answers to reviewers questions or statements:
Fenrir44: What can I say, I'm a fan of EDI and Joker's relationship.
DarkDevilKnight: I don't see why she wouldn't be involved. I mean shy naïve nerd and shy naïve nerd, seems like a good fit.
Antihero1610: I guess I could include some of them, even though Medusa is kinda with Black Bolt.
Isaac LB: Yeah, Rogers would've been the perfect leader to have face off against the Reapers and unite the Galaxy... than Peter had to go and unintentionally fuck everything up.
Bahamut13: I have more than just sex in most of my harem stories. Smut can only carry a story so far.
Mr Guest: Shepard in this will be based heavily off the one I use in my recent playthrough. Mostly Paragon with the occasional bout of Renegade.
ADDM2017: We'll see whether or not if the suit he has on is Venom or not.
Mr No Bo Dy: This will be set entirely within the Mass Effect universe with occasional flashbacks to the Marvel universe.
John Jackson III: He's pretty smart. Like Mordin would be able start talking and Peter will be able to follow the Salarian for the most part and offer his own thoughts and ideas.
Kalvernus: Medical technology isn't advanced enough for short lived species to live for centuries, if that were the case, than the Vorcha and Salarians would be living longer life spans. Peter wont be making some sort of company while he's in this universe. No DC women will be present in this story, mainly because I'm adding another franchise to this, or at least some of the characters from said franchise.
Cosmicknight: It's possible.
Guest-Questioner: Depends on what you mean by over-sized. I'm gonna do my best to make sure each member of the harem gets their chance to shine in the story, sometimes going two or three or more chapters without having Peter involved. Also, your gonna pull a quote from Revenge of the Fallen, whose plot has more holes in it than the current Star Wars sequel trilogy?
Fortitude501: If you mean that Spider-man was sent to the Mass Effect universe, than yes, to a degree this story is similar in that regard. Difference is that Spider-man there ended up on the Citadel where's mine has ended up on a remote world out in the Terminus System and wont be heading to the Citadel for some time. Also no, Peter doesn't have Steve's shield.
Paul Crew: Not really.
Disclaimer: I don't own any Marvel or Mass Effect characters seen, mentioned or used.
For the better part of half an hour Peter stared outside at the alien landscape with a conflicted expression on his face. He's been trying to find a way to tell if the air outside was breathable or not, for all he knew the atmosphere outside contained no oxygen and he'd suffocate within minutes, or it could contain too much oxygen in which case he'd pass out within minutes. Either way, he'd be screwed unless he could find some sort of breathing device or better yet, a way back home.
"Just had to be a hero and save Cap from being sucked into a weird black hole thing" Peter said with a shake of his head as he began to pace before the window "I bet that alien lady was gonna be alive for him and she and Cap would've done the good old horizontal tango before she sent him back on his way. But ohhhh no, not me. No, instead she dies and leaves me stuck here wondering what'll kill me first, the lack of food and water or trying my luck and seeing if I'll survive outside. GAH! I I just wanna web someone in the face! Mother trucker, mother trucker!"
Times like this Peter wonders if the other Avengers ever got it this bad.
"Ahh who am I kidding, of course they don't" Peter said with a eye roll "They'd probably get sent to some super peaceful place where they'd get borderline worshiped or something"
Just as it seemed that Peter will just have to risk it and see if the world outside will kill him or not, he heard what sounded like something, multiple somethings, approaching from outside. Peter stopped and looked to see if he could make out the sources or sources of the sounds he was hearing before several unrecognizable aircraft suddenly emerged from the upper canopies of the alien jungle he was looking at. They didn't match any sort of ship he's ever seen and didn't seem heavily armed, in so far that he didn't see any missiles attached to the things or a giant laser cannon or two.
'Wonder if these guys are friendly or not...' Peter thought as the four craft began their descent and slowly floated down towards the surface 'Really hope that if their friends of the dead blue lady they don't think I did it just because I'm the only guy here'
Knowing his luck though, they probably will.
Once the ships were low enough to the ground, their sides slid open and ten people jumped out of each shuttle. Peter paused as he took in the newcomers appearance, almost all of them alien and unlike any kind he's seen before given half of them weren't wearing any sort of helmet. A lot of them looked like the blue skinned woman that Peter saw earlier only these ones were alive. The other alien looking species looked like some sort of reptile or amphibian based being while the remaining ones were all, to Peter's surprise, human. Or at least, they looked human enough.
