wolfram jumped on the spot in surprise. His emerald eyes widen, and he looked around himself.
He felt hope fill him for a second before, he immediately felt that sadness return when he noticed Yuuri wasn't anywhere in sight.
"Yes! Daddy! Try to say his name! Yuuri!" Greta grins even wider than before.
She was more than pleased with herself before the smile her face dropped and she clocked her head to the side when she noticed the distressed expression across Wolfram's face.
"No?" she breathed out softly.
Wolfram straightened his back, and forces a small smile, "Y-Yu-uuri," he mumbled softly, and shivered once again at the name. Automatically his cheeks darkened and stayed a soft rosy colour.
"Yu-uuri,"
Greta smiles brightly up at him and slowly mouthed along with Wolfram. Her cheeks flushed a little from the sun light, and she pushes the chocolate brown curls off her slightly sweaty forehead.
Wolfram to himself, and licks at his bottom lip. His shoulders hunched a little, and he inhaled softly. He disliked how he spoke his Alphas name, and felt like he could say his name better.
"Y-Yu-Yuu-Yuuri," he said, and after a few seconds – he smiled.
"Yuuri," Wolfram spoke once again.
Wolfram's lips pulled into a shy smile. Even though his voice was raw, and cracked like always but he was pleased that he could say Yuuri's name fully.
Wolfram blushed to himself as he rolled the name off his tongue. Yuuri. The King. His mate – his Alpha. He is probably locked away in his office doing paper work.
Wolfram hadn't really done much paper work since he came back however, he had done some work with Gwendal but only for a little while as the Omega was rather sore at the man.
"Wolfe!"
The young Omega let out a breathless yelp, when slim arms looped around his shoulders and he was hugged tightly. His small body crushed against a much bigger body, and he felt like he was being suffocating into soft flesh.
"Wolfe! Did you miss Mama?" Lady Cecilie smiled brightly.
Wolfram panted as he finally freed himself from the woman's claws. Said woman smiles sweetly at him, and her large green eyes flickering from the light.
The beautiful woman squishes Wolfram's cheeks, and pinches them.
She smiled even wider at how healthy he looked and that his cheeks were a lovely shade of red. It was so different to when she finally got her baby back and how hurt he was.
Cherry lips pulling into a pout, Wolfram moved his head away from the Ex Queen and rubbed his now aching cheeks.
Gently rubbing the sore skin and glared up his woman however, it was more like puppy eyes rather than an actual glare.
"Aww Wolfe! You're just the most adorable thing~" Lady Cecilie giggled loudly.
Wolfram winced from how loud her voice was. It was shrilly, and hurt Wolfram's sensitive ears. The Omega let out a soft sigh as the woman removed her claws from his body and Wolfram crawled backward from her while gently stroking his ears. His ears ached just a little.
"Daddy!"
Greta's voice suddenly squealed out, and Wolfram flung his head around to look at the young Princess. His eyes widen as the blur of the Princess leaped to her feet and ran towards another being standing awkwardly behind Lady Cecilie.
Greta's small body flung at the other, and her arms immediately wrapped tightly around the Alpha King.
"I missed you too, Greta," Yuuri smiled and kindly strokes her chocolate brown curls.
"Um. Gwendal cancelled the rest of day because of…some personal problems," he spoke and glanced off to the side. He blinks slowly, and clicks his tongue as he mentally noted to find out just what had been going on in his Kingdom.
The Alpha King sheepishly shifts on his feet, and sends that goofy boyish like grin down at the girl as she pulled away with bright amber eyes.
Greta bounced on her feet, and clapped her hands together childishly, "Daddy! Does that mean you're going to spend the rest of the day with us?" she squealed out excitedly.
Yuuri licks his lips. He felt nervous and awkward, but the hope in his daughter's orbs made his stomach twist somewhat painfully.
Slowly, his eyes began to rise to look behind Greta. His large, round dark orbs turning to gaze above Greta's head and his lips twitched into a smile upon locking black with green.
"Yeah…" Yuuri breathes out, and tilts his head to the side, "I mean…if, er-m, Gwendal doesn't find out…I'm sure everything will be fine,"
Greta's eyebrows pulled together briefly, before she grins widely, "Yay!" she grabbed ahold of Yuuri's hand and pulled him towards the blanket laid out across the ground.
