Bastiana was fuming as she stormed down the hallway towards the office of Charles Forstam. Her face was contorted in anger as she pushed his door open without knocking; she was ready to drag him by his damn suspenders if it was necessary. She'd been sure that after what she'd done to him last time, he wouldn't dare to repeat it, but obviously, she'd been wrong.
Charles didn't look up from the files she was working on as she slammed the door shut behind her and glared at him; if looks could kill, he would have fallen from his chair already.
"Bastiana," he greeted her calmly and raised his finger as she opened her mouth to start ranting, gesturing towards the coffee table by his leather couch in the corner.
"What is your problem, Forstman?" She snapped.
The man just cocked his brow. "So it's Forstman now?"
"You want me for a case," Bastiana said and plants her hands on man's desk." Why?"
"You are the best for that job," Charles says.
"I'II set your pretty face on fire."
"Try to scare me, sweetheart?"
"You really don't wanna get my nerves"
They're leaning over the desk, so close.
"Set me on fire" Charles teased.
"Why?"Bastiana asked, surprisingly not angry, not even bothered.
"It's against Harvey Specter"
Bastiana glared at him."I don't care even if Annalise Keating or Peter Stone is the other lawyer, I resuf..."
"I have the tape..."Charles said carefully to say the words without any inflection or emotion.
Because he's an idiot, Charles looks at Bastiana. He immediately wishes he hadn't. He's never stared betrayal and pure hurt straight in the face before and never so unexpectedly. While Charles knows Bastiana feels these things, he doesn't expect Bastiana to show them.
Bastiana looks at him shocked and little disgusted. " I can't believe I am friend with you"
Charles feels absolutely regret.
Bastiana Wolf and Charles Forstman have made the transition from enemies to friends, to an epic romance that could have been.
He thought back to all their interactions, many of which had been private. But as he systematically went through each one, he realized that he hadn't felt an ounce of attraction for her. He hadn't even considered her as attractive. Bastiana was definitely beautiful, but then why hadn't he noticed it? He was observant. He had noticed all her other attributes. He had conducted thorough research on her and everything related to her. But despite all the knowledge, he didn't feel anything for her.
He knew it had to do with her obsession with the past. Charles didn't care if she was broken. It was in the past. It was over. He didn't want to waste time on it. His focus was on the present and future. He hated anyone who continuously wanted to bring up the past, who wanted to live in the memory of the glory days that had passed because they had no success in the present or future.
But Bastiana wasn't like that. She had made the past her present and future. She had found success by digging up the past, literally. She was smart, confident, mature, and successful, qualities he appreciated in a woman. But he didn't like Bastiana in this away.
Her eyes shot towards her and he carefully studied her. She was definitely a catch, attractive on the outside and inside. She had an amazing personality. She was intelligent, strong, successful, and fun.
She was a woman who deserved to be loved but had to leave the past behind.
Bastiana turned to leave but stopped. " You could just ask for my help."
"But you are aa asshole , you choose the Forstman`s way."Bastiana hissed before walking out.
Unknowing to Bastiana Wolf, Dona Paulson knows everything about everyone, what they want and what they need as this is her job. She is secretary of one of the most popular lawyers in New York -after Jessica - Harvey Specter is a selfish man with a huge ego and problems with his feelings but in his work is good in contrast to his staff and the organization of his life.
The redhead woman it was like a spy who was looking at everything, on paper, on people and sometimes to jobs that should not be in them but curiosity was one of its flaws and her curiosity turned to Bastiana Wolf
She was pushed Mike to tell her something but for the first time the boy was not terrified of her and Donna realized that Mike could deal with everything to protect his family.
But she was jealous of them.
At first, was Logan. He was Mike`s boyfriend and can justify the fact that the puppy wanted to spend time with him but Dana fucking Scott. This woman shows up and Mike was stolen from them, Mike had spent less time with Harvey and Donna. He even missed their monthly drinking! .They were missing their puppy. And they resented Mike`s family for it
Mike is the little brother she never had and she couldn't handle losing him and unknown to Harvey, he had felt the same.
Jessica and Louis lost their minds hearing about Bastiana Wolf, a lawyer who shows up from nowhere kicking Voltero and Sion from their own firm.
She stopped thinking when the phone rang.
"Harvey Specter's office, how can I help you?"
She spent her time answering her boss's phone calls and playing Candy Crush Saga. Harvey was still in his office while Mike was out hung out with Dana and Logan. Donna wants to go with them but Dana and Donna's relationship was not in best term and she had never quite understood, what exactly it was that connected Harvey and Scott. Their relationship was a mystery difficult and hard. There were times when she thought, Dana was in love with Harvey, then there were moments, however rare, she thought Harvey might have a thing for Dana.