They were also all armed and cladded in some sort of yellow-ish tan colored armor and a few of the armored men that hopped out of the shuttles were human, Peter noticed.
Humans without some sort of breathing device on, least one that he could see.
"Okay, so the air looks like it just might be breathable for humans at the very least" Peter said with a nod "So, things go south and these guys want me dead, just duck and rush into the jungle and hope to god that I don't get impregnated by some alien parasite and have it burst out of my chest"
Peter watched as the forty some armored force approached the building he was in, led by one of the blue lady looking people, when she seemed to notice Peter and held a fist up to halt the group. She shouted something, what it was Peter had no idea, but his spider-sense started to tingle and he saw the blue skin woman make a series of hand gestures as several of the armored humans and the frog looking aliens fanned out and aimed their weapons at the window Peter was standing in front of.
"Whelp, that answers the question if their friendly or not" Peter said before he leaped out of the way mere seconds before a hale of energy bolt fire tore through the window, shattering it.
The moment the window was broken, Peter could hear shouts outside, most of which he had no chance in hell of trying to understand. The humans on the other hand he could understand perfectly.
"Shit, where'd that fucker go?!"
"The hell should I know? It was your dumbass shooting at him!"
Peter had shot a web line towards the ceiling and yanked himself up to it and stuck to it upside down and stared at the broken window as two of the blue skinned women approached it, their weapons, which looked like some sort of assault riffle or something, at the ready. One of them said something in a language that he's never heard of before before she made a hand gesture and two humans and one of the amphibian looking alines, all armed with smaller weapons, entered the building.
"You see him anywhere Thriddul?" one of the humans asked as the armed men scanned everywhere but the ceiling.
The amphibian responded in a fast paced language while the other human grunted a negative while Peter watched as more and more of the unknown hostiles entered the building until there was at least twenty people beneath him.
'That leaves ten outside, at least' Peter thought as he glanced out the window for just a second when he felt his spider-sense flare 'Uh-oh-'
One of the blue skinned women seemed to notice Peter on the ceiling and shouted in what he assumed was her native tongue and pointed right towards him. The rest of her companions all followed her gaze and finger and saw Peter looking back at them. A few gaped at the sight of him, a black clad individual sticking to the ceiling and looking at them all with white lenses. Peter gave them a sheepish grin under his mask as he waved at a few of them.
"Uh hey, um, look could we just maybe-"
"SHOOT HIM!" one of the humans shouted as he brought up some kind of short stubby looking gun that had a pump action on it, marking it as a shotgun of some sort.
"Or not" Peter said as he leaped out of the way as the spot he occupied was torn apart by a volley of red energy bolts.
With a combination of his enhance speed, agility and webs, Peter was able to easily avoid the gunfire from the less than friendly band of armed people before he noticed one of the blue skinned women had a glowing purple-ish blue aura around her. Peter felt his spider-sense skyrocket as the woman made some sort of hand gesture and shot a ball of concentrated blue energy right towards him. Peter had a feeling it'd be within his best interest to not get hit by that odd ball of concentrated energy, especially since it's caster was part of a group of people that were trying to shoot and possibly kill him.
When the concentrated ball of energy struck the ceiling where Peter was, he was even more glad he avoided it as the surface seemed to ripple before it began to crack and tear apart.
"Note to self, avoid getting hit by flying blue balls of death" Peter said as he dodged several more bursts of gunfire from the people below before he landed amongst the group, causing several to jump back in surprise "Really sorry about this, but I'm getting tired of you all shooting at me"
Without another word, Peter held his hands up and began to shoot globs of webs into a number of the armed gunmen's faces, covering their heads and helmets' lenses. One of them ripped their helmet off to reveal they were another blue skinned woman whose began to flare the same blue purple color the other woman had. Peter tried to leap away before he could be hit when he found his body incased in a blue-ish light.
"Oh crap" Peter said when he found he couldn't move and was being lifted into the air by the blue skinned woman. Peter gulped as he stared at the dark grin on her face "H-Hey, you wouldn't happen to be willing to talk about-"
Peter was cut off by being slammed into the ground with enough force to knock the wind out of him before he was lifted into the air again and sent flying though the air and towards the wall. Thankfully the blue aurora around him had vanished before he slammed into the wall and allowed him to quickly contort his body so that he landed against the surface feet first. The force of the landing caused a few cracks to appear around his feet before he shot off the wall and back towards the group.