Wolfram felt his head skip a beat in his chest, and his hands trembled a little so he tightly pressed his fingers together in behind him. He shifts a little, and sat on his hands.
Wolfram hunched his shoulders, and brought his knees close to himself. Nervously looking down at his lap with flush cheeks.
"Daddy! Wolfe-chan can say your name now!" Greta says as she blobs back down onto the blanket. Sitting between Wolfram and Yuuri.
Wolfram's face darkens as Yuuri turns his large round eyes to him.
"Aww Wolfe!" Lady Cecilie squealed, and swiftly tugged cutely on his cheek causing the Omega to frown. He let out a breathless whine.
Wolfram shyly looked up at the Alpha King sitting across from him, peering up at the raven-haired male through his eyelashes and nipped at his bottom lip anxiously. His hands twitched in his lap, and sighs soundlessly under his breathe.
"Wolfe-chan! Show Daddy and Lady Cecilie what we leant together!" Greta squealed out excitedly, and wiggled closer to the blonde.
Yuuri tilted his head to the side. His dark orbs gazed at the Omega, and felt warmth swirl in his chest, especially upon seeing that Wolfram had become a little bigger than Greta.
It's been so long, Yuuri noted to himself, since he had last seen the Omega. Oh, how he missed Wolfram.
"Wolfe~ Sweetie," Lady Cecilie gasped excitedly. She clapped her hands together, and pulled them to rest between her incredibly large bust. Her breast looking as if they're about to bust out of her black dress.
It was still unbelievable she was his mother, but Wolfram couldn't denial the fondness appears in his chest. He did like his mother, and might even come to love her like one. She was special to him.
Wolfram's face turned redder, and he bowed his head. He felt embarrassment fill his veins. Wolfram's fingers trembled and pressed together.
"…. Y-" Wolfram began, only to feel a cold chill run down his spin.
"Mother," a voice growled out, and the beautiful Queen sighed dramatically.
Gwendal stepped into the archway with his arms crossed over his broad chest. His grey stormy eyes glared out into the garden, and his lips settled into a deep frown.
His grey hair was pulled off his forehead, and revealed wrinkles – more wrinkles appearing across the skin.
"Mother. I thought I explained to you more than enough times about this," Gwendal said with a deep voice.
Wolfram blinked innocently up at the man, and pouted. While Gwendal seemed to be at the castle every day, he doesn't exactly spend much time with the Omega. The most time Gwendal spent with his baby brother was either signing paper like before, all those months ago, or lecturing poor Wolfram on the history of their home.
Apparently, it was important for Wolfram to know why, how, and where the castle came from, and his family.
Granted, Wolfram was interested in learning about himself, and the rest of his family. Especially the first great King Shinou. Wolfram was amazed to learn that he was related to the first King.
The Omega always felt better when Gunther was with the two of them during these small lessons.
'Gwendal shows his love in a different way, is all' Conrad had explained to him one time when Wolfram could bring it up.
Conrad, Wolfram frowned as he thought of the brunette. He hadn't seen the man in quite some time. Conrad took care of Wolfram whenever he was in the castle.
They spent a lot of time together, and Wolfram would say he was most comfortable with Conrad then the others (other the Yuuri he supposed)
Conrad was special to him. His big brother, Wolfram would smile when he thought about that. He did see Conrad as a brother now, after being with him for all those weeks. Conrad was a lot like Greta, Wolfram had decided long ago.
He liked both of them, and they were on the same level to him. Both was kind and Wolfram liked spending time with them. He might even say he loved them, one day.
Conrad would play with him, teach him how to play baseball (alone since he wasn't allowed to spend time with Yuuri) one time Conrad had even played 'Solider' however, only once.
Wolfram had a wooden blunt sword, and Wolfram had struggled to move it but he enjoyed learning how to use it. Even if he wasn't good at it.
Wolfram wondered briefly where Conrad was. He had been gone for a long time now.
"Oh Gwendie~ you can't keep young love apart!" Lady Cecilie said, and flipped a golden curl off her shoulder.
Wolfram blushed so deeply that his ears became bright red. His emerald dropped to look at his lap, and his shoulders hunched up. Young love. How embarrassing.
Gwendal groaned loudly, and rubbed the bridge of nose, "Mother, how can you call this love?" he groaned out.
"Gwendal!" Lady Cecilie gasped sharply.