But they never had a good ending as Harvey was stubborn and Scottie never backs off from a fight.
Donna sighed and pull herself away from the desk when she heard it.
Click. Click. Click.
The first thing that reaches Donna's attention is the clicking of someone's shoes, click, click, click on the stone floor, thunderingly loud in the deep silence, in hee pained ears.
Click, click, click.
Not that it changes anything; if it there was the slightest chance it that would, she wouldn't be alone.
Click, click. She stops.
Donna can feel someone looking at her.
Bastiana stared back at her inscrutably, noting her fragility and her fear. The moment wore on. The two of them clearly had nothing to say to one another. Finally, Bastiana gave her a polite bow of the head, and she lowered her eyes and turned away while Bastiana storms in Harveys`s office.
"You can't go in there without permission."
Donna yelled and raced after her.
"Do I look like a person who needs permission?"Bastiana said and walked into the office.
"Lecter"
Harvey laned back in his chair, feet propped up on the corner of his`s desk, looked at her over the open file he was reading."Specter."
"I don't give a shit if even your name is Darth Vader."She said.
"Why are you here?"
Bastiana took a file from her bag and gave it to him." To give you this"
"Bullshit" Harvey said with a pointed glare."You can't do this. If you do this, a lot of people will lose their jobs."
" Ever since you started to care, I thought that Harvey Specter was an asshole and selfish man."
"They have families," Harvey said in a loud voice.
"Are you the real Harvey Specter or are you dear brother of mine in disguise?" Bastiana said skeptically.
"I am right here."Harvey spat angrily. "
I thought...
"What?"Bastiana teased. "I am not like my brother. "
"Why?"Harvey asked testily.
"Charles Forstman is a friend."
He laughed openly at her response.
"Forstman doesn't have friends"
"He is." She said. "It's not my problem that you are not able to make friends." She added before he could speak.
"Charles Forstman is a asshole and likes play with people."
"Just like you."She challenged. He smirked in a predatory manner.
"I am more handsome."
"This is not going to stop me from accusing your client`s firm that the new algorithms are stolen."
"How do you do that?"He said, grinding his teeth.
"Using his wife."She said with a smirk."We found out that his wife had been cheated on him and she prefers to lose two or five million instead her husband finds out that she is a slut"
"You are a bitch" He replied without emotion.
" That's exactly what I thought of myself when I came up with the idea, "She said smugly. He shrugged his shoulders carelessly.
Pain shot through his palms and he noticed that he had clenched his fist so tight his nails were digging into his skin. He took a deep breath to relax.
"What about dinner?" Harvey gave her a charming smile.
Bastiana wants to laugh. She would never fall for him. He was vain, arrogant, selfish, and a notorious playboy. He stood as much a chance as a snowball's in hell.
"Tell me a reason to agree to this?"She maintained, sliding closer to him.
"That's because you haven't had sex with me, yet, "He said smugly, enjoying the tightening of her jaw. He studied her face closely as she played the game, trying not to smile at the child-like concentration she was displaying. For some reason, he was reminded of Mike whose eyes would be wide, his mouth open, tongue sticking out on the side when he was focused on a case. Thankfully, Bastiana only frowned and bit her lip.
"If you were so good in bed, Dana would have stayed with you."She said through clenched teeth as Bastiana's phone starts to ring she gets up and answers it.
"Hello, yes, it is," Bastiana confirms,
"When?" she asks and hearing her tone of voice Harvey turns to look at her.
"I see. Yes, I will." Bastiana confirms,
"Thank you." She says before hanging up,
"I am leaving," she says, Harvey.
No, his ego screamed. This wouldn't end this way.
"Harvey," Said a voice and they turned their head to see Donna at the door
Unknown to them, Donna' s been watching this for ten minutes. Just standing in the corner, quiet as a mouse because she's afraid of being scolded if he moves. She tries to not even blink.
Donna watches in fascination as they just stare at one another, a silent battle of wills. Bastiana crosses her arms over her chest. Harvey straightens his spine, tilts his chin up. Harvey's jaw clenches.
"Here's the number for my cell phone. When you want to talk, give me a call" She handed him a card with a phone number and the words "Bastiana Wolf" printed on it in elegant silver script.
Bastiana leaves the room and Donna shuts the door.
"Donna"
"I want... "
"Find everything about her and the workers who were fired in the last seven years," Donna replied sweetly.
"Also I want..."
"Mike Ross," she said happily and then paused. "Jessica pulls him out if the case."
Bewildered Harvey stared at her."What!?"
"Mike asked Jessica for this," Donna answered.
"Of course" mumbled Harvey.
Harvey was angry. No, he was beyond angry. He was livid. He had been annoyed with her for winning the case and beat him. This is not going to happen again, in particular into a courtroom full of people who will laugh at him and mock him if loose.