"Hi yo silver, awaaaaay!" Peter yelled as he flew towards the shocked group of armed aliens and humans.
One of the amphibian gunmen let out a startled yelp as Peter landed before him and grabbed him by the front of his armor and hoisted him into the air before throwing him towards several others. A few others brought their weapons up to try and shoot Peter while a few others fell back and had either their left or right arm incased in some sort of orange holographic gauntlet of some sort and aimed it towards Peter. The wall crawler's eyes widened as several of the individuals armed with these glowing orange gauntlets shot what looked like some sort of electrical shock towards him despite the fact that several of their friends were right next to him.
It seemed friendly fire wasn't a concern for these guys.
"GAAAHHH!" Peter yelped in pain as he and several of the armored men around him were hit by several of the charged electrical bursts.
Peter's suit seemed making an almost hissing sound as the powerful electrical currents spread through it. It wasn't as bad as being blasted by the likes of Electro, but it wasn't exactly a feeling he wanted to get used to. And as bad as it felt getting electrocuted by some EMP, it looked like the armored soldiers around him were getting it worse as some of them had their armor begin to actually smoke from all the electrical components they had in them being fried.
'Wonder what a blast like this would do to Stark' Peter thought with a grim smile under his mask as he fell to his knees as the electrical currents began to die down, allowing him to let out a pained breath as he tried to steady his breathing.
His suit for a moment felt like it was tightening around him before it stopped and seemed to let out a relieved sigh as it resettled over his body. Before Peter could give that thought any more effort, his spider-sense tingled just as he heard what sounded like someone pumping a shotgun and a barrel shoved into the side of his head.
"Owww" Peter hissed as he looked up to see the gun was held by one of the amphibian looking aliens "Uhhh, hi?"
The alien made a comment in it's language before it began to squeeze the trigger, intent on blowing Peter's head off in a shower of bone fragments and brain matter. Not for the first time Peter was glad he had enhanced speed and reflexes, though he'd by lying if he didn't wish for durability to rival the Hulk.
"MISS!" Peter said as he suddenly reached up and shoved the alien shotgun upwards, causing the alien to fire off a shot into the ceiling before Peter, with his grip still on the gun, pulled them into his other fist.
Peter was a bit surprised to find his hit land on some sort of energy field that seemed to surround the startled alien before he simply sent several more punches towards the alien, hitting the shield or barrier two more times before the third strike landed on the alien's actual body. The force of the blow sent them flying and allowed Peter to take the shotgun he still had in his hand and threw it at the blue skinned woman that was starting to glow again. She easily blasted the flying weapon away and began to charge up for another strike when Peter shot a glob of web at her face.
"Can't hit what you can't see" Peter said as he leaped into the air and shot a web line out and used it to swing across the room and towards a doorway.
Several of the gunmen shot after Peter, their energy bolts coming uncomfortably close to his body as he sprinted down the hall to the point he looked like a fleeing shadow. He heard a human yell at the others to follow him followed by several replies from the non-humans that could've been acknowledgements or simply telling the guy to stick his order in his ear.
Either way, he'd rather not stick around and find out.
'Gotta find another way out of here' Peter thought as he ran through the dark halls, scanning for another way out 'If I can get pass those guys, and take out any guards at the ships they came in on fast enough, I just might be able to fly one of those things out of here'
Flying an alien ship couldn't be that much harder than the X-men's Blackbird or the latest Quinn Jet, just push a few buttons, see what happens and go from there.
Peter was just nearing a corner that led to another hall when all of a sudden, a armored human carrying what looked like a sniper with a scope on it stepped into sight. He didn't seem to notice Peter running towards him until the wall crawler leaped into the air and shot a web line on each side of the surprised man. With a yank, Peter pulled himself, feet first, towards the man and crashed into his chest with both his feet. For a brief moment his blow was blocked by the shields that these people were equipped with before it flickered and died, allowing Peter's blow to land thanks to his forward momentum.
The two tumbled to the ground but only Peter sprung back up to his feet as the other man was still lying on the floor, trying to catch his breath. Peter didn't give him a moment as he covered the dropped man's rifle in a thick coat of webbing before he did the same to it's wielder.
"H-Hey, what the fuck is this shit!" the man let out a startled yelp as he found himself covered in webbing.
"Spider webs" Peter said as he poked at the white spider symbol on his chest "Granted it's not actual spider webs, they aren't naturally strong enough to hold a person, but the kind that I've synthesized in a lab will-" Peter stopped as he noticed the blank look he was getting from the man "...You have no idea what I'm talking about, do you?"