She held her hands up, and narrowed her lush green eyes at him, "How can you be so cruel! Of course, this is love! What else would it be? It's love! They have feelings for one another!"
The man snorted, and stuck his nose up, "How can they have feelings for eachother when they've only known eachother not but a year yet! It is not feelings. It is not love. It is lust, what else could it be? Mother!"
"We have feelings that are not visible, we do things to prevent ourselves from being miserable. Being honest is what makes us believable, for our feelings may not always be reachable. Recognize those words?" Lady Cecilie hissed, her hands clenched and shaking at her hips.
"Do. . . !" Gwendal erupted out with anger.
The castle walls shook, and the ground grumbled underneath their feet.
Gwendal's temper was like lightening itself, once the sparks started to sizzle there was very little time to duck and cover.
The beautiful Ex-Queen knew she should just stay quiet and wait for the storm to abate, but she couldn't help sparring with him.
"Why not! Remember what you told me after only knowing him for what? A month? No, a week wasn't it!" She shrieked out. Her voice shrilly and loud, bouncing through the air. Nobody had ever heard the Queen's voice so loud before.
Gwendal growled. Hissing almost like a snake, "That was different – Mother! You know that! You know what I went through, what he went through. Don't you dare justify pushing Wolfram, our baby brother who had been missing for years! Onto Heika! For Shinou sake mother! Wolfram had been beaten, thrown around and for all we know raped!"
"He knows no love!"
A loud ear piecing shatter erupted through the air. The sound of skin on skin. A harsh slap that ran through the air.
Lady Cecilie glared with tear disappointed eyes, with her hand hanging in the air after slapping Gwendal hard. Gwendal's head was thrown to the side from the smack, and his cheek was becoming red.
"How dare you Gwendal von Voltaire! How dare you speak words such as that?" Lady Cecilie said firmly, and lowered her hand to pull his head back to face her.
"Lust can be fun and exciting, but where does it lead? What is its purpose? Everyone I know who prefers lust to love was damaged by someone. They won't trust anymore and without trust you can't have love, it just isn't possible," Gwendal muttered in a low voice, his head lowering and he sighed deeply, "You can't love somebody with so little time. It is impossible, I should know,"
Lady Cecilie sighed, and stepped away. She tapped the tears away from her face.
"…you can hit the grounds and have more "partners" than a sailor on shore leave, and you'll still be lonely inside. Nothing can touch that but a true lover – trustworthy and kind. How are you supposed to find love? I understand…I'm not the right person to be an example. God knows how long I've been looking for my love, but I already know I've lost mine. Gwendie, I know you believe you have lost your chance but I disagree with you. So, don't give up on love, the real deal, not the false version. Your love is your best friend, your confidant, your eternal refuge. For if we have a moral compass (and I believe we do) then what else could be true north but true love? I'm no prude, it's just that you're too precious to waste yourself in these shallow ways – dead ends when what you need is a haven for your soul," she said.
"Don't project what happened onto Wolfe. It isn't the same, Gwendal,"
Wolfram blinked slowly. His chest felt heavy, and his head became slightly dizzy. It's like a void. A dark void. A never ending dark void that consumes everything, so ones left feeling nothing.
Empty.
Nothing to subside your hollow soul that creeps in the shadows, away from any other human life because its emptiness is so consuming it cannot bare to pretend that everything is okay. He could feel the sadness, and grief pouring from his eldest brother.
Wolfram got to his feet, and rushed forward. He closed the small gap between him, his mother, and his brother. He stumbled over his feet a little before tugging on Gwendal's sleeve a little.
His small button up nose twitched, and his large green eyes flickered from the sunlight above them.
"G-Gwe-Gwend-Gwedie,"
"G-Gwen-die?"
Gwendal's eyes widen in surprise. He hadn't heard Wolfram speak. Nobody had only the Princess and maybe their mother. Immediately his eyes soften, and he sighed. He couldn't look Wolfram's eyes without feeling the guilt growing in the pit of his stomach.
Gwendal closing his eyes for a few seconds, before sliding open and showed the kind of gentle concern and Grandfather might have had.
He laid his hand lightly on Wolfram's shoulder, and instead of flinching like the Omega usually did, Wolfram was soothed by it.
Gwendal left his hand there and spoke with such a soft voice felt his words calming Wolfram more by the way they were said than the actual words. It felt as if he were wrapped in a blanket of his caring.