Damn her. Damn her to hell.
If she thought she would get away with it, then she was dead wrong. She may have gotten the wrong impression because of his civil behavior towards her but that ended now. She would be treated as she deserved. No more Mr. nice Specter. He would show her and the world what happened to those who messed with him. He would put her in her place and he would do it with everyone watching.
Bastiana walked away from the man's office with a smile on her face. She wanted to defeat the man and erase that smile from his face, Bastiana Wolf is a winner.
The other thing she wants to win is because he called a bitch. There were very few people who would dare to talk to Bastiana Wolf like this. And though he'd treat the insults with the expected huff or cold shoulder, Bastiana allowed it to happen more the once with only one person, and that was Neal.
Speaking of her brothers, she must find Spencer for a wedding suit. They had to do a lot of things for the wedding and Bastiana felt ashamed because of put work over her brother`s happiness, supposedly helping her brother with the suit, with the guests, for the God`s sake she had to promise book the New York's famous Plaza Hotel.
To say the truth, Bastiana wasn't in the mood helping Lola and Spencer but if she steps up, Spencer will be angry at her and tell that she loves Neal more than Dominic, Mike and him. Neal was her twin brother and through the wedding`s preparation, she deals with the fact that Neal had another woman in her life and didn't need her anymore.
Neal has Dana.
Spencer has Lola
Mike has Logan
Dominic has Michael
Bastiana has no one. She doesn't need a man in her life and was not able to love. Despite the many adjectives that people would cruelly mutter behind her back such as cold, heartless, and emotionless during those two weeks; they were really just antonyms.
Bastiana had a long history of what some would call "abandonment issues"- she personally just preferred to call it "people sucking"
Bastiana sighed and the elevator`s door opened seeing a pair of red high-heels. She finally lifts her head and meets Jessica Pearson's unflinching gaze for the first time with her own.
Lightning strikes. The ground trembles. Both of the two women were standing face to face, staring at each other with coldness in each of their eyes that no one knew was possible to know that it was their first meet.
"Miss. Wolf"Jessica greeted her amicably.
"Miss. Pearson"Bastiana greeted back emotionless.
To avoid awkward silence, Jessica quickly asked, "A case against Harvey?"
"He is such a handful"Bastiana grinned.
"You have no idea" is the only response she gets.
A small smirk spreads on Jessica's lips as she came up with a wonderful. She was curious about the woman standing next to her and wanted to know more about her and maybe earn a new friend. After Jeff left her Jessica to throw herself into work trying to forget about him but she couldn't go back to herself before Jeff, she falls in love and that changes her. Donna and her sister had tried to help her but she couldn't let them see her weak sides. She had a feeling she could not understand but knew Bastiana Wolf will be a good friend.
"What about a drink."
"And then she ordered the most expensive whiskey from the bar"
Olivia and Barba were in the office of the woman talking about her night with Bastiana Wolf. Olivia found the woman interested and good company, Carisi`s sister was smart, sassy and easy to talk with.
"It is soo good have someone to talk with"Liv muttered softly.
"And what am I? Chopped liver?" Barba asked, crossing his arms and trying to glare.
"Oi!" Benson nudged his arm, but she couldn't stop laughing long enough to look stern.
"You know what I meant"Arms crossed over her chest," Amanda is my friend but.."
"She can't understand," said Barba shortly. "Rollins is reckless and her actions are by her emotions not from her brain. She could not understand that you must go by the book and every action has a consequence."
Benson shrugged. "I know but.."
"How many times you refused to babysit know because of her gambling and alcohol problem."Barba finally snapped, his patience running out. " You trust Carisi more than Rollins and you know Rollins longer than him. She does things behind your back and defies your power, criticizes every one of your relationships but I will agree with her.."
Benson blew out a gusty breath, feeling her frustration rise at Barba`s words. "I know. Cassidy was an asshole and Tucker was a fucker..."
"Anyway," Barba retorted." I think Rollins is in love with you."
"Is this a joke?" said Benson tersely. "Because if it is, I'm not laughing."
"It's not," assured Barba, perfectly serious. "I have seen the way she looks at you."
Benson felt as though her throat had closed, making breathing difficult. "I may be bisexual but Rollins is not my type."
"Your type is a brown-haired woman with blue eyes and owner of a law firm"Barba joked.
"Is it not funny" Benson remarked, sitting up slightly so she could see Barba properly. "Bastiana Wolf is a great woman but is also Carisi`s sister."
Barba flips over another sheet, and, for a moment, the gentle rustling of paper is the only sound in the office. His jaw clenched, and Benson wonders if he's biting Carisi's name.
"Are you alright, Barba?" queried Olivia beside him.
When he opened his eyes, he was himself again. "Of course," he said shortly. "Why wouldn't I be?"