"All I got from that was your a fucking nerd" the man sneered.
"And proud of it" Peter said with a shrug as he looked around to see if there were any other armored humans or aliens nearby before he noticed a entryway into a small room that had more lighting than the mostly darkened hallways.
With a nod, Peter reached down and ripped the man off the floor, causing him to let out a startled yelp as he found himself being held in the air before thrown into the somewhat brighter room. Peter watched as the man tried to scramble back to his feet, but another several shots of webbing pinned the man back to the ground and held him there.
"Sooo…" Peter drawled out as he glanced back into the hall to make sure none of the others were coming before he looked down at the tied up man with a frown "You mind telling me where we are? I get the feeling that I'm not in Kansas anymore"
"Fuck you!" the man growled out.
Peter quirked a brow at this "Huh? Never heard of it. Safe to say, I'm less than impressed with the place. Noticed this place isn't exactly tourist friendly"
"Your a dead man, you hear me!" the merc bit out "No one fucks with Eclipse and gets away with it! No one!"
"Eclipse? That who you guys are?" Peter asked.
"Nooo, we're the fucking Blue Suns" the merc said with sarcasm so obvious, even a rock would notice it.
"I hope they have better manners than you guys seem to have" Peter said dryly as he rummaged through his mind to see if the name 'Eclipse' meant anything.
He may not have been very knowledgeable about space fairing organizations like some of his fellow Avengers are, both current and former, but Peter was pretty sure he's never heard of Eclipse. A band of people, some human, the others some kind of alien species he's never seen before, some of which have some kind of weird ability that involves glowing a purple blue color and being able to grab and destroy things with said blue purple color thing, is bound to drawn some attention.
'Maybe the X-Men will know more, they go out into space a lot' Peter thought with a mental shrug before he returned his attention to the restrained man before him "All right buddy, how far away is Earth from this place? I'd like to get back in time to see the Mets game I got tickets for. Also I may have left the stove on so I'd like to get back before my apartment burns down... again"
Granted the first time was because he underestimated how much kick one of Osborn's pumpkin bombs' had but that was besides the point.
"You make it sound like your gonna leave this place alive you fucking little twat!" the merc snarled as he struggled against his web restraints "When I'm done with you, even a fucking Vorcha wont want to use what's left of you for ass paper or whatever the hell it is they use
"Man, aren't you just a ball of sunshine and rainbows" Peter said with a chuckle as he crouched down next to the merc and tapped him on the side of the head "But I think I'm good. After going into space so many times and facing down the likes of Thanos and Galactus, taking on some punks with a few fancy guns and weird glow-y powers doesn't seem to hard in comparison"
At this, the merc made a confused face "Huh? Thanos? The hell you talking about?"
"Thanos..." Peter said with some confusion in his voice as he gave the merc an odd look "The Mad Titan?"
"The fuck is a Titan?" the man asked with even more confusion.
"It's what he is" Peter said with growing unease "Really big purple guy with god like power, has a private army called the Chitauri that ride around in big nightmare fuel snake monsters"
The merc's response was to simply give Peter a look that screamed he had no idea what the wall crawler was talking about. This caused the uneasy feeling Peter was feeling to grow more.
"You... you at least know who Galactus is, why?" Peter asked as he rubbed the back of his head.
"The fuck is Galactus?" the man said.
Peter stared at the merc in complete silence, which unnerved the man a little as he began to fidget under the unblinking gaze of Peter's blank white lenses. Peter meanwhile was beginning to have an internal panic attack.
Everyone and he means everyone has heard of Galactus, no matter what part of the universe they were from.
A cosmic god that roams around devouring entire worlds was something you just missed. Even on Earth, which has only in the last decade or so been introduced to the greater universal powers that be, knew of the cosmic being. Hell, Galactus has an entire genre of science dedicated to him from when he first touched down on Earth all those years ago and all of the readings, recordings and data that the Fantastic Four, Avengers and SWORD have acquired in their meetings with him. Last Peter checked, he was labeled as the one guy you do not pick a fight with and if you seem him coming, run like hell in the opposite direction as fast as humanly possible.
'This isn't good. I really hope I'm wrong about this...' Peter thought nervously as he stared hard at the merc before him "Just out of curiosity, but uh, what year is it? I've uh, been here a while and I've kinda lost track of time"
The merc stared at Peter with a quirked brow "It's... it's 2182"
Peter's eyes widened at this 'One hundred and sixty two years? Sweet mother of Thor and Hercules on Christmas!'