"Wolfram…" Gwendal said softly, and sighed once again.
Gwendal lifted his gaze to look over at the King. Yuuri stared back at him with black swirling orbs – Gwendal almost flinched himself.
That was the breaking point of Yuuri's patience. He was blinded by a serving of rage that tasted bitter, yet surprisingly satisfying.
Gwendal could see Yuuri's hand twitching like he had the urge to punch the man, but knew he couldn't as he had his arms wrapped around Greta.
The small Princess was cuddled up in the King's embraced. Her head pressed against his chest, with her amber eyes so wide that they had become red. Tears streamed down her cheeks, and she stared blankly at Gwendal.
"I think that is enough," Yuuri finally spoke. His voice was deep and almost dark. He eased himself up along with Greta – still holding her close.
Yuuri sighed deeply, and his eyes closed as if he was trying to swallow down his anger. Light flickers of blue lights appeared around him before finally fading away, "You've upset my daughter. You've upset your own mother, and not just that, you've degraded myself and Wolfram,"
"Heika," Gwendal growled. He felt his own temper flare up once more.
"Sorry…um, what's going on? Why is everyone so upset?" a sudden calm, but soft voice asked.
Wolfram's eyes widen, and his lips pulled into a smile. He turned around and felt happiness spring to life in his chest.
Conrad walked into the garden. His dark brown eyebrows pulled together in concern. He tilts his head to the side.
"Is everything alright?" he asked, curiously.
Conrad glanced to the side as Gwendal stormed past him. The taller man glared down at the ground as he walked. The ground shook a little, and Conrad sighed deeply.
Wolfram smiles. He was happy to see the tall chocolate haired male, and moved towards him. He looped his arms around Conrad's waist, hugging him tightly. He felt relieved to see the man, and tightened his fingers on the brown cloth.
"Ah. Good to see you too Wolfram," Conrad smiled widely and kindly.
He pats the Omega on the head, and returns the hug – hugging in return just as tightly.
The small Omega, still smiling, pulls away. He really did miss Conrad. Everyone had been so tensed, and Wolfram had found it difficult to relax around them.
Right now, after hearing Gwendal's words, Wolfram was unsure of how to feel or what to do either.
"Heika," Conrad greeted.
His warm eyes flickered a little in confusion and worry upon seeing how distressed Greta was. Not just that, he could taste the tension in the air and wondered what had just happen.
Conrad looked at the young King, and frowned. Yuuri looked rather upset too, and it took a lot to bring the happy Alpha down. Whatever happened, it was to do with the young Alpha King and the Omega.
Truth be told, Conrad wasn't completely against the idea of his godson and his baby brother. It was Yuuri after all, and that meant a lot.
However, Conrad had to take that part away and his true feelings really did come from an Alpha wanting to mate with his baby Omega brother.
Conrad knew Yuuri wouldn't hurt Wolfram, he knew Yuuri was probably the best kind of Alpha for Wolfram out of all the people out there.
The problem…for him, is that Wolfram is his baby brother. Wolfram had been hurt, pushed around, and degraded most his life.
Conrad just got him back.
Conrad and Wolfram had already developed a rather good, and slowly becoming stronger bond. Conrad found it difficult to see the small golden haired Omega as anything but a baby lamb that needs to be protected.
Conrad had failed once. He didn't want to fail again.
However, Conrad wasn't nowhere near stupid. He understood bonds, and the kind Yuuri and Wolfram was developing.
Now that he had seen what he had seen all those months ago, the behaviour of the King and Omega made sense. They had that band. They had that red tie and it was becoming stronger.
The same tie Yozak and he had.
"Conrad! Call me Yuuri, you're the one who named me after all," Yuuri said after a few seconds of silence.
He seemed to have calm himself, and was gently patting Greta on the head. Said Princess was becoming relaxed too – the energy from her Daddy had begun to calm her. She no longer was crying.
Conrad chuckled, and bowed his head, "Of course Yuuri,"
Wolfram blinks his eyes a little. He tilts his head as he glanced between everyone, before he his eyes settles on the King. Yuuri was smiling, kind off.
Wolfram didn't like the smile, it looked wrong or fake. Yuuri obviously was still upset, but was trying to become positive for Greta.
Wolfram felt his stomach tighten, and a horrible sensation to run over it. He felt horrible for the Princess, and he wanted to hug her too but held back in his own fear.