He wasn't alright, of course. He'd been through actual torture and he could safely say that the pain he was feeling right now was more real and distressing and immediate than any physical torment that had ever been inflicted upon his body. At least he'd known how to distance his mind from all of that, but he could not escape this.
Olivia stared at him for a moment more before looking away. She knew him too well to buy any of his lies. "You poor bloody sod," she murmured.
Barba was definitely not listening. Already, he was busy turning over various scenarios as he went back to what had just happened. He scoured his memories, inch by inch, for anything to use. Carisi, as expected, had not given away much, but there were the trembling, ice-cold hands, the averted gaze. Hands, he knew from experience, which were incredibly steady during the most critical moments of a mission and lush blue eyes which never veered away or backed down from any danger or threat. Or from him, for that matter. Until now.
He would concentrate on those details and not think about the rest.
Don't think about Sonny's kisses, sweet and soft and chaste, on another man's mouth. Don't think of him wearing another man's ring.
Olivia was still talking by the time he zoned back in. "…let this go, Rafael?" she was saying earnestly. "Carisi is now taken and his husband is lovely. You don't stand a chance in hell. Just accept the fact that you came in too late— it does happen, you know— and if you really care about him, then let's be happy for them, and then move on."
Barba smiled as he turned to her. "Don't worry about me," he said.
Neal was sitting in the office of Peter in White Collar building. He tried to find a way to destroy the Pink Panthers and took his life back.
He was aware Keller follows him around and could use this information against Neal or tell Woodford all about his life. He could easily escape the problem of Panthers using money and guns but he was not his sister.
Neal envied Bastiana's intelligence, her power and reputation, and the effect she had on a crowd. the people who know about them being twins noticed Bastiana Wolf, oftentimes at the expense of Neal Caffrey who was overlooked. The spotlight always shined on Bastiana Wolf whether she wanted it or not. Bastiana was aware of this and made every effort to stay out of Neal's ventures and support them in any way possible.
Bastiana felt envious of her brothers' charming personality. People knew Bastiana for her money and power but she realized that most people disliked her and feared her. Very few genuinely respected her and wanted to associate with her outside of the business. If she ever needed anything, she had to use manipulation or her power and money. Neal, Mike, Dominic, and Spencer, on the other hand, could charm her way into anything. They could convince someone to give up their most prized possession simply by smiling and weaving a web of words. Bastiana knew that they used their strengths to manipulate and force their way, just like she did, but they's way was nicer in appearance. Hence Mike, Spencer, Neal, and Dominic were the kind, lovable Ross who everyone wanted to talk to at parties and invite to luncheons and introduce to their families.
They also had freedom Bastiana couldn't even imagine. Every breath out of Bastiana's body was carefully used to further a law firm. Bastiana had to plan her every move, her every thought to ensure that it reflected the standard she represented. As such, she was constricted by other's expectations. She couldn't even drink anything other than black coffee at work.
Neal, Mike, Dominic, and Spencer didn't have to worry about that. They could do anything they wanted and no one said a thing. But Bastiana couldn't even wear a different brand of socks, afraid of what others might make of it if they were to find out. Her brothers were as free as Bastiana was trapped. They enjoyed life whereas Bastiana watched it from the sidelines, feeling jealous of them. They knew how Bastiana felt and often tried to engage Bastiana in fun activities, trying to get her to she'd the shackles he had placed on herself.
Despite feeling occasional jealousy for each other, the two were extremely close and loved each other, and neither had ever felt anger at the other. Neal could definitely speak for himself in that matter. He had never felt such jealousy for Bastiana before that it came out as anger. But right now, Neal was angry. He was angry at Bastiana. He was angry at his other-self. At his moon
Bastiana could easily kill Keller or Wouldford and leave as nothing happens. Of course, if you have peoples like Seto Kaiba or Owen Shaw having your back you will able to cross the line. Neal had lost the count of how many times Bastians crossed the line not following the law or threatening people, once his sister did a number on a man who threatened her using her brothers. She sent him to hospital with only Charles Forstamn to be aware of it.
Peter walks in his office and notices after a minute of him there, that Neal had been quiet for 30 minutes straight. The Agent knowing Neal has a lot in his mind with Keller, Pink Panthers, and his family but he was worried.
"Neal?"
"Huh?" Neal blinks a few times.
"You're wearing your bombshell face. Wanna tell me what that's about?"
He chuckles. "My what now?"
"You know, that face you make when you're thinking really deeply and carefully about some huge thing that you wanna say. What is it?"
Neal sighs. He's been circling around in his friend's office for half an hour, still nowhere near finishing his mission of clearing things up.
" Thinking about my sister, "Neal says calmly behind his white coffee cup. He watches carefully as Peter's expression changes from confusion to shock to blankness.