So it seems that Ultron's little black hole, if it was even his doing, not only sent him to a distant planet, but also almost two hundred years into the future...
And if the merc was telling the truth about never hearing of the likes of Thanos or Galactus, he may not be in the same universe anymore.
'This is so not good' Peter thought as he stood back up and ran a hand over his face as he tired to think of his next course of action. He didn't get long to think when he felt his spider-sense tingle and he heard multiple voices, some human, some alien, coming down the hall.
Peter did a quick scan of the room he was in before he noticed what seemed like a air duct on the other end off the room. It looked like it was big enough to crawl through and may even lead him out of this place. All air ducts had to lead out at some point, at least on Earth that seems to be the case.
'Wont know standing around here' Peter thought as he glanced back down at the Eclipse merc and gave him a two finger salute "Loved out chat but I gotta bail. Sounds like your friends are coming and I'd hate to be here to ruin the long awaited reunion you must be looking forward to!"
"Fuck you-" the man began before Peter cut him off with a blast of webbing to the mouth.
"Oh hush you" Peter snickered before he shot a web line out towards the air duct and pulled himself towards it.
He landed next to the air duct and gave it a quick once over before grabbing part of the frame and began to pull. It was a bit stronger than what he expected but after applying a little more pressure, the metal began to buckle and bend until he tore it from the wall entirely and tossed it aside. He glanced inside to see that the air ducts were practically sterilized in how clean they were. It was a nice change of pace from the grime covered ducts he'd crawl through back on Earth.
"UGH, please don't let there be any giant alien bugs in here" Peter said as he may his way into the air ducts.
It wasn't until Peter was several meters in when he realized that technically speaking, there was a alien bug in crawling around in here-
Himself.
...
Outside the facility, the Eclipse captain leading this group, an Asari, stood by one of the shuttles with a less than pleased look on her face as she listened in on her squads com chatter. It seemed this black clad individual that could stick to walls like some kind of damn bug was proving harder to kill than they thought.
"How in the hell are twenty heavily armed mercs losing to a single person who appears to be unarmed and unarmored?!" the Asari said with a growl of annoyance "This better not fucking get out to the others or I'm gonna collect your fucking scalps and wear them as I face fuck your loved ones into a coma before feeding them to a pack of Varren!"
"Were trying but this guy, he's..." one of the mercs answered before he trailed off as the Asari turned towards him with an annoyed glare "He's... he's some kind of freak ma'am"
"Than get in there and shoot him before I decide to shoot you myself!" the Asari snapped before looking at the rest of the assembled mercs around her and flared her Biotics "That goes for the rest of you assholes!"
Several nearby Eclipse mercs flinched at the threat and a few ran off to join the hunt inside for the unknown man they saw earlier. The Asari watched them go for a moment before she sighed and pinched the ridge of her nose.
This was supposed to be a simple smash and grab after their sensors picked a large amount of energy coming from this facility not too long ago. For a while now Eclipse had been wondering what the Asari here had been doing with the purchased labor force they provided and wondered if whatever it was that was being built could fetch a price on the black market.
'But now we have to take care of whoever the hell this guy is before he lets someone else know what we're up to' the Asari thought with a scowl while one of her lieutenants, a Salarian, cautiously approached her.
"What do we do?" the merc asked with a frown "At the rate our guys are dropping, we'll have to pull back and re-asses our plans"
The Eclipse Vanguard was silent for a moment as she considered their options before something clicked in her head and she began to smirk.
"They said this guy was some kind of freak, right?" the Eclipse captain asked.
"Uh, yeah?" the man said with a confused look on his face.
"Well than..." the Asari said as she turned back towards the compound that was giving her people so much trouble "Lets see how he handles our freak..."
The lowly merc paled at this, finally understanding what or more accurately who his superior was referring to as she activated her Omni-tool and contacted the others back at their base of operations.
"This is Naala, get the 'bitch' up and tell her we have a freak in need of killing"
"She's not gonna be happy you woke her up cap'n" the voice on the other end replied with unease.
Naala rolled her eyes at this "Don't care. Get her ass up and send her this way along with some mechs"
She cut the connection before the merc could respond before drawing her own rifle and gestured for several others to follow her into the facility as gunfire continued to echo out from it.
...
And done.
Next chapter, Uh oh...