'So much pain came from Yuuri and me just seeing eachother…' Wolfram thought and bites at his bottom lip.
Why doesn't anybody want them together?
Why is everyone so against it?
Wolfram thought people would have been happy or even pleased, but no. Everyone was so upset and sad over it.
"Wolfram," Conrad began gently.
The blonde-haired Omega lifted his head to stare up at the brunette. His lips trembled a little, and tried to keep himself calm.
Conrad smiled warmly, and gently pats the blonde of the head, "I'm sure everything will be sorted out soon. Don't let what Gwendal said get to you. He is just upset is all…" the brunette explained kindly.
The beautiful ex-queen sighed softly. Her green eyes lowered in sadness. Her lips twisted into a small smile, and she turned to look at the young Princess.
Greta stood awkwardly, and nibbled at her bottom lip. She looked around wearily, and her fingers slowly pushed together.
"Um…" she began. Her voice trailing off.
"Princess. Come with me, let's go see the new dresses I've designed," Lady Cecilie said. She smiled very motherly down at the Princess.
Greta felt her lips break into a wide smile, and nodded her head furiously. She grabbed onto Lady Cecilie's hand.
"Want to come with us Wolfe-chan?" she squealed out in excitement and turned her large amber eyes onto the blonde.
Wolfram blinked once and then twice. Honestly, he wasn't interested that much in clothes. Having grown up wearing nothing but rags, and the same kind of clothes over and over. Frankly, Wolfram didn't see the point of new clothes.
In the end, Wolfram couldn't deny the desperate look in Greta's eyes. He nodded, and allowed himself being guided into the castle by the two females.
Eventually sun touched the land, bathing the stone in brief stokes of orange and golden before the moon slowly rose into the sky.
The night sky was rather gloomy looking. With clouds, and old winds. It looked like it was going to rain rather soon. Nothing unusual considering who their great King is.
It's been hours since Wolfram had to sit awkwardly in a wooden chair with his mother, listening to her talk about all the different kinds of dresses she had prepared for Greta. There was way too many for him to keep count, and eventually they all became a blur of colours.
They just had dinner a little while ago. A dinner that Wolfram had awkwardly sat. The tension between the King and his eldest brother was thick. He was worried at one point that Yuuri and Gwendal would start another scary argument.
At least Wolfram had upgraded from baked potato for dinner to the same dinner as everyone else, only a rather smaller portion. It took him much longer than everyone else to finish his plate. He was also embarrassed and would blush brightly when he realized everyone would wait for him to finish his own food before they would excuse themselves.
The bed was still squishy. Wolfram disliked the bed incredibly or just in general. Wolfram still preferred slightly harder surface.
However, he could relax, after a few hours that is.
Blushing brightly, and tugging on the blankets until it was over his face. Wolfram couldn't help but feel shy, and timid. The best sleep he had ever had in a bed was that one time on the way back from the Land of Snow.
'I…I slept in Y-Yuuri's arms….' Wolfram thought. He curled up tightly, until his legs was pressed against his chest.
Wolfram slowly sat up. His face was still hot. Becoming hotter with every moment. He remembered how warm Yuuri was. He also remembered who comfortable and nice Yuuri was. It was so embarrassed. Rubbing his hands gently down his face, and rubbing his eyes like a cat.
The small blonde haired Omega glanced out in his window, before climbing to his feet. He breathed in deeply, and glanced around the darkness of his bedroom.
Slowly, he walked across the room to the door. He carefully pushed it open and peeked out. The familiar sets of guards stood near the end of the hallway.
Glancing shyly back over his shoulder, he looked to the small machine and smiled as the numbers turned 35, quickly swinging his head back around and hummed softly under his breath as the guards began to walk away, preparing to change shifts with another set of guards.
Gulping, Wolfram took the familiar pathway down the steps towards the yard of the castle. Wolfram almost tripped over his feet as he came across the fountain. His smile grew just a tiny bit bigger while running his hand smoothly across the stones and half-running towards the familiar stable. His face flushed redder as he pushed the wooden doors, hearing the familiar snorting and wheezing from the many beautiful horses.
Wolfram's chest filled with warmth, and skipped a beat. He really loved the horses. He would come to the stable almost every night, to sleep with horses.