The young man avoids talking about his family in the office but every time he mentions it, something was wrong.
"Bastiana."
Neal's face remains blank, but Peter can tell when Neal is cross. This is bad.
" My sister would know how to handle the situation with." Neal sighs, putting his cup away and starting to arrange the folders on his desk.
" She is smart"
"Yes, she is" Neal can't help but smile a little, like a fool indeed.
"If you want her help. Just tell her the truth."
Neal froze, his eyes widening dramatically.
"I'm sorry." Peter compresses his lips apologetically. Neal was already say something when his cellphone started buzzing. With a frown, he reached into his jacket's pocket and pulled the nuisance out. As he read what the text said, his brows furrowed even further down.
Siblings-in-law night.
See you tomorrow
Love, D.C.C
"Oh my god!."
"What is going on?"Peter turned to look at Neal who was pulling a long-suffering expression.
"My wife is spending her night with my siblings-in-law"
"It is bad?" Peter asked with an uncharacteristic uncertainty." What are they doing?"
"Bitching about us"

Spencer was totally devastated.
For the first time since they started this, he isn't sure he'll find a way out.
Not on a touchy subject like that.
Lola had always been pretty adamant about the wedding ceremony of her dreams.
Something simple, intimate.
Small.
Just close friends.
They didn't need to tell the world.
Spencer had agreed on everything because he wanted to please Lola.
Besides, he didn't really care, keeping Lola happy was all that mattered.
They have a lot to do until the wedding day and they didn't want the help of Garcia.
Garcia showed her desire to help Lola and Reid with the wedding. The dinner was a mess for Lola and Reid as JJ couldn't stop flirting with Reid and Garcia`s comments for the wedding.
If they need help with the wedding they would ask the doctor's brother or Amy as the woman run also their lives beside Bastiana`s. Garcia is all pink and feathers, at least women in his life have a taste, an expensive one.
They have a lot to do until the wedding which is in 4 months. They need book caterer, photographer, band, DJ, and videographer, find a wedding song.
The young doctor sighed and looked around for his colleagues. He likes thne but would never see them as his family, Spencer has siblings, plenty of them.
Morgan and JJ were playing poker while Prentiss was talked with Garcia for a new pair of shoes that been brought by Garcia. Rossi was nowhere been found and the last one was his boss, Aaron Hotchner.
Reid panted, staring up at him with nothing but irritation in his eyes. The few times Lola mentioned Bastiana, Hotch watched her like a cat watches a bird. He literally took down every word his fiance said during the dinner about Bastiana.
In the office of Hotchner, two men were discussing the problem of Hotch. Rossi was sitting in a chair watching his best friend who stood in front of a mirror trying to find the right tie.
"Which one?" asks Hotch keeping two ties.
"The black one."Rossi answered to which Hotch nodded before Rossi suddenly frowned, "I have a date. After your divorce with that bitch, you finally have a date."
"It's not a date."Hotch answered."I want ti to change her mind or sue, Garcia."
"The kid?"Rossi asks.
"From what I understood, Reid has no desire to help."Hotch chastised, Rossi, joining in with an appalled look on his face.
"He is afraid of her. "Rossi was mumbling to herself.
""4:45… 45 minutes till 5:30; "Hotch grumbled looking his watch.
Rossi nodded slightly but said, "Yes, sure. It is not a date!."
Dave chuckled, which made Hotch narrow his eyes at his cell phone, "It's not funny Rossi."
"Yeah, it is," Dave said controlling his laughter.
"I think I'm going to have to audition new best friends," Hotch muttered.
"No need to be nasty" Dave cleared his throat."Aaron, you've dated before, just do the same thing that you did with Haley and Beth. Obviously, you won those two women over."
"Dave," Hotch said, exasperated, "It is not a date."
The popcorn had started popping in the microwave. At first, just one or two at a time, then popping a bunch in just a few seconds. As he listened to the pops to make sure his popcorn didn't burn, Logan stood up on a kitchen step-stool to grab the bag of red licorice in the cupboard. Climbing down, he could hear the pops slowing down, going back to two or three at a time. The man waited a few more seconds before pressing 'Stop'.
After pouring the popcorn into a bowl, Logan grabbed both his snacks and walked down the long hallway to what he always called 'the TV room'.
"Is it time for a horror flick yet?" Lola said in the creepiest way possible.
"Hell yeah!" shouted Mike.
"alright, guys! Sodas here, foods are here! Oh, wait the pizza's not here!"
"Got it Lola!"
Dana appeared with 5 boxes of pizza.
"Oh, thanks, Dana you are a lifesaver!"
Logan took the boxes and placed them at the small table in the center of the entertainment room.
"Alright! Everything's settled then?" and when everyone nodded Lola played the start button, and the lights of the room turned off the only source of light is the wall-sized Television.