Wolfram might be becoming much more comfortable with his family, but he felt even safer with the horses. All gorgeous and pretty. From white to brown, amber and golden. All so gorgeous.
That and the fact a certain Alpha would come and meet him. Enjoy the few hours they had together.
A loud horse squeal filled the air, and Wolfram smiled. At the end of stable was the familiar silk black horse, calling for his attention.
The horse, Aoi, had become comfortable with Wolfram for two main big reasons. One: The sweet Omega was kind and gentle. He was mean or cruel to said horse. Aoi liked him. Two: if Wolfram snuck in to him and his mate – then his beloved owner would not be fair behind.
If they get Wolfram, then they will get Yuuri too. Both horses realized.
Wolfram smiled brightly up at Aoi. He ran his hand down the soft midnight fur, and gently kissed him on the forehead.
The other horse nuzzled under the beautiful black horse was the purest of horses Wolfram had ever seen, pure white with a single golden patch around its left eye and slightly smaller than the black horse. The white horse was a stallion too, a male horse couple.
The white horse snorted, and pushed its snout against Wolfram's cheek. Wolfram smiled, and turned towards him. Gently kissing that horse on the soft furred cheek too.
Wolfram entered the pen, and giggled sweetly when both horses skittered around. They seemed to wait for Wolfram to sit before settling themselves down.
Both horses had become incredibly comfortable with the Omega.
Wolfram looked down, and watched as two butterflies danced around his feet. He stared at them in silence. Watching them and wondering just when they entered the stable.
'…Am…Am I wrong for loving Yuuri?' Wolfram thought after a few seconds in silence.
'Is it because…I'm an Omega?' Wolfram thought sadly.
Yes, that must be it. The King should be mated to a beautiful Beta, not an Omega.
Wolfram found his chest tightened. His stomach burned with something like bubbles, or butterflies, or bees. Wolfram wasn't sure, but either way his stomach hurt. His large emerald eyes itched with hot tears.
A beautiful Beta. A woman with long silky curls of gold. Milky white skin, flawless with no freckles or spots. Not even the tiny small hairs that littered arms and legs. Fully lips, with high cheeks bones. Large round orbs of pure ocean.
They would shimmer and sparkle in the sun light. Long eyelashes would frame the beautiful eyes.
She would be beautiful. Gorgeous, with long legs and a small waist. She would have a wonderful smile. A smile that would melt everyone, and anyone who looked at her. Her eyes would make people weak at their knees.
The woman would have a sweet voice. A voice that was made from sugar and caramel. It would wrap around anybody. The tone of voice licks at the air, and dances across the skin.
The kind of woman that anyone would want.
Wolfram is sure she would be the kind woman that Yuuri should be with. Should love, and adore. The woman that would make him happy. The kind of woman that would just be perfect in everything and at anything.
The kind of woman that is completely perfect.
No scared. No bruises. No nightmares. There would be no fear, or pain. She wouldn't be a burden on anyone. She wouldn't course any problems, and would be easy to get along with.
She would be able to speak.
Her voice would be heavenly.
The perfect Queen.
The perfect mate for Yuuri.
Wolfram bites at his bottom lip. This kind of woman would have to be the one for Yuuri, there was no way around it. Yuuri will eventually see that, and he will eventually leave Wolfram to be with this woman.
She could be a Princess. Or a lord's daughter.
She was noble.
She was better than himself – in every way possible.
Wolfram felt his hands tremble. His eyes burned. He wanted to cry so much right now. He loved the King, but he knew wasn't right for Yuuri.
He was a filthy Omega, and nobody was going to accept his feelings for Yuuri.
Everyone in the Kingdom, and further on would be against it. Wolfram is sure of it.
Wolfram curled up even tighter. His arms wrapping tightly around his knees, and pulling them tightly against his chest. He sniffled, and bites at his bottom lip. A soft soundless hiccup escaped his lips.
"Wolfram?"
Said Omega blinked through his hot tears, and felt hands cup his cheeks. His head face was angled upward, and he found himself looking up in to dark swirling eyes.
Yuuri blinked worriedly, "I'm so sorry Wolf! I didn't mean to scare you," Yuuri said and gently stroked the soft skin of Wolfram's cheeks.
The dark-haired King, frowned softly and he tilted his head to the side. He didn't look how sad Wolfram looked, or those tears. He tried to whip them away with the back of his hands, but they kept coming.
Maybe he did lose his temper to fast? He didn't mean.
Yuuri's chest burned with the realization he must have scared his Omega. Or Gwendal did. With his cruel words. As if Yuuri was going to let anything like that happen to his Omega.
'God. What if it had happened?' Yuuri thought, and bite at his bottom lip.
Yuuri felt a spark of anger rush through him at the possibility of Wolfram going through such pain, and hurt. However, the expression on the Omega's face immediately faded away.
Wolfram sniffed, and shivered a little. He stared up at the double black King quietly. He felt so happy to see him, and his heart skip a beat with such love. When did he fall so much in love with him? Wolfram wasn't sure, but he couldn't stop the tears from running even more down his cheeks.
Yuuri smiles warmly down at Wolfram. He missed Wolfram so much and it felt so good to be with him like this. Granted, he did see Wolfram this close a few days ago, in this same spot. There secret hide out, he supposed. It almost made him laugh.
What Gwendal didn't know, wouldn't hurt him. Yuuri had decided a while ago.
"…" Wolfram opened his mouth slowly.
"….Y-Y-Yu-Yuuu-Yuuuri….Yuuri…"
His throat burned and itched.
Yuuri's eyes widens, and his lips broke into a dazzling smile, "Oh Wolfram!" Yuuri gasped out.
Wolfram's voice was just as sweet and cute as ever. It was just as he had heard it in his head. As cute as ever, and it made Yuuri smile. His cheeks becoming pink.
Immediately, Yuuri leant forward. He pressed his forehead against Wolfram's, and pressed his lips to Wolfram's.
Wolfram jumped, but felt his reddish eyes slide close. He tried to kiss back, moving his lips back against Yuuri's the best he could. It was rather difficult for him to keep up, but Yuuri slowed down as not to rush it. He didn't want to scare the Omega away.
'It feels good…t-to be w-with him like t-this…' Wolfram thought.
Wolfram shakily raised his hands up, and gently took Yuuri's face in his hands. His hand trembled a little as he pressed his fingers against the soft skin.
"I love you Wolf," Yuuri whispered sweetly against Wolfram's lips.
Wolfram made a soft, but soundless hiccup. He eventually pulled away. Unable to breathe well. His face was flushed so red, that Yuuri was sure he could see a little bit of steam coming from his head.
Yuuri grinned boyishly at him. Enjoying how shy, and timid Wolfram was. He leant forward, and kissed Wolfram on the lips again.
Moaning sweetly against Wolfram's lips, Yuuri slowly pulled away and smiles warmly. He crushes Wolfram's eyes, pleased to see Wolfram was no longer crying. Not a single tear was in sight. Yuuri smiled, and pecked Wolfram on the cheeks.
"I love you so much, Wolf. You're just so perfect," Yuuri sighed pleasantly.
Wolfram blinked slowly.
'…But I'm not! I'm not p-perfect. I'm the one you should be with. You should with the perfect woman, the woman with golden curls and blue eyes! The perfect Queen! Yuuri!' Wolfram thought in worry. Desperation filled his chest, and his body quivered. Trembling uncontrollably.
Hands oved up to Yuuri's shoulder. He spread his fingers wide, and pressed the palm of his hands against the navy cotton blue pyjamas Yuuri wore.
'Why can't you understand that Yuuri?'
Wolfram shoved as hard as he could against the King. He panted deeply, his lips slightly red and his eyes slowly tearing up again.
Yuuri yelped, stumbling away and landing on his backside painfully. He groaned, and rubbed his head, blinking his black eyes slowly. Owlishly, he lifted his head and looked at Wolfram. His large glassy orbs gazed at the Omega in confusion.
Had he been going too fast? He didn't mean to.
"W-Wolfram…" he began.
Wolfram shook his head furiously. He whimpered, and bites his bottom harshly. With his head ducked, he spun around and ran as fast he could. His hands covered his mouth as he ran.
"Wolfram, wait!"
"…Wolfram…?"
Yuuri panted a little. He stared sadly after the Omega.
Something had gone wrong, and it worried him.
"Oh Wolfram…what can I do to make it better for you?"
The start of the newest arc! Yay!
I wonder. Can anybody guess what this arc will be? I put one hint in this chapter, and it isn't the most obvious thing.
Hmm. If anybody can guess it, then maybeeee you win a special prize? Lol, first comes - first serves :)