Today was the Siblings-in-law`s Night
This night requires one thing and one thing only: the ability to bond over both being married to the craziness of a Ross. Anyone that didn't want to join the secret anti-Ross club that Logan, Lola, and Dana formed with Dodds is, frankly, a fool. Or possibly a Ross.
One day in a month, Dana, Mike, Lola, and Logan gather in a house and watch movies. It was their personal time away from their spouses for talk and gossip.
All of them found themselves in an expensive and comfortable sofa, Mike and Logan were also in the mattress beside the small table with a bowl of popcorn and, is the only thing between them, eating the contents every second. Lola was grinning her trademark creepy grin while Dana had closed her eyes tightly against the gruesome sound effects, refusing to even listen to such a disgusting thing.
Unlike her siblings-in-law, Dana didn't like horror movies. Especially zombie movies like the one on TV that was currently scaring her to death. She really couldn't understand Lola's and Mike's obsession with these kinds of movies. Logan agreed with Dana. Although he wasn't as much afraid of the movie as Dana was, he wasn't very keen on seeing seas of blood, decomposed zombies, and dismembered people.
"I will kill your fiance one day," Mike Dodds said during the movie.
"Why?"Lola asks while Logan and Dana were watching the movie.
"You remember that Grunder Triple Murder?' Mike asked, and Lola nodded. 'Christ, he was working on that for three weeks.'
"I remember it. Spencer dropped by to ask for Sonny's help- well demand his help, really- on something, and all the files were on the coffee table. She takes one look at the evidence photos, as well as the wife's interview, and solves it.' Lola snapped his fingers and took a gulp of vodka. 'Just like that.'
Mike added. ' Sonny sulked for four straight days, I ended up having to carry him into the shower completely dressed because he refused to bathe himself.'
Dana snorted a laugh, imagining Sonny sitting in the shower, completely drenched and pouting. He seemed the pouting type; Neal did it all the time.
'Does Mike ever get like that?' Lola asked.
'The single-mindedness or sulking?' Logan asked.
'Both,' Dana said.
Logan nodded. 'When he gets a new case he can get very focused to the point where he forgets to eat and sleep. Amy put a cot and coffee maker in his office at home, as well as put a bar fridge, so there's always food and coffee ."
'Sometimes someone has to physically pull him away from his computer,' Logan said. 'That's if he doesn't collapse from exhaustion.'
'They're good at exhausting themselves, aren't they?' Lola mused. Her stomach growled suddenly, and Mike laughed. 'Right, time for something to eat,' the professor said and grabbed a piece of pizza.
"What about Neal?"Dodds said after taking a large swig of his beer, "Is he like Mike or Spencer?"
"Worst. Once he passed out in his painting`s room because refused sleep until finish a painting."Dana tried. " At least my Ross is definitely wasn't the weirdest. "
"Sonny likes a tidy home,' Dodds said, 'and I mean tidy. He claims it's not OCD, but you have to admit there's something just a bit weird about freaking out when your books aren't sorted in alphabetical order by genre and author's last name.'
'Mike's a bit like that with his cases,' Logan tried. 'He has a system, both at home and in his office, and if I or anyone else disturbs it he freaks out.'
"Spencer won't leave dishes in the sink- they have to be washed as soon as you've finished using them,' Lola said. 'Magazines, books, shoes, clothing, all of it has to be in whatever order he wants. He has a cleaner in twice a week, and when he can't sleep, or he's stressed or bored, he goes on a cleaning frenzy. "
'I am right,' Dana decided. Lola and Dodds looked at him. 'My Ross is definitely the sanest.'
"What's like to be married to a Ross?"This stopped Lola from pressing the "Stop" button on the remote. Those eight words had captured all of their attention
"What?"
"Oh, Logan", Lola sat down in front of Logan. Her other siblings-in-law on each side of her. "What's the deal?"
What do you mean?", Logan sensed that he should be afraid, but he was not yet due to the cliche mafia inspired scene the three others were setting.
"What do you want from our brother is what we mean", Mike knocked two fingers on the table.
Only a lifetime together.
"Well, we're together. So… all implications implied", Logan said with a nonchalant voice hiding his insecurity.
Obviously, he had said the wrong thing, because these three chiseled, beautiful faces looked like they had just bitten on a raw onion.
"Our brother is one of the loveliest persons on earth", Lola began. Logan knows that. "And we wouldn't want him to get hurt."
The fear suddenly and slowly started to build up in his chest. "Look, uh… guys", Logan cleared his throat. "As much as I appreciate your concern for your brother, I really care about him. I don't intend to hurt him."
"Good", Dana said. "You wouldn't want to know how that'd turn out." She gave him a knowing look that Logan saw mirrored in the other' faces. Now he was scared.
Logan gave a tense smile, but nobody said something. The other three adults looked at him, ready to pull their weapons and kill him if necessary.
"Yoy guys suppose to be at my side," Logan said helplessly. " You know like a Ross` partner to another partner."
" We know but Mike is the puppy of the family", Mike Dodds answered sternly.
"The good thing is that Bastiana likes you" Lola contemplated.
Logan nodded. Feeling a weird sort of relief in his stomach.
"You want to propose.!"Mike stated monotonously."That it's the real reason behind the question. "
Logan looked at Mike a little shocked while Lola and Dana just kind of stared at Logan. He was ignoring them all and was turned toward Mike, glaring at him. Dana and Lola who literally jumped on Logan. He found himself thrown on the carpet.
"What is this pleasure worth to me?"Logan managed to say.
"Ahhhhh!"
Now Logan was sure the whole New York will come together under their happy cries.
"Michael, get our sister away, they scare me! Logan begged him.
Dodds pushed them away from Logan and Lola with Dana glared at him. The new member of SVU`s team ignoring them walked toward the sofa collapse saying." Women are crazy. I gave up trying to understand them."
"You have your future DA in your arms, "Dana said and she regretted her words. Everyone in the family knew how difficult it was for Michael and Sonny be an apart, in the last two years, Dodds was undercover in Italy and Sonny was depressed. All these emails, skype, facetime, and phone calls could not fill the void in the hearts of the two men.
"Not someone else arms."
Of course, there was a faster way for Dodds to come back from Italy.: Telling him Barba wants Sonny.
Carisi was not blind in Barba`s feelings toward him and telling Dodds about the competition, it wouldn't help anyone.
"You are talking about Barba?" Dodds asked, irritated. This caused Logan to turn towards him confused.
"No, I was talking about Sherlock Holmes"
After saying that, it took Logan only a minute until he face-palmed himself for saying something like that out loud.
As his blood began to boil with rage, Dodds gave a low growl and turned to glare towards the direction of the door. He wants to kill Rafael Barba, this man wants something which can not have because Dominic Carisi has his.
He met him during vocation at Russia, he punched a guy for groping a woman at a bar one night and Carisi punched a different guy because he and the other guy are friends, and they were both trying to get away with stuff. So they punched them both. Carisi and Dodds spent a long time at a local jail talking and learned thing about each other, On the same night Dodds asked him on a date and two years later they got married.
Now that stupid DA was threatening to destroy everything he had worked so hard for. The Dodds had been Carisi's first (first kiss and everything with a man), and he was going to make sure he was his last.
"Will you answer my question?" The businessman asked again, and the other three people in the room looked at him."What's like to be married to a Ross?"
"Marvelous" Dana started to say,
"Fantastic" Lola laughed.
"Fabulous" Michael giggled.
There was a long pause of silence.
Logan blinks.
"They are monsters! "
After a silly heartbeat, the group burst into laughter.
Her name was Alicia. It was a good name, Harvey decided to open the door before her. Simple, not exaggerated (Giselle), over-innovative and forcefully optimistic (Cheer) or taken from dusty old tomes like myths or bibles (Persephone). It was also fitting the little blonde in a tight red strapless dress that held onto his arm. She wasn't amazing but proved good enough, and that was all he could hope for lately. Of course, that wasn't his problem, he was simply too good and therefore required an unusual level of excellence to hold his attention. Like Bastiana, he felt his blood boil. After his first trial against her, she had tried to find information but of course, there was nothing in Bastiana's file. Not a damn thing about her except that she was a lawyer and worked at Wolf-Wilson and was forty-three. Nothing more, nothing less.
What are you thinking about?" Alicia asked, trying to take his hand. Seeing as his free hand was lying on the table and he wasn't even done with the wine card, he quickly pulled it away, forcing himself to smile.
"Nothing important, why?"
"You just looked like you were miles away. I didn't interrupt your train of thoughts, did I?"
"No" he forced himself not to snap, although in reality, he wanted to say 'yes'. "It was a long day in the office." He explained and started to look around hoping to find something to distract him both from his thoughts and the surprisingly irritating blonde in front of him.
And then he spotted a familiar face. Bastiana Wolf sat at the table in the far corner of the room, facing him, but completely engrossed in a conversation with a handsome man, whom he didn't know. He was just about to get up and say 'hi' when she, not unlike Alicia earlier, put her hand on the man's and smiled flirtatiously. He sat back down, willing to interrupt her date. He smiled at Alicia, deciding to cut his date as short as he could and get a good night of sleep instead. But, while waiting for his meal to arrive, he couldn't help but steal glances at his enemy and her companion.
It was only when they finished their dinner and Harvey got up to help Alicia back into her coat that he got a good look at the profile of the man accompanying Bastiana.
"You want me to drop the sue against Miss. Garcia"She grins. "Not a chance "
"Miss Wolf," Hotch tries to look calm, but it's obvious he's not pleased with her at all."I know that you are angry..."
"I am not angry "Bastiana cuts him off."I am fury out."
He looks slightly irritated and Bastiana almost wants to laugh.
"She broke the law" Bastiana insists, running her fingers through her hair.
"Wine?" Hotch asked, picking up the expensive bottle of red wine he'd ordered.
"Yes, please," Bastiana replied with a nod as she eyed up the sweet and sour chicken balls on her plate.
"You don't give a shit about the law"
An ironic smile, bright eyes shine with intelligence, again the very definition of adorable, for Hotch can't think of a more proper word.
"It's about my brothers "Bastiana hissed and avoided Hotch's curious eye. She just smiled and took a sip of her wine.
Hotch practically did a double-take as he looked at her. She's gorgeous…like supermodel gorgeous.
"We can find..."Hotch began but was interrupted by Bastiana`s hisses.
"Ι don't want to find a solution. I want an appropriate punishment."
"Anyone ever tells you that you're dramatic?" He asks.
Bastiana chuckles softly. "I'm a lawyer. It's in my blood."
She waits patiently until Hotch finally speaks.
"I asked around for you.!" Hotch cleared his throat, "Bastiana Wolf, men want to be with her and women want to be her. Clients like Seto Kaiba, Chuck Bass, Tony Stark, and the list go. You show up from the shadows with the showwoman`s nickname and your own firm."
Bastiana is already beginning to laugh.
"Pointing a gun in your face and you laughed -I read the testimony of a witness- you had hit him with a bat. Your personal folder is not found and nobody knows where you came from."Hotch finishes with a quirk of his eyebrow, utterly confused by Bastiana's sudden burst of joy.
"You're such a- you have a much better score in my version of the index."
Well, an index has to be based on commonly-accepted facts rather than personal judgment, but thank you."Hotch automatically puts on the smile that never fails to charm his marks.
"You are the second man on this earth who has the balls to ask me for my personal life."
There is still not much expression to be found on her face, but Hotch takes careful mental note of how the woman looks in panic.
"Second"
Pause
And there is a feather-like touch on her lips. Bastiana smiles, cheeks a little bit flushed, hair a helpless mess that covers half of her eyes (and those eyes are smiling too).
"I'm sorry, but does that imply something?" Hotch teases.
"Oh shut up." They both laugh.
"By the way, how much do I score in your index?"
Hotch snorts.
"97. Don't flatter yourself; it has nothing to do with my personal opinion."She tells the Agent eventually.
"What happened to those three points?"Hotch asks sounding slightly annoyed.
"Well, one for trying to charm me to drop the case against Penelope Garcia, one for took Garcia`s side, and the other for letting them search my brother `s file,"Bastiana says in a blank voice.
She began shielding her face with her hands, no longer paying attention to him but something over his shoulder.
He turned in his seat to look but she quickly grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back to her, "No, don't look now. He'll see us."
"What are you-" Hotch started but then Bastiana said loudly, "Lecter!"
Hotch looked to his right to see the Harvey Specter walking up to him and Bastiana with a blonde woman in tow. He quirked an eyebrow at the incoming pair and then turned back to Bastiana who had the fakest smile plastered on her face.
"Hello, Bastiana. Fancy seeing you here," the lawyer said with a wide grin on his face. His eyes moved between Bastiana's and Harvey's faces, then his grin got wider as if he knew something they didn't.
"Yes, fancy seeing me," Bastiana said, still trying to keep up appearances.
"Did you need something, Mr. Specter?" Hotch asked, not bothering to hide his annoyance. It was obvious that the man came here to cause trouble and ruin his first date with Bastiana
What?
Date?
It is not a date.
"Can't someone talk to an apposite lawyer when they see them?" Harvey asked innocently. The blonde girl finally caught up to the group and she too offered them a smile. Harvey continued, "I thought that you were working on the case"
Bastiana looked as if she were going to burst a blood vessel."I am ready to kick your ass."
"You must lea..-" Hotch intervened.
"Actually. "Harvey says throwing a file over the table."This is yours."
Bastiana rolled her eyes, taking the folder. "What is this?"
Harvey "You can read, right? "
Bastiana visibly straightened up, her eyes widening slightly before reverting back to her usual calm demeanor. "What the fuck is this ?"
Hotch was grinding his teeth, seething watching the disgusting display in front of him.
"See you in the trial," She said with a challenging look in her eyes.
"Are you asking me on a date?" Harvey grins, practically winking at Bastiana."I accept"
Hotch and Harvey both feel vindicated when Bastiana laughs.
